Special Mechanic: The land is full of magic energy sapping Cairn Stones (Those are the small pillars with blue glowing crystals.). Get too close and you'll have all your magical energy depleted in seconds. Either dodge or destroy these to avoid their passive effect.

[F.O.E]

Zero took his first steps inside the Nightmare Circus, slowly walking towards the arena. Getting inside the arena he noticed the entire circus was vacant of life. He had sensed some mysterious power at work here and wished to investigate, but the question "Why here of all places?" still made him feel uneasy. He took his Z-Saber out and prepared himself for anything that would dare come forth to attack.

[Craze]

A giant halo appeared in the Nightmare Circus. Black feathers fell through the halo, and landed on the ground one by one. When the last feather tipped the surface, a soft beam of light emerged from the halo. The feathers circled around it, creating a silhouette. The halo and the beam slowly vanished, and the silhouette took form. A form known as Sephiroth.

[F.O.E]

Zero watched closely not moving an inch, as all the events took place before his eyes. He noticed the strange sillhoutte of a man or at least a man-like creature.
Even though the gracious entrance, Zero didn't feel anything good from this being. He looked it in the eyes strongly and asked out loud: "You! Who or what are you?". He then took one step forward keeping his Z-Saber tightly clenched.

[Craze]

Before Zero could come any closer, Sephiroth drew his sword. He pointed it at Zero. The blade nearly touched Zero's face. "You wield a blade." Sephiroth said with his deep, dark voice. "Let's see how well you use it." Sephiroth took on a battle stance, his katana shimmering in the light.

[F.O.E]

Zero didn't flinch at Sephiroth's blade. He looked Sephiroth in the eye and replied: "If it is my blade you wish, then I shall give a taste."
The man intended harm and Zero's killing intent had been raised to match. His fighting instincts were set in motion and he intended to leave this battle with yet another souvenir. Zero quickly jumped backwards and as soon as he landed he used his Kougenjin aimed at Sephiroth.

[Craze]

Sephiroth deflected the Kougenjin without any movement but his arm. "Pathetic." Sephiroth exclaimed. In a mere second, Sephiroth vanished, leaving black feathers behind. He reappeared behind Zero in the air and raised his katana. "Begone." Sephiroth said and rushed down at Zero with high speed.

[F.O.E]

Zero quickly noticed Sephiroth's menacing presence from behind and turned back slashing just quickly enough to deflect Sephiroth's atack.
With no time to spare, as soon he deflected and created and opening for himself he used his Reppuugeki, charging forward at Sephiroth, thrusting himself at his chest.

[Craze]

Being too late to counter the attack, Sephiroth took the thrust to the chest and was knocked into the side of the circus. "Impressive." Sephiroth ran towards Zero, and when it looked as if he was going to strike, he vanished, then he attacked. He repeated this technique. Vanish, strike, vanish, strike.

[F.O.E]

Zero took the strikes one after another, each one more devastating than the previous.
He knew standing around wasn't going to help, but attacking blindly wasn't going to achieve anything. He quickly looked around and came up with an idea.
Quickly before the next attack aimed at him had been issued, he darted out of place and jumped on to the burning circus centerpiece, awaiting the next attack.

[Craze]

After a final vanish, Sephiroth was about to use the same attack technique again, but was distracted by the heat of the fire. It took him too long to prepare an attack, giving Zero an opportunity to strike.

[F.O.E]

This opening was exactly what Zero was waiting for. Taking the chance given to him, he jumped at Sephiroth and quickly rolled in the air, slashing him several times and then finishing off with Tsuibangeki. Landing, Zero jumped backwards, unsure what has happened to his foe and not willing to take any chances.
He stood steady and still prepared to fight, asking his foe: "So, was that all there is to you?".

[Craze]

Sephiroth's body laid on the ground. Just when you'd think he was dead, he recovered and quickly jumped into the air, leaving a trail of feathers behind. He crashed down on the ground in front of Zero, creating a small wave. He attacked Zero with 7 quick slashes, and finished with a heavy strike of his katana.

[F.O.E]

Pushed back from the wave, Zero quickly covered his face to protect it.
Taking all 7 slashes to his arms, Zero started to become exhausted and took some significant damage that could be noticed from a distance.
Quickly taking off his arms from his face, he swung his Z-Saber, parrying the last heavy strike.
He then charged up his Z Buster and fired out one shot, afterwards switching to his Ice Chip and sending out Zaneidan.

[Craze]

((All these Japanese terms. So confusing XD))

Blasted away by the attack, Sephiroth took heavy damage, but did not show this. "Vanish." he exclaimed, and rushed at Zero with great speed. But instead of attacking him, he rushed right through him. He smiled as he saw Zero confused by this. Just you wait... he thought.

[F.O.E]

(I have a link my CS which will lead you to the page with all the names of Zero's moves. All though there are a few secret ones, that I'll be keeping hidden until later. By the way, don't say my character is confused, that's my line. :C. You're kind of bunnying me out of my right to react. :C. Ducks. :C)

Zero was a bit confused by the event the just occurred, his body didn't feel any different.
But after a few seconds, his body started to slightly pop and showed off a bunch of scratches and cuts on his body.
This peeked his interest and looked at the man, with murderous intent, saying: "Fast! You seem to know your way around battle."
Zero took out his shield boomerang and gazed towards the man, saying: "Come!"

[Craze]

"As you wish..." Sephiroth said, readying his blade for another approach. He hacked and slashed, but every attack landed on Zero's shield. Sparks flew from the weapons as they clashed and clashed.

[F.O.E]

Taking upon hit after hit, Zero got pushed back ever so slightly.
Exhausted, but he had to wait for the precise moment to strike. Finally deflecting one of Sephiroth's slashes, he created an opening for himself.
He used the opening to fire off his Time Stopper buster shot and thrust himself in to Sephiroth with his Energy Chain, aiming to recover his wounds by absorbing Sephiroth's life energy.

[Craze]

Sephiroth felt his energy slowly drooling out of him, but focused his attention on Zero instead. A glow of darkness went through Sephiroth's katana, followed by a raging flame. He attacked Zero with a large sweep of his katana, followed by thirteen dark orbs that surrounded Zero, ready to attack at Sephiroth's command.

[F.O.E]

The attack inflicted heavy damage on Zero and with one sweep, put him in the same state he was right when he started to steal Sephiroth's energy.
This was getting him nowhere and not willing to take any chances with those darks orbs he quickly pulled away his triple rod, switching to his Z-Saber.
Performing a rolling slash on the ground and then a Tenretsujin in order to send Sephiroth flying.

[Craze]

Sephiroth saw the attack incoming, but was too late to respond. He was sent flying through the circus, and bumped into the side of the circus tent. Even though he took a good amount of damage, he restored himself and slowly descended down like a feather. He raised his arm in the air, and created a giant pillar of fire that rushed at Zero with immense speed. "Perish."

[F.O.E]

"So, the time has come. It's time you were finally silenced, Maverick!"
Zero charged up and fired his Tractor Shot, making the shot absorb the pillar of fire and double it's power.
Zero then stretched his arms left and right and slightly thrust his chest forward, beginning to charge power.
Winds started to blow away everything from Zero as a dark red glow could be seen emitting from his body!

[Craze]

Sephiroth didn't expect this. Blinded by the light coming from Zero, he shielded his eyes with his arm. Sephiroth attempted to attack, but the wind coming from Zero kept blowing him back. After the light and the winds were gone, Sephiroth looked at what happened. "So... it has come to this then."

[F.O.E]

Finally getting fully charged up, the winds stopped and Zero's new self was revealed.
He had completely switched over to his original Omega body and gained full unrestrained access to all of his elemental attacks without needing to use an elemental chip first. His new body have given his even more speed as well as power.
Putting his right hand in front, he said: "Come!".

[Craze]

Sephiroth smiled. Not a friendly smile, a smile of pure evil. A smile of intimidation. Instead of attacking, he raised his arms in the air and began to levitate. A dark light emitted from his crest as his back started to cringe. With a giant flash, a long, black wing teared through Sephiroth's back and placed itself behind Sephiroth's right arm.
