Hidden amongst the trees, the mountains, the rivers, lies a city. So big, so bright, so sad. The city is home to creatures, not humans. Beautiful, beautiful creatures. But they are not good.
Long ago, the creatures came sometimes to the nearby town. They seduced the town females, sometimes even males.They made them fall in love, charmed them with their perfection, and took them to the city.
After they had their fun, after they made the lovestruck humans as happy as they could be, they took them to a lake.
Then they would shatter their hearth. They would turn them into fireflies. They would give them human lives so that they would suffer as long as possible.
But once, something happened.
A male creature, a forest god, fell in love with a human girl. Really fell in love. It was not a lovely facade. The girl liked him too.
They would walk along the lake at night and the fireflies would light their way. But the dream of a happy couple was shattered. The other creatures made fun of the forest god. They looked down on their relationship, and eventually, killed the girl.
And the fireflies mourned. A curse was born. Every creature that fell in love would turn into a scarecrow if it's partner was killed.
The god visited the girl's grave, and the fireflies lighted the way every night, until he died as well, and turned into a scarecrow.
And the fireflies mourned.....

Now, years later after the legend happened,life goes on.
For a while, the creatures stopped taking humans. They were scared of falling in love.The humans stopped believing in the story.
But the new generation of creatures was born. They were waiting for more people to come to the human city.
Now the story starts again. The creatures are not scared of falling in love. They know that the humans can't refuse them.The problem is, they can't stop their partners of getting killed.
Some new people recently moved in. The number of fireflies started growing. The number of scarecrows did not change.
So, are you a helpless human, or a evil creature.
The fireflies are mourning again...........

Hello, my name is:[/b] Vergil Lee Harlowe
I am proud of my race: Starlight Fairy

So, do I easily fall in love? : Yes...sadly...
I roamed the hidden city for so long : I only appear 19 but I've been around for about four or five decades
And I turned this many people into fireflies: one. But it wasn't my fault.
This is my attitude, deal with it, you will love it anyway : I'm kinda stuborn, protective, and sometimes I'm a jerk. I'm vain in many ways. I rather be in the dark then in the light. You know, nighttime under the stars...I'm pretty active, always moving around. I can be quiet almost shy at times, but most fairies are. I often like to watch humans, just studying them but I've been too timid to go up to them yet. But I'm ready to change that. But I'm gonna do it at night....because I feel a bit more cozy at night.
My story? It couldn't hurt...: My mother was a Sunlight fairy and my father was a moonlight fairy. I was born a Starlight fairy or a Fairy of the Stars. I grew up loving the moonlight and the starlight and basking in the warmth of the sun. Because of my family I don't have to sleep at all. Strange huh? The only time I sleep is on nights with the full moon because its glow hides the stars from my eyes. I control the stars, moving them and rearranging them at my will. Sometimes I am vain enough to create patterns of myself, but not always. Heh, just sometimes. When I was 30 years old in human years, I was an adult in Fairy years or in other words 16 in fairy years. Our years are much much slower then that of humans. We barely age at all. I did find one girl to love many years ago, but saddly...things went wrong... So now I'm going to venture out and try to find a girl, the right girl. I've been waiting by the lake for one. I'll find her and I won't make any mistakes again.

This is MY attitude and you will have to deal with it! : Very self protective and not exactly very trusting of others. Hates small places and loves to sit under the stars.
My story? Well : Alice was born in Britian and lived there till her family decided to move to the city. She was always very curious and did research on the legend but in the end gave up finding there to be no evidence of anything. She ended up just fading into the everyday life of a daughter. She had a tendancy to always lock herself in her room though after a while she started to go and roam the streets at night to catch the view of the stars.

This is MY attitude and you will have to deal with it! : Harper is a very shy person. Not many people make her feel comfortable, and the ones who do usually say she's crazy. Because, well, Harper believes in the secret city, the one passed down in her family for ages, the myth. Harper can be hot-headed if you are rude to her, but all-in-all she's pretty nice, although she does have a hard time sticking up for herself, much less others.
My story? Well : Harper was born in a very rich family. The dresses, the bows, the parties, the stars, the works. Although spoiled, Harper took nothing for granted and tried to be her own person, not fit into the mold of someone else. So this is why she believes in the city: to be different. Even if it means being called crazy. Her grandmother told her the story, told her how to get there.
And so... Harper did.
