Phyris always had a slight problem with authority and ended up consistently getting in trouble for his actions and punished, sometimes through refusal to supply rations. Given essentially a last chance by his lieutenant the man is fairly close to being dishonorably discharged from military service, perhaps even harsher punishments will be in his future. Now he has decided to take things into his own hands by contacting a Scaravian spy and planning on making an escape during an Infiltration by the foreigners. Currently he is garrisoned in his home town.

Abilities: None

Strike Team/Infiltration/Battlefield/Treasure Hunting/Bounty Unit 1 - (Infiltration) Assassin - The assassins of Scaravius are but a myth to some, for rarely are they ever seen. Deaths can be attributed to them but aside from the masters of these trained killers, none know the true death tolls. Assassins usually dress to match their surroundings and at night will wear dark blue garbs to make themselves match in with the night’s sky. Each assassin carries one janbiya, a grappling hook with rope, a weapon or insignia belonging to another faction, a fold-able telescope, one chisel, and a shamshir scimitar, and a deadly poison. The sheathe of their scimitars is filled with sand near the very end allowing them to draw their weapons quickly while flinging sand in the face of their foes.

Strike Team/Infiltration/Battlefield/Treasure Hunting/Bounty Unit 2 - (Infiltration) Traitors - With their reputation as having a focus on fighting in the shadows and using anything to their advantage, Scaravus is known to receiving more traitors than other nations. They communicate with the hidden members of Scaravus generally in secretive ways informing them of possible targets. Traitors can provide maps, tell of secret passages, or even aid in combat. Those around them will likely believe they are on the same side, and traitors will be dressed like the enemy. They will generally be low ranking members of the military wielding very basic weapons with simple gear. Traitors are handy though a part of any infiltration will involve taking them out of the area to bring them back to Scaravus.

Light Cavalry - Knights - The Knights of Leongarde prefer to fight from horseback wearing lighter armor than some of their contemporaries. They wear Barbutes, Hauberk, Spaulders, Cuirass(Front and Back), Gauntlets, Greaves, and Sabaton. As well they wield lances and heater shields, though some give up the shields so they can move just a bit faster. The Knights carry short swords for use on foot, as they are capable fighters on the ground or back of a horse.

Ranged Infantry - Archers -Wearing Vambraces, Barbutes, and Brigantines. Aside from that they use standard bows and are normal archers.

Spear Infantry - Footmen - Spear and shield wielding standard infantry of Leongarde. Most wear helmets and breastplates making them more likely to survive blows than the average spearmen. The shields they carry are heater shields made of wood with leather overlaid. Their normal helm is the barbute and their chest piece a Cuirass on the front only.

Light Infantry - Swordsman - Sword wielding infantry that use heater shields and straight shortswords. Usually used after the initial engagement of the spearmen, they are focused on close ranged combat. Wearing Barbutes, and Plackarts they are well suited for combat.

Medium Infantry - Berserkers - Clad in furs, these men are generally a bit more wild than the average soldier of Leongarde. Normally they use two handed axes and are very brutal in their assaults.

Introduction

Dezeroth awoke in Leongarde for whatever reason without much memory of anything. He was approached by a very kind woman whom which spoke as if the two had known each other. She helped him get up before packing up their things as they traveled together. Seeing her gear he realized or rather what she was. One of the Assassin of Scaravus, hidden behind a Leongardian shroud. They were heading towards a small trading outpost called Shatterspire which was known for its independent ways. The people while few in number were at the very center of a trade route and as such would frequently see wagons and soldiers passing through and by. Margret, as she was supposed to be called, was dressed like a common looking Leongarde woman with a very simple dress that covered her and hid the deadly weapons she carried below the clothing. Should she need to the dress can be torn off leaving her with trousers and a shirt to fight or run in. He too was dressed like a Leongardian in some way, he had also had a name that he was supposed to be called by. It seemed like whatever he thought of she would catch on to the deception and know to use the name. Stopping again just outside of town they went over their map while she let him use her telescope. The woman was very quiet without much personality to her. As she spoke she sounded like a Leongardian with a proper accent. At one point in the past she had showed him a tattoo upon her back of a simple leaf which was common among the Assassins and spoke of her order though to any normal person it would seem like a mundane body marking. This was to let him know her role in the operation and that she could be trusted with their mission. Looking at the map he could see a tower at a meeting point in the dirt roads. It looked to be fairly tall and was marked as the place where an artifact had been hidden. Apparently a small dagger had been found among a group of bandits and tossed in with their arms. However after hearing of the description of it the Scaravians realized it was a dagger that was enchanted, it could be used to collect blood and carve into materials with the blood dagger to create runes with certain effects. A Lieutenant would likely be watching over the item and staying in a tower, a harsh man that was known for his rigid ways. Their informant worked under the man and apparently wished to see him die before making his own escape. They had a rudimentary physical description of the important names they knew about in the town. There was word that the people of the town being so independent were unhappy with the rule of the Lieutenant. Apparently they were fine with Leongardian laws but the man pushed them too hard, demanding food from them, housing for his men, and enacting strict curfews while punishing any that resisted. The people were hungry, and angry. The Southwestern most building was where they were supposed to meet him. It was the home to a hunter that he stayed in but the hunter would be gone on a trip for a few days. Small houses could be found in the Southwestern portion of the town while the Southeastern building was an Inn for travelers to stop in. To the Northeast in the town was the trading outpost itself, with an area to make trade in and another to store items. Supposedly weapons were being stored in the warehouse area. Stables were set up East of this building with horses being kept inside. One belonged to the Knight whom which was staying at the Inn. A civil Knight, the simplest way to put it, she was staying at the Inn possibly to aid in gathering information on the area and planning future skirmishes in the area. Guards would patrol the town with ones being set up around the tower and storage area mainly. Dezeroth might have to be careful due to his exploits. While highly unlikely it is possible someone like the Lieutenant would recognize who he is or simply catch him via profiling. This area had been targeted for weakening as the Scaravians are interested in taking the area. Still at their staging area to the South of the town they could see archers positioned at the very top of the tower. The woman was quiet while they were still in the cover of some trees South of the area though they'd have to begin heading North up the road soon to carry out their plans. She looked at him going over their cover, "You and I will pretend to be a couple. We don't look enough alike to pass off as relatives. We'll keep things simple and easy to remember. Married for two years, planning children, you work as a learned man writing and reading books. Something along those lines. Day had come with people now walking about the dirt roads that they could see, simple people often carrying objects while sometimes a child could be seen. It was time to weaken this area.

Almost immediately, nonchalantly, he wrapped a hand around the back of her waist and another meeting that hand around the front--A common sign of affection, and apparent enough. It would also give him a convenient excuse to talk quietly to her. Giving a smile, he'd lean over her head. "Alright. When we get to the traitor," He'd murmur softly enough that only she could hear, "We're going to try starting a riot first, mm? Perhaps he'll have a way of suggesting to the citizens without actually saying anything that there's food...In that storehouse."

Acting as a couple the two continued their walk into the town with people walking around them. A Leongarde spearmen walked towards them then continued on past shooting them a smile underneath his helm. She returned the smile to him while turning in close to whisper with him more. "We should find where they keep food and try to get it into the storehouse just in case. That way if they act we'll have evidence to fall back onto." There was a shack nearby with an opening, inside of it looked to be simple tools like shovels and pitchforks. She looked over at the tower with the archers at the top of it. They seemed to be focused on looking off in the distance and had mountings set up where torches could go. The assassin looked around at the hungry looking people with them carrying the various tools and goods around. "They're likely having them aid with moving resources somewhere. If we can get them to turn on the tyrants maybe they can use whatever they're transporting to help destabilize this town." Across the ways an old man was sitting on the steps to his house and looked at them waving his hand. Her head tilted back while she smiled to him and waved in return. She returned her head under his while she continued, "We should meet with our contact as soon as possible. Then perhaps deal with that Knight that should be staying here." Over at the Inn a Berserker had gone outside seemingly to get some air before shaking her head and marching off towards the trees behind the storehouse and trading post. This area was in sight of the archers currently. They were right outside of the house which the traitor should be in, a table was partially visible which had a Leongarde helm resting on it. The house beside his had a man upon it with a hammer putting in new boards. He looked to be a large muscular older man with dark hair and many gray streaks. Shirtless with sweat dripping down his hairy back the man continued his work while doing repairs. Going into the entrance of the tower was a Leongarde man in armor with a very stern air about him. He was flanked by two sturdy looking Leongarde Swordsmen with their weapons in sheathes and shields resting on their arms.

Dezeroth made a slight nod, giving a grin to the berserker. "Of course," He said, "As a matter of fact, the Knight is our second order of business, right after planting food in the storehouse." Finally coming to the entrance of the house, he knocked on the door. "Phyris, my good friend! Kindly allow us in, would you? It's been a long journey, and we have much to discuss!" Quietly, he spoke to her now. "Of course, I can't imagine how we're going to get the food in there. Perhaps those workers you mentioned could provide ample opening."

Inside of the house a man stood as Dezeroth knocked on the door frame, he was wearing the armor of a swordsman. In the corner was his sword in its sheath against the wall while his shield was on the table along with the helm they could see from outside. There actually wasn't a door to the room so he walked over to them looking very tired. The bed in the room had blue blankets which were old looking and beside it was a sort of hay bedding. He looked at them with a bit of surprise before widening his eyes. "I almost didn't recognize you two it's been so long. Come on in take a load off. Listen the guy I live with is currently out on a trip so don't worry about you know, privacy." He walked over to them while picking up his helm and putting it on, the man's long nose stuck out of it. Holding out a hand he was awaiting a handshake as the assassin gave him a dainty one in an attempt to seem like a common woman while he bowed his head to her before holding the hand towards Dezeroth. While the man was smiling looking into his eyes Dezeroth could see he was heavily fatigue like he had stayed up all night with scratch marks on the side of his neck from human hands, as well he had been biting his fingernails. A map was set up on the table which his helm must have been sitting upon. It seemed to be a map of movements of Leongarde troops in the region with some heading East towards Scaravus. The man stood a bit to the side meaning they could walk in since he wasn't blocking their path while she began to move inside with him. The house was very simple with a few cabinets and a trunk. Likely this building was only temporary until larger more long lasting ones could be built in their place.

The mage returned the handshake but, fascinated with the map, Dezeroth lead the assassin in a little quicker than ordinary. Once they were in, he unwrapped himself from her, making a beeline for the map. He was absolutely silent. Looking at it, he smiled slowly. "This is everything we need for the first step of our plan." He gestured to the Assassin and the Swordsman. "Supply caravan. I need to know where their nearest supply caravan is. Or at the very least, when the next one will arrive."
He glanced over at the man, "And don't worry. We'll ask you a few questions, and then you'll have to wait until Phase Two, but you'll be out of here. I assure you." Pulling out his Map, he uncorked the container it was held in, bringing out a few blank sheets and some marking chalk. "After we know where the supply caravan is, we're going to need to know the troop positions in the tower. And probably the layout of the tower itself, if you happen to know where the dagger is being held."

The swordsman seemed to point over towards the West on the map walking up behind Dezeroth as the assassin walked over to the windows checking them. "Try to keep it down." The swordsman spoke in a hushed way. "There is a caravan already on its way that should be arriving soon. I can't say the exact time since I don't know that, but I know it will be bringing in food so they can try to make everyone stop complaining. The fools will eat it up thinking they care but I know how that bastard lieutenant thinks. It's a one time thing to trick 'em. After that they'll go back to starving. The people know the food is coming too." The man pointed on the map where the tower was, "They keep the dagger there. I'm not sure what your interest is in it but I'm guessing it isn't just a dagger." He walked over to his weapon picking it up and putting it on his hip. "I'm going to be heading towards it in just a bit. They keep it either on the Lieutenant or on the top floor where the archers usually stand watch. I need to go on watch to keep up the illusion but I can sneak away for the escape, trust me when I say I don't wish to stay in this hell any longer." He got very close to Dezeroth's face. "Reinard hasn't been the same since the loss of his son and the army is reflecting off of him, Leongarde is dead and I don't want to be stuck to a sinking ship." Margret came away from the window and looked out the front door as people went by paying no mind to them. There was enough cover sound from the man hammering the roof that likely unless someone was right against the walls they couldn't be heard. The Swordsman pointed at the top of the tower, "Generally they keep three archers active up here at all times." Then he pointed to the front entrance, "Usually two Footmen are kept here with four others on the inside. The third floor is usually empty with the second story having those who are practicing with their weapons. The Lieutenant is usually there helping to make sure they don't get rusty." Next he pointed at the Inn, "Be careful in here and don't try to start any fights. There are men and women here that just look like leather wearing workers but they're soldiers of Leongarde on leave. Berserkers." The Assassin mentioned, "If they are all having a round of drinks we can poison them."

Dezeroth nodded. "Good idea. But for now, let's head out. We're going to see about taking out that caravan and stealing the food." He stood up now, gesturing to the Assassin. "We'd better get going." As soon as she was at the entrance, he'd resume his previous stance with her, leaning over to say, "We'll exit from the south, heading west into the woods. From there, we'll continue until we're safely out of sight. We'll take out the caravan, burn it all down except for the food, and move back through the woods. We'll figure out how to get the food into the storehouse from there." With that said, he'd begin walking down the southern road again, aiming to follow the plan as had been stated already.

Phyris nodded to the idea while getting all of his gear ready as they left to the South and then headed North West to meet with the Caravan. Reaching the road he had the layout of the area and could see the top of the caravan in the distance. There looked to be a peasant wearing simple cloth sitting beside a Swordsman. Walking around the caravan were three Footmen as well. They were using a wagon to travel with a covered back. Currently the group was at the edge of the road he could see and heading in their direction. Margret made her own suggestions. "We could use the bridge to our advantage, but if the wagon falls in the water the food will be soaked. We can use it as an ambush area and sit under the bridge and attack from below though we'll have to wait before returning which could arouse suspicion, since we'll need to dry out. Those rocky walls of the short cliff look like they can be scaled. It might be a good idea to detach the horses. Though I'm not sure how we'll transport the food." The sun was high in the sky with butterflies fluttering about. There were some wild flowers around as well as a few rocks by the road which were naval height. Trees also were about the area and were thicker up the short cliff.

"Actually," Dezeroth said simply, "We won't need to worry about hiding underneath the bridge. I'll use ice. What we do need to worry about is how you're going to get behind them." Already he was making his way down toward the bridge, still sticking to the trees. "See...You're going to make sure that nobody escapes. Oh, right; hand me whichever weapon you're going to be using for this." He held out his hand while he was still making his way toward the bridge.

The Assassin handed her scimitar over to him in its sheath from under her dress which she also took off. "Just be careful, there is sand in the hilt. I'm going to do this in just these clothes in case of blood spatter." She looked off into the distance as the caravan was now reaching the slope leading down the short cliff. "I would be of more use during an ambush, if I can perhaps set up in one of the trees if any flee West I can jump onto them. Though maybe I should set up over here and try to take out any that get past you." She pointed towards the trade outpost. "If they head to the West it will be long before they reach anyone and can send reinforcements, but if they get to the trade outpost our whole plan will fall apart and they'll be on guard. I can set up over here in a tree and jump onto anyone trying to get past you to warn them. I could even set up a low shin high trap using my grappling hook." Margret motioned to the rock by the bridge and the tree near to it. The two were now in front of the bridge by the tree South of it.

Eddren

Dezeroth nodded. "Do so." Raising the Scimitar, he murmured a few words. Lightning sizzled across the blade, before forming into a single rune. He handed it to the assassin. "It's just a precaution; if you come across more than one opponent, the lightning should temporarily stun one of them and allow for you to deal with the other." He focused back on the bridge, now. Moving through the forest to a point where he could see the water beneath the bridge, he raised his hands, concentrating. Water rose until it seemed to stick to the bottom of the bridge as he waited for the caravan to reach the pass.

She took her weapon and sheath it making sure the sand had reached the hilt end of her sheath before fully pushing it in. He could see her set up the hook at the rock and then bring the rope across and tie it around the tree making a trap to trip up someone running. Though if they took their time and walked to it they'd easily spot it. After that the Assassin climbed the tree while keeping her scimitar sheathed and took out her curved dagger. Dezerith was in position South of the bridge by a tree to its East side while the Caravan was coming from the West. Water rose to touch the bridge while he waited as the Caravan now reached it and started to cross. They were now just starting to cross it slowly with two spearmen walking at the front. One of the Footmen walked behind as the Swordsman seemed to be looking off North and pointed while talking loud enough for him to hear. "Yeah the people of Firanos have been quite aggressive but it won't last. Eventually the tides will turn and they'll find themselves spread thin with land they don't know how to defend." The cart driver was a peasant in a white tunic with brown trousers and black boots. He was a bit older looking with a bald head and brown hair on the back and sides of his head. A thin mustache was upon his face while he looked North for a bit. Both of the Footmen in the front seemed alert with their eyes darting around frequently and weapons raised while the one in the back only casually walked holding his spear on his shoulder.

Gesturing, Dezeroth brought the water up from the bridge, specifically behind the two soldiers in front. With a cutting motion, it formed into several ice-spikes which launched themselves at the Soldiers. One, however, he kept reserved for the Peasant, which he did not aim directly at the man with, but instead shot a little ahead of him, before forcing it to explode. He wasn't sure if it would do anything more than startle the man, but he was hoping to buy some time so that the Soldiers could be effectively eliminated.

The ice did as Dezeroth commanded with the Footmen closest to him being struck in his lower back at a weak point in his armor and the other in his upper back. Both stumbled forwards with the closest one falling to his knees and gagging, though the other had ice stabbing into his armor Dezeroth didn't see it go in as deep. He was still weighted down by it as he shook and looked about. The exploding ice spike dotted the driver with fragments that stuck into his skin through his clothing, his arms and stomach were bleeding now while he yelled in pain. At the back of the group of Footmen he could see a third spearmen now running from the back of the Caravan and around the icy water towards Dezeroth with his eyes locked upon the mage. The man looked to be a bit older as he kept his shield raised while charging. Yelling to the still living Footmen in front of the Caravan, the Swordsman pointed forwards, "Run! We need to get off this bridge!" Hearing this the man began to run forwards as the wagon followed behind him with the driver bleeding and leaning back. Currently the Swordsman was using one hand to control the horses while using his other to hold his shield. They were heading in the direction of the trap.

Eddren

Dezeroth knew that the one unhindered by the Caravan wouldn't have any trouble whatsoever running into the trap. Furthermore, he wouldn't weigh it down any. However, horses were heavy, and he was rather unwilling to allow them to simply advance. Raising a hand, he allowed scorching flames to shoot from it, splitting the soldier away from the wagon. Raising his other hand, he allowed for a barrage of wind to hit the soldier guiding the beast. Harmless, until the Mage redirected the fire into the wind and merged the two elements, creating a bolt of lightning with which to strike the soldier.

Dezeroth's fire startled the horses which stopped just after getting off the bridge and kicked wildly. Because of this the cart too stopped and as he took his time to fire the lightning the Leongardian Swordsman dove to the ground causing the lightning to hit the Caravan and splinter the wood while also finishing off the original driver. However the man's sword was still up where he had been sitting, and it was launched out onto the ice. Laying prone the man got up and started to move along the Northern side of the horses, Dezeroth could see his hands attempting to remove straps from the frightened beasts. The Spearmen that had been charging at Dezeroth was now getting into melee range as he kept his shield covering his midsection while thrusting the spear towards the mage's torso. He could see the Soldier that had run East now trip up and fall forwards as Margret jumped from the trees with her sword drawn. The Spearmen was turning over with his spear raised when sand hit him in the eyes, his spear twisted away while he yelled in annoyance before a scimitar landed in the man's lower stomach. She leg go of the blade while using her dagger to slit his throat before he could even respond, the Assassin had yet to use the enchantment on her weapon though. Only the Swordsman, the one Spearman, and the horses were alive aside from Dezeroth and the Assassin.

Cursing his inattentiveness, Dezeroth moved to the side, swiping toward the spear, through stopping before he could actually make contact. A gust of wind blew, hopefully knocking the spear off-course, and he threw his hands forward. It was more wind yet, but he then combined it with a fire-spell, turning it once-again into lightning. I hope she can stop that last one. He thought grimly.

The Footmen thrusting his weapon towards Dezeroth was knocked slightly off course. Still thrusting forwards the weapon went right over the Mage's right shoulder as lightning struck the man causing him to shake and collide with Dezeroth. While it may have been dangerous due to their proximity, by the time they collided with flesh and metal the lightning had already been sent into the ground. Both toppled over each other with the Spearmen landing on top of Dezeroth, he was still alive but seemed to be completely unconscious and his spear was stabbed into the ground beside them. Over by the Caravan the Swordsman had gotten the horse loose and jumped upon it while riding it forwards, he cleared the rope trap but lightning arced out from the Assassin's scimitar and sent his horse to a screeching stop, literally it sounded as if it was screeching as it crumpled to the ground. He was pinned beneath it and lifted his shield while she walked over to him with both weapons in hand. He covered his torso, but she merely stabbed her Scimitar through the Horse's back and into the man while he yelled in pain. The other horse was still kicking at the wagon while not moving forwards. Margret slowly approached it sheathing her weapons and holding her hands up to try and calm the horse. Somehow the Swordsman had pulled himself out from beneath the horse, as if he was going to attempt a mistake. Soon after though he finally perished from his wounds and went limp with the stunned one atop Dezeroth being the only Leongardian left alive.

Dezeroth shoved the unconscious Leongardian off of him, pulling the spear out of the ground and stabbing it into the man repeatedly until he was absolutely sure he was dead. Once he was satisfied, he'd drag him out into the road before incinerating the body. Walking over to the other man and his horse, he'd incinerate that body as well. "Calm that horse down and get it loaded up with food. We'll guide it through the forest and leave it there until we're sure how we'll get the supplies into the warehouse." When the food and the horse had been freed from the rest of the Caravan, he'd set fire to the bridge and the wagon, before finishing off the last swordsman. The incinerations would not be hot enough to melt steel, simply so hot that it would blacken the skin. When finally it was done, he would nodded, satisfied. "This should be sufficient incentive to believe that the attack was brought about by Firanos," He mused. "Alright, let's get back to town. Hopefully before someone stumbles on this."

The Assassin actually stopped Dezeroth from burning one of the bodies. Margret stripped one of the corpses to be burned before the act, taking their uniform but leaving their armor. It would have turned to ash anyways. She picked up the Swordman's blade and heated it in the fire before stabbing him again in the places she had struck him earlier. Fierans don't use just fire, anyone can use just fire. But fire and marks from a Burning Blade Swordsman. That's pretty damning." They had taken the food out of the back of the cart and loaded what they could onto the horse that had survived. Both of them walked alongside the horse leading it East through the forest until both got close as they tied it up to a tree. She put the uniform in with the goods while putting her dress back on. "We should write a note addressed to the Lieutenant using some parchment from the town, plant it on the horse incriminating Leongarde in case any villagers are to stumble upon it. Soldiers might even question their orders." Her weapons were stored underneath her dress again while she spoke up. "If we do end up having to get into any battles, it might be a good idea to focus on using fire like you did with those bodies. To help cell the idea that a Fieran did this, if our cover gets blown." She was now prepared with the horse tied up, "Maybe I should stay behind to guard the horse. I can hide in the trees and kill anyone that stumbles upon the horse early. Though I'd have to find a good spot to hide bodies then. In any case we should perhaps start to work quickly with that group of bodies out there. Going for the Knight might be a good idea, taking her out of the way early on so that if the big even goes off we can at least retreat with something. We can also maybe use the uniform I took to our advantage, maybe one of us could pass off as a guard or messenger if we can find some armor."

Dezeroth frowned. "Yes, and in fact, the Knight might very well have the armor we need. Bits and pieces of it, anyway; I was thinking perhaps that you could make yourself look like an especially wounded courier. Blood and everything. Report in the kills, say that that's all that was left." He gestured to the horse, "The horse and the equipment." He shrugged, "Depending on how they react, you'll either have to run away or you'll get a shot at getting into the tower. Perhaps even a shot at the Lieutenant. Here," He gestured, "Give me your sword. I'll enchant it with fire." He made a mental tally of the spells he had used, Two spells of an advanced nature...Two enchantments...One spell of an advanced nature split into two sections...Five regular spells...I'm running low on Mana reserves. I should try and limit the amount of fire I use. He shook his head. "Anyway. Do you have a spare weapon I could use? My sword only works against weapons with magic infused in them."

"Disguising as a bloody scout won't be an easy task especially since the caravaneers have mostly been burned to a crisp, I think if we wish to get close to the Lieutenant we should turn to a distraction or our Leongardian traitor." She held out her scimitar to him. "I'm not sure how well that will work if we end up in open combat, since they'll see it is a scimitar." After that the assassin also handed him her Jambiya. "This will be easy to conceal, the sheath can fit around your inside shoulder, or even your wrist." Margret offered another idea, "Perhaps we can poison the Knight. If you wish to go with the disguise route then we could ensure that her armor isn't damage in combat against her. But we need to be careful about how much of her armor we end up using. People would likely recognize the armor of a Knight in full."

Dezeroth nodded. "Poison's an excellent route. I, personally, wouldn't be able to tell what goes where in time. But you, however, I'm confident could. And of course, we'd have to leave some behind." He frowned, "Though, I personally do not like the thought of leaving evidence behind. Perhaps, if we're quick enough, we can manage to keep anyone from discovering." He took both the weapons, closing his eyes and focusing fire within them. There goes another four... Runes appeared on each of the weapons. He handed back the scimitar, "Yes, I do believe that we'll be needing the Lieutenant alone in order to kill him effectively with fire." He put a hand to his chin, "So, once we have the disguise, perhaps we should try and discover a convincing lie that will allow us to get the horse into the storage area? With a blanket or something over it, of course."

Margret took her weapon back and stowed it underneath her dress. "Perhaps a small fire in the nearby woods would be enough of a distraction. In fact, we can get them to perhaps head in the direction of the Caravan, help sell the idea of Fierans attacking. During that time we could bring in the horse, one of us could even wear the Leongardian uniform. If anyone sees it, it will still look like they are holding out on food as long as we can keep the face obscured." Tugging on a part of her outfit she highlighted a small object that was cylindrical inside, "My poison is of the desert. I have extreme doubts they could even tell the difference, but if we want the poison to appear like it doesn't come from Scaravus, there is probably rat poison in the village." After saying this she raised her shoulders slightly before lowering them and blowing the hair out of her eyes. "And a convincing lie, well we can merely tell whoever is in the storehouse that it isn't their business. Act secretive, and that if they mention it to anyone they'll face execution for treason. Something that will make them not wish to speak out at the moment, but if a rebellion were to happen they'd join in." Now her right hand was held out in the direction of the village, "Shall we move on?"

Dezeroth nodded. "We shall." He began walking that direction, hand on chin. These next steps were going to have to be done carefully; the assassin would first have to poison all of the beserkers and the knight before he could start the fire, and then they'd have to very quickly make their way to the storehouse. And then, of course, they'd have to wait until they had gotten the ring. The Lieutenant should have smelled a trap and ambushed them, and then they'd have their perfect opportunity. One last act of burning for the stables, give the informant his last batch of papers, and slip away. He nodded; Hopefully things will continue working ideally.
