The Kingdom Naldraenth___________________________
Under the corrupted leadership of King Luther the Fourth and Queen Julia Theodore, the mad couple destroyed many of the neighboring kingdoms and villages. As their land expanded, so did their power and influence over their people. After a few months had gone to pass, Luther suddenly became ill. The king blamed his own servant, a Ja’qion, because the servant was the only person closest to the king. The Ja’qion servant was gruesomely beheaded. The King's sickness and his fury was directed towards anyone relating to or affiliated with the Ja’qions worsened. His unfair treatment of these people started small. The king excluded the Ja’qions from certain areas of his kingdom, raised their taxes, and exiled many he to be or thought to be of Ja'qion heritage; forcing them to stay within reservations located in Narratia.
Sadly, his torture of the Ja’qion worsened when his Queen died from an serve stroke. After she was laid to rest, King Luther almost immediately had every home, belonging to the Ja’qions, invaded by his powerful and seemingly unstoppable army. Some were arrested and executed on sight. While most of the captured Ja’qion were kept alive and shipped into other kingdoms as slaves. This terrible abuse of the Ja’qions continued for many centuries. However, during Lorilqua’s Age of Enlightenment, there was an uproar between all race. Many began to realize that all humans are equal and, therefore, deserving of equal liberties and treatment before the law. Thus, they could no longer allow the unfair and abusive treatment of the Ja’qion to continue. The Ja’qions' numbers were rapidly diminishing.
There were many great wars; many battles lost and won. Yet, in the end, after many years of fighting - common people against the mighty king - the ancestor of Luther, Frederick, was overthrown. Frederick and his family was mercifully spared and exiled from Lorilqua. Slavery of any race was abolished by law. The remaining Ja’qions were given new homes, currency, and many other essentials needed to start anew. It was in the hopes of many people that they could restore their heritage in the best way possible.
About King Luther Theodore the Fourth_______________
He was an very insane man. Overly paranoid and believing that people were planning to destroy him and his family. The man would be seen talking, yelling, at no one - he was always alone. Always saying that spirits were talking to him - that his destiny was to replace the gods. Insanity drove him to murder and, eventually, to his grave. One day, believing that he could fly, Luther leaped from the bell tower and plumage downwards; instantaneously dying. His ancestors continued Luther’s plans of an Ja’qion-free world for many years until Frederick was overthrown and family exiled.
About Queen Julia Theodore_________________________
She hated everyone, even her husband. She married him for his riches and power; truly the brains behind everything he wanted done. The queen knew what she was doing to the Ja’qion was wrong, however - just as sick as her husband - she found it entertaining. However, karma later destroyed this selfish, evil queen. Julia was an obese glutton; always stuffing her face with food. One night, after eating an whole, greasy chicken with breaded stuffing, she felt pains in her chest and collapsed from her seat. And believe this, burying this women took nearly twenty men.
The Story Thus Far__________________________________
The Kingdom Naldraenth has a new, fair King and Queen, Leister and Jade Otanah. Naldraenth, currently on its second Golden Age, established a system of checks and balances. Thus, something like the Ja'qions' near genocide crisis would never occur again. Better laws were passed and technologies became more advanced. Welcome, stranger, to Naldraenth.
The rules of Lorilqua_______________
1. This is a community/family RP where romance is sure to be involved.
2. No god-moding.
3. Three characters per person.
4. Please, try and have your character interact with more than one other person. If your character has been interacting with just one character for a long, long, long time, then I'll ask the two of you to leave and you can do a one on one.
5. The minimum posting requirement is five full sentences [one paragraph]. She looked up. "That's neat." She said. She then walked away. Still smiling, Does NOT count.
6. You may put a picture or banner of your character (anime only) in your posts. Use spell check and look over your post before submitting it. Some typos are fine, but when people can't understand what you are saying, then we've got a problem. No "text speak" either! Example: "Plz dnt tlk lyk dis." Use quotation marks if your character is talking and do NOT use (*) for actions.
7. When submitting your profile, just post it here and wait for me to accept.
8. If you want to be the owner of a store, you have to provide a name and do try to be age sensitive job wise. No doctor of any kind should be 19 and if your character looks like (s)he's 7-12, don't say that they are 22. It's ridiculous!
9. To keep the role play moving, I will occasionally submit a time progression post. Morning to afternoon, afternoon to evening, evening to night (Nights will be relatively short). This is NOT a time skip, but do make sure your character responds appropriately. When I do make a time skip, you are expected to make sure your next post responds to it accordingly.
10. Also, put down all important information in your profile. Don't leave out important info for the sake of "suspense", either. If you find out something new about your own character, add it to your profile - but don't completely reconstruct your character.
11. Keep out of character chat to a minimum in the IC thread. There's an OOC thread for a reason.
12. Please use a little of your creative juices and make your characters somewhat interesting. Having too many characters with the same personalities can get boring quickly.
13. When you make a post, find other people! Don't be a wall flower all the time crying for attention. If it's part of your character, I get it, but if you do it too much I'll ask you to stop nicely.
14. If you are going to quit please let me so I can remove your characters off of the job and calender posts. Your profile will remain listed in case you decide to come back.
15. Please post at least twice a week to keep things going. If you do not - on top of not letting myself know that you are on vacation or something - then your inactive character(s) will be removed.
16. Pregnancy: Alright, if your character(s) is pregnant, then she must wait two full seasons before giving birth. If the character is unsure about their pregnancy, then flip a coin. Head = Yes. Tails = No. If your character is pregnant, however doesn't want the child, she has two options:
>> Get an abortion.
>> Have and surrender the baby to the church or orphanage.
17. This RP is very freelance. Almost anything goes. However, zombies, werewolves, vampires, angels, demons and etc, are not allowed. Anything that isn't fully human, is not allowed. Period. However, anything else supernatural like spirits and ghost are allowed.
19. Characters must be the age of 23 and higher to work certain emergency jobs.
20. Characters must be the age of 25 and higher to own businesses or work certain government jobs.
21. Your character can have multiple jobs if working part-time. Part-timers may have the maximum of three jobs. Some characters could be(come) jobless depending on the circumstances.

The Setting of Lorilqua________________
Year and Era: It's 1865 in Lorilqua, Steampunk, Victorian Era.
In general, the category includes any recent science fiction that takes place in a recognizable historical period, an alternate history version of an actual historical period, where the Industrial Revolution has already begun and electricity is not (completely) widespread, with an emphasis on steam or spring propelled gadgets.
Various modern utilitarian objects have been molded by enthusiasts into a Pseudo-Victorian mechanical "steampunk" style. For example: these objects include computer keyboards and electric guitars. The goal of such redesigns is to employ appropriate materials (such as polished brass, iron, and wood) with design elements and craftsmanship consistent with the Victorian Era.

It is often said that lost souls drawn to the candles will be shepherded safely to the afterlife, soothed by the soft glow of light.

The People of Lorilqua_______________
Ja’qion:
The Ja’qion are rather small of stature, but muscular and agile. Both sexes have reddish-brown skin, high cheek-bones, straight broad noses, slanting eyes, and large mouths with a gentle expression. Their hair is usually straight and black, but in some individuals it is brownish and in others it is wavy. The females tend to corpulent and age rapidly; they are prolific, but the infant mortality is very great. They tend to have brown, hazel and green eyes. Their reddish-brown skin is rarely sunburned and is sometimes prone to tanning. Like Dan’Yervens, the Ja’qion males build muscle and strength rather quickly. They're prone to having issues with their hands and throat.
Chryntine:
The Chryntines, north of Lorilqua, are taller and bigger compared to the Chryntine of the south. They have small, slit-like, and/or slant eyes with single eyelids (i.e. an epicanthal fold). They also have longer, rugged faces (possibly with considerably more facial hair than Southern Chryntines). They tend to eat wheat-based food rather than rice-based food. Southern Chryntines are shorter and smaller compared to Northern Chryntines. They tend to have smooth, rounder faces, almond shaped eyes with double eyelids and eat rice-based food rather than wheat-based. However, generally speaking, Chryntines usually have long, straight brown to black hair. They are known for their lean, slim bodies. They are prone to issues with the neck and back. Also, they tend have fair white skin that's usually prone to sunburn and rarely tans.
Dan’Yerven:
Genetically, Dan’Yerven males and females tend to build muscles much faster compared to most ethnic groups. They also tend to become much fuller in body type, taller in height and weight than other ethnic groups. However, this depends on the individual. Dan'Yerven females, depending on their diet, tend to gain weight quicker around the gluteus maximus, thighs and stomach. Dan'Yerven males, depending on their diet, tend to gain weight mostly around the stomach. Most Dan'Yervens tend to have broader and fuller facial features. Their eyes are usually almond shaped. The most common eye colors among Dan'Yerven people are: Amber, Dark Brown, Light Brown, Chestnut, Hazel and Chocolate. Dan'Yervens have rich light to dark brown skin; which usually never burns or tans. Their hair color tends to be black, dark or light brown, chestnut, chocolate, rust, or a mixture of browns; occasionally blond. Dan'Yervens are prone to issues with mostly their joints, hips and back.
Zhirine:
Zhirine females have seemingly very delicate, small frames and tend not to gain muscle easily compared to the other ethnic groups. Zhirine males tend to gain muscles quickly in the arms first, then the core and sides. However, their legs tend stay somewhat slim. The females, in the face, tend to look like dolls. Both Zhirine males and females tend have to square-like head and fullish cheeks with round, small eyes and small ears. Also. they look very adult-like during their young years. Meaning, Zhirine people tend to age a tad quicker. They usually have pale, sometimes freckled skin. Common eye colors among the Zhirine are: variations of Blue, Green, Hazel and Gray. The common hair colors among Zhirines are: Red, Light Chestnut and Blond. They are prone to skin burn and rarely tan. Since Zhirine bodies are considered elegant by most designers, they are commonly seen as models. They're prone to issues with pregnancy and joints.
Rahin’Saoians:
The Rahin’Saoians females, like Zhirine females, have seemingly very delicate frames. They are, however, more flexible. Rahin’Saoian females tend to build strength quicker in the arms and legs. Rahin’Saoian males tend to become more hefty than males in other other ethnic groups. They are not as flexible as their female counterparts but, they are strong and dexterous. Both male and female Rahin’Saoians are prone to issues involving the spine, lower back and knees. Rahin’Saoians tend to have light eyes that are: Gary, Light Blue, Light Green, and Gold. They have rather small and straight noses, noticeable round cheekbones and light, even pale skin which sunburns easily and rarely tans.
Bliatisians:
Bliatisians, In general, have warm colored skin which tans and rarely burns, deep rich brown to black hair and rich brown eyes. Their eyes are generally large and almond-shaped with thick dark lashes. They are framed by arched eyebrows. Their mouths are generally not small or pinched, but wider with full lips. The face shapes range from round and full-cheeked to thin and aristocratic. They are not known for being very tall. However, Bliatisian males tend to build upper strength quicker and are also very dexterous. Bliatisian females are known to have booming voices and almost vase like bodies. Their hips tend to become big after childbirth or from poor dieting. They're prone to issues with the intestines and hips.
Le’Lochelyains:
Le’Lochelyains have two common facial structures. Northern Le’Lochelyains people tend to have a longer, oval facial structure with wider and larger eyes, and more pronounced noses. Southern Le’Lochelyains people tend to have flatter faces with higher and squarer cheek bones, and smaller eyes with single eyelids (opposed to double). Northern Le’Lochelyains tend to have pale, mocha skin. Southern Le’Lochelyains tend to have tanner, mocha skin. In general, Le’Lochelyains tend to grow extremely long, straight hair which is usually very dark in color. Le’Lochelyains' hair tend to always be black. It's rare to see a Le’Lochelyain with natural light brown, blond or red hair. The females are usually known for their stringy, hypnotizing singing voices. The males are known for being very creative craftsmen. Le’Lochelyain males tend to be lean and not likely to gain muscle very easily. Le’Lochelyains females tend to gain little to none muscle strength. They're prone to issues with the eyes and knees.
Rarperians:
Rarperians are people of mixed ethnicity. Facial and bone structure varies. Rarperians tend to have little to no health issues. The word “Rarperian” is just a quicker way of stating that the ethnicity of this particular individual is mixed. The word is not internationally recognized. Meaning, in some places you would mark and/or write Raperian on forms. While, in other places, you would have to write and/or mark your ethnicities.
The Places of Lorilqua_______________
Naldraenth:
Counterparts Canada, North America, England and Japan. Naldraenth is the vast kingdom in which your character will most likely live and/or work. This Kingdom covers miles worth of land - nearly surrounded by forest, high & low mountains, and grassy hills. An opening northwest of Kingdom Naldraenth leads towards an flat, slightly sandy and grassy terrain which is near Reus Ocean. Following up Reus coast leads you to Fuiihour steam which is linked to Paradise River; a grand waterfall homing masses of Flying Fish and the famous Golden Scale fish. There are many fishermen in Naldraenth. The fishermen also catch an abundance of: Yellowtails, Amberjacks, Striped Jacks, Puffers, Red, Black and Sliver Beams, Scorpionfish, Bastard Hulibuts, Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Steelheads, Sharks, Squids and Carp. Also Naldraenth farmers primarily grow: Grains, Beans, Potatoes, Beats, Corn, Carrots, Plums, Cotton, Indigo, Blueberries, Strawberries, Pawpaws, Sweet Potatoes, Eggplant, Asparagus, Cucumbers, Onions, Paprika, Green Pepper, Spinach, Lettuces, Garlic, Mushrooms, White Radishes, Apples, Pears, Melons, Grapefruit, Lemons and Grapes. They also gather silk, wool and milk. Naldraenth also provide and trade essential, yet common meats such as: Pork, Chicken and Beef. Naldraenth is also known for their advances in technologies and is home to few popular steam factories.
Oi’Aperild:
Also known as the Land of Sand, counterparts the Sahara. Being the largest and hottest desert located within the central plains of Lorilqua. There are four major settlements within Oi’Aperild: Sienna, Ja’Corii, Geiuga and Thorne. All thse settlements are harvesters of exotic, rare desert spices, herbs, other valuable vegetation, and meats. Careful, there is vast, hidden and dangerous wildlife in Oi‘Aperild. Oi'Aperild is full of quick-footed, witty hunters; becoming the third most popular hunting grounds in Lorilqua. Oi’Aperild is also known for the fur and leather trade.
Rakranor:
Counterparts the Amazon (Amazonia) Rainforest. Like any rainforest, Rakranor, contains several species that can pose a hazard. Among the largest predatory creatures are the Black Caiman, Jaguar and Anaconda. In the rivers, electric eels can produce an electric shock that can stun or kill, while Piranha are known to bite and injure humans. Various species of poisonous dart frogs secrete toxins through their flesh. There are also numerous parasites and disease vectors. Vampire bats dwell in the rainforest and can spread the rabies virus. Malaria, Yellow Fever and Dengue Fever can also be contracted in the Rakranor region. Regardless of it’s imposing dangers, this is Lorilpua’s number one place for catching exotic marine life, harvesting vegetation/fruits, and hunting; along with other things not listed. Although the Rakranor Rainforest makes up thirty percent of Lorilqua; it doesn’t have many settlements - only two, known as Heigick’Orc and Meliek’Arc, are the only groups of humans willing to live there and survive.
Neigiquial:
Counterparts Alaska, which is an mixture of icy high & low mountains, mostly snow-sheeted plains, rather large pine forest, small lakes, streams, and medium-sized rivers. Due to its cold climate and steep terrain, relatively little farming occurs in Neigiquial. Most farms are in either the Montilas Valley. The short growing season limits the crops that can be grown, but the long sunny summer days make for productive growing seasons. The primary crops are red & green potatoes, carrots, lettuce, and cabbage. Neigiquial has an abundance of seafood, with the primary fisheries in the Lilac Sea and the Zioruin Pacific, and seafood is one of the few food items that is often cheaper within Neigiquial than outside it. Many people in Neigiquial fish the rivers during salmon season to gather significant quantities for their household diet while fishing for subsistence, sport, or both. Hunters primarily target caribou, moose, and dally sheep. Though, people of Neigiquial are known for their usual ice creams, which can consist of reindeer fat, seal oil, dried fish meat and local berries.
Vorskelon:
This place counterparts the Grand Canyons. Sharing the same attributes. Vorskelon is a steep-sided gorge carved by the great Dice millions and millions of years ago. Currently, it’s used for mining purposes. Thus, explaining the massive numbers of man made caves. Commonly found items are: Copper Ore, Dark Iron Ore, Gold Ore, Iron Ore, Silver Ore, Thorium Ore and Tin Ore. Rarely found items are certain gems and diamonds. This place has the highest number of Ja’qions living in the canyons. People living in Vorskelon face the risk of being killed and/or robbed by bandits, earthquakes, and - rarely - the wildlife.
Isaliaqin:
Is another Kingdom similar to Naldraenth. It has many names but is mostly known as Paradise City. It Counterparts Jamaica, some South America and Los Vegas. Isaliaqin is a parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy with the monarch being represented by a Governor-General. The head of state is Queen Khorana, who officially uses the title "Queen of Isaliaqin" when she visits Naldraenth to performs government and business related duties on Isaliaqin's behalf. The climate in Isaliaqin is tropical, with hot and humid weather, although higher inland regions are more temperate. It's full of beautiful beaches and greenery. Not only that, Isaliaqin grows Lorilqua's most tastful and exotic fruits such as: Bananas, Oranges, Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Mango, Prickly Pear, Plantains, Guava, Mamey Sapote, Tamarind, Chayote Squash, Boniato, Jicama, Papaya, Nopal, Tomatillo, Cherimoya, Pineapple, Kiwi and Yuca Root. However, the technologies in Isaliaqin is not as advance as the technologies in Naldraenth. The kingdom is prone to sever hurricanes during the spring. But, has the right atmosphere, like Naldraenth, for farming.

The Kingdom Naldraenth___________________________
Under the corrupted leadership of King Luther the Fourth and Queen Julia Theodore, the mad couple destroyed many of the neighboring kingdoms and villages. As their land expanded, so did their power and influence over their people. After a few months had gone to pass, Luther suddenly became ill. The king blamed his own servant, a Ja’qion, because the servant was the only person closest to the king. The Ja’qion servant was gruesomely beheaded. The King's sickness and his fury was directed towards anyone relating to or affiliated with the Ja’qions worsened. His unfair treatment of these people started small. The king excluded the Ja’qions from certain areas of his kingdom, raised their taxes, and exiled many he to be or thought to be of Ja'qion heritage; forcing them to stay within reservations located in Narratia.
Sadly, his torture of the Ja’qion worsened when his Queen died from an serve stroke. After she was laid to rest, King Luther almost immediately had every home, belonging to the Ja’qions, invaded by his powerful and seemingly unstoppable army. Some were arrested and executed on sight. While most of the captured Ja’qion were kept alive and shipped into other kingdoms as slaves. This terrible abuse of the Ja’qions continued for many centuries. However, during Lorilqua’s Age of Enlightenment, there was an uproar between all race. Many began to realize that all humans are equal and, therefore, deserving of equal liberties and treatment before the law. Thus, they could no longer allow the unfair and abusive treatment of the Ja’qion to continue. The Ja’qions' numbers were rapidly diminishing.
There were many great wars; many battles lost and won. Yet, in the end, after many years of fighting - common people against the mighty king - the ancestor of Luther, Frederick, was overthrown. Frederick and his family was mercifully spared and exiled from Lorilqua. Slavery of any race was abolished by law. The remaining Ja’qions were given new homes, currency, and many other essentials needed to start anew. It was in the hopes of many people that they could restore their heritage in the best way possible.
About King Luther Theodore the Fourth_______________
He was an very insane man. Overly paranoid and believing that people were planning to destroy him and his family. The man would be seen talking, yelling, at no one - he was always alone. Always saying that spirits were talking to him - that his destiny was to replace the gods. Insanity drove him to murder and, eventually, to his grave. One day, believing that he could fly, Luther leaped from the bell tower and plumage downwards; instantaneously dying. His ancestors continued Luther’s plans of an Ja’qion-free world for many years until Frederick was overthrown and family exiled.
About Queen Julia Theodore_________________________
She hated everyone, even her husband. She married him for his riches and power; truly the brains behind everything he wanted done. The queen knew what she was doing to the Ja’qion was wrong, however - just as sick as her husband - she found it entertaining. However, karma later destroyed this selfish, evil queen. Julia was an obese glutton; always stuffing her face with food. One night, after eating an whole, greasy chicken with breaded stuffing, she felt pains in her chest and collapsed from her seat. And believe this, burying this women took nearly twenty men.
The Story Thus Far__________________________________
The Kingdom Naldraenth has a new, fair King and Queen, Leister and Jade Otanah. Naldraenth, currently on its second Golden Age, established a system of checks and balances. Thus, something like the Ja'qions' near genocide crisis would never occur again. Better laws were passed and technologies became more advanced. Welcome, stranger, to Naldraenth.
The rules of Lorilqua_______________
1. This is a community/family RP where romance is sure to be involved.
2. No god-moding.
3. Three characters per person.
4. Please, try and have your character interact with more than one other person. If your character has been interacting with just one character for a long, long, long time, then I'll ask the two of you to leave and you can do a one on one.
5. The minimum posting requirement is five full sentences [one paragraph]. She looked up. "That's neat." She said. She then walked away. Still smiling, Does NOT count.
6. You may put a picture or banner of your character (anime only) in your posts. Use spell check and look over your post before submitting it. Some typos are fine, but when people can't understand what you are saying, then we've got a problem. No "text speak" either! Example: "Plz dnt tlk lyk dis." Use quotation marks if your character is talking and do NOT use (*) for actions.
7. When submitting your profile, just post it here and wait for me to accept.
8. If you want to be the owner of a store, you have to provide a name and do try to be age sensitive job wise. No doctor of any kind should be 19 and if your character looks like (s)he's 7-12, don't say that they are 22. It's ridiculous!
9. To keep the role play moving, I will occasionally submit a time progression post. Morning to afternoon, afternoon to evening, evening to night (Nights will be relatively short). This is NOT a time skip, but do make sure your character responds appropriately. When I do make a time skip, you are expected to make sure your next post responds to it accordingly.
10. Also, put down all important information in your profile. Don't leave out important info for the sake of "suspense", either. If you find out something new about your own character, add it to your profile - but don't completely reconstruct your character.
11. Keep out of character chat to a minimum in the IC thread. There's an OOC thread for a reason.
12. Please use a little of your creative juices and make your characters somewhat interesting. Having too many characters with the same personalities can get boring quickly.
13. When you make a post, find other people! Don't be a wall flower all the time crying for attention. If it's part of your character, I get it, but if you do it too much I'll ask you to stop nicely.
14. If you are going to quit please let me so I can remove your characters off of the job and calender posts. Your profile will remain listed in case you decide to come back.
15. Please post at least twice a week to keep things going. If you do not - on top of not letting myself know that you are on vacation or something - then your inactive character(s) will be removed.
16. Pregnancy: Alright, if your character(s) is pregnant, then she must wait two full seasons before giving birth. If the character is unsure about their pregnancy, then flip a coin. Head = Yes. Tails = No. If your character is pregnant, however doesn't want the child, she has two options:
>> Get an abortion.
>> Have and surrender the baby to the church or orphanage.
17. This RP is very freelance. Almost anything goes. However, zombies, werewolves, vampires, angels, demons and etc, are not allowed. Anything that isn't fully human, is not allowed. Period. However, anything else supernatural like spirits and ghost are allowed.

Year and Era: It's 1865 in Lorilqua, Steampunk, Victorian Era.
In general, the category includes any recent science fiction that takes place in a recognizable historical period, an alternate history version of an actual historical period, where the Industrial Revolution has already begun and electricity is not (completely) widespread, with an emphasis on steam or spring propelled gadgets.
Various modern utilitarian objects have been molded by enthusiasts into a Pseudo-Victorian mechanical "steampunk" style. For example: these objects include computer keyboards and electric guitars. The goal of such redesigns is to employ appropriate materials (such as polished brass, iron, and wood) with design elements and craftsmanship consistent with the Victorian Era.

The town is famous for their special new-year cakes that are given traditionally among townspeople to wish good luck in the coming year.

Kids favorite time of the year, a celebration that gets them out of school to enjoy the sweet breeze of the new spring. People celebrate with mid-day celebrations.
14 ▶ ▷ Flower Festival & Valentines Day -
This holiday is spent with the ones you love! Many choose this day to give sweets to those they want to get closer too. Even if you don't have a relationship to pursue, you can enjoy looking at the lovely viewing flowers that are in full-bloom for this celebration. Celebrations is mid-day for flower viewing and at night you can enjoy beautiful multi-colored 'fire-flower' fireworks!

18 ▶ ▷ Firefly festival -
A solemn occasion on which the town remembers the souls that have passed on before us by sailing colored candles down the river. It's a perfect time to appreciate life as you watch the flames float like a mass of fireflies on the water's surface. It is often said that lost souls drawn to the candles will be shepherded safely to the afterlife, soothed by the soft glow of light.

This festival is often talked about with fondness by the village's older population. This is a time to enjoy the end of the summer heat and welcome in the balmy fall. It is often said that great luck comes to couples who kiss underneath the colorful heat of the fireworks!

This autumn festival is set aside to enjoy the beautiful shade of changing leaves. Celebrations are held in the daylight hours were the town's citizens can enjoy stalls and boat races in the river.

A day to rejoice in the lovely falling leaves of fall! This day is often spent with family, trips are made constantly to the yard by children eager to jump into a pile of waiting leaves. Celebrated all day with a large feast.

A favorite with small and old alike, the pumpkin festival is a time to dress up in colorful costumes to make the visiting ghouls feel more at home. Pumpkin flavored candy is a particular favorite of all the town's children.

A serious time where villagers gather around a communal bonfire to burn dolls of straw and cornhusk in thanks of the previous summer's good fortune as well as in prayer for the luck's continued presence over the harsh barren winter.

The People of Lorilqua_______________
Ja’qion:
The Ja’qion are rather small of stature, but muscular and agile. Both sexes have reddish-brown skin, high cheek-bones, straight broad noses, slanting eyes, and large mouths with a gentle expression. Their hair is usually straight and black, but in some individuals it is brownish and in others it is wavy. The females tend to corpulent and age rapidly; they are prolific, but the infant mortality is very great. They tend to have brown, hazel and green eyes. Their reddish-brown skin is rarely sunburned and is sometimes prone to tanning. Like Dan’Yervens, the Ja’qion males build muscle and strength rather quickly. They're prone to having issues with their hands and throat.
Chryntine:
The Chryntines, north of Lorilqua, are taller and bigger compared to the Chryntine of the south. They have small, slit-like, and/or slant eyes with single eyelids (i.e. an epicanthal fold). They also have longer, rugged faces (possibly with considerably more facial hair than Southern Chryntines). They tend to eat wheat-based food rather than rice-based food. Southern Chryntines are shorter and smaller compared to Northern Chryntines. They tend to have smooth, rounder faces, almond shaped eyes with double eyelids and eat rice-based food rather than wheat-based. However, generally speaking, Chryntines usually have long, straight brown to black hair. They are known for their lean, slim bodies. They are prone to issues with the neck and back. Also, they tend have fair white skin that's usually prone to sunburn and rarely tans.
Dan’Yerven:
Genetically, Dan’Yerven males and females tend to build muscles much faster compared to most ethnic groups. They also tend to become much fuller in body type, taller in height and weight than other ethnic groups. However, this depends on the individual. Dan'Yerven females, depending on their diet, tend to gain weight quicker around the gluteus maximus, thighs and stomach. Dan'Yerven males, depending on their diet, tend to gain weight mostly around the stomach. Most Dan'Yervens tend to have broader and fuller facial features. Their eyes are usually almond shaped. The most common eye colors among Dan'Yerven people are: Amber, Dark Brown, Light Brown, Chestnut, Hazel and Chocolate. Dan'Yervens have rich light to dark brown skin; which usually never burns or tans. Their hair color tends to be black, dark or light brown, chestnut, chocolate, rust, or a mixture of browns; occasionally blond. Dan'Yervens are prone to issues with mostly their joints, hips and back.
Zhirine:
Zhirine females have seemingly very delicate, small frames and tend not to gain muscle easily compared to the other ethnic groups. Zhirine males tend to gain muscles quickly in the arms first, then the core and sides. However, their legs tend stay somewhat slim. The females, in the face, tend to look like dolls. Both Zhirine males and females tend have to square-like head and fullish cheeks with round, small eyes and small ears. Also. they look very adult-like during their young years. Meaning, Zhirine people tend to age a tad quicker. They usually have pale, sometimes freckled skin. Common eye colors among the Zhirine are: variations of Blue, Green, Hazel and Gray. The common hair colors among Zhirines are: Red, Light Chestnut and Blond. They are prone to skin burn and rarely tan. Since Zhirine bodies are considered elegant by most designers, they are commonly seen as models. They're prone to issues with pregnancy and joints.
Rahin’Saoians:
The Rahin’Saoians females, like Zhirine females, have seemingly very delicate frames. They are, however, more flexible. Rahin’Saoian females tend to build strength quicker in the arms and legs. Rahin’Saoian males tend to become more hefty than males in other other ethnic groups. They are not as flexible as their female counterparts but, they are strong and dexterous. Both male and female Rahin’Saoians are prone to issues involving the spine, lower back and knees. Rahin’Saoians tend to have light eyes that are: Gary, Light Blue, Light Green, and Gold. They have rather small and straight noses, noticeable round cheekbones and light, even pale skin which sunburns easily and rarely tans.
Bliatisians:
Bliatisians, In general, have warm colored skin which tans and rarely burns, deep rich brown to black hair and rich brown eyes. Their eyes are generally large and almond-shaped with thick dark lashes. They are framed by arched eyebrows. Their mouths are generally not small or pinched, but wider with full lips. The face shapes range from round and full-cheeked to thin and aristocratic. They are not known for being very tall. However, Bliatisian males tend to build upper strength quicker and are also very dexterous. Bliatisian females are known to have booming voices and almost vase like bodies. Their hips tend to become big after childbirth or from poor dieting. They're prone to issues with the intestines and hips.
Le’Lochelyains:
Le’Lochelyains have two common facial structures. Northern Le’Lochelyains people tend to have a longer, oval facial structure with wider and larger eyes, and more pronounced noses. Southern Le’Lochelyains people tend to have flatter faces with higher and squarer cheek bones, and smaller eyes with single eyelids (opposed to double). Northern Le’Lochelyains tend to have pale, mocha skin. Southern Le’Lochelyains tend to have tanner, mocha skin. In general, Le’Lochelyains tend to grow extremely long, straight hair which is usually very dark in color. Le’Lochelyains' hair tend to always be black. It's rare to see a Le’Lochelyain with natural light brown, blond or red hair. The females are usually known for their stringy, hypnotizing singing voices. The males are known for being very creative craftsmen. Le’Lochelyain males tend to be lean and not likely to gain muscle very easily. Le’Lochelyains females tend to gain little to none muscle strength. They're prone to issues with the eyes and knees.
Rarperians:
Rarperians are people of mixed ethnicity. Facial and bone structure varies. Rarperians tend to have little to no health issues. The word “Rarperian” is just a quicker way of stating that the ethnicity of this particular individual is mixed. The word is not internationally recognized. Meaning, in some places you would mark and/or write Raperian on forms. While, in other places, you would have to write and/or mark your ethnicities.
The Places of Lorilqua_______________
Naldraenth:
Counterparts Canada, North America, England and Japan. Naldraenth is the vast kingdom in which your character will most likely live and/or work. This Kingdom covers miles worth of land - nearly surrounded by forest, high & low mountains, and grassy hills. An opening northwest of Kingdom Naldraenth leads towards an flat, slightly sandy and grassy terrain which is near Reus Ocean. Following up Reus coast leads you to Fuiihour steam which is linked to Paradise River; a grand waterfall homing masses of Flying Fish and the famous Golden Scale fish. There are many fishermen in Naldraenth. The fishermen also catch an abundance of: Yellowtails, Amberjacks, Striped Jacks, Puffers, Red, Black and Sliver Beams, Scorpionfish, Bastard Hulibuts, Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Steelheads, Sharks, Squids and Carp. Also Naldraenth farmers primarily grow: Grains, Beans, Potatoes, Beats, Corn, Carrots, Plums, Cotton, Indigo, Blueberries, Strawberries, Pawpaws, Sweet Potatoes, Eggplant, Asparagus, Cucumbers, Onions, Paprika, Green Pepper, Spinach, Lettuces, Garlic, Mushrooms, White Radishes, Apples, Pears, Melons, Grapefruit, Lemons and Grapes. They also gather silk, wool and milk. Naldraenth also provide and trade essential, yet common meats such as: Pork, Chicken and Beef. Naldraenth is also known for their advances in technologies and is home to few popular steam factories.
Oi’Aperild:
Also known as the Land of Sand, counterparts the Sahara. Being the largest and hottest desert located within the central plains of Lorilqua. There are four major settlements within Oi’Aperild: Sienna, Ja’Corii, Geiuga and Thorne. All thse settlements are harvesters of exotic, rare desert spices, herbs, other valuable vegetation, and meats. Careful, there is vast, hidden and dangerous wildlife in Oi‘Aperild. Oi'Aperild is full of quick-footed, witty hunters; becoming the third most popular hunting grounds in Lorilqua. Oi’Aperild is also known for the fur and leather trade.
Rakranor:
Counterparts the Amazon (Amazonia) Rainforest. Like any rainforest, Rakranor, contains several species that can pose a hazard. Among the largest predatory creatures are the Black Caiman, Jaguar and Anaconda. In the rivers, electric eels can produce an electric shock that can stun or kill, while Piranha are known to bite and injure humans. Various species of poisonous dart frogs secrete toxins through their flesh. There are also numerous parasites and disease vectors. Vampire bats dwell in the rainforest and can spread the rabies virus. Malaria, Yellow Fever and Dengue Fever can also be contracted in the Rakranor region. Regardless of it’s imposing dangers, this is Lorilpua’s number one place for catching exotic marine life, harvesting vegetation/fruits, and hunting; along with other things not listed. Although the Rakranor Rainforest makes up thirty percent of Lorilqua; it doesn’t have many settlements - only two, known as Heigick’Orc and Meliek’Arc, are the only groups of humans willing to live there and survive.
Neigiquial:
Counterparts Alaska, which is an mixture of icy high & low mountains, mostly snow-sheeted plains, rather large pine forest, small lakes, streams, and medium-sized rivers. Due to its cold climate and steep terrain, relatively little farming occurs in Neigiquial. Most farms are in either the Montilas Valley. The short growing season limits the crops that can be grown, but the long sunny summer days make for productive growing seasons. The primary crops are red & green potatoes, carrots, lettuce, and cabbage. Neigiquial has an abundance of seafood, with the primary fisheries in the Lilac Sea and the Zioruin Pacific, and seafood is one of the few food items that is often cheaper within Neigiquial than outside it. Many people in Neigiquial fish the rivers during salmon season to gather significant quantities for their household diet while fishing for subsistence, sport, or both. Hunters primarily target caribou, moose, and dally sheep. Though, people of Neigiquial are known for their usual ice creams, which can consist of reindeer fat, seal oil, dried fish meat and local berries.
Vorskelon:
This place counterparts the Grand Canyons. Sharing the same attributes. Vorskelon is a steep-sided gorge carved by the great Dice millions and millions of years ago. Currently, it’s used for mining purposes. Thus, explaining the massive numbers of man made caves. Commonly found items are: Copper Ore, Dark Iron Ore, Gold Ore, Iron Ore, Silver Ore, Thorium Ore and Tin Ore. Rarely found items are certain gems and diamonds. This place has the highest number of Ja’qions living in the canyons. People living in Vorskelon face the risk of being killed and/or robbed by bandits, earthquakes, and - rarely - the wildlife.
Isaliaqin:
Is another Kingdom similar to Naldraenth. It has many names but is mostly known as Paradise City. It Counterparts Jamaica, some South America and Los Vegas. Isaliaqin is a parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy with the monarch being represented by a Governor-General. The head of state is Queen Khorana, who officially uses the title "Queen of Isaliaqin" when she visits Naldraenth to performs government and business related duties on Isaliaqin's behalf. The climate in Isaliaqin is tropical, with hot and humid weather, although higher inland regions are more temperate. It's full of beautiful beaches and greenery. Not only that, Isaliaqin grows Lorilqua's most tastful and exotic fruits such as: Bananas, Oranges, Dragon Fruit, Passion Fruit, Mango, Prickly Pear, Plantains, Guava, Mamey Sapote, Tamarind, Chayote Squash, Boniato, Jicama, Papaya, Nopal, Tomatillo, Cherimoya, Pineapple, Kiwi and Yuca Root. However, the technologies in Isaliaqin is not as advance as the technologies in Naldraenth. The kingdom is prone to sever hurricanes during the spring. But, has the right atmosphere, like Naldraenth, for farming.
