Crime Scene: Found in Office at 1800 hours by a Secretary, Coroner's report says victim choked to death on his own blood after his organs began to 'melt' inside his body. Multiple toxic chemicals were found in his blood that added up a hugely lethal poison. Moved and upturned furniture, also scuffs marks and broken glass from either a struggle or death throes. No evidence of blood or skin from his attacker but still found some bruises on his body. He was pegged to be dead for almost 14 hours.

Evidence: Some pills that were found on his desk but no prescription was found on him, his decanter had another strange chemical in it but the whiskey had dissolved it into something almost unrecognizable. No weapon was found either of attack or defense.

Victim's Record: Accused of Human Trafficking, Blackmailing, Drug trafficking, Tax Evasion, Harassment, Larceny, and Racketeering. None were proven.

Officer's notes: This guy was a dirt-bag through and through, and I’m sure no one will come to his funeral if they even bury him. Good riddance to him in my opinion. He only got off with those crimes because his pocket book was as big as his mouth.

Plot: It’s another day in Las Vegas, Nevada. Traffic roars, people shout and laugh. The hustle and bustle of the city of lights. It never stops, it never sleeps -the New York City of the west coast. Here anyone can be anything: Mobster, Movie Star, Singer, Dancer, Businessmen, or even a cop. But anyone can also be a killer. That is the case for Sin City’s newest and most exquisite casino, “The Gem” owned by Bart Brier. Entrepreneur and white collar crook, genius in the world of legal gambling, but even he isn’t immortal. His time came one cold morning. With 11 suspects and only back stories to work off of, will the hot shot Detective find his man or will this death go unmarked into the annals of the LVPD? Who knows; think up your story and make it good, otherwise it’ll be your ass leaning on the hood.

History: Born of a prositute and a drunk and raised in Vegas. He was raised around casinos and knows all the working like the back of his hand. Known around the casino's as the "Card Shark Ace." He started out his card dealing (and stealing) career when a respectable card deaaler asked him to step in for a night. Right of Kendrick had a natural ease with the cards. He soon replaced his friend and began rising his way to the top of Vegas.

Job: Card dealer

Motive: Cheated out of his winnings on many occasions by the victim. (The more money the patrons lose the more the dealer is paid.)

Personality: Queenie may have the body of a porn star, but she’s got the class and style of the celebrities of the 20’s. She’s not slutty, but she knows how to use her curves to her advantage, and she often does. Most of the other girls would hate her if she wasn’t so polite, and she knows when to flirt and when not to. She can be sweet and seductive, but she’s smart enough to know when not to be. She has a clever mind and knows when to keep her mouth shut.

History: Queenie always knew that she was destined for the stage, but as she got older it became apparent to her that she would have to settle for the smaller gigs until her inevitable discovery. She worked her way through college and then traveled to New York where Brier discovered her in a hole-in-the-wall club where she was singing and hired her on the spot. When Queenie (then known by her real name of Ruby) came to Vegas she quickly gained recognition and popularity with her femme fatale figure and amazing voice, and now she’s one of the main attractions.

Job: A very popular singer at the Gem, she creates a great deal of revenue with the money that she gets from the tickets sold for her shows.

Motive: Queenie is popular on her own, but it’s undeniable that she owes much of her success to Brier. However, when rumors started circulating about the nature of their relationship, she was quick to deny them while they only seemed to encourage the boss. Soon his playful flirtations became borderline harassment, and Queenie became more and more irritated with his “offers of promotion”. Her threats of filing for Sexual Harassment were met with laughter and opposing threats of being fired and ruined for show business, which was enough to keep her quiet. Being kept under his increasingly sleazy control would be hard enough for anyone, but with his eye on her it was almost enough to drive someone to murder…

Personality: Strong and silent type, keeps his ideas to himself even if someone asks for them. He does his job and does it well he doesn't rest until it's solved. Tough as nails to boot.

History: Ace was born and bred in Vegas his family is an old family from the early days of Sin city. In that time the Spades have done most every job under the sun even mayor for a short time but being the Jacks of all trades they had a knack for Law and Order. Ace's blood runs blue and gold and he sleeps with a gun under his pillow every night. He was given this case because the Chief knew he'd handle it and not let the victim's "past" influence his decision.

Job: Detective in charge of the case.

Personality: Jordan seems very upbeat, always humming while she works and quick to give a smile to anyone who looks her way. She also has a fiery temper, although it is rarely seen at work.

History:Jordan was born in Vegas to a single mother who did tricks to support her heroin addiction. Unable to support a child and her addiction, the young mother sent her daughter to live with relatives. When Jordan was eighteen her mother died and she returned to her home town for the funeral. She fell in love with the glitter and fast pace of the town and decided to stay--pursuing her dreams to be a star. Her dreams quickly faded to reality and she had to find work to live. Staying at the run-down apartment her mother called home, she finally found work at the casino as a janitor.

Motive:On more than one occasion, Jordan has been seen in the victims office arguing with him. He had threatened more than once to take away her job, claiming she was going though his files while pretending to clean his office. The arguments always ended with her leaving in tears but with her job intact.

Kiko is about 5"2' but wears at least 3 inch heels at all times so no one sees her shorter than 5'5" which is still pretty short but you know...whatever. She has a thick japanese accent, but she keeps it on purpose, it adds to her sweet(ish) personality.

Personality: Kiko is a sweet, feisty, smart, girly-girl. She's never mean to anyone--unless of course they give her reason to be, then she's a lighted firecracker. She loves fashion and can often be seen spicing up her work outfit with her own creations and style. She's not above using her charm to get customers to buy stuff, but she isn't letting it go anywhere, she has some standards.

History: Kimocho was born and raised in Japan, so her first language is Japanese, but she speaks English very well. When she was 16, her parents (who were poor multi-job working but hopeful people) sent her to a friend who lived in Carson City, Nevada. To hopefully give her the opportunity they didn't have. When she was 17, she took her first trip to Las Vegas, and fell in love with the blinking lights and crazy beauty of it all. She came back every chance she got, and when she was 18, moved down here to try and get a job (she wants to be a fashion designer). She found a job as a doorman at the casino and slowly worked her way up. She took a great interest in the bartending, the drinks mixing and talking to everybody...the loose restrictions on the clothes you wore. She took a night bartending class, in an effort to prove that she was capable of the higher pay. The previous bartender got a promotion, and she was able to take his place.

Motive (optional we have some if you can't think of any): It's not a secret Kiko doesn't really want to be there, she's only there until she can afford fashion school. Bart would often come by her section and take drink after drink, which Kiko wouldn't have minded, except for the fact the drunker he got, the braver he got and he would often say completely inappropriate things and even make grabs for her. Then when she refused, he would get her in trouble, telling the manager of the bar (who didn't particularly like her because of the fact she didn't really care) that she spilled his drink on her, purposely didn't serve him--whatever. And then her pay got docked. Which pissed her off, cause she's trying to save up. Not to mention any guy she was interested in got chased off by him, he basically made sure she had no social life, maybe trying to make her desperate enough that she would go for him. So she had enough reason.

Personality:A man of two faces. What most see is the kind generous host in the casino. Fair handed im business, and a gentleman to everyone. The flipside of this two faced coin shows a man of malice, mistrust, and menace. He holds malice towards leeches that are doing better than he is. He mistrusts the innocent until he figured out their hidden secrets. He is the most menacing person to be found with in a dark alley.

History: Malcom actually had an innocent childhood in Las Vegas, Nevada, as rare as it is. His family owned a simple pizza parlor in the Downtown area of the sunset strip. He was provided with a childhood and his parents we ideal, so it seemed. It was discovered in his pre-teens, when violent men bustled his father out the main door, his family was in debt up to their ears from unpaid protection money and loan debt. His father had never paid back the start up funds for his business. His father was beat up alot of his life, but he always held his head high. It was something Malcom admired in his teenage years after the "bankrupcy" of the family restruant.

After a while, Malcom's life succumbed to the power of Las Vegas. His parents too seperate jobs to pay for his schoolin and started seeing less of each other. Malcom found companionship in street gangs and outsiders. He felt welcome in the grime of Las Vegas. The violence exilerated him and he found a love of money, tact, and a little business savvy anyone could carve a small fortune.

At 18, Malcom was arrested with aggrevated assault, attempted murder, intent to deal, and striking an officer of the law. The judge did not a reason for delequency because Malcom had a solid foundation. It was the judge's decision to give Malcom a choice, the Army or prison. The judge was an ex-serviceman in the army, and he also had the same chance so he felt he was being fair to do the same. Guess what! His mother didn't breed no idiot; he hopped the first train to Basic.

While serving, he was able to go to college and recieve a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Economics of Science. When he his contract of service was up, the difficult job enviroment drove him to the familiar are of Las Vegas. He did not know, if it was good luck or bad, but after a time he managed to obtain a job as the Floor Manager of "The Gem", Bart Brier's casino. Through years of work and his successes, Malcom become Bart's business partner; however, instead of enjoying his success, Malcom spent most of his time hiding Bart's excesses and making sure everything worked like clockwork. The #@$ even assumed it was his entrepeneurship that lead to "The Gem" 's success and Malcom was never thanked. He was @@#$# glad the @#$# died.

Motive (optional we have some if you can't think of any): Young businessman, worked his @$#@ off for the @@#$$ and was never rewarded. Sometimes he prayed for the @#$# death. It was no secret that he hated Bart.

Personality: Sadaf is incredibly social, as any waitress should be. She enjoys talking to other people and maintains a good relationship with her coworkers (except for her boss, which she despises with a burning passion). However when it comes to dealing with talking about her family or any personal matters, she lies and isn't ashamed of it. So far her backstory is that her parents are rich and living in Europe, she hasn't any siblings (she really has 3 older brothers), and that she's working here to save up for a new car.


History: Las Vegas, Nevada was the last place on earth Sadaf wanted to visit, let alone live and work in. She openly detests Las Vegas with her family and friends and yet, here she found herself working under a disrespectful boss. The reason? This is the last place anyone would expect to find her. Sadaf is smart -- talking a 3.8 GPA here, with a lot of wit and intelligence. However, the stress of college life and the pressure from her parents to succeed lead Sadaf into a sever depression. She needed to escape that world of medical school and hassling parents to find her inner self. Thus, Las Vegas. She planned her stay here beforehand, applying for a job at The Gem a week before she got herself ready to move, and told her parents that she was studying abroad.

Job: Waitress

Motive: Does being an asshole count? Disrespectful of his employees; he encouraged the staff to flirt with rich clients, cursed at the waitresses (especially Sadaf) when the guests at the casino weren't pleased, and often cut her pay. Sometimes even the tip jars would be empty, and everyone knows you never mess with a waitress's tips.

History: Brian was born and raised in Vegas by a casino bartender for a father and a pianist for a mother. They often left Brian alone for long periods of time, giving Brian a chance to explore Vegas. He soon grew attached to the glossy casinos and crime-infested “slums”. Brian was home schooled by his mother, and did fairly poorly until eighth grade where his mother stopped schooling him. Brian continued living relatively normally until he reached 19 years of age and moved out and rented an apartment in a shady area of town. A friend that he had meat invited him along to a trip to the nearest casino and was instantly obsessed by the magnificent slot machines and games tables such as poker. He soon became a regular in the casino and spent all the money that didn’t go to alcohol and his rent on games in the casino.

Job: Brian is always working different jobs, and is currently a bartender at a local pub.

Motive: An obsessive gambler and drinker isn’t always in control.
