Arrats jumped out of bed as soon as the night had fallen. Her mind wondered only towards what she had planned on doing tonight. ”Bon Temps,” She whispered as she walked into the kitchen and grabbed a TrueBlood out of the ice box. She popped it in the microwave for a few minutes while she grabbed a few extra outfits. BEEP! She was back in the kitchen in no time flat and began to sip the warm TrueBlood slowly, as she shut the microwave door. She exited the apartment grabbing her bag as she shut the door. She hadn’t traveled for a few months and was ready to get back out into the world.
She walked like a normal human until she reached the elevator. She pushed the down button and waited, ’This is too slow.’ She thought then used her vampire speed to go down the stairs and as she go to her car, the elevator opened on her floor.

Aala stared out the window of her and her fiancé’s apartment with a soft sigh she whispered, ”Sister, I pray you are ok.”

Eve sighed heavly as she sat in her new rented house. She stared at the boxes in the leaving room that needed to be unpacked. " And now the monsters come out to play." She spoke outloud to herself after glancing out the window, seeing the sun disappear behind the horizon. She glanced around at her barely-furbished home. She lifted herself off of the bean bag chair she was sitting on and rubbed her temples. I'm hungry and I have nothing to eat, she spoke to herself, sometimes being different is really annoying especially if you don't know what you touch can harm you. Eve slipped on a pair of yellow converses to match her yellow sundress and her black leggings. She ran a brush through her hair and made for the nearest place with food.

Aldrid walked casually through the darkening air. Or at least what he preceived as a casual walk. I truth it was what humans would call a Mach 1 sprint. He wasn't actually breaking the sound barrier, but thats what it looked like. The air cooled around him, making a sort of wispy mist. It helped that it was humid, and in the middle of summer. In winter any humidity in the air formed ice. As such, at least visual effect wise, Aldrid preffered summer.
He jumped to the top of a lamp post, suddenly at a stand still. Most humans trip and fall when the stop running, but Aldrid could go from what he considered a sprint, to standing normally in less time than it took to blink. This made for a good hunting technique, sprinting along the tops of buildings, then jumping your prey in front of an alley, dragging them into the dark and silencing them before they made a sound.
He looked around, and sniffed. While Werewolves were the ones know for thier wolf like senses of smell, vampires could smell just as well, if not better. So far, Aldrid had not scented, smelled, or heard another vampire in this town. This was surprising. Aldrid knew they were here, and vampires were VERY territorial. Only one vampire was usually in a town or city, as long as there wasn't a clan or family unit. These were the most dangerous. They could rip a single vampire to shreds.
Despite his senses, Aldrid did know they were here. He had connections at the hospital. All those cases of bites to the neck couldn't be his own doing. He made damn well sure to heal the peirced area after he was done. And he didn't take as much blood as these victims had lost. He spread his feeding all over the female population. He climbed back down the pole, and continued at a more human pace.

The first thing she always heard were the crickets. Their soft little chirps, like a bank of alarm clocks surrounding her in her sleep. Soft and melodious in her dreams. Their sweet song had woken her for almost two years. Ever since she had found this small abandoned house in the swamp. It had the looks of a forgotten hunting shack, although what someone hunted in the swamp, she wasn’t quite sure. She only knew that it was secluded. No real road in, or out. If there was ever a road, it had been taken over by the water and the moss. The house was surrounded by a small grove of trees, the roof top so overgrown with moss and climbing vines as to almost disappear in the quiet of the rustling of trees and the occasional bird that wandered by.
It was comforting really, the peace and quiet. The small chirping of the crickets, hiding with her under the house. It was safe. There are much worse ways to be woken up she mused to herself while she stretched, wondering how long she had slept. Lately she hadn’t always gotten up when the night fell, preferring to just sleep more. Her body felt stiff, making her wonder how long she had actually slept.
Seeing the light coating of dust across her skin, her clothing, she noted it must have been a few days, if not more since she had last left her “nest”. Realizing she was hungry, she calculated it had been at least a few days, if not a week. Time to find food she grumbled to herself, not relishing the idea of another animal meal. Maybe it was time to go to town. She remembered that Bon Temp’s was only about five miles away.
Scrambling out from under the house, she said good bye to the crickets for tonight, dusted off her clothing and headed for town. Life, human beings, conversation, and perhaps a willing donor were on the menu for tonight.
