View Full Version : When The Gods Are Bored: (Private for Tytun and Agnores)

Agnores

Agnores sighed, looking out over the vast mesa that once was his home. Years ago it had been ruthless wiped out, and now, hundreds of years later, there was nothing left.

Being a Lightning Revenant had it's perks, immortality, lightning powers, the like. But it definately had it's drawbacks. It meant he was pretty much perpetually a loner...No one would live as long as he would.

His thoughts drifted back to when he gave his soul over to Malice, whom in turn gave him a Greater Lightning Elemental as a soul. It was then that Agnores had fully given up his mortality, and become something much more. At that point, he wasn't the Revenant he is today, but his powers had grown substantially. It wasn't until he had mastered the energy within completely, to the point where it wouldn't control him, that he gained full Revenant status.

And the Electropheonix. It was such an awesome discovery. Filled with such awesome power...Agnores sighed once more. He had these amazing powers, yet lately, nothing to prove them against. Now, he felt he understood why so many immortals go evil and try to destroy the world. They're just bored.

It was then that Agnores felt a faint tugging at his body. "What the-" a few seconds later it seemed like the world around him was suddenly yanked up, and just as fast as it happened, a different world appeared around him.

Agnores looked around him. He seemed to be in a great arena...great walls surrounded him, looming up with glass eyed immobile spectators filling every seat. Agnores stood, confusing coursing through every-bit of his body.

Where was he? How did he get here? What was going on?

Meanwhile, many sounds of nature could be heard in the dense forest known as Achem Woods. Through the foliage could be heard the sounds of birds chirping, leaves crackling under the weight of an animal, the occasional call of a wolf in the distance... All in all, it was quite a peaceful place to be.

Underneath the crushing force of the waterfall was the figure of a young man, sitting on the rocks encompassing the waterfall's bottom. Although the weight of the water should have knocked him about for a loop, he remained perfectly still and unfazed. About the only thing that was really moving was his spiky silver hair flailing madly against the current.

Opening his silver eyes, he stood up and walked away from the water toward a pile of equipment left out on the grass nearby. After he clothed himself, he checked over everything. With his katanas in hand and a bulky scarf hiding the lower half of his face, he began to press forward.

This man's past was a mystery to many, including himself. As far as he could recall, he had always existed, but remained unable to prove it. To most others, however, he wasn't human but simply a being of extraordinary strength and skill.

Suddenly, a shift rippled through his body. Stopping to look around, he seemed to question what had occurred before he was ripped from that point in the world to another place. Blinking a few times, he looked around to see how he was inside what looked to be a coliseum. As he eyes circled around, he glanced at another being who was the only one in the ground part along with him.

Agnores

Agnores stared at the man who appeared before him. "Huh?"

It was really all he could manage. He couldn't help not being calm, collected, and cool; he was still new to the Lightning Revenant job. "Who are you?" Agnores asked. "Are you the person who got me here? Why?"

Agnores asked these questions like he was in danger of really dieing. However immortal he might be, death was still a MAJOR inconvenience.

"YOU ARE MY PAWNS!"

The voice rang out, and as it did, the glassy eyed people in the stands stood and cheered. "YOU WILL ENTERTAIN ME, FOR I AM BORED."

Agnores looked around for the speaker, but to no avail. Who was the speaker?

"I AM GOD."

Tytun
03-30-2010, 04:54 AM
The man known as Tytun simply stared at the other being. Instead of answering any of the demanded questions, he remained silent with his gaze locked on hard. At the booming voice, however, he began to look around. He too had no luck in the matter, but the idea that this being claiming to be God would pit two people against another for entertainment...

Agnores

"FIGHT."

"What!?" Agnores took two steps backwards. He hadn't fought it over three centuries! Yes, he had spent that time practicing and studying, trying to hone his skills to Revenant status, but he had never tested them in real combat. The last fight he was in he even had died, and had Malice not been there for him, he wouldn't be here today.

Sometimes, Agnores wished he could stay dead.

"Hey, you, listen, I'm not really into fighting...Isn't there something we can do?"

"FIGHT."

Agnores sighed, then looked to the man. "Hey, look, I don't want to fight."

The bluntness in the being's commands were somewhat irritating to Tytun, even though his face showed perfect apathy to the entire situation. Standing where he was, his gaze glanced about the blank fans surrounded him and the other being.

Hearing the other person's voice directed toward him, he focused his gaze on Agnores. Unblinking and without emotion, his stare locked onto the male, sizing him over. Eventually, he closed his eyes and then sat down on the ground, almost as if he was meditating. He had no reason to heed the words of a 'bored' god, much less battle a man whose form suggested he'd be devastated if hit once.

Agnores
03-31-2010, 05:05 AM
Agnores was over-all creeped out by the man before him. He seemed to not care or not understand what has happening around him, and eventually he just sat down. He never responded to what Agnores said.

Agnores didn't want to fight, but it was starting to piss him off how calm this guy was being. Afterall, they had been ripped from wherever and forced to come here just to fight. By a nameless god, no less. Agnores swallowed his irritation. Now wasn't the time to go and get himself killed. Afterall, this man looked like he could rip Agnores in half.

It was then that Agnores felt something tug at his feet at the same time he saw something appear around Tytun's. They seemed to be chains; and as Agnores looked down, he saw the chains had wrapped themselves around his feet too.

The chains had a faint purple tint and were translucent, though they felt very heavy on Agnores' leg.

"THE LONGER YOU REFUSE MY ENTERTAINMENT, THE TIGHTER THE CHAIN BECOMES. ONCE THE CHAIN HAS A FULL GRIP, YOU WILL BE UNDER MY COMMAND."

Chains of Command? Really? Agnores sighed.

Tytun

As he attempted to meditate, his feet suddenly moved from what felt like a light tug. Opening his eyes, he saw that faint purple-tinted chains had tied themselves around his legs. With a glance over, he noticed how Agnores was also tied up in a similar fashion.

Hearing the being speak of how the chains work, Tytun slowly stood up and unsheathed his katanas. For him to fight, he needed a motive of sorts and not becoming the slave of a despicable god was good enough. Turning to face Agnores, he pointed the left katana's tip at him, his apathetic stare locked onto his 'target'.

Agnores
03-31-2010, 05:09 PM
"What!? What are you doing?"

Agnores was really going to have to fight. This was pointless and stupid, worse even then Norega's constant attacks. At least the Fire Revenant talked. Agnores sighed, and snapped his fingers. Instantly, a bolt of lightning struck the ground in front of him, causing a small explosion.

When the smoke dissappated, there was a sword stabbed into the earth. It's hilt was encrusted decorated with a topaz dragon, and the blade had a translucent quality, giving anything on the otherside of the blade a slight yellow tint. Agnores pulled Oserous from the ground, and pointed the tip of the longsword at Tytun. "I don't want to do this. Chains of Command aren't that hard to break."

Tytun

Upon witnessing Agnores' first ability, Tytun knew the reason why he had been pitted against this being. He had magical powers to balance out his frail-looking body, and thus made him a stronger target. Although his opponent spoke of easily breaking the chains, Tytun simply glared at him even longer. If the man could do it, then he might as well. As far as Tytun was concerned, now that he had a reason to fight, he was going to see it to the end.

Lowering his katana down slowly, he suddenly burst with an acceleration not known to normal humans. Going straight for Agnores, he brought his katanas up and swung at the being.

Agnores

Agnores sighed inwardly. This was probably going to be bad.

At seeing Tytun prepare for an attack, Agnores began to let the electricity fill his body. When Tytun gave a burst of speed, Agnores tried to take a few steps back, but it was useless. The katana's still connected in a burst of agony and blood.

It was then that the blood turned into small bolts of electricity, bolting straight at the blade of the katana. Agnores' whole body also began to form into small bolts of eletricity that burst through Tytun's blade, through his body, and into the ground.

Tytun

Seeing his blades connect with his target, Tytun immediately jumped back a few feet. Because a god would pit him against this person, there were obvious secrets that Agnores was hiding. Almost like an answer to his caution, Agnores' body burst open with electricity.

Unblinking as he watched the sight, Tytun suddenly felt a tingling sensation in his hands. Looking down, he noticed too late the lightning charges that encircled his katanas. For a full five seconds, he felt the most excruciating shock a human could ever possibly feel before death. When the electricity grounded, Tytun's was still but smoking. After a few seconds, though, he readjusted himself and looked about as if he was unfazed.

Agnores
04-04-2010, 05:20 AM
"Well, that's one." Agnores sighed from behind Tytun.

"I guess that means we are fighting, then?" Agnores wanted to know the full movement potential of his opponent, and to do that, he'd need fast, but light attacks. No use aiming the slow heavy stuff when he didn't know if he could hit his target.

Agnores' pupil-less eyes sparked with electricity, and the clouds above the arena turned dark and ominous. "Well, hit me again!"

Tytun
04-04-2010, 05:03 PM
Turning his head slowly, Tytun looked over his shoulder and saw the newly-reformed Agnores behind him. Glaring at his opponent as his body turned in suit, he flipped his katanas in his hands before jabbing them into the ground. Placing the palm of his hands on the tips of the hilts, he lifted himself off of the floor and remained suspended in the air for a moment. Finally, he brought his leg down hard on the coliseum's floor. At first, nothing happened of importance, until the ground in front of Tytun exploded upwards. As it did this, it curved and moved toward Agnores, almost in the fashion of a tidal wave.

Agnores
04-04-2010, 06:10 PM
As Tytun performed his ritual, Agnores let electricity take over his body. As Tytun lifted into the air, Agnores' body was nothing but little sparks of electricity jumping all over the place. As soon as Tytun hit the ground, however, Agnores rushed forward, almost disappearing with the speed, rushing straight towards Tytun, hoping to dash through him.

Agnores barely missed the forming of the tidal earth wave, which gladdened Agnores. That would either have hurt, or provided another way for Agnores to ground himself for his attacks.

Tytun
04-05-2010, 12:59 AM
As his foot created the earthen wave, the momentum of his strike didn't falter. As such, his body continued to spin as he held onto his katana's hilts. At this point, the electricity struck him in the back, though Tytun seemed sincerely unfazed by the blow as the lightning coursed down into his katanas. As he neared the end of his spin, he forced his body upwards, causing him to throw himself straight into the air. Upon reaching a high altitude, he finally stopped spinning and looked down at the battlefield. It was then that he actually realized he had even been hit at all. Glaring down at the field, he reared his right arm back which began to glow with a silvery light. Waiting for a moment, he thrust his fist down, sending a wave of energy plummeling toward the ground. When it connected, the entire field exploded in a haze of debris.

Agnores
04-06-2010, 02:32 AM
Agnores wondered why this guy acted like he didn't feel any of these attacks for a bit, but decided that anyone who was immortal, similar to him, wouldn't feel his weaker attacks. He stood, and dried to draw breathe in. It was then that the arena around him exploded in debris.

Ow.

Agnores coughed, and sighed. He decided he woudl stay here, hidden in the debris, and continue to test Tytun's speed. Afterall, he didn't need to be visible for this next attack.

Tytun
04-06-2010, 03:13 AM
Because the force of his punch was so strong, Tytun was literally suspended where he hovered for about three seconds. Finally, he began to drop and soon reached the highest depth drop speed. As he neared the ground, he flipped himself around and landed on his feet, the ensuing shockwave immediately throwing every bit of debris and dirt into the walls of the coliseum. Standing up calmly as he shook his legs from the falling aftereffect, he casually walked back to where his katanas had been, and still were, stuck. Pulling them out of the ground, he immediately spun a full 360, his blades creating a wide circle of metal around him. During his spin, of course, the same power from his fist emitted from the blades, sending two powerful waves of force around the entire broken field.

Agnores

Agnores was soon flung into the Colisseum wall. It hurt, he had to admit, but it was unimportant to the coming events. The resounding boom that followed meant Agnores had been lucky. Laying flat on the ground, he had managed to avoid whatever attack it was that Tytun had sent out. However, most of the debri on top of Agnores had not.

It didn't matter whether Tytun saw him or not. It didn't matter if Tytun attacked, either. Agnores' pupils disappeared from his eye, and a bolt of lightning seemed to flash across each eye. Idly, Agnores wondered if Tytun had ever fought a greater lightning elemental before. If not, Agnores' chances of winning shot up.

Above the Colisseum, grand black clouds began to boil up, covering the sky and giving the Colisseum a dark and ominous presence. Within a few seconds, it was pouring down rain. It was then that the first lightning bolt struck down at Tytun, soon followed by another, then another. It seemed the whole field was being exploded with lightning bolts.

Tytun

Upon finishing his full spin, Tytun quickly came to a stop, his katanas held out at different angles. Taking the small reprieve to straighten himself up, he calmly looked around in search of his opponent. After a moment, he assumed that Agnores was either hiding in the debris field for his next opportunity or dissipated as lightning to begin. His train of thought was interrupted, however, as rain began pouring onto the battlefield. Slowly tilting his head up, Tytun was almost immediately greeted by a lightning bolt to his back.

The force of the bolt made him drop into an almost crouching position, his katanas dropping from his hands as they were covered with electricity. Before he could stand, or recover, from the bolt, a second one crashed down on him in the exact same spot. And then another one... and another one... and another... and another... In all honesty, he couldn't keep up with how many times he was hit with a bolt. All he did know, though, was that it was starting to get REALLY annoying.

Waiting for the small window between the bolt hits, he then stomped his foot into the ground, causing a large chuckle of rubble to, literally, pop up from the ground. Taking the next bolt that came, he then used his strength to force the rubble into the air a few feet above him. Because of how lightning usually worked, the bolts starting focusing its fire on the higher elevated object, aka the large rubble piece. Before he took time to pause, he dropped into the hole where the rubble had popped from and begin forcing himself into the ground until he was no longer above the surface.

Agnores
04-06-2010, 11:15 PM
Agnores pulled himself out from under the cover, and stood, seeing what Tytun had done. He was smart, which was good. Dumb opponents were never fun. He could hear Tytun digging, which was also fine. A magically conjured storm might follow the laws of nature, but magic itself did not. Slowly, the rain poured harder, and despite the higher ground, a second, stray bolt from the norm struck Agnores, who simply disappeared in the thunder.

It was a waiting game now. Either Tytun's hole would fill with water, and he would drown and die from a bolt of lightning, or he would come out, and see more of what Agnores had to offer.

Tytun
04-06-2010, 11:41 PM
As Tytun 'dug' through the ground, he noticed that, if he went to far, it felt as if he was pushed back in. Apparently, he wasn't going to be allowed to leave like that... Making a full circle around the perimeter, he finally made his way back to the opening hole. There, he noticed how the water dripping into the hole had steadily increased from before. Getting an idea of what was planned, he decided to play chicken for now. Rearing his fist back, he force-punched the spot where the rain was landing at, causing a new, and far deeper hole to form. Considering how deep this new hole went, Tytun sat beside the edge of it and watched the rain fall right into it. If that hole filled, he would simply resurface. For now, though, he had time...

Agnores
04-07-2010, 04:56 PM
Really? Agnores sighed. Tytun knew how to put the wait in waiting games. Agnores did have the perfect time to strike when he came out to form the new hole, but Agnores didn't take it. His 'perfect storm' was still striking the debri that Tytun had made earlier, so it was useless as cover. Most likely, unless he surprised Tytun, he would be able to pinpoint eventually where Agnores was going to strike from.

Until then, however, Agnores would press his advantage.

Tytun
04-07-2010, 11:50 PM
As he watched the rain fall into the hole, Tytun began to really increase the waiting by systematically placing more holes as deep as the first one in the underground section. Occasionally dropping into the hole and making intersecting sections, he eventually formed a several circular rings that the water could flow through. Having effectively increased the waiting time by fivefold, he returned to the first hole and sat back down.

Above him, he could hear the bombardment of the thunder bolts. Eventually, he actually noticed how the thunder bolts began to strike into the hole itself, shocking the water as it excruciatingly slowly rose in height. Sighing, he knew that he would eventually have to return to the surface, right into Agnores' preemptive attacks. It couldn't be helped... After all, it was either that or get water-shocked. In all honesty, the former sounded less painful...

Looking up, Tytun decided to react first. Unsure of where Agnores could be, or if he even knew where he was, he reared his fist back. On the surface, the scene seemed perfectly quiet save for the constant thunderbolt. Suddenly, one by one explosions occurred around the wall of the arena, sending debris up into the air along with a grand amount of force. If he had managed to hit Agnores, the blow would have damaged him greatly, though Tytun had a feeling his opponent could easily reheal himself or that he would simply dissipate before hit. As the last explosion occurred, Tytun force-jumped into the air in the midst of a rubble pile, effectively using it as ground armor for now.

Agnores
04-08-2010, 05:25 AM
Agnores knew now he had to kill fast. If he waited too long, he would probably get killed. It wasn't that Tytun was so much more powerful then Agnores himself was, it was that Agnores knew he couldn't take nearly as many hits. He may have the power, but definately not the stamina or the resistance.

It was then Tytun set himself up. He jumped into the air, amidst the rubble still airborne. The bolts from the storm around him began to strikje at the debri, since it was now the highest up, and Agnores used that to help mask his move: he gathered his body, which had disiappated into electrical energy, into one bolt of electricity, and aimed it at the debri. Using bounce from one debri to another, Agnores watched and controlled his bounce, aiming directly at Tytun's back, before the debri even began to fall from gravity.

The electicity would have found it's mark, but Agnores sincerely doubted it would have affected Tytun much. It was the after-attack that Agnores knew could decide the match.

As his energy surged through Tytun, he immediately pulled it back out behind his target, immediately reforming his body, holding out his arm. A bolt of lightning struck down and exploded on Agnores' hand, revealing his blade, which he then stabbed Tytun with.

They were falling now. He hoped he hadn't revealed himself too early, or used too weak of an attack. He needed to at least subdue Tytun, so he could leave.

Tytun

As Tytun found himself suspended in the air, he watched the battlefield carefully. It was obvious to him now that his opponent was in his elemental form. Too bad on his end... Suddenly, a series of lightning bolts attacked the debris field around him, but what slightly intrigued was the one bolt that bounced between bits. Way before it had hit him, he knew what it meant and he held his katanas ready. Feeling the shock of the bolt pass through him, he didn't even have to wait a split second before a presence made itself known.
If he could have, a smirk would have appeared on Tytun's face. To utilize a finishing move in the area of his own expertise... Effective, truly... but foolish. As soon as he heard the sound of a lightning bolt exploding not on him, he immediately acted. With a quick reaction, Tytun flicked his left wrist to the side, using the slightly-built up force in it to twist around. His right sword positioned correctly, he parried Agnores' thrust to the side, his left katana immediately following to slice across his body.

Agnores
04-09-2010, 05:33 AM
Once again, Tytun was greeted with a shower of electricity through his wet body as Agnores was struck.

Agnores felt himself ground, then he reformed on the far side of the arena from Tytun. He sighed. That was two. Well, Agnores would really have to play. Another stray lightning bolt struck his body, and he disappeared. He didn't want to fight...this was turning out about as fun as a fight with Norega. Agnores sighed. The lightning bolts stopped striking, though the rain did not. Agnores would have to go about this tactically to win. If he left himself open, Tytun would likely kill him.

He smiled. If Tytun thought the previous bolts were slightly annoying, things were about to get a whole lot more hellacious.

Tytun
04-12-2010, 03:42 AM
Tytun watched as his opponent dissipated into the lightning he was so used to. Immediately afterward, the thunderbolts cut off leaving only a stream of rain to vibrate upon the battlefield's surface. Without any clue to where his opponent was, he sat down and placed himself into what appeared to be a meditative stance. For now, he'll wait for the next attack...

Agnores
04-12-2010, 08:48 PM
The bolts restarted, but this time not attracted to the highest point on the field. This time, the bolts resembled pillars of energy that struck the ground, leaving small craters in their wake. They struck randomly, aiming at nothing inparticular.

Step 1, complete. As long as Agnores wasn't forced into Step 2, he would feel safe. Until Step 3, Tytun could feel safe.

Tytun
04-13-2010, 07:54 PM
Tytun slowly closed his eyes as the pillars of energy crashed into various points of the ground. Again, though his expression showed a perfect calmness, deep down he was starting to get agitated. This always happened when he fought against someone who was either ranged or magic-focused, since a melee battle always seemed pointless to them.

"... I suppose it's time to be serious," he finally spoke in an almost low whisper.

Immediately upon finishing his statement, his entire body started to glow with the light of his force energy. As it grew around him, the build-up of force was so tremendous that the ground encircling Tytun buckled underneath the pressure. Of course, to most accomplished fighters it would be obvious that he was still holding back his true strength. Then again, it's not as if he really wanted to kill Agnores, more like spend his time doing something entertaining... Still, the entertainment value was low considering how only magic was being thrown around. But, because Agnores actually came into melee range in an attempt to deal a crippling blow, Tytun decided to remind his opponent for it. Looking around now, he waited for the next attack...

Agnores
04-14-2010, 05:14 PM
Agnores had to keep himself from laughing as the energy around Tytun grew, eventually even destroying the ground under him. Energy? Against a Lightning Revenant? Agnores thought maybe Tytun had something else up his sleeve, but as Agnores was currently nothing buy energy himself, he didn't believe he had much to worry about.

Using the energy surrounding Tytun as a fuel source, he began to form bolts of electrical energy, zapping Tytun with them as they were formed. For good measure, Agnores also brought a pillar of electical energy down upon Tytun. He couldn't keep up these magical attacks forever, but he still had a lot left in him. And this was just the beginning.

Tytun
04-14-2010, 10:53 PM
With the energy field surrounding him, Tytun caught a glimpse to his left as an electrical bolt came his direction. ...Apparently, Agnores mistook his field as an amplifying field for his own magic. Raising his hand up with an uncanny speed, he, in literal terms, 'caught' the bolt and held it in place. Of course, since electricity cannot stop moving until grounded, the bolt practically collapsed on itself and formed a small ball of electricity in his left hand. Noticing the other bolts, he used his newly gained speed to perform the same counter on them, making the lightning ball in his bigger each time. By the time the last bolt was collapsed, his hand was immediately plastered into the ground to discharge the electricity to rid of the pesky magic. At that point, a pillar of electrical energy collapsed upon Tytun, scoring a direct hit... however, as he stood there in silence, it was noticed the pillar had too been stopped by his field. Since this one was more concentrated than the tiny bolts, it remained intact as its shocking grasp continued to poorly pummel at him. Raising his hands up and gripping the bottom end of the pillar, he lifted it up to reduce the pressure on him and then side-stepped out of the way, letting the pillar ground out into the field. Dusting off his hands for a moment, he then took a long look around the area. It wasn't that he expected to see Agnores (after all, he was probably hiding in his own field of magic), but more for something else...

Agnores
04-15-2010, 05:40 AM
Agnores watched confused for a second. Two things were definately impossible: That Tytun grabbed the electricity, and that he lifted up the pillar. catching the bolts was okay, they would have immediately grounded through him, arcing from his boots. The field may have weakened the pillar, but it wasn't solid. Did the field solidify the pillar? How do you solidify pure energy? Agnores at least knew then that using the pillar for attacks was useless, unless....

Agnores could use the constant bolts and pillar attacks to keep Tytun busy, at least for a bit. It seemed like Tytun was now blindingly fast, though no where up to Agnores' speed. Would it become a speed battle? Now that would be interesting, definately not something Norega had ever offered up before.

If Agnores was materialized, he would have frowned now. It was probably a reckless move to do what he was about to do, but if he could lure Tytun into a false sense of security, he could easily subdue him. Easily meaning if Tytun worked like any other person would...which was obviously not the case in most instances. Agnores felt his body recollect on the highest remaining point of the Colisseum, smiling down at Tytun. "...Three."

As Agnores reformed, he kept the bolts forming within Tytun's energy fields, along with a few more pillars. Two balls of electricity appeared in his hand, and Agnores began to throw, the electrical balls reappearing almsot as instantly as they had left. As each ball landed, whether on Tytun or on the ground around him, they stuck to where they landed, pulsated for a second, then exploded in electrical energy.

((Hope you enjoy that reference. ^.^))

Apparently, Agnores had caught on to the newly-found strength and speed of his opponent, because Tytun was now getting bombarded by many more lightning spears and pillars. Since his energy field acted like a barrier of sorts, he spent his time 'deflecting' the pillars, while the field took care of the meaningless spears. As about two pillars collided onto him at once, Tytun had to reposition himself for a moment, the slight difference in pressure noticed. As he lifted the pillars up, he suddenly felt something 'stick'. Of course, it wasn't on him but his field, but still he wasn't expecting anything sticking to it. Looking down, he saw two balls of electricity, one on the ground right by him and the other on his field. As soon as he blinked, the balls pulsated and unleashed an explosion. As soon as they exploded, Tytun was immediately shot back in a wild spin, causing into the coliseum wall nearby. For a moment, all that could be seen was the imprint his body had made in the wall, but soon afterward Tytun pulled himself out of it. Looking around, he saw Agnores high up on the only remaining point of high ground. It seemed that the field had soaked up the damage from the attack, but there were some bruising on Tytun's body showing that something had hit...

Agnores

Agnores simply continued to throw the exploding balls of electricity. It was all he could think to do, and if this idea didn't work to at least STOP Tytun, Agnores would just let himself die. He could feel Malice was angry at her knight's sudden disappearance, and she would definately want to know what just happened, and she would definately want to know about Tytun. She may even try to recruit him.

Agnores idly wondered what Pheonix she would offer to Tytun.

Sprinting forward from his resting position, Tytun almost immediately came into contact with another electrical sphere. Of course, it wasn't because he couldn't dodge it, more that he literally punched at it. Result: Sphere stuck to his hand and blew up. When that smoke cleared, his hand was bruised and seemed damaged, not like it would stop him. There had been a method to his madness, though. Primarily, it helped him realize that the spheres could stick to his energy. Secondarily, it revealed where his opponent was hiding.

Taking off, he began running in a strange pattern, always turning at the sight of a sphere. In a sense, it would seem as if Agnores had him trapped, but that was a farce. Each time he made several turns, his position always moved closer to his opponent's, making the sphere trajectories easier to calculate. Finally, as one sphere dropped at him, he immediately stopped and reared his fist. Throwing a punch at the sphere, he repeated the same thing he had done before, but this time the sphere actually flew off his hand back at Agnores. The reason behind it was that Tytun fired not the section of energy off with the sphere, thus separating it from him. As the sphere exploded and created a small debris field, Tytun was almost instantly seen coming from the smoke at his opponent. With his fist reared back and a powerful energy residue emitting from it, Tytun was ready to deal a devastating blow to his opponent. As he sent his fist towards Agnores' head, he wondered how he counter this...

Agnores looked surprised as Tytun's attack connected, and with devastating results. Tytun had connected with Agnores' chest, which their no longer remained much of. Agnores was sent flying backwards, his expression stuck in the surprised look he had given when Tytun jumped from the smoke.

It was over.

Almost instantly, however, Tytun was bombarded with 11 different lightning bolts, and whatever of Agnores' blood and bits of flesh that had then immediately eletrified. Agnores' particular lightning bolt went for something that would at least stun Tytun, and aimed all his electrical energy at Tytun's central nervous system, hoping to bring him done long enough for Agnores to talk to him. With no one dieing.

Tytun made one mistake when he attacked Agnores, and that brought about the endgame. As his fist connected with his opponent's chest, the barrier around his body folded from his body into his hand, sending quite possibly an energy wave of powerful proportions. As a result, Agnores was quickly sling-shotted away and Tytun body was suspecible to every single lightning counter. One such bolt managed to find it's way into a hidden wound, entering his body. Instead of attacking his heart as it traveled down his bloodstream, the electricity sprawled out and hit his nervous system.
In three seconds, Tytun collapsed to the ground unable to move. Although he didn't cry out in agony, there was a sound of muffled annoyance.

Agnores collected his real body outside of Tytun, and crouching. He stood up, and turned around.

"This fight is over. Kill me if you must, but I am not fighting you anymore. This fight is stupid and pointless. Do what you want."

Agnores simply began to walk in the other direction, not walking anywhere in particular.

Although he had just been electrocuted out of his ass from his opponent, there was no ill will harbored to Agnores. Instead, as his opponent walked off, Tytun remained in his lying position. This, of course, was mostly since he was still down from nerve blackout, but the rest of the reason was he didn't find the battle interesting as well. The two were different in so many ways, Tytun wishing to have battled someone more melee-based and Agnores obviously not interested in fighting at all.

After a struggle to get his head to look up, it was obvious his opponent had been injured during the fight. After all, it's hard not to notice an injury as big as a mashed-up back. Judging from its looks, Tytun knew that Agnores had been hit directly, but changed to electricity at the last possible second. In that case, his opponent wouldn't be going anywhere... not like that...

Slowly, Tytun's nerve began to return to him. By the time Agnores' random walk was near the coliseum wall, Tytun had regained enough control to do slow and simple movements. With that much regained, he stood up and looked at Agnores with the same blank as before.

Agnores smiled.

It was then that Agnores felt it. It was a feeling of having something stripped away from him, but Agnores couldn't quite place it. He stopped in his tracks, and turned back to Tytun. Was he attacking?

By the time Agnores turned to look at him, Tytun was busy looking down at his hand, seeming to adjust his grip. A moment ago, he had felt that something had been pulled from him, and that he now felt tired and worn out. Stretching his right hand out a bit, he then rammed his fist into the ground. ...Pain... No crash or destruction to the ground itself, only pain in his hand... Something was definitely not right. Shaking his hand off to nullify the pain, he looked back at Agnores.

Agnores watched Tytun punch the ground and....nothing happened. Wait...what? Why would Tytun's own attack affect him? That must mean...that Tytun wasn't attacking.

Something else was attacking them. Was it the gods who had summoned them here? But why would they attack? Was their battle not good enough? Agnores looked around, hoping maybe to find some sort of definitive clue as to what was going on.

How were they being attacked? Who was attacking them?

Seeing that Agnores didn't seem to have the answer to what had occurred, Tytun turned to look the other direction and simply stared off into space. He was unsure of what kind of magic had been cast upon them, and it wouldn't make sense for the god to take its amusement away... Whatever, he thought and then sat down in a meditative stance.

"What are you doing, Tytun?"

Agnores, though he strongly believed Tytun was not connected to the wierd feeling, he couldn't be sure. He held out his hand, intending to make it spark menacingly, when nothing happened.

Agnores froze, and stared at his hands. Nothing he did caused the sparks to appear. Nothing. He tried to summon bolts. Nothing. He tried to dissolve into electricity. Nothing. He had lost his powers. No, worse...he had lost his soul...and without that, he had less then 24 hours to exist.

"Tytun...What's going on?"

As he meditated, Tytun could hear Agnores speak. Whether it amused or baffled him he didn't show, but he noted how the other's voice changed from determination to complete fear. Tytun assumed that this was due to Agnores losing his magic properties, making him an easier target to beat... that is, if his own physical properties had not been taken away. He had never been so weak, so close to death itself... but... Slowly standing to his feet, he looked upon Agnores with a final determined look. Picking his katanas back up, he tossed one over to Agnores, who was now without a weapon. Once he did this, he held his katana up in a battle stance.

"Now, we finish this..." he said in a hoarse whisper before charging.

Agnores caught the katana, but was not prepared for Tytun's rush. He, for whatever reason, had believed Tytun was going to help him figure out what was going on...Of course Tytun would just want to end the battle.

However, Agnores wasn't used to melee fighting. He barely brought the katana up in time, and staggered backwards from the blow. However, Agnores noted that Tytun was no where near as strong as before. If he had been, Agnores would have likely been dead right now.

The katana felt wierd in his hand. It's weight was off, and Agnores knew he would not last in a fight with a guy who knew these weapons so much better. "Tytun, stop! This fight is stupid and pointless!"

The feel of the blow... The very slight distance his opponent had moved... Tytun grimaced at how much he had lost. Still...

"Don't back down."

This was all Tytun said as he swung his katana over his head, bringing it around and at Agnores' side.

Agnores

Instinctively, the katana came down and parried the attack. Agnores wasted no time shoulder rushing Tytun, an attempt to simply knock him to the ground.

"Tytun, this isn't a fair fight! Even if I could stand against you in a weapons fight, in 24 hours I'm just gonna stop existing anyway! Then how will you win your fight?"

Tytun
05-12-2010, 08:43 AM
The shoulder rush managed to do its intended effect, sending Tytun back a few feet on his back. Immediately, he kicked back up to his feet, switching the katana from his right hand to the left.

"Only when one of us dies will this fight end. If this fights continues, I will win by default. Don't let it be that easy."

It wasn't so much that Tytun didn't understand the words Agnores' spoken, but more that he was purposely ignoring him. The reason was he now had a much better reason to fight than before. It wasn't the chains that motivated Tytun now, it was Agnores' disrespect to a proper fight. To say that a fight is pointless was a direct insult to itself, and that alone made Tytun act upon it. In the end, it was simple: If Agnores did not kill him, Tytun would.
