Lieorian, the last of the ancients is dead and with him the secret of the Pandora's scrolls. Cronus, the man who killed him, is heading to Sigard to serve under the master he betrayed his clan for.

Tiny fragile of hope in the shape of a little girl named Bria is carrying the six scrolls while escaping Chanclera with her life just to reach the last man who can possibly read them.

Ciara, the Oracle of Fire has awaken at last to guide the group with the final words of the goddess "Shahar", the arch-angel of hope.

Two of Emonalach's finest generals are gone, but the other Five and himself are still planning a big war against the other kingdoms, along with Emperor Morgan from the Esgares, who seems to be pulling the strings.

The champion of Aerosia, Sandor, has fallen to the demon of Norgard, but is Devon's hunger truly satisfied with the warrior's death, or will he continue his hunt for the group?

The Nephilim are still crawling into our world from the depths of the darkness and the latest events in Chanclera and Ascara seem to be increasing their power.

From Norgard, a new hope is born, setting out to stop this great war, and to uncover the secrets of the past and the future, once and for all.

Welcome to the third Chapter of Until kingdom comes. This plot's story, though I'll try my best to allow new players to fit right in, will indeed take place after the events of the first chapter (http://role-player.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1594) and the second chapter (http://role-player.net/forum/showthread.php?t=17040).

Fear not, I shall work my best to make sure new players who are willing will have no problems fitting right into the events. (If there are further questions or so, do PM me ).

The story will start from Norgard, however will most likely to focus on Sigard and Esgares.

Rules:

- No god moding. It means that you can't be more powerful than other players, unless I approved of it and you actually did something in the plot to gain that power. Yes, those who played in the previous chapters may be stronger than new players because they have gained themselves new powers/weapons. Keep in mind however, that I can always change that according to the need of the plot and the story.

- Try to be real. Try to interact with the others accordingly. Try to work as a team. Be realistic within the world around you and with my plot. I have proven over and over again in my previous chapters that those that experience more, are truly stronger. I want you to grow along with your characters and achieve new heights with them, within the limits of the plot. Trust me, everyone who stayed long enough with me in the story gained themselves some sort of a power.

- If you are not going to keep checking on this then don't join (You must at least check on this once a week). If you are joining and then leaving for a long long while know that I WILL take over your characters or and let other members play them or even kill them (or leave them behind).

- I don't require tons of posts in a little while, aka speed-posting, but the posts that will be shown to me would have to be at least 2 paragraphs. I want at least one post per a week.

- Max of 4 characters per a player. (Not including NPCs).

Emperor Morgan

The new Emperor to the house of Ath'zola, Morgan was to fit into his father shoes' before he reached the age of 18 for the sudden death of his father, Emperor Evinadav II. Despite his young age, he ruled like non before him and many feared him for his unpredictable moves. Now at the age of 29, Emperor Morgan has set himself upon his new quest to conquer and rule the world.


Emonalach

Appeared 11 years ago at Esgares, saying he was sent to heal the world in the name of god and everyone thought him to be one of the citizens of Ivalor. He had stood by Emperor Morgan's side till this very day as his most trusted man and adviser, but who might be this shadowy figure?

The patron deity of the "mothers", a female mage clan that wears red in her honor as the emblem of the "fire of hope". Few knew her real name which is "Shahar". She is the arch-angel of hope and seems to have a strong connection with Emonalach.

"Goliath" of the The Golden Bar

Few know of the guy's real name and only address him when he allows them to. He was once one of 'The Scales' and now he is one of the many who hates the Lord Trader Dravon and wishing to dethrone him, creating another organization, by the name of 'The Golden Bar'. He used the time of Dravon's absent well, plotting with a being, that some considered to be inhuman, to gain more power and wealth.

Ascara

This nation keeps the old traditions of the past and are not easy to accept changes. Holds the best of mercenaries and traders to hire and their people are known to have strong will and valor. They are fast to drew their blades and the honor code guides them. Discrimination is at rise there, especially against women. The desert land used to be ruled by the elderly and wise Sultan Abad Al Aziz but now there is a great upheaval going on in the kingdom. Note: Not reachable in this RP


Norgard

The main city of this kingdom is placed within a cold fortress upon the highest ridge of ice top mountains. The people are so used to the cold and the difficulties of living there, that their skin grew thicker. The males are known for their impressive body figure and the females for their beautiful golden hair. They rely mostly on ranged weapons, such as bows or spears and they are great hunters. The kingdom of Norgard is a mixed civilization: Barbaric tribes of druids living alongside the cultured nation of their former ruler, queen Kasilica, who was killed not long ago. Within the great forests surrounding the fortress and cities are many other wild clans and tribes as well.


Chanclera

A kingdom surrounded by flora and nature. The people there live within the midst of a great everlasting forest. There is great magic at work in these lands, and many known wizards were born there. However, the place was deemed as 'land of death' ever since the rumors of berserk behaviors of individuals known as the assassins of the "Luna Fangs" clan started to wrack havoc in the kingdom. No one dares to try and explore into these lands and few escaped from there to tell the tale. Note: Not reachable in this RP


Aerosia

Unlike the other countries, this kingdom was build within an isolated land surrounded by lakes and seas. The people there are mainly land workers and fishers, living a plain and modest life. With the lost of their champion and King, they are to relay upon the help of a mysterious group of mages known as the "mothers" to keep away the shadows from their lands. Note: Not reachable in this RP


Sigard

Also known as the “metal city”. The country never had much of resources, but they were wise enough to use what little they had and accept the progress of changes. They hold the most advanced military weapons and are still working to investigate more. They are also welcoming scientists and alchemists to their lands in order to develop more inventions. The country holds no army, aside of a small project called the "Elemental warriors", but they are offered funding, resources and defense by the other kingdoms in return for their service. The kingdom is controlled by a council formed of 60 members which is led by the High Chancellor, Izlude.


Ivalor

Also known as the “holy city”. Used to be ruled by the high priestess Noa, now the one pulling the reins is the high priest, Bolgan and his holy guards, the "redeemers". The kingdom has been cut off, a powerful barrier Preventing anyone from coming in or out.Note: Not reachable in this RP


Esgares Empire

Lied across the wide continent of the western lands. This mighty empire has risen upon the remains of ruined countries that wished nothing more but to restore their long forgotten honor and retrieve the old traditions. Ever since the truce, the empire has trade with few of the kingdoms in the east such as Ascara and Sigard and also been rumored to have taken upon itself to train the young paladins of the holy order in Ivalor. Many assumed it was Emperor Morgan's plan to plant many more seed of suspicion between the countries, but it was never truly confirmed.

Warriors of the northern land are trained men who got off the path of normal magic and isolated themselves in order to become one with nature. In return mother earth gave them the wisdom to control the land and the surroundings. They can make beasts do their bidding and some may transform into the creatures they rule. fit with Chanclera and Norgard

The spell casters, trained upon the elements of fire, wind, ice and earth. Rare are the people who learn to master other type of magic and elements. They are wise, but most of them turned for the quick money path lately, making the “Lunar-fang” order of assassins work twice as hard. Casting spell is done mostly in a Verbal farm, meaning one cry upon the spell name and cast it, yet Wizards proved to be creative when it comes to casting a spell. They can either make potions or drugs and toss it, use catalyst such as Scrolls or jewelry or add to themselves living organs or some sort of material parasite in order to do the job. Don't fit with Ascara and Ivalor

Considered by most as the dark users of magic, these wizards had long ago isolated themselves in order to gain the information needed to learn about life and death. They see death merely as a natural part of life and do not seek to deny its arrival. Their singular knowledge of the unknown allows them to face death without fear. These ideals, coupled with an understanding of the natural balance between Order and Chaos, explain why they have not fallen prey to the influences of evil. Necromancers have the ability to reanimate corpses of most entities and to control the recently dead. The dead release spiritual energies that haunt the mortal realms. The Necromancer can focus these energies, giving them manifestation in the corporal world. Practitioners of necromancy can curse the very fate of a victim by manipulating the Prime energies flowing through all living things. fit best with Esgares and Sigard

Quick and fast, known for they excellent skills as spies. It's true that some of them are trained in the art of thievery but, and as they claimed, the target exalt the meaning. They train at big guilds, but most of them turn to work solo. Trusting one might prove to be a dangerous bet, for they are known to easily switch sides if the pay is worthy enough.fit best with Ascara and Aerosia

The merchants are known for the fact that they can freely pass from one country to another, and never to be hurt by anyone because of an agreement signed long ago, however, they are forced to sell to everyone, be it murders, houseless, whores or kingdoms with other political view, because, after all, allies or foes, everyone needs goods. They do their best business while at war and they don't follow any code of moral or culture, unless they are within a kingdom and then they need to obey rules until they leave. The kingdoms which host them don't grantee for their safely, but no one wants to harm traders since they work in groups and traders have spies and helpers everywhere. No one can just go and be trader, it require a "silver tongue" skill, good business grasp and knowing from the start you might not end up building your own home and family since you require to consistently move from one place to the other. They wear typical clothing of white with red strips. Skills: Learn to tame any beast to use for transport. fit with Ascara, Aerosia and Sigard

It started out as a secret army project to try and boost the power of a normal soldier. However when the other countries learned of this, the project was moved to a secret lab in Sigard. The men in charge were able to train the warriors to wield a minor ability of one elemental force and to wield it while using a weapon to control it. There are very few warriors of this type because you must have some affinity to magic to begin with. Most of the warriors were abduct in youth and were used as guinea pigs. Sigard only

In the old days, to be one was never considered to be acting in a profession and was always regarded as sub class of the Wizards, and since elementals study was far more approved back then most of the healers left their lands and found a home at Ivalor, where they were respected and considered as apostles, envoy of god. The late high priests of the council of 12 priests were all Healers, Including the 3 high priests who ruled them. The higher levels of healers can not only heal and use supportive spells but can also use light elemental magic and can light a room or blind their foes. Healers' main downside is the fact that they are not trained in melee combat, or more to say, because of the use of the power of the "soul" their body is much weaker than average and they will need the aid of a warrior while in battle. fit with Ivalor



Jobs you can't pick in this RP but you should know about:

Also known as the warriors of light as they are trained in both healing and fighting skills. They best suited with swords, axes, clubs and spears. They remain honest to their order and follow their masters' rules alone. Some may say they do not deserve to be trusted for they are most likely to back stab you if their high priest demands it. Ivalor is cut off of the world and the paladins have some strange eerie about them. They said Paladins are starting to act differently worldwide too. Other countries have started to seal their doors for anyone bearing the Ivalor's emblem. (Note, in the third story, they shall be known as the "Dark Redeemers").

Also known as the destroyers of magic, this clan have vowed to hunt down and kill any rogue mages who uses his power for evil. From early age they train their mind and body against any effect of magic. No one dares to go against the order of the Lunar fangs and those who do will suffer painful and slow death. In the colder kingdoms such as her homeland, Lydia wears a white furred cloak which cuts off at her midsection, where the brown half starts.

She’s sarcastic on a good day and cynical on a bad one, but she won’t complain if something is obviously well thought-out.

Brief History: Lydia grew up without really knowing her family; an orphanage taking her in was one of her first memories. As a child, Lydia showed obvious signs of magical ability, which was strange in the Norgard Kingdom, leading some to believe her parents were not from Norgard. As she grew up, Lydia began to harness her power and train it, becoming a rather successful Ice Wizard. She also grew handy with enchanting, which she used to make her some money to finally live on her own. As it stands, it’s not enough to afford her more than a small hut on the outskirts of the city of Toria, but she manages by spending most of her free time away from home anyway, in the mountains of Norgard.

Weapons: Meda wields a long black staff made of human bone except the top which seems to be actually alive. In fact the tip of the Staff is a living raven under Meda's full control. It obeys his commands and can and will detach from the staff at will.
Clothing: Meda wears a large purple blue cloak that almost seems to have a mind of its own. The cloak itself seems to be woven out of the furs and skins a many different animals. His shirt is standard leather like his pants and boots. His clothes are extremely durable but have shown signs of obvious wear and tear.
Accessories: Meda prefers to carry a small leather pouch around to hold various poultices and herbs for the occasional wound
Special Abilities: Meda uses his necromancy to revive any animal he has encountered from the folds of his coat. This ranges from Deer to wolves and birds, even fish. There are no records of Meda's abilities so none truly know the extent of his abilities. although the fact that he is a necromancer automatically denotes a basic understanding of healing magics. His cloak also seems to move of its own accord and take on animalistic behaviors.

Persona: Meda is a character strewn throughout Ascaran folklore. He lives far up in the mountains tucked away inside a small paradise valley untouched by Man. He is a mythical character. Meda's origins in lore have him in the forest of Uther Shadow but she is said to have faded away with the demise of the forest's magics. Those who claim to have met him say he is a man of few words and brutal honesty. His words are said to carry enough weight to bring a great man to his knee's. Another rumor says he's the kin of demons and rebelled against them after a disagreement. Recently he has been spotted in Norgard. Rumors and speculation follow his every step. His purpose in Norgard is however truly unknown.

He is just short of seven feet with shoulders wide as an axe handle is long and a build that has spawned rumors of him being descended of giants. The leather chord around his brow has been replaced by the Iron Crown of Norgard. It bears no jewels or is even made of any priceless metal. Arjak's hair has grown out past his shoulders and he wears a well trimmed beard on his masculine jaw. His eyes are still that molten gold, piercing and feral, giving him the nickname 'The Wolf King'.

He does this more often – or just starts fights for kicks – when he has more mead in him than he should. What he believes in more than just desserts is proving oneself on the battlefield. Honor and Duty mean everything to Arjak, as it did to his father, grandfather, and the rest of his ancestors since the beginning of his line.

Though Ciara and leadership have calmed his usual aggressive self, Arjak's temper has been refined in to a very powerful tool. Two months as High King and his presence is already revered, and his addresses to the people leave man and beast heartened by the power of his words. By no means softened by his office, Arjak is still an esteemed fighter, and will be seen on the battlefield by his fellow Norgardians, not hiding away in the castle.

Brief History: Being born into a family of powerful Thanes, Arjak grew up in the grand halls of his family, the House of Andunn. Since he could walk and comprehend speech, he was taught the mantra of his family, what the legacy of his family is and what big shoes he had to fill. When he reached the ripe age of ten, he was sent into the wilderness to learn the ways of the wild, to find which part of nature called to him. He wandered the frigid cold wilderness for five days, near death when a pack of wolves found him.
He grew up with the wolves, learning how they think, how they act, almost becoming part wolf himself. The pack traveled with fought for territory and food with a rival pack, its leader a massive black tyrant of a wolf. Arjak killed it at the end of the long conflict and now dons the black wolf, refusing to let such an honorable foe simply rot.
Returning back to White Forest - the city of his birth – at the age of 19, he found that his father had died many years ago from illness, leaving Arjak as Thane al’Andunn.

Arjak departed from the responsibility as Thane to indulge in a childish wanderlust, but such ventures would not be fruitless. Arjak learned much in his travels, and if he had not left on his journey, he would not have met his wife, Ciara, and he would not have been enlightened to the dark powers at play that endangered the world. He traveled with Ciara and a number of other companions they met along the way to Ascara and ultimately Norgard. He has fought with them and beside them, earning his trust a hundred times over. They fought beside Arjak as he lead a rebellion against the Queen of Norgard, and with their help, the Druid armies of Arjak claimed the capitol in a day.

Much to his chagrin, Arjak was placed upon the throne by the other Druid Chiefs, leaving Arjak's brother, Epinala, as the High Thane of Andunn. With Vanskmunr as his sword and scepter, Arjak has started bonding the two very different people of Norgard - the Druids and the Civilized, making Norgard stronger in her unity. In the two months since the battle, Arjak has named Ciara his beloved, his wife, and his queen.

Kin (family): The al’Andunn family is revered for their unwavering loyalty and fearlessness in battle. Perrin al’Andunn, Arjak’s father, was one of most famous and highly decorated generals in Norgard history. Perrin’s wife, Morrigan, was a druid, it was from her that Arjak got his powers and it was from his father that he got his strength. Being the eldest of five, and being the only male of the bunch, he was pressured endlessly to be the best man he could be, his father was determined to see his only son outshine him. His sisters are Elayne, Lithaleen, Egwene, and Marrian. They are all sweet girls, young and energetic, the root of all of Arjak’s headaches. Arjak's wife is Ciara Anstruther, and they have yet to bear any children.

Appearance: Zelvad stands at six feet two, 180 lbs, and slimmed to fit. He has a noticable green tint to his skin, along with bright auburn red hair that is in a ponytail and falls to the middle of his back, and Jade green eyes to match.

Zelvad received this blade upon passing the trials placed before him as a sign of his admittance into the Lunar Fangs clan. The sheath is made from deer hide, while the knife itself is a melted down portion of the blade he trained with. The hilt has a pearl inside of it in the shape of a crescent moon...further showing his place among the Fangs. He keeps it strapped to his right ankle.

Widow's Wrath

This scimitar was made for the sole purpose of misdirection. At first glance, it seems pretty dull and incapable of doing any damage. Upon closer inspection though it shows a very dangerous serrated edge.

Clothing:
When on leisure, Zelvad wears anything comfortable usually in the colors of purple or brown. When on a job though, Zelvad wears a tightly tied full black tunic with a mask, affectionately decorated with 8 eyes and fangs, though the fangs are drawn on and he only needs two of the eight eyes to see with.


Accessories: Since leaving his house in Ascara, he wears a sliver spider as a tie off for his hair. Said pendant also carries a hidden blade, though it's only used for slicing up fruit along with other miscellaneous tasks....thus leaving the blade very dull and very ineffective at combat.

His mask has also become a very interesting part of Zelvad's life, for when he wears it allows the the voice inside to take control.

Special Abilities: As per any assassin, Zelvad carries uncanny resistance to magic and any of its forms. Though with the awakening of his power, Zelvad has found many nifty new abilities.

One particularly useful trick is that by removing the hidden blade inside the silver spider, his magic can bring it to life and move it wherever he pleases by his will. Also by closing his eyes, he can see through the eyes of the spider, giving him an advantage in battle with a bird's eye view of the action as well as an ability to find weak points in guarded structures.

Next, through inspired experimentation in the heat of battle, if Zelvad seems to become disarmed he can will his blades back to his hands...given he's within a proper enough range of course.

Also found from awakening to the power of the Ancients, Zelvad has begun to understand the properties of blood magic...a taboo amongst the Fangs, thus making him an instant outcast...though a neccesary evil given the task at hand.

Through his own force of will Zelvad is able to channel his magic through his blood once wounded to do his bidding...though only for a limited time. However this time can be extended if he continues to shed the blood of others. Though it should be noted that all of his abilities save for this can be done with out the cost of bloodshed for obvious reasons.


Job: Assassin

Likes: Simplicity, Nature, spiders

Dislikes: long-winded explanations, varying amounts
of disrespect for nature and it's animals, and people messing with his hair.

Persona:
Zelvad is more of a night owl, waking from sleep around dusk...though he does sometimes experience the day though only on days he feels are important. The weirdest thing about him that he notices is that he keeps to himself, yet is very talkative when approached...mostly for inquiry towards other people's attitude and habits. He also has a what some would call a "unhealthy" love of spiders, which earned him his nickname. Zelvad doesn't see it that way though. He sees spiders as a example to show the speed that life likes to put people through. The webs he notes as a metaphor for how people get stuck in the smallest of problems which can quickly spiral out of control, consuming them and eventually lead to the end of life....as noted by the spider.

Since coming in to his power, there has been a feminine voice echoing inside Zelvad's mind, a voice only made known to the world when he dons his mask. Zelvad believes that this entity is one of two things:

Either he came into his power too soon and it helping him through his subconscious to ease into his abilities, or his magic and his beliefs have merged and swirled so heavily that it has made The Widow real in his mind.

Regardless of what it truly isone thing is certain. When Zelvad wears that mask, he is out for blood.

History:
Zelvad was born into a very sheltered existence, living amongst the woods and life of the wood itself. He especially loved any swampy areas he came across during walkabouts. Something about them seemed...gritty...yet refined and beautiful. It was here he came across his very first Spider and was fascinated by how something with so many legs, didn't trip over itself whenever it tried to move. He followed the spider all the way to its web where he then saw the spider suck the life from a freshly caught fly.

He would come by everyday and watch the same spider do the same thing everyday, enthralled by how quickly a life could end by not paying attention to everything around it. The saddest memory though is when the spider died, leaving an empty web. Upon that event he took it as a sign that to stay in the same place for too long led to stagnation and eventually his end. Zelvad then took it upon himself after that to leave his home to go make his own at the age of 16. Not only was it having to leave his family, it was leaving that little swamp that he adored so much. He bid farewell to his mother and father and left.

Upon reaching the main part of the city around nightfall, his innocent eyes caught a glimpse of a man in tight black clothes rush past him. He had never seen a man like this before, though it immediately reminded him of the spider from home. Given that thought, he quickly followed the man and peeked around a corner only to see the man with a knife against the throat of what looked of a mage of some sort, a look he only remembered for the fact that his father was a druid. The mage begged what he called the "assassin" for mercy, offered money, land, women. Before the mage could speak anymore, the man in black cut his throat wide open. Zelvad's Spider had come back from the dead, and it was till doing it's job proudly. His first reaction led to a gasp which made him discovered...then everything went black.

The next thing he knew he was in a house he did not recognize and securely tied to a chair. Looking up, his eyes locked onto the man in black...the assassin. The Spider had caught this fly, and for the first time Zelvad knew what it was like to be stuck in the web and he was afraid, paralyzed by what the Spider might do now that he was alone and powerless. This man however showed mercy to the fly in front of him. The Spider offered him the chance to never play the role of the helpless prey....a chance to become the Spider...an assassin.

Zelvad accepted without question, knowing full well what he was getting himself into. This led to 8 years of the most intensive, punishing training he'd ever experienced. The next year after led on with the man he'd come to know as "Master Livata" shadowing Zelvad during his first contracts. The master then let Zelvad go on his own at the age of 25 as a full member of the Lunar Fangs.

Only months after becoming an assassin and settling in Ascara however, he became wrapped in a confilct that would change his life forever. The assassination attempt on the Elders in Ascara by Cronus would've been a complete success had it not been for Zelvad's interference. It was then that he came upon the Elder Roseabelle and after being informed of the task ahead, she released his power in her final moments.

Now with the power of the Ancients at his hands, he seeks to bring understanding and change to a system that has worked for centuries. For without this change, the evils asserting themselves will surely destroy anything and everything Zelvad holds dear....

The two months after the battle at Star Sanctum hasn't really boded well for Zelvad mentally. The voice that has followed him since his awakening has all but driven him mad, and dreams of bloodshed and death in Chanclera, had all but made him abandon hope of a restful sleep...

That all changed again when the girl found him though.

When Bria was brought forth to Zelvad, she looked about as rough as Zelvad felt...and she drew the signs. Signs that only the Fangs would know.WHen she was asked of her journey and her knowledge of those symbols, she could only cry as she handed Zelvad her bag with the scrolls inside:

"Uncle Lot.....made me promise."

That's when it hit him. Cronus had finally completed what he set out to do. Lieroain is dead, and Zelvad is the only one left who can stop that madman....

Kin (family):Zelvad hasn't been in contact with his mother and father since he left Ascara and no doubt his visions, as well as his silence in communication, has caused worry on both sides.

All Tack’s clothing is plain and simply designed, with a focus placed on being able to fasten the garment easily. Anything that might cause him nuisance (cloaks, trinkets or other) is rarely worn unless there is a necessity for it.

Accessories:

Special Abilities:

He is an amateur when it comes to controlling the elements. Lighting a candle or stirring a pot of liquid would be the cap of his abilities. Instead, he holds a talent for Illusion magic, using his gift to tweak people’s perception of the world. It is a versatile art that he grew quite skilled in; age has not been a kind factor on his powers, however.

Although he should still have decades left of life, he is cursed with ‘Witsrot’.

It is a natural disease but one incurable even by the magic of healers. Slowly, it eats at the nerves and the brain, stealing both motor function and personality as the years progress. In its finale, it is unpleasantly fatal. Simple tasks are not as easy for him as they once were. Even conversation has become a burden, his lips feeling sluggish and uncoordinated. Keeping balance upon Apples can sometimes be as taxing to him as walking.

He enjoys that which is simultaneously pleasant to the senses and the emotions. With his muscles growing weaker and the days getting longer, this is often limited to the appreciation of art, calmed by the piquant nature of such creativity. Should he have been able to read, he might have been fascinated by literature but, alas, such skill escapes him.

Brief History:

Tack has no partner and neither does he have any children. He has never felt 'love' and begins to doubt that he ever will. With his mind and body slowly deviating from beyond his control, he cannot find the will to aim for more in the remaining years.

Persona: Her years of work have made her very goal oriented, driven by the job and little else. She doesn't like to take rabbit trails and her demeanor reflects that. She struggles with social interaction and people seeing her more than just a means to an end. That isn't to say that she can't carry on a conversation about art and philosophy but one would have to dig deep to pass the the front of just doing the job and finding how Claudia may truly feel about a subject.
Brief History:
A mercenary who has amassed some popularity for her skill set. Her career began simply with being employed as a spy to many men, her natural beauty and charm seducing secrets for a plethora of clients. These skills were recognized by a guild but knew she was capable of more than just whispering sweet nothings and batting her eyes. She was trained in the more brutal arts of a mercenary life and took to them well. However her training and job hunting didn't always go so perfectly. Claudia quickly learned that her looks enticed the weaker man to act on fleshly impulse and take advantage of her.

It was at this time she took to wearing full armor, and even covering her face. This new avenue sometimes brought into question how trusting she would be to complete her job but it also protected her from many of the lusty, wealthy, backstabbing clients. This new Claudia soon became quite popular even with the reputation of switching to whichever side was willing to pay more. Claudia became quite pleased knowing it was her work that made her so sought after and not just her physical attributes.

However all good things fade and tarnish in time and as the new generations of mercenaries came about work became a little harder to find. Claudia may have had some renown and seniority but the competition made it impossible to settle in one locale. She found herself traveling and finding smaller jobs here and there.

Appearance: Anzo has a very ruff appearance. Deep greens eyes with a light tan, which is surprising from all the traveling he does. His hair is naturally slick and black. He has big, bushy eyebrows that are in need of trimming. Accompanying the eyebrows is small burly goatee soul patch combo that is a scruffy as can one get it. He has a large nose with a thin bridge and the tip points slightly up with thin nostrils.

An average sized head leading down with a neck that has quite a few small scars varying in age. He has a large, fairly well built body, with a light gut jutting out. He has big hands covered in calluses and scars from hard work. Part of his left calf is missing from what looks like some creature took a bite out of his leg, with claw like scars around the bite.

Weapons: Words and information. Anzo loves to know anything and everything that is going on and can easily pick at people's sore spots, he has a silver that can cut like a knife. He can blackmail people into servitude if he really desired.

For when the situation calls for it, and his words or other resources are of no use he will draw his blade to fight. The blade has been in his family for a very short time, his father was a very successful trader that had the sword crafted with the family name in the scabbard.

Weapons: Brem's sword and recurve bow never leave his sight and he always has them at the ready. He keeps a a small dagger for various uses tucked in his right boot, and a seax knife tucked in his belt opposite the side of his sword.

Accessories: He carries everything he needs on his back. Brem is constantly travelling, ever the mountain nomad. Some of his belongings include food, small cooking utensils, hunting equipment, a blanket, emergency materials, healing salves, etc. He is very prepared but with only the basics, his weapons and a few small luxuries like his pipe and pan flute.

Special Abilities: Phenomenal eye-sight and expert tracking skills. He is able to communicate with animals and wield a small amount of elemental magic. Things like minor healing abilities, elemental magic for starting fires, manipulating breezes to better help his shots while hunting, etc. He took the time as a young man to learn the ways of an old healer in the village when Brem decided they were good skills to have in order to be able to reunite his family one day, though he is a bit superstitious of magic and the people who use it much better than he does.

Job: Hunter, trader, tracker, whatever he damn-well pleases.

Likes: Nature, animals, adventure, food, thrills, drinking, brawling, wandering, being free, occasional chaos, music, women, men, story-telling.

Dislikes: Being confined, those who disrespect nature, being used, most people.

Persona: Brem is a lover of life, but a very solitary man otherwise. Though he is a hunter, he has a great respect for nature and the circle of life. He never kills an animal unless he needs to use it for something like food, clothing, or to sell and trade in Norgard to make his meager living. He is sometimes hired to do some tracking, but not often and loves to travel alone. While he will spend money on "a night on the town" quite often, he is otherwise a drifter and prefers it that way. Brem loves to sing, play his pan flute and interact with nature. Bundled up in fur and confidence, this trill-seeking huntsman will often climb mountains and spend freezing nights in the woods just because he can. At his staggering 7-foot height and brawny build, few are willing to instigate a fight with Brem. Because he is used to spending so much time by himself, Brem is really the only person he truly cares about. In large groups, it doesn't matter what happens to the others, as long as everything goes the way he wants. If it doesn't, he is prone to sneak off without a second thought. Brem loves chaos, to a degree. If it directly involves him and he is the one under fire, he'll sneak his way out of it somehow. When Brem was a young boy, his brother and father mysteriously vanished, though not together. His younger brother, Talon, disappeared shortly Kaldor had gone missing. Brem had always suspected it was because Talon had gone looking for their father, but without any trace of either, it was hard to tell what really happened. Brem grew up seeking ways to sharpen his tracking skills in order to be able to someday piece his broken family together, promising his mother, Merida, that he would not fail her in his hunt for Talon and Kaldor. Now that he is in his twenties and has failed to recover a single clue, Brem spends most of his time drinking, hunting, and feeling as if his search is in vain. He can never allow himself to truly admit to his failure, however, feeling as if he would let his heartbroken mother down permanently if he does.

The youngest in the group, Issac's appearance has changed since he had first set out as a blundering squire for the legend of the Stallion. He's gotten a little taller since, and appears to be at least of 15 years of age due to his travels. He still looks very much a young boy who does not belong in stories like this one, but he did not choose to be in this story.

His armour was designed and made by sigard blacksmiths, a rare treat for any young boy who happens to travel alongside Sandor Cabot. Steel plate that has been weathered to be lighter, yet stronger. Issac has since had to make a few adjustments to accompany his growing figure, but the armour still fits very well. He also acquired a thick red cloak to keep warm, a gift from his travelling companions in effort to ease his grief.

Weapons: Winter's Star: A discarded blade Issac had found in the battlefield of the Star Sanctum. The size of the blade made it nearly impossible for Issac to properly use it, rendering the sword useless as it remains strapped to his back for the majority of his journey. His stubbornness has made it impossible for him to part with it, convinced that if he could wield a sword such as this one he may one day be as strong as his former master.

Memento: A much smaller blade in which Issac had kept since he had left his homeland. Quick and sharp, the blade is ideal for lightening fast strikes for the precise swordsman. The young boy still has not yet adapted to any type of swordplay, but a sharp sword is better then no sword. Instead the sword serves as a conductor for his erratic and spontaneous outbursts of magic. Having a better control on his magical abilities Issac can now, to a degree, target certain areas and strike with an electrifying burst of lightening.

Clothing: His clean cotton and leather ensembles have become worn and weathered. Issac looks very much the part of a seasoned traveller, yet does not feel he belongs.

Accessories: Due to the nature of his journey, Issac had little to no time to pack his things. Along the way, his processions have increasingly become smaller and smaller, keeping only what he needs while discarding anything that no longer serves him any purpose. He kept a handy pouch of gold incase any expenses need covering. A few pockets of herbs and ointments, medicine he has learned from his druid companions. He also found that Sandor had managed to sneak his winter book tales from the famed author J.G Wiser, a priceless handwritten masterpiece. The book remains to be Issac's more cherished possession.

Special Abilities: Learning his skill in lightening elemental magic. Hard to control and difficult to master without hurting those around him - even himself.

Job: Wizard in Training

Likes: Nature, Books, Magic, and tranquility.

Dislikes: Loud conflicts, destructive force, brutality, death, and bullies.

Persona: Perhaps the thing that changed most about Issac other then his appearance is his persona. He is very much young and lost, but tries his best to mask it by stubbornly pacing himself forward. He appears more confident, but in truth still has no idea what to do. Since the death of his mentor and hero Sandor, and the untimely passing of Savos, the young boy was forced to find resolution quickly in order to survive. He kept with the group, yet remained silent and emotionally out of reach by those who wished to comfort him. He is a lost child far away from home who desperately wishes he were instead a man with everything figured out.

His tragedy and confusion has also come to him at an odd time of his life. As a growing boy, his emotions and decisions are often difficult to predict and hard to handle. He sometimes can lash out to those who only wish to help. He can stubborn and loud, then suddenly understanding and peaceful. He's definitely a liability to the group at such a young age, yet no fool would deny that his potential could outshine even the powerful Sandor.

Brief History: Issac was a boy in the books. Growing up he had quickly gained an interest in legends and tales, of mysteries and magic… especially magic. As a younger boy he was cheerful and always occupied. His parents felt their son needed more discipline, things that could not be taught within the pages of a book but instead within the strict teachings of the Aerosia Guard. Issac's family was a wealthy one, noble in blood yet dishonest in trade. They bribed and paid to have the young Issac placed with the very best… it just happened that the very best happened to be the very best in the world.

With no training in sword or war, Issac was thrown into the monumental task in squiring for Sandor Cabot, the champion of Aerosia, the Stallion who walks. Sandor was a man with zero patience towards children, and Issac was very much a child when he had first started out. Travelling with the decorated captain, Issac was privileged enough to see much the world within two short years, learning as much as he could with the enormous knight through harsh lessons and early mornings. At first he hated Sandor, he hated his ego and he hated his arrogance. However, when one watches the Stallion fight, one can see past his ego… and when one watches Sandor fight so many times as Issac did, one can see through the Knight's armour into who the man really was. Sandor was the tragic warrior… poetic and perfect in every physical sense. Issac had learned his history through whispers and murmurs, but he did not truly feel he understood him until he spoke of his brother's favourite poem. Sandor's brother was killed when the knight was 8, and he silently dedicated every victory to his memory… Both Sandor and Issac were beginning to grow closer until the fateful day at the icy bridge, the day Sandor stayed behind so the group could continue their quest… the day Sandor died.

Then Sandor's kind old friend, Savos, passed from an infected wound sustained in previous battles. The aged knight regretted leaving Issac alone so far away from home - so far from anything familiar. Savos bid that Issac remain strong, that no matter what the boy's decision, that both he and Sandor would be proud of him. It was not enough. Despite Savos' best intentions, nothing could dispel Sandor's looming ghost from Issac's mind. The young boy felt that he needed to prove something, to show that he was not the Stallion's Squire simply because his parents were rich. He did not choose this story, but he is choosing to continue it.

He wanted everything to mean something…

He wanted to write his own passage in history…

But most of all, he wanted to make Sandor proud…

kingdom: The start point in the RP

Homeland: Norgard. Specifically the edges of Norgard, very near to Ascara kingdom where her tribe originally moved.

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Dark skin, shoulder length dreadlocks, thick type.
She has these dreadlocks tied to the back of her head. Tied insanely tightly in a dread locked bow which looks like there's a snake coming out the back of his head.

The pull of the hair makes it look as though she has a huge forehead, which suites well because when she'd in a good mood she uses ceremonial paints on her face as a sign of her sense of pride.

She is tall, very tall even for her people ranging under two meters in height.

She has fairly tight and firm, almost square facial features. Her neck is long, her shoulders, slender and arced.

Her figure is thin, almost gangly but not at all sickly. This is just what her body looks like at it's physical fittest.

As far a features such as curves or the typical woman's hour glass figure, all of that was lost in the name of survival.

Weapons:

She honestly shifts through weapons and has absolutely no weapon training outside of using her main weapon which has no formal name outside of the name she gives it. Which is cleaver.

On the outside it's simply a necklace. Two silver cords about two millimetres thick held together by a single bone which splits in two if you twist it together in the right way. Held together they form a very safe and comfortable grips in which best uses to wrap around an enemies neck and throttles them to death with. Which is the limit of her weapons training.

Clothing:

When she is working she wears very simple garbs made of the finest furs of her people. She dresses in these garbs for simplistic as they are very easy to unhook in case she is needed to use her ability.

On more relaxed occasions she wears a two piece dress the first a form fitting dark orange skirt and a white poncho typo top which is essentially a scarf set around her neck like a necklace that drapes down over her chest. Most women and men don't wear much more over their chests but for groups of people uncomfortable she will add a black body vest.

The souls of her feet are dark, almost perminately black and are tough enough to walk through rock and glass so she's always barefoot.

Accessories:

She had six earings, which are tied to twelve piercings. Three rings on each ear. The rings themselves are more like a Beaded strings. Black Beads, Yellow beads and green beads each end of the string tied to a piercing.
On special occasions where the risk isn't there she will even extend the strings so the go around her face.



Special Abilities:

She and the adults of her clan have the ability to taken in natural elements and meld their flesh and bone to the element allowing them to sink into it. Bringing new life to terms like sand ninja.

The more fluid the element the more difficult the spell work, the more likely the 'kick back' of the ability.

With her ability she can literally walk through walls.

Nkuli is a bit of an enigma even to herself.
She's incredibly proud and yet at the same time it's almost entirely limited her sense of culture.
Out side of her sense of cultural pride she's a survivalist. So in a fight or flight situation she's the first one out of there. She likes to be in control but doesn’t mind giving control to someone she trusts enough to feel safe around.
She's a very up and down person sometimes she'll be airy and distracted and other times she's completely focused and irritable.


Brief History:

Nkuli is the last born of nine children.
She of the umbaleki tribe a druid clan that found their art in the borders of the Ascara kingdom.
But they were unwelcome guests in that land so their people moved and adapted on these lands until their very art of conjuring and their union with nature rotated with survival and moving through the Ascara without being caught and without being hunted but more and more people were caught. Their magic not being without limit they faltered one by one until the need to escape their tribe's very extinction led them to Norgard where they find refuge upon it's beaches.
Being the last born of her family she never had much responsibility and grew up living a somewhat happy and playful existence until the assassination of her first brother. the brother she was closest to.
It shattered most of her life as the dynamic of their family changed.
Their tribe has never found safe ground trying to live free on their own now.

She had six brothers three of which are deceased and one missing while the other two are supporting the family doing what mercenary work they can.
She has two sisters who have stayed in the clan and are married and when they're not pumping out babies help feed and support the clan.

Appearance: A change in features have been duly noted in Devon's physique and visage. Ever since his visit into the Dragon's Temple his skin colour began to fade into an unhealthy pale tone like the whites of a dying tree. His eyes have since gone white after his confrontation with Sandor, cold with hate and loose with sanity. Having lost considerable weight, Devon long abandoned his travel furs for finer silks and clothes, dressing more like a prince then a hunter.
Instead of a confident malice, Devon's new expressions wallow in uncertain terror - adrift with questionable fear and desperate cruelty. His hair has blackened, losing its groomed presence in exchange for a more thread-like casque. He appears weaker, yet the exact opposite has happened.

Weapons:
Dragon's Point: An enormous longbow carved from a petrified tree, hardened by a dragon's breath. Not precisely accurate due to the weight of the large harpoon-like arrows it launches, but able to puncture through many of today's hardened armour.

Wooden Recurve: Another bow, stringed with finer threads to lessen the wobble which provides more accuracy. Useful in the hands of any novice, deadly in the hands of a master. The damage then depends on the type of arrow used.

Throwing knives: An uncountable amount of throwable daggers are hidden under Devon's fine wares. Has placed a knife in every thinkable area deemed necessary without sacrificing movement.

Accessories: Snow: A white wolf, serves as a hunting companion and an excellent tracker.

Job: Successor and Heir to the Everfront Castle.

Likes: Soft fabrics and professionally tailored clothes. Women. Dogs and wolves. Hunting. Torture. Obedience. Revenge.

Dislikes: Over confident men, stupid women. Righteous warriors, pleads for mercy.

Persona: Devon can be a splendid polite young man. When in front of noble born such as himself, he is kind and gentle. Speaks wonderfully and can convince anyone of anything. Enjoys telling tales of capturing foul criminals who were a danger to his realm.

However, when he's within his own land and his own walls, Devon enjoys playing games. His favourite game includes releasing prisoners into the wild for hunting, then removing their limbs bit by bit. It matters not if the prisoners are innocent or guilty, he only cares about the hunt they'll give him. His silver tongue was the only reason his actions remain hidden from other lands. Now he is beginning to lose grasp on his mind, slowly deteriorating as his newfound abilities remain uncontrolled.

Brief History: Born with noble blood does not always mean born innocent. Inflicting pain was something that always fascinating to the young boy. Every kitten and puppy he's ever gotten has gotten mysteriously mangled or butchered, but no one expected the innocent young boy for these crimes.

Devon's father however, sharing his son's interest in punishment, taught his son about punishment towards their enemies and it's many benefits. He also taught his son that it was heavily frowned upon, that the world was blind to it's wild nature. Devon was raised, witnessing torture and executions, accompanied by his father who whispered sweet tales of riches in his ear. This made torture a positive outcome in the young boy's mind... and he found a "sociably acceptable" method of slaughter... hunting.

He was a brilliant hunter. Sharp eyes, ears, and a keen smell made him stand out from his young peers. He could track down an animal for days and return with a fabulous feast of game. It was not until a prisoner escaped that he found a thrill in hunting humans. Every so often, a prisoner in the dungeon would find his cell unlocked with the halls empty, a false sense of hope for escape until Devon leads the hunting party to drag them back screaming. Every so often one would escape for months, disappearing into neighbouring lands to hide for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately Devon loves to travel... and Devon never forgets a face.

An example would be the time he traveled south to meet a noble hosted tournament. There was a fantastic feast, and many were invited and many more worked to prepare the celebration. One of the servers, a young woman, was serving drinks to the crowd. It was ten years since she escaped Devon's hunt, changing her name, hair and aged ten years since. It did not matter, Devon immediately knew her. It did not satisfy him to capture her there and then... because he could have easily have done it. He had her followed to her house where she was married with two kids. He came at night when they were sleeping, killing the husband first while making her watch as he placed the children in sacks, then slamming them against the stone wall. She died two months later back in Devon's cold dungeon, satisfied with his fine work.

He was hired by the former Mad Queen of Norgard to hunt a group of would-be traitors accused of treason, the Hunter left with gusto and hopes of adding to his family name and titles. With the traitors evading him with druidic magic, Devon thought to even the turn the tables by acquiring an army of Mountain Clansmen - hardened warriors steeped in religious practice over the Dragon Goddesses. Devon, through deception and theatricality, was able to convince the clans for a short while that he was their prophetic hero. This granted him access to their most sacred temple, a temple left untouched since days long forgotten… left untouched for a reason.

Devon's discoveries within this temple followed him out and seeped in his skin and bone. Armed with a new mysterious power his erratic control over fire has shown its ferocity by felling the mightiest warrior, Sandor Cabot. The flames proved unnatural and elusive in control, making it difficult for any straight forward attack to be sought.

As his abilities grew, Devon's mind began to crack. A mystery unto itself, no one knows what the seasoned hunter experienced within the Dragon's Temple… no one except Devon and the one whom he had stole his power from.

With no Queen to return to, the demonic hunter now sets his eyes on the group that has evaded him for too long. No prize does he seek, no treasure does he covet. Only blood does wish… Only death does he bestow…

It'd be a far stretch to have Jask find a body he wasn't looking for, in a place that is nearly impossible to find, at a bottom of a seemingly bottomless pit in the aforementioned nearly impossible to find place, to pluck from one of hundreds of bodies. I'd put my bets on "Sandor stayin' dead" for this one.

She is a very tall woman (about 172 CM) with blue eyes and bright red hair that reached below her hips. In my mind I pictured her to look generally like this:

Clothing:
She is mostly dressed in armor, like the type I showed in the picture. She tends to go for soft colors such as white and lilac.

Accessories:
her weapon; Impressive looking azure bladed spear she carries around with her. Aside of that, trained in the art of healing and writing she tends to carry with her scrolls, bandages, ink, papers and the like. (Think of small things that can help in time of need... that's pretty much the idea).

Special Abilities:

Minor healing- She has trained in the past two months to improve her lacking healing abilities. They do not reach the level of a professional healer, but can help mending simple surface wounds.

Blinding- The same light that was driven from the outer space that the order liked to refer to as a "divine" energy, can now be channeled into a fist of light that can, in a close range battle, blind the enemy temporarily.

Blink strikes- Using the same light can speed up her limbs to attack few times with her fists or weapon (more efficient with bear hands). To untrained eye it looks like she is just striking once, but in fact she can raises the number of attacks to 7 impacts at one time. Aside of that she can also use this to increase her speed and run over a short distance to land a blow.

Illumination- Can use the "Light" to form a strong final attack in the shape of lightning. Must be charged first.

Dislikes: Destruction, war, vulgar men.

Persona: cold and calculated. She can get annoyed with things or people pretty fast but she won't be tricked into fighting for nothing. She is very wise and has a strong maternal senses. When someone earns her trust it is a sign of true important and special individual in her life.


Brief History:

Raised as a Paladin, Helena learned from early age the art of war and healing. She had passed difficult and rough trainings to become what she is today and as part of the holy order she took the vow of forever being loyal to her supervisors and the god. She lost her father in the last war during her training and stopped developing holy powers ever since. Her mother had it worse as she grow mentally ill.

Recent events took emotional toll upon her body and heart. Finding out that her mother was used as a demonic host, and learning that her own father made a pact with Emonalach were not easy news to bear.

Training along with Zelvad for the passing two months, allowed her to improve some dormant skills. (see above for more information).

It looks like her power will continue to bloom and she wonders between herself if they belong to her mother's heritage from the mystical humans of Chanclera, or... are they in truth... a result of the evil pact with Emonalach...

Homeland: Esgares

Gender: Male

Appearance: A young man with shoulder length dark brown hair, and amber eyes. Around five foot five, very light in weight. Pale skin, and a face usually bearing a very pleasant, content expression. Like a man whom already has everything he could possibly want.

Weapons: A finely crafted cane, with a release that pulls out into an equally as finely crafted rapier.

Clothing: I don't like posting pictures, but honestly, it would take way too much effort to describe what I can honestly say looks pretty much, in my head, like the gear that Soren wore in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. So I'm just going to post this with a few amendments.

Now, from the waist down. That funky skirt-like robe and sandals? Yeah, fuck that. Pants of a nature that would match the robe top, and fucking travelers boots. That's more masculine. Fixes the one thing I always disliked about Soren's character design.

Accessories: While you can't really call it as accessory so much as a belonging, but he travels via horse and a small cart, proportioned to fit him and his supplies. By supplies I mean trail rations, and a few chests full of herbs and other supplies for mixing medicines and salves, along with a few books full of his notes and recipes for said brews.

Special Abilities:

Advanced Undead: While he can use the average amount of magic pumped into an corpse to raise it, like most do, he can also do a more archaic form of necromancy, mixed with his knowledge of healing magics, and study of the human body, which allows him to expend more power, and instead of raising a whole legion of mindless flesh devourers, kick start the muscle memory sectors of the brain.

It takes more magic to accomplish, and more concentration to sustain, but can potentially raise a small few more recently deceased skilled individuals. They wouldn't be able to completely think for themselves. They're still undead. But with the capability to use those instincts and muscle maneuvers they were used to doing in life, they'd be able to take up weapons, effectively fighting with tools instead of bare hands and teeth.

Certain, more intricate things mind you are impossible still. Raising a mage would be useless, because speech would likely still be an impossibility, coming out as guttural grunts, no matter how used to the somatic aspects of casting the muscles may be. A master swordsman would still be able to fight, but his movements would still be more clumsy, and reactions slower than they were in life.

And of course, a corpse is still a corpse. The muscular restrictions would be null, therefore making it more of a battle of concentration for Faieth, needing to focus on restraining the movements actively, lest they literally strain the muscles, therefore causing the body to very quickly deteriorate.

Flesh Knitting: Another ability inspired by his days in the school of healing. Not as immediately effective as actual healing magics, but costing less magic to use, Flesh Knitting is an art most would consider a less effective substitute to the arts of an actual healer. None the less, still useful in the aftermath of a large fight, Flesh Knitting is done by simply using the body's own life energy, manipulating it to rapidly produce the effect of natural healing. Blood pumps faster, carrying an incredible amount of platelets to the wound being worked on. Those platelets then congeal rapidly into a scab, at which point the flesh begins to quickly knit itself back together, thus why the practice is called Flesh Knitting.

As said, it's a less than satisfactory substitute to a healer, who's abilities are nearly immediate, in even the most grievous cases. Flesh Knitting is almost as slow as it is painful, being that the wound goes through all the stages of healing in a short amount of time. A slash from a knife, depending on the severity can take up an a half hour to heal. As such a puncture from an arrow can take anywhere from an hour to six hours to mend. Some documented cases of knitting a slash from a heavy blade, such as a bastard sword or broadsword have been noted to take multiple days of treatment, with periodic breaks only to sleep and eat. As such, since the healing is nearly completely natural, the wounds do scar in many cases; another peril actual healing magic avoids in most cases.

Knitters can in fact control their own energies better than that of others, making the healing process take half the time, but twice as painful when done on ones self.

Disruption: The focus of necromantic energies into points on the body. The grip of these necrotic energies moving into the zone of life energies cancels each other out. Therefore, when this energy is thrust into certain point on the body (Similar to the Hindi Chakras. Basically Spiritual Nerve Endings.), the necrotic energy dissipates, as does the life energy. Mostly a temporary fix to a likely deadly problem, this method of combat is used more over to stun an opponent, rather than kill them. Decrease ones maneuverability, slow their reaction time, weaken the muscles. A lethal dose can however be administered, but it is very unlikely, because of how quickly the body would solve the disruption. This is however untrue in the circumstance of undead. Being that they themselves have no true, sustaining life force, the disruptions are permanent, making this a wise choice when up against other necromancers.

Job: Necromancer, with an side profession of Apothecary/Traveling Doctor

Likes: Peace, helping the less fortunate, seeing the good in others show through.

Dislikes: Violence, Hate, Oppression.

Persona: Kind and benevolent, Faieth shudders at the thought of wronging anyone. One to avoid stepping on the toes of others, he tends to shy away from people in order to avoid conflict, especially when it comes to his field of study, which tends to have a bad name among the general populace whom he assumes believe he's just some horrible defiler of the natural order of life. He's a giver to the deepest recesses of his soul, willing to stick his neck out for pretty much anyone in a bad situation. While he does have an incredible aversion to violence, when a fight is inevitable, he'll always take the high route and try and intervene, attempting to resolve the conflict with words. If all else fails, he'd not one to inject himself into the fray unless a life is on the line, in which case, he'll try and step in and close the conflict in the most direct, and hopefully nonlethal, way possible. If a life need be taken, he's not likely to hesitate, but he's likely to beat himself up over ending a human life for a very long time.

Brief History: Faieth didn't used to be Faieth. Born Zale Sylasan to an impoverished family in the slums of Esgares' port town of Holonia. Poor, the Sylasans hammered out a simple commoner's life, trying their hardest to provide for their son. This lifestyle of making ends meet went on for the better part of ten years, when Zale's mother fell acutely ill, and his father followed suit shortly after. In the course of one month, Zale lost both of his parents.

For the next two years after that, Zale, somehow not contracting the disease himself, Zale, now an orphan, took to the streets, picking garbage and stealing to get by. And then one day, his luck turned with one night's theft. He was caught. Hand in the pocket of a rather wealthy looking robed man. The fear jolting through him caused an emotional spike, and as the man began to reprimand him, he noticed something that, at the time, didn't make a bit of sense to Zale. None the less, the men gave him an offer no sane orphan could refuse.

And before he knew it, he was half way to Logres. Once there, he found himself enrolled in a mage's academy, learning the arts of casting. Two years passed by as he learned all he could in the studies of magic before finding a real talent. His grasp of healing magic was far better than anything he'd been learning thus far. And therefore, he swapped specializations to the healing arts. Five years of training with healers led to a grand understand of the arts of healing, but deep down, it didn't fulfill Zale's needs. Still aching from the loss of his family, he attempted to apply those healing arts he'd delved to the true resurrection of a human being.

With all his studies, he couldn't figure out a solid method of of truly reviving a human being with healing arts alone. After another two years of study, he conceded to the fact that, through healing arts alone, resurrection was impossible. Determined to accomplish his goals, he finally turned to necromancy.

Another four years later, being trained under a highly reputable necromancer, shunned by the academy, and living among the closest thing he'd had to a family in over ten years, he was beginning to get an incredible grasp on necromancy. His tutor, Iqueris Gran, decided that it was high time to set his plan, the entire reason he'd taken an apprentice, let alone five, in the first place, into motion. Zale, a kind gentle individual by nature was horrified by his instructor's disturbed goal. In slaughtering the nearby villages, and raising their citizens as an army, they could begin taking more and more land for their own, and eventually overthrow the entire country.

Zale, mortified, went along with is until that evening, then fled the compound. He rushed to the nearest village, and warned the ruling force, who prepared to repel the attack.

The next night, the assault was quelled. The remaining four apprentices were all killed within the first five minutes of the combat, and Iqueris, seeing his plan so easily dismantled by his top apprentice, fled.

Zale, again without any ties, having lost his fellow apprentices in the attack, and being banished from the academy, decided that it would be better of him to simply change his name, begin training of his own accord, and just go where he could be of help.

And that's what brings him to Norgard.

Weapons: Skilled in the use of Dirks and a bow. Can wield a sword if need be.

Clothing: Raven is usually clothed in simple clothing, long gowns or a hooded cloak worn over leather skins.

Accessories: A silver amulet with a leaf on it, representing her connection with the earth and it's elements.


Special Abilities: Raven twin: Raven can communicate telepathically with the raven and other creatures if she focuses enough. Her companion raven is called Reyes. She uses the ravens to be her eyes and “see” for her what is not within her view.


Vine Control: Raven has mastered the art of controlling the vines of the forest to be at her command with simple commands that they respond to. Like most druids she can control some of natures elements but hasn't mastered them all.

Job: Druid / Oracle of Fire

Likes: Raven likes being connected to nature and surrounding herself in the tranquility of the forest. Anything natural is her friend. She prefers the simple things that the earth so willingly provides.

Dislikes: Loud and busy places.

Persona: Soft spoken by nature and tends to keep to herself but is very friendly when approached by others. Has a low tolerance for those who do not respect nature. While she is peace loving by nature, she is loyal to her friends and loved ones and will move heaven and earth to protect them.

Brief History: Raven was born into the Anstruther family, an ancient order of bards who belonged to the druid class. Her parents longed for a simpler life for themselves, and for their daughter and moved from the lands of Norgard to the forests of Chanclera where her mother and father taught her the ways and secrets of the druids.

After having saved Arjak al' Andunn from the shadows, her path would take her on an incredible journey into the unknown, and also to her homelands of Norgard. It was only after having obtained passage on Raphael Sinclairs ship that they had managed to make the trip across the vast ocean and proceed to her homeland. During the journey Ciara learned much about herself and the new friends and allies that she traveled with. And she would come to not only learn that she was the Oracle of Fire, but also that despite the differences she at first thought her and Arjak to have, she not only came to know him but she'd come to love him with a fierceness unlike she'd ever thought possible.

Little did she know that when she left Chanclera she would ultimately be claimed by Arjak to be his bride, and queen, a title she would gladly lay down her life for as she walked the path beside her new husband.

Kin (family): Raven’s father is Dehueune meaning “divine one’ and her Mother is Anwyl, meaning “beloved”. When Ciara was born, there was a raven outside of the window of their abode, thus her parents gifted her with the name Ciara, meaning "Raven". Raven no longer lives with her parents, but they are an important part of her life, and she brings them much comfort as she is their only true child although they consider many children of the earth to be their own.

Appearance: Baxter is dark skinned with shoulder-length red hair. He has a natural side smile and an aquiline nose. Over the years, he’s gained a good amount of upper body strength from carting around a bunch of junk all day. He has a lanky sort of figure with a naturally thin build, and he stands at average height.

Weapons: Baxter’s favorite weapon is a pair of fine daggers tucked safely away in his coat. The handles are silver with varying patterns and big, colorful jewels of red, green, and blue. They’re used quite often, given that the road can be quite a dangerous place, so he ritualistically polishes and sharpens them. He’s sworn to never sell them, but deep down he’d probably sell them for just the right price.

Jask’s Bone Dagger- A necromancer’s dagger, handed to Baxter as if out of nowhere. He’s currently in possession of the weapon but has no idea how to use it, nor does he have any desire to learn.

Clothing: He wears relatively plain clothes, usually brown in color, and on occasion will sport the red and white stripes befitting of a trader. Baxter has lost some of the gaudy trinkets over the course of the adventure (most of which were in his cart left in Aerosia), but still sports a healthy chunk of knick-knacks on his person. Baxter always wears a leather, fingerless glove on his left hand adorned with some kind of symbols. He still wears a huge brown coat.

Accessories:

Backpack- Still stuffed full of useless junk.

Baxter only has been carrying two magically functioning items for years:

Amulet of Fire- A gaudy garnet amulet around his neck. With it, he can conjure up a small fire about the size of a fist. However, it has the tendency to “jam up,” in which it’ll only putz out a small fire or nothing at all. In such events, if Baxter shakes or yells at it enough, sometimes it’ll obey. He’s yet to quite figure out what triggers its jams.

Leather Glove- Baxter doesn’t quite know what else to call this thing, but he always wears a leather glove on his left hand with some strange, unknown symbols. It’s one of his most prized possessions. The glove allows Baxter to mesmerize someone weak-minded for a mere split second. Many are able to recover from this quickly, but that split second has meant life and death with “stupid thug run-ins.” They’re either left with a disoriented feeling allowing Baxter the time to run away, or it gives him just enough time to evade close attacks. However, since he has no idea how to properly use the glove, it often jams like the amulet (not nearly as often), but it’s also difficult for him to find people weak-minded enough for him to use it.

Special Abilities: He does not have any magical abilities of the sort, nor is he particularly street smart. His best ability would be his sheer luck, though he has two weak magical items that have gotten him out of some bad jams.

Job: Trader

Likes: Alchemy, money, junk (preferably other’s junk), trinkets, travelling, “poor” people (out of sheer fascination).

Dislikes: Itchy clothes, bad trades, bad trading days, commitment, thugs, mercenaries, death, necromancy, responsibility.

Persona: Baxter has always been an over privileged and immature individual, but as of late his happy-go-lucky attitude has been slapped in the face by the journey he was semi-forced into taking. Baxter has been realizing that his careless antics are more damaging than amusing, but has no faith in his ability for redemption. He never means to be malicious, but he has the natural instinct to be selfish and only care for his own well being. Thus far, Baxter has begun to see through his own delusions by watching everyone around him commit far greater acts than he ever thought were possible.

However, he is still quite talkative and easily excitable. He can seem a bit slow at times, especially when trying to think up a response to a question. He is of average intelligence coupled with a lucky streak that is starting to run out. Baxter also has the tendency to be a bit of a playboy, though he’s not an overt womanizer unless the situation calls for it (if he thinks he can get another good sale out of a quick flirt). Having been born in Sigard, he gained a fascination for alchemy that quickly turned into an overall fascination with magic. This fascination has turned into fear, especially from his encounters with necromancers.

Brief History: Baxter grew up in high society, as many stories go. He grew up a whimsical, spoiled, and only child. His family traveled often as well, in which he developed his love of collecting all sorts of expensive trinkets, preferably those imbued with magic. He became quite the playboy in his later years, though his parents often pressured him into settling down and getting married so they could continue to pass on their bloodline. The prospect of having a steady relationship was more than daunting, but he managed to snag himself a very proper wife at the age of nineteen, to his parents’ joy and to his utter dismay.

It wasn’t long before the married life tugged at his nerves. In a fit of a breakdown and panic, Baxter left it all behind in the middle of the night: his family, his wife, and an upcoming child. The move was hardly practical, and upon retrospect he had no real way to protect himself and nowhere to go. He had plenty of money though, and spent a good portion of this time hoping around from inn to inn.

Baxter had never handled his own money however, and often wasted it on expensive trinkets that he’d carry around in a huge bag. When his back began to break due to the sheer weight, he bought himself a cart and began filling it with all sorts of trinkets and magical assortments. In a series of accidental events, he ended up selling quite a few of these, and found it to be a decent sort of income, especially when he… stretched the truth a bit about some stuff. Voodoo and hoodoo wasn’t all that difficult to pawn off on unsuspecting people.

Eventually, Baxter became entangled with mercenaries in which he’d sneak contraband through checkpoints with his trader’s cart. Though gullible, ignorant, and easy to manipulate, Baxter ended up being a terrible liability. Not only did he often destroy their equipment with general clumsiness but he stole from them whenever he could under the pretense that he was entitled to their things as a fellow mercenary. His ability to bluff his way through checkpoints was hardly worth keeping him around when there were others far more capable than him anyways, and it was only by the good graces of a particular individual within the clan that Baxter escaped unscathed.

Baxter then got by as a travelling trader, selling anything and everything he could to make a living. Baxter quite enjoyed this simple life, until he was unexpectedly teleported to Aerosia by a certain Oracle of Earth. He hardly understood the importance of the mission, but he accepted the challenge without much of a thought.

The journey ended up being far more than he anticipated. Surrounded by individuals with great might and fantastical abilities, Baxter’s usual spark began to fizzle out. He couldn’t even begin to think within the heat of battle to use his amulet or glove to get out of binds. Instead, he hid and ran whenever possible, cowering in the corner as was his nature. At odds with the supernatural, Baxter has begun to question his existence. In a world filled with unimaginable power, he feels himself to be disposable, petty, useless. His biggest regret has been leaving his family behind, but he’s only just begun to realize this.

Clothing: Should subject "VIR" go missing, he can be found sticking out like a sore thumb as he will be dressed fancily(evidient by our most recent image of the subject), in the worst and most crowded areas of where he finds to take rest at. Taverns and Inn's should be searched first.

Accessories: One thing that will never change about VIR's outfit, should it ever, are the goggles (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b216/hero2/RP/VIRgoggles.jpg) around his neck. They have been in VIR's possession since he was found and enrolled into the project. They seem to hold some deep sentimental value to him since everyone who has tried to remove them from his person without his permission has not only failed, but has suffered some sort of physical or mental damage of varying degrees.




VIR is especially good with magics involving the wind, air, and the like. He seems to have picked up some affinity for fire aswell. Through recent studies and experiments, we've been able to draw out more of VIR's fire magicks. With this amazing progress woven together with already established techniques, subject VIR has truly become a force not to be taken lightly.

Wind's Whispers
Through further development of his abilies, VIR has grown the ability to "throw" his voice across air currents to where he pleases. Mostly used as a diversionary tactic when stealth is necessary.

Wind's Freedom
Should long-range capabilities be needed, VIR can shoot/throw objects to meet his target from further away than normal by removing the air friction caused by solid masses moving through the air. On the downside, VIR has to be the one to throw it in order for the effect to occur. On the opposing spectrum he can add friction to an incoming projectile, slowing its speed and in some cases alter its course. It will not stop the object completely though.

It seems he can also reduce the friction on his own person while moving, greatly increasing his manuverabiltiy. Research has already been put into effect on how to further expand this ability, including working to remove the two blind spots we have discovered during various sparring sessions.

Addendum:
Through the months since VIR's return from Norgard, we have made this ability more efficent than we could have possibly dreamed. Not only can VIR now throw a maximum of three objects while still gaining the desired effect, but we have identified and removed the blind spot in the middle of his back. We need more research to exactly pinpoint the second blind spot, though we do believe it is somewhere around the lower back area.

Twister's Fury
When in close combat, VIR can unleash a powerful gale from his blade when his magic is channeled through it. The air pressure from this attack has destroyed any wooden target set against him and warped any iron or steel in his way. He needs mere seconds on one target, but will need at least ten seconds time to fully charge his attack and hit all targets in his path with devastating accuracy.

Addendum:
With the adaptation of our extensive research on the language of the Ancients, we've managed to knock the time for a full charge down by two seconds by letting VIR create a phrase and repeat it while focusing on his charge. Any basic use of this attack can now trigger at VIR's will when he swings his sword.

Heat Strike
Contrary to his usual style of swordplay and long distance attacks, VIR has taken a liking to close quarters combat. When asked why, he decided to show us by thrusting a knife hand strike into a practice dummy's chest, causing the chest to catch fire. He explained that it seemed to be the only way to quickly bring out his new power, thus giving him a new found weapon to efficiently wield in battle. Though according to VIR, it can only be done with an open handed strike.

VIR also asked us after discovering his new found abilities to modify his sword to add a heat resistant barrel into the flat of the blade up to the point that the sword folds in. After we did such, he again demonstrated an answer to our questions by focusing his magic into a pellet of fire that was launched out of the barrel to an incredible dsitance with the help of his wind magic. When asked how he performed such a feat, he simply looked at us, smiled, and walked away. Though we have now discovered through constant discussions with VIR on the subject, that he is only capable of two shots in one day due to the amount of magic needed to keep the wind from blowing out the fire.


Job: Elemental Warrior(Affinity to wind, with some minor fire abilities)

Likes: Subject "VIR" has grown particularly fond of Sigard's open markets and crowded areas in general, as well as watching how people react to his words when he does speak. Oddly enough, this speaks to his constant need to be around people, regardless of where his assignments take him.

Dislikes: Failure in his missions is unacceptable to VIR. Plus as noted earlier, VIR has an extreme distaste towards people trying to touch or take his goggles without his permission.

Persona: VIR's approach towards people and life is almost cat-like in its methodical, yet fickle nature. He'll watch from a distance for hours and sometimes even days before even considering approaching the object or person in question. VIR describes his conversation tactics as "just making words". Though in-depth studies of his psyche have shown that his approach is quite well planned for someone who is borderline sociopathic, though that's only because he still mingles with people and has some loose sense of a moral code.
Frequent check-ins are recommended to insure this behavior is continued.

Addendum:
Despite his sudden sporadic actions after his return from Norgard, VIR seems still willing and able to help further the project and its goals "for the good of Sigard and its citizens" as he put it. Increased studies in the arcane, as well as his requested increase in his training and experiments are leading us closer and closer to the ideal mixture of magic and steel that was envisioned at the start of the project. His physical and spiritual states are peak...though his mind and this recent spur of emotions are starting to show signs of a subject going rouge. Suggestion that he be watched at all times is highly advised.


Brief History:

VIR's birth was pivotal as his mother's death was a grace to our funding. Since a good portion of her families' guild's funds went into funding Sigard's scientific endeavors, (Classified)'s death caused her guild to, instead of disassociate themselves with our research, completely dedicate the guild to funding our research "in her memory" as they said. With a boost in funding, we pressed deeper into the "elemental warrior" project than we could have ever dreamed. Five years later, the guild approached us with VIR and informed us that he showed magical potential and wanted our help to teach him how to use his power for the good of Sigard, and for the good of the project. Since then VIR has loyally served the interests of his mother's guild and our project, if not Sigard as a whole. During his tutelage, his skills were especially exemplary in bladed combat and thrown weapons, all while honing his magical crafts as well.

Addendum:
Since returning from Norgard, VIR has exhibited some very odd behavior. From covering every book we have conerning the human mind and emotion, to suddenly taking an interest in hand to hand, to sitting in the infirmary watching over Joseph's comatose state, to making every attempt to avoid No.Vii as if he was death incarnate.

Brief History: Like most of the children that were taken to the project of "Elemental warriors", she was picked up/Found when she was an infant. Aside of a last name she knows nothing about her past.

The project fits the children together in teams of two (like VIR and No.Vii) for missions and various practice tests and she was assigned from early age to team up with Joseph. She always saw him as something more than brother, but they were never really trained in the ways of the real world, and emotions and other feelings, experience and ideas of how life should have been were foreign to her and so could never tell him how she felt.

One night a year ago Joseph disappeared and left her bitter and alone, unable to trust another person. She swore to kill him, unless given a good reason. The organization led by the mysterious Councillor Fergal and Lord Jared (http://role-player.net/forum/group.php?discussionid=220&do=discuss) used this fact well to get the rest of the warriors against other renegades and betrayers to the organization.

I'm going to have to twist Leonie's history a bit and say that she was headed towards Norgard, not away. Which will probably change her appearance and whatnot, too. But we'll see.

Dravon is an older gentleman, but while he used to have a clean-shaven appearance with slicked-back hair that was between silver and black, his hair has now turned all white, due to his fateful encounter with the demon general known as Lady Rose. At full height, he stands a stately six feet tall, but both his frame and height have diminished since his weakening at the hands of the Demoness and he now leans upon a cane or staff almost constantly to hold his frailer body up. His eyes used to be dark, glittering in the shadows, but now they are very clearly a paler green.

Weapons: He carries an inscribed dagger with twin serpents coiled around the hilt. It was custom designed by him, and it is rumored to be enchanted with magic. He used this dagger to kill Lady Rose in a fight for his life. It is, and always has been, something of a last resort for Dravon.

In addition to this, Shylock now possesses the legendary Rod of the Thirteen Trader Lords; a mythical artifact that he reconstructed and charged with the power of the Pillars of the Star Sanctum in Norgard. This item therefore contains within it immeasurable power. It is rumored that its primary purpose is to summon the largest creature the World of the seven kingdoms has ever known: the Leviathan. What other powers this Rod possesses is unknown, perhaps even to Dravon himself.

Clothing: Dravon is a Merchant Lord--he owns considerable market share in what happens in Sigard, and that means his cartel/organization, known as "The Scales", has its fingers in quite a few resources and services, legal or otherwise. So it fits that he wears his wealth openly and fashionably, in the finest silks and designs money can buy. He favors dark colors, and typically arrays himself in gold and black, with assorted chains dangling from other attachments (pocket watches, clasps, broaches, etc). His "Trader colors" are born aloft on a standard that he has carried around by miserable looking little wretch of a goblin by the name of Dreeg.

Accessories: He has rings, necklaces, pendants, fancy hats, fashionable clothes, and all sorts of little embellishments and embroidered garments. He looks like a rich merchant, and so he is, though his appearance has diminished since his encounter with Lady Rose, and the trials and tribulations of his time in Norgard.

He also possesses one of the last remaining copies of the fabled Merchant's Codex.

Special Abilities: He's got a silver tongue, and he knows how to use it. Dravon's power is in his intellect, words and wealth. These weapons alone have made him a formidable opponent to any who stand in his way, whether they are other merchants, or more fearsome entities.

Where others will try to beat you with raw magical power, ferocious physical attacks, and cunning tactics, facing Shylock is like fighting the elements. The man can easily employ and marshal legions of mercenaries with his vast capital and has a thousand eyes and ears feeding him information and sending it forth into the world.

To face the Merchant Lord of the Scales is to face an opponent who is impossible to ambush, and who will throw hundreds of obstacles in your way just to watch you grow tired before he calmly and calculatingly puts you down. It is to face an old man who fears nothing, makes his moves with daunting patience, knows everyone has a price, and will pay anything to find your weakness and exploit it ruthlessly.

Underestimate him at your own risk.

Job: Trader (Merchant Lord)

Likes: Money, of course, but recent moves by Dravon show a seemingly unquenchable thirst for power as well.

Dislikes: Tax Collectors, cheap customers, demons, rival merchants and anyone who stands in the way of his growing choke-hold on the World's markets and economy.

Persona: Dravon is all business; quite literally. The man is like a fine wine, growing ever richer with age; and he has all the capabilities of causing those who deal with him in the wrong fashion to end up the next morning stripped of their possessions and left only with the mother of all hangovers.

Those who have watched Dravon's machinations in recent months would be able to confess to this: The man has loyalty to exactly one thing--Dravon Shylock. To say Dravon is "evil" would be inaccurate. Selfish, greedy, ambitious, yes. Evil? Not exactly. Dravon's moral compass is guided by a singular desire to rid the world of ALL other competition to the Scales, and to enslave every single free market left in the world to his cartel exclusively.

Thus, Dravon has no true desire for war, or murder, or chaos, or destruction, and onlookers will soon realize that they will find an ally in Shylock against these things. This is why Dravon continues to work tirelessly against the Demon Generals, having defeated Emonaloch, Rose, Ariel, and others already when they have faced him.

This makes Dravon a "gray" character on the moral compass. Heroes should be wary of his machinations and selfish designs; Villians should fear Dravon's willingness to crush any foe, demon or mortal that dares to threaten the business of his cartel and his dreams of a prosperous, healthy merchant empire.

Brief Ancient History: He came from nothing, as the story goes, in Aerosia. His father was a fisherman, and his mother a fishwife, or a whore, depending on what definition of the term you prefer. Seeing no future in the provincial little "hole" of the island nation, he set out north serving a wealthy merchant named Garcon. Sadly, Garcon fell ill to food poisoning some years later, and by that point, Dravon was ready to take over the business, having been appointed as his personal heir in Garcon's conveniently penned will, which he had composed the day before his untimely demise. Dravon immediately most of Garcon's accumulated wealth in a massive, enterprising expansion, renamed the organization, increased his number of contacts, contracts, and trade agreements; proceeded to drive a dozen other merchants into bankruptcy and sent them packing into debtor's prison within a two years of his ascendancy. The rest, as they say, is history.

Kin (family): Dravon didn't spare a single coin for his father's funeral after he had drowned, nor did he shed a single tear for his mother, discarded like a piece of refuse in some back alley. They were both dead to him the moment he boarded that ship and seized for himself what they had never provided him: a life of luxury, comfort, status, and importance. His business associates are his family, insofar as he considers them such; but in Dravon's world, a contract and coin goes further in binding one to your service than blood.

Brief Recent History: Dravon was operating in Ivalor when he enlisted the services of Cronus Audata, then a member of of the Council of Assassins known as the Lunar Fangs from Chanclera. It was during this time that Dravon encountered the Demon General Emonaloch for the first time. Applying pressure and deception with the help of Cronus, Dravon forced the High Priest Bolgan to deliver the entire market of Ivalor into the hands of Dravon's cartel, The Scales. He thus secured Ivalor completely in the grip of his merchant cartel.

While there, he sent Cronus to Ascara. There, he pressured the Sultan to purchase the services of The Scales with the threat that Shylock commanded the Lunar Fangs, through Cronus. The Sultan lost his daughter because of his hesitation and afterwards, agreed to an exclusive pact with The Scales, also granting Cronus the ability to use the city guard to confiscate The Strahl, the legendary ship of the pirate captain Raphael Sinclair. In this way, Shylock cemented the influence of the Scales in Ascara, as well as the fastest ship on the seas. (This was especially gratifying, since pirates have always been a bane to the Merchant Lords.) In addition, Cronus had killed all of the Elders of the Lunar Fangs except Lieorian. Dravon sent Cronus to pursue Lieorian at all costs back to Chanclera.

Before Ivalor was "sealed" by the ritual in which Bolgan was involved, Shylock was able to witness the event, and barely escape. With Ivalor no longer able to entered and exited, all the market share that he schemed for there was now useless. He then discovered that civil war had erupted in Ascara as well, incited by (at that time) an unknown force. It seemed as if the prizes Shylock had worked so hard for were slipping from his grasp.

Still, by this point, the Scales had secured three kingdom markets: Their "home" market of Sigard (the capital is known as "Dravon's City" by many, instead of its real name of Senadon), Ivalor (sealed), and Ascara (embroiled in civil war).

Dravon, therefore, sailed to Norgard. Given his conquests so far, it would be understandable to assume he wanted to take that market too, but in light of his recent troubles, Shylock came to the realization that he needed to be able to hold his winnings, and fight those who would threaten his markets. So his journey to Norgard was for the acquisition of a weapon that would turn the tides and give him the power needed to stop the forces arrayed against him. With the Merchant's Codex providing insight into a possibility for acquisition of just such a weapon, he bribed and bought the people of the City of Flogeru, and with these mercenaries, sailed to the Star Sanctum, which he found out about after doing a deal with Symon Novikov who was to be teleported to Esgares in exchange for summoning the spirits of Norgard to reveal to Shylock the source and location of great power in that land: The Pillars of the Star Sanctum.

Using the Strahl, Dravon made considerable time around the continent and landed on the far western edge, a little ways from the Star Sanctum with his mercenaries. While on this journey, he received a pigeon messenger from his once-homeland of Aerosia that dark forces were at work there, and the King was soon to be under siege by those forces, leaving the kingdom--small and petty though it was--in ruins. Never one to pass up an opportunity to secure another market for a price, Dravon immediately sent word back that King Kale was to be kidnapped for his own safety and brought to him. While waiting on the cliffs of the Star Sanctum, Shylock received and took as prisoner King Kale and paid his deliverers well.

Then, with the help of the scarlet witch Delilah, who was brought with Kale at Dravon's request, Dravon began the ritual to harness and capture the power of the Pillars and channel it into the reconstructed Rod of the Thirteen Trader Lords. Once this had begun, Shylock arrayed his forces to hold the ground of the Pillars until it was complete.

That was when Queen Kasilica, Emonaloch, Lady Rose, and Ariel as well as the Queen's army attacked Dravon and his mercenaries. They were soundly beaten after a long and bloody struggle. Ariel and Lady Rose were vanquished, and Emonaloch, for the second time, was beaten by the only mortal he has ever had to suffer defeat from: the Merchant Lord of the Scales.

Meanwhile, in Chanclera, Cronus Audata finished his gruesome task and killed the last remaining Elder of the Lunar Fangs, Lieorian, burning his body and that of the family that housed him to the ground afterwards. Cronus and Dravon now make for Sigard which is where they will be arriving in UKC3.

What is Dravon's ultimate plan? With Chanclera under his control now, Norgard in disarray, the King of Aerosia as his hostage, Dravon Shylock has actually seized some degree of power (it varies) from all six kingdoms. There is no part of the Alliance that has not felt the iron grip of the Merchant Lord's influence now.

But it's quite clear that Dravon is not in league with the Demon Generals, and has actually done more than any other single individual in thwarting their plans up to this point and is personally responsible for the vanquishing of two, and the defeat of the greatest, Emonaloch, on more than one occasion.

Even more, Dravon returns to the central seat of his power, Sigard, to advance his plans to the next step, with Cronus returning to his side, and the Rod of the Thirteen Trader Lords in his possession.

The coming days shall see Dravon Shylock's grand design come to fruition... and take the world with it, one way or the other.

In case of absent who will replace me: I'm simply irreplaceable. *grins*

Appearance: A hunched wanderer, a darkened limping shadow. Oaken conceals his figure with a wrapped thick cloak of dark green linen. From afar it can be difficult to judge what kind of figure may lay underneath the cloth, be it a demon or a broken creature.
Removed from the shadow of the cloak, the creature lays exposed as a unique specimen. While somewhat humanoid, the overgrowth of fauna and twisted knots of wood warp and form the body of the oddity that is Oaken. He is, to the best of explanation, a walking tree. His eyes glow a deep blue, providing the only source of expression on the wooden visage. He has no other facial features, no mouth, ears, or nose. He can fumble tools with his numbly finger-like stumps as long as he keeps the leaves and twigs from interfering. At about 6'7", Oaken carries a large figure and yet proceeds with burden and difficulty.
Those who see this creature claim him to be an Ent. Although no accurate description can confirm such a claim.

Weapons: An thick old piece of petrified wood, served as a walking stick. A cool wind resonates from the dead tree.

Persona: An anomaly, strange in sight and company. It is, and always will be, difficult to make an accurate read of Oaken's persona. He observes more then he interacts, and is slow to come to any conclusion. Physical conversation with the creature is all but impossible, the only way he can communicate is by using his limited physical gestures, or by his weak telepathic sounds which may only communicate a few humming tones. Reacts to flame, yet not negatively... more curious and careful on its functions.

Brief History: As if awakened from a deep slumber, Oaken emerged from the wood as mysteriously as smoke in the dark. While war and conflict raged in and around the borders of the wild forests of Norgard, those who dwell in them watched... and waited. Forever watching, the wood looked on as new evil rises from the depths of places unknown, and unnatural. In deep solace, they stirred and whispered to each other. The ones of ages unknown are told to be Ents, masters of the wood and shepherds of trees. Has the emergence of Oaken arrived in response to the current events? It just may be that his presence serves as a catalyst, to both his companions and himself.

Okay tomorrow gonna be a busy day for me (since it's almost holiday here, and there is preparation for it in my work).

So...

I'm gonna try and work on the CO with Mysti and Storm, along with making a post with Helena (regarding Imposter's char).

Keeper, Troy and Repent, I will work with you soon as well.

I know there is a CO between Anne and Serin, so I'll just wait for it and for another reply or so from Jaco/Prophet and move your group into the city as well.


I also know that a CO between Pure and Keeper is planned, so I can't wait to see it.
