The 1950s taught us conforming to a standard isn't always a good idea. Take the small, suburban town of Meadow Ridge. Everyone seems to be happy in their secluded, 50s style paradise. Everyone keeps to themselves, there's an unwritten dress code, everyone goes to church on Sunday...Meadow Ridge might as well be a gated community. That is until a new family arrives with their non-conforming son. This new boy disrupts everything Meadow Ridge stands for just by living there. No one likes him...except a quiet girl in his class. She has strong opinions but keeps them to herself for fear of resentment. But with this outsider in her presence, the girl can't contain her curiosity. Will there be war amongst love? They say every rose has its thorns and Meadow Ridge is unable to deviate...

Personality: A cynical genius. He often gives out his opinion no matter what. Often described as rebellious, a thug, or emo, he has been ridiculed in every way possible because of the way he acts. He is a self-proclaimed athiest, only because most people do not know what an agnostic is. (He is actually an agnostic)
History: Growing up in Chicago isn't wasy, especially when your alcoholic father goes and gets himself killed on your tenth birthday. Well, that's what it was like for Grey. He hates pretty much everyone except for his four-year old little sister and his mother.

When his mother brought home a man on his thirteenth birthday, he instantly hated the man. Grey knew that the man was trying to take his father's place. That's when his mother announced that she was pregnant, and the man was moving in to stay.

At every chance he got, he rebelled against the man. When the man announced that they were moving, he hated him even more. The man almost took away his CD's and crappy Car, but Grey gave him a death glare all week until the man gave in.

Now that he's in the town, he hates it more than ever. Everyone is a bunch of stuck-up christians with a chip on their shoulder to any kind of music they don't like. He often sits in his car down at the lake, listening to his CD's with the volume maxed out. In school, the teacher's lower his grades ever-so-slightly during each assignment. He knows because Math is his best subject, and the teacher gave him an 89, when he should have gotten a 100%.

After a couple of weeks, hes gotten used to the ridicule, and resents anything/one that gives him a second glance. He has a job at a city that is about thirty minutes away. His job is to teach younger kids (Which he has a weakness for) how to play the guitar. He has played since he was fourteen, and was in a couple of bands to make some money, which is how he got his used Lexus IS300.

He also sings. But nobody knows it except for his little sister, who he sings lullaby's to every other day. She often falls asleep after the first verse.

And that is his miserable life up to this point. He hates his step-father, loves his half-sister, and wants to beat the crap out of anybody who so much as breathes on him in this town.

Other: Likes to fight. A lot. He was in an underground (illegal) fighting circuit, and got third place. He knows five different forms of martial arts to defend himself. Last of all, he sings and plays guitar (As well as writes music)

NAME: Tawny Brant

PERSONALITY: Tawny is quiet and reserved but hot blood boils beneath the surface. She has very strong opinions but remains a follower for lack of a powerful, outside stimulant to act as a catalyst in her imminent transformation.
HISTORY: Tawny was born and raised in Meadow Ridge, brought up a perfect young lady. She went to Sunday school as a child, sold Girl Scout cookies, and never spoke out of turn. She always kept her teenage rebellion bottled up, worried her parents would hate her if she had her own point of view. An inwardly angry woman, Tawny couldn't bear the weight of silence. When the pressure got to be too much for her she would run to the town's small lake, surrounded with trees. Here she could be alone and vent her frustrations. Often times she would come home with wet hair from dunking her head in the water to mute her screaming. No one would suspect sweet little Tawny Brant of anything suspicious. She was such a "nice, quiet girl." But what no one knew about the innocent Tawny Brant was that she had engaged in some less than savory activities while alone. She always watched the news no matter how horrible, just so she could know about the world her parents hid her from. She watched porn online, carefully clearing her computer's history after each use. She often cursed violently, especially in her lake place. And sweet little Tawny Brant was also a heavy smoker. She didn't care that it was bad for her health, she just liked the way it calmed her down. It was tricky getting the smell out before her parents or anyone else noticed but Tawny was a smart girl. She always got straight A's in school and her curiosity about the world made her clever as well. She could cover her tracks like a skilled criminal. And of course these things were only the beginning for the rebel inside her. She still wasn't brave enough to show the world how she felt.
OTHER: Tawny is secretly obsessed with leather from her online porn escapades. If she sees leather she can't help herself in needing to touch it and in some severe cases buy something no matter how expensive, just to have the wonderful feel and scent of leather. She has made it a minor goal to have an entire closet devoted to leather objects once she gets out of this town.

Duuuude, there was like this one part where they were supposed to be translating something in the magic book so they could save the main character's love interest and the teacher who was supposed to be doing the translating was like OMG the horny drug is still in my system! so they screw all night instead of working to save the girl and totally blow their chance by the time of the ritual.
