Hmmm. For the magic... Maybe it could be something like taboo, or considered improper by some people- so as certain people would judge those that use it.... Otherwise, I don't really have anything I can think of currently. Do you want me to fill out a character chart/form (<don't know what people call them on this site....). I have one saved to my computer.

Oh and about characters, do you want me to have more of a strong-female character or not?

So there'd be a faction of human society who think that magic is against god maybe? That's why people would be angry at magic users?

I call them character sheets, and yeah, I'll post mine up, I think it'll be two or three characters. :)

Ok. First question. Is there anyway that I can set this so that it will send me a message when you respond to this? On my old rp site if someone responded to you it'd send you a letter saying someon replied/ added another comment to the roleplay. If you wanted it to stop sending you letters you could select for it not to.

I'll probably start out with one, but don't worry, I'll be adding more characters to my empire haha. I generally add them as I go- Oh, I forgot. I roleplay in first person. Will that bother you? I've noticed a lot of people roleplay in third person.

If you go into Subscriptions there it will list every thread you're subscribed to. (Generally if you post in a thread it will automatically subscribe... I think. Or you can add it to you're subscriptions by going to the thread and going to Thread tools)

I do RPs in third person, but you are free to go in first person if you don't mind me sticking to third person.
I can try to do First person though if you like?

You can do third person, it's fine. I just first rped with a person that did first person, so I started that way to. I feel I can express the character better. My old site was pretty must half first person and half third person. So I'm used to both (I just feel I rp in first person way better so....).

I feel more comfortable with Third person because I tend to use several characters and it's easier that way.
I've also had problems detaching myself from my character's emotions and Third person helps that.
But to each their own. Whatever feels most comfortable :)

I'm not sure. PG-13 or M maybe? I don't get the firm boundary between the two to be honest and I wouldn't want to be banned.

My old website made a rule against romance completely and you were likely to get banned.... I always just pmed the rp with my friends because the romance ban thing was EXTREME like no holding hands or no one could even have a crush, anything. I broke it so many times, but finally decided that I should change websites since it was against rules (even as a private mail... and I never was caught). I just don't want to get banned from this website, because it seems that I can actually be more free on this website.

What ages do you want the characters to be?

Well in PG-13 I call that devoid of most fun things like Swearing, Extreme bloody violence, drug use, alcohol use, and stuff like that.

They are a bit more relaxed here, I've flitted on the boundaries of... intimate sexual stuff, but we put down a fade to black scene kinda thing.
I think they don't mind here as long as it's rated, and not, (for lack of a better word) pornographic lol.
I never got hassled by the mods for anything like that, but I've been hassled by the mods for not putting ratings on threads.
M would be good to cover most bases.

He lives in a mansion in the wealthy area of LA.


Biography:
He grew up with wealthy parents in the public eye; his mother was a politician, and his father is the mayor. His mother passed away through unknown causes. Sebastian was then placed into university programs and he excelled at Magick studies. He had talents for many aspects of Magick, his favourite was summoning knives and manipulating shadows.


Strengths:
Up close fighting, police on his side, summoning knives, hiding.


Weaknesses:
Using guns, Not good at regeneration Magick, not agile or quick.










Name: Elair Gray
Age: 25
Gender: Male


Appearance:

Dark, Twisted, intelligent but not book-smart. Cheerful, even in a miserable atmosphere, vicious temper, doesn't like when things don't go his way. Likes to be in charge, doesn't like playing by anyone else's rules.


Relationships:
Had a few flings, nothing serious.


Hobbies/Interests:
Elair gambles, but when he is alone he practices Tai Chi to control his anger.


Quirks/habits:
Smoker, sometimes takes gambles which may be life threatening.


Living arrangements:
A small one bedroom apartment room in the middle of the poor section of what became LA after it split into richer and poorer sections due to the foundation of Magick Universities.


Biography:
He grew up with loving parents, an older sister and a younger brother.
When he went to a public school, he wasn't bullied, he wasn't the most popular, but he did have friends that were loyal to him. When he was 16 his life then turned into a nightmare.
He was framed for the murders of his brother and parents. Upon questioning his sister didn't seem to exist.
Left all alone in a prison cell, he got through three years of it before he escaped.
He seemed to own no talents for anything apart from getting into trouble.
He eventually got a job performing small hits on people. It was good money and nobody really seemed to care especially if it was one of the poorer of society. He kept living on a low radar saving up enough money to buy his own island in the pacific and living out the rest of his life in comfort.


Complications:
Police are searching for him as a wanted criminal escaped from prison. His face is mostly over the news.


Strengths:
Up close fighting and long range sniper shots.


Weaknesses:
Pistols, his past, his anger.


Other facts:
Has an locked potential for Magick maybe. (if he does end up having abilities it will be either tied into his anger like he gains extra strength or resistance or something like that. Or something to do with his sight like see things that others can’t.)

Biography:
Kyo grew up in a wealthy household. His mother was a lawyer, and his father was a surgeon.
Kyo spent roughly five years with his parents when he was at the age of ten. His father worked all hours of the clock, and his mother was exactly the same. He was raised by a Nanny, well she was more of a teacher than anything else. His parents searched for her and paid her high, mainly because his father had realised his son possessed a mind that learned fast. On his tenth birthday his parents sent him off to one of the most expensive, and also, best Magick Academies. It not only taught him the basics and advance levels of education, and also unlocks the Magick hiding deep within, if it was even there.
Kyo however had very little locked Magick inside him, no hidden talent for a specific section of Magick. This stemmed from the fact that his mind was too busy absorbing everything before him and learning. Even though he possessed little locked Magick, he did have some unique abilities. Kyo had a talent for Magick that stems from writing symbols and activating them [Also known as Tagging]. This and his ability to learn was honed into the job of Magical Detective. He was brought into crime scenes where there was an accusation of Magick at work. It was more heard of than anyone would think, and after a couple of years he earned a seventy five percent success rate.

Living Arrangements:
Kyo lives in a private dorm of the Magic University, but he is often not there due to work engagements.

Strengths:
Quick Learner, Intelligence and logic make him a good problem solver, Tagging (but that can be a weakness given that he doesn't use much Magick without Tags)


Weaknesses:
Alcohol, Cannot use weapons or fight, Insomnia, would do anything to survive.

I'm back. :) Here is my first character.
And hrrmmm. I'm going to try doing that show/hide thing, but if I fail, you'll have to tell me. haha.



Name: Chantal Kandinkski
Hair: Soft black and thick. Ends at her waist. Straight and silky.
Eyes: A Carmalish brown, slightly big with a harsh and upfront look to them
Build: Thin, kind of like a board. Looks weak, but is actually strong.
Appearance: Has a scariness to her and a darkness that is shown in her aura. She has high cheekbones which she was made fun of in elementary school with the name “fox face.” Her smile which is actually sweet is generally acknowledged as creepy or devilish. She doesn’t find herself attractive (<which is a bit like a lot of women these days. :( . When she zones out or glances around blindly, People think she’s “staring into [their] souls”. She’s ¼ Russian, hence the last name.
Skin: Pale and adds an eeriness due to the contrast against her dark features.
Age: 26
Height: 5’8”

Magic: Can force people to forget what they’re thinking about during the moment. (I don’t think this has a name because I just made it up.) She doesn’t know how to do anything else really with no basics or knowledge of other magic otherwise. She has a strong desire to learn though.

Interests: Magic, painting, and playing darts
Personality: Sweet yet a smart elic. She would get along great with people- if she actually wanted to. She is quite the strong and independent type of woman and doesn’t think she’ll ever find someone though she doesn’t want to in the first place. She has a dark quietness that lurks over her, but that is her cover, and she’s really a bubbly friendly girl that hides her true self.
History: When she first learned of magic she developed an extreme interest. She lived in a place where a large majority of people looked at magic as “devil worshipping” or something of the sort. Her parents where strongly against the idea of magic; they were strongly against many things. She felt that she couldn’t allow them to know her true self, so she hid it, but she rebelled in her own way by dressing against their desires with a sort of goth or emo style. Her parents were displeased and went as extreme as moving across the country to here (wherever the here is. Haha). She’s still here now.
She moved out at 17 due to her parents’ strong disapproval of them finding out about her interest in magic ,and she still lives in the same tiny apartment in the poor section.

Relationships: None- unless you count the couple of one-nighters she had when she was a prostitute for less than a week.
Work: She works at an underground bar with illegal gambling and drugs. Games of darts and pool games cause a lot of drunk and rowdy bar fights. She works from 5pm until 3am and always closes up, usually claiming a few bruises from forcing all the drugged and drunk people out of the bar since they don’t want to necessarily go.
Other: She desires to find someone who can train her to use other types of magic and/or can improve her skill to be something more.

We can go with London since one lives in London already. I've never been to the Uk, so you might have to explain some about certain things that I might not understand. I've completed my second character.... so I'm going to try that.

Name: Adrianna Ramirez
Hair: Dark brown with volume, ends at her shoulder blades. Soft waves. Sometimes wears it in a bun or pinned back into some other updo.
Eyes: brown
Build: She has “latin curves,” and is not very strong.
Appearance: She appears friendly and kind of petite, sometimes almost helpless.
Clothing style: Simple and classy. Sleeps in gym shorts and tank tops.
Skin: Tannish (She’s Spanish.)
Age:28
Height: 5’ 3”

Magic: Only knows the basics, but has a special talent of being able to control a person’s perception of what is going on around them.
Interests: Studying Culture, dancing the tango, cooking, and watching soccer (or football in the UK).
Personality: Sweet and friendly. Not embarrassed easily and doesn’t mind being in the spotlight though she doesn’t search for it. Very stubborn, but very generous. She’s sometimes paranoid for odd reasons- especially around duct tape.
History: Her father is a policeman and her mother a nurse. She grew up in the middleclass in Spain with loving parents. Her grandfather is filthy rich and she is likely to receive the inheritance since she’s the only grandchild. Though she’s had big opportunities, she’s worked hard to get where she is. She had a full-paid scholarship to a private institution in London and graduated with a double major of foreign language and culture. From the middle school through university she took many languages and is fluent in Spanish (native tongue), Portugese, English, and French; she also can speak decent Italian and Mandarin (<not fluent in these two).
After she moved out of the dorm from University, she lived in a small apartment for a while, but later on moved into a condo with a full kitchen in it and enjoys cooking. She once wanted to be a chef, but she’s not THAT great of a cook(Still delicious though with the latin flair she puts on it). She drives her own car because she has a slight fear of riding public transportation because of the below.
She was kidnapped when she was 17, raped, and tortured. She was found in a puddle of blood on the verge of death. They had to revive her twice and she had over 100 stitches/staples put in her for the deep stab wounds that covered her body. She still has several scars: one down her hip, one down her stomach, one down the front of her thigh and another long one from under her arm to her hip on the other side. Because of this she has fears of the dark, and duct tape. Knives and swords also bother her some. She’s fine with most men, but there are a few that for some odd reason will make her go off into an eccentric mode that she can’t control. She doesn’t wear anything above 4 inches about her knee or anything that reveals any of her scars. She refuses to wear swimsuits two of any sort and has never been intimate with a guy, because she doesn’t want anyone to see.

Relationships: Currently in a two-year relationship, but the guy is cheating on her constantly behind her back.
Work: Works in interregation rooms to interpret/ to force a person to admit everything by using her magic. She also teaches a couple tango classes some week nights at a high-class fitness center.
Strengths: Being understanding, lingually talented, and her one special magic.
Weaknesses: Being too understanding, believing lies, being deceived, the dark, and the sight of duck tape.
Other: Ummm. I think that’s about it for her….

I live in Ireland, only been to London once really. I forgot I left in a city reference inside the CS -.-
I generally prefer to set Rps in America. It's bigger, The roads are straight, the towns are more or less .... cant think of the right word... Geometric?..... They have a pattern to them. It's also easier to find on the interwebz what a city looks like in america, as opposed to england/ireland.
So, if you still want london I can do that, or we can pick a random city in the americas somewhere. Or maybe even russia or japan.

True. It doesn't really matter to me. I can go with whatever. I live in America, but it doesn't matter to me.
And the roads are generally more geometric because of the Quakers in the Northeast and then all the different systems of the way the government sold of land which was general in rectangle systems such as the metes and bounds system.... Sorry. I'm a nerd.
I forgot to mention that Chantal runs marathons. (Kinda random but yeah.) And my characters aren't really brilliant.... Your's are much more... I don't know. I like the way you do yours.

Ireland did things very differently, towns and cities don't have a pattern, it just seems like it was one bar, one church, then the town develops around it. America has a design structure to it.

I have the starter written... here's a little preview:


It had been a couple of years since the discovery of what people now called Magic.
Ever since it was discovered, it had developed exponentially. Schools were created which helped develop peoples’ abilities if they had any. These schools developed into colleges, and only some of those colleges became universities.
Magic was divided into five sections; Destruction, Restoration, Summoning, Tagging, and Illusion.


It was only the most rich, powerful, and successful that had the opportunity to enter either the colleges or the universities. This created a divide between the richer and poorer sections of cities and towns. Politicians were reluctant to speak out against the divide since they were affording themselves the opportunity to go to a Magic college.


Most of the wealthiest of these Magic users believe that magic is an evolutionary step forward, and those incapable of using Magic should be removed from the gene pool...one way or another.


Then there are those who believe that Magic would be the destruction of the world, an abomination, and evil. They openly condemned Magic users, and plot to seek out justice.


In a small bar in Los Angeles, a tall man sits in the quietest corner, sipping on a cold cider. The day was hot, the sun beating down on everyone caught in it’s rays. The man’s blonde shaggy hair was much blonder today due to the sun being so bright. The man’s name was Elair Gray, but, he introduced himself as Eli due to a little misunderstanding with the police.
Elair watched, his blue eyes examining the bar and it’s occupants, most of them poor non magic type people. He could trust them not to invade his mind and discover his true identity.
Elair wasn’t one for condemning people for using magic, he would use it too if he had the ability. What he didn’t like was that there were some magic users who had the ability to pick memories from the minds of others, and Elair wanted his memories and thoughts kept to himself.




I'll probably add a bit more to it and put it in the proper...place when I wake up tomorrow...or should I say today.
Either way... I'm too tired to be thinking.

Haha, yeah. Everyone else stays up until four and five and six in the morning and then sleep all day. I enjoy getting up early though, so I have to go to bed at a decent hour.
And when it isn't summer and I'm busy going to classes and other stuff I don't usually get the sleep I need. I become delirious. It's a nice feeling though I become kind of.... crazy &cranky.

I always get pranked at sleep overs with my girl friends.... Ever had anything drawn on your face with a sharpie? It is a PAIN to wash off. haha

Also, I think that Adriana X Sebastian would be good since he can summon knives. That would send her off her rocker! haha

Oh I watched this one British show and there was this phrase that the mother always said that cracked me up. "You talk more random duck shite than anyone I know." haha

Oh if that happens to me, I just act like I can't speak English. "No Englishk. So-so- Soory. Me no-ne Enlish." haha (Trust me, I don't look like a tourist and I'm white and people always look at me funny.)

Or if I'm with friends, we talk in a made up fake language and point at random people. THat's always fun.

I'm irish..well I'm a mix breed of irish and english (more on the english side though but saying that can end up getting one hurt in ireland.)

Really? Aww. Do you live in Northern Ireland. Or... Ireland Ireland? I just know about the protestant and catholic issues.

I'm basically half German and then half a mix of ever other European immigrant.... like I have a tiny bit of Irish, Scottish, british and a bit of Cherokee indian, but... yeah. My German side is like 5th generation immigrant, and my mom (Who is everything pretty much) I don't know which ancestor was an immigrant, so probably way back.

That sucks. I'm sorry. :(

I used to have a Korean friend (he moved back to Korea though so....) and I enjoyed talking to him, because he didn't know much about certain things in America.... He now thinks that no American washes their hands.... haha. xD But it's just that a lot of people don't wash their hands which is GROSS!

Still sucks! I'm glad that you're happy now. I was never really bullied except from my dad really. But you know, I learned a valuable lesson: It's important to have someone you can talk to. It took me so many suicidal years..... I always had so many friends, but weren't close to any of them, had no best friends, and I faked four years of my life.
And why do people even have to even bully?! I feel like it stems from closemindedness- which I hate. haha (Sorry, I get very opinionated about things...)

I keep on twisting my ankle which has sucked because I do long distance running and it hurts like hell afterwards. I gave my ankle an entire week off last week from running (I just went swimming everyday) and I twisted it again this Monday when I went running again. *sigh* It's probably not good for me to be running again, but I have been this week and it's been sore still.

The health care system in ireland is....not great. We don't get appointments at the GP, we go and it's basically first come first serve. I don't like the way ireland is being run in general. I was a student. I was getting a maintenance grant because I couldn't simply support myself with no money. That was fine for the first year, I was getting enough to cover rent, and food, and travel. I also had a 500 overdraft in the bank (it's a student account so there's 0% on literally everything, no interest, no hidden fees.) but the second year the grant got cut in the budget. So I had basically enough to cover food and travel...but not rent. So the debt piled up until I couldn't afford to go to college for the third year. What's funny is that our president, before he got elected said that he wouldn't cut maintenance grants down, and that he would lower college fees. Then he got elected...and did the opposite.

Aww yeah. Sucks. :( I'm going to have a TON of debt :(. I'm hoping for a full-paid scholarship or I'm pretty much screwed. I want to be a general surgeon or cardiovascular surgeon (There is kind of a deficit of general surgeons now so....) so that means college and medical school and yeah. And college tuitions keep on going up every year. I think that a lot of things are corrupt, you know, just for the money.
I'm not into the way the US is being run either. I think we should clear out house of rep, senators, president/vice president and then start over. A lot of people hate what our president has done in office in general, but I'm more annoyed by how much he cuts and spends. He goes on so many vacations. His wife and children went on vacation once and he joined them two days later. If they had went two days later it would have saved the government 6 million dollars. Oh, and their dog has its own jet! Seriously?

Sorry. I went shopping with my mom and I just got back and ended up crying for like thirty minutes... I think I'm just crazy or something. *sigh*

My mom just kind of set me off or something. I never told her about being suicidal, but when I told her some of the things my dad would say and tell her I didn't feel safe around him alone, she never would try to keep me from being away from him, or not with him alone and.... today we ended up talking about it and she evidently believes my dad over me. I used to be depressed and emotional.... thinking back on it though I had no reason for it. (apart from being an outcast, and being constantly bullied, being hated for something I didn't do, by the very person whom I loved.) but if I knew back then what I know now, would make me a very depressed person.

I went through a cutting stage, which touched on the edge of suicidal, but I wouldn't have gone through with it because of one night when I was going to ... you know.. and I found out that I have an insane fear of death. I sat in a quiet room (I mean completely quiet, no noises whatsoever.) I thought about what it would be like being deaf, blind, incapable of smelling, incapable of touching anything, incapable of moving. Then I went on to thinking what it would be like to remember nothing, not even to have consciousness anymore, just cease to exist, unable to think, unable to imagine, unable to dream, just nothing...forever.

That scares me beyond belief.

It's fine. Sorry. haha. I'm actually a very happy-go-lucky kind of person, but I just have to cry it out sometimes.

I've never cut, but I did pinch myself until I bled, but other than that I didn't harm myself, just thought of all the ways I could die. It was a rough patch, but I'm still alive. I realized that I matter to people and that I needed to bear whatever pain I had. I realized that other people had it worse. It didn't make it hurt less, but I realized that I could live with how things were.

I'm a Christian, so I believe in an after life. I guess I just realized that if God wanted me then, he'd take me. So... I just prayed every night to die. I prayed all the time to die. I didn't care how painful it was, I just wanted it.

What annoys me though is I have this friend- well she's more of a bi-.... but basically she causes the problems in her life that causes her depression. She's had issues and my other two besties and I have all had at least one BIG fight with her. It sucks, you know. She claims that all her friends always leave her, oh, and she also blames me for stealing away a friend of her ages ago (which I didn't... I mean, can she not share?), but she's the one always pushing us away, ignoring us, and well, fighting with us. Gosh, it drives me crazy! Ok, sorry for my rantiness (<not a real word). Feel free to complain to me anytime. Haha, I'm sorry.

I am not a Christian. I abide by general life codes which I generated myself through observation of the world and taking in other beliefs.
My belief system is:
I don't care what a person believes, says, does, likes, dislikes, or feels. As long as they don't hurt anyone/anything mentally, or emotionally (I mean like bullying like proper emotional hurt.) it's not my position to say anything about it. I'll give my opinion of course if I'm asked for it, and I'll gladly talk to people about stuff, pick their brains about stuff that we would have in common, or even uncommon. I wouldn't say 'you believing, liking, disliking, such and such a thing is wrong/right' that is unless it's like 'I enjoy kicking cats' (gladly not had that conversation yet) then I would step in and be angry, and start shouting abuse.

And I'm fine with non-Christians (though I know a lot of people aren't). I don't use my religion to shame others or act righteous like some people do- which also annoys me. I also am not offended by people that are homosexual. They're people, just like you and I. Just because I believe that is a sin doesn't mean I should alienate them, or hate them. There are a lot of extremist Christians where I live. Some of my family are and well, it makes me sad. I mean, why do people have to hate others?

Besides, sometimes I need some fashion advice from my gay friend. :) Yeah, I also suck with matching things.

Yeah, there's a general flaw in extremist christianity which is... the fact that only god can judge another person....yet...extremists judge everyone.

One of my best friends is gay.
I also have someone who used to be a friend, and is gay, who I don't like anymore.
It's proof that it doesn't matter what people say do like believe as long as they are a good person.
There's a little sadism in human nature. We see people fall over... and we laugh, sometimes fits of laughter, until that person looks like they hurt themselves, then laughter slowly starts stopping (with the severity of the fall and injury of course) but then in turn if we fall over, there's going to be people laughing.

I have learned to laugh at myself a lot more, and not take the world so seriously, and to not let it drag me down.

It's awesome, drug free, not one lapse into the drug world, and I don't intend to either.
I don't even smoke, I was pressured once. Everyone was like 'you should try it properly' my brother smokes, and my sister used to, so I knew how to take a drag. So at one time I said 'If I try it once will you all shut up?" they agreed hoping it would hook me. I took a single drag and exhaled, then handed it back. 'Don't like it' and they never said anything after that.

I'm not extreme about drug users though, there's enough information going around now that anybody doing drugs knows exactly what the risks are.

Yeah, You'd think that, but there is this big thing about legalizing marijuana right now.... the thing is though, everyone's arguing point is that it is 'natural'. No morons, it isn't natural. The growers grow the plants with toxins and hazardous chemicals to get a preferable blue mold to the plant. The chemicals is what gets you high. If you want natural, just go smoke some grass, it won't get you high, but it's natural.

As far as cigarettes go, it isn't the cool thing to do in the states, not anymore anyways. That's good, but it's been replaced. Everyone just smokes weed now- which causes you to lose motivation.
Oh, and my eldest brother is a drug dealer. So....

Also, if Elair fell asleep in his bed, Chantal would end up in his bed to sleep with him.... haha

Reading, writing, and drawing (though I haven't been doing this much lately). I play the piano and it's kind of like my therapy.
I run cross country, but am not really good or that competitive. I just like running. haha
I also have a horse that I take of, but due to an injury + arthritis this spring, I can't ride him anymore- which really sucks, but he's my baby. I love him to death. I'm kind of worried about it though, because it can't be fixed permenantly and it's likely to get worse. If he's ever in pain though, I know I'll have him put down.

Of course I study... a lot, if you think of that as a hobby??? haha. xD I'm an extreme nerd.

Yeah. They're extremely expensive. I'm really lucky to have the opportunity. The place where I keep him (I live in the city) they don't charge me anything letting my horse stay there. I just have to take care of him.

And good luck on the novel! I've tried a few times, but I have issues with getting the time to pass by and creating enough drama to keep the flow going continuously. Of course, it's hard for me, because I can't hardly get motivated to continue writing after about 18,000 words. It's like a wall I can't pass. :(

I don't play many video games- I generally suck at them, and I don't like to play them for there actually purpose. Like grand theft auto, I just like to run around and steal people's cars drive around, beat people up, try to get the police chasing me and steal there car- and that's pretty much how it goes for me. It's fun that way (to me anyway. haha) and I don't really know the point of it anyway. In COD I just run around and stab people, because I suck at shooting. Really bad- I can play the zombie part of it though; it gives me more time to aim.

Age isn't really a requirement. I'm thinking that to get on the council a test must be passed, an arduous, painfull test which I haven't quite given any form of thought up till now. Yeah. I haven't fixed mine yet. It's really funky, but I'll look at it tomorrow (and hopefully fix it!). Yeah, mine is at least 20 years old, but it's pretty much indestructible. I think it lost a couple screws or something, because this one part of it won't stay on. I just didn't feel like messing with it during the heat of the day. I was mowing in shorts and a bikini top.... haha It's a push mower so I was burning up- but then this weird guy starts mowing the lawn next to me and it was weird. Awkward, but I somehow manage to make things more awkward than they actually are.

I get called a girl a lot by random strangers. Sure i understood a little when i had long hair. But its short now and i always keep a some stubble and it still happens. Haha! But that isn't necessarily a bad thing! Guys can have a girlish beauty to them (I mean... I am, but then I kind of attracted to all types of guys. haha). Of course I'm sure that sucks, but you haven't had a fifty year old man come up to you and be like "You can call me cowboy. Want me to show you my spins?" 0_0 haha, but I just laugh about it.
You could wear a shirt that reads "I am a man." jk, that's a pretty stupid solution, but I don't know. You just have to accept it I guess, make the best of it. I've accepted looking a lot younger than I am and people assuming that I'm a kid- or yeah. I can still fit into large or XL kids clothing though. I'm 5'2" and kind of small, so I understand why people get the impression that I'm so young.

haha. You might shock a few people, but maybe. haha. A lot of it has to do with what our society deems feminine and masculine. I other cultures, a majority of the Northeast Asian cultures for example have completely different set of that makes a guy masculine. In South Korea good-looking guys are referred to as flower-boys and more often than not would be classified as girly here with girlish characteristics. haha, You could be, maybe that's your secret! jk

haha. Yeah. The only drunk people I enjoy being around is probably my mom (which she's never been really drunk, but... after two or three). She's hilarious.... She says enough ridiculous unexpected things as it is, but with some margaritas. It's even more-so.

That's my general rule. In Ireland people get really violent when drinking...so I tend to steer clear, drinking at home or at a friends place is much better (I'll go out drinking in pubs if I have someone who has.. measurable strength with me lol)

you could also try staying away from caffeine.
if you ever think you want a drink, have a drink, or if you feel slightly hungry, like you want a snack have some of... ^^ those or drink water. The thirst .....feeling is weak and your brain often mistakes thirst for hunger.

Yeah. I've always drank a ton of water, but evidently enough. Also probably that I was sick last week and busy didn't help with things. My electrolytes were out of wack so they told me to drink Gatorade a lot too to replenish them since I sweat a lot because of long distance running.

No, we don't have lucozade here that I've known of- or ever seen here where I live (or if it's even sold in the us), but from what I know about it (I have had it once) it isn't great with supplying your body with electrolytes- or not as well as Gatorade.
Oh, and also I forgot to say that I actually don't drink any caffeine. I don't drink sodas. At most I might drink a cup of coffee or a cup of tea a month, which is likely a high estimate above what I actually drink. But I'm definitely scared of it happening again. I'm pretty lucky as far as everything went. The ambulance guy was really funny, and I know the nurse that took care of me, so she was very helpful and understanding.

Yeah original lucozade isn't great for hydration, its full of glucose.

Adverts over here need to be pretty spot on or they get figured out and because everyone is broke as hell, they are jumping on an opportunity to sue for false advertisement.
The lucozade sport advert said that "It was better than water" while exercising for long periods of time, like marathon running. There was a £9M investigation carried out by consumer health organisation to put it to the test.
But yeah, adverts are never 100% accurate.

However due to false advertisements, thats why cleaning products are like kills 99.99% of virus' and bacteria.
The facts are that that is true, but in most cases it kills 100%

The only reason it would work is like the sugar pill effect. You think it would work, so you eat less rather than the product actually making you feel fuller.

Yeah. I like hot tea. Everyone calls me a yankee, but I think I like it because I get cold easy and like hot drinks. Year-round.

I know. haha and I knew somebody who wrote a paper for Spanish using google translate... they failed.... haha I read it and you could for the most part understand what she had been trying to say, but the grammar was messed up and verb congjugation was a NIGHTMARE! Of course I never tried using it.... but then I love Spanish. Sometimes I think it was meant to be my first language.
It might make me seem like an idiot, but it actually took learning Spanish for me to understand a lot about English grammar. That and my English is extremely terrible.

I used google translate a lot for german, but I always checked it over, and it was a good study aid, helped me spot mistakes. I also used it for verb conjugation and vocabulary building.
I was born in england and my schools were very good at teaching us our first language.
Then I came over to ireland and realised that my new teachers were actually useless at it. (sure they knew what they were supposed to be teaching, but they didn't know how to put that information in our brains.) I have messed up handwriting because of that, I was learning one way of writing cursive in england, then when I got to here they tried teaching me in a different way, I got told off for doing it wrong. It was messed up.

College was much better.

Yeah. I had some bad teachers, but my mom taught me mostly since I was little, so I flourished with whatever teacher I had. I could read by four and I'd always read my brother's book who is three years older than me, so my reading level was always much higher than the other kids. I'm lucky my mom's so great. haha
And my writing... Is kind of sloppy and sucks in general. My handwriting looks more like a guys, but it is at least readable. It takes me longer to write in cursive and I only do for thank you notes or letters to people, or things that are handwritten and matter what it looks like. My cursive is decently pretty I guess. And sorry about your teacher. :(

Band. I have a feeling it isn't going to go well, not with all these cocky freshmens that think we're so great because we haven't lost this year.
We won it last year, but we were actually good. We're so inconsistent this year. It's like a cointoss on whether or not we're going to have a good performance or not.
... stepping aside from the pessimism, I hope we perform well, no matter what we place we receive.

The really cool thing about my school is that since 130ish/800ish is a high percentage, being in band isn't considered extremely geeky- it still is a little, but not like a lot of places. A couple of the senior football players even came to state to support us.
I think it's really cool that my school is like this.

you can count yourself lucky being in a school that has band as an option to be a part of.
Our schools were simply Soccer, Rugby, or Gaelic Games. Anything else wasn't even considered.
That was until like '08 '09 and basketball, and volleyball became suddenly popular randomly, and handball.

Yeah. Here we have several sports, but the only program that is any good is the football team- that's because they get all this funding and people have a thing for funding. Of course, the football coach's brother is some big player in the NFL so our team is sponsored by Nike or something.
Our band is only good because we do all the fundraising ourselves- and we practice a lot, plus we have an amazing band director. He's just been around so round that he knows what the judges are looking for. He could have retired 15 years ago, but he loves being a band director so... :)
