This is where Auki and I will post our characters. For those just reading for kicks, here is a plot synapse.
At the turn of the 22n'd century, humanity was thrown into another World War. With the planet Earth behing home to nearly 20 billion, the war was massive and the collateral damage significant. With the end of the war, the victors reaped the spoils and started a new World Government. The World Leaders decided that the root of all conflict was the verious religions of the world.
To fix the problem, the State scoured the cities of the world with military force, rounding up all religious books and scrolls and other documents they could find and burned them. Churched, Mosques, and Temples were demolished or locked down.
Contrary to the belief of the World Leaders, the fighting did not stop, it only narrowed down who was fighting. To follow a religion is to violate the peace, a crime punishable by incarceration and/or death. The Faithful are a insurgent faction of people who defiantly hold on to religion, people who violently fight against the State Military.
