"In this world, today, many stories to be told and retold, passed down from generation to generation. Stories of great times and heroes, stories of evil times and heroes. This one, my friends, is one that takes places years and years ago... It is the story of the Great Escape... "
Many seasons have passed, since the time of human beings. One day, they had been here.. and the next, they were gone. There was no notice, no warning, only a deathly silence that overcame the Earth. Then, Mother Nature blossomed and overcame the great mess the humans had left the Earth behind, and now, except for the bigger cities that just couldn't be hidden, at least, not complete, by any layer of vines, it was as though mankind had never set foot on the planet. But that didn't mean the end of dominance on the Earth. It was simply the end of mankind's time and the beginning of another time... That time, was the time of wolves.
Wolves, no longer prey to deforestation and hunters, quickly grew to be the one dominant species on the Earth. Great creatures identified by their Mark and their canine appearance, they now roam the earth, just like mankind once did, in wolf packs of all kinds. Prey and enemies once again run in fear, while allies greet them, with a friendly smile. It was either join them or be against them. To be against them was to fight a losing battle, for the wolves always had one advantage: Their supernatural powers. Nobody knows how the wolves gained their new powers, no one has bothered to ask. Some say the 'spirits of the wolf's ancestors' gave them each a gift, while others say they always had powers. Each wolf has his or her own powers. Powers so grand and unique. Powers to help aid each wolf on their journey through life. Powers to heal and restore nature back to what it was. With these powers, comes a great Mark, an unidentifiable shape upon each wolf's forehead, to remind him or her of the responsibility that comes with his or her powers. A responsibility to use them only for good. A responsibility to clean up the mess humans left behind.
But even among the peaceful wolf packs scattered all over the world, there is evil. Ambitious wolves who wish for more. Strong-willed wolves who wish to rule. They lurk within the safety of shadows of darkness, in the heart of their unsuspecting wolf packs. They awaited their time, eagerly but patiently. That time was beginning. Forests died mysteriously, and once-innocent deer, rabbits and other forest creatures turned into monsters and mutants of darkness and shadows of evil. Wherever they went, trouble followed and evil scattered its seeds. Packs that resisted and stood up to the "Shadowers", were struck down and packs that ran away, were hunted down, in eagerness to destroy the warning they carried with them. Vigilant like a shadow, the Shadower wolves traveled across the world, stamping out any resistance that greeted them and rushing after the rest of the fleeing packs.
That was four seasons ago.
Now, one year later, it is no longer wolf against wolf, but wolf versus nature. Places untouched by darkness or fire are scarce, the other wild animals, that weren't great shadow-y beasts grew extinct, and the wolf packs not yet dead or made into Shadowers are all but gone... except for one.
They chose to flee. Now, there is nowhere left to run. Shadowers are on their trail, as the Pack of Flames backs away into a corner, and they continue to fight the losing battle for survival. Nowhere left to run... Or so they think. In truth, there is one last place, where they will be safe. It is a long journey. They will have only each other and their powers to rely on. They know they won't all make it, but that won't stop them. But they have to try...

Your Part:
You are a wolf, a member of the last wolf pack on Earth, that isn't already plagued with dark powers and eerie shadows. You possess great powers, but these powers were originally meant for manipulating the earth, as to restore and heal it to its former beauty. You live in a lovely forest that is plentiful of prey, everything in this forest has never seen a shadow of darkness before... Until one day, when the Shadowers came. They destroyed your home, setting it on fire, and now, you are, with your family, friends and fellow pack members, are on the run from them. You can't run forever, for there is darkness all around you. You're being cornered, by Shadowers of all kinds. Once-shy deer who used to run, upon feeling you breathe, once-innocent rabbits who used to tremble, upon hearing you near, once-friendly wolves who used to grin, upon seeing you now. All coming to kill you.
You still have a chance to escape. But unless you know where to, you won't be able to escape the grasp of the Shadowers for long. Then, your leader, the Alpha Male named Bane, suddenly exits his temporary den and enters the temporary camp. Wolves all around draw closer, eager to hear what he has to say. In a greatly-weakened voice but that still roared with strength and determination, he announces... "It'll be a long journey... Some of us.. won't make it. But we must move on, in our journey. We will work together, no matter what. We will escape." He clears his throat. "We are going to the Place of the Spirits."

Some Wolf-ish Information:
a. A wolf's winter, or any wolf's season, means the season is much stronger than normal. E.g: A wolf's winter indicates a really cold, chilly winter, cooler and longer than normal.
b. A Mark of power is a mark every wolf, with powers, has. It is usually around one eye, on either one of the hips, anywhere around the neck, on either side of the wolf or on the flank, and is only visible after the wolf's powers have been realised and she or he has accepted them. Its shape is very undefined, and rumour has it that it changes over time, but most of the time, it looks like a swirl with a dot. It can be any colour.
c. The Place of the Spirits is a large area in the northern hemisphere, where the aurora borealis can be seen. There will be snow and some ice. There are also trees with and without leaves during the winter. It is a beautiful flower haven in spring.
d. Becoming a fully-trained Brave means mastering five combat moves the Alpha (Bane) sets for each young Brave, as well as completing a successful and abundant prey hunt by themselves. The prey hunt, however, is given less importance (due to the Alpha not being very good at hunting, himself). The young Braves may ask any and every wolf Brave or Elder to help to teach them.
e. Wolf Elders are wolf Braves who have stepped down from their Brave rank, to become an elder, for a good reason (injury, age, etc). Their duties as teachers, hunters and protectors will lessen, but not stop completely, depending on age and health status.
f. Shadow creatures and Shadower wolves can be killed if they withdraw or retreat from battle of their own will, or if they lose their sight.

2. Absolutely no god-modding or gary/mary-sueing please. They drives me nuts. I hate nuts so please don't do it. Also, on another note, not all of the wolves will be making it all the way to the Place of the Spirits. There will be many life-or-death situations along the way, and if you feel like 'killing' off one of your characters (as murderous as that sounds) at some point, notify me in advance (preferably through PM) and we can discuss it. Feel free to make more than one character, if you want to keep roleplaying after 'killing' one of them.

And IF you want to take me up on a little roleplaying challenge, express at least two different emotions your character is feeling, in every roleplay post, through any means, other than speech and thought-speech. A powerful-looking wolf, Bane is pretty well-built (for a wolf), with muscular legs, well-developped from constantly hunting prey and fleeing from Shadowers. Larger than most wolves, he possesses four large paws, all of which are strong enough to crush from rocks, udnerneath them. However, his pawpads often harden and freeze, due to the wolf winter's frost, making it painful to walk even. His long and lengthy pelt is mangy and gray, in colour, highlighted with white streaks and tinged with a darker shade of gray-black. Due to his camouflageing fur coat, he is able to hunt exceptionally well, during winter. This advantage, however, often backfires when rabbits, deer and other prey animals spot hsi graying muzzle from a ten-wolf distance away, during the other seasons. he often winds up watching his prey disappear, even before he reveals the rest of him, with sorrowful gray eyes. But even as a terrible hunter, he still wisely leads his pack, faifthfully, his brown Mark of power around his left eye, glowing brighter everyday.
Personality: Mysteriously wise and courageous, Bane leads his pack safely out of all the dangers that they happen to stumble on. Making clever though not necessarily practical nor logical decisions when he is needed to, he makes sure everything in the pack is running smoothly, the way it should. As a result, he often chooses to meddle in affairs that he thinks to be suspicious or worth investigating, and most the time, though most definitely not always, he turns out to be right. He watches all of his pack members carefully, giving each the special attention (e.g: Listening to Silverglade rant about not being strong enough to push forward) he or she needs, and making sure everything works out. He thinks strategetically, especially in battle, and as he grows to be more strong-willed, he always chooses what is best for his pack.
Relations: Maya (crush); Kamatayan (father?); Arlio (brother); Quar (adopted/foster son); Open for every type of relation. Trying to avoid incest by all means.
Powers: Using three-quarters gesture, and one quarter emotions, Bane is able to control the flow of water, as to shape it into all forms such as weapons, (e.g: a whip of water)and shields (e.g: a forcefield of water). He can also direct the water onto plants, as to heal and restore them, or onto enemies, to vanquish them, literally. The only flaw is that he must be near water or a form of water (e.g: gas, ice, etc). Having had a wolf with the very same power for a mentor, a rare coincidence, he is an expert at water-waving.
Weaknesses: Bane, an Alpha Male, is terrible at intercepting prey. Apart from that, he also tends to ignore his own injuries, preferring to tend to his pack first. While the latter is to be expected from an Alpha male, he always conveniently 'forgets' about his own injuries afterwards, refusing to let a healer wolf touch him, until his pack is nursed back to health.
Other: He has a habit of inventing complicated battle moves, for the young Wolf Braves to master. Once they have mastered five moves (each different for every wolf), he dubs them a worthy Brave.

Small for her age, Silverglade had been a weak wolf pup when she was born, and as a result, she tends to be frailer than the other wolves of her age and not as strong. However, thanks to her light frame, she is very agile and easily speeds through all sorts of terrain, with unusually enduring stamina. She can also sneak in and out of battles, easily, making her an excellent messenger wolf. This advantage, however, is rendered useless if any opponents should happen to notice her, for she is unable to fight very well, should they catch up with her and her powers are often useless, in times of battle. Her medium-length fur is a soft shade of sand brown, that ripples peacefully upon feeling the wind brush by it. Her Mark (of power) is located on her left hind leg, blue in colour, appearing to be burned into her fur. Her eyes are a gentle and warm-looking shade of light blue, and are constantly filled with a dreary but cheerful twinkle, forever darting around curiously. They are also the main reason why she looks so much different from her cobalt-blue-eyed family.
Personality: Ever so adventurous but understanding, Silverglade looks up to her elders and respects her leaders and fellow wolves. Outgoing yet careful of every step she takes, she is always eager to do anything she can to aid her pack. However, due to her constant fraility, she is sometimes forced to slow down, and this sometimes tests her patience, though she understands perfectly why her family would often worry for her health. She possesses one of the shortest attention spans in the whole pack, and never really knows when to focus (or when to act serious either). She is eager to learn all that she can but often impatient to do so. She is also very optimistic and she has learned, over the seasons, to remain cheerful throughout all situations, though she is not always very good at doing such.
Relations: Maya and Fel (kin); Quar (best friend);
Powers: Through emotions and paw gestures, Silverglade possesses control over the weather. A flick of a tail can stop a tornado and a waving paw can hold back cold winter winds. She, however, hasn't fully mastered this talent of hers, and thus, is often reluctant to use it, afraid that she might injure her pack instead. This power is also absolutely useless in battle.
Weaknesses: Frail ever since she was born, she has trouble keeping up with her pack, in things such as traveling slowly, fighting and hunting. However, she pushes herself to do the fore-mentioned activities anyway, often exhausting herself.
Other: She has an unusual fascination with natural herbs, often using them to tend to injuries of others, making her an amateur but fairly experienced healer. However, she is allergic to some occasionally-vital herbs, thus being unable to use them or even get near them.

Appearance: Her coat is a rich ebony with a single marking on her face--a golden streak running through the fur between her blue eyes to the tip of her nose. The streak resembles a lightening bolt. Her body is stream-lined and sleek. A long scar runs down the length of her right rear leg--evidence of an old injury inflicted by the Shadowers.
Personality: Maya is the black sheep of her family, refusing to abide by the pack's laws. She is a wanderer and tends to be very stubborn and wild-spirited. Loyal only to her immediate family, she has refused to mate with the alpha male--causing strife within the pack.
Relations: Members of her family are distinguished by their cobalt blue eyes. Within her pack resides her mother and and three siblings. Her father died when the shadowers first began to pursue them--fighting to save the lives of the pack.
Powers: Maya possesses the ability to give strength/energy to weak individuals. She cannot heal, but can give the injured the energy to keep going despite their disabilities/weaknesses. This gift is delivered from her as a bolt of energy which is transferred to the recipient when she places her jaw over theirs.
Weaknesses: Maya has a very short temper and has very little patience for the younger wolves' foolishness. She is not as fast as many of the others in her pack due to an injury in her hind leg which causes a slight limp.
Other: Due to her wander-lust, Maya is a scout for the pack. She enjoys her solitude and often is gone for days at a time.

Skoll, as seen in the image above, is in peak physical condition, powerful muscle rippling beneath that fur. One eye is the traditional feral yellow-gold while the other is a somber blue-grey due to the scar that crawls across the right side of his face. When he gets consumed by Rage, both eyes glow hellish red as seen in the provided image.
Personality: Skoll is an ambitious young adult. He seeks to impress the females just as much as the Alpha, to show his worth and value to the Pack on a daily basis. One more than one occasion, this desire to prove his worth and gain some sense of glory has gotten him into trouble, and he has a fine collection of scars to prove his narrow escapes from death. Despite his impulsive, albeit aggressive demeanor, he is shy around those he has an attraction to. He is the personality type that will persist until they have either achieved their goal or died trying.
Has a iron-clad sense of honor and will always stand by what he believes, even if what he believes may not be the most popular belief, even if everyone else thinks it wrong.
Relations: Skoll is extremely attracted to Maya. Whenever he does something impulsive and/or rash or dangerous, he is usually doing it to catch her eyes and have her consider him for a mate. However, Skoll is also attracted to Blair Rhona and is having a hard time making up his mind on who to choose between her and Maya He is of that age, after all.
Then there is Bane. Skoll studies Bane constantly, observing the Alpha's movements like a he would a herd of elk, trying to find the weakest link. Skoll wants to be the Alpha Male, the desire for such rank burns in his blood. If he has to fight Bane for that title, he will, but Skoll would prefer to not transgress that far.
As far as family goes, Skoll's elder brother, Kaine, betrayed them, killing their youngest siblings and their father. He did terrible things to their mother, and took the sight from Skoll's right eye. Because of this, Skoll values family over anything. Because of this, Skoll hates all Shadowers with a fiery passion that threatens to make him one of them. Skoll now cares for his mother daily. The poor female has not said a single word since the night her eldest son betrayed them and.... did things... to her. She is a constant reminder of what Kaine did, and the sight of her fills Skoll with bitter, burning anger and cold sorrow. Her condition is steadily declining over the past few years. Though she is not terribly old, she her stubborn spirit is fading, as is her grip on life.
Powers:
Steel Wolf: Skoll's teeth and claws are harder than steel, and the power in which he can apply to them is strong enough to turn stone to gravel. His musculature is mighty, making him a force to be reckoned with in a fight or a hunt. His strength makes his capable of mighty physical feats.
Rage of the Ancients: The angrier Skoll gets, his eyes will start to glow red, and his strength will multiply depending on the strength of his rage. This ability is a mainly fueled by the Fight or Flight mechanism, and he almost always chooses fight. The Rage is made greater the closer Skoll is do defeat, his stubbornness making him that much more dangerous and lethal with every drop of blood he looses.
Weaknesses: Skoll forgets his limits, thinking himself invulnerable. He will get himself into situations he is not prepared for or put himself up against a foe that is much stronger than himself. After being consumed by the Rage, Skoll is very weak.
He is also partially blind in his right eye.

Personality: Not impulsive like some wolves, but works hard to prove her worth. She will do anything to save those close to her, especially the pack. She is kind to pups, but hard on those closer to her age. Blair looks up to the Alpha Male Bane for his strength. However, she isn't the type to find glory or make the pack look up to her. Blair only wants to maintain survival of herself and everyone. Life must go on, as she learned from her deceased older brother. Don't get on her wrong side, she can be bitter when she sees immaturity. Blair also believes in personal respect, self honor, but she will break it if in dire situations. She is very determined and strong willed as well.
Relations: Blair's past has always been a mystery. She was found by the pack with her older brother when she was only 4 seasons. They were starved and on the brink of savageness. One day after a few seasons of mingling with the pack, her brother disappeared on a hunting mission. A piece of his fur was found near a cliff. He was called dead and forever changed Blair. She knows Bane as a great leader and friend. Many of the other wolves see her as strange because of her peculiar coat color. She has eyed Skoll at times, whose grown in a fine male wolf. Many still don't trust her because of her past and ability.
Powers: Lunar Psyche: Blair has what are called moon dreams. Dreams when the subconscious mind gets images of the future or dangers.
Moon's Breeze: Blair can control wind. Gusts and currents. Cutting with wind.
Moon Form: When in the presence of the moon during a time of danger or need she feels the presence of the moon through her soul. Her lunar psyche increases and her marks transcend to an ancient marking. Increase of Moon's breeze power. This ability is still a complete mystery and has hidden properties.
Weaknesses: Blair's temper may be difficult, especially with her moon form. During moon form she will be more her inner wolf. She needs to control it better. After moon form she loses consciousness. Moon dreams cause loss of sleep afterward and huge headaches. Taming wind is very difficult. Many seasons took to practice. Her desire to save others will cause her pain. She is willing to sacrifice her life for others.
Other: Her brother might not be dead *wink wink nudge nudge*. His name can be chosen later on

Age: 17 Moons
Gender: Male
Rank: Young Wolf Brave
Appearance: Fel has an almost pure white coat the only exemption are the tip of his tail, which is gray, and his legs, which is a gradient of gray at the top and black at the paws. Fel's eyes are a cold cobalt but change to
pale orange under stress.
Personality: Probably the less passionate, bland wolf in the pack. Fel has the kind of emotion bond that most cubs wish their mother had, in fact, the most emotion he has shown is using his gift. At that moment when he has it active he personality becomes almost completely opposite. Fel becomes dark, often angry, and rash.
Relations: Being the middle sibling of Maya's family as well being perfectly health, Fel often ignored. He became indifferent because of this, thus allowing him to be a devil's advocate to plans and like a psychiatrist to the pack.
Powers: Fel has the power to create illusions and can cause mental damage on enemies but, it cause intense strain on his mind. Fel can only create illusions for thirty minutes at the most and can only mental attack one person for a minute before passing out and bleed out of his mouth, ears, and snout.
Weaknesses: His power is his greatest weakness, for even though Fel can only create illusions for short amount they can create themselves. Fel's mind can sometimes play tricks on him and Fel often refers to his power as a different person.
Other: His other doesn't have a name yet but I'll probably think of one in the course of role playing.
Blue: the color intermediate between green and violet light. As well as Fireleap's favorite color in this thread.

Name: Ahn
Age: 68 seasons, and 3 moons.
Gender: Male
Rank: Wolf Brave
Appearance: Ahn is a powerful looking beast, a wolf made of muscles toned through countless hunting excersions, and duels with pack mates, and also the occasional Shadower whom may have strolled in the warrior path.
A solid, and roughly patched Gray and White fur makes up the image of a well seasoned wolf. Eyes like the Moon are the true unqiue things about Ahn, though others in the pack like tosay other wise. Alas, other than
a lack of careful grooming, a long ragged line is forever carved into the Wolf's side, from chest to flank.
Personality: Ahn is a Wolf of Action, rather than words. Hunting, Dueling, Killing, these are what make Ahn; "Words are meant to either inspire or cause despair, I leave them to the Alpha" Is Ahn's only answer to why
he chooses not to speak as much as the others. Though he gives an air of Strength, and is known for his Blood-Lust in a fight, Ahn is a calm and undoubtably carring Wolf. He'd rather slay a Shadower for stepping on a
flower, than because his life is on the line. Not many in hte Pack truly understand Ahn, and that is how Ahn prefers it.
Relations: Pups and Elders are the only ones Ahn prefers to share company with. Weak, and Young are what Ahn seek, so that he may "teach" them to over come their weaknesses, or simply Learn from their inexperience. A few of the females have made attempts for Ahn, but alas the Brave shares his heart with none. All family ties have long since perished, except for his grandfather, whom Ahn tends to frequently.
Powers: Ahn's preference to silence reflects on his Gift to move the Earth around him. From boulders, to tree's, and even metals left in the depth of the earth. " Earth-Tongue Ahn" is his Title since, like the Earth,
Ahn speaks little, yet says much to those who understand.
Weaknesses: Ahn terror of water, and fire are what made him turn away from speaking as he did as a pup. During his first Hunt, Ahn had chased a doe deep into the forests, and after losing its trail, the pup had managed to
be spooked and fell into an underground waterway, which had drug him all the way into the lake. The Shadower attack left Ahn dreadful of Fire as well, and to this day, Ahn will not near a body of water larger than himself, nor
will the Wolf Brave gaze into a flame. Another, more physical weakness, of the Hunter, is his inability to fully bend to the left due to his scar.
Other: The Scar was caused during the Shadower assault, as Ahn had attempted to defend his home den. Ahn's Mark is almost unseen as it blends into the gray of his fur. Its image is an ancient willow, with each of its branches

Kamatayan is a caring and kind wolf however don't cross his path the wrong way or you'll find yourself on the ground. He doesn't take back talk of any kind but follows the rules of the Alpha. He aims to please but at the same time won't allow others to walk over him. He is very protective of both the Alpha and the pack.
Strong Willed and Determined are words the describe Kamatayan best. He isn't your average wolf, his colored fur indicates that he is not of the area but that doesn't hold him back. He isn't one to beat himself up if he does something wrong, he simply smiles about it and trains to do better the next time.

Personality: Shy, and usually energetic. While he wishes to display affection for Silverglade openly, he is scared of how she will react. He is on a more diplomatic approach of things rather than brute force, which leads him to be a bit of a coward overall. Is paranoid in the dark as he fears he will be attacked, putting him in a state of fear of the dark. Which for being the alphas kin, isn't a great combination. While he is proud of the position, he also wishes he wasn't as he isn't the leader type that came as natural to his father.
Relations: a bit fond of eyeing Silverglade, but reluctant in admitting it to her.
He is also the alphas kin.
Powers: Through the transfer of his own energy, he can create small plants and shrubs. Able to enlarge them on other times. (fatigues him, and on larger attempts, it causes him to pass out)
Weaknesses: While he conjures the plants and shrubs, he is vaunerable as he is motionless, but this also causes him to be more suspectable to some illnesses if used too much.
His crush that he has on Silverglade tends to put him in a few situations that he personally wouldn't get into, including the sense to protect her, even though it may be him who may need some protection.
Other: Often seen messing around with his powers to make small designs with flowers. He has a natural sense of hunting, but dislikes the death cry of his prey.

Many seasons have passed, since the time of human beings. One day, they had been here.. and the next, they were gone. There was no notice, no warning, only a deathly silence that overcame the Earth. Then, Mother Nature blossomed and overcame the great mess the humans had left the Earth behind, and now, except for the bigger cities that just couldn't be hidden, at least, not complete, by any layer of vines, it was as though mankind had never set foot on the planet. But that didn't mean the end of dominance on the Earth. It was simply the end of mankind's time and the beginning of another time... That time, was the time of wolves.
Wolves, no longer prey to deforestation and hunters, quickly grew to be the one dominant species on the Earth. Great creatures identified by their Mark and their canine appearance, they now roam the earth, just like mankind once did, in wolf packs of all kinds. Prey and enemies once again run in fear, while allies greet them, with a friendly smile. It was either join them or be against them. To be against them was to fight a losing battle, for the wolves always had one advantage: Their supernatural powers. Nobody knows how the wolves gained their new powers, no one has bothered to ask. Some say the 'spirits of the wolf's ancestors' gave them each a gift, while others say they always had powers. Each wolf has his or her own powers. Powers so grand and unique. Powers to help aid each wolf on their journey through life. Powers to heal and restore nature back to what it was. With these powers, comes a great Mark, an unidentifiable shape upon each wolf's forehead, to remind him or her of the responsibility that comes with his or her powers. A responsibility to use them only for good. A responsibility to clean up the mess humans left behind.
But even among the peaceful wolf packs scattered all over the world, there is evil. Ambitious wolves who wish for more. Strong-willed wolves who wish to rule. They lurk within the safety of shadows of darkness, in the heart of their unsuspecting wolf packs. They awaited their time, eagerly but patiently. That time was beginning. Forests died mysteriously, and once-innocent deer, rabbits and other forest creatures turned into monsters and mutants of darkness and shadows of evil. Wherever they went, trouble followed and evil scattered its seeds. Packs that resisted and stood up to the "Shadowers", were struck down and packs that ran away, were hunted down, in eagerness to destroy the warning they carried with them. Vigilant like a shadow, the Shadower wolves traveled across the world, stamping out any resistance that greeted them and rushing after the rest of the fleeing packs.
That was four seasons ago.
Now, one year later, it is no longer wolf against wolf, but wolf versus nature. Places untouched by darkness or fire are scarce, the other wild animals, that weren't great shadow-y beasts grew extinct, and the wolf packs not yet dead or made into Shadowers are all but gone... except for one.
They chose to flee. Now, there is nowhere left to run. Shadowers are on their trail, as the Pack of Flames backs away into a corner, and they continue to fight the losing battle for survival. Nowhere left to run... Or so they think. In truth, there is one last place, where they will be safe. It is a long journey. They will have only each other and their powers to rely on. They know they won't all make it, but that won't stop them. But they have to try...

Your Part:
You are a wolf, a member of the last wolf pack on Earth, that isn't already plagued with dark powers and eerie shadows. You possess great powers, but these powers were originally meant for manipulating the earth, as to restore and heal it to its former beauty. You live in a lovely forest that is plentiful of prey, everything in this forest has never seen a shadow of darkness before... Until one day, when the Shadowers came. They destroyed your home, setting it on fire, and now, you are, with your family, friends and fellow pack members, are on the run from them. You can't run forever, for there is darkness all around you. You're being cornered, by Shadowers of all kinds. Once-shy deer who used to run, upon feeling you breathe, once-innocent rabbits who used to tremble, upon hearing you near, once-friendly wolves who used to grin, upon seeing you now. All coming to kill you.
You still have a chance to escape. But unless you know where to, you won't be able to escape the grasp of the Shadowers for long. Then, your leader, the Alpha Male named Bane, suddenly exits his temporary den and enters the temporary camp. Wolves all around draw closer, eager to hear what he has to say. In a greatly-weakened voice but that still roared with strength and determination, he announces... "It'll be a long journey... Some of us.. won't make it. But we must move on, in our journey. We will work together, no matter what. We will escape." He clears his throat. "We are going to the Place of the Spirits."

Some Wolf-ish Information:
a. A wolf's winter, or any wolf's season, means the season is much stronger than normal. E.g: A wolf's winter indicates a really cold, chilly winter, cooler and longer than normal.
b. A Mark of power is a mark every wolf, with powers, has. It is usually around one eye, on either one of the hips, anywhere around the neck, on either side of the wolf or on the flank, and is only visible after the wolf's powers have been realised and she or he has accepted them. Its shape is very undefined, and rumour has it that it changes over time, but most of the time, it looks like a swirl with a dot. It can be any colour.
c. The Place of the Spirits is a large area in the northern hemisphere, where the aurora borealis can be seen. There will be snow and some ice. There are also trees with and without leaves during the winter. It is a beautiful flower haven in spring.
d. Becoming a fully-trained Brave means mastering five combat moves the Alpha (Bane) sets for each young Brave, as well as completing a successful and abundant prey hunt by themselves. The prey hunt, however, is given less importance (due to the Alpha not being very good at hunting, himself). The young Braves may ask any and every wolf Brave or Elder to help to teach them.
e. Wolf Elders are wolf Braves who have stepped down from their Brave rank, to become an elder, for a good reason (injury, age, etc). Their duties as teachers, hunters and protectors will lessen, but not stop completely, depending on age and health status.
f. Shadow creatures and Shadower wolves can be killed if they withdraw or retreat from battle of their own will, or if they lose their sight.

A powerful-looking wolf, Bane is pretty well-built (for a wolf), with muscular legs, well-developped from constantly hunting prey and fleeing from Shadowers. Larger than most wolves, he possesses four large paws, all of which are strong enough to crush from rocks, udnerneath them. However, his pawpads often harden and freeze, due to the wolf winter's frost, making it painful to walk even. His long and lengthy pelt is mangy and gray, in colour, highlighted with white streaks and tinged with a darker shade of gray-black. Due to his camouflageing fur coat, he is able to hunt exceptionally well, during winter. This advantage, however, often backfires when rabbits, deer and other prey animals spot hsi graying muzzle from a ten-wolf distance away, during the other seasons. he often winds up watching his prey disappear, even before he reveals the rest of him, with sorrowful gray eyes. But even as a terrible hunter, he still wisely leads his pack, faifthfully, his brown Mark of power around his left eye, glowing brighter everyday.
Personality: Mysteriously wise and courageous, Bane leads his pack safely out of all the dangers that they happen to stumble on. Making clever though not necessarily practical nor logical decisions when he is needed to, he makes sure everything in the pack is running smoothly, the way it should. As a result, he often chooses to meddle in affairs that he thinks to be suspicious or worth investigating, and most the time, though most definitely not always, he turns out to be right. He watches all of his pack members carefully, giving each the special attention (e.g: Listening to Silverglade rant about not being strong enough to push forward) he or she needs, and making sure everything works out. He thinks strategetically, especially in battle, and as he grows to be more strong-willed, he always chooses what is best for his pack.
Relations: Maya (crush); Kamatayan (father?); Arlio (brother); Quar (adopted/foster son); Open for every type of relation. Trying to avoid incest by all means.
Powers: Using three-quarters gesture, and one quarter emotions, Bane is able to control the flow of water, as to shape it into all forms such as weapons, (e.g: a whip of water)and shields (e.g: a forcefield of water). He can also direct the water onto plants, as to heal and restore them, or onto enemies, to vanquish them, literally. The only flaw is that he must be near water or a form of water (e.g: gas, ice, etc). Having had a wolf with the very same power for a mentor, a rare coincidence, he is an expert at water-waving.
Weaknesses: Bane, an Alpha Male, is terrible at intercepting prey. Apart from that, he also tends to ignore his own injuries, preferring to tend to his pack first. While the latter is to be expected from an Alpha male, he always conveniently 'forgets' about his own injuries afterwards, refusing to let a healer wolf touch him, until his pack is nursed back to health.
Other: He has a habit of inventing complicated battle moves, for the young Wolf Braves to master. Once they have mastered five moves (each different for every wolf), he dubs them a worthy Brave.

Small for her age, Silverglade had been a weak wolf pup when she was born, and as a result, she tends to be frailer than the other wolves of her age and not as strong. However, thanks to her light frame, she is very agile and easily speeds through all sorts of terrain, with unusually enduring stamina. She can also sneak in and out of battles, easily, making her an excellent messenger wolf. This advantage, however, is rendered useless if any opponents should happen to notice her, for she is unable to fight very well, should they catch up with her and her powers are often useless, in times of battle. Her medium-length fur is a soft shade of sand brown, that ripples peacefully upon feeling the wind brush by it. Her Mark (of power) is located on her left hind leg, blue in colour, appearing to be burned into her fur. Her eyes are a gentle and warm-looking shade of light blue, and are constantly filled with a dreary but cheerful twinkle, forever darting around curiously. They are also the main reason why she looks so much different from her cobalt-blue-eyed family.
Personality: Ever so adventurous but understanding, Silverglade looks up to her elders and respects her leaders and fellow wolves. Outgoing yet careful of every step she takes, she is always eager to do anything she can to aid her pack. However, due to her constant fraility, she is sometimes forced to slow down, and this sometimes tests her patience, though she understands perfectly why her family would often worry for her health. She possesses one of the shortest attention spans in the whole pack, and never really knows when to focus (or when to act serious either). She is eager to learn all that she can but often impatient to do so. She is also very optimistic and she has learned, over the seasons, to remain cheerful throughout all situations, though she is not always very good at doing such.
Relations: Maya and Fel (kin); Quar (best friend);
Powers: Through emotions and paw gestures, Silverglade possesses control over the weather. A flick of a tail can stop a tornado and a waving paw can hold back cold winter winds. She, however, hasn't fully mastered this talent of hers, and thus, is often reluctant to use it, afraid that she might injure her pack instead. This power is also absolutely useless in battle.
Weaknesses: Frail ever since she was born, she has trouble keeping up with her pack, in things such as traveling slowly, fighting and hunting. However, she pushes herself to do the fore-mentioned activities anyway, often exhausting herself.
Other: She has an unusual fascination with natural herbs, often using them to tend to injuries of others, making her an amateur but fairly experienced healer. However, she is allergic to some occasionally-vital herbs, thus being unable to use them or even get near them.

Appearance: Her coat is a rich ebony with a single marking on her face--a golden streak running through the fur between her blue eyes to the tip of her nose. The streak resembles a lightening bolt. Her body is stream-lined and sleek. A long scar runs down the length of her right rear leg--evidence of an old injury inflicted by the Shadowers.
Personality: Maya is the black sheep of her family, refusing to abide by the pack's laws. She is a wanderer and tends to be very stubborn and wild-spirited. Loyal only to her immediate family, she has refused to mate with the alpha male--causing strife within the pack.
Relations: Members of her family are distinguished by their cobalt blue eyes. Within her pack resides her mother and and three siblings. Her father died when the shadowers first began to pursue them--fighting to save the lives of the pack.
Powers: Maya possesses the ability to give strength/energy to weak individuals. She cannot heal, but can give the injured the energy to keep going despite their disabilities/weaknesses. This gift is delivered from her as a bolt of energy which is transferred to the recipient when she places her jaw over theirs.
Weaknesses: Maya has a very short temper and has very little patience for the younger wolves' foolishness. She is not as fast as many of the others in her pack due to an injury in her hind leg which causes a slight limp.
Other: Due to her wander-lust, Maya is a scout for the pack. She enjoys her solitude and often is gone for days at a time.

Skoll, as seen in the image above, is in peak physical condition, powerful muscle rippling beneath that fur. One eye is the traditional feral yellow-gold while the other is a somber blue-grey due to the scar that crawls across the right side of his face. When he gets consumed by Rage, both eyes glow hellish red as seen in the provided image.
Personality: Skoll is an ambitious young adult. He seeks to impress the females just as much as the Alpha, to show his worth and value to the Pack on a daily basis. One more than one occasion, this desire to prove his worth and gain some sense of glory has gotten him into trouble, and he has a fine collection of scars to prove his narrow escapes from death. Despite his impulsive, albeit aggressive demeanor, he is shy around those he has an attraction to. He is the personality type that will persist until they have either achieved their goal or died trying.
Has a iron-clad sense of honor and will always stand by what he believes, even if what he believes may not be the most popular belief, even if everyone else thinks it wrong.
Relations: Skoll is extremely attracted to Maya. Whenever he does something impulsive and/or rash or dangerous, he is usually doing it to catch her eyes and have her consider him for a mate. However, Skoll is also attracted to Blair Rhona and is having a hard time making up his mind on who to choose between her and Maya He is of that age, after all.
Then there is Bane. Skoll studies Bane constantly, observing the Alpha's movements like a he would a herd of elk, trying to find the weakest link. Skoll wants to be the Alpha Male, the desire for such rank burns in his blood. If he has to fight Bane for that title, he will, but Skoll would prefer to not transgress that far.
As far as family goes, Skoll's elder brother, Kaine, betrayed them, killing their youngest siblings and their father. He did terrible things to their mother, and took the sight from Skoll's right eye. Because of this, Skoll values family over anything. Because of this, Skoll hates all Shadowers with a fiery passion that threatens to make him one of them. Skoll now cares for his mother daily. The poor female has not said a single word since the night her eldest son betrayed them and.... did things... to her. She is a constant reminder of what Kaine did, and the sight of her fills Skoll with bitter, burning anger and cold sorrow. Her condition is steadily declining over the past few years. Though she is not terribly old, she her stubborn spirit is fading, as is her grip on life.
Powers:
Steel Wolf: Skoll's teeth and claws are harder than steel, and the power in which he can apply to them is strong enough to turn stone to gravel. His musculature is mighty, making him a force to be reckoned with in a fight or a hunt. His strength makes his capable of mighty physical feats.
Rage of the Ancients: The angrier Skoll gets, his eyes will start to glow red, and his strength will multiply depending on the strength of his rage. This ability is a mainly fueled by the Fight or Flight mechanism, and he almost always chooses fight. The Rage is made greater the closer Skoll is do defeat, his stubbornness making him that much more dangerous and lethal with every drop of blood he looses.
Weaknesses: Skoll forgets his limits, thinking himself invulnerable. He will get himself into situations he is not prepared for or put himself up against a foe that is much stronger than himself. After being consumed by the Rage, Skoll is very weak.
He is also partially blind in his right eye.

Personality: Not impulsive like some wolves, but works hard to prove her worth. She will do anything to save those close to her, especially the pack. She is kind to pups, but hard on those closer to her age. Blair looks up to the Alpha Male Bane for his strength. However, she isn't the type to find glory or make the pack look up to her. Blair only wants to maintain survival of herself and everyone. Life must go on, as she learned from her deceased older brother. Don't get on her wrong side, she can be bitter when she sees immaturity. Blair also believes in personal respect, self honor, but she will break it if in dire situations. She is very determined and strong willed as well.
Relations: Blair's past has always been a mystery. She was found by the pack with her older brother when she was only 4 seasons. They were starved and on the brink of savageness. One day after a few seasons of mingling with the pack, her brother disappeared on a hunting mission. A piece of his fur was found near a cliff. He was called dead and forever changed Blair. She knows Bane as a great leader and friend. Many of the other wolves see her as strange because of her peculiar coat color. She has eyed Skoll at times, whose grown in a fine male wolf. Many still don't trust her because of her past and ability.
Powers: Lunar Psyche: Blair has what are called moon dreams. Dreams when the subconscious mind gets images of the future or dangers.
Moon's Breeze: Blair can control wind. Gusts and currents. Cutting with wind.
Moon Form: When in the presence of the moon during a time of danger or need she feels the presence of the moon through her soul. Her lunar psyche increases and her marks transcend to an ancient marking. Increase of Moon's breeze power. This ability is still a complete mystery and has hidden properties.
Weaknesses: Blair's temper may be difficult, especially with her moon form. During moon form she will be more her inner wolf. She needs to control it better. After moon form she loses consciousness. Moon dreams cause loss of sleep afterward and huge headaches. Taming wind is very difficult. Many seasons took to practice. Her desire to save others will cause her pain. She is willing to sacrifice her life for others.

Appearance: Fel has an almost pure white coat the only exemption are the tip of his tail, which is gray, and his legs, which is a gradient of gray at the top and black at the paws. Fel's eyes are a cold cobalt but change to
pale orange under stress.
Personality: Probably the less passionate, bland wolf in the pack. Fel has the kind of emotion bond that most cubs wish their mother had, in fact, the most emotion he has shown is using his gift. At that moment when he has it active he personality becomes almost completely opposite. Fel becomes dark, often angry, and rash.
Relations: Being the middle sibling of Maya's family as well being perfectly health, Fel often ignored. He became indifferent because of this, thus allowing him to be a devil's advocate to plans and like a psychiatrist to the pack.
Powers: Fel has the power to create illusions and can cause mental damage on enemies but, it cause intense strain on his mind. Fel can only create illusions for thirty minutes at the most and can only mental attack one person for a minute before passing out and bleed out of his mouth, ears, and snout.
Weaknesses: His power is his greatest weakness, for even though Fel can only create illusions for short amount they can create themselves. Fel's mind can sometimes play tricks on him and Fel often refers to his power as a different person.
Other: His other doesn't have a name yet but I'll probably think of one in the course of role playing.

Appearance: Ahn is a powerful looking beast, a wolf made of muscles toned through countless hunting excersions, and duels with pack mates, and also the occasional Shadower whom may have strolled in the warrior path.
A solid, and roughly patched Gray and White fur makes up the image of a well seasoned wolf. Eyes like the Moon are the true unqiue things about Ahn, though others in the pack like tosay other wise. Alas, other than
a lack of careful grooming, a long ragged line is forever carved into the Wolf's side, from chest to flank.
Personality: Ahn is a Wolf of Action, rather than words. Hunting, Dueling, Killing, these are what make Ahn; "Words are meant to either inspire or cause despair, I leave them to the Alpha" Is Ahn's only answer to why
he chooses not to speak as much as the others. Though he gives an air of Strength, and is known for his Blood-Lust in a fight, Ahn is a calm and undoubtably carring Wolf. He'd rather slay a Shadower for stepping on a
flower, than because his life is on the line. Not many in hte Pack truly understand Ahn, and that is how Ahn prefers it.
Relations: Pups and Elders are the only ones Ahn prefers to share company with. Weak, and Young are what Ahn seek, so that he may "teach" them to over come their weaknesses, or simply Learn from their inexperience. A few of the females have made attempts for Ahn, but alas the Brave shares his heart with none. All family ties have long since perished, except for his grandfather, whom Ahn tends to frequently.
Powers: Ahn's preference to silence reflects on his Gift to move the Earth around him. From boulders, to tree's, and even metals left in the depth of the earth. " Earth-Tongue Ahn" is his Title since, like the Earth,
Ahn speaks little, yet says much to those who understand.
Weaknesses: Ahn terror of water, and fire are what made him turn away from speaking as he did as a pup. During his first Hunt, Ahn had chased a doe deep into the forests, and after losing its trail, the pup had managed to
be spooked and fell into an underground waterway, which had drug him all the way into the lake. The Shadower attack left Ahn dreadful of Fire as well, and to this day, Ahn will not near a body of water larger than himself, nor
will the Wolf Brave gaze into a flame. Another, more physical weakness, of the Hunter, is his inability to fully bend to the left due to his scar.
Other: The Scar was caused during the Shadower assault, as Ahn had attempted to defend his home den. Ahn's Mark is almost unseen as it blends into the gray of his fur. Its image is an ancient willow, with each of its branches
wrapping around Ahn's body, giving his already Gray pelt, a skeletal ghost-like appearance as the trunk covers his spine, the roots mix in his tail, and two branches drape across his nose, bending around his eyes. No one has been
able to see the entire Mark, since the Scar dismembers four of his "Rib-Branches"
Blue: A color of Serenity, Peace, and also the Third of our Nations Colors. It also happens to be the Favored color of the GM; Fireleap. And the favorite to many Americans.

Personality: Calm and wise. He is very cautious, due to several incidents where younger pack members tried to get rid of him.
Relations: Pretty much everyone due to his age. He currently has no enemies, crushes or otherwise.
Powers: Healing- Is able to mend minor or serious wounds up to the life threatening point.
Mind reading-he can sense the intentions of those around him, though not actual thoughts.
Weaknesses: Old age has lessend his strength, though he is still tough.

Kamatayan is a caring and kind wolf however don't cross his path the wrong way or you'll find yourself on the ground. He doesn't take back talk of any kind but follows the rules of the Alpha. He aims to please but at the same time won't allow others to walk over him. He is very protective of both the Alpha and the pack.
Strong Willed and Determined are words the describe Kamatayan best. He isn't your average wolf, his colored fur indicates that he is not of the area but that doesn't hold him back. He isn't one to beat himself up if he does something wrong, he simply smiles about it and trains to do better the next time.

Weaknesses: Kamatayan acts selflessly when with his pack, he will intercept anything that threatens his fellow pack members and will do anything to please the Alpha even throwing his own body to intercept a deadly blow. He is very protective of those in the pack and will make sure they are all provided for before he provides for himself.
Other: He's an overachiever and a hard worker. He will train and train endlessly until he gets something right often times coming to the brink of dehydration. He gets very focused.

Personality: Shy, and usually energetic. While he wishes to display affection for Silverglade openly, he is scared of how she will react. He is on a more diplomatic approach of things rather than brute force, which leads him to be a bit of a coward overall. Is paranoid in the dark as he fears he will be attacked, putting him in a state of fear of the dark. Which for being the alphas kin, isn't a great combination. While he is proud of the position, he also wishes he wasn't as he isn't the leader type that came as natural to his father.
Relations: a bit fond of eyeing Silverglade, but reluctant in admitting it to her.
He is also the alphas kin.
Powers: Through the transfer of his own energy, he can create small plants and shrubs. Able to enlarge them on other times. (fatigues him, and on larger attempts, it causes him to pass out)
Weaknesses: While he conjures the plants and shrubs, he is vaunerable as he is motionless, but this also causes him to be more suspectable to some illnesses if used too much.
His crush that he has on Silverglade tends to put him in a few situations that he personally wouldn't get into, including the sense to protect her, even though it may be him who may need some protection.
Other: Often seen messing around with his powers to make small designs with flowers. He has a natural sense of hunting, but dislikes the death cry of his prey.
