After what seemed to be the whole day treading this forest, a young girl finally reached what seemed to be the ruins of a chapel. Hell, this might be a great place to rest at for awhile. Seeing that it seemed to be in the clear, Kaika stopped in her tracks to examine the area closely. "...well...something about this place seems...different. Right Miki?" she says as she looks at the empty air next to her. A few moments of silence took over, and Kaika only rolls her eyes as she replies back to the emptiness,"Sure, I'm fine on my own. You don't have to worry about that..." After that, Kaika lets out a sigh once the empty presence faded away for now. Before she could call it a day, something started to feel wrong. Shit...is someone near? she thought as she immediately felt the energies of different people coming near her location. It wasn't very clear to her senses on how many seemed close to her, but she had a bad feeling about this.

By instinct, Kaika rushed over to a stone wall of the ruins, hiding behind it. Her breathing became quiet, trying her best to not blow her cover. If that fails though, Kaika put her two fingers on her bandaging that was on her left leg.

Wei had gotten a contract for a fight in these ruins. She had only looked at the contract for a second, so she was going in blind, as she didn't know who the hell she was fighting. She did see tracks from animals, so there was food if this took a while.

As she walked, she felt, something, something very dark, almost soulless. No, they stayed on Remnant. This feels, different. Now spooked, Wei drew her CSRs, Mercy and Redemption. With them in revolver form, Wei was ready to rock and kick some ass as she came upon the remains of what looked like a church... Or Beacon... No, don;t go there Wei.

Marco was in the depths of the ruins meditating, informed that a target would be in the area he sat with crossed legs in a dark room, his gear laid out in front of him. Suddenly one of the warning systems was tripped, he calmly got up and started gathering his gear, dressing and arming himself ready for the fight ahead.

Holgath, The Forbidden Emperor, was walking through the ruin examining the walls and textures of the walls themselves. He had his sword and shield laid up against another wall behind him and at this point to anyone he would of seemed to be a giant. His sights were focused on finding another sword that was in this area, but was also informed that there are more then one soul in this area and with that he moved away from the wall and picked his sword and shield and waited for something or someone to appear before his majesty.

Soon, Kaika could tell that there were three other sources of energies nearby, but she couldn't exactly pinpoint where they were. Well...this is just great... she thought to herself in frustration. She thought about why there was people here in the first place, and then assumed that some fight was to happen here for whatever reason. Maybe create a diversion and see what happens from there? Kaika thought, since she wasn't so sure on what to do. At the same timing, her "partial mode" was activated, and her eyes changed to a bright neon pink color. She stayed at her place behind the stone wall, but managed to manifest a single pink energy blade in a nick of time. Kaika then send the energy blade flying out some distance away from her, and it stabbed itself into the ground in the open where it would come to the attention of the other three. Now it was all a waiting game for Kaika before she could try to do anything else, but knew she may had to fight if it comes to that.

As she was moving about, Wei felt something, appear for lack of a better term. This put her even more on edge, as she was already jumpy from the dark as hell presence she felt, so the pink blade made of what looked like solid Aura made her jump just a tad. the coloring reminder her of someone she knew from back home.

But his team was wiped out? they fell right along side the others... "Ren?" she called out, unsure if it was the man she was thinking of.

Marco calmly left the underground section of the ruins, quickly climbing up a wall to get a better view he spotted two things that caught his eye, large man gathering his gear and a bright pink thing glowing, to far off to see clearly. he decided on the larger man, one less person to worry about meant this would be easier.

Silently creeping closer he stopped above the man on a high piece of the ruins, waiting for the right moment.

Holgath saw a pink figment of something that he hadn't seen before in his days of conquering. He moved towards the pink figment but stopped in his tracks feeling there is more than one soul around the area. He suddenly felt a rather strange presences loom over him as if something were watching him and waiting for him to make move. He put on his helmet and prepared for battle standing at the ready with his shield up and his sword at the ready. He knew that acting high and mighty would probably get him killed in this situation so he tried not to force to much into this situation. He moved forward keeping his thoughts ahead of him before he stopped again and looked towards the sky seeing it still day then off to his left caught a figure staring down upon him and smirked underneath his helmet, 'First victim.', he said in his head. He looked forward once more acting like he hadn't seen the figure.

Kaika listened for any response, pretty much anything. There wasn't much she could hear...but it was then she heard a female voice whisper out someone's name. ....I can't trust anyone here... she thought, being quite on the edge as she didn't know if she was going to be attacked right away by these other three she could sense. Without putting much thought on her next move, Kaika snapped her fingers carefully once she heard the voice call out for someone named "Ren," and this caused the pink blade left stabbed in the ground to glow brighter. A second later, the blade would shatter apart into shards, and being hit by this shards would feel like glass. After that, Kaika peeked out to see what happened near the shattered pink blade, and then quickly retreated behind the stone wall.

Seeing the pink thing start to glow brighter, Wei ducked back into cover. She had been around Dust back at Beacon, and knew brighter meant explosion, so she ducked back, and waited for the fragmentation to clear. Once she was sure it was done, Wei rolled out from cover, Mercy and Redemption ready to start pumping targets full of lead.

Seeing nothing, Wei moved forward, towards a broken down wall, and where she though she saw a bit of pink.

Marco watched the large being, moving around a lot. finally deciding to attack, dust running up behind him due to it being quieter and leaping onto the mans back, looking for any spots to start stabbing into to bring him down quickly.

Seeing the pink figment explode into shards he immediately used his shield to block the attacks causing him falter back a step before regaining his balance. Then he was confronted with the attacker he had spotted before but this time he was on his back and laughed deeply, "Petty mortal!" he screamed grabbed the attacker and throwing him away from Holgath's body before stomping his feet down, "You die here.." he said before swing his sword summoning fire which appeared at the tip of his sword.

Kaika couldn't see if there was someone coming, but could hear someone's footsteps coming closer and closer. It was for sure that she was noticed when peeking over for just a moment. Quickly, Kaika created another pink energy blade and sent it at where she could feel Wei's energy. Once that was done, Kaika began to rush over to another wall for cover. She felt like she needed to play it safe until she really gets ready for a fight.

Wei was moving slowly, ready for anything, so when the pink of blade of energy came at her, the Hunteress ducked out of the way, eyes looking for the target attacking her. She saw movement again, and not waiting this time around, rushed her target, jumping over the wall kaika was using as cover and letting the lead fly from Mercy.

Marco quickly regained his composure in the air, using his dust running to stop himself. He looked up at the man blankly, calmly pulling out two throwing knives, and standing his ground, waiting for the bigger man to make a move.

The Emperor swung fire balls towards his attacker keeping his thoughts on wanting to rid this man from this world. He keep his balance as he threw the set of fire balls which came in pairs instead of one at a time. After that he moved to a wall climbing up by running up the wall before using his wings to keep him in the air, and leaped off the wall and slashed downward towards his attacker seeing if the attacker himself could dodge both the fire balls and his slash attack.

Marco threw the throwing knives and quickly dodged the fire and turned back towards his opponent, having only enough time to brace himself putting both arms up and hardening the armour on his forearms and blocking the sword with a grunt. looking up at the man he could feel Stilos pressed against his arm under his armour. moving his arms so his hands were grabbing either side of the blade. Magnetizing it for a second to the mans armour to give himself a second, quickly moving inside the mans range and starting to attack any weak points he can find with Stilos, perched on the mans sword arm for the second his sword is stuck to his chest to make any counter harder to do and easier to dodge.

Kaika heard climbing sounds on the other side of the wall she was hiding behind, and glanced upwards quickly to see that Wei had spotted her and was shooting at her. Knew I shouldn't be going too pacifist here.... she thought in frustration as she crossing her arms in front of herself. Pink energy materializing in front of her and just in a nick of time to become an energy shield to block the bullets. Some time after getting the shield up, she rolled out of the way and got to her feet. With the shield disappearing, Kaika manifested two more energy blades, but grabbing these blades to dual-wield. Knowing that some of these would be useful later on, Kaika summoned three transparent orbs of energy, and sent them flying into different places all around the ruined chapel. One orb near Marco and Holgath, one up above at the tallest standing structure in this area, and the last one being close to where Wei was. Now with that set up, Kaika decided it was time to get aggressive. Both of the energy blades she wielded began to glow with intense energy, and began to slash the air in front of her to send some waves of energy to move towards Wei. These energy waves grazed the ground below it, easily tearing through the ground as it traveled towards it's target.

When she saw the enrgey slash coming, Wei ran to her left, firing the last three shots from Mercy and the full six from Redemption. .357 Magnum ammo was a powerful ammo type, and Wei was not one to miss her shots, even if she was running, and all nine would do some major damage to Kaika's energy shield/dome thing.

The Emperor saw this strange take down hard to pressure seeing his own sword turn on him and pointed towards his chest. He only smirked feeling his power increase by the masses feeling the armor shift to a more demonic forms with his wings turning to pure flames. His height grew by two extra inches making Hume a giant and gripped his attacker and threw him away from him. He gripped his own and chuckled sinisterly with darkness now emitting off of him. This darkness would make any creature shudder knowing that the Emperor has shown his true colors.

Kaika's energy shield faded away after taking the hits of the bullets, and sent a few more energy waves at Wei by swinging her blades at her direction. After that, Kaika began to close in the distance between herself and her opponent, running in a curved path around Wei. As she was closing in, she swung her blades in horizontal and vertical directions to send horizontal and vertical energy waves at Wei. Pretty soon...I might have to really step things up...this is going nowhere. she thought as so far it was all like a stalemate. Even though it wasn't so important in her fight as of now, Kaika could sense the dark energy coming from the one of the other two presences near the ruined chapel.

Seeing the energy slashes coming at her, Wei ducked and weaved out of the way, barely dodging a few of them. Wei had to block a few with Redemption in it's sword form, as Wei rushed forward, slashing diagonally with Redemption at the Soul-Bender.

Marco didn't even flinch as the man changed, putting away Stilos and pulling out more throwing knives, running around the man at high speeds he threw twenty of his throwing knives all of them coming within millimeters of the man but none actually touching him. He stopped and grabbed Stilos' grip, all 22 knives lifting off the ground and launching blade first at the man from all angles, all aiming for any gaps in the armour of the larger man.

The Emperor saw this attack before hand and smirked under his demonic helmet and flew into the air dodging the attack from angles busting through the swords from above and floated in the air. He summoned fire from his hand but didn't throw but instead he obsorbed it making his body glow with a firey hue. He moved his hand to the side summoning large pillars of fire hoping he would at least damage the foe. At the moment he hadn't realized that some of the swords had pierced his armor but hadn't really penatrated his skin. He floated there taking out the swords one after the other feeling more angered that this enemy will not give up. He felt that this small engagement was going to be longer than he had expected.

Kaika managed to block the slashes from Wei with one of her blades, and then used the other blade in a swift counter attack right after the block. After the counterattack, she backflipped away for cautionary reasons, and pointed one of the blades towards Wei. This energy blade began to glow in a bright pink color, as if she were charging some kind of magic attack.

her attacked blocked, Wei tried to press her advantage, but jumped back when the other blade came at her for a counter attack. Seeing her opponent jump back, Wei brought Mercy to bear, and activated her Deadeye ability, everything slowing down, and allowed Wei to line up three shots and fire them in quick order. one for Kaika's head, another for her chest and the third for the glowing sword in the Soul-bender's hands.

Marco dodged, moving between the pillars while still controlling the throwing knives with both hands, to those fast enough to see him it looked like he was conducting an orchestra, deploying the rest of the knives so all 40 were silently flying around. they flew like a flock of birds, swooping around then at the man, any that didn't hit coming around to strike over and over again, any he pulled out quickly rejoining the 'flock'. Looking down at where Marco was it looked like an invisible war was going on, random patches of dust and dirt kicking up all over the place including in the air as Marco moved.

The Emperor floated there as the knives came into contact with his armor but when the knives came close they just melted into blobs of metal, "You think you can hurt me with your knives?! Ha!!" he said moving his hand to summon more and more fire pillars but this time at a much faster rate than normal feeling his anger only rise more and more as this fight dragged on.

Kaika didn't see this coming and had to cancel the blade's charge to block the bullets. She barely did so, but one bullet grazed her leg and made one of her blades fade away. Knowing that her "Partial mode" wasn't doing as much, Kaika focused her energy on one of the transparent energy orbs that was hidden up above on the towering wall of the chapel ruins, and warped herself up to that high point. Once she was there, she put her two fingers on the bandaging around her left thigh, and began to focus energy into her body.

Seeing her target disappear wasn't anything new, as Jack would do that all the damn time when they sparred, so all Wei had to do was look around, and there the Soul-Bender was, on top of the remains of a chapel. Well, bullets could still reach, and Wei lined up another three shots with Mercy, these three to finish the spin. In three quick shots,the lead was sent down range, all three aimed for center mass.

Marco kept it up till all the knives had melted, still dodging he now moved the metal as a liquid, upping the magnetic forces on the metal to form in into a solid form, the liquid now a long thin spear, already melted and held together by magnetism he knew that this one would do damage and hoped that the man would be arrogant enough to take it like he did the knives.

(i just realized how lucky it is i limited Marco's magnetism.)

{I realized that this battle is going to be long concerning the type of agility your fighter has over mine and the types of abilities your character has}

The Emperor saw a rather thin spear aimed straight for him and his anger only rose further almost to the point of ultimate rage as he body [not including the armor] started to take the forms of a demon with his yelling becoming a roar. He roared loudly over the entire battle field causing a shock wave that blew a few walls to blow over. This was nearly the point of ultimate rage and knew that the firey hue took heat forms of a valcano and his emotions were about to explode like one with his fire wings and attachments increasing in length, "You'll understand the true power of my rage!" he said with a demonic tone and voice balling his right hand that had the slightly spruced up shield.

Please...please hurry up! Kaika chanted in her head as she was charging as much energy as she can. Taking notice that she was being shot at again, and that the other fight going on happened to break apart the structure she was standing on, she had no other choice. Kaika decided to take a risk, and fall off of the tall structure. Luckily, her charge time was all complete by then, and her body was being surrounded by a very bright aura. Once the aura disappeared, Kaika appeared slightly different from before, donning a new outfit that fits her kind of powers. Now that she was in her "Full Mode," Kaika summoned to her hand a wing-shaped golden sword, the Wing of Lucem, and it gave off a similar feeling to that of an angel. Before she would make her hasty landing, her sword was swung in the air to let go a gigantic energy wave towards Wei, appearing as if the energy wave was 3 stories tall and 10 m wide. Once that was done, Kaika landed on the ground softly on her feet, and soon a magic crest appeared in front of her. It was pretty obvious that she was going to cast a spell soon.

Rolling away from the energy waves Wei did, as there was no way she could take the kind of firepower. Now out of the firing line, Wei locked on to the Soul-bender, and charged forward, Redemption in hand, and slashed at Kaika.

Marco stood and looked up at the man, still completely calm "you haven't come close to singeing my cloak yet, what makes you think getting more angry will get you?" With that he did a quick gesture with his hands, the melted metal returning to the form of knives and hardening. Putting them back away he pulled out Stilos, already knowing that only Stilos and his wires could take the heat without melting, he held Stilos with the back of the blade against his forearm, getting ready for what he hoped would be the final strike.

He cackled and laughed crossing his arms with a strong sense of vistory. He landed causing a crater, "My power is strong.. You can never beat that.." he said moving towards his opponent with a devlish smirk. He knew that the weapon this man had spawn would be heat resistant to his valcanic heat levels and for this he would anticpate this assuming from other projectiles that melted against his armor. He moved towards his attacker silently and readied himself with his sword and shield ready.

Kaika only blocked the slashes with her sword, seeming to do so with no problem. Forming a small energy lance from the ground, she moves the lance upwards as another counterattack towards Wei.

Seeing the lance, Wei backflips away, landing on her feet in a less then graceful stance, before charging at kaika, this time with Mercy in sword form as well, and went in for a slash with both blades, the final result making it look somewhat like an 'X' shape.

Quickly attaching one of his wires to Stilos' grip he put his arms behind himself, turning Stilos so the leading edge of the blade was still pointed forward. He crouched low and launched, passing the mans body by inches but close enough that stilos could try to find flesh. He did this over and over again in extremely rapid succession, coming from all angles fast enough to ensure that he was relatively save from the heat. Hoping he could do enough to bring the big man down.

The way the attack works if it hits is to cause hundreds of small cuts, on their own most of them are just a pain, some hitting more important things like important veins, but the rapid infliction causing a slight lag, all the pain receptors in the body needing a couple seconds to figure out where the pain was coming from (like when you hurt yourself but don't realize it till you see it) Stilos being super sharp also means that what it cuts takes a second to divide at this speed, meaning that once the brain catches up blood will normally start to flow out of the cuts without much to stop it. Stilos' natural magnetism pulling the blood towards the wound as it makes it.

The Emperor hadn't anticipated this rather strange attack but was able to keep a distance from this male before realizing that this male was trying to find a weak point in his armor coming back and back again stabbing at The Emperor's armor. As this happened, the heat levels were so great it got even larger with the grass now turning to black ash. He looked towards male seeing the attack continuing its course and to dodge this attack The Emperor matched the speed of the attack leaning left and right dodging the blades attack before summoning pillars of fire to break what seemed like a wiring.

Kaika held out her hand and managed to manifest a single energy blade in time to block the X-shaped slash from Wei, and then backed up a bit. "Let the Spirits waver and drift in harmony...Spirits' Dance!" Kaika chanted as a foreign looking magic crest appeared in front of her. Soon, a numerous amount of pink energy orbs that seemed to have a powerful essence appeared all around Wei, surrounding her as the spirit orbs began to wildly cluster around Wei like a spiritual tornado.

"Ok, this can't be good." Wei said to herself as she brought her blades up. ready to block incoming attacks, as she saw it would be stupid to fight her way out of the pink spirit twister.

Letting go of Stilos Marco shortened his steps, increasing his speed to the point of creating after images all over the place, all of them only lasting half a second before fading and all of them about two seconds lagged behind him. The massive speed and the sharpness of both Stilos and the wire meant they visibly cut through any of the pillars of fire they passed through along with anything else, metal or not, that they touched. With all 25 feet of wire behind him Marco was creating a sort of dome around the man with his movements, his speed allowing him to avoid the heat for the most part as he continuously moved around and over the man to block of as much of his escape as possible.

The Empeor wasn't surprise but this jolt of defensive maneuvers and attacks. He soon realize this male was blocking any means for escape but with The Emperor's arrogance and power he immediately began to charge up his energy. He bent forward before unleashing his power into shockwave like fire blast blowing anything away from The Emperor.

Kaika held out her hand as she kept this pink spiritual tornado stable, the velocity of this spell increasing as time went by. Soon, Kaika lowered her hand, signalling for the spell to come it's end. The pink spiritual orbs swirling and barraging Wei would immediately stop and home in towards her at the last second. For a moment, the spell tired out Kaika a bit, but it didn't feel that bad as she regained her stance while holding her golden sword.

Seeing the vortex slow down, Wei got into a defensive stance very quickly, blocking the incoming attacks to the best of her ability without using Deadeye yet. she was able to block most of the orbs, right till the end, where she activated Deadeye, and with it all slowed down to the gray wearing gunslinger, blocked the remaining projectile orbs coming at her.

With the tornado now gone, Wei saw Kaika and charged forward, slashing with her left hand at the Soul-bender's chest

Marco took advantage of the wave of destruction, falling back and hiding. He calmly caught his breath and sat down, closing his eyes and meditating letting his mind go blank and the energies around him flow. after a few moments he opened his eyes and stood up he looked half asleep, looking around and taking a slow breath and letting everything wash over him as he finished entering his full awakening.

The Emperor stood there feeling his power overwhelm him and the power began to leak out into sudden shock waves. This was the result of his anger rising to the point of total melt down. His power was exceeding normal second form standards and for that his armor was now untouchable. This meant that if anything came into contact with his armor it would melt. He moved forward hearing another battle from across the way and decided to move his way towards the battle feeling steam and other hot particles come off of him and his armor as if he was a walking oven.

Kaika saw the sudden movement of Wei, just barely holding up her sword to block the hit that would had wounded her chest, and held out her free hand to create an small energy shield. She immediately sent this shield flying towards Wei, thinking that it would either push her away or make her move, either way it would buy Kaika some time. This has been going on for awhile, I need to end it now! Kaika thought as she quickly examined her surroundings in a quick glance, coming up with a plan of hers. "Let's see you handle this!" she taunted Wei as she jumped and aimed her sword to the ground, releasing a rather small but powerful beam. This was used to launch Kaika up 25 meters into the air. From this weird vantage point, she could see one of the other presences she could feel, the appearance of intense heat coming near. "Looks close enough..." she mumbled, slashing her sword in the air to summon 4 energy lances that seemed to be in the shape of crosses. She sent these down to the ground, well spread out, and if one were to trace the energy crosses, they would make the outline of a square that surrounded Wei and this other heat-armored figure. Soon, in that area inside the energy crosses, a very large magic crest would be seen under one's feet. "Strip away all sins and evils from the dead....Purge of Souls!!" Kaika chanted, and then touched the magic crest in front of her to release a very large beam of life energy down to the ground below. As this beam was moments away into crashing down upon Wei and this other person coming in, Kaika seemed to be struggling a little to keep this up due to the amount of energy she was using this entire fight.

Seeing the sigil form around her, Wei ran very fast to get out of the expected blast it was going to cause. Wei was surprised by the beam that came out of nowhere, but just rolled with it. loading her revolvers, Wei took cover behind a bit of crumbling wall, took aim, and fired all the .357 rounds in Mercy at Kaika, evening out her remaining ammo to 9 spins of .357 each.

Marco quickly took in all that was happening, spotting his target hiding he ran, his technique having changed to make him even faster. He ran past Wei, wires capturing her as he moved and pulling her behind him. He dragged her away from the other two before letting her go, sending her flying towards a weak wall. Readying himself Marco drew Stilos and waited for Wei to be ready.


(hope you don't mind the opponent swap, but i think that Gummi has a better character than anyone for taking on Hoef at this point.)

As The Emperor's Armor let off large amounts of steam it was beyond the point of melting but The Emperor's mana was beyond sustainable and could withstand this emense amount of heat that was now deposting in large amounts of heat and steam burning or melting anything that came into contact with the steam or heat. He knew that he could sense three other souls still in the area and with this he stood there letting his anger and thoughts wander feeling all kinds of power now releasing into the air.

The Emperor knew that this power was going to have to be let out one way or another and so he decided to build up all this extra energy and try to release it to a sustainable level to where he could fight once more. This meant that if he were to release his energy his armor would disappear turning into melted metal returning back to hell. He stood there slowly building up the energy with a orb now in view appearing in the middle of his chest armor and with this he launched the orb into the air creating a pillar of fire and rock that spiral into the sky. The Emperor roared as the power was now being released in shockwaves that would destroy any sort of object around him [walls and such].

Kaika saw that several rounds were being fired at her, and had to use her sword to block all of the bullets. Having the spell end early due to her suddenly moving, Kaika felt herself go back right into a free fall, and kept herself safe in a cloak of energy so she could try something. Again with her hand at the white bandaging, she ripped off the bandaging and grabbed a hold of what seemed to be a pink crystal. Moments before she would fall onto the ground, Kaika was once again surrounded in intense energy as she starts to transform again. Soon, the energy fades away to reveal that Kaika was still the same, but with a set of energy wings on her back and a flame symbol on her left cheek. Shielding herself from the heat with her own energy, Kaika began to get close to the over-heated figure, and slashed the air twice to send an energy wave shaped like an "X".

"The hell!?" Wei shouted as she was pulled along by a set of wires. they thankfully didn't cut her down, as she hadn't been expecting, but with her target switch, Wei looked at who she was fighting, as was surprised a bit to see a fox on two legs, but she's seem weirder stuff back home, so let it go.

Shifting both weapons into their sword forms, Wei rushed forward, slashing Mercy and Redemption in an 'X' form, hoping to deal a large amount of damage quickly.

Marco lept back, sweeping his arms forward towards Wei in an arcing motion, as if going for a hug. The thin wires making a slight whistling sound as they followed, small weights on the ends pulling them tight. Marco then quickly crossed his arms and lept over Wei, hoping to completely tie her up with the wires. If they managed to tie her up the weighted ends would tie together behind her, crossing each other as they went around her front and being held tight behind her, that is if they caught her though.

The Emperor the magical attack but that didn't stop him from moving forward then suddenly bits and pieces of his armor starts to fall off once he regained his standing after taking the brunt of that attack. He rolled his shoulder feeling more and more weight start to fall off with each passing second and he smirked because more able to move and envade attacks faster. He quickly leaped forward towards the female using his shield to at least bop her backwards slightly before he could actually using a counter move by swing his sword from the left.

Once Kaika had shifted into her "Lifestream" mode, her absolute trump card, she regained her senses to see that he was rushing towards her with his shield ready for impact. She managed to lift herself into the air using her wings, her grip to her golden sword becoming tight. As if her sword was a catalyst, it was able to generate an angelic appearing lance into the air near Kaika, and then this angelic lance immediately crashed down to the earth below with Holgath as it's target.

The wires would have wrapped, but Wei was able to get her swords in the path of the wires, pushing her swords outwards, causing the wires to wrap around her blades instead of her body. Her grip tightened ten fold with this move, as she was not about to lose her weapons.

Marco pulled the wires tight, forcing Wei to put more effort into keeping hold of the two weapons. At the same time he carefully pulled out two throwing knives and let them drop to the ground, with Stilos still in hand he used it's magnetism to bring the two knives up to the height of the woman's throat before sending them flying toward her.

Seeing both the shield and sword attack missed he quickly realized that his armor was fully melted and slowly sinking into the ground. His chainmail and clothing were his armor at this point and knew that with this weight finally off his shoulders he could move more freely. He looked seeing a sword come down towards him but this was countered due to his power being at maximum and with that he swung and fire shock wave towards the sword to knock it away.

Acting fast, she held out her hand to create a shield before she would be hit, and it dispersed soon after. During that short few moments, Kaika got herself high in the air. C'mon...think of something Kaika! she thought to herself, and then came up with a simple trick. She keeps herself in the air, drawing in all of the life energy she could use. Orbs of light were numerous and all around him, and only a single orb of light in front of her. "Boom...." she mumbled to herself with her cocky grin, pointing her sword at the orb in front of her. A beam was shot from the sword, but seemed to not go through the orb of light. The other Orbs of Light suddenly trigger from the one above, and release the same exact beam at him. Since there were many output orbs, that would actually multiply the number of beams that would be fired at him. The force of the beams altogether managed to graze the ground, sending dirt dust within a radius.

Thinking that this beam trick wasn't enough, Kaika used this chance to immediately charge in, using a leftover orb of light to transport herself down in a nick of time, and then swinging her sword relentlessly to send energy waves.

Her grip was steele, and would not let go of her swords. She yanked forward, trying to bring her blades either out of the cable, or marcos closer to her so she could kick him in the face.

The flying knives, Wei dodged by bending backwards, the blades flying right over her, cutting a few strands of her hair.

Marco allowed himself to be pulled forward, leaping into the air ready to dropkick the woman. The sudden slack on the wires leaving them free to move but not in time to really block the heady kick that was coming. Along with the kick the two throwing knives turned, flying end over end at the back of Wei's legs.

The Emperor

Having lost his armor he was all the more valunerable to other attack but before he could continue his thought he was blinded by a flash of bright light. He suddenly caught a glimpse of the female rushing him throwing what seems to be waves of energy. He reacted fast enough to dodge the first 5 but blocked the rest before lifting into the air hearing his chainmale clunk and clatter amongst his clothing. He quickly came to a stop within the sky feeling his anger only raise all the more but this time he had the right temperture to keep his clothes from melting off of him. He quickly balled his fist summoning about 5 skeleton soldiers that came out of the ground as if they were zombies. The Emperor pointed towards the oncoming female, "Make sure her death is painful," he said with an angered tone.

A cocky grin on her face, Kaika held the Wing of Lucem with her left hand and summoning an energy blade to her right. "You gotta try harder then," she spoke with a taunting expression, tossing her sword and energy blade into the air as she had a magic crest appear in front of her. "Blame your fate..." Kaika says the first part of this spell's incantation, an aura resonating from her hands, enabling her to use telekinesis to control the sword and blade that was in the air. With a flick of her wrists, the sword and blade suddenly was sent flying at the skeleton soldiers. "...set the stage of judgment! Ruination Fangs!" Kaika finishes the incantation as she began to move her hands in motions that would make the sword and blade automatically slash at the skeleton soldiers. While she was performing this spell, Kaika could feel that this "Lifestream" mode she was in was slowing chipping away pieces of her soul, making her flinch a bit in pain.

Seeing the flying kick come at her, Wei did the first thin she thought of, which was to jump backwards into a backflip, letting the wires be yanked quite hard. The knives were barley dodge, scraping by on Wei's legs, causing some shallow cuts on her legs to

Marco used his momentum to land on his hands and flip backwards away from Wei, letting the wires retract and pulling out his twin pistols and taking aim, leaping back more and firing a few times hoping to hit.

The Emperor

As the skeletons disapated into nothingness, he smirked slightly quick stepping behind the female before quick stepping once more appearing off to the side leaning against the wall. He dropped his shield as his wings remained in their firey state. He lifted his free hand summoning large strands of fire the lifted from the ground, and with this his eyes became pure flame. He balled his fist as the strands flew into the air and he did the same as well disappearing into nothingness. This wasn't the end of him though...

As he reappeared he cackled with his body wrapped in flames, he quickly roared feeling his power rise once more. This caused an abormal change in pressure as the air around him began to heat up due to the immense heat coming off his body. He lifted his sword as the flame slowly moved from his body to the sword, "Behold the true power of The Emperor of Hell!!"

He moved with swiftness behind her and came up with a strike as the power of skeletons came back to him adding more strength to the strike as well as magical power.

"...this is my choice, my fate...the role of a Pact Bearer..." Kaika said as she ignored the Lifestream's strain, the Wing of Lucem being sent straight back to her left hand. With all of the energy she has...all of the energy of the past Pact Bearers before her, her sword surrounded by the purest of energy. This was her true trump card, and she swung her fully charged sword at his flaming sword. Her eyes radiant shade of pink, letting fate decide on the outcome.

the wires no longer on her blades, Wei was able to draw them in for a better stance, before rushing Marco, her Deadeye kicking in and letting her see the bullets come at her, and dodged them like nothing, before aiming a extremely quick slash with both blades at Marco's head and chest.

Marco kept moving back, staying just out of reach while still firing. dropping throwing knives along the way every few feet, suddenly dropping both guns and pulling out Stilos, using Stilos to block one blade and focusing magnetism in his other hand to block the other one with only a cut on his hand. Reversing the magnetism he did his best to hold Wei in place while all of the throwing knives and missed bullets flew straight at her from behind.

The Emperor

As the two swords were at the point of collision The Emperor quickly saw the amped up in strength in his female opponent. He quickly increased his power but was too late for that. The two swords, light and dark, came together to form a massive explosion within the immediate area sending anything within 100 feet flying through the air. This was to be expected since the power levels of the two fighters were greatly matched. The Emperor flew backwards into four or five walls before coming to a slightly conscious state. He saw massive amount of smoke and debris cloud the area. He slowly stood to his feet slightly able to fight but couldn't do much with direct contact.

Following the explosion, she was thrown back several yards, slamming into a wall and falling to the ground. Knowing that she may be attacked suddenly, Kaika slowly got onto her feet painfully. Dammit....my soul...it's almost gone....any more usage of my Lifestream...and I'm deadbeat... she thought, her sight blurry, her hearing muffled, and her senses were jumbled up. "This...is it!" Kaika exclaimed, mustering whatever remaining energy she had. She knew this would kill her right after, but it's all or nothing. The energy wings on her back gave her a boost, helping her run. One last time, her sword covered in intense energy, she was determined to end this one way or the other. She aimed to stab the Emperor deep with her sword, and she didn't care if she would die soon after. It was terrible fate, but fate is fate.

Wei heard the various objects moving at her from behind, and thinking quickly, did a flip up, still holding her blades, so that unless Marco stopped his attack or was able to flick it upward, was going to be impaled and pierced by his own knives and bullets.

Marco lept forward, using Wei's movement to put her behind him in the air, letting her swords go as the various knives and bullets arced around him and up at her. leaving his back open but at the same time leaving little to no escape from the attacking knives and bullets.

The Emperor

As he saw the final attack come straight for him he had no choice but gather all the remaining strength he had left in his system and summon the fire he had from his sword from before implamentated onto his sword once more. He was in no condition to take another direct blow from another opponent but this was now time to think he needed to act. He leaped forward from his crater and propelled himself forward with the help of his fire induced wings and fly at great speed towards this female opponent. He quickly unleashed the power feeling the fire return to his eyes and now he was engaged with his true power. He saw the female aim for his chest and possibly his heart but he knew he couldn't counter this and so he too the stab but at the same time slammed down his sword with great strength and power towards the female's head knowing this was going to kill him in the long run. With that came another [and possibly final] explosion of fire,dirt and debris that shook the ground as if it were to be a volcanic eruption happening on the battlefield creating a massive shockwave.

It all happened so far, like her life flashing before her eyes. Kaika could tell that this explosion would be the last, and would be the end of the two. Like she was embracing her fate, Kaika smiled a bit and closed her eyes once she managed to stab him. Yet, the intense heat surrounded her, the last bits of her own soul energy and the last phases of the Lifestream leaving her body immediately after her final attack. The explosion occurred, her body being flung away at that time and landing onto the ground like a ragdoll. Her white bandaging on her leg ripped and revealed that her Spirit Shard, her soul in a crystal form, fell out of the white bandaging. Once Kaika's body was no longer inhabited by her soul or the slightest amount of life, her Spirit Shard lost it's radiance, and shattered apart into many pieces of crystals. This was the fate Kaika had chosen, and she wasn't afraid to face it.

Seeing her gamble not go in her favor, Wei activated her Deadeye, and that coupled with the shockwave of energy from a ways over, let her get through the most of the knives and bullets, but a few still hit her in non-vital areas, but she wasn't focusing on that.

Marco's back was wide open, and Wei aimed her swords at his back, hoping to end this fight here and now.

Marco hardened the armour on his back, taking the force of the hit but not the sharp edges of the blades. He was knocked forward, spinning as he fell to land painfully on his back, doing his best to use the few projectiles that did hit to slam Wei into a wall.

The Emperor

After taking the stab and then the powerful explosion, he was sent flying through multiple walls before coming to stop with his body now motionless. He tried to stand but all his power has been used and now he was useless, but after all he had done he had lost this battle but would rise to fight another. He looked towards his sword which was sticking in the ground next to him and smirked, "Satan... Is, going to be...pissed" he managed to say before his body fell cold. With that he was dead in this world but was being reborn in the next [which is hell]. His body start to dematerialize and with that he was gone with his sword gone as well.

And send her back it did, but she still had ammo left, and lining up a very quick set of shots, Wei fired the three rounds in both revolver she had, before being slammed into a wall and getting up shakily to her feet. If this went on any long, she might not make it out of this one.

Marco still had his armour hardened, blocking some of the bullets but having others hit him. turning around he drew Stilos and used his remaining energy to turn himself into a magnet for Wei. Running at her ready to kill her with Stilos even if it meant putting himself in danger, this would end now.

Wei felt the magnetic pull on Mercy and Redemption, and knowing this battle was nearing it's end, She ran forward with the pull, aiming to run Marco though the stomach and throat, while this left Wei open to an attack herself, she tried to draw some of her Aura to her chest, hoping the little bit she had left would act as a strong enough shield.

Waiting till the very last second Marco let out a large burst of magnetism, pulling anything metal towards the two at high velocity. Feeling the two swords enter his body he slashed towards Wei's head with Stilos, hoping that either the blade or the flying metal would kill the woman as he died.

She ahd killed her enemy, but the large amount of metal objects coming at them was high in volume, and with the slash aimed at her head, Wei dodged that, but not the metals pulled towards her. Impaled and pierced by multiple daggers and bullets, Wei felt her life slowly leave her, as she fell to the ground, and closed her eyes, seeing her friends once more.
