I've been playing with the idea of writing down all my characters on one place for a while. God knows that if there is something that I love doing is creating characters (even if I sometimes get bored of playing them), so when I discovered this corner of RPA my eyes started shinning like stars.

In here I'll be recording some of the characters I've used, and haven't had the chance to use, on the numerous RPs I've been on. Apart from those, I may also write down some characters that float around my mind once in a while and that have currently no realm to belong to.

Name: Arella Caelestis
Age: 16

Race: Angel possessed by a corrupt entity.
Faction: The Academy (student, not present)
Weapon(s): A golden scepter that uses magic to create light-based attacks. When corrupted, Arella’s scepter turns into a black trident.

Personality: Arella is a shy, loyal and naive girl that tends to be very sensitive about what happens around her environment. Her absent-mindedness contributes to the "dumb blonde" image she evokes and makes other people sub-estimate her, when in reality she’s really smart. Even thought she hates to cause conflict and would like to settle all conflicts with words rather than with violence, when something or someone she cares about is in danger Arella becomes more serious and brave than her usual self.

Because she was corrupted by a dark entity, Arella developed a darker side opposite to her normal self. This side of her, acts in a childish way but at the same time it’s strangely mature and fascinated with blood, even her own. Because this side of Arella can’t feel pain, she’s very fearless and violent.

History: Arella's parents were killed by demons when she was a small child. This made her quite fearful and weary of them. At the moment of her parent's demise she was accompanied by her twin brother Uriel. Unfortunately, while escaping from the demons they separated. Because of this, Arella spent some time on the streets of the human world until she crossed paths with a staff member of the academy who recognized what she was and took her to the academy.

The Academy’s environment helped Arella, specially because she interacted with both angels and demons and became less afraid of them even thought she still acted skittish around some demons. Many years after living and studying at the academy, Arella found herself once reunited with her lost brother Uriel for a short while before separating once again.

Extra: Her wings are supposed to be white but have slight tinted hue.

Name: Uriel Caelestis
Age: 16

Faction: The Academy (temporary student, not present)
Weapon(s): Magical bow that shoots light arrows.

Personality: Uriel it's very obedient and sometimes very strict. He's willing to sacrifice himself for the behalf of another. He's very patient like his sister and stubborn too. When Arella is involved in any kind of matter near Uriel, his brother complex kicks in and he turns overprotective and paranoid; the latter mainly because after the death of their parents Uriel became obsessed with Arella’s safety. He hates dishonest people.

History: The death of their parents had the opposite effect on Uriel that on Arella. So instead of fearing them, Uriel developed a prejudice against them. The separation from Arella affected Uriel greatly and made him blame himself for having loosing the last person he held dear in his heart. Despite being separated and not having any 'clue' of his sister’s whereabouts he continued to relentlessly search for her, arguing that he "felt" their connection wasn’t seized by death.

When Uriel reunited at last with Arella, he felt as if a heavy weight had lifted from his shoulders and stopped berating himself for their separation. Unfortunately, it seemed that fate had another separation in their way as Uriel had to leave the now destroyed Eternia City to search for a magical book that could be dangerous in the hands of the wrong people. Once he found the book and its current holder, he became the book’s new guardian. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Extra: His wings, just like Arella’s, have a slight blue hue.

Name: Idris
Age: Unknown, but she looks in her early twenties

Faction: The Academy (Leader, Headmistress)
Weapon(s): Magical Powers, fire breath, ash breath and ice breath.

Personality: Idris is very mysterious and observant. She's can be accused of giving to many liberties to the students but when the situation demands it she can impose her will in a very severe and hard way. Idris is also very patient and motherly, in her own way, to the students.

History: Not many people know about Idris’s past and the few they know about her is only snippets of information and a few speculations. The most the students and the staff of the Academy know is that she has been the Academy’s Headmistress for a long, long time.

Idris originally comes from another dimension, since dragons don’t exist in our dimension. She was summoned to the present dimension by a group called The Elders to take care of the Academy and to make sure that the prophecy that would save the world from evil became true. While not entirely selfish, the only reason why she accepted to take care and protect the Academy and follow The Elder’s orders is because her dimension would be greatly affected if The Evil one the prophecy speaks of rose. When she first came into this dimension, she spent some time with the Alati Clan and became good friends with their actual leader, Azim.

Extra: Because she was born from a fire dragon and an ice dragon, Idris has both the ability to breath fire and breath ice. She's also the oldest of three brothers.

Name: Azim Alati
Age: 152 human years

Faction: The Alati Clan (Leader)
Weapon(s): The swords of the Alati: Albus a sword infused with the power of light and Atrum a sword infused with the power of shadows.

Personality: When you first meet Azim, what you’re most likely to remember about him is his relaxed and carefree personality. He’s the kind of person who cares not about when something is done but that it’s done. He likes to enjoy about the small things of life and is like a curious child sometimes. Because of his nonchalant personality, Azim is seen by many of the members of the Alati as irresponsible and not fit for being leader. While he is carefree and childlike, Azim has a big sense of honor that doesn’t allow him to fail those who deposit his trust on him.

Because there are some of the Alati that don’t fully trust him as a leader, Azim keeps his calm personality more afloat on purpose, to make others underestimate him.

History: Azim is the son of the past leader of the Alati Clan. He grew up in the closed environment of the Tower of Babel, the Alati's dwelling, and because of this hasn’t seen much of the world. Ever since he was a child, his life floated about studying and training to become the leader of the Alati as he was the direct heir of the position. This made Azim the chosen target of those who wanted to rule instead of his father.

While his true desire was to travel around the world, Azim understood that many people depended on him for their survival and put his people’s needs before his own dreams. When his father died and Azim became leader of the Alati, he was then contacted by The Elders and became their ally, which was also the moment when he met Idris and became good friends with her before she had to part to protect the Academy.

Extra: To prevent poisonings, ever since he was born Azim was given a daily dose of poison that incremented each day to build up resistance. This conditioning made him immune to most poisons.

Name: Nora Anne Bondevik
Age: 17

Weapon(s): Spirit Magic

Personality: Nora is a young girl that has often been called mysterious by others because of her few words and her lack of facial expressions. She's somewhat reclusive and painfully shy around strangers. With friends, she maintains her stoical demeanor but it's more likely to talk and share her opinion, she's a very loyal friend to those that have gained her trust. Although it's very rare, she can get mad and when this happens she shows a strong and fiery temper, that scares anyone who is used to seeing her calm self. She's prone to holding grudges.

History: Born in Norway, Nora is the daughter of a human man and an elf woman. According to her mother, she was sprinting through the forest when she caught glimpse of a lost human traveler and helped him out the forest. The grateful man was captivated by the elf's beauty and visited her constantly until they both admitted being in love with each other. When the time came, Nora's mother left her home in the woods and went to live with the love of her life in his hometown. Not long after, Nora was born and her parents rejoiced at such gift.

However, their happiness was threatened when one of the townspeople saw Nora's mother perform magic and ran scared, telling the whole town she was a witch. Living in such a small and superstitious rural community, the townspeople feared for their lives and the lives of their children so they chased the small family away from the town.

After that event, Nora's father decided they were far safer living in a big city where humans there tended to ignore superstitions and to pay attention to their own matters rather other people's matters.

Extra: Nora is constantly accompanied by a nisse (humanoid spirit of the Scandinavian folklore said to take care and protect farmer's homes and children). She likes to hang out on cold places because, according to her, they remind her of home, and silent places too.

Name: Kiefer Gutermuth (nicknamed white spirit)
Age: 18
Gender: Male

Race: Angel
Weapon(s): Spirit Physiology. He can transform into an spirit being that in his normal state is incorporeal, invisible and immaterial. He can also possess a person and control the body, but only for small amount of time as it takes a much of his energy to do so.

Personality: Kiefer is a sensitive little guy and an official introvert. He's really friendly and polite and although he may seem calm and collected in the outside, he actually worries and gets anxious a lot (specially if there are large crowds involved because he's agoraphobic). Kiefer is a good listener and won't hesitate to lend you a hand. Unfortunately, he's really naive and knows few about the world resulting in him often misunderstanding normal conducts or beign too trusty to strangers. His sensitivity has made many call him "weak, puny or wimpy".

History: Born in Germany, Kiefer has always been considered a "weich kind" (soft child) because of his health problems and his sensitive personality by his parents. Ever since he was born, Kiefer had spent most of his time in the hospital and had never had the opportunity of going to school or playing like other kids of his age had. Despite this, Kiefer was really smart and a quick learner so he could learn what he had to and even more with the help of tutors. He always wished to see "the outside world" and feel the soft caress of the wind while the sunlight hit his face, unfortunately his disease ended up killing him before he could fulfill his dream.

Name: Larissa Willner
Age: 17

Weapon(s): The power of telekinesis (including Levitation)

Personality: Stylish, lover of beauty and nature, Larissa is very amiable and lighthearted. She also is very diplomatic and it's very likely that she sticks her nose into any situation (whether is she called or not) to help solve it. When she makes her mind about something, it's really hard to change her opinion and hates when someone tries to do it. At her worst, Larissa can be frivolous, indecisive and likes to curiously wander around.

Extra: Arts is her favorite subject. Her favorite form of art is photography reason why she goes everywhere with her camera. She loves taking pictures of nature and things she considers 'amusing'.

Name: Kaito Mizushima
Age: 18

Race: Water elemental
Weapon(s): Water. Kaito can create, shape and manipulate water at will. His specialty is using water as a whip. He can also manipulate any liquid but he hasn't really mastered the ability so he's still inexperienced at it.

Personality: Amiable and compassionate, Kaito is a very level-headed person. He's that kind of person that thinks of others before himself, he's also a daydreamer and can often get whisked very far with the right book. Unfortunately, when Kaito gets lost in thought, which happens really often, he can often forget to do important stuff like showering or eating. He's also a pushover.

History: Kaito grew up in an orphanage with no knowledge of his origins. He was the stereotypical weak kid that the bigger kids would bully most of the time. This was the only real negative aspect of his life as the orphanage he grew up where run by a group of nice elderly ladies.

Kaito discovered his powers when he was 11 years old and tried to protect himself from the bullies that were beating him. From then onwards, other children started to leave him alone and some even looked at him like he was a freak of some sort.

A year later, he was adopted by a woman named Angela with whom Kaito bonded deeply. He was afraid of revealing his abilities, fearing that they would scare the woman he now considered as his mother, but he was terrible hiding stuff and Angela discovered Kaito's ability to control water in an slip-up the boy had. Angela accepted Kaito and his abilities saying that he a very was special boy but never changed her motherly attitude towards him. Up to this day, Kaito tries to be the perfect son, with perfect grades and a perfect conduct, because he feels he wants Angela to be proud of him.

Extra: He loves reading books. His favorite genres are fantasy and mystery.

Name: Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tegan
Age: 18
Gender: Female

Weapon(s): Ice manipulation skils. Can create ice weapons, emit ice beams and make hard ice shields. She also uses a bow to fire ice arrows. When her ice abilities are rendered useless, she uses a scythe as a melee weapon.

Personality: Modest and meticulous, Gwen has a very reserved attitude that makes it hard for her to fully open up to others. She's very patient and observing to the point where she can be too critical and perfectionist, is for this reason that she may look cold and harsh to others. Lastly, Gwen is obsessed with cleaning and clean stuff.

History: Gwen was born in Arcaedia, the kingdom of knowledge. Her father was a scholar and her mother was a teacher. Ever since she was little, she developed a profound love for books which quickly differentiated her from other kids. While the other children frolicked around, Gwen sat under the shadow of trees to read. This made her the target of the bigger kids. Because of the bullying, Gwen resorted to stay home and read.

When the war broke in on Talion (the biggest and main kingdom of the planet), Gwen and her parents tried to escape from the attacks by moving to Talion where they thought that they would be safer. Unfortunately, in Gwen's father had to sacrifice his life so Gwen and her mother could escape from the Arch-demons chasing them. Ever since then Gwen has hated them and has wished to find a way to help exterminate them.

Extra: As a Soul Guardian, Gwen posses a crystal in the form of a ring (http://www.mineralminers.com/images/tanzanite/tanzanite-jewelry/tanzanite-rings/tanj219-tanzanite-jewelry-ring.jpg) which contains a fraction of the energy of the King whom perished in the war. She also has an spirit beast that she can summon. Gwen's spirit beast is a snow fox.

Name: Althea "Thea" Kelly

Personality: Althea is a very sentimental and sensitive person and a natural daydreamer. Early in her life she developed the habit of putting others first and at taking care of her at last. She often daydreams and expresses her dreams in the form of drawings. If she had to describe herself with three words she would use: Caring, quirky and moody.

History: Althea lives in Oregon with her father and her little brother, her mother died while she gave birth to Ian (Althea's brother) when she was ten years old and since then she has become the 'mother' of the family. After the death of her mother her father started to spend more and more time at work which in turn obliged Althea to learn to take care of her house and brother.

It was only with the help of her elderly neighbor that Althea managed to balance her school life and her house life. Ms. McCarthy (the neighbor) became something like Althea's second mother since she not only took care of Ian when Thea was at school, but she also took care of Althea when her father failed to give her the care and love that she craved for.

Actually, Thea lives a normal life (as normal as a life with an absent father can be). When she graduates of high school, she wants to become an Illustrator.

Extra: Carries a bag with a first aid kit and diverse medicinal substances, a compass, a sketchbook, a flashlight and a Swiss army knife.

Name: Neva Whittal
Age: She looks 19, but she really is 246 years old.

Race: Dragon, more specifically an Ice Dragon.
Weapon(s): Ice powers. Neva can use her breath to freeze her foes, she can also project cold energy blasts and create, shape and manipulate ice at will.

Personality: Despite being an ice dragon, Neva's personality is not cold and distant at all. Neva is very confident of her abilities and can be considered an ambitious person too. As the youngest sibling in her family she's used to being spoiled, but she tries really hard to not be too dependent on others. She hates being under somebody's thumb and is stubborn. She can be a honest and funny friend as long as you don't speak ill of her.

History: Neva is the youngest sibling in a family of three. She has an older sister and brother who did her best to raise her since their mother died a century after her birth, their father's whereabouts are unknown.

Her older sister Idris left them Neva and their brother when Neva was one hundred twenty-eight years old. She never told Neva the reason why she left, and every time she asked her brother about it, he always changed the topic. Since the moment Idris left, her older brother Jacek was the one in charge of training Neva.

Many decades passed until the day Neva just realized that she wanted to explore the world and enjoy the many things that the outside world presented. So one night after a long discussion with her brother, whom was against Neva's wish of exploring the world, she packed her belongings and wrote his brother a note expressing her thoughts and feelings. With a last glance back to her home, Neva started her journey.

Extra: Neva always wears a lilac lily in her hair which is a reminder of both her older sister and brother. She loves to cook.

Name: Brenna Sheehan
Age: 16

Race: Earth elemental
Weapon(s): The ability to control plant-life. So far the only things that Brenna is capable of are hearing the whisper of the plants and coerce them to do her will.

Personality: Brenna falls under the 'I'm shy with strangers, but I'm more outgoing with friends and people that I know' cliche, she can only let her true personality out with the people she considers her true friends. Brenna is quite mellow, amiable and gentle, She won't hesitate to help someone who needs her. On the other hand, she could be labeled as a pushover and a sensitive person.

History: Brenna grew up like the typical rich girl raised in a bubble and treated like a porcelain doll. As a child she didn't have much friends because she wasn't allowed to go outside the limits of the mansion and whenever she tried to go outside, some servant suddenly came out of nowhere, brought her back and scolded her for trying to get out.

Her parents were devoted to her and really cared for her well-being, but their jobs kept them occupied and unable to spent time with their daughter. To compensate their absence on their daughter's life, they brought Brenna many gifts and toys in hopes that material objects could replace the affection they had failed to give to whom they considered their princess.

Brenna discovered her powers a few days before her fourteenth birthday when she was swimming in the mansion's pool. When it happened she was supposed to be watched by a servant, but the young lad had faulted to his duty and didn't really pay attention to her. Suddenly a masked man clad in black dropped down a tree near the pool and grabbed Brenna by her neck. When the young servant realized this, he dashed quickly to get help. For Brenna the man's grip was cutting out her oxygen supply, the poor girl wildly shook her arms and begged God to help her when she heard a small voice inside her head.

"Are you asking for our help?"

Brenna didn't know where the voice came from, she only limited to reply a big mental "YES!". As soon as the thought left her mind, green vines and long tree branches sped towards the stranger and coiled themselves around his neck and limbs. The pressure of the vines quickly ended him.

When the servants came to Brenna they found her unconscious next to her attacker which was already dead. No one ever told Brenna the truth about what had happened with the black clad attacker, only that he was an assassin hired to kidnap her and kill her.

After that episode and other events, Brenna finally realized that she had special abilities. When she told her parents they didn't believed her until she forced a tree branch to move in front of them. They were astounded and ran to help their daughter to 'adjust' to her new life. That's when they heard about Clearwater Falls, a school for the unnaturally gifted, and didn't hesitated to enroll their daughter there.

Extra:Since her "episode", Brenna always keeps a plant/flower or two close to her, her favorite flower is the stargazer lilly.

Name: Airlea 'Leah' Sheehan

Weapon(s): The ability to turn into an spirit (ethereal body), to be intangible and posses a person for a limited amount of time.

Personality: Airlea is very subtle and agreeable, she has nice disposition, is very pacific and also has a romantic streak. She hates cruelty and violence. Unfortunately, it's very easy to influence her and change her opinion of something. She also is very curious, to the extent that she often sticks her nose where she shouldn't.

History:Airlea was a normal girl that grew up in a small town on the outskirts of Oregon. One of the earliest memories that Airlea has is waking up in the middle of the night, walking downstairs and seeing her mother and father arguing. Every time this happened Airlea noticed that her father smelled rather funny and weird.

When Airlea was 7 she became completely aware of her dad's drinking issues, he came more and more late at home and now, apart from reeking of alcohol, he came smelling like cheap perfume and other things that Airlea didn't want to know what they were. The young Airlea was really unhappy because she often saw her mother sad and crying and grew up hating the man that was her father.

When Airlea turned 10 it was when things were worse than ever, not only her father's addiction grew but he also started beating her mother. After years of enduring his beatings, and tired of all the abuse, Leah's mother decided to pack their things and move to another place, a place where they could start from zero and have a happy life. But when Airlea's father came home and found them with their belongings already packed, a great rage like no other took possession of him. Leah's mom told her to wait in her room and then all hell broke loose. Ten year old Airlea had to witness how her father killed her mother with her own hands.

After that, Airlea had to endure five years of being under her father's thumb and walked up to the same path her mother took. One night, after waking up from his alcohol induced stupor, Leah's father came to her, full of lustful feelings, and tried to have his way with Leah. When the girl proved to be too much problem and tried to get free, her dad got angry and grabbed the closest sharp object (which was a broken beer bottle) and stabbed Airlea with it.

For a few minutes, Airlea lay there, quiet and expecting to see her guardian angel take away her soul to finally be with her mother's, but when his father cursed and Airlea realized she felt no pain, she knew there was something wrong. The drunken man quickly got off her and Leah saw how her hands, and the rest of her body, started to turn pale and translucent. In that moment, a light purple light enveloped her body and changed her appearance. Her light blonde hair turned light purple and her violet blue eyes turned completely purple. Before the light faded, she felt a warm feminine presence envelop her. Up to this day, she believes that was her mother's spirit.

Six months later, Airlea found hersef living with her maternal grandparents. As Leah didn't want to have any secrets with who were supposed to be her family, she wasted no time and told them about her ghost abilities. Instead of shunning her like others had done, they both accepted her for who she was and suggested for her to go to the Ghost Academy, where they could keep her safer and help her deal with her abilities. In the meanwhile, Airlea's father got arrested and charged with aggravated murder. He was later sentenced to life incarceration.

Name: Artemis "Emi" Moore
Age: 18

Weapon(s): Her claws. Has the ability of reading people's auras

Personality: Artemis has an introvert personality. She would prefer to cuddle in a comfy spot with a nice book rather than going to a party and dance. Despite being introverted, she's not shy and quiet, she's just enjoys being alone and likes to keep personal things to herself, you can notice Artemis it's actually very nice when you talk to her. She enjoys reading and painting and becomes irritated or angry when she can't have sometime for herself.

Because of her ability, Artemis is really good at reading other people and on guessing other people's emotions. She's also a very good actress, often choosing to act 'weak' and making people underestimate her.

Artemis isn't very athletic, she's skinny because of her high metabolism, and running too much tires her a lot. She gets headaches when she reads too many people's auras at the same time for an extended period of time.

Name: Rowenna Byrne
Age: 22

Race: Human sorceress
Weapon(s): Magic spells. Two small silver daggers that she often hides in her clothes.

Personality: Rowenna is a happy bright person, she's very optimistic and often sees the 'good in the bad'. She doesn't have a lot of friends because many can't keep with her, but she has a small circle of people that she's loyal. Being so active, the way that Rowenna outlets her energy is via martial arts (which she only uses as a way of training, to defend herself and/or her friends).

History: Rowenna is an orphan, she grew up in a small village in Valadin. In the village Rowenna acted as the 'big sister' of the smaller children of the orphanage.

Her life was normal and common until the day she and her friends tried to access the orphanage's attic. There were many suspicions and speculations about what was behind that big black door, some kids said that there were monsters in the attics, others said that a demon lived there and anyone who entered would end as it's meal. Rowenna hated the mystery, so she adventured inside the attic in the middle of the night. She came out with a book full of strange symbols and a vacant expression that made the others ask what had happened. Rowenna reveled nothing.

From that day onwards Rowenna started reading the book, even thought that others only saw only weird symbols, it was as if she could understand every single mark, every single image. That was the beginning of the manifestation of Rowenna's powers.

After having learned to move objects with her powers, the villagers looked at Rowenna with different eyes, they were suddenly afraid that she would do something to them and their families, so they shunned her and made her leave the village.

That day was the saddest of her life. Her only consolation was that her orphanage friends still were loyal to her. Rowenna packed her few belongings, two or three changes of clothes and rode into the unknown.

Personality: If Idris is the leader and caretaker of the family and Neva the spoiled little girl, Jacek would be the quiet diplomat. He's rather calm and thoughtful and tends to keep his temper in most situations, unless his family's well being is involved. Jacek is a very patient teacher, trait he had to rely on while raising his little hot-headed sister Neva. He usually puts others needs above his.

He's the kind of person whom is not very used to freely demonstrating his affections. He can be rather stubborn when it comes to personal matters. Even thought he's not a great talker, he's a great listener and very perceptive to others feelings.

History: Jacek is the middle child of the family. He has an older sister whom he adores and younger sister he tries to give the best to. When their mother died, he was still a kid (on dragon terms) and he took the role of the house caretaker.

While Idris choose to forget about their father and Neva was too small to remember anything of him, Jacek was one of the most affected by it as he saw his father as his idol. The male figure he wanted to become when he grew up. That's why his betrayal towards their family pained Jacek the most. In one instant he had lost his hero.

When his older sister Idris left, he was charged with the responsibility of working to sustain him and Neva and was also in charge of teaching her to use her powers. He doesn't know all the reasons for Idris's departure, but he's been suspecting some for a while now. All this while he hasn't been able to contact her.

When Neva argued that she wanted to leave their home and travel towards new lands, Jacek lost his composure out of fear for Neva's safety. He now laments that their last dialog had been an angry discussion and everyday prays for both sisters safety.
