You have just encountered a man on the roadside. He has challenged you to a duel. Will you accept? or will.you walk away?

Here's the rundown. This challenge is a simple one on one (duh) and is to either bleedout or surrender. The environment will be decided on before the fight and no this won't be judged.

Additionally while magic is permitted between both sides it cannot be magic that is either overt)ie making a giant crack open up to swallow your opponent) or be able.to kill instantly.
The standard rule of no godmoding applies like always and also if.you do.have shield magic it must.have limitations such as time or number of hits.

Battle setup

This duel will be turn based and each post will require all.parties involved to list.certain stats which are but not limited to
Health, mana)or NO), fatigue levels )1-10 with ten being to tired to fight) and any stat that applies in the current situation
(Ie speed or attack)

Weapons: one.short katana (27" blade instead of a 36" blade) with a black cord wrapped hilt and brass crossguard the blade itself is black with Japanese characters on it that spell out roughly. "One blade to heal. One blade to rend" he also carries a small.number of.shurikin (about 20 spread.out between.two.special pockets) as well.as wire (20yrd) and four small.kunai knives each held in a sheath on his thighs while the wire is coiled and stowed in a pouch that hangs off his belt

A defence.spell that works like a passive shield once.activated the user switches places with a object.in.the world (such as a log or rock) and.leaves a after image that while.convincing when not.paying attention can easily be proven a fake this spell can only be used when the caster takes damage and takes.three posts to.recharge
"Shadow doppelganger" the caster creates up to ten physical bodies that both look and act like the caster but with roughly anywhere from a fourth to a tenth of.the.original's strength. They dispel.when attacked or after four.posts and cannot use magic beyond simple attack.And.defensive spells.
Recharge time six posts
"Shadow force"
The caster cloaks him(or her)self in darkness which increases the physical attack power of and speed of the caster at the cost of both physical and magical defense the spell lasts for three posts then fades
Recharge time eight posts.

Attributes:
All human weakness such as battle fatigue and endurance apply.
Weakness to magic. Lightweight fighter and requires moderate levels of.light to see clearly.
As a human Kenshin has a near ridiculous amount of.willpower and charisma. He also has a relatively high pain threshold but is still subject to the sensation of pain
Biography:
A warrior of the darkness Kenshin has trained for years to master.the arts of the shadow warriors. With his black blade he fights not only for himself but for those who cannot fight.
Personality: reserved and often times almost laid back. But relentless in battle particularly if he has a personal reason to fight
Background
As shadowy as his upbringing the man who trained Kenshin could never be found and it is rumoured that he was in fact a spirit. While these cannot be proven Kenshin's fighting style lends it some credibility. (Note most of my characters are still under development and may change over time)
