(Mind this is for a test and just for the mere heck of it.)

It was bright day out, cloudless and sunny, But down in the misty forest it might as well be twilight. The mist swirled lazily around shadows that on closer inspection reveled to be trees. some in pristine condition others gnarled twisted things, With thick Foliage that protected the thick mist from the sun and blocked out most of the light casting the place into deep, damp silence.

Shani peered around her, confused. She had been sure she had been else where more recently. Peering around she was also sure that she had not been alone. What was this? and where was she? Checking herself over she had all of her items, nothing was missing or changed, she felt fine.

With no answers to the questions of why she was here or where she was she peered back into the mist. It was thick limiting her vision so she took it slowly as she started to observe her surroundings.

Sogarr knew not how he got into this dark wood, but one thought was at the forefront of his mind. Hunt. He knows not why or what he is to hunt, but that instinct is at the forefront of his mind. Putting his shield on his back, he draws out two javelins, and creeps through the foggy wood silently as a lion stalking his prey.

Suddenly, a breeze carries a peculiar scent to his nose. It is of a young, human female, but there is more to it that than just her musk. The scent of incense, and the fruity bouquet of consecrated oils. These scents seem unfriendly to Sogarr. Something in his brain is telling him that he must destroy the cause of this scent.

He continues his course, following that scent. Finally, he notices Shani through the gloom and the foliage. She cannot see him yet. He tenses his muscles and draws back his main arm. he takes careful aim...and throws the Javelin right at her back, where it would hit her spine. If she managed to block or dodge it, he would throw his second one to where she dodged, or a place where she wasn't guarding.

Shani had moved to observe something but felt something heavy skim her back armor with a shudder and the high pitch scratch of mettle against rough metal or rock, which one she was not sure. She turned hearing the heavy object, a Javelin? bury itself in the ground just next to her. That was close so very close. she turned from the direction the weapon had come from only to see the second flying out of the mist at her. Pulling her staff up she turned her body to the side only just enough for it to brush roughly against her armor making her take a side step and wince at the noise.

"Light..." she breathed eyes wide with how close she had just come to dieing twice. She didn't want to make it a third. She couldn't see her assailant but she knew the basic direction now. She leaped foreword into the mist spinning her staff to ward off any close range attacks as she sought out the attacker with both her eyes and her weapon.

As Shani deflected (barely) his javelins, Sogarr Hooked on his shield and drew his Iklwa. As the then leaped forward, Sogarr Roared his mighty and terrifying roar and raised his shield to Deflect her staff, then swung his arm to send it out wide. He then, himself, leaped forward, brandishing his Iklwa and thrusts it toward her abdomen, Baring his teeth and contorting his face into a frightening visage so as to scare and perhaps distract her. "DIE!", he roars as his spear surges for her body.

Shani felt her staff hit before she saw, the resounding sound of the mettle against shield Told her to be wry but her staff was flung wide. With a roar the other being leaped out at her brandishing a spear headed strait for her gut, by the looks she would be lucky if it only poked at her armor. Using some of the force of the man's push to her staff and some of her own force she fell back the spear right above her so close she almost had to cross her eyes to see it. the face to had her attention but the force of her fall let her roll back scrambling.

I though I didn't want to make it a third... she thought paling slightly. the man as he was, though wild looking was much stronger then she was, larger studier... She took in a huge breath backing up out of range. "Oh light...." she muttered. She spun her staff slowly taking a defensive position. Gazing at the man he reminded her more of a very... very wild lion. Not that she had ever really seen on up close but she knew one thing. "Leongarde..."
