Rated M for violece, adult situations/mature themes that go with adult situations, language, and much about everything you can think of.
It is still not too late to join. If you want in, just make a character. Nothing is too bizzare, too weird, or those I have no idea how this would come into existance ones as well. You have a character, you can join.
I take no credit for the origional idea of this RP. The actual creator would be Roan. This is an RP that I felt was quite an experience, but I wanted to try and alter a few things and hopefully have it appeal to more people.

***The Prophecy***
Five thousand years ago in the realm of Skahvynlyn a horrible vision came to the highest ranking member of The Dragon’s Court. Old and wise Cawthorne had seen images of innocent humans burned alive, screaming in agony and crying “Cursed be ye dragons!” The idea was absurd, for humans and his own kind had, for centuries. while they temporarily lived in beautiful harmony with one another. Suddenly a black cloud entered his mind’s eye and the hideous façade of a malicious dragon, far larger than even the largest of ancient dragons. He came to his view, laughing cruelly. With its iridescent black scales Cawthorne new it was an evil onyx dragon, for only they would wish harm to the beings they had sought to befriend, or so he could only begin to think as his so called friend returned with a blazing vengance.

able to stand toe to toe with a dragon. Though of course no guarentees how great it would be. But if you two were to say work together, it would be a bit better.
***The Plot***
You shall play a character of just about any race in the “present” of Skahvynlyn. After news that an onyx dragon is sighted an alarm is called and dragons are preparing for the worst. You are contacted (in which way you shall decide in the RP) by The Dragon’s Court who informs you that you have been summoned to the Royal Palace. And you don’t have a choice in to come or not.
*NOTE* The Dragon’s Court would have a good reason to pick you in defeating the onyx army and saving their way of life as they all know it in Skahvynlyn, but you don't have to be on the courts side.
As well as that aside from the races, but there will be balancing with races. As in a human would be able to stand toe to claw with a dragon and still stand some sort of a chance. Course it isn't the smartest thing to do, but combining things is always a lot better.
the dragon court is named the dragon court as a dragon founded it, but I will give a listing of the races in the court.

***Rules***
1. Follow all RPA rules.
2. No godmoding. Everyone can die and be injured.
3. Use your imagination!
4. Be respective to other players.
5. Romance is definitely allowed but if you start going into what those late night movies, then pms are nice or the mods will be mad.
6. If you fight another character, I suggest some co-op posts.

Race: (go nuts my friends. as long as it is functional, go for it. a bat fish that walks on land and eats rocks would work)
Height and length: (can be practicly any size, but anything larger than 50 feet would be considered HUGE as well as illegal)

Weaknesses: (what just seems to hurt you more than usual? be it another element, or disabilities your character has. perhaps a limp?)
Carrying capacity: (how much can you hold? fly with, in general what can your race lug around?)
Appearance: (A picture, description, or both is great.)

Class: (Whatever you would like. Again, make something up if you’d like.)
Racial abilities: *this would be the strengths section as well* though some of those weak races like humans arent so weak in this. *(can you fly, inject venom, climb on ceilings through suction cups on your hands and legs? There may be overlap, so don't be discouraged if a person has about everything you can think of. its ia alright)
Special abilites and description: *limit of three* (can you lick a wound and clean it, your tears seal a nasty gash? How about alter your shape. shift forms?)((however being master over an element is not an ability that can be chosen. sure manipulating it, but it gives a drawback as well)) 1 special, 1 innate, and 1 iltimate. basicly any combination except you cant have more than one ultimate.(the ultimate must have a drawback)
Special skills: (*limit of four* **depending on if you want to add a few things in for fun, I may allow you to put in six**) (well, what are you skilled in? Lockpicking, seduction, hold down anoother races food to be polite despite you wanting to throw up? How about just a few fun things like being able to put your leg behind your head or any uniqueness in you.)

Bio: (Short and sweet or long and descriptive, it’s your choice but give us a little sum’thing.)

**remember the races are balanced, a mere human with say the high will power, and devotion to not give up. Now give them armor that can give bonus's to their abilities, like actually absorbing impacts, or having strong spikes so that they can be grapped easily.
***There is no personality section. I feel that it limits your character so I will leave it to how you react to situations that will devellop into your character. If you want it, by all means add it.
$you can add things to this CS if you feel it needed, a few things can be removed, but that really depends on what. Yeah I am asking for a lot, but I am trying to make this fun for everyone.
(I feel as I should say this, but if you do a species to different species relationship, it is not at all frowned on, but note the size difference please if there is one.)

And here is my character. hope it is a good model, I tried my best.
Name: Haid'ku Sskaleon
Age: 521
Sex: Male
Race: Ice Dragon
Height and length: Stands to 15 feet with his neck upright. Body near 10 feet long, with his tail extending an additional 7 feet. Wingspan is just shy of 26 feet.
Weight: 1, 341 lbs.
Weaknesses: Lightning, intense heat(includes being in warm areas for long durations), and a sensative right shoulder from where he was impaled by an icicle.)
Carrying capacity: 1525 lbs flying and 1632 lbs on land.
Appearance: While having a wingspan wide enough to cover his own body, they can bend in two segments, as it is an adaptation to protect themselves if injured. These are attached to his front legs at the shoulders. His wings are light blue in coloration with white cresents
scattered on the embrane. The scales are thin, but semi-translucent as ice itself with his bones visible thoughout the wings. The wings are covered in thicker scales by the ends and the bones, and become thicker with muscle as it gets near the base on his back.
His front legs are longer than his hind legs, but thinner as well. These have his semi-dextrious tri clawed didgets and thick claws that are designed for scratching through
layers of ice and rocks to build his lair. There are three small spikes on each elbow that can be used to remove excess ice from the base of his wings. The front part of each leg has five grooves that acts in reinforcing his arms as a defensive precaution. These are about a half an inch away from each other.
His hind legs, thick and when walking appear stubby due to how scales are shaped. By his hip, they are at their thickest, allowing him to hold his weight if he were to stand on his hind legs and walk. there is an indent where the back of the rest of his leg would fold back and would lie against it, making his hind legs look a a solid leg with a visible
change. His hind talons. Not for any dectruous activity besides carrying food back to his den, they have small barbs on the wide, tri clawed 'feet' for some extra grip.
Along the underbelly, his scales are a darker blue than his normal blue, but is still light blue nonetheless. while by his chest, it dips down with thick plated scales. Past his chest, his scales become softer scooping inwards where his stomach and most of his organs are. This comprises of several small and tightly packed scales that can move more freely
than most on his body. At his groin, the scales are even smaller than at his stomach, as well as being soft in a sense. A slit marks where his male organ would be concealed. Behind that is a bulge of internal organs.
While his tail is fleshy, it is needed for it's flexibility. his tail is thick as his neck, and then narrows out to the end where it gets thick again suddenly, shapped like a white spade. This is more of a blunt weapon than a cutting, but it has limited ability to impale.

Special: Blood transfusion: He can infuse his own blood as a means of healing others wounds, but his own wounds take longer to heal as a side effect.
Innate: Cold aura: His body constantly emits a aura that while controled can be warmer than his own lair, but can also gradualy freeze water if used as an attack.
Ultimate: Froststorm: pushing moisture from his own body, he can freeze the liquid and
swirl it in the air to hail at his opponents. the downfall is that this drasticly reduces
his hydration and can weaken him considerably.

Allegiance: Dragon Court
Bio: While even in his egg, he was in a cave. Early years were spent alone, feasting on
frozen food left behind from his parents. though he never did venture to to front of his
cave as he was still defenceless.
Twenty years passed, his size reflecting that of a moose in height. This is when he began to move out of his cave for the first time, his stomach indenting fiercly as it was time
for is first hunt. It went rather unsuccessful, and by grace he managed to stumble on a
trap from the humans.
His next hunt went a bit better,his ability to fly was improvingand his abiility to hunt on
his own went up as a result.
It wasn't until he was about a hundred, hundred seventy five years old when a small band of
hunters took it to themselves to try and remove a dragon, sell its parts and leave wealthy. This marked the start of the view of the human race in the dragon. they were weak beings who wanted nothing but beings fueled by greed.
Each of them were killed, their so called kingdom meet a fierce chill that night. their
queen was taken away.
Negotiations followed the next day, it was simple. He would be left in peace as well as his scales cleaned to a nice polish so they could paint a picture of him for a small statue. All in return for their queen. Almost as they just wanted to read his mind and give him what almost any dragon would be happy about.
It wasn't until the past twenty years in his life that he discovered his own abilities with
another small human girl.

Can we get a map? Are these the type of dragons who are about average size at the size of a human? Can they talk and use intelligence, etc?
You can count me in. Do you want to make this more military like with some adventure element? There will be battles and such, correct?

Age: Biologically, it was born 23 years ago. However, its cell basis replicates indefinitely, giving it biological immortality.
Sex: N/A (see species as to why)
Race: Shapeshifter
Height and length: Varies, generally wears a humanoid form of 5'3"
Weight: Varies, generally about 135 lbs.
Weaknesses: Extremely fragile, although considering it can shift completely, its bones can change shape and it can move organs at will.
Carrying capacity: Varies proportionally to weight/height of form being worn. General rule of thumb is one-half weight.
Appearance: In its true form, a vaguely humanoid blob, perfectly gray. As a 'human,' roughly 5'3" with brown hair, green eyes, and a tanned skin. Other forms will be described as I'm shown them.
Profession: Warrior
Class: Dragoon
Racial abilities: It shifts shapes. There's no real limit to what it can turn into, but it gets neither the strengths nor weaknesses of what it shifts into. It can change gender and general appearance extremely easily, things like faces, eyes, hair, and whatnot. Also it can reproduce asexually, however sexual reproduction is significantly easier.
Special abilities and description: It. Shifts. And I've listed the strengths and weaknesses of the ability in the racial one. Although I probably should explain the asexual reproduction bit anyway. It can either divide itself, creating a fully sentient clone of itself, although this causes extreme amounts of damage to the cell base it is made up of, or create smaller clones using much less energy. These clones have the same abilities of the original, and can merge back together at will. However, the smaller clones are limited in that they can't become any larger than the form they were split from, and this will almost always be the human. Last but not least, Jump, which allows it to jump extremely high. 'Extremely' being roughly 100 feet.
Allegiance: Dragon court
Bio: 'Born' as a result of some manner of magical accident, Ar'lune was discovered by a group of warriors on their way through the forest En'drask as a young child. Raised by them in the ways of the Dragoons, a group of lance-wielding warriors who at one time swore an oath of fealty to all dragons in exchange for the ability to Jump extraordinary distances, most didn't notice it would switch genders randomly until it underwent 'puberty'. Once the warriors began to notice that it was changing between male and female on a semi-regular basis, they held a meeting to decide what to do with it. It fled instead, running from the encampment before finding out what the warriors had decided.
It spent the next five years doing various odd jobs, traveling from town to town, city to city, never staying in any one place for long. During this time, it experimented with its abilities, changing forms while it was away from 'civilization', from the smallest insect to the largest dragon, once reaching a length of 75 feet, though it was unable to fly. In time, it learned to shift an extra layer of skin to cover the modesty of the others it met, colouring and texturing it to form 'clothing' when it took on a humanoid form.
Will it do, or should I change something? Or explain something?

sir hatless I see your point.. just go with the race. a off looked detail i meant to remove. will fix in a second.
Wooly I will make one tomorrow. I am no artist on paint, and having no mouse, please accept the not top notchness of it. as in expect colored blobs with labels. and dots for villages. but that is lack of ability to make one.
there will be battles don't worry. can even fight amongst yourselves but I recomend deciding a winner beforehand. But weaponry, expect it up to see the handcannon at top. An M16 would be a bit cheap to a target you have to be drunk, blind, and deaf to miss. A handcannon is like a handheld cannonball launcher strong but takes about a minute to reload since it is single fire.
The dragons are intelligent, speaking common and draconic. Though for the sake of the RP, we all know common and if you want to talk privatly to another person of the same race and surrounded by different races, then you would make note of it and then say it.
Some dragons may be human sized, but most will tower over humans. unless if you are two shack's on top of eahother in a trenchcoat, then it is different. But yes they are intelligent beings.
and not sure if I stated this, but this will be adventure with battles scattered in. course the start may be a friendly duel between soon to be comrades, but later unfold to an all out war that you have to choose your actions wisely or else you will surely die. and that is a possibility as well.

Tsunami, don't worry about having to explain things since anything that may arise could be ventured into through the IC, as well as I personally understand the sha[eshifting part. Though you would have to worry about streatch marks. and various otherthings that could happen in a different form. But I assume an injury in one form effects the rest of the form as well?
And second me if I see this right, but shifting gives no strengths or weaknesses that are added or removed. so (the way I am taking this) you could turn into a fire elemental, but someone who throws a fireball at you can burn you. same with turning into a fish and being turned into something yummy that can go onto a sandwich... naw it is good. i am quite loose with it. just don't go eating everything. (you are an extream cannibal you know that?)
you can ignore my ramblings, i get bored and write nonesense a lot.
wooly: yes you can. I am only using my ice dragon because in this orrigional run, I had an ice dragon and I know what stormy is going to make. but otherwise you would have seen something odd.
how bout a feathered raptor that has flaps for gliding? or a snake that is large enough to eat a hippo and live? But yeah, go nuts. and I bet you can make anything better map wise than I could. trust me on that.

For the first, its cells replicate infinitely and at the speed he requires them to. And they can draw back in on themselves, consuming the mass they created in order to revert to a different shape. So stretch marks won't be a problem.
For the second, yes, that's the way it would work. And I'm not entirely certain that it needs to eat anything. I could be wrong, of course, but...

you got some mad cancer my shifting friend. and I would assume you need to eat. shifting forms would take a lot of energy unless you turn into plants daily to feed yourself, doubt you will survive long without a good meal here and there.

Keep in mind, though, it's the result of a magical accident. One could simply argue that it's a construct. As for the cancer... well, it's basically a giant walking multitude of stem cells.
Although this would be a lot easier to understand if it would actually talk to me about what it is. *shrugs* Well, it'll probably talk more once we get the RP going.

thats how you get used to it I guess. Get enough into it and you seem to have a melded perspective of everything. one of yours, other from your character.
But a construct can work, and stem cells. (while I know exactly where they are, and a ton about them) they still seem yummy.
I had characters that I was wondering exactly what the heck I was doing when I made them. I can assure you that it will be singing to you soon enough.

Race: Elf (no I'm not very imaginative today)
Height and length: 5'10"
Weight: 130
Weaknesses: Being an Elf, Olthon's bones are much more brittle then a humans, and can break easily in battle if not reinforced by magic or armor. Due to exclusivly lightning based magic his magical defences (Shield spells) are fairly weak.
Carrying capacity: 180 pounds at the most, but only for a short while, closer to 120 would be a safer bet.

Class: Battle Mage
Racial abilities: Increased magical strength, ability to see over much greater distances or in more detail then other races, excellent balance.
Special abilities and description:
1 special, Specialization in Lighting based spells exclusively.
1 innate, Lightning rod, due to his affinity for lightning, electric energy is drawn to him, spells, traps, natural lighting from storms, most of it will direct itself towards his general direction. (Note to avoid confusion: does not pull Lightning directly towards him, it just gets pulls it in his general direction. It's not likely to actually hit him unless he is standing still or the intended target)
1 ultimate: Great Tempest, Olthon can channel all of his magical energy into one prolonged torrent of lighting that can be concentrated or spread out to a radius of up to 20 feet. Leaves him completely drained of energy afterwards and can even kill him if he isn't careful, so Olthon only uses it under the most extreme circumstances.
Special skills:
expertise in hafted weapons like axes or maces
(Not sure if this goes here) Uses a small round shield.
able to spot hidden things such as traps easily
Allegiance: dragon court
Bio: Olthon was born in a city protected by the Dragon Court, all his life he aspired to be a powerful warrior and stand alongside them, but that dream was cut short when his magical powers were discovered. At age 7 he was whisked away to be locked in a castle to have his abilities molded and his mind ruled by the wills of the Masters, but he never submitted to any one's will but his own, and at age 15 they grew tired of him and cast him out into the world. He spent the next several decades, honing his own skills and dedicating himself to one day becoming a part of the Dragon's Court, be it as a soldier or a member of the court. Now Olthon stands as one of the most powerful wielders of lightning in the land, and wishes for nothing more then to defend Skahvynlyn from the forces of the Onyx Dragon.

It is accepted. though you both can still make changes at will, nothing is final intil you make your first post in the Ic when it is up.
and I don't think Haid'ku will be safe with who he is with. Just wait till stormyNyte comes in, she will shoot lightning at me for the shear fun of it. but don't worry I got plans...
have fun, though I will have to figure out how the lightning rod works since you would be served up extra crispy with a side of potatoes and coleslaw. lightning generates heat, a lot of it. hope your armor holds up. (ask stormynyte's dragon for sime scales for protection.) anyways it looks good. (we got a future dragon rider)

It doesn't steer lightning directly at him, it gets pulled a in his general direction direction, he'd have to be standing stone still or be the caster's intended target for it to actually hit him.

Alright, I spent part of yesterday and today making the first post. I have a few things I want to add to it before I think of starting this. But tomorrow I will try and do a quick map. make things simpler as i have an idea gradually forming in my little head.
but sounds good hatless.
my next thing is to send out messengers to contact us all about going to the Rialtnia Mountain range. the top of it. for the dragon councel. if anyone makes an onyx character I will do something else for them. but I shall be working on enveloping characters as they join in. Less to do at once and it should be better looking on each part. (mine is about done. not sure how long since notepad is a jerk. just be prepared for lots of words everyone)

wooly, that is an impossible question to answer since roleplays are also prolonged by those who are in it. But in my opinioin, maybe about a minimum of three weeks to about a month and a half to two months. Note where having people not drop out would come into play. Though like anyone who makes an RP they want to see it get finished. which in all honesty the storyline can be short, but there are going to be things that make it longer, and interactions and all that would add to it.
As much of a recluse you can make a character, you should get someone to talk to you. maybe fight you. however that can also be cut short for story sake. which is where some problems lie with other RP's.
Dirzrahel, any character is fine. sure there is plenty of strong booze and things to hit on in this. though people may get jelous and be an angry person at you. like a kid when you hold their videogames above your head and they can't reach.
but andy could work.

luckely he can fly... that would prove bad for him and anyone who may be under him.
How about we go for a ride. a trust exercise? who know what you can see from a higher angle. you shock me, we both sorta die. And I knock you off, well a parting gift would be in order.
speaking of which, I have an idea. Haid'ku can be ridden, though a saddle of some kind would be wanted or else it is like jumping into a really cold pool when you just open it in spring. you know what I am talking about too.

Appearance: Argus is a battle scarred warrior who has fought through most of his life. He has a muscular build, but not quite there of a body builders. As mentioned before he stands at a 6'0 height weighing at 207 pounds with most of it being muscle and some of it being fat. He generally keeps his hair in a short length of a buzz cut, but he appears with a helmet most of the time. The color of his hair is a rich brown, but became dirt brown with all the dust and blood it has collected over the years. The years worn and torn at the hair and it turned dirt brown as mentioned. His eyes is also a rich brown color, but if you look deep into it you can see the fights he had fought. The eyes might bring horror or respect, but it was all the same to him...To him it was all survival.
Profession: Ice Warrior
Class: Ice Maker
Racial abilities: Will power, Human instincts, Quick reflexes, and Adaption to the environment.
Special abilites and description: Envelops weapons with ice. Basically it enhances the weapons main type like: blunt, sharp, pierce, and etc. but makes them heavier and will melt in extreme heat such as a dragon's breath. Ice Shield self explanatory. Quick Meditation, this ability lets the human into a meditation set of mind to recover himself quickly during a fight, but the drawback is that he must be completely still for about ten seconds.
Special skills: Making really bad jokes that are so bad that it is funny, Weapon ship able to use just about any weapon to a certain level of skill, He has tapped into the black smith's a little so he can make his own armor with the proper equipment, Drink lots of beer without getting drunk.
Allegiance: Dragon court, but persuaded in mid journey to the Onyx. (If that is okay.
Bio: Argus grew up in a family of war. His great grandfather was part of the military and so was his father. So in their footsteps Argus joined the militia when he was at age, but let's start all before that. When Argus was young he used to get bullied around a lot by the older kids because his father was never home too much to stand up for him. His mother was not present for many of the times, but when she was it was a lot better for him. His mother was a herbalist and knew certain herbs to able to soothe the pain. A few years later when Argus had had enough of being bullied he asked his father to teach him how to fight. At first his father was a bit hesitant on teaching his son, but after he heard his son's story he agreed to teach his son how to fight. So the days past, weeks, and months past Argus's father taught him how to fight. Now you maybe wondering why Argus's father wasn't called back to the militia, but actually he was unable to for he lost a leg in a one on one encounter with a enemy and got it chopped off. After that Argus's father retired from the militia and so goes on our story of Argus. Now as Argus learned how to fight he started to get bullied less and less because he learned how to defend himself and fight back. When Argus reached the age to join the militia he signed up immediately. He rose through the ranks quickly because of his past training with his father. On a cold winder day his subordinates decided to play a prank on him for laughs. So, when Argus went out to the out house they locked the door to his home and watched as their simple plan develop.
Argus went back to his home and ended up running into the door and causing the soldiers to burst into laughter. Argus did not hear the soldiers in their homes and continued to pound on his door in anger. As the minutes passed his body started to shiver in the freezing weather and he was on the verge of blacking out as he continued to pound on his door. He noticed that his right fist was shimmering and wasn't sure why, but he continued to pound on the door with revived anger and ferocity. The ice burst from his hand and pierced right through the door. As he opened the door his hand returned to normal and since then his soldiers have stayed quiet and quit playing pranks on him for the fear of the ice. Argus continued to summon that ice, but was never able to use his bare hands again to summon them unless he had a weapon in his hand to do it. He was not sure why or how it happened, but apparently he was one of the few who were lucky to posses such a power to be in the militia. After that he decided to train even harder and work for the dragon court to become more powerful to protect his country.
Hope that is fine not really sure where it was leading too, but I gave it a shot and it worked about better then I thought, but not as good as I wanted it to be.

Also, due to a battle long passed, she has sustained a large scar over much of the left portion of her face and upper neck. The same attack that scarred her also took much of the sight from that eye. All she is able to make out with it is vague and blurry colored shadows.

There is a large scar on the left side of her face and upper portion of her neck. Her eyes are the color of molten magma, but the left eye is clouded over and barely usable due to the attack that scarred her. Her scales are the color of smoky amethyst, and due to repeated exposure to sandstorms, burnished to a high shine. They are a menagerie of textures, ranging from small to medium scale-spikes covering her neck and elbows, to thick scale-bumps along wide ridge of her back and tail, to flat and smooth scales along her flanks, legs, and underbody. Her mighty wings attach to her body just behind her shoulders, the longest flight finger being the first digit or pointer. Before the pointer digit is a stumpy, flight thumb that is free of the leathery skin of the wing membrane and capped with a thick spiked claw. Her hind legs are longer than her front and thickly muscled for leaping and jumping. Her powerful tail is also thickly muscled and tapers toward the end. She smells faintly of sulfur and ozone.

Racial abilities: Flight, fire and lightning breath weapons, extreme resistance to heat, natural armor due to thick scales, talons that can tear through stone, vice-like jaws and teeth that can puncture all but the thickest armored hides. Special: Fearful presence: When needed, she can excrete certain pheromones that can cause fear, panic, and/or hysteria in lesser beings from a distance, causing the target(s) to flee of scatter.
Innate: Static Buildup: The immediate air around her is always either very warm or hot but when agitated or excited, she can charge her static electricity up, causing her scales to emit a soft hum. Anyone standing near to her would feel a tingle from the electrical buildup. This energy she can concentrate into a crackling bolt of lightning, shooting it at her target or targets as long as they?re concentrated in one place.
Ultimate: Electric Storm: Concentrating every bit of electrical energy at her disposal, she can release it forcefully, targeting multiple targets in multiple locations at once, much like an electric eel. This attack is 5 times more powerful than any of her other electrical attacks, but once used, she can no longer use her electrical attacks until she replenishes her power stores. This is mainly used in desperation or as a final victory strike against multiple targets.

Bio: As with all storm dragon wyrmlings, upon hatching Hysvaer and her nestmates were immidiately vying for dominance over one another within the confined safety of their mother's lair. These pint-size struggles continued for her first few weeks of life until she gained dominance over all but one other, her brother Sohym. He became her main adversary until they were forced out by their own mother in order to begin making their own way in the world.
Surviving the years following her fledge was no easy task. Having parted ways with her nestmates, she immediately took to seeking out and fighting for a territory of her own, targeting and besting lesser creatures and occasionally sent running by those of her own race or creatures that turned out to be too hard to handel. These surches and struggles continued until she finally established herself in a territory fought for and won when she passed the first century mark of life. There she remained until nature eventually persuaded her to venture out from her territory in search of a mate.
After about a year, she returned to her own territory only to find that her wyrmlinghood rival had moved in. It was apparent that time had not been kind to him. A storm dragon's life is a violent one, but a male's life is especially violent. In the past, he had always been able to force his way between her and what she had, but now, with him still healing from prior fierce battles, this was one offence she would not tollerate and she quickly dispatched him.
Once he was driven out and her ownership of the area reistablished, she settled in the lay and brood her very first clutch of eggs. Seh was proud of her accomplishments, but the biggest point of pride was, as with any new mother, her offspring. Once the wyrmlings hatched, she fussed over them day and night. Her inexperiance, however, ended up costing her dearly. All of her time not spend hunting was spent tending to her brood, leaving the borders of her turf undefended.
Unbeknownst to her, her brother had returned and was taking advantage of her unattended territory. The further he encroached, the more his jealousy over his sister's successes waxed. He was the dominate one durring their youth, but he still hadn't managed to gain and hold a territory. Without a territory, he stood no chance of attracting a mate and passing on his genes. The fact that she, his subordinant, had achieved all that he could not infuriated him.
One evening, upon returning from a lengthy hunt, she found her beloved wyrmlings slain, their bodies mangled, broken, and strewn out before the entrance of her lair. To add insult to injury, the offending eyes that glinted so manevalently in the dark hallow of stone were eyes that she knew all too well.With a blood-thirsty roar, Sohym surged forward from the mouth of the cave and attacked with avengance. He had fully recovered from his battles since their first adult encounter and he entended to drive her out for good or smite her ruin before the entrance of the lair along with her hatchlings.
The battle was fierce, even in storm dragon standards. When the dust from their mighty clash finally settled, both were down. Nearly two days came and went before the victor came to. Whether is was a blessing, a mirrable, or just plain luck, somehow Hysvaer survived. She had lost nearly all use of her left eye in t he fight and came to find that the only reason she was still alive at all was that the very blow that knocked her unconcious came at exactly the same time her jaws closed on the underside of his neck. Had it not been for that, she would not have succeeded in tearing out his throat and she wuld have been the one to die. She was victorious, but something inside had shattered. It was nothing physical, but it was as apparent to her as the scar on her face.
Over the next few years, she sought to destrow nearly everything, living or non, within her territory. The now leveled, baren waistland surrounding her lair came to be known as The Bad Lands, for nothing could survive there anymore. She became infamous for her ferocity and eventually discovered the benifits of offering one's strength and protection to those willing to pay the right price. After all, humans would give almost anything to gain power and all the advantages that come with it.

stormynyte. Haid'ku feels dwarfed. even by a dragon younger than he. but that is because of other reasons.(breed of dragon) and cant deny a scar on the neck, and that she can easily rip him to sheds if angry. well good luck with your computer. it is awquard rping on someone elses.

As for dwarfing your dragon, Spirit, believe it or not, I actually downsized her quite a bit from the original character. Lol but she's younger than the original too.

Bio:

Living below a towering sand stone Shopp in Breeji dwelled a family of five Nyxian dragons; a mother, father and three daughters. Linwe was the eldest of the daughters, proud and independent. She was looked up to by her younger sisters and beloved by her parents. The years went by Lin watching her sisters grow to beautiful dragons with their long manes of silvery blue ribbons. It wasn’t long before they were both courted and then married. After their parting Linwe’s parents both grew deathly ill from some rare incurable disease. Having to take over the shoppe and care for her dying parents was taxing but she did so for near two hundred years, do her best to provide and keep the shoppe alive. When the untimely death of her mother and father did come it was a sad decade for the young female. The shoppe was sold and Lin decided to travel in hopes of a new beginning. When she happened to come across a band of veil dancers she was immediately mystified. With pure devotion Linwe learned the art of the veil dancers, studying under that very band she came across years ago. Currently the indigo dragon is solitary, flying between dragon and human cities alike, performing for those that appreciate her tempting yet deadly skills as a human and as a dragon.

well I accept that, a veil dancer could be quite useful. (though you could totaly use nervves as a weapon. Would make sense. and if you need to explain just say gypsey magic)

Keep what Ar'lune is in mind, though. Not only is it a dragoon, it's also a shifter. So if it needs to, it can either expand significantly, or contract significantly. Or shift the upper layer of 'clothing' into something much warmer. Or add on another layer. Or a mix of the above.

Don't worry about it. Suffice to say, it's not stupid enough to walk to what could be certain death. Walking into a dragon's den uninvited for the vast majority of people... well, that's certain death. So, while it could, say, shift an additional appendage, sever it, then use it as a weapon separate from it's base cell structure, it won't, because that's not going to help it's case as something that isn't a threat. Which, considering how easily it could kill someone, is not the case.

I hadn't, Spirit, honestly. We're both going to the same place, in fact, it has considered the average movement speed for a dragon of your size and determined that you and the elf are almost certain to arrive first. Although it wishes to ask that you not attempt to freeze it, because the amount of energy it would need to change its cell mass to the point where it couldn't be frozen is obscene.

so long as you don't give a reson to, you should be fine. though deciding to just hop on his back would be problematic if you are a male and you have a small hole in the bottom of your clothes.
think sticking your tongue on a stopsign or flagppole in the middle of winter except on something that will shake to get you off. (though earn his trust and you may get a mount. which applies for everyone. except stormy. you have to figure out her way of trust if she decides to let any of you ride on her.)

Considering its clothing is - literally - a second skin, a hole is not likely to develop. At all. And anyway, it can simply make itself completely androgynous. Although, since it can also fly under its own power, and if it get get high enough can use your wingbeats to avoid having to do any actual work itself... *shrugs* Although I think it's more worried about some random human simply... appearing... before your den. It's willing to admit that you simply attacking it is less likely as a human form than, say, another dragon, however...

hmm, a human is a lot less threatening in my opinion. Though a dragon appearing in front of his home would be a nice gesture. entering is different. I am horrible at planning things out in advance since the slightest change messes it up, so might i say, surprise me. come in as a talking mouse that hides under him, or a ant in his nose.

yes those do exist in this. hence the dragon blood thing in my CS. as in that weapon is causing damage.

as much as I would want to say it is a lie, I would assume so.
seems to happen when i runa an rp. I get a bunch of people interested, (once got 14 people interested. think only one of which did a first IC post) but yeah tis a shame. I but a bit of work into this, only to have it die before it hits page two.
