The Painted dove (OOC) rules and announcments.

Somewhere there is a glassy surfaced lake and near the center of that calm lake is a verdent island, at the center of the island sits an inn with glowing windows and the smoke of several warming fires billowing from many chimmenies.

A sign on a post in front of a bridge tells you to leave your life on this side of the bridge, warns you that the owners of the island and the inn will remove you from the premises at their own discretion and invites you to cross the bridge and stay a while. You cross the bridge and find yourself standing in front of a three story building with a white dove sign above a heavy oak door, to your left is a field of grass for tents and to your right is a large garden of flowers and vegetables. If you were to walk around to the back of the building you'd see that the garden has many stone benches and private alcoves and that at the back of the Inn is a small sandy beach, perfect for sunbathing or swimming in the lake.

walking through the doors into the main room of the inn it is quite spacious, more then you might have thought when looking from the outside. Finely crafted tables and chairs dot the lowered floor before you while a slightly elevated walk way surrounds the area with a few more tables pushed up to the side with small candles flicking for light. above is another walk way with halls that lead off to doors that in turn lead off to rooms, bed rooms, storage room, and a few bathing rooms. to the far end across from you is a large bar and a small door to the side of it leading to the kitchen, Unusually large for just any inn, to the far side is a roaring fire place which holds a large pig that is roasting on a spit and rotating slowly, seemingly by itself. upon the mantle place sits the head of an abnormal large deer its antlers spread almost from one balcony to the other that flank the fire place and the wall above it.

Looking up you can see a full three stories and a chandelier hanging from the roof lighting the halls on the upper most floors. the rooms are dimly light but warm with the comforting aroma of food and drink.


The inn keeper lays down the law as you enter.
There will be no brawls over the war what is out there stays out there!
there will be no back talking to the inn keeper or you'll find yourself out in the middle of the lake.
I don't care from what fraction your from all are welcome (yes even Disgeran but I've got my eyes on you)
if you want to get all flirty and farther take it to a room (that means PM or time skip we don't wanna see that)
You may not do self insertion. (You cannot literally have yourself, username and all) You CAN, however, make a commoner who is as like you or different than you.
I'll make more if I have to so you better pray I don't need to.

Meet the inn keepers.

Age: 17
Appearance: Papel is a rather short girl despite her age but she's well polished in strength despite this and though rather flat chested she's very pretty with long reddish gold hair and dark blue eyes. she seems more or less a fine teen girl in an almost child like body.

Name: Matilda, known as Tildy
Age: 25

I'm not entirely sure, I know if it at all relates to the war E1 said it is a big no...Or I think he mentioned our characters being executed. He was a bit vague about what would happen to our characters.

I know if it is doing something as a free action while at the dove it is a no no.

Countries usually don't want members in their military that seem to hate their religion, their leaders, and their plans. He pretty much sounds like an outright traitor waiting to happen.

It's like, we need some sort of single ruler that forces people to do what is considered right. Maybe a guy with a mustache. Oh yeah so the other day I was reading mein kampf."

Overly dramatic hyperbole aside, in a time when all of the land is full of theocracy, and the leaders are a part of the church, saying you hate the church and think it is full of lies is flat out heresy. Usually in nations with such structures, it is punishable by death. At least that's how it has been throughout our world's history. Considering the rules are a part of the theocracy. Essentially war popes.

well if its going to be a competition then you might have to motivate them. What I have in mind next year however is very different and needs a lot more work.
