Legends have been told of the Fogged Forest, how its mists would trap wanderers in a maze of similarity, to forever wander until they died of whatever might happen to them. Others said the mist came alive and murdered you. Some admit that no one knows what goes on in the Fogged Forest, only that few ever come out once they enter.

It was here that our two combatants were dropped, in a small clearing that was decidedly free of the fog the forest was named for. On each end of the circular clearing they appeared, one the Yynglyng monk who had seen battle many times, the other an unknown fox warrior. In between them, however, another figure appeared.

Clothed in pitch black robes, the figures hood covered whatever face might be hidden beneath. From head to toe the ebon fabric covered him, except for his left forearm, which from the elbow to the fingertips was covered in a gauntlet of some silver metal. A breeze began to blow the mist into the clearing, a breeze that seemed to never touch the figures cloak, for the fabric never stirred in the wind. The man raised both arms, gesturing to either combatant at the same time as he began to speak.

"Welcome, warriors. You have been destined to do battle on this day for no other reason than for the enjoyment of those who watch on from above. This battle will be decided by submission or death, whichever decides to come first. I suppose I should mention, however, that you may want to steer clear of the mist..." As he spoke, a tendril of the mist began to creep out from the rest of the wall, a tentacle of pure white that aimed directly for the figure.

"It has... a will of its own, and will not hesitate to devour you... And of course you cannot stop it any more than you can fight it. So I suggest moving now..." The mist-tendril enveloped him, his voice losing clarity.

"Else who knows what might happen to you?" Laughing maniacally, the man was gone, which seemed to enrage the mist. It began to move faster now, hellbent on devouring someone.

(Our warriors are set on the east and west ends of a small clearing. The mist is to the north, approaching south in a steady but rather rapid pace. If a man was walking casually in the mall, the mist would catch up to him in a matter of seconds if it started a few feet behind him. After a certain amount of posts, the mist will begin to speed up, and again in that interval. I'll let you post first, Pichu :P)

Name: Mekiu also known as fox fighter
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Race: Fox furry
Form: fox

Appearance: Human ~ Mekiu has foxy red hair that she keeps around her shoulder and well cut to keep it out of the way. with bright aqua eyes and relatively tan skin she's lean and muscular. She has a pair of soft furred fox ears and a long busy fox tail. She normally wears a pair or long jeans that flair at the bottom and have the pattern of red flames as well as a tight top that goes around her chest but leaves her arms and stomach wide open. This also leaves in plain view the scar that runs from her right shoulder to her left hip and more then a few other small scars.

Fox ~ She has the coat of any normal fox But she's far bigger with more of a wolf build, Lean and strong this form is built for speed and power.

Personality: Mekiu is laid back for the most part but serious when it comes to take care of those around her or missions. She's cheerful when it comes to it and mischievous in fights and fun. She's not one easily intimidated and will fight with all she has if it means saving a life she cares about. She can be angered easily if pushed to her limits but other then that she's pretty calm.

History: Mekiu was a slave when she was younger, Exiled on an island with a human kingdom that saw furies only to be used for labor and maybe more. Her parents attempted an escape with her fleeing for one of the soon to depart ships. unfortunately they did not make it but managed to put their daughter aboard and get her safely away. From there she was on her own taking care of herself and raising herself. Somewhere along the way she had gotten ride of her collar re-obtaining her ability to create illusions and wield her fox fire. Several years passed and some how found herself in the middle of a fight to defend some kids having fun for that time they took refuge in an old church its vast space proving a good shelter and after so Mekiu took in any child who needed a place to stay feeding them and providing them what ever they needed to survive. She protected them from the near by village who used them for labor and went on missions to get the money they needed for food and cloths finding herself becoming some what of a mother. Satisfied that she had found her calling she has staid with this ever since.

Funfacts: Mekiu's favored saying to people she dose not like "never trust your eyes when a fox is near"
Weapons: twin dueling knifes, throwing knifes and hand to hand.
Powers: powerful illusions that effect not only the minds perception but also the minds part of the brain with hearing, touch, pain, and smell etc... Fox fire, nine tailed strike (nine balls of fire surround her and her opponent, her speed and strength increases drastically with the reserve energy she uses. Each flame turns into a short of weapon when she grabs it charging at her enemy to strike them with it before grabbing another and repeating the process till all the flames are gone.)
Theme song(s): nothing comes to mind
Other info: I have another fox fur with the same name.

Mekiu peered around at her obscured surroundings, the mist hanging around the edges and the shadows in and around them, it was all but eerie. She looked to the center her ears flicking back and forth for a second till they laid back. She pulled back her lips in a snarl. No other reason than for the enjoyment of those who watch on from above? She thought irritatedly. "I don't have time for some one else's pleasant amusement." Bright blue eyes narrowed as the man vanished leaving her and one other girl. The mist however... She pressed her lips together in thought. She must get out of here, who knew what would happen to the kids if she was gone to long.

She looked over at the other figure studying her for an instant. She was not to sure what to expect, she had no details like she had during missions, so she had no clue if this girl could be trusted or not just in case. Pulling out her twin dueling knifes she held them at her side her tail flicking back and forth as she started to pace around wryly. Eying the mist now and then to keep trace of its progress but her eyes mostly rested on the girl. "Who are you?" she asked her voice low but carried in the empty space. She looked human enough but something seemed off about her, though the mist was dampening the smell of... well anything.

Mekiu made sure that her quiet circling pace slowly brought her closer to the middle and father away from the edge. If the man was right, and no doubt he was, about the mist then she would rather steer clear of it all together. The question was, once it got a hold of you where you able to get free or where you simply stuck till it was done with you? questions , questions with no answer as of yet.

Anticipation.... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ95vwJg3zc&feature=youtu.be)

Uai, once again the victim of sudden transportation to an unknown battlefield, took a moment to gather herself before turning her head to look at her surroundings. Forest. A mist to her left that promised nothing good, especially as she noticed its slow reach for the man who stood speaking in the middle of the forest clearing. Another person stood opposite her, a rather furry individual that reminded Uai of a snowwolf standing on its hind legs... Only more humanlike. Uai disliked humans.

The man speaking reminded Uai of someone, for some reason. It took a moment, then a glare flashed across her face, recognition not bringing back any fond memories for her. As the man cackled and left the field, she muttered to herself, "Curse you, Shade, for bringing me on yet another soon-to-be-humiliating adventure..."

With him gone, it seemed as if the battle would begin. Uai watched as the other fighter began to move towards the center and away from the mist. Smart. According to Jacob, that thing was dangerous... And Uai was prepared to take his word for it. The woman, as it appeared to be, was covered in red-orange hair that made her appear to be akin to a fox of some sort. Along with the ears and tail, if she went about on four legs, she might actually fit in as an oversized one. Uai found the idea to be rather amusing, a smirk gracing her stunning features.

"Who are you?" the woman asked, obviously careful about who to trust in this strange place. Smart. Standing her ground out of sheer spite towards the apparently intelligent mist, Uai addressed the woman forthright.

"I am Uai Trakand. Apparently we're supposed to fight. Wonderful, I could use the fucking exercise," she said simply, crossing her arms under her breasts as if unsatisfied with her opponent. In truth, she was trying to entice the fox-girl into attacking first, to see what kind of style she used. Know you opponent, and you've already won.

Mekiu's ears twitched in slight irritation but her face remained smooth as she continued to slow pace eyes on the girl but flicking back now and again to the ever present threat of the mist. Dang it... she thought looking over the girl, Eyes narrowing and widening as she took on everything she could. Part of her Wished to start the fight now and end it as quickly how ever her more fox half coxed her to wait for an opening and make the best of what she had. Finely she stopped her quite pace and stood, not quite in the center but far enough from the edge should anything some out of the mist.

Her aqua eyes rested once more on the girl "well I suppose since you have so kindly in traduced yourself I shall do the same." She didn't like this girl and that was that, as soon as those words had left her mouth she had mistrusted the girl. "I'm Mekiu, fox fighter and guardian." she said her grip tightening on her knifes ready to move them when they needed to be, but for the most part she was still save for her ears, tail and eyes. She was very agitated and worried but not for her own life rather those that she had been so suddenly torn from to become an amusement for others she could not see.

Letting out a small breath she tried pushing this feeling of forbidding out of her head or at least to the back of her head while she studied the area they where in. It didn't seem that the girl would make a move ...yet but she was ready to counter an attack should it come.

Calm... Serene.... Die!! (http://youtu.be/ut0YDGH7NYU)

Uai was less than impressed with the woman, to say the least. Unless she was magical, which Uai highly doubted since the girl seemed armed with daggers. With nothing else obvious about her, Uai supposed that she shouldn't judge on appearance alone, but for some reason, Uai just didn't feel that the woman in front of her was a threat.

"Walk into the mist now, and let us get on with our lives," the Yynglyng woman said with a flick of her hair. She didn't feel like playing Jacob's little game right now, more than ready to be done with it all so she could return to her more preferable pastime of murdering when she felt like it.

As it stood, though, Uai began to walk away from the mist, towards the woods. The charade of her being unwilling to battle the girl would work for now, she supposed. Moving into the forest would provide cover, and perhaps give her a chance for a quick finish to this farce.

Mekiu's ear twitched again. If the girl thought she was that naive... Shaking her head. She needed to be careful. There was no in tell on this girl or place, no information that she needed right off, this... was not a mission. She was not one to start a fight, not really but it was starting to settle in... they might not leave till one of them gave up or simply died. So far Mekiu had nothing and less on what this girl could do, if anything. sighing she flipped one blade up quickly reaching for one of her hidden throwing knives and flicked it at the girl. Catching her larger blade as it came back down.

Better test fast what she needed to know to survive this might very well be the most impotent thing she could do right now. There was no way she was going to die when there were others who needed her. And she didn't trust the simple 'by submission' more then likely there was a consequences for that. spinning her blades in her hands for a moment she brought them around sending two blades of flame following behind the knife. Dropping into a crouch she kept her blades crossed across her chest, Tail flicking back and forth as she watched to see the reaction time and how she would deal with this.

Let the battle begin... (http://youtu.be/b1b6mSdz_iI)

From her peripheral vision, Uai saw the glint of metal flying at her. And there was her chance. She pretended ignorance until the last moment, then turned on the ball of her heel and grabbed the throwing knife by the blade in her right hand, mere inches from her neck. A good shot, if Uai was any judge... Blood slicked the blade as the cut released her life juice onto it.

With that done, Uai easily sidestepped the two blades of fire, not feeling like going all the way into a dodge roll. With that done, Uai tossed the blood-slicked dagger aside casually and held her cut hand towards the fox-woman.

"Wonderful. Now you've given me what I need," Uai said with a smirk. The blood on her hand bubbled, then shot out in a volley of about ten needle-like projectiles. Upon contact, they could break skin, though nothing more than bleeding damage would result. But with this ability now revealed, that was a detriment in and of itself.

Mekiu watched, impressive meaning she can fight and I better be more careful. Her eyes narrowed then widened in that order in quick order. Mekiu dodged to the side but she was not going to be able to clear all of them. Allowing her arm to be priced allowing herself a slight wince before weaving an illusion. So the girl could use blood. did this limit to her own? or could she use others? and how far did this ability go?

Weaving an illusion around herself she moved. If this illusion was at all affective then it would quietly look like she had been hit fully with all ten projectiles. If it didn't then mekiu had simply gotten away with five maybe six. One had graved her side the rest had either buried themselves in her arm are had grazed the skin. Even with her faith in her illusion weaving she kept her eyes on the girl. You could never be quite sure who know what and when an illusion was being cast. Last time she had been over confident in this she had almost paid it with her life.

Let's get real. (http://youtu.be/v05TIOAyJpA)

Uai, a master in protecting her mind from foreign influence, noticed something off instantly. Instead of seeing an illusion, Uai saw the magic the girl used as a ghostly image while still being able to see the fox-woman herself. Smirking in scorn at the other woman's attempt at trickery, Uai halted the needles flight and drew the blood back to her, a small cloud of blood droplets hovering next to her. Even blood from the fox-girl joined the cloud as well.

"Resorting to tricks now, are we?" Uai asked with a sneer, launching the entire blob of blood towards the girl's feet with a flick of her hand. The motion made the attack seem like it was simply dismissing the blood, tossing it aside as if it had no more use to her. As the blood seemed to only be a blob and not in the form of any sort of weapon, this also added to the sense of non-offensive use, but as the blood splashed on the ground under the girl, Uai quickly raised it up in the form of all-too-deadly spikes.

With that performed, Uai was done playing. Rushing the girl, Uai aimed a sweeping kick to the girl's feet, then brought her left fist to bear in an uppercut, taking into mind how she would have to change it if the girl actually did fall.

So she can see through them. Mekiu thought quietly my question is can see still see them or is it merely a seance thats its happening. Mekiu's eyes narrowed and she cursed as she saw her own blood join that of the girls own. "well darn it, use my own blood against me..." she muttered Jumping back as the glob landed at her feet. Lucky enough for her the spikes only graved on leg but that was not all she had to worry about. Stumbling back to keep on her feet she brought her blades up to block the uppercut which knocked her back another step since she was already off balance.

Twisting around she stopped her fall and rolled foreword in a crouch before pushing herself to the side and rolling once more but this time onto her hands. Despite the blood seeping out of the wounds on her arms she held herself with out any trouble. Still if blood was going to help this girl she needed to stop it and soon... She would have to wait for an opening right now was not the right time while she was on defensive. She quickly pushed herself back into her feet letting the fix fire slid onto her blades.

Mix-up: You ready? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CjH9E1hA_4)

The girl had dodged Uai's spikes, as well as blocked the punch. She was good, aware, and not too shabby as a fighter. She held back though, wary of attacking. In that, Uai held the advantage. Moving a little more into the forest, the Yynglyng woman kept an eye on the mist that was steadily advancing. Damn fog has me on the run now... If only I could be sure that it was harmless... I doubt the Shade would lie, though. If only, if only... she thought grudgingly.

The forest was becoming thicker now, more vegetation obscuring the land between Uai and her opponent. Most of it was small shrubs and bushes, but it was apparent that it would eventually begin to get more and more jungle-like. That might eventually take them to the trees, if the foliage got thick enough. An interesting battle that would be... For now though, Uai focused on her opponent.

Fire began to coat the woman's blades. Interesting... She had already displayed flaming projectiles, but now it was apparent that the girl was actually a fire mage of a sort... Very interesting. With most of the blood going into that spike attack, Uai was forced to actually draw blood from herself and, a grin forming on her face with this one, from the girl's wounds. The blood began to move about her hands and lower arms, before convening into recognizable shapes about her lower arms. On her right arm formed a sort of shield, the blood clotting into hardened form to create a working circle of protection. On her other arm the blood clotted into the shape of two working blades coming from her wrist, extending far beyond her hand.

With a roar of aggression, Uai closed the distance between her and her opponent, shield out in front at first. She rushed the fox-girl with the shield, then jabbed at mid-section level with her blades. She followed up with an overhead strike with the shield, the edges of the blood-shield becoming serrated. After that, she flung her right arm wide in a shield bash, then came down from upper left to lower right with her blades.

Mekiu remained where she was the flames dancing on her blades making small shadows shift on her face and body. She watched her opponent all but vanish in the thick plant life that surrounded their area. Taking a heart beat she glanced around for the mist noting where it had been and where it was now. She growled but thought quietly. Maybe she could use that here... she had... ideas but wither they would work... this would be a test no? Her tail flickered as she again observed her surroundings all the while her ears up and alert for any sound near her.

Her studying was quickly drawn to a short stop as a cry reached her ears. Whipping her head back around she could only catch the girl charging her and managed to steel herself. She took a few steps back the blades aimed at her mid section just grazing her skin Making her take another step back to keep her on her feet. Pain seared though one of her ears as the other attack took a nice slice of her ear. One would think that having one's ear cut would not hurt but then that person would be painfully wrong. It hurt. Mekiu caught the shield bash or more like let it push her back before dropping to get passed the last attack, Just barely if that. "Damit..." The girl was trying to give her another scar as if she didn't already have enough.

Mekiu had already dropped down to avoided the strike blades at her sides she brought one around aiming for the girls legs the other she brought up more or less intending the cut the girls middle open and be done with this. She would end with one arm up raised the other across her chest flames still dancing on the blades.

Let's see what this does... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4RpfAlMRY0&feature=relmfu)

Uai grunted as one of the blades crossed her left leg, cutting into the front. The brought her down and back on one knee, which left a bitter taste in her mouth. How dare she! Bringing the blood-shield up to take the mid-section attack, Uai prepared her next attack.

A wicked grin crossed the alien woman's face as the blade connected with her shield. Instantly, the congealed blood burst away from Uai, splattering over the girl as Uai back-flipped away, landing most of her weight on her right leg to compensate for her wound. And with that in play... Uai held out her hand and focused, the blood blades forming into a small ball next to her while her attack commenced.

The blood that now coated the fox-girl began to burn, a searing sensation much akin to water around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Uai smirked and kept her distance as she continued channeling the magic necessary for the blood to burn, biding her time as her opponent sizzled.

This wouldn't harm her more than possible second-degree burns on bare skin.

Mekiu winced as the blood splatted over her but more to keep it out of her eyes. She was able to take in the fact that she hand injured the other and was very glad to see she could. However she only had a small amount of time to congratulate herself for doing so before her skin started to burn in the spot where the blood rested. Her eyes widened for a moment, So this blood control went deeper?! Throwing herself back she rolled across the ground in attempt to get some of the blood off.

Releasing the hold on her weapons she frantically worked to get the majority off. Rolling back she landed in a crouch on all fours her tail up and spiked her ears laid back. A seconded later red fur rippled along her skin Her body Shifted forms a snout with large fangs taking the place of her nose, Her hair seeming to just blend in with the fur that now couted her as her hands and feet turned into sturdy paws. With the build of a wolf but the fur of a fox Mekiu was a slight oddity. Raising her head she snarled the burning sensation having lessened with the protection of the fur but not by much. She threw herself into another role before she leaped up and sprang for the girl Going more for a low head but or something to knock her off her feet. If that worked Mekiu would go for another as she got up But she would be aiming for the throat next.

It's raining blood.. Hallelujah!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KsPZ1f7MDs)

The girl tossed and turned in pain, which made Uai grin in sadistic pleasure. Wriggle wriggle, little worm... she thought, only to have the girl pull something quite interesting from her ass. Fur began to cover her more completely, and she actually turned into a large, dog-like fox.

I supposed I should have seen that coming... she thought for a moment, releasing the spell as she realized she needed to protect herself from the animal's charge. The animal was fast, though, and as soon as the magic ceased to channel energy from her, Uai felt the head of the animal connect with her mid section, pushing her back a few feet as her heels dug into the dirt and grass.

Swearing lightly to herself, Uai saw the animal leap, and immediately brought the leftover blood to her. It coated her left arm, which she brought up to meet the fox's gaping jaws in place of her throat. The blood congealed and hardened as it did so, protecting her from the sharp teeth, though the animal's sheer jaw strength threatened to fracture bone.

This is when Uai had to grin. The blood that was now inside the animal's mouth quickly began to change into needles, which aimed to pierce Mekiu's flesh from inside her maw. One aimed directly towards her brain.

Feels crapy but I'm not so sure what to do so here it is.
~~
Mekiu Growled as she clamped her jaws around the hardened blood. She understood this could be dangures if she didn't play her cards right or if the girl realized what exactly she was chomping down on. Evidently she did Something peairced her mouth and Mekiu had all she could to pull away with out pulling something impotent along with it. Sharp cuts no lined her mouth the blood pooling over her tongue as she staggered back. It began to drip out slowly after a moment as her tongue roved around her mouth assessing the damage. her tongue as least had one Peirce itself.

"Suppose I can get a piercing now." Mekiu mumbled Blood droplets dropping to the ground for a moment. Taking a breath she continued to back up for a time before stopping as she spit out some more blood that had gathered into her mouth. Glaring at the girl her paws light up with fire that slowly creeped up her legs and then into her body. She still had her reserved energy but she figured she would wait to use that till her advantage was sure.

With a howl she leaped foreword again but dodged to the side diving into the grasses as she made a wide circle around her enemy. She would burn everything and turn this into her playing field. None of the fire seemed to harm the beast as it dashed over, under and through it. In fact she seemed perfectly comfortable with in the dancing flames themselves. She simply kept her distance from the girl for the moment as she worked on stopping her own bleeding. There would soon be a blazing maze for the girl to worry about.

Let us go Into the Fire (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TSpd3mvl3A)...

Uai smirked slightly in satisfaction of her attack. The fox would keep taking hits until it fell, bleeding, at her feet. Uai hadn't even needed the spirits of Ionor this day, which pleased her. She disliked having to rely so heavily on them as a weapon.

However, it seemed the tables were beginning to turn as the fox-girl-fox-beast had set itself and the surrounding area on fire, hopping, skipping, and jumping across the grass and setting it alight. While on the surface Uai was complacent about this, underneath she was worried. Fire was one thing she wouldn't admit was actually a weakness of hers. Unarmored, she had no protection against the element, as well as cauterized wounds would not bleed, which made her usual tactic of allowing hits from her enemy pointless now.

This proved to be a predicament. Her only escape was to Ghost away and hope that the fox's magic died down for her to exit it. Otherwise she risked losing the blood magic until the girl tried to draw blood again, though by then Uai would be too weakened by the burns to be able to justify taking a hit. This left her in the situation where she needed to do an unwanted thing just to stay in the game.

Sighing, Uai dropped the blood she carried with her, as it would be loosened from her grip anyway once the shift was complete. Staying still within the flames, Uai began to concentrate, her eyes not closed as she must be alert to the approaching fire while still being able to focus on shifting. As she did so, her body began to glow a little more, becoming insubstantial and hazy to the eye. Once she was truly Ghosting, any part of her body could phase through the fire, though complete phasing was impossible because of the way the spell worked.

While it wasn't necessary to stand still, Uai was playing it safe from the fire, wanting to retain the bleeding wound for the precious ammo it supplied. However, that also meant she was a free target to the ever-waiting firefox...

Why does that name seem... humorous? she wondered to herself.

Mekiu Continued to prance around until the entire clearing was a bright blaze of orange fire that lit up the fog and the large area in which surrounded it. Having let the fire scorch both her skin and mouth to stop the bleeding, She was not going to be speaking any time soon, At least not understandably. Her bleeding had been cut off thankfully now she must worry about girl and her bleeding wounds if she could just stop those Heck if she could just burn the girl....

Crouching with in the fire the large fox watched the surrounding flames, Patches where the flames did not ignite and the above. her ears flickered at the crackling flames, Where was that mist and how far had it gotten? She raised her head over the fire and peered around to find where the girl and the mist might be. However the girl took up most of her attention. Very curies she looked... misty, Transparent... Hazy! What the... She would have mumbled this but it hurt her mouth to much to move it at the moment though she could easily still use her jaws to rip, shred, brake and grab it would still hurt like heck. This was anew trick and Mekiu was wiry at the most. cautiously she started to pick her way around watching the other intently and trying to get up behind her. Going for a blind side attack and testing out this new trick might be a bad idea but she had to know what she was dealing with now.

Mekiu stopped a few feet away just slightly behind the girl the fire acted some what like her camouflage. While she would stand out more in greenery fire was orange and red... as was her fur. Pushing herself foreword in a few bounds Mekiu leaped out of the fire to send a heavy paw swipe for her head Wither it 'hit' or not Mekiu would roll back into the flames to vanish again and come at her again from another angle.

Wildfire! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woNx-_no_Oc)

Finally, she was Ghosting. Her body insubstantial now, all she had to do was think and the particles of her being would reposition themselves, allowing those parts of her body to move through things without any resistance. The particles had to stay within her being, though, so it wouldn't work for moving through a wall or some such object. If she tried, she would only be able to get about halfway before the other half of her resumed its solid state.

Of course, this science was lost on her primitive mind. All she knew was that the spell allowed parts of her to move through objects, so she used it to her advantage. Now that she was able, she could begin to..

Movement slightly behind her. Below the crackling of the fire, the sound of footfalls met her ears and she turned slightly, catching sight of movement within the wildfire. She perceived the attack's trajectory, bending slightly at the waist so that only a bit of her head had to Ghost through the fox. It was an odd feeling, having another being pass through you, but Uai was used to it.

The fox came around again, but this time, Uai wasn't there. As soon as the fox had passed the first time, she turned and fled through the fire, leaping through it as her body Ghosted through the tongues of flame, escaping damage. She felt the heat distantly, as if laying out in the sun on a cloudless day since it was impossible to escape the entire effects, but it was better than succumbing to burns. She eventually escaped the fire, only to meet the mist.

It was positioned to her left now, creeping up on them like a giant wall of evil intent. She looked behind her, and as the fire began to meet the mist, instead of burning away the fog like it should, the fire instead was swallowed, snuffed out as if a giant hand was putting out a candle.

Shuddering in the oddness of it, Uai angled herself away from the fog, now looking to the trees. It would be harder for the fire to catch in the trees, so she bounded for one and caught a low branch in her hands. Spinning up with her legs, she launched herself upward an into the branches of a tree, turning around to try and catch sight of her opponent.

Mekiu looked around keeping low with in the flames eyes narrowed. crouching Her eyes gazed around for the girl as she started to thing. She had passed right through her... how did she manage that? and how was she supposed to fight something she could not hit. She let out a small growl of annoyance. Stalking she looked for the girl coming to the edge of the fire she could see places it had burned but as she watched she could see some of the mist snuffing it out. "Tisk..." Her tail flicked as she moved out into a patch of ground that had nothing more to burn letting the flames die off her body.

Ears perked and eyes darting around she searched. The smell of fire and burning ... stuff filled the air making it hard to track anything by scent leaving her only to her ears and eyes. Trees she needed to look for the trees.... They would be harder to catch as the flames did not reach to their leaves but still she could get them to light if she wished. Turning her gaze more upward she shifted her bright blue eyes though the shadows looking for any sign of the girl. She was very much intent on getting out of here now if only she could figure where she was and if she could hit her instead of passing through.
