[Alter Ego]

Emmie nodded and kept her soft smile as she watched Kanon go off into a room to take a nap before shaking her head again.

"Poor girl...she's so worried, and she doesn't need it right now..." she said to herself before facing the wyvern, looking it over. It was definitely sorry, judging by it's sorrowful posture and sad eyes. Emmie sighed and floated over to the creature before giving a faint grin.

"Just give it some time. She just needs a bit to clear her mind, and a nap is just the thing. Maybe try and apologize the best way you can when she wakes up, you know? Kanon will come around, I'm sure of it," she suggested hopefully.



Kai nodded.

"Right," he said as he grabbed Rose's hand, pulling himself up and out of the well, or whatever it was they were in. He shook his head, trying to shake his hair dry. In the process, he splattered water everywhere. "Sorry. Don't exactly like wet hair pressed against my wet face," he said with a chuckle.

"Alright, so now...How to wake up, now that we're out of that well...thing..."

[Roseora]

"Well were out, and we didnt even have to climb that far..." She laughed, somewhat with relief when she noticed the tall, dark walls had dissapeared around them and they were standing on the edge of a small well in a village. She almost recognised the place- maybe shed visited when she was little?

"Do you know where this is?" She asked Kai. It was very cold out here, and she pulled her jacket further round herself and tried not to obviously shiver.

[Junko Enoshima]

Raguna:
He started to writhe in pain slightly as he slept, apparently being plagued by a nightmare as his wound made his slight movement´s hurt. Raguna wasvsweating a little as well, probably coming down with a fever.


Kanon:
She climbed onto the cot, and exhaled once Emmie left, resting her head and closing her eyes. The events that took place really put some stress on her, so much so that it tired her out..

Wyvern:
She looked at Emmie, taking her word's into consideration about..giving Kanon some time to think things over, and then apologize. That's..all she could do really, aside from waking for Raguna to wake up. The Wyvern nodded hoping to give it a try once Kanon woke up..

But then noticed Raguna.

[Arcus]

-Minako-
Saw what was going one with raguna and gave him a shot. That should help with any pain he should be feeling, it was also a sedative. Hopefully help calm him in his sleeping state.

[ShiftyTide]

Jim chuckled bemusedly at the fairy flitting around him. The feeling of the small breeze created by her never got old. "Great. We shall head straight for your village once we get back to mainland." Jim smiled back as they continued walking out of the temple grounds. He took a peep back at the two sleeping figures Dent was carrying, wondering when they would wake up.

[leytonio]

"Well, first things first, we need to get to the mainland" Raymond grimaced, "the sea here is very rough and crawling with pirates". On his way to the island, he had almost come to a fight with some pirates. It was only due to his ship's speed that they didn't.

While Dent carried the two sleepers down the passage, it suddenly occurred to Lars that he was no longer contracted to Rose. Since he deserted the north, his promise was no longer valid. It was then that Garret quite litterally burst through a nearby wall with a bunch of books in his arms. He was smiling like a maniac. "Guys!! I just found magic spell books! There's so many spells I havnt learned in here, like..." He flipped through the pages of one of the books. "Gaspent! I don't know that spell! I'm going to master them all!" He looked at the golden statue. "Also, some of your bookshelves disintegrated when I tried using it as a ladder. You need to like, get sturdier materials in here."

[Alter Ego]

Emmie switched her attention over to Raguna when she heard a small moan of pain come from behind her. She watched as Minako poured some alcohol onto his wounds, an attempt to try and comfort him from the irritation. The fairy sighed and floated over, wanting to see just what was going on in Raguna's head.

She swore to herself that she wouldn't interfere with anything, no matter what. Before she cast the spell, she turned to face the wyvern.

"I'm going to be asleep and try and see what's going on with Raguna, and see if I can do anything about it when he wakes up. If I don't wake up for about...say, two hours? Then press a little bit of pressure of my left arm, my left arm. Anywhere else and I won't wake up. Remember, left arm after two hours, not too much pressure." She gave a curt nod before raising her stick wand over her head and muttering an incantation, falling to the ground gently moments later in sleep.

When she awoke, she looked ahead of her and saw Raguna. Emmie almost called out his name, but stopped herself before she could finish. She was there merely to watch and learn, nothing else. So, she watched and waited, trying to think up a way to help.



Kai furrowed his brow.

"Um...no, I don't..." He scratched the back of his head. "Does anything here look familiar? Cuz I don't recognize anything."

He noticed Rose shivering, and looked down at his coat. He wished, or thought, that his coat and the rest of his clothes were dry. In an instant, they were; warm and dry as the desert. Kai slipped off his coat and wrapped it around Rose.

"Here. It's not much, but hopefully it'll help until we wake up," he said with a crooked, awkward smile.

[Roseora]

Rose felt her cheeks getting hot. "Thanks." She said as casually as possible. Strange. She saw how Kais clothes suddenly became dry and warm. Shouldntthat have proven it was a dream?

"Im not sure." She said, remembering his earlier question. "I sort of feel like ive been here before." She said uncertianly. "Oh well. It doesnt matter. Its created out of one of our memories... Of thoughts probably. Dreams always are. Why dont we just go find somebody else and try get some information our of them?" She said, stepping down from the edge ofthe well and onto the cobblestone street. She looked around, afewpeople milled around thestreets, minding their own business.

[Junko Enoshima]

Wyvern: She nodded at Emmie's instructions, despite how peculiar they sounded at first. Despite this she was still eager to help Emmie ease Raguna's pain.


Raguna's dream:
As Emmie looked onward, she'd notice a clearing...with nothing but the blue sky, and grass.. Raguna lieing down in the middle of it all. The area was similar to where he had passed out in the forest. However if she looked closer, the wounds that we're bandaged in reality, were still bleeding as his thoughts echoed loud enough for her to hear. "I...didn't keep my promise...I failed Kanon. How..how can I protect her when I can't...protect myself?"

[Arcus]

-Flora-
She nodded and said, "maybe we can find someone to help us with the dragon egg. Not to mention the little baby that is inside of it." She stopped circling Jim, but still hovered next to him and smiled at him.

-guardian-
Scowled, "please don't destroy anything and if you want to borrow those books. Then please check them out, why do you feel the need to destroy everything anyway?" He said with distain.

-Minako and Flix-
Both nodded at what the little fairy said and waited, to see what would happen.

[garnetfrog]

Garret scowled at the guardian. "I don't destroy everything! If I wanted to destroy everything I'd just..." His eyes began glowing black and a dark purple aura began surrounding him. Rocks and dust began floating around him and the temple began shaking. As suddenly as it began, it stopped. "Do that! Only things would get more implodey and there'd be a pile of rubble where we're standing." He smiled and tilted his head to one side.

[leytonio]

Raymond turned to Garrett angrily. "Look here, you try to do anything like that, and I'll not hesitate to blow your brains out" he hissed, "so you'd better stop acting like an absolute idiot, or none of us, least of all you, will make it very far."

[Alter Ego]

Kai nodded.

"No problem," he returned as he examined their surroundings. "Alright, sounds good. Uh, let's ask...this guy," Kai said, pointing at a tall, slender man with a well-trimmed beard, who looked strikingly familiar.

"Hey, excuse me, but do you know - ?" Kai stopped in the middle of his question as the figure turned around. His tanned skin, large and rough hands, and those sparkling brown eyes all formed into one person that Kai thought he had finally lost.

Shocked, and terrified, he fell to the ground on his bottom, staring up at the man wide eyes and a flushed face.

"Som'in tha matt'r, boy?" he asked, looking at Kai peculiarly.

"Y...you're supposed to be...d-dead..." Kai whispered, backing up slowly.



When Emmie found herself immersed in Raguna's dreams, the first thing she did was look around. The sky was a pretty blue, and she was in a large clearing as well.

Emmie perked up when she heard someone talking in the middle of the place. Curious, she fluttered over, sitting atop a large leaf as she gazed down at the owner of the voice. She suppressed a gasp as she saw Raguna, lying in the field, bleeding heavily.

"Well, you're never gonna protect her if you think like this..." the fairy whispered to herself, letting the events unfold. A slight breeze picked up, but it caught Emmie off-guard. "Whoa!" she squeaked as she grabbed onto the leaf, waiting for the wind to die down. Within a matter of moments, things had calmed and she sat down once more, clinging onto the plant a little more tight.

[Junko Enoshima]

Raguna:

There was...silence for a few moments, nothing but Raguna's slightly heavy breathing until...another voice echoed, and sounded similar to Kanon's.

"Big brother..... I'm scared..." The voice said.

Raguna snapped out of his little trance at the sound of the voice. It..was kanon, his little sister!... he failed to keep his word, but despite this..He still wanted to be by her side. But....these wounds..the pain he felt was tremendous..

"K-Kanon...." Raguna stuttered, cringing, gritting his teeth as he tried to move without hesitation, but he couldn't do so. "My body feels so heavy..I can't get up. It hurts..so much.." He groaned.

[Roseora]

"Kai?!" Rose asked, running over when he fell over. She put her hand out to help him up, seeing he was fine. She looked up at the tall man. He looked down at the boy on the floor and the scruffy little girl. she took a deep breath and opened her mouth. "We were wondering where we were, and maybe you could tell us how we can prove this place isnt real." She said, narrowing her eyes at the last sentence. She waited to see how he would react.

[Alter Ego]

"You can get up, Raguna. You've got to if you ever want to see Dream Kanon..." Emmie commented, the urge to help becoming stronger and stronger. She suppressed the feeling, though; it was dangerous messing around with dreams unless she desperately needed to help.



Kai's breathing quickened, but he accepted Rose's help and pulled himself up and off of the ground. He tried to take deep breaths, but the shock of seeing him.

The man furrowed his brow in confusion, but his eyes held back anger.

"Why, yer in tha South Kingdom, o' course," he replied nonchalantly. "Bu' wha't yeh mean by this place no' bein' real, I'm afrai' I can' help ya wi'h tha'."

"You're supposed to be dead!" Kai blurted out suddenly. "And in the East Kingdom! What are you doing in the South?! You died!" His eyes widened and he threw his hands over his mouth, but it was too late. He had already said it. The man's eyes narrowed at Kai.

"What're yeh sayin', boy?"

"N-nothing..." Kai muttered in reply. He pulled Rose close and whispered into her ear. "Th...that's the Hunter...h-he took me in as a kid but...but he died earlier this year..." His voice was shaky, and he couldn't say some of his words without stuttering. After what Kai had just been through, the Hunter was the last person he wanted to see.

[Junko Enoshima]

Raguna:

Faintly in the distance her whispering..only managing to make out a few word's. 'You can get up...' This made his eye's widened for moment. "I..have to get up....I have to.." Raguna mumbled, holding his breath and gritting his teeth as tried to sit up..succeeding in doing so, but it took some time.

Afterward, he turned in the direction where Kanon's voice was coming from. His breathing was heavy as he tried to use one hand to hold back the bleeding.

"Big Brother........where are you? Please don't leave me alone..I don't want to be alone.." The voice said, accompanied by some sobbing.

Raguna didn't hesitate to move after hearing that, but..trying to get up proved to be difficult than he believed.. It was almost painful to watch as he fell to the ground every time. "Kanon...I'm sorry...I...I..can't.."

[Roseora]

"I met my sister." She whispered back in Kais ear. "Its not pleasant how thewhole 'happy dream reunion' thing end up." She said, somewhat sympathetically. "Praphs we shoudl go...." She said, but... This may be their chance. Somehow, they had to wake up sooner or later. The alternative was much worse than facing a few nightmares, right?

[Alter Ego]

Emmie sat on the edge of her leaf in anticipation, excited to see that Raguna was able to make it back up all by himself.

But, she winced when he fell back to the ground in a crumpled heap. It made her heart break to see Raguna in such a wreck.

"Ooh...that's gotta hurt," she muttered with her teeth grit and an eye closed. She returned to her normal position, and tried to think. "Maybe if I just keep saying he'll be able to do it, he will...Maybe he heard me say to get up in the first place?" she thought aloud before nodding her head. "Yeah, that sounds reasonable...Let's try that."

The fairy lowered her voice back down to a whisper.

"You will see Kanon again, Raguna, but you have to try. I know it hurts, but you've gotta keep going...I don't know what will happen if you don't, and I don't wanna think about it!"



Kai frowned.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that...things weren't exactly great with the Hunter, either..." Shivers went up his spine at the memory of it. "I think we should try and provoke him. What if we get him to attack us, and after a little bit of fighting, we wake up?" he suggested, knowing it wasn't the safest option, but it was an idea that just might be able to wake them up.

[Junko Enoshima]

Raguna:

When he thought all was lost, when he was about to give up trying to reach Kanon, he..heard that voice again..the one encouraging him to keep going despite his pain.

'You will see Kanon again, Raguna, but you have to try. I know it hurts, but you've gotta keep going...I don't know what will happen if you don't, and I don't wanna think about it!' The voice said.

"B-But......n-no...no buts. She needs me by her side.. I...want to be by her side.. I'm her only family. I have to be there to comfort her...even though it hurts.." Raguna mumbled, taking a few deep breaths and groaning in pain as he slowly, but surely got to his feet, stumbling a little to keep his footing. He could feel the fever from the real world setting in as well...But he kept going regardless. Taking very slow steps while covering his wound with one hand.

"I'm coming.....Kanon... Don't be afraid...Big Brother is h-here for you.." Raguna stuttered in between heavy breaths.

[Roseora]

"Thatcould work..." She said uncertianly. "But do you really want to? I had to fight my sister, I couldnt do it..." She said, somewhat ashamed. "It wasnt really my sister, I knew that, but I still couldnt so it." She added.

She kept her hands on the hikts of her swords. She wouldnt mind a fight, it was fun and in a dream, nobody could reallyget hurt, right? She gave Kai an awkward smile. "Your choice." She said.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith lets out a irritated sigh, sitting on a rather large rock. It seemed like the best idea, south. She always wanted to go south, hating the bitter cold of the North. Her only problem is, she has no one to pick pocket or steal from a stall. Now, she's hungry and unsure whether or not to hunt. She carries provisions, yes, but she'd rather not go through them too soon. It will be a long journey.
"I could have really thought this through better," Lilith mutters at no one. That's right, no one. There's always no one...
She fingers Alison's locket and frowns, well not always. 'At one point, I did have someone to talk to....' Lilith thinks drearily.
Lilith then shakes her head and prepares to continue traveling. She'll just manage with her provisions and hope it lasts all the way to her destination. It's better than thinking as to why she is able to leave in the first place.

[Alter Ego]

Emmie nodded her head smugly.

"Yup, that's right. She needs you, and you need her. But, Kanon won't be afraid for much longer! You're on the move!" she exclaimed, hovering off of her leaf and floating close to Raguna, but at a far enough distance so that he wouldn't spot her easily.

"See, we're like, halfway of the midpoint of getting out of here. That's great! Keep going, and the pain will end soon, I promise!" Emmie encouraged, her voice raising just a tad.



Kai smiled comfortingly at the sprite.

"It's hard, I understand..." His eyes flicked up to the Hunter, who stood there, glaring at them through narrowed eyes. He took a deep breath. "But...but this is my fight. Maybe if I can fight him, then we can wake up...Like, conquering a fear?" Kai shook his head. "Maybe. I've got this."

Kai took unsteady steps away from Rose, and stopped just a few feet in front of the Hunter.

The Hunter smirked at Kai as Kai began to draw his bow and arrow.

"Aye, Kai Genesis. You really think killin' me is goin' ta do anyting ta help ya? Ya already know t'at it's yer fault fer me death..." The Hunter's eyes glistened cruelly.

Kai let out a gulp as his face clouded over with hurt. He defiantly shook his head, un-stringing his bow and switching for his dagger.

"No...It is not my fault that you died, and I will never let you make me think otherwise!" Kai rose the dagger, charging towards the Hunter at full speed. Just before he was about to collide with the Hunter, Kai shot up into the air, his dagger aimed for his heart.

The Hunter merely side-stepped, and Kai ended up on the ground with his dagger stuck. He desperately tried to pull it out, but it seemed to glued. The Hunter began to approach, drawing out his own dagger as he cackled.

"Aye, ya ne'er were good wit' yer dagger, Kai...Ya really are a disappoin'men'..." The Hunter began to slowly raise his weapon up and over his head, the blade aimed right at Kai...

[Junko Enoshima]

Raguna:

He wouldn't be able to spot her...but he did notice the sudden change in tone. Although getting to Kanon was top priority at the moment, Raguna stopped as he managed to actually figure the person behind the voice egging him to keep moving forward. "That..voice... Emmie?" He called out, turning around..but not seeing anyone there, causing Raguna to become confused while he looked around a little more for the source of the voice..



((Had a bit of difficulty trying to think of something to post..))

[Roseora]

Rose watched as the two men fought. 'Stay out of it...' She toldherself. If 'conquering a fear' really was how to get out of the dream, she had to let Kai do this.

Although, when she noticed the hunter aiming the blade at Kai, she knew she ad to do soething. She drew her own swords, lunged at the hnter and slapped his sword away from Kai.
"Dont you dare hurt my friend." She said through gritted teeth. "Your lucky I didnt slice your arm off." She added darkly.

"Kai just use your bow!" She said, her expression softening as she turned round.

[garnetfrog]

Garret touched Rose and warped into her dream. He watched the two people as they fought a third person he didn't recognize. He smiled and waited for a moment to speak with them. In the meantime, he opened one of the spell books and began browsing through it. The cover read "dimensional and time spells"

[Arcus]

Lillyblossom, flitted through the trees. She spotted someone in a booth and smiled, she was a fairy. From the same forest as Flix and Flora, but her skin was darker and as she smiled, she revealed pointed teeth. She dropped down momentarily and stole some meat from the human below, "Thanks for the meal." She said with a laugh as she flew out of reach and started to eat.

[Alter Ego]

Emmie stopped flying when Raguna called out her name.

"U-uh, no! Not at all! This is your subconscious who just-so-happens to sound like a fairy named Emmie. Now, quit looking for the subconscious voice and get back to Kanon!" Emmie ordered.

Oh no! If he finds me, there's no telling what could happen...

She had no way of telling how long she had already been in Raguna's dream, but she guessed it had been at least an hour or so. Dreams always went by slower than real time, and she feared what would happen if Raguna didn't find Kanon in his dream.

"Come on, we're nearly there!" she enthused as she flew forward once more, trying to speed things up. She paused a moment, thinking. "Tell ya what. If you can get to the ship soon, I'll give you somethin' real nice. But you gotta hurry!" she urged, her voice slightly desperate.

((This is harder than you'd think...don't be afraid to do a short time skip or get something to happen, like Raguna finds Emmie or something.))



The Hunter glared at Rose and jumped back, giving time for Kai to pull out his dagger and switch to his bow and arrow. He quickly strung it and aimed it at the Hunter, forcing his breathing to slow down as he aimed the bow at the man.

"Is this wha' ya wan', Kai? Ta kill tha man who took ya in when no one else woul'?" the Hunter shouted at Kai. Kai lowered his bow slightly, but shook his head defiantly and aimed it once more, glowering at the Hunter.

"No. You are not the Hunter, and I am not scared of you!"

The Hunter cackled.

"How cu'e," he sneered, stalking towards him.

Kai didn't wait another minute, and released the bow, but failed to see Garrett a few feet away from him...

[Junko Enoshima]

Raguna:
It was then that things started to confuse Raguna. The voice he heard started to..seem a little out of place..and it definitely sounded like Emmie, evident by her trying to change the subject.

Although Kanon seemed to be top priority, and he was still losing a bit of blood in the process of going towards, Raguna felt compelled to find the source of the voice, and after turning around, and squinting his eye's a bit in the direction where he predicted the voice to be coming from..he saw her.

Emmie, the little fairy from the boat, and friend. "What....what are you doing here, Emmie?..." He asked in a weak tone of voice.

[ShiftyTide]

After for what seemed like an eternity of walking back to the boat, it was finally in Jim's view. "I see the boat." Jim pointed towards it with a hand, his other adjusting the strap carrying the precious egg.

[Arcus]

Flora looked down at Jim, as she floated above him. "I wonder if the guardian will be coming with us?" She said hopefully, she didn't thing anyone or anything deserved to be alone.

[Roseora]

"Kai! Ga-" she stopped short. "Garrets there..." She added awkwardly. She glanced over at where the arrow had gone, to check it hadnt hit Garret.

Emmie's eyes widened and she frowned, seeing that Raguna had discovered her.

Oh no! her mind screamed.

"I-I'm not Emmie! Just a figment...U-uh, don't come closer! You've gotta get to the boat!" She looked around, trying to figure out just where said boat was at. "The ship is that-a way, you know!" she squeaked.

[Junko Enoshima]

Raguna:

He weakly squinted his eye's at her, finding her word's not that convincing, especially since he took notice of some errors. "If...your just a figment of..my imagination..then why are you panicking? And....I'm pretty sure that...I was trying to walk towards Kanon..not the boat. So, I'll ask again before I potentially pass out. What are you doing here?" Raguna asked again, though he realized after a while that he was probably wasting what time he had. It was becoming more difficult to keep his balance, and his eyelids felt a bit heavy.

[leytonio]

"Eh, everyone who's comin' will turn up," Raymond shrugged, " The main thing is to make sure yer boat can still sail, there aint much wind"

[Arcus]

Flora looked at the sailor, "I thought you guys also depended on currents?" She asked curiously.

[leytonio]

"Well, that may be so" Raymond replied, "But we have to get out to the currents first"

[Alter Ego]

Emmie sighed irritably.

"Listen, why don't I explain everything once you find Kanon? Kind of can't at the moment, and if you pass out, there's no telling if you'll wake up," she said, folding her arms across her chest. "I promise, but right now, Kanon's top priority. She really needs you!"

She began to fly away, making sure the tiny buzz her wings made was as loud as possible. If Raguna was trying to find her, maybe she could lead him to Kanon? It was the only thing she could think of.

Pleeeaasse work!

[Junko Enoshima]

Raguna:

He gave Emmie a defeated sigh, She was right after all..he needed to find his little sister, and comfort her. She needed him right now, more than anybody else. "Y-Your right.." Raguna mumbled for a moment, watching Emmie fly off in a direction in which she, and he believed Kanon was, but not before falling backwards from losing balance.

Raguna cringed in pain for a moment, slowly getting back up, and following Emmie towards the sound of crying. "I'm fine...somewhat.."

[Alter Ego]

Emmie sighed in relief, continuing to fly but stopping abruptly when she heard something heavy crash to the ground. She winced and turned slowly around, seeing Raguna slowly come back up, saying that he was alright.

"Let's just hurry up..." she said once more, buzzing forward and following the sound of crying.

As the two got closer and closer, the sound of crying grew louder and louder.

"I think that's Kanon! We're almost there!" Emmie said, looking over her shoulder and pointing at where the crying was coming from.

[Junko Enoshima]

Raguna:

After a while the crying got louder.., and then Emmie managed to point out exactly where it was coming from. She pointed in the direction, and he Raguna rushed ahead, painfully so...but did his best to fight it.

Through the bushes, sitting curled up beside the base of a large tree was Kanon. Her sobbing was loud, and her face was in her lap.

Raguna's gaze softened at the sight, taking a moment to clean his blood off of his hands, before approaching his crying sister. He got on his knees, and crawled over to her side, using the tree as support for his back, and placing a hand on her shoulder at first. "Kanon?..y-you can stop crying now. Big brother is here.."

Kanon stopped sobbing for a moment, her head raising to meet his once she heard his voice, and without a moment to waste, hugging him tightly and burying her face in his chest as she cried some more. "I...I thought you were going to leave me all alone....I don't want you to go.." She told him.

Raguna fell silent for a moment, thinking back to..him giving up when he felt like it was the end for him, and then thought about Kanon..how lonely she'd be without him by her side. "B-Big brother's..not going anywhere.." He stuttered a bit, hugging her back with tears in his eye's as well.

[Roseora]

"We can check on Garret later come on we need to fini-" she was interrupted by the Hunter shoving her asied and storming towards Kai. "Oh no you dont." She said, jabbing her sword at his bum. Just to hurt, not to kill. Kai had to do it, if they had any chance of getting out of this dream world. Then Rose would need to hunt down her 'sister'

[garnetfrog]

Garret closed the book and smiled at Rose when she stabbed the stranger in the bum. "What a pain in the arse!" He cried enthusiastically. He snapped his fingers and the ground beneath the stranger enveloped his feet so he couldn't move. "Does that help?" He asked.

[ShiftyTide]

Jim turned back to see if the guardian had followed but he saw no signs of that being true. "Guess we will know soon enough. But then again, I suspect he has a way to return to mainland if he wanted to. He has a dragon form after all." Jim watched his step as he climbed down a steep hill in order to reach the boat. "I wonder what the others are doing now. Flora giggled, before spinning around in the air. "I hope not, I don't want to miss out on any fun!" She said with a smile, swooping down and hugging Jim. Just because she felt like it.

Raymond scratched his head, "I jus' want to put this damned island far, far, behind us" he kicked a rock along as they walked, "Everyone else found peace or somethin' coming here, I've been stuck here longer than almost everyone, and I've got bugger-all to show for it."

Lilith feels the sudden loss of objects and wildly looks around, just barely glimpsing a fairy.
"Get back here you little devil! I'm the only thief stealing things around here!" Lilith yells, only to give in and sigh in frustration.
"Blasted blighters.... I hate fairies..." She grumbles before searching for any other missing objects. Only meat though, just perfect. Now she'll defiantly need to hunt before her trip ends. The problem is, she sucks at hunting.
Lilith looks at the branches looming overhead and tries to spot any movement, but sees only birds from where she is. "Hope you like it, cause you're not getting anything more. Next time your little fingers come near, I'll tie you up and leave you to rot."
Not that she'll go through with the threat. She's not THAT mean, but neither does she want to exit the forest starving, or not at all.

Kai blinked in astonishment at Rose, too shocked to let out a chuckle as the Hunter cried out in pain, trying to take a swipe at her.

Garrett finally seemed aroused, the ground beneath the Hunter pulling towards him and making his feet incapable of moving.

"Wha'?!" the Hunter asked, outraged. He struggled to break free, but no matter what he did, he remained stuck.

Kai nodded at Rose and aimed his bow and arrow once more at the Hunter's forehead, taking a deep breath before letting the arrow soar through the air.

It hit him directly in the forehead, and soon the world began to melt around them.

"Wh-what's going on?!" Kai asked, turning around to face Garrett, his eyes wide. Everything was melting into blackness, placing them all back in a wooded area.

Emmie smiled as Kanon and Raguna joined together.

Once again, Emmie has saved the day! she thought smugly as she looked up at the sky, watching as everything began to dissolve around them.

Once everything had disappeared, Emmie woke up, her eyes flitting open as she instinctively shot up into the air. It took her a moment to remember everything that had happened, but when she recalled Raguna, she whipped around to look at her friend.

"Raguna? Are you awake?!" she asked, her voice cracking slightly in worry.

Upon closer inspection, Emmie would notice that he was still asleep, but sleeping peacefully with the faintest of smiles despite his wounds. She had saved the day indeed, and managed to stop the nightmares, and his fever from escalating. "Big.....brothers...fine..." He mumbled to no one in particular, but hopefully those word's alone would rid Emmie of her worry.

Wyvern:

She looked up to see that Emmie was awake once again. Whatever she did..Raguna seemed to be sleeping much more peacefully which was a relief. She wouldn't be able to live with herself knowing that her overreacting was the cause of his death.. She purred poking Emmie with the tip of her nose as a show of gratitude.

Lilyblossom simply laughed, "I'd like to see you try!" She taunted, before dropping an apple core on the humans' head. Soon finishing off the meat, something told her that if she hung around this human for a while. She may find something interesting or at least have a little fun, so smiled at the human from up in the tree.

Lilith lets out a frustrated huff, "Why you.... Get down here and see if you still talk so boldly when a blade is pointed at you! Blasted freaking fairy!"
To strengthen her threat, she pulls out one of her daggers and glares at the fairy. She's not mean at heart, just stubborn and short-tempered, and a cheeky fairy burns her short fuse quite quickly. She kicks the apple core angrily.
"Come on, or are you chicken?" Lilith could care less if she sounds childish, but she knows she'll feel pathetic later for it.

[Arcus]

LilyBlossom scowled at the human, before smirking and flew down. But was just out of the blades reach, "hard to believe look as old as you maybe. I bet you can hardly even use that toy of yours!" She growled as challenged at the human.

Lilith steps quickly and slashes out, clipping the fairy's arm as warning, and drawing the blade's twin in the process.
"Are you sure about that? These blades got me through a lot of places, war even. The one in my right is named Stinger, and the one in my left is named Beauty. Care to test your bet?" Lilith is reaching her end. Stealing her food is one thing, but jesting at her blade skills is a whole other thing. She isn't willing to kill, though, not even this annoying fairy. Death is a heavy burden to those left to live, something Lilith knows well.

Lily scowled now, "DO NOT TOUCH MY WINGS!" She yelled and threw herself at the human, Dodging the daggers. Bitting her arm, the pointed tooth digging into the arm like a dagger would.

Lilith screams and swings her arm wildly to shake the fairy off, "Let go!"
Lilith continues this, but each movement only makes it hurt worse. Wincing, she places her arms by her side and grabs one of the fairy's wings, " Let go, or it breaks."
It's not killing exactly, at least not to her. If the fairy died later out of poor survival skills, it's not a weight on her mind. She wouldn't be pleased, but still no depressing guilt. At least, she would expect none.

LilyBlossom growls, biting deeper at the threat. Then glares at her and lets go, "you tear it and your the one that will die." She growled.

Lilith lets go and backs off, promptly sheathing her daggers. "Not just cheeky, it seems. Who are you?"
Typically, she would be fuming mad and walk away, but she'd rather not be bitten again. Her arm stings, and she feels warm blood trickle slowly down her arm, staining her nice warm thermal shirt.
She briefly looks at the holes in her coat and thinks, "Great, I can patch the coat, but the shirt is ruined..."

Lilyblossom chuckled, at the human as she fussed over the blood. "Names' Lillyblossom." She said with her pointed tooth showing.

Lilith eyes the teeth with a weary gaze and says, "Yeah, well, you're no lily; that's for sure. My name is Lilith Calderon, thief with traveling trade."
Lilith knows very well that leaving would probably save her much frustration, but it-- she-- was... Civil... Enough to give her name. The least she should do is give her own. Even trade, as Alison often called it. Her eyes flicker to the way behind LillyBlossom before looking back.
"What drives a cheeky fairy here? Not to steal, I'm sure. Not even bandits wait out their prey in a place like this." says Lilith, no genuine curiosity in her voice. More, it's a bored tone slightly edged with the want to just get going. She wants to reach the South as soon as possible.

LilyBlossom shrugged and sighed, "boredom mostly." Though now she fluttered around the human, she never much liked humans but for some reason. Thought a thief would be interesting enough, so might stuck around this human for a while. Might be good entertainment for her.

Lilith watches LillyBlossom carefully and says, "Boredom, huh? That's an reason used by a lot of people nowadays."
She points in the direction she assumes is south and asks, "Since you're here, distracting me, is that way south? Blasted trees blocked the sun."
In all honesty, she was never good with directions other that naming her right from her left. It was always her sister who gave the directions, even if Lilith had taught her twin most of the stuff Alison knew... This thought instantly depresses Lilith. The event is still raw, and she remembers it too clearly for her mind to stray to the twin so much.

LilyBlossom laughed and said mocking, oh poor human. Can't deal with a few poor trees." Then stretched out and looked as if she was laying down, while still flying around Lillith. "Lucky for you that is south."

Lilith scowls, "Ha, ha. It's not like I can see through them."
She watches the fairy fly around and then walks south, "Well, it was not nice meeting you, but I have places to be."
Lilith grumbles under her breath as she walks, most of which was cursing at how the stupid bite still hurt. Once she's far enough away from LillyBlossom, she'll clean it and bandage it.

Staying on her back, Lilyblossom floated after Lilith. "Nice try human, but you seem interesting so you are stuck with me. Plus you may want to deal with that bit I give you, unless you want it to get infected and die." She chuckled darkly when she finished speaking.

Lilith glowers then, giving up, sighs. She stops and takes her trench coat of to reveal a blood-stained white thermal shirt. She opens her bag and begins rummaging through it.
"Why am I interesting in any way? I'm just some random nobody traveling south." She grumbles as she pulls out some gauze, medicine, something to tie the bandage with.

"Well your threatened my wings and survived, that alone is something." Lilyblossom said matter of factly, almost no emotion in her voice.

Garret looked around unconcerned. "Just a change of scenery, I do this every once and a while to people I fight, scares the shit out of them, sometimes literally!" He laughed. He cracked his knuckles and the shook out his arms. "Alrighty then, just one more loose end to tie up eh? Or I could just warp us out of here." He said.

Lilith wraps up the wound and puts her stuff up, "You screamed to not touch your wings, so when I had an opening, I took it."
She grabs her coat and puts it on, then eyes the fairy. In all honesty, having a traveling companion would be good. The only "why's" she think are why does the person who offers is a cheeky, annoying fairy. She has no quarrel with fairies, her experiences with them have just been... Less than pleasant. Maybe she could travel with LillyBlossom for a bit, and see if she can tolerate the fairy. So far, it has been a bad start.
Lilith eyes the fairy wearily then says, "If you are so adamant on following, go ahead. Just do not pester me the whole way."

Lilyblossom chuckled, "now where would the fun in that be?" She said with a toothy smile.

Lilith glares at LillyBlossom and grabs her bag to begin walking, "Or you could just continue to sit out here in boredom. Either way, I could care less."
Lilith takes a look in her satchel and sizes up the provisions. She has some bread, and water. No meat now... She'd have to set camp the further she goes and set snars to have something to eat... Just the thought of doing so makes her head throb. Lilith is more of a tactical-mind set than hunter, or what ever else that isn't looking at a map and pointing at the best places to camp, or what sets off what. Small things, thief things. Directions were irrelavent to her in the cities of the North though, she knew them by heart. Now she's going south, where she'll need to learn paths and places to hide, when a merchant passes on what day... Cannot make a living where one is not the best.

Lillyblossom didn't say anything, though she floated after her not really seeming to have a care in the world. Then all of a sudden, she shoot off. When she came back, she had a rabbit by its foot and it was trying to kick and struggling.

Lilith jumps, startled by the sudden rabbit struggling in front of her. She looks bewildered at LillyBlossom, then back at the rabbit. Her face softens for a bit, then turns stern again. It's just a rabbit, rabbits have no intelegence... Right?
"Uh... Could you put that down? I do not think it's too happy to be hung upside down..." She says uncertainly. It's a rabbit, food, right in front of her... Her face twists into one of disgust with herself. Why does she have to even debate things like this? Being sympathetic with a rodent is ridiculous!
Lilith walks around the fairy with the rabbit and grumbles, "Nevermind, do what you want with..."

Rose looked around as the scene changed slowly. She couldnt see Kai. She closed her eyes for a second, "is he awake, or somewhere else? Did it work?" She said, letting out a breath.

"Wait- you could just warp us out?!" Rose cried, storming towards Garret. "If your magic is so great! Wake me up! Wake everybody up!" She snapped, her cheeks flushing red. "In fact you could have stopped this happening at all!" She yelled, becoming angrier by the second.

LilyBlossom raises an eyebrow, taking the rabbits life with a quick bite to its neck. Then put it in her pack for later, Before landing and following Lilith.

Lilith sighs and continues walking, thoughts driving her mad. She could have stayed North, saved herself the trouble. Yet, staying there seemed wrong. Wrong to the memories that are fresh on her mind, and raw to her feelings. It is wrong to stay somewhere she let someone down, by trusting the wrong person...
"Where do you live? If you've only traveled, then where do you wish you had stayed?" Lilith asks LillyBlossom automatically, as if against her will. It has been a while since she just talked to someone... Other than herself in angry grumbles.

"I am from Erna-dwa, not Erna-Fra please do confuse me with that half please. Unless you want to be dead, but of course you humans don't know the difference. So I am from what you humans call the fairy forest over in the western kingdom." She said with a bored yawn.

Lilith nods hesitantly, "Uh... Okay... I've never been to the western kingdom. What's it like? Warmer than the North, right?"
Lilith has no desire to go west though, only South. Why change her mind after ten years of whining about how much she wanted to go South? It might have been a shorter trip is she had gone east or west though, but the South is just as well. All, however, better than the bitter winds of the North that plagued her for 18 long years.

Lilyblossom laughed, "it is definitely warmer then the North. As well having more trees and grassy plains, not to mention the rolling hills. In my option is think it is better then the South." He said with a smirk.

Kai blinked, looking at Rose anxiously. It was strange that they hadn't woken up yet, but there had to have been a reason why.

"Wait, Rose, just hang on...Didn't you say you had to find your sister? Maybe we can't wake up until we do that...You know? Like, I had to face the Hunter, so maybe you have to face your sister?" he suggested, trying to avoid an argument.



Emmie smiled in relief as Raguna's face eased, followed by him mumbling something about being there.

"Ooh!" she exclaimed when she felt something large gently poke her with a low rumbling sound resonating. She turned around and saw the wyvern, looking very grateful. Emmie laughed, letting out her anxiety.

"Hey, don't worry about it. Things would've gotten better sooner or later, but I think it's better that it was sooner, huh?" she said, gently stroking the wyvern's nose with her tiny hand.

Garret blinked in surprise. "I'm not THAT powerful, giving you all wards would kill me! Besides, the others are already awake. And now I don't feel like warping you out." He turned his nose up in the air defiantly with his arms crossed.

Lilith shrugs, "My mind is to go South. West is probably good, but I decided before leaving the North that I wanted to go South."
Lilith takes note of a objects that stand out, storing the where's and what's in her mind to use as place markers. She has no intention of going around in circles.

Lilyblossom yawned and shrugged, "fine that is your chose human." She said almost boredly, not really seeming to are which way they were going.

Lilith stuffs her hands in her coat pocket and watches for unusual objects to use as land marks, "How long do you think it'll be before we get to the South? With the typical delay of setting camp, and searching for food I mean. Plus, the searching for sources of water."
She honestly wants to reach it soon, not wanting to stay in the blasted middle of nowhere for long periods of time. She gets fidgety when there isn't someone to steal from, or a bustle of crowds to blend into. Here, there are trees and dirt. Lilith supposes the common twig would have some dead leaves she could still, but she douts it'll be any kind of challenge.

LlilyBlossom shrugged, "if we keep moving then even with camp. It should take a few days."

[Roseora]

"You... Dont feel like it?" Rose asked, her voice getting darker. She barely noticed Kai talking to her, before she let out a small huff and grabbed Garret by the collar. "Look here mister, you dontspeak like that to me and get away with it. And this is my dream, so this wont hurt." She said, curling her hand into a fist and aiming it at Garrets face.

Garret phased out of her grasp and stepped backward. The punch flew directly through the spot his left eye had been but completely missed him. "Punching each other will get us nowhere, everyone has learned something through their dreams except for you and Dent, but dent doesn't count as he is too innocent to need to learn anything new." He crossed his arms and raised his hood up around his head using magic. He then slunk backward into a shadow and vanished. "I'll observe and intervene if I deem it necessary, meanwhile you should try to wake up.

[Roseora]

"What do I need to learn?" She said, her voice calming slightly as she stepped back from Garret. She still stood defensivly. "I dont need to learn anything... Ive survived this long..." She said, glancing back when she noticed Kqi standingbehind them. Maybe she was being a little arrogant.

She looked up at Kai, somewhat embarrased. "Im going to find my sisternow, yes." She replied. She slipped the jacket off and held it out to him. "I guess youll want this back." She added with a smile. It was warmer here. Wherever here was. They appeared to be in a field, around sunset. The grass blew as a slight breeze wafted across the land. The occassional tree was around.
"And Garret we dont need your help." She said, still fuming.

"Well, screw you as well!" He said chuckling slightly. He had decided he'd only intervene if someone were about to die. Anything less than that, including major injury, he'd leave to them.

Kai sat back and watched awkwardly as Garrett and Rose fought, wanting to step in but unable to find himself able to.

"Okay, okay, let's all just calm down. Deep breathing guys, deep breathing. Pretend you're a monk trying to become one with nature or whatever, and just breathe," he said, finally trying to keep things peaceful.

"It won't be such a bad idea if he tags along if we're about to die, because I almost died and it's probably a good thing a mage or warlock or whatever stays with us until we wake up," Kai said to Rose. "Oh, and yeah, haha...Thanks," he added, taking his coat and putting it back on.

"So, let's figure out what Rose has to do to wake up...Probably settle things with your sister? I dunno..."

Lilith frowns, "Right... A few days... I guess that's not as bad as a few weeks."
Lilith fingers her necklace again as she walks, thinking on what she is actually going to do once she does get to the a South. She could possibly end her streak of thievery and live an honest life.... Lilith silently snorts at the absurdity, she'd more likely go back North than live an honest life. Once you have lived the life, it never leaves.
"Hey, you were pretty good back there with stealing. Have you ever considered making a living off of it?" Lilith asks, looking back briefly at the fairy.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom shrugged, "not really. Why should I?" Her voice remaining in a basically bored tone, though she wasn't sure why the human had brought it up.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith shrugs, "Meerly a passing thought. You'd do well in it, if you worked on the hands. I mean, it was good, but one needs swift hands. Practice makes perfect though."
Just don't play the trade with another person, Lilith thinks bitterly, it's bound to stab you in the back...
"Again, it was just a passing thought." She says, as if to make sure Lillyblossom got it the first time.

[Roseora]

"I dont really haveanything to settle. We were travelling, talking, and it was too perfect to be real anyway. I should have seen it coming..." Rose said, glancing away from Kai. "All im saying is ive lost my sister once, im never going to lose her again. Id rather rot away in dream world than kill my own sister." She said witn a sigh, forcing back tears. "Maybe we can try talk to her? I killed Artemis, Belle ditched me, so shes on foot. She cant have gone far." Rose said, before looking to Garret.

"And fine. He can follow us, but theres no way im letting him do anything for me. Helpful or otherwise" She snapped in the sorcerers direction.

Lilyblossom yawned, "but having people see you take it is more fun. Especially if they are humans, they always have the best reactions." She said nonchalantly, though wondering why Lilith had repeated herself.

Lilith frowns, "Ah, but why not have the more tasking fun with trying not to be seen? That makes it more satisfying when you run off with your prize of victory. Granted, any kind of stealing gives you frequent run-ins with trouble..."
Lilith looks back at LillyBlossom, "Watch where you step though, not all thieves are as nice as I am."
It is a definant that she feels irritated at the lack of conversation topics out here in the middle of no where...

Lilyblossom, as a dark shadow streaked across them. Seeming to almost disappear in the time it takes to blink, "I leave speed to lil Runith." She said boredly, "besides isn't being chased and making them think you disappear or having them fall into a trap just as much fun?"

Lilith frowns, "For a time, but even the best stumble some time. In that instance, you're bound up and left to rot... Thieves hide for a reason, and the reason is that the chase lasts only as long as you continue to run...."
Lilith notices the shadow, but continues walking. Whatever it was, it is no matter until it is.

Lilyblossom shrugged, "I guess so. I'd be careful though, Runith may try to take your water." She warned finnaly walking.

Lilith scowls and puts a hand on her satchel protectively, "Right... Well, enough of that topic. What are your interests? Besides annoying the common travelers."
One knows there's little to talk about when Lilith falls to the level of normal social questions of interest and gossip.

"I'm sorry madam Rose, I was just concerned about my new friend's well being. It's not often I get friends seeing as I'm not only immortal, but slowly slipping deeper and deeper into a dark... Depressing... Agonizing... Long... Insanity that will eventually consume me completely." His voice suddenly sounded as if there were two people talking. "Insanity, innescapable, no one is safe... Everything will be consumed... In the black depths of shadowy insanity... None can escape from the darkness. ALL... SHALL... PERISH......... ALL.... HAIL... THE DARKNESS... ALL... HAIL..." He was still completely invisible. Garret suddenly stepped into the light. "And that's why I'm trying to help." He said in a completely normal, light toned voice.

Lilyblossom shrugged, "oh I don't know. Terrorizing or killing anyone tht comes into the forest, playing with Lil runith, copying bird songs, normal stuff" she said before she added. "What about you?"

[Roseora]

Roses expression softened. She waited for Garret to finish his little speetch. "Sorry I snapped at you." She said, her cheeks flushing red. "Happy now?" She said, forcing her tone. She was still annoyed at Garret, and felt determined to show it for some reason. Maybe she was just sick and tired of dreamland and there werent enough distractions. In the real world, at least all her friends were there and she knew, 100% that none of them were just dreams, however strange and mismatched their little group might be.

Lilith frowns, "I like to write, read, and draw. Thievery would be an interest, but it's just a way of living."
Yes, a way of living that is no longer required. All the same, she will continue it. She'll make use of the skills she has, and deal with the repercussions later.

"cool," Lilyblossom said with a yawn. As the shadow come again, going towards Lilth before backing off again. Then once more seeming to disappear, Lilyblossom simply shook her head.

Lilith eyes where the shadow disappeared, "Lil Runith won't be a problem, will it?"
With a heasitant movement, Lilith takes a piece of paper out of her pocket. She unfolds it and looks at the fading letters written in ink. A list of names are scrawled on it, as if brief thoughts hurried before they disappeared. She frowns at it in deep thought.

Lilyblossom chuckled, "depends on what you mean by trouble. Considering Runith just took your water, did try to warn you."

Lilith quickly looks at her bag and searches for her water only to look up and scowl, "Hey! Where is that pesky thing for me to strangle! Blast it!"
She looks around, trying to glimps the thing that stole her water. In the act, the paper in her hand blows away. The young woman curses quite unfiltered and chases the paper, frustration obvious.
"I need that dang paper!" She growls to herself as she looks to where it went. Panic soon fills her and her search becomes more frantic.

Lilyblossom flew up and grabbed the paper, when she landed there was something sitting on her shoulders. It looked alot like a little child, that was part sprite and wingless fairy. Except the skin looked almost black and it seemed to be trying to figure out how to open a water skin. After a few moments of obvious frustration, it started trying to bite into it with pointed teeth. Lilyblossom didn't seem to care the th I ng was on her,

Lilith glares at LillyBlossom, "Hand the paper over. Your little runt can keep the water skin, but give me the paper."
Whether LillyBlossom's intention is to keep the paper or not does not matter, just the paper. There obviously a desperate task needing to be done, and one Lilith does not want to divert from.

Lilyblossom shrugged, handing the paper back. "Your the one who let it slip away." She said with a yawn, before she added boredly. "Also lil Runith isn't mine. Nor is he, human sprite or fairy. I walk the fields, tired of years and years of walking without rest, fighting bandits without care. It had become a routine in my mind Walk, Fight, Eat, Walk, Fight and Sleep. Lilith looks over the paper with vast interest before giving a conformational nod and putting it safely in her coat pocket, buttoning it for extra measure.
"Well, whatever he is, can keep his hands off my stuff from this point forward. What I've got cannot be replaced as easily as most things." Lilith says rather sharply, eyeing the creature with distaste as it holds her water skin. Those pointy teeth have probably ruined it by now... Not that such a thing is hard to replace, she had stolen it from a traveling entertainer who was unwittingly at the right place when she was preparing for travel.

Ariana stumbled though the woods, with her notebook in hand. She was beginning ti panic, that maybe she had wandered too far from the town. She lived on a little farm on the outskirts, and had gone off to play. It was getting late, she could tell.

Suddenly, she saw someone through the trees. "Hello. Do you know where the village is?" She asked, looking up at them, trying to sound as grown up as possible.

I hear a voice from my left, assuming it is a bandit I swing my sword around. I hear a girls cry and turn quickly to see a girl with her face bleeding, its a mixture of tears and blood anger fills me, overwhelming my tiredness and I scream with anger at myself. Quicly, wasting one of my healing spells I drop down to my knees pull her hands away from her face, smiling as kindly as I can a small white light appears and starts healing the cut, sealing it up.
I watch as the last of the cut is cleaned up before wiping the girls tears and saying 's-sorry for hurting you, whats your name' she looks up her young innocent eyes sparkling and shining with tears 'A-ariana, d-did you hear my question?' I nod slightly. When she looks up at me hopefully, she can tell by my expression that i don't know where it is, 'hey don't frown we can find it together' smiling I pull her up off the ground and we start walking around looking for the town or village shes going on about

Runith bit through the skin and started to get Lilyblossom wet. "Hey, get off if you are going to do that!" She yelled, before getting him off of her. "Why don't you go and find some water to sleep in?" Runith blinked at her, before dumping the water from the skin onto himself. Only partially drinking it, Lilyblossom sighed. "Wouldn't you prefer a pond over that?" She said and after a moment Runith nodded, before disappearing in a shadowy blur. Lilyblossom sighed and started flapping her wings very hard. Closing her eyes tight as she gave her all, getting a short way off the ground before dropping like a stone. "Drats, he got them wet." She muttered annoyed.

[Roseora]

"That hurt... Why did you do that?" Ariana asked, wrapping her poncho further round her as she shovedher notebook into her pocket. Her dark frizzy hair was blowing in her face as a subtle breeze picked up.

"And what are you doing here?" She added, pausing for a second. "Its not often we get... Visitors." She said, skipping slightly as she followed the man to where he seemed to think the town was.

'Im sorry, I thought you were a bandit.' I look back apologetic to the girl,'But I dont know Ive been everywhere Ive been to the north and the south to be honest I don't even know where I am I have just been walking and walking but what is your villages name?' I keep up the pace of walking

[Roseora]

"Oh... There arent any bandits here. Well, ivenever met one." Ariana says. "Its called green valley. I think you can guess why." She giggled, hopping over the stream. "Look! Thats my house!" She yelled, running ahead. "Thankyou sir!" She yelled, looking back.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith frowns and says, "They'll dry. For now, you can walk like us nothing-but-ordinary humans. It's fun, really. You can walk for miles, have blistered feet, and be sore for the next two days afterwards."
Lilith looks back then to the south. She has a while to go yet, and it will be a long trip. Maybe forcing the fairy to walk will make her less cheeky. Plus, the flying around would have gotten on her nerves. If her wings really are too wet to fly.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom scowled, "oh yes that sound like sssooooooo much fun." She said as she rolled her eyes, before getting up and following Lilith. Though she spread her wings, so that they could dry faster. The fact that her hair was now wet didn't help the problem any either. Her wings gleamed darkly in the sun.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith shrugs and continues to walk, "Well, not all of us have wings. I've walked my entire life and have yet to utter a single complaint. The fact is, walking has it's advantages just as flying. Most of the advantages revolve around blending in though."
Lilith as a young girl, like any child of four through five, had looked at the sky and wished to fly. Yet, humans could not. Seth, the man who raised her and her twin, had quickly snuffed out the dream in little under a month. Lilith was taught that things do not change just because you want them to, and they do not change when you whine. That is when thievery became a door to a world of fascination.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom, "I didn't say I fly all the time. It is just nice knowing I can still fly," She said before falling silent.

[Alter Ego]

"Yaay, we're all friends now!" Kai said, waving his hands in a jazzy fashion. He stared blankly as Garret made his speech. His eyes found themselves down at his boots, unsure of what to make of it all.

"Sorry about that, Garret," he said after a minute. "But, I'm sure you'll be okay. You've got lots of friends who'll help, I'm sure," Kai added, awkwardly smiling. He looked off to the side, not being one to get all mushy-gushy. "Aaaanywaay why don't we engage in the search for Rose's sister, hm? Get out of here once and for all 'n stuff.

[garnetfrog]

"Righto! Let us be off to adventure forth into dream land whe-" he turned around and walked forward into the tree while he was speaking. He stumbled backward in a daze and turned to the left. "Wrong way."

[The Creator]

Sorceress Muireanne Roisin Doran was on her way in spite of the young couple wanting her to stay and have breakfast. She left way before sunrise and was a good 5-6 miles away since she barely slept any. She smiled up into the warm sunshine of the early morning and knew that it would be a fine day.

Muireanne headed out of the woods and onto the road. She decided to head south. After all any direction was better than no direction at all. The Equines were in high spirits and walked rather quickly as she dozed with the sun on her face.

[Roseora]

The little monkey was swinging through the trees when something caught his attention. He could see a person heading down the road, with a cart. He hopped down to the ground and sneaked up behind the person, reaching out to grab the shiniet thing he could see on the cart.

(Just eh, something to do while you head south :))

[The Creator]

Muireanne felt a small hands touched her throat where her necklace laid. It was her favorite and would not allow it disappear so easy. Her hand grabbed the paw and tugged. To her surprise a small monkey landed on her lap.

"Goodness gracious me! I didn't expect a little monkey! How would you like to ride with me and maybe I'll let you have a pretty bauble or two? Hmmmm...... Let's stop a minute and get a few toys for you to play with. now are you a girl or a boy? Will you let me look?..... Maybe you would like to be my pet?" Muireanne spoke as she pulled the horses over and yet held onto the monkey.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith lets the silence extend for a while, taking the time to think. If she makes it to the South, the best course of action would be to find the lowest thief-lord, and join. He or she would not turn her down, for need of thieves, and she could easily rise in the ranks to eventually monopolies a town or city. Then she could spread her influence outwards, fighting to expand her influence. If she failed, she would move East and try her luck there. As Seth had taught her, at least... Influence is the only way to live when the higher powers kick you in the dirt. She unconsciously fingers her necklace and frowns.
She looks at LillyBlossom briefly then watches the trail.

[Arcus]

"Guess that necklace is important to you?" Lilyblossom said in a bored tone, not looking at the human. But at the path in front of them.

[Roseora]

The moneky looked up at the woman with large amber eyes. He cocked his head to the side as if nodding and jumped onto the cart. He began to burrow into the stuff and resurfaced holding a large, shiny bauble and let out a chittery noise.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith nods hesitantly, "Yes... It was my sister's..."
She studies the questioned object and her face holds a mournful expression. It's a very simple silver locket, with a small blue gem in the center. She opens it and it reveals two little girls of the age of ten that look exactly the same, minus the clothes. Both were smiling... Lilith smiled back then... It seems so long ago now...

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom looked at Lilith for a moment, before she said. "I suppose that means she is dead."

[The Creator]

Muireanne laughed softly then took the monkey inside to find a few things for the monkey to play with. She found some blocks that had bright colors and a box to put them in. A stout string and a nail pounded into each one then pounded onto the wooden box so they could not get lost. She found a few shiney things to put in the box and then put a lid on the box with various holes in the box. She put the box on the seat next to her and took the monkey out to the wagon seat so she could be on her way.

"I wonder what I should call you? Monkey Monk? Hmmmm......" she asked as she started the horses up. She smiled down on the monkey and hoped that he or she would stay with her.

[Roseora]

MONKEY

Monkey sat down on the cart, tossing the bauble to the side when she handed him the box. Of course being a monkey he didnt understand much human language, but he could tell by the tone of the womans voice that she was happy for him to stick around. And so he did, stopping to shake the box a bit to try and work out what was inside before putting it doen and hopping onto the womans shoulder and snuggling up into the hair and fabric.

ROSE

"Yes, Garret... I doubt shes inside a tree." Rose laughed, letting out a small sigh. "I really hope thos works, because if not..." She stopped. If not, well, they were trapped until they found something that did work.
"Just keep walking until we find her. Last I saw her it was in the rainforest when I saw you..." She turned to Kai. "Although this is dream land so I have no idea..."

ZAK

"Hows Raguna?" He asked, slipping his boots back on and walking up to the group that were gathered round the boat. "I wonder when the others will get back.." He said, beginning to worry slightly.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith's expression darkens and she snaps the locket shut to tuck it away, "War tends to do that..."
She feels like crying, the wound she desperately wanted to heal had torn open once again. Memories of that night her twin had been killed now fresh on her mind. Excepts... Crying just wasn't the answer. It is never the answer, and it gets her no where. Plus, she cannot cry. Those tears that once plagued her that day have run out, long since depleted even if the pain still remains...
"Especially when the greedy feel the need to run when the officials are away..." She mumbles darkly, her other hand clutching the paper that she had nearly lost, very tightly...

[The Creator]

Muireanne smiled as she reached up and petted the monkey.
"I think that I will call you Sweetums. Have you noticed the blocks that are attatched to the outside? You can stack them up like so. What do you think of that?"
She placed a few blocks on top of each other and leaving the rest hanging on the box. Perhaps she should make the box a bit different. She could make it like a puzzle box..... She could even put a bunch of beads on wires and then attach them to a piece of wood. Sweetums could push the various beads around on the wires. Maybe nail the board to the the wall beside her... A small box with a blanket could serve as a snuggle box if Sweetums happen to be sleepy..... Various ideas came to her head as she drove alongwith Sweetumson her shoulder. She always wanted a pet and now she had one... maybe.... perhaps.

Up ahead was two distant figures. Both were walking and Muireanne wondered if they would like a lift. After all she wouldn't mind some human company as well as the company of her new pet.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom raised an eye brow wondering what set her off, before shrugging. She was interested but wasn't sure if it was worth the trouble. SO remained silently for a few.

[ShiftyTide]

Pushing clear a few tree branches and bush, Jim arrived at the site where their ship was anchored. He saw a few new being but everything else seemed to be in order except Raguna being in bandages. He opened his mouth but stopped short before any real words came out. He looked behind to check on the group that had explored the temple. "I'm not even going to ask them what happened." Jim whispered to Flora as she passed him while he held the branch for her to pass.

[Arcus]

Flora nodded but frowned, "that is the worst any of us have been hurt yet. I hope no one dies," she commented, heading to the ship. Before pulling Jim along, she thought of her dream and blushed. Before she said, "you had found your way into my dream right?"

[Dragoon120]

Lilith walks in silence, thoughts beating at her mind from all sides. So many things for her to think of, and she can think of nothing but Alison now. She shakes her head harshly though, and mentally reprimands herself for thinking such things. The only thing she needs to think of is South, and where she is walking. Deep mourning, distracting thoughts are something for when traveling is not an aspect...
She looses her grip on the paper and her shoulders slouch a little, an invisible weight baring down on her. Some things never change.

Dent hauled the two sleepers onto the deck and set them down gently side by side. Lars, meanwhile, examined the large bat-like wyvern nearby cautiously. "Where did that come from?" He asked. Dent looked over and gasped. "Whoa! Dats a biggun!" He said happily.

[ShiftyTide]

Jim was taken back by Flora's sudden questioning of their earlier dream experience. Honestly, he hadn't gave it much thought since they had recovered from it. Having received the dragon egg and all, there were many other things occupying his mind that didn't allow the matter to be pondered upon.

"I remember hearing your voice when..." Jim fell silent, the haunting memory of holding a lifeless Flora flooding back into his mind, that one brief moment when he had lost the will to live. "But yeah. I guess I did find my way into your dream, with your help of course." Jim forced a small smile.

Then he noticed the light blush on the fairy's cheeks. "You're blushing." he teased, his hand brushed lightly against her red cheeks playfully.

[Arcus]

Lilth yawned nearly no emotion showing on her face.

Floras' blush got worse, before looking at the Wyvern. "She doesn't seem to mean any harm, so why worry about her?" She said before looking back at Jim, with a small smile on her face. Though her heart was pounding, as she swallowed. "Wh-....What did you... Did you think of the children?" She stuttered, closing her eyes as her face turned bright red from the blush and her wings fluttering in embaressment.

[Junko Enoshima]

Wyvern:
She looks at them with a tilted head when they noticed her. Well..she did choose to accompany them out of the blue, for Raguna's sake. Her accident made her quite protective of him, so when they boarded the boat she moved a little closer to the wounded, and sleeping Raguna while staring at them.

[ShiftyTide]

Jim's smile only grew wider, the fairy's reaction too adorable to not be smiled upon. The Northern male leaned in towards the fairy's ears and whispered sincere words from his heart. "They were all beautiful." Jim placed a quick kiss on her cheeks to show that he really meant those words before he pulled back to see her response. "As beautiful as the mother that cared for them." he added.

(I just remembered something. Doesn't Flora have a protective brother that owns a protective bird that came on this trip as well?)

[Arcus]

FLora smiled her blush not getting any lighter, she hugged him. Her wings didn't change at all. She could feel the egg and wondered what it would look like.

(XD Yes, but flix hasn't even realized she was back yet. The Shearl likes Jim, it is only when she doesn't know someone. Especially when they are human that she gets extremely overly protective)

[ShiftyTide]

"But for now, let's just focus on the young one that is with us now." Jim motioned towards the dragon egg he was carrying. "Come on you can help me find a good spot to keep it safe on the boat during the voyage back to mainland." Jim gently led Flora, still in their hug, back towards the boat.

[The Creator]

Muireanne was careful as she pulled up beside the two people. She hoped that they would like to have a lift even if it is for a short time.

"Hello! I am heading south if you two would like to join me and have a ride. I know that I would like to have some company." she spoke warmly.

[Arcus]

FLora giggled and nodded, Separating from their hug. She stroked the egg, before smiling at Jima and heading inside the ship looking for a good place to for the egg. When she thinks she found it, she started wrapping the area in cloth.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith looks at the woman who offered them a ride, quite surprised. So surprised, her dark mood could be forgotten just for a little while.
"Why would you offer a ride to strangers?" She says, a bit too sharply. No way of taking it back though, so she might as well stick with it. Though... She briefly glimpses the wagon and her urges to take items that do not belong to her starts to seep in. It wouldn't be as fun stealing from someone she is traveling with, but any items that could sell are always good to... Liberate from another's hold.

[The Creator]

"Like I said, I'd like to have some company and you look like you might appreciate a ride. I am a traveling Sorceress and will help those who need help. I wouldn't help anyone that ever did me wrong or harm others. And if such a thing would ever happen, I'd just give those kind of people a special 'blessing'.
So would you like a ride with us? Sweetums is nice monkey, aren't you Sweetums? You let the ladies sit beside us." Muireanne spoke as she petted her monkey.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom yawned and shrugged, she didn't care either way. She was coming simply out of boredom

[Dragoon120]

Lilith gives the woman a side-long look and frowns, no stealing from her. At least not until they part ways... She lets the silence extend for a good period of time as to give a show that she is no naive little girl who accepts everything she is offered. She then puts on her trading face, neutral and unshowing of emotions, "I'll agree for a time, but I do not voice much opinion from my... traveling companion... If that is what you would call her."

Muireanne shrugged.

"If you want to come, open the door and have a seat. What are your names by the way?" she asked.

Lilyblossom didn't answer, she simply went and crawled to the roof. Laying and watching the sky.

Lilith raises an eyebrow and examines the wagon, "The name is Lilith Cauldron, and the unconcerned fairy is Lillyblossom." She then climbs in, only to stand in confusion. She stalks around the wagon, and finds an unlit fireplace with wooden boxes on either side. She frowns at the site, but sits by it none the less. Whether or not she'll stay sitting and not go poking around later, is an obvious answer.

[The Creator]

Muireanne walks into the living area with a light frown.
"Don't you know that it's impolite to goes into someone's home without permission? This is my home and workshop...." she spoke with a bit of concern of some stranger just waltzing right inside her home without being invited inside.
"And there is plenty of room on the bench to sit. There we can chat and get to know each other a bit."

[Dragoon120]

Lilith shrugs, "I don't like traveling by wagon and seeing where I am going, plus it's not like I can steal anything. You'd notice before I'd have the chance to get a mile away... It's too organized to not notice something missing. Logic, and a bit of discretion is the only way to steal from plain sight. I, quite frankly, am in no mood to be discreet enough to do that. If chatting is what you want, however, I might as well follow you to the bench shall I not?" In all honesty, wagons are not within her comfort zone. Too many bad memories tie to the contraptions...

[The Creator]

"If traveling by wagon is so stressful, why did you take my offer? You could have refused and said that you prefer to walk. Besides I am not really worried about you stealing anything because everything is already locked up. I keep everything locked unless I am working out of the particular area or in the case of driving the wagon, this door is unlocked but not the back one." Muireanne frowned at the woman. Then walked out to the bench. She didn't have much food and pots and pans can easily be replaced. All of the ones she had were old yet good enough to use. She wanted to replace them when she could. Once she was making money anyways. At the moment she would be living from day to day.

[ShiftyTide]

Jim followed Flora onto the boat before going separate ways to find warm and cushioning blankets, pillows or anything that could do the job of keeping the egg warm and safe. Once he found a some blankets and a pillow, Jim went looking for Flora, only to find her inside wiping the spot she found with a cloth. "That's perfect." Jim commented as he laid down the blankets before slowly positioning the egg on them.

[Arcus]

Flora smiled and nodded, "glad you like it." She said stepping out of the way and letting Jim get the egg ready.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith follows and sits on the bench as well, "As much as I dislike wagons, I'm not dumb. Taking your offer cuts the journey down by a few days, which means I get to the South sooner."
She said so rather surly, and becomes rather interested in what the bench is made of. Riding in a wagon is not a phobia, of sorts, it's more of too many bad memories of them. Either way, she'd freeze up and not mumble a word if she glimpsed the passing sky or ground.

[The Creator]

"The box holds oats for the horses and tools if you want to know that fact. There is oats in the one in front as well.
I am all alone in the world except for Sweetums and he came to me just this morning. My parents died in that flu epidemic last winter that my village had. I had to see my farm for next to nothing since I can't manage it on my own. I hated to do so but sometimes in life one must do what one must do. Usually it is not at all pleasant at all." she began to speak as she snapped the reins, The pair of horses trotted off at a brisk place.

"Now I must do what ever I can to make my own living. I used up my money to buy supplies, some food with the hope of being able to pick up more as I traveled and oats for the horses. Hopefully I can keep going and find things that people want or be able to make things that people want......."

[Dragoon120]

Lilith frowns and mumbles, "I know very well what it's like doing what one has to do. Life is bitter, uncaring, and only rewarding to those who play along with it."
For example, she thought rather bitterly, these men on the paper...

[The Creator]

"Exactly. One must let the past go and be the past. However one can make their own lot better by thinking positive. If one would just think about the future and how to keep going as well as learning from the past, one can survive quite well indeed." She spoke as she looked ahead down the road.

[Alter Ego]

Emmie gasped as she heard loud voices come from behind her. She whirled around, sighing in relief when she saw it was just two of the other men from before.

The fairy looked over to the wyvern, seeing that she had gotten closer to Raguna. Emmie smiled and nodded her head reassuringly.

"These guys won't do anything bad, it's okay." She turned around to face Dent and Lars. "She came from the woods. She got scared, and there was a little brawl between her, Flix, and Raguna, but it's all okay now. She's harmless, I swear, just don't frighten her," Emmie informed the two, mostly at Lars. She turned back to face Zak. "Raguna's doing okay, but just let him sleep for now. Maybe have someone take another look at his wounds again?" she suggested.



Kai nodded and began walking alongside Rose.

"Well, then we should try and get back to that forest, or at least imagine that we're there. Your sister's likely to be there, wanting to confront you. Well, even if she isn't there, I think she'll just end up finding us some way or another, you know?"

Kai looked back at Garrett.

"Can you at least help us go in the right direction?" he asked, wanting to get out of Dreamland as soon as possible.

[garnetfrog]

"How the hell should I know? This isn't my dream, try imagining she's standing by the tree or something. That's how I do things in my dre- well, nightmares." He responded. He shudered a bit and drew his cloak tighter. "Its probably a good thing we're not in one of my nightmares... I seen some shit." He adopted a haunted look on his face, as though a traumatizing event had occured recently.

[Roseora]

Rose gave Garret a strange look. What was he talking about? Although, the part about imagining her there mus be true for a dream.
"Okay." She said, shutting her eyes. She imagined the girl standing a hundred meters in front of them.
She opened her eyes, and sure enough, her sister was there with a menacing smile on her face.

"I thought we needed to end this once amd for all." Rose said. "We want to wake up, and I want to see my real sister, not you. I never wanted ti see you." Rose said, glaring at her. She needed to get past the illusion, because this was not her sister. She picked up her sword and waited, to see who would make the first move.
If this wasnt her sister, it was her though. It was extremely hard to tell with the glowing eyes which of the girls it was. Maybe imagining it was herself would make this whole ordeal easier than pointing a sword at the closest member of her family?

[Dragoon120]

Lilith shakes her head and closes her eyes, "The past, however, makes us who we are."
She opens them again and looks at her hands sadly, " Leaving it behind is far harder than building from it."
She remains silent for a good period of time, just listening to the rickety creaks of each bump. The silence brings upon thoughts she'd rather not think of right now.
She looks at the sorceress and asks, "How much do you think it would cost to replace all of you stuff, over how much it would take to repair them?"

[The Creator]

"Way too much to buy the wagon again since it has sentimental value because my father and I built it. I know right down to the penny how much he paid for each piece of woood, bolt, nut, screws, sheets of metal and many more items. To repair..." she shrugged before going on.
"It would bepend on what was damaged and whether or not I have a replacement for it on hand.
Belongings are the same as far as sentimental value. Some of the items that I brought will not be sold at any cost. The crafts would be around $4-5,oooo and the potions more. But I need to have buyers to get such money. Why do you ask?"

[Dragoon120]

Lilith frowns, "Not to steal and sell, just a curiosity. How would you go about raising enough attention to get buyers?"
The topic of business brings a familiar comfort to the young woman, warm fuzzy memories of a babble of questions. Most of being "what does that mean", and she even smiles a tad bit. Only for it to fall again as thoughts buzz through her head.

[The Creator]

"Well, actually I am not sure. I am new to this so....." Muireanne began.
"I am open to suggestions. I have done quite a bit of thinking and made a couple items. Do you have any thoughts or ideas?"

She did not want to elaboorate too much but she did want to have more suggestions and ideas.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith thinks for a bit, "Well, advertisement wouldn't be a bad thing. Nothing elaborate, really, but you are going South correct? Stop in a few towns, make friends and let them spread word. With a little spreading of your own, of course... Hmm... This a traveling business, correct...? Yes... It seems like one... Suppliers are also a good way to go, traveling merchandise or not. If you get one or two suppliers that find you a level-headed business partner, then that would be a common thought among other suppliers... The world of business is very small, and one where influence is key. One action affects another's point of view."
If she herself hadn't followed the life-style of thievery, Alison had often put up the idea of being a merchant. Lilith, however, quickly pointed out that to begin such a life is to have something to barter with first. A street rat with nothing to her name, has nothing of such.
"It's just a thought. I'm sure you've pretty much come up with such things. You have the begins of a thriving business, and that's not something you should take for granted. Everything runs low eventually, whatever the events that make it so." She says, feigning disinterest rather poorly for once.

[The Creator]

Muireanne listened and was a bit impressed with what Lilith said.

"I figure that my handiwork will sell itself once I get started. I will be stopping in the various towns as I traveled and also I will be buying from the locals. I will be buying their produce and various items to sell further on down the road if i have extra money to do so.
What you have said makes sense. What kind of experience do you have in running a business?" she asked cautiously.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith frowns, "None, but I was raised by a man who did. He made sure I knew my way around the merchant life, and I did frequently dig for knowledge on the subject. I couldn't really start one myself, but the subject is still fascinating in general. It is just a political game to most people. The more prosperous partners they have, the more pieces they have to play in the game of the market. Like, for instance, a tavern owner. The tavern owner has people who provide the resources of food and drinks, and those people deal directly with farmers and brewers. The people who deal with the resources must be sure that the tavern owner can keep up a percentage of money to be able to provide for both the provider's services and the farmer and brewer's services. Which means upkeep, advertisement, and rumors of a good business. All a foreign topic at first, but easily understood when the right questions are asked."

"At least you had some training. My training consisted of medical and animal husbandry. Of course I was able to run the farm if I had someone to help me. Sure that were many that wanted to 'help me' but I wouldn't accept the deals. I think that I am better off in the long run.
What about your friend? Do you know much about her? She is rather quiet up there."

Lilith risks a small glance at the roof then says, "She was very annoying and cheeky before. I don't know what's up now."
In all honesty, there is not much worry felt from Lilith. Not that she doesn't care, it's just that LillyBlossom had already fallen into an aloof state prior to the offer of a ride.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom yawned and said, "who are you calling cheeky and annoying?" Her tone in the usual boredness.

Lilith snorts, "Who else but the fairy atop this wagon? At least I'm trying to be a bit social, despite my lack of desire to be most of the time."
She smiles a bit though, as cheeky and annoying as the fairy IS, it was better than dully traveling alone and getting lost. Now there's the Sorceress, so being lost is slim between the two of them. Granted, she does miss her water skin and that stolen meat. Well, more so her satchel than herself. The poor bag is meant to hold things, but it seems to be losing more than gaining them. If it could feel anyways...

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom snorted, "like I said before. I'm not very fond of humans, magical or otherwise. I'm sticking around you, because of the fact because it seems like you will be interesting that is all." she said with a yawn, then looked over her at those two.

[The Creator]

*It seems like these two will be an interesting pair to travel with for a while. I can keep things locked up just in case but I think that I might be able a make a deal with them.* she thought to herself.

"I was kinda wondering if the two of would like to travel with me. FOr one thing, I'd like to have some company and secondly, I could use a bit of help. I can't pay you anything at the moment but I will give you food and shelter as well as a ride. This is a good sturdy wagon and I have an extra room if you should choose to travel with me for a while." Muireanne offered as she kept her eyes on the horses and petting the monkey who was sitting on her lap.

Lilith rests a hand over the pocket with her paper, her expression darkening a little, "I cannot say much for LillyBlossom, but I would not be able to for a large portion of time... There are some things that... Cannot be put off."
As much as it would be great being out of city slums and traveling more often than staying, she never backs down from her word. Even if it means passing up a chance she may never have again...

[The Creator]

"Then if you didn't have this commit elsewhere, you might join me for a while? Perhaps you would like to travel with me to your destinationnn which I will take you to if you tell me where. If we have made a bit of money, I'll share a bit with the two of you. Is this feasible to you?" she asked as she began to think of what kind of possibilities of actually being a traveling Merchant.... no Merchant Sorceress would be a better title. She could make it fine with a bit of hard work, patience, time and a lot of luck. She would make contacts and friends as she worked. She could even take letters to another town if anyone would want to send one.

Lilith raises an eyebrow and asks, "Plan on going to the South's largest port city?"
It's not too bad of a deal, considering what might have been the alternative. She has no idea how LillyBlossom sees an interesting person of her right now, but she can bet the fairy will encounter plenty interesting people where she is going. If the fairy intends to stay that long. The Sorceress will be alright company along the way, if things proceed as they have.

Muireanne shrugged and spoke
"It matters not to me. SO sure I'll go to the South's largest port city. Perhaps a stop here or there as we go. Is there a city up ahead or not? I thought that we would stop in about 5 hours time. About late afternoon or early evening. Spend a day selling maybe a bit of shopping at the end of the day if we have extra money to spare."

Lilith frowns, "Well... With wagon... About seven hours of travel to a small town of about six households. Straggling people trying to expand space of living, or rebuild away from wreckage of war. I don't think we'll see a city for about a day and half travel. Maybe a day if we're lucky. I'm sure they would have produce to sell, which could be then sold or eaten by us."
If she remembers her extensive studies of maps correctly... She isn't quite sure though.

"One thing that I would like to have is a set of maps of the areas. I can then plan my route and see what roads to take and such..... Perhaps when we get to a city I can find a set fairly cheap. Is there anything that you don't like as far as food goes? I usually start to think about evening meal around now so I can plan when to stop for the night. I might even make a stew which we could eat on for a couple days.
Perhaps if we stop early, icould make an apple criso for breakfast tonight and perhaps an extra one or maybe a cherry one..... What do you think Sweetums?" She asked as she tickled his tummy then hugged him.

Lilith shrugs, "I'm not picky, how about you Lillyblossom? Still in the mood for meat, or have any other preferences?"
She doubts she'll ever let that disappear into a thing of the past. Granted, she is no longer mad about it. Food it food, it's not something that should hold a grudge with.
"Wait... Don't you have that rabbit?' Lilith questions after the thought of food passes in her thoughts. Lillyblossom had found and killed a rabbit not long ago.

[Alter Ego]

Kai stared at Garret for a moment, unsure of how to respond.

"Um...right...Okay, I get it..." he replied, taking a step back. "But go for it Rose, the sooner we get this over with the better," he added with a definitive nod.

He watched Rose, not even surprised when he saw another girl suddenly appear quite a distance before them. Kai saw the hesitation in Rose, and immediately stepped in.

"You can do it, Rose. Don't be afraid...Just remember that she's not the real thing."

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom yawned and nodded, before saying with a slight smirk. "You mean the rabbit that you, wanted me to let go?" She couldn't help it messing with this human was a little entertaining to her.

[Roseora]

Rose looked back at Kai. "Shes tough. She taught me everything I know, so if anything happens to me..." She paused. "Actually, im being stupid. This is a dream, nothing can happen to me." She laughed awkwardly. She gave him an awkward smile before deciding it was probably best not to say anything else, and so sh grabbed her swords andran at her sister, who casually drew her own blade.

Lilith scowls, "Well, it's... Ugh, just leave it be. I was asking an actual question about the rabbit."
The topic makes her mentally strengthen her barrier of scowls and insults, and she tries to force images of eating a rabbit stew. It only made her more sympathetic toward the creature, whether she showed it or not.

Muireanne chuckkled as she saw a river where she could let the horses have a drink from and to rest a bit.

"I am going to let the horses rest for a while. Then I shall make a stew for dinner and some bread to go with it. Sweetums would you like to roam about abit? I'll be inside of the wagon and the door would be left open so you can get inside." she spoke to the little monkey.

Muireanne pulled over to one side of the road then jumped through the door way of the wagon box. She tied the horses to a tree and then got some water in two buckets. After settting the buckets down, she went inside to start the making of the stew starting with the fire.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom chuckled and said, "ya. I got the rabbit, fur and all." Then tossed it to the sorrecess as she started heating the water up, not getting off of the roof of the carriage. but watched the river, spotting something in the river that the horses didn't. When it jumped out of the water snapping at the horses' heads, causing them to rear and attempt to bolt. Lily blossom simply simply started laughing as the creature that looked like a mix of a crocodile, piranha, and a snake slivered back into the river.

Lilith sighs at the event and hopes off the wagon, stretching her limbs. She hops a few times, as if to make sure the ground is there, then walks to the river to calm the horses. Though, horses never did like her. She attempts several times, but they continuously but their head into her until she falls down.
"Alright, I get it, I'll leave you be..." she grumbles before getting up and dusting off.
Lilith heads over to the Sorceress and asks, "Need anything for the cooking? Granted, I'm no chef. I can help with chopping vegetables, mincing, and so on."

Garret smiled again as he watched Rose run at her sister. "Woo! Go Rose! Ra ra ree! Kick em in the knee! Ra ra rass, kick em in the other knee!!" He cheered in delight.

David slumped down on the bar stool, exhausted. The days were getting longer and hotter, and he hadn't even managed to make a scrap of cash for it. He had thought there'd be more work for his type around here, and he had been right... Sort of. There had been tons of work, only problem was, the danger had increased tenfold; the guards were highly alert, and knew exactly what they were doing. In the end, David hadn't done well at all.

He wondered where Lauren had gone to. He hadn't seen her for a few days. Then again, they had only arrived a week ago. She might be seeing the city. In truth, David had had enough of this place. After finishing his ale, he stumbled back towards the inn.

Kai smiled back.

"If anything happens to you, I've got your back," he said, watching as Rose charged forward.

When he heard Garret's cheer, he turned around and shot him yet another confused glance.

"What...?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "What kind of cheer is that?" Kai paused. "Actually, don't answer that. Just don't distract Rose," he finally said, shaking his head.

[Roseora]

The two girls clashed swords a few tmes before Rose managed to knock Jenny down to the ground.
"Please dont hurt me... I... I didnt mean it!" Jenny cried, tears in her eyes. Rose drew her sword back, but her expression softened. She hesitated, the ilussion just seemed so real.
"Cant do it, can you?" Jenny said, pushing Rose away and standing up. Rose didnt protest, she just sighed. She couldnt kill her sister. She doubted she could axtually kill anybody, even if she had to.

Garret walked up behind Rose and put a hand on her shoulder. "Killing isnt always the answer you know, perhaps waking up has to do with your personality. Dent was helping his mother harvest a field when we got to him, so if we hadn't come along he would've finished harvesting and probably would have woken up. Maybe you just need to finish up business or patch things up or something." He suggested.

[The Creator]

"If you would, Lilith, I need these potatoes peeled. I want to make enough to last a couple meals." Muireanne spoke as she she heard the horses making a ruckus.
"Lilyblossom, please sheck on the horses. They either sense or sees something disturbing. Most likely a snake but shoo it away because they are my only way to move this wagon...." she spoke as she began to skin the rabbit.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom continued to laugh, "oh I know what scared them and it was quite funny to watch." She managed to get out.

[The Creator]

"Those horses better not be hurt!" Muireanne spt out as she stomped out of the wagon to see the creatures advancing very close to the horses.

"Begone you foul creature, for if I had my way, you will rue the day that you ever showed your features. For the one who did not help, you will now have wings of lead instead. Fly you will not for you helped me not." It was not the best spell she ever wove but it would do considering it was in the spur of the moment. Now she knew why she had to make and memorize spells to her own dislike.

The weird looking creature looked up and then slithered back into the river where it came from. Muireanne went back into the wagon in a foul mood.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom frowned, "it wasn't like lil Runith was going to case them any harm. He was simply trying to have some fun," She jumped down from where she had been laying. While the odd looking creature, turned back into what looked to be a fairy sprite hybrid. As the boy walked up to Lilyblossom he looked at her with wide eyes, "don't worry you didn't do anything wrong." She whispered, "but maybe you should go inside and help her. I but it would make the human feel better," he nodded and touched Lilyblossoms' wings. They mostly went back to normal, though she still wouldn't be able to fly for a while. The boy went inside, while the fairy went over and stroked the horses. For her they were weird looking animals, but she said nothing about it.

Muireanne heard a small foot step and looked towards the door to see a boy.
"May I ask just what are you doing in my house?" she spoke a bit harshly for she was still in a foul mood. She had a fairy with lead wings to deal with and a meal to prepare and a trip into a city that she did not know. Perhaps she should have gone north instead of south but she always wanted to visit the south.....

[Arcus]

The boy looked like he was about to cry, when he got yelled at. Especially since he had come to help, he looked up at the angry woman tears still in his eyes. As he started making a number of gestures, but didn't make a sound otherwise. Lilyblossom was nice to the horses even found a few acorns for them to eat.

[The Creator]

Muireanne sighes at the sight of the young boy with tears flowing down his face.
"I'm sorry lad but I am not angry with you. it's Lilyblossom that I am angry at. She doesn't seem to be aware that steeds can break their legs easily if they are scared of something.... Come and sit down then I'll give you a bite to eat....." she spoke more kindly as she looked into her cookie jar.
Meanwhile aweetums walked over to the boy and put his paw on his leg and smiled up at him.

[Arcus]

Runith blinked at the monkey and went inside, going over to some vegtables that he thought needed chopping for whatever the lady was making. So went over and started cutting it, while Lilyblossom noticed that one of the horses wasn't using one of its' legs like the other. So looked at the hoof and pulled something out of it. That made the horse give a slight cry, before it put more weight on it. She wasn't sure that was such a good idea, but didn't know how to stop it. So instead started head inside, where she knew the sorcess was.

[The Creator]

When she turned around she noticed the boy working on the veggies.

"Never knew a boy who would volunteer to scrub and cut up veggies before. What is your name, lad? After all I can't keep calling you lad now can I?" Muireanne gently then heard one of the horses cry out in pain. She hurried to the door where she met Lilyblossom.
"What is wrong with the horse? I heard it call out in pain!" she spoke in a worried voice.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom held up a nail, "found this in its' hoof. Couldn't have been comfortable, so I pulled it out. But I was wondering if we needed to tried the area where it was in at all, though it is already actting like it feel better." Runith remained silent and continued to work on the vegtables.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith frowns at the commotion, then pulls out a knife to begin peeling potatoes as she was asked. At the very least, it wasn't horses. She peels in silence, trying hard not to cut her fingers.

[The Creator]

Muireanne took the nail and examined it.
"Tis a horseshoe nail. Most likely came from it's shoe. I'll get my shoe kit and check it out. Thanks for bringing it to me." she said as she went to the drivers bench. She took out a salve and the hoof kit before heading to the horses.
"Ok now which one of you lost a nail? Shadow, I am going to check your hooves and Mystique you will be next." she petted their noses then started to work on the hooves.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom yawned, before climbing back up to top of the carriage. She debated taking a nap or asking why those animals need to wear shoes.

[The Creator]

Muireanne soon finished checking out the hooves, put away the tools and salve before she went back inside.
"How is the stew coming along? And I never did find out your name Lad. So do you want to tell me your name or do I keep on calling you Lad?"

[Arcus]

Runith had been dropping the vegtables he had already cut into the pot, he looked up at her. Simply blinking, Lilyblssom sighed. Having heard the question, she dropped off the top and went inside. "Lil Runith can't speak and he doesn't really care what you call him." The boy nodded, "though he is sorry for making you upset." Again the boy nodded, before looking around for more vegtables to rinse and cut.

[The Creator]

Muireanne looked at Runith.
"Were you the beastie that frightened my horses? Eh, I guess that boys will be boys but don't scare the horses again, ok Laddie?
Now do you have a home or parents or anything?"

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom yawned, as Lil Runith pointed at Lilyblossom. "He only scared them because he knew they wouldn't get hurt. With the soft soil so close to the river, absorbing any impact he might have cause from scaring them. It isn't like he would have done it if he thought they would get hurt. He simply wanted to have a little fun, as for home. That is back in his lake in the Erna-dwa."

[The Creator]

"I see.. Well I didn't know that the ground was soft enough for them not to get hurt and they are the only family I have. I do want to keep them alive as long as possible....." Muireanne spoke softly as she worked on the stew.
"Now that is finished, I'll start the bread then the desserts and perhaps even some cookies if I have enough flour left over."

[Arcus]

Runith looked around, "I don't think there is anything left for you to do. Since Lilith has the potatoes, you can go back into the river if you like." Lilyblossom said, the boy nodded with a pointy toothed smile and headed back for the river. When he was gone she yawned, and took a seat.

[The Creator]

"Tell me about Runith. He seems to be a good boy for the most part. He is..... well different than any other boy I ever met before." she said as she began to mix up the bread.

[Arcus]

"he is a rumahul ca han, in my tongue it means one who live under the runes. He simply takes whatever form he wishes, no one knows how old he is but he must still be a child. because no matter what form he takes it is never of a full grown creature. Oh, also he can't verbally talk non of the rumahul ca han can." Lilyblossom said in an even tone.

[The Creator]

"I have not ever heard of them. There are many things that I need to learn. The bread is ready to rise so lets do a couple cobblers then a batch of cookies...... I am debating about stopping here for the night. What do you think of spending the night here?"

[Dragoon120]

Liliith finishes peeling the potatoes and walks over to the Sorceress, "Okay the potatoes are done. Is that all, or do you have any other tasks needing to be done?"
It's not often that she offers assisstance, but she might as well be helpful. She stuffs her hands in her pockets and looks around, wondering if there would be anything to do if the Sorceress did not need anymore assisstance.

[The Creator]

"If you would to, you can mix the oatmeal, cinnamin, brown sugar in a bowl to be put on top of the fruit cobbler. The fruit filling is in a jar in the basket under that counter next to you. I'll start making some cookies then."

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom laughed, "of course you hadn't heard about the rumahul ca han they only live in Erna-dwa. Or what you humans call the fairy forest."

[Dragoon120]

Lilith nods and begins working away. She frowns in deep thought and makes sure to not mess anything up, but fails considerably at not making a slight mess.

[The Creator]

"I'd like to know things so I can learn and understand." Muireanne ignored the bit of a mess since assumed that Lilith would clean it up herself. She went over to the stove and stirred up the fire before placing a pan of cookies in.

[Arcus]

Luluyblossom simply shrugged.

[The Creator]

"Do either of you have any maps or can you make maps of Erna-dwa and any other places? I am collecting them and would pay a bit for a good map." she offered.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom yawned, "I was suggest you not go into Erna-dwa. Unless you have a death wish, now if you really. Want something. I can make you one, but if you go into that forest. Then I would suggest you stay in Erna-Fra, otherwise you will be killed on the spot."

[The Creator]

"I would appreciate the map. It will also warn me if I get close to that area. I'll try to remember your advice, Lilyblossom. Perhaps Runith can meet me there some day....." she took the first batch of cookies out of the oven and put another pan of cookies inside before she kneaded the bread and set in loaf pans.

[Arcus]

"Don't know anything about Erna-fra, so can't be much help on that one." Drew out a map of Erna-dwa for the sorcess.

[Dragoon120]

Lilith finishes with the preparing of the, what she would assume, cobbler. It's not exactly a pretty sight... She cleans up her mess and turns to the Sorceress, "Well, there you go. Sorry if it's a bit of a mess, I did say I was no great cook..."
She dusts her clothes off and looks at Lilyblossom drawing out a map. Well, if the map is accurate, it'd mean she's good with memorizing places.

[Alter Ego]

Kai followed after Garrett, nodding his head in agreement.

"Yeah, maybe he's right. Maybe you don't have to fight, but just sort things out and have a heart-to-heart. Not something I would do, but you know. Whatever works," Kai said, sticking his hands into his pockets before bringing them out once more, gently helping Rose stand up.

"Well? Do you want to talk or would you rather just fight it out?" the dark-haired boy asked, looking at Jenny for her answer.

[Roseora]

"What are we supposed to talk about though?" Rose said, letting Kai help her up. She kept her hand tightly gripping her hilt and her glare focused on Jenny.
"Um, how you ran away from the village when we got attacked? How you didnt stick with us?" Jenny sneered. Rose glared at her. "You know... I couldnt find you. I tried... You werent at home. I left, I wanted to find you." Rose said, somewhat defensivly.

"And you didnt tryto fight?" Jenny added with a smirk. She knew she had Rose stepping on thin ice at this point. "You had your swords didnt you?"

"And they had guns. Do you really think wed be having this conversation if we had fought back?"

Jenny picked up her own blade again. Rose tensed, expecting a fight coming, but Jenny threw the dagger to the side and held her arms out. "Youd been denying all that long enough." She said, her smile softening. "There was nothing anybody could do. But the wars over now right?" Jenny said, stepping forward and pulling Rose into a hug.

"Hey, the south pretty much destroyed those western villages too..." Rose said, wiping a tear away and trying not to let it show. Kai and Garret did not need to see her being so soft, but hopefully now they would wake up, and go back to sailing and exploring dragon temples. She somewhat hoped that if the others had left they had taken her, Kai and apparently Garret, with them. And that nobody has destroyed her boat yet.

(I guess we can wake up now unless Kai and Garret have anything else they need to do.)

[The Creator]

"Now we shall take the last of the cookies and put the cobbler in the oven. I shall show you two where you will be sleeping. I have one spare bedroom with a full sized bed in it. I keep the various doors locked just in case." she put the cobblers in and headed upstairs.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom yawned, "actually if you don't mind I will be sleeping on top." She said pointing upwards..

David pushed open the door to the inn, and shuffled across the dirt-covered stone floor. The innkeeper looked briefly at him from where he was sitting before returning to his book. At least the people here didn't ask too many questions, such as how he acquired a rifle. The stairs creaked as he climbed up it's steep slope, finally coming to his room. Maybe Lauren would be here, he wondered as he opened the door and entered, tossing his cloak onto the table. Or, he thought as he looked around the bare room, maybe she wouldn't. David picked up his rifle and slung it over his shoulder. He had made his decision, he was leaving tonight. He picked his weapons and supplies from the table, bolstering his throwing knives and sheathing his sword. He placed a small amount of money on the table, enough to get Lauren through a few weeks rent, once she came back, and threw his cloak on. After he left the inn, the sky was beginning to grow dark. Without hesitation, David headed for the city gates.

Lilith shrugs, not really caring if she was given a spot on the floor. A place to sleep is only for sleeping, not a place of luxury. Dirt ground or a box is a place to sleep just as much as a bed.
She follows the Sorceress, a bored expression plastered on her face.

[The Creator]

"Here is your bedroom. It's not all that much but I am sure that the room will be comfy. Will Runith want a room?" Muireanne asked as she walked into the room.

Lauren let out a yawn as she stepped through the door into the room. She dumped her coat on the chair and said "hello." Somewhat hoping that David was in. Her eyes drifted to the table once she noticed how bare the room seemed.

She looked at the money on the table. It was enough to keep her in the room for a few more weeks, she thought as she noticed all the weapons and sharp pointy things had been taken away. He must have left. She stood uneasily in the room for a few seconds, before sitting down on the bed and getting out a newspaper. She flicked through the ads, looking for anything useful, maybe someone needed another waitress or shopkeeper.

Her mind kept drifiting back to David, however. She sighed amd put the newspaper down. Maybe shed be able to catch up with him? She was tired,but a short distance aouldnt hurt. She clicked her fingers and materialised somewhere in the field outside the city. She took a few seconds to catch her breath before jogging towards the gate in hopes of at least saying a proper goidbye.

[Alter Ego]

Kai smiled softly as Rose and her sister made up.

"Alright, I think it's time for us to wake up..."

Just as he said that, the world around them once again began to melt; the trees, the grass, even Jenny began to melt into absolutely nothing. Kai looked up, where he saw a faint blue light glowing. He squinted up at it, trying to see what it was...

...Then he woke up.

Kai's eyes snapped open, his lungs taking in a deep breath of air. He let out a nasty cough, looking around frantically as he tried to figure out where he was. He looked behind him, and saw a rather large head behind him.

"Dent...?" he breathed, waiting for the realization of everything to settle in. When it did, he began to fling his fists at Dent's back. "Let me go, let me go! I'm not a kid, I can walk!" He stopped when he remembered Rose. "Rose? Rose! Are you awake?" she asked, seeing the sprite's body on Dent's other shoulder.

David strode down the path towards the gate, the cold air reminded him of home, but it wasn't as cold as he would prefer. He liked to taste the frost on his lips, feeling the crunch of sleet under his boot. All that was gone now, but that was life wasn't it? No rest for the weary, no humour for those who need it. As he passed under the gates, he saw a black silhouette against the horizon. He squinted at whoever it was, trying to make them out, then slowly, he recognised her. "Where have you been?" he asked, as he drew closer to her.

[Arcus]

Lilyblossom yawned and shook her head, "no. Lil Runith will want to sleep in the river." She said before her stomach growled, "I'm going to check on the stew."

Rose stepped back as her sister started to dissapear. It wasnt really her sister, she knew that. It felt nice to have seen her face again though. She let out a small sigh but looked up quikly as she heard someone yellig her name. She jerked awake and found herself being carried along by... Dent?

"Im awake now..." She said, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and letting out a groan. "Did all that just happen, or have I lost more sleep this month than expected...?" She groaned, wriggling out of Dents grip. She somewhat hoped it hadnt really happened, and that Kai and Garret hadnt seen the whole thing. But... How else would she have been able to see Kais dream? She glanced up at him, embarrased. She couldnt think of anything to say.

"I..." She paused, stopping again and bending over slightly. "I was out... Looking for a job..." She said, as she saw David and he asked where shed been. "You werent going to run off without sayi g goodbye were you?" She asked again with a slight smirk.

"Well, I might've," David shrugged, "but I thought the money'd be enough for you". He brushed a bit of dirt off his arms, "The work here is too difficult, it'd be only a matter of time before I got caught. The west has got no money in it, and in the north I'm a wanted man, so I figured I'd head for the coast. So I wish you the best of luck" David turned and began to walk away.

"Hmm... I could have given you a lift if youd waited till tomorrow... But if you want to leavenow, best of luck to you too." She said, slightly dissapointed. Shed begun to like David quite a bit, despite his somewhat mysterious, quite dark 'job' Maybe he just appealed to her rebellious side.

Lilith observes the room for a bit, then turns to the Sorceress, "So, when do you suppose the food will be ready to eat..? I saw cookies, and I'm famished. The room is nice, by the way. It's... Uncommonly kind of you to offer such. Most wouldn't give two thoughts for travelers."
She even offers the slightest of smiles, but it feels foreign on her face. Smiling is something one earns the privilege for, and she's hardly earned the ability to do so.

Dent placed the two down on the deck and shuffled backward awkwardly. Garret suddenly appeared with shadows flying all about him. His cloak was raised as though a wind had blown it up but settled after a moment. The shadows disappeared as well. "Well wasn't that an enlightening journey! Now then, do you have any fifty years or older whiskey aboard?" He asked rubbing his hands together and looking around. Lars gestured to the crate of alcohol and Garret ran over with a cry of joy. He pulled out seven bottles and upended two of them at once, he didn't spill a drop. "Whoooo! That's good stuff!"
