It was the Fourth Reich that sent the US economy into a downward spiral in 2008. The massive earthquake that destroyed Haiti was a prototype shockwave weapon. The list of atrocities goes on, and they are behind the greatest ones.
Their goal: Create a New World Order, a worldwide Fourth Reich. They way they mean to accomplish this goal; the Psychers. Savage Strength: Samuel's dense muscle and bone structure make blows from him from him feel like hammer strikes, and that is without him focusing his chi. This strength also allows Sam to perform great acrobatic feats, since the muscle is lean in comparison to it's proportionate strength.
Regeneration: wounds heal much faster than they normally would and his stamina lasts longer and returns faster.
Stalker's Silence: Sam can move in complete silence, whether that be at a crawl, a free-running climb up the side of a building, or a dead run on asphalt. He can also reduce the sound his weapons make to a mere whisper without the use of silencers; with silencers, the gunshot sounds like a breath. This comes from using the small amount of spirit energy Samuel can channel being directed at the air, creating small ripples in the air to distort and negate the sound waves made by his feet or weapons.

Sam uses his ACP 45 handgun the most, since he has had the gun since his first tour in the armed forces, it is of great sentimental value, for it had saved his life many times. He had the name of his deceased daughter engraved on the barrel.

Personality: Samuel is a very realistic person, he does his best to not hold any fools hopes or unrealistic expectations for anything or anyone. Something of a control freak, wanting to have the upper hand in a dangerous situation at all times. He can also be very cynical towards government and law. An overall dark individual, but he puts on his best smile and his lightest moods for his Psycher, not wanting to worry him/her with his stresses and brooding thoughts.
Bio: Samuel Friessen was born in Hells Kitchen, New York in the year 1972 to a german father and a scottish mother; immigrants to America. Being fresh off the boat, Samuel's family was not the richest lot in the world, in fact, Samuel went many a night without food in his belly. He was kept in school only by his stellar grades and athletic record. In middle school, he was captain of the boxing and wrestling teams as well as the head of his class in government, economics, mathematics, military history, chemistry, biology, physics and foreign language. By the time Sam reached high school, he was already fluent in six languages.
Samuel graduated high school and got into Yale with a full ride scholarship. However, tragedy struck when his parents were both killed in a drive-by shooting. While the school offered their condolences and ordered him to see the school councilor to deal with his grief, it wasn't enough. Samuel's powers manifested fully at that time, which helped him to hunt down the gang bangers that shot his parents and payed them the same favor before killing them himself, but he gave them the hard goodbye.
Samuel Friessen was apprehended by the authorities and was locked in a very small cell for several weeks before the guard opened the door and two men in suits entered and offered Sam a deal: work the the military or stay in prison for the rest of his life. The choice was easy.

When he was 25, Samuel got married to Kate Douglas, a journalist. When Sam was 28, his daughter, Sarah, was born. A year after she was born, however, Sam was called into active duty after 9/11. It said that he had been watched by "them" for quite some time and that he showed great promise for their organization, only that he would need to clean up his act. The next day, Sam received a pre-paid Alcoholics Anonymous therapy session for three months. The process of getting Sam off of a pack-a-day habit for smoking and a six-pack a day habit for drinking took about a year. In the first week of 2010, Sam received a letter from the same person that had been emailing him constantly. The letter told him to pack up his personal items and clothes and go to the Marquis hotel in Times Square, that the front desk would have a key for an apartment that Sam would be staying at. While taking the bus from his ratty apartment in Brooklyn to Manhattan, he was contacted by someone who just sat next to him on the bus. The old woman told him about his apartment that he now owned in New York City and about how he was going to be watching over a child. She said that all of the details would be found in his room when he got there.
Apparently what the woman called an apartment was actually a luxurious penthouse in Times Square. Two bedroom, two bath, living room with a 70 inch plasma screen TV, Kitchen, dining room, library, computer archives, secure internet and phones, this place had everything for two people to live very, very comfortably together. When Samuel walked into his room, on the double king bed, sat a simple vanilla envelope, crammed to the brink with papers. Taking the envelope over to the redwood desk up against one of the walls of the room, he opened it and read.

I am pleased to inform you that you have been chosen to join the special program of our adoption clinic. We have had our eyes on you for quite some time, and we have taken not of your exceptional talents, both professional and otherwise. Enclosed is information on our program and the special orphan you will be receiving to take under your care.

Samuel quirked and eyebrow at the letter and ran a hand through his short hair. He never even heard of this place until yesterday. He was about to burn the letter and storm out, but he got a phone call from that same old woman who gave him some very important reason to stay. She knew how to pull at Sam's heart strings as well as his temper. In the end, Sam signed the papers and mailed them back to the Orphanage, saying that he agreed to be a part of the program that was explicitly explained over the phone. This "mother" made many things clear for Sam. It was with this clarity that he signed the paperwork.
When Sam went to the Orphanage to go pick up his assigned Psycher, all he had was a name on a sheet of paper. Rosie Edison, a powerful Telepath. Samuel was still skeptical on the whole situation. His own daughter had died only a year ago, and here he was adopting a little girl because those were his orders.
Needless to say that when Sam saw skinny little Rosie Edison, he felt that fatherly kind of love that had been absent for so long. She was quiet and shy to begin with, but they eventually warmed up to one another to the point where they are like father and daughter together. So much so, that Sam's PTSD will occasionally kick in, mixing him memories together, resulting in him calling Rosie by his deceased daughter's name.
He keeps no secrets from Rosie, he told her why he got her name wrong the first time it happened, and why he always has a happiness coupled with sadness when around Rosie.
Now Samuel loves Rosie as if she were born as his flesh and blood, he does his best to spoil her, but he also teaches her lessons when needed. He wrote in his journal that Rosie is the one thing that is keeping him going. She is his little gift from God, his little angel.

The Five-Seven has a built in silencer with and increased capacity 20 round magazine. The pistol also includes a laser sight and optional full auto firing mode. This is Sam's sneaking gun; coupled with his tactical knife.

Sam uses his ACP 45 handgun the most, since he has had the gun since his first tour in the armed forces, it is of great sentimental value, for it had saved his life many times. He had the name of his deceased daughter engraved on the barrel.

Sam uses this for stealth just as much as opening letters and preparing meals. This knife means much to him. He has the numbers 1999-2009 engraved into the handle.

Personality: Samuel is a very realistic person, he does his best to not hold any fools hopes or unrealistic expectations for anything or anyone. Something of a control freak, wanting to have the upper hand in a dangerous situation at all times. He can also be very cynical towards government and law. An overall dark individual, but he puts on his best smile and his lightest moods for his Psycher, not wanting to worry him/her with his stresses and brooding thoughts.
Bio: Samuel Friessen was born in Hells Kitchen, New York in the year 1972 to a german father and a scottish mother; immigrants to America. Being fresh off the boat, Samuel's family was not the richest lot in the world, in fact, Samuel went many a night without food in his belly. He was kept in school only by his stellar grades and athletic record. In middle school, he was captain of the boxing and wrestling teams as well as the head of his class in government, economics, mathematics, military history, chemistry, biology, physics and foreign language. By the time Sam reached high school, he was already fluent in six languages.
Samuel graduated high school and got into Yale with a full ride scholarship. However, tragedy struck when his parents were both killed in a drive-by shooting. While the school offered their condolences and ordered him to see the school councilor to deal with his grief, it wasn't enough. Samuel's powers manifested fully at that time, which helped him to hunt down the gang bangers that shot his parents and payed them the same favor before killing them himself, but he gave them the hard goodbye.
Samuel Friessen was apprehended by the authorities and was locked in a very small cell for several weeks before the guard opened the door and two men in suits entered and offered Sam a deal: work the the military or stay in prison for the rest of his life. The choice was easy.
He has served in Operation: Desert Storm, Somalia (in the Black Hawk Down fiasco), as well as several covert, top priority mission issued by the secretive branch of the NSA known as Third Echelon. When he was 25, Samuel got married to Kate Douglas, a journalist. When Sam was 28, his daughter, Sarah, was born. A year after she was born, however, Sam was called into active duty after 9/11. He served tour after tour, both in the field as a conventional soldier as well as in the dark as a Third Echelon operative. Samuel's unique powers allowed him to be the perfect predator and a prodigal soldier. When Sam was at home, he was a great father, always smiling and spoiling his precious daughter.
In the year 2009, Samuel got a letter from one of his close friends on his rotation back home. The letter said that both Kate and Sarah were dead. Killed in a hit-and-run freak accident. Samuel's Commander had enough of a heart to let Samuel go home for the funeral; after which he resigned and took to drinking and smoking. The culprit approached Sam in court and went on his knees, begging the Sam for forgiveness. The man's reply was a flurry of blows that made it impossible for him to breathe out of his nose and chew normally for the rest of his life.
One day, Sam got an email from an anonymous source on his secure line. It said that he had been watched by "them" for quite some time and that he showed great promise for their organization, only that he would need to clean up his act. The next day, Sam received a pre-paid Alcoholics Anonymous therapy session for three months. The process of getting Sam off of a pack-a-day habit for smoking and a six-pack a day habit for drinking took about a year. In the first week of 2010, Sam received a letter from the same person that had been emailing him constantly. The letter told him to pack up his personal items and clothes and go to the Marquis hotel in Times Square, that the front desk would have a key for an apartment that Sam would be staying at. While taking the bus from his ratty apartment in Brooklyn to Manhattan, he was contacted by someone who just sat next to him on the bus. The old woman told him about his apartment that he now owned in New York City and about how he was going to be watching over a child. She said that all of the details would be found in his room when he got there.
Apparently what the woman called an apartment was actually a luxurious penthouse in Times Square. Two bedroom, two bath, living room with a 70 inch plasma screen TV, Kitchen, dining room, library, computer archives, secure internet and phones, this place had everything for two people to live very, very comfortably together. When Samuel walked into his room, on the double king bed, sat a simple vanilla envelope, crammed to the brink with papers. Taking the envelope over to the redwood desk up against one of the walls of the room, he opened it and read.
"Dear Mr. Friessen,
I am pleased to inform you that you have been chosen to join the special program of our adoption clinic. We have had our eyes on you for quite some time, and we have taken not of your exceptional talents, both professional and otherwise. Enclosed is information on our program and the special orphan you will be receiving to take under your care.

Samuel quirked and eyebrow at the letter and ran a hand through his short hair. He never even heard of this place until yesterday. He was about to burn the letter and storm out, but he got a phone call from that same old woman who gave him some very important reason to stay. She knew how to pull at Sam's heart strings as well as his temper. In the end, Sam signed the papers and mailed them back to the Orphanage, saying that he agreed to be a part of the program that was explicitly explained over the phone. This "mother" made many things clear for Sam. It was with this clarity that he signed the paperwork.
When Sam went to the Orphanage to go pick up his assigned Psycher, all he had was a name on a sheet of paper. Rosie Edison, a powerful Telepath. Samuel was still skeptical on the whole situation. His own daughter had died only a year ago, and here he was adopting a little girl because those were his orders.
Needless to say that when Sam saw skinny little Rosie Edison, he felt that fatherly kind of love that had been absent for so long. She was quiet and shy to begin with, but they eventually warmed up to one another to the point where they are like father and daughter together. So much so, that Sam's PTSD will occasionally kick in, mixing him memories together, resulting in him calling Rosie by his deceased daughter's name.
He keeps no secrets from Rosie, he told her why he got her name wrong the first time it happened, and why he always has a happiness coupled with sadness when around Rosie.
Now Samuel loves Rosie as if she were born as his flesh and blood, he does his best to spoil her, but he also teaches her lessons when needed. He wrote in his journal that Rosie is the one thing that is keeping him going. She is his little gift from God, his little angel.
