A Roleplay By Pryo-sensai:
It is the eightieth year of the war started by Sozin. The Fire Nation grows stronger with each passing year and the resistance forces are growing restless. There is a rumour that the Firebenders are developing a new kind of weapon. The rumour states that just one of these weapons can wipe out an entire division alone. A retired Earth Kingdom general has formed a secret branch organization of the White Lotus Society called Hei An, or the Shadow's Children, in order to find and eliminate the plans and people involved with this new super weapon. He is hand-picking members from all over the world to join. You have been chosen to participate in this mission. Use what training you have learned wisely and good luck.
THIS IS A LIMITED RP! That means I can only allow a certain number of people before I cut off entry! Hei An is an elite group of trained assassins and thieves, no more than thirteen members. And I know Hei An doesn't translate as Shadow's Children, that's just its nickname. It really translates as dark, darkly, or darkness. But anyway, onto rules...
The basic rules of the site apply of course and I would like to have a slightly more advanced group of roleplayers. If you're new to roleplaying and it shows, please get some practice before coming here.
No killing anyone else's character without their permission.
ABSOLUTELY, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL THERE BE GOD-MODING! If there's one thing I hate more than anything in RPs it's God-Mode.
Respect each other. I don't like rude people.

Please try to write longer paragraphs. I won't kill your wrists by making you write minimum two paragraphs but one nicely written and descriptive one should do it.

Ironically, the following night their village was raided by a group of Fire Nation ships. The two escaped and began their journey to the Earth Kingdom until the day they could return home.
PERSONALITY: Authoritative, serious, can seem harsh, actually very caring, puts her brother before anything else, rarely smiles

His father owned a merchant ship, and he would learn waterbending from his mother on the long voyages between kingdoms. On one trip to an Earth Kingdom port their ship was attacked and destroyed by fire nation pirates. Maki and the few crew members who surived were taken in by the Earth Kingdom, where they have lived ever since.
PERSONALITY: Maki is a morbid character. He is highly fascinated by death and has little fear of dying. Because of this he can be highly reckless and have little regard for his safety or that of others, and his stubborn nature only makes it harder to get him to be cautious of his actions.

PERSONALITY: A joker, entertainer, and an all around warm guy. Not a hero. has that instinct of self-preservation. Just watch out if he gets suddenly quiet and you feel a chill in the air.

Having dedicated himself completely to learning the art of Earthbending as a youth, Aun has mastered the Hung Gar techniques and has nearly earned his mastery of the Chu Gar Southern Praying Mantis style of fighting.
PERSONALITY: Stoic, to say the least. Slow and purposeful. Only says things that are worth saying, laughs when appropriate. Seemingly spending as little energy as possible, but not lazy, by any means. Not one to tolerate hesitation in the midst of battle Only fight if you have the stomach, is what he always says. A "no bullcrap" individual, and one can sense that just by walking past him.
BENDER?: Yes

WEAPONS: Steel-knuckled gloves and steel toes/soled/heeled boots

Scars running up and down his arms, chest, and back. Either from blade or whip. He has a nasty scar that goes from his hairline, over his right eye, and all the way to his chin. Because of the scar, he is blind in his right eye.
OTHER: Usually wears a heavy, deep red gi robe. Removes it when fighting. Belt sash keeps it on his person, but he prefers to fight with nothing on his torso so there is nothing for anyone to grab but taught, stone-hard muscle.

BIO: Being the child of a soldier with no mother, Rae never did see much of her father except when he was home from missions, which wasn't often. One day Rae was waiting for her father to return, when her villiage was attacked by fire nations soldiers. Rae was badly wounded and was taken care of by the village elders. After she recovered, she learned that her father was murdered on the way to the village. Ever since that day, she's been thinking of ways to destroy the fire nation.

BIO: Zu was left on the steps of a small monastery at the far western corner of the world. The monks that took him in were weak benders but strong when it came to Martial Arts. But in one of the dustiest corners of the library they found an old scroll on general bending written by one of the Avatars. They gave it to Zu as more of an aid in teaching him to read but soon they found the boy had a skill in Firebending. It started small with simply heating soup or lighting a fire but then it got bigger and soon he was the closest thing to a Skilled Firebender short of an actual Fire Nation Soldier the Monasteries seen in centuries. His wondering eventually brought him too the Earth Kingdom and the Hei An.
PERSONALITY: Quiet, intelligent, unstoppably calm, conducts himself with the skill of a Warrior and the disposition of his Saintly Brothers. Never misses a meditation for fear of the fire getting out of control.
BENDER? Yes ELEMENT: Fire
WEAPONS: Double Hook swords he can use his power to make the blades red hot and far better cutting weapons.

Ai, Bloodbending is a special power only accessible to Waterbenders. They can only use it during the full moon and under total concentration. It is called Bloodbending but really it is the manipulation of bodily moisture (as the human body is roughly 70% water). So really you could say Waterbenders are the most dangerous.
Just a quick question, how many of have actually watched at least one whole season of Avatar?

ALSO! For those of you who don't know/remember! SOZIN IS DEAD. We are EIGHTY YEARS into the war. The current Fire Lord is AZULON. He has his two sons IROH and OZAI. NONE of the main characters (the Gaang) have been born yet. Iroh is in his 40s right now and has not invaded Ba Sing Se yet. Ozai is in his 20s. Any other questions regarding where we are?

I thought they had one of every element? Season-wise.
They did, minus Air. It went Water-Winter, Earth-Spring, Fire-Summer. During each season Aang had to learn the element named for it. As such, he already knew Air so he did not need to learn that again. Also, Sozin's Comet went by during the summer and that's what ended the war.

Unless you change your character sheet to make it a little more time and ability accurate I can't let you in. Also, this is more of advice more than anything else, it would be better if she were older. The youngest one here is 17 and this is an adult RP. I'd have to say 17 is the youngest age I'd permit.

But, AliceMalice15, the sheet is looking pretty good but the personality is the only thing lacking. You need to be a little more specific. Also I would like to know what a Waterbender is doing in the Fire Lord's palace. And is this "member of Hei An" the General? None of the characters have met each other before the first meeting aside from the twins. Another tiny question, not as important, is Tai albino?

ok here it goes. Her mother was captured earlier in the war when she was pregnant with Tai and Tai showed signs of being really useful to the firelord so they took her from her mother. Never mind about the Hei An member IDK what I wanted to do there anymore. And yeah she's Albino ^w^ why?

Also, I was just curious. You will have to use hoods often for her sensitivity to light.

You actually have to grab the picture and not the website the picture is on. With google just click on the picture itself to enlarge it. That is the code you use.
