Rated M for violence, gore, laguage, and romance.
Footsteps. Ellis stopped immediately. She looked around, her blue eyes narrowed into tiny slits. She stood still, not even breathing for a mere second before the tiny elf girl whipped out her bow from behind her back and notched an arrow. Ellis took a step. Then another. Looking at the ground, the sand beneath her feet were covered in footsteps. But were they hers? Ellis took a few steps back. She had probably wandered out too far from Amina again. Sighing, Ellis figured that there were no more monsters here. It would be a good idea to get back.
Ellis still had her bow armed and ready, just in case a desert worm or mummy appeared before her. There suddenly has been more monsters. Closer and closer to the city that she lived in. She had no idea why. It concerned her, there never was an outbreak of monsters near the desert city of Amina. She started to jog back,, seeing the outline of her familiar town. Amina wasn't very large, just big enough for 100 elves and their families. Amina had a beautiful oasis right inside of the town square, which was surprising for a city in the desert. Amina had tiny shops, ranging from grocery stores, weapon shops, clothing shops and even a healer. Ellis thought it was a nice little town to live in, but it was also very hot being in the desert.
The elves in the city all looked similar. Pointed ears, bright colored hair, and bright colored eyes. Although everyone looked similar, all elves were different. Ellis waved to a couple of familiar elves, and then Ellis's feet brought her to the Oasis. For many times, Ellis sat at this very place just... thinking. Setting her bow right next to her, Ellis noticed the sky was darker. Filled with dark, musty clouds. This wasn't normal. Amina is always sunny and happy. But now it is dark. Does anybody notice this? Ellis waved her hand through her waist long blonde hair. She tugged at the knots, still deep in thought. Maybe there was a connection between the outbreak of monsters and the darkness?
