A faint beeping woke Misiya from her slumber. She frowned as she extended a pale hand and hit the snooze button on her alarm clock. Once the noise stopped she lifted her head to check the time. 7:15 AM said her clock. School didn't start till 8:45 and so she had enough time. With a groan she flopped her head back onto the pillow. It had been three years since her parents website had been found out. Her parents had insisted they stay there, this was her first year at the new school. In the middle of highschool. What a wonderous time for them to decide to move. Then again, she couldn't really care. She hadn't had any real friends since they had been found out.

Due to the fact that her family had be put out on the media she had learned quickly just how fickle friendships were. She had also learned that the only people she could really trust were her family. She had seen the way they had bullied Margaret and it had made her furious. Made her wish she could grant her own wish to kick their hind quarters. She had put up with watching her siblings get taunted, teased, misused and lord could only name the rest for three years. She doubted this school could be worse.

About fifteen minutes later the beeping started again and she let out a sigh as she lifted herself up on her elbows. 7:30 AM with a sigh she pushed herself up till she was sitting on her bed. "Might as well get up now. The others should be up soon." She muttered as she looked at the mirror that covered the back of her door. She had written her own "to do" list on it in purple dry erase marker.

7:30 = Shower
7:40 = Get dressed
7:45 = Make breakfast
7:50 = Get stuff together
8:00 = Head out for school

It was a pretty simple list. The make breakfast part might have thrown some people off. However, her family, or at least her parents weren't such good cooks. Even though they liked to assume it. She just let them believe what they wanted and said she wanted to cook for breakfast. After all then she could make sure there were no egg shells in the eggs.

Misiya ran a hand through her hair that seemed to be a "rats nest"; she really did need a shower. She swung her legs over the side of her bed and stood her oversize T-shirt reaching just past her thighs. The perfect length since it didn't show off her butt. Although she was 17 she didn't really look it. Instead of her other siblings she tended to look the youngest due to her facial frame. It sometimes irritated her since Corbin was the youngest, but whatever. She shrugged and walked over to her mahogany desk grabbing the clothes she had set out last night before she had gone to bed. She then left her room and went into the shower.

She looked at her reflection quietly after she locked the door. She didn't seem to fit in to this family. She looked the most unusual. All her siblings had brown hair; easy to blend in with other humans. She instead had fire red, and not the normal red gold type of red, a bright bright vibrant red that humans could only get by dying it once a week. Pity that they had to ruin their hair and she just naturally looked like this, but oh well. Not only did her hair make her stand out, but in addition to bright hair she had unbelievably blue eyes. Her mother had said it was probably because she had more Magik than her siblings. However, that didn't comfort her any. Instead it made her even more wary.

After a few moments she stripped and turned on the shower putting it on hot. She stepped in and closed her eyes loosing herself and letting the water wash away her jittery nerves. She grabbed her shampoo and put it in her hair the smell of strawberries filling the small room and she smiled before rinsing it out and washing herself in soap with the same scent. Once done she turned off the water, reaching and grabbing an aqua towel, wrapping it around herself she stepped out onto the rug and looked at the now fogged up mirror. She opened the third drawer and pulled out her blow dryer. Her parents had organized the four drawers by age. How utterly simple.

She plugged the blow dryer in and turned it on holding it to the glass and watched as the fog dissapeared and she could see herself. She then proceeded to dry her hair. After she was done drying it she combed it down and pulled it up into a ponytail. She grabbed black eyeliner from her drawer and put it on her eyes carefully watching as it made the blue stand out more to look like aqua in a way. She placed the eyeliner back where it belonged as well as the dryer before she started to get dressed. A simple pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt then she put on her black hoodie like jacket reaching inside the pocket and smiling when she felt the mp3 player. She looked on the counter picking up her "glasses" and put them on leaving the bathroom for the next person to wake up.

Misiya then went to her room and grabbed a few things before heading to the kitchen and starting to cook. She made her usual, eggs, toast, jelly, orange juice, and water. She had the table set in a matter of minutes. Once she had the food finished she went back to her room putting on her converse and put her things in her bag then went back out and started to eat knowing the others would arrive shortly. Unless they forgot today was the first day.

"ALEEEX! You booger, bring that back right now!" Alice screamed as she sprinted after her younger brother around the house.

Just when Alice had opened her eyes from sleep, Alex had sneaked into her room, stolen Alice's iPhone, and ran out of the room, sticking out his tongue at Alice on the way. She, of course, had jumped up from bed and screamed at him to give it back. After he didn't, the female proceeded to chase her younger brother around the house - and that's what they were currently doing.

"DAD! Alex is being a freak again - he stole my phone! I'm gonna be late on the freakin' first day at the new school," groaned Alice as she weaved through the kitchen, where her dad was finishing his coffee. "Alex, give whatever you're holding back to your sister - honey I'm late. Have a good day at school!" he said as he gave her a pat on the shoulder and marched out of the house.
Well, that sure helped. Thanks, Dad. I can always count on you, she thought bitterly.

When the 16-year-old caught up to Alex, he had run into their parents' room, hidden behind mom and was begging her to tell Alice to go away. Alice glared at the young boy and turned to mom, who was putting on mascara in front of their huge vanity mirror. "He has my phone. I'm going to be late. Do you see the solution to this problem?" Alice asked sarcastically. "Alice - he just wants to play on it until you leave the house. You don't need to use it right at this moment, do you? So go get ready, and when you're about to leave, ask Alex politely to give your phone back. Now go, go, you're gonna be late," she said as she shooed Alice out of the room.

With a groan, the female trudged back to her own living space.
Wait, where's Rosa? she thought, thinking about her younger sister. Eh, whatever.
After brushing her teeth and taking a shower, Alice stepped out of her bathroom and went on to put on her clothes. Her outfit consisted of short denim shorts, a loose v-neck top, her silver necklace & bracelet, and flip-flops. She quickly brushed her hair, grabbed her bag, and marched to Alex's room.

When she arrived in his dumpster of a room, she politely asked him to give her property back to her. "Dear freak, please give me my stolen property back, or I will be forced to call 911 and report you. Then the police will come, take you back to prison - ALONE, where they will put you in a tiny, smelly cell, where you will have to pee in a hole and rot there until the rest of your life." His horror-struck face amused Alice very much, but she held her composure until he thrust the phone at her with a shaky hand. Alice burst out laughing and added, "Thank you!" on her way out.

Cooper was the last one to wake up but that was no problem for him, it usually took him a few minutes to do everything he needed. Although he was awake earlier by five minutes to try and make himself look good, which he normally does for the new day, and he had discovered an old friend Rebecca was at the school as well of course the meaning of friend lost all meaning since his family was discovered via their website but he wanted to meet Rebecca again regardless.

Getting up Cooper had his two minute shower before putting on some clothes he had already set out for himself which looked good as well. Getting changed and making sure his hair looked just right Cooper walked down the stairs .
Walking over to the table he sat down and starting eating his plate of eggs.

"Thanks Misiya that was good as usual" Cooper told her before finishing his breakfast and getting up ready to go heading outside

Somewhere after his sister's waking up but before his brother had, Corbin opened his eyes to the darkness of his room and Believe It or Not by Nickelback blaring from his iPod docked alarm clock. It was a grace to wake up to music and not talk radio, the mindless chatter designed for the mass society of America drove brunette up a wall.

Heaving a heavy sigh the youngest of the Thompson children rolled out of bed, and yanking the wooden shades masking out the morning up, he stretched. It was still strange to look out his window and see an entirely different town, the concept of having moved was still strange to Corbin even with his room being different as well. It was all the same things still; his bed, books lined up in a particular order on his shelves, his stereo, his alarm clock, all of his clothes, and all of the other random things inhabiting his room but it was the room itself that was different. It was the whole house that was different, they had moved because the cat had gotten out. Their old town found out their secret and it let to the destruction of everything. The memories outside of his family's presence were not even worth their existence in Corbin's mind anymore. He shoved the thoughts out and went to invade the bathroom instead.

Getting ready took no time at all. Taking care of toilet needs, a shower, towel drying his hair, combing it out, and brushing his teeth; throwing boxers on, dark jeans, a belt, socks, and a white polo left half unbuttoned. Corbin was halfway down the stairs to the smell of breakfast that surely Misiya had prepared when the lack of contacts occurred to him and he had to double back. Just as Corbin went back into the bathroom he noticed Cooper disappearing into his room in a towel, that was a tip of it was getting late. Pulling the farthest drawer open he dug out his contact container and went to work inserting them. As always, after placing both lenses in carefully, Corbin was met with a crystal clear view of his striking amber irises lined heavily along their rims with an almost black dark brown. The presence of that ring on each eye made them piercing and unique from his siblings' eyes, well except perhaps Misiya's brilliant blue ones.

Flicking the bathroom light off and absently smoothing his hair, Corbin went downstairs to the kitchen. Cooper had beat him to it somehow, he sat at the table eating eggs as Corbin sat down to his own plate and poked the food with his fork before digging in. Compared to his older brother he was a slow eater but compared to his sister's he was efficient enough. In fact, as Cooper stood up and thanked Misiya, Corbin was almost done himself. He lifted his fork though and after swallowing agreed, "Yeah, I can't thank you enough for cooking." He chuckled slightly, their parents were horrible cooks. "You know."

“It’s time to wake up, time to wake up!” Freya’s shrilly-sounding clock rang. “Wake up, wake up!” Freya hid her head under the pillow, groaning. “I hate mornings,” she muttered to herself as her hand searched for the sleep button. Once the button was hit, she sighed and tried to go back to sleep. She laid on her bed, head under pillow, for several seconds before she decided she shouldn’t sleep, which would likely result in a tardy, and slowly rolled out of bed to get ready for school. Half-asleep, Freya dawdled to the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was a mess: hair sticking out nearly everywhere, split ends here and there, and loose strands dangling. She picked up her hairbrush and started the painful process of making her hair at least half presentable.

“Ow, ow, ow. Ow. And….finish!” Freya smiled into the mirror, letting her hands run through her hair. “Time to get dress,” she said to herself, now awake. Once she got to her closet, she wondered what she was gonna wear: a dress or not, jeans or no, sandals or sneakers? Looking out the window, she decided it was just a little bit too windy for a dress and grabbed a T-shirt, a pair of jeans, and sneakers. She got dressed lazily; no need to rush, school was just a few minutes’ walk away. When she finished dressing, she stood in front of her mirror and smiled. “Not bad.” After making sure she got everything, Freya went downstairs and sat at the kitchen counter, right away digging at her plate that was already set for her by her mom. “Morning, Mom,” she said, taking a breather from her scrumptious breakfast. After all, who could get tired of eggs, bacon, sausage, and French toast?

“Morning, honey,” Mom called from place in the kitchen, “like your breakfast?” Freya rolled her eyes; her mom loved it when people told her that her food was delicious. “Yeah, Mom, love it,” she said, sticking the rest of the toast in her mouth. “Gonna head out for school now!” Freya half-hollered half-mumbled through her toast, picking up her backpack and heading for the door. “Okay, honey, but be careful when you go out,” her mom said as she came to the entrance hall with spatula in hand, a little hint of worry in her eyes.

“Mmm,” Freya mumbled. She opened the door and stepped outside, waving goodbye to her mom before closing the door. After she turned the corner and started walking toward the school, she muttered to herself, “It’s not like I’m too sick that I can’t even go out.”

Alice skipped down the stairs to the kitchen and walked over to the fridge. She grabbed the carton of orange juice and shut the fridge door with her foot. The glasses were in one of the top cupboards, so she had to stretch while standing on tiptoes to reach the cupboard, open it, and take out a glass - because of her height. But she was used to things being very high that she had to stand on tiptoes, so she didn't care. She usually just ignored the comments and taunts about how short she was.

After finishing the drink, she yelled up to her mom, "MOM - I'm gone!" and marched out of the house. Outside, she paused to take in the smell of the roses they had planted right next to the front door. A light breeze was playing with the bright green leaves of the trees and the sun added a very nice touch to make the weather perfect.
Perfect weather, perfect day? thought the female hopefully.

She walked down the few steps to their garage and went inside, closing the door behind her. Inside the 2-car garage was currently one black, beautiful 2010 Mustang GT (http://www.speedsportlife.com/wp-content/gallery/2010mustanggtzerin/IMG_1902.jpg) with a glass roof. Alice had named him Black Beauty - she loved him so. It had been a present for her 16th birthday from her parents that she had never even dreamed she would receive. But here it was - the car of her dreams.

She took a seat inside and tossed her bag to the passenger seat. After backing out of the driveway, she went on to follow the directions her dad had given her on how to get to the high school. It was about 15-20 minutes away from their house if driving.

Rebecca woke up with a start as her alarm clock sounded loudly "Okay that's a bit too loud" Rebecca moaned before hitting it, she knew she had to get up even thought she was still tired. Bringing up the will to get up she started to get ready for school by changing into red jeans with a light blue sweater, doing her hair and having a shower Rebecca headed downstairs where her mum was, her father had gone to do some shopping.

"Sweetie are you going to eat?" Rebecca's Mum asked, Rebecca shook her head as she picked up a Up and Go drink, chocolate flavored and one of her Mum's homebrand blueberry fat free muffins "I am going to be late so I will eat on the way, see you later" Rebecca told her before hugging her and heading outside in a rush grabbing her bike and heading down the street.

She noticed Cooper walking out of his house on the way and waved to him "Hey Cooper! Want to ride with me to school?" Rebecca asked coming to a rolling stop, they had met up over the summer and had already become friends.

"Sure, just let me grab my bike" Cooper replied, he looked at Rebecca for a moment before grabbing his own bike, it was a secret that he had a massive crush on Rebecca she was beautiful, talented and had a great personality. Snapping out of a small trance Cooper jumped onto the bike and rode to school with her.

Snooze.

Snooze.

Snooze.

Snoo--

Margaret's nostrils flared when she discovered the scent of bacon and eggs. Her dark green eyes immediately opened as she rushed out of bed. Her vision, of course, prevented her from leaving the room as she bumped into her dresser looking for her glasses. She yelped and rubbed her knee, but excitedly put on her glasses to see the world. Margaret turned off the alarm and headed towards the hallway to see everyone in the kitchen finishing or just eating their breakfast. "Ohh, save me some breakfast please!" She shouted from the second floor. She sprinted into the bathroom and made herself presentable.

She always forgot that her siblings were still in high school, so it was her duty to make sure that they were ready to go. Though, it looked like they were all ready to begin with. As she finished putting on some clothes, Margaret ran downstairs and met with everyone else in the kitchen. She grabbed a chunk of bacon and took a good bite out of it, staring at her two siblings. "Mornin'! Ready for school?" She spoke with her mouthful.

Misiya looked over at her sister finishing her food, swallowing and then standing placing her plate in the sink.
"Sis, don't talk with your mouth full. It insults my cooking." She teased with a wink before she turned completely around her hair dancing like fire about her. Her aqua eyes looked from her sister to Corbin then back to her sister.
"Don't you have to go to?" She asked tilting her head before she covered her mouth as she yawned. She really should have gone to bed sooner but her book had just been too good to put down.

Misiya bent down and picked up her back placing the strap on her right shoulder. Her aqua eyes then glanced at Corbin,
"I'll wait for you, so go get your stuff. We're running a bit late. Plus since /Cooper/ decided to ditch we may as well just go together." She said casually with a shrug of her shoulders.

Here lately she had come to dislike her brother more and more. He seemed to inflatuated with that Rebecca person. She wondered what he would say when she said that he couldn't invite her to her birthday tomorrow. Not that she cared. He didn't have to show up, would be less cooking for her. She didn't understand what was so special about her, but then again she didn't understand a lot of things.

In contrary to Cooper, she rather liked Corbin, even though he did look older while he was actually younger. He at least had the courtesy to wait or excuse himself. She began to wonder if Corbin would make friedns just as easy as Cooper. If he did it wouldn't surprise her. He was a guy after all, plus his eyes helped him to stand out from a lot of others. Plus he was a good guy.

Lastly there was Margaret, the elder sister who sometimes just didn't fit that role. Like currently when rushing out for bacon. It sometimes made her worry about Margaret more than her other siblings, but that wasn't a bad thing. She had seen the way people had treated her for being unable to cry. She had hated it, and if it ever occured again she would step in with a wrath built for an army.

"Don't forget my birthday tomorrow you two. I am cooking. I can't let mom or dad near the stove, that would be a disaster. Plus storebought tastes dreadful. I want it to be more a family party rather than invite people I just met, but yea." She said smiling slightly. She hated having her birthday right as school started. Who cared about anyone the first two days of school?

"Anyway, Corbin we're late." She reminded him as she walked over to the front door and stepped outside instantly bathed in the warm sunlight as the wind pushed the hair in her ponytail around making it dance like molten lava. Closing her eyes she lifted her face feeling the warmth dance across her skin like the breeze that combed her hair. Lowering her head she opened her eyes and adjusted her "glasses" before looking ahead seeing the schoolbuilding at about an 8 minute walk. She reached into her hoodie pocket and pulled one earphone and put it in hitting play on her MP3 and waiting a moment before "all the lovers" played it was a softer song that way if Corbin wanted to talk she could easily listen and talk back.

It had been "la-la land" for Corbin as his brother left, his two sisters chatted and he finished his breakfast. Really there wasn't much thought going on besides the task of eating and breathing. School, though it was new, was not really holding a strong presence in Corbin's mind. It would be all fake anyway, no one would see past his outer shell by either his prevention or their own stupidity. Most likely the later.

There was a chance that the young brunette would have just sat there, unintentionally starring at his plate in procrastination to the school day awaiting him, all day if the word "birthday" hasn't snapped him back to reality. It was Misiya's voice saying the word that brought momentary panic. How could have he forgotten that it was her birthday tomorrow!?

"Ah, yeah," Corbin agreed unsure of exactly what the conversation had been. For sure he got reminded it was her birthday and that just family or something. Though just as he was bothering to understand the conversation he had not been listening to Misiya announced they were late. Corbin openly groaned, throwing his head back even before getting up and depositing his dishes in the sink.

After slipping his shoes (http://media.kohls.com.edgesuite.net/is/image/kohls/687995?wid=1000&hei=1000&op_sharpen=1) on and then pulling his plain black backpack over one shoulder Corbin dropped a hand on top of Margaret's head, "Mornin and later sis." He smiled, silently saying an "I love you" in his head before followed Misiya out the door. Catching up to her with ease and even snatching up the free earbud of her's for his own ear. Even with the height difference it worked out, Corbin had little enthusiasm for a conversation as they walked to "school".

Misiya couldn't help but smile as he caught up with her and she let him take one of the earphones before she turned up the song. Knowing that she wasn't much a sociable person, she also noticed Corbin was a bit the same. Although he seemed to hate the thought of going to school even more than she did. Misiya could dread the people, but the library and learning things was like a haven that no one would ever be able to understand.

If there had been one thing Misiya had loved growing up it was probably astronomy and animal science. She had so many books in her room that her bookshelf couldn't hold them all and therefore, she had had to line a bunch along the wall of her floor. She had signed up for Animal Science and Astronomy and those were probably the only two classes she could look forward to.

Misiya's eyes grew a fraction wider as she saw the large three story school building that was probably two football fields in length. There was a large picture of a Timber wolf on the side of the building showing the schools mascot. The school was definately too big for such a small community, or at least that was what she thought. As she neared the school building she glanced over at Corbin with her aqua eyes as she reached over and took the hand closest to hers and held it trying to rid herself of the uneasiness.

"I don't like this." She whispered softly giving Corbin's hand a light squeeze before she took a deep breath and looked at the entrance seeing people gathered around hanging out in social groups that she knew she wasn't a part of. She kept a grip on Corbin's hand feeling her anxiety rise higher and higher with each step. "Sorry Corbin, I'm not trying to invade your personal space, I just. . . Well, I don't like it." She admitted as she reached up with her free hand and rubbed the back of her neck; something she always did when she was nervous.

Her aqua eyes scanned the large area in front of the building and then looked at the glass doors that were the entrance. The bricks to the school were a disgusting gray looking color that just gave off a depressing feeling. Misiya took a deep breath. Maybe she should have tried making friends like her brother had. However, she doubted that would have ended well. Knowing her own distrust in people. She already knew she stood out, and she knew Corbin's eyes, like hers stood out. Maybe it had been a bad idea to walk together?

Misiya felt her nerves go on high end and her stomach turn. She wanted to run away from the large gray and blue school and just go home. Instead of turning tail and running she bit her tongue and continued walking slowly towards the school. She began to wonder how the first day would go, after all, her last year at the other school hadn't gone so well. Neither for her, or any of her siblings.

Slowly, ever so slowly and gradually Misiya was becoming terrified. Sure she may not use those exact words for how she was feeling but that was how it look to Corbin, he could see the nerves written all over her face as they walked towards the generic school building. Of how to cure those nerves Corbin couldn't think...in fact deep under his hatred for the new school now looming before them was a fear very much the same.

She took his hand, squeezing, speaking, and trying to find comfort. The younger brother tightened his fingers around his older sister's hand. They both stood out and they both knew it, already Corbin could feel strange eyes falling on his features but it didn't matter. He pulled up short, stopping Misiya with him with his hand still clasp tight to her's. "Misiya," Corbin was standing tall, his bright amber eyes determined. "No matter what happens or who we meet all four of us will always have each other." With a smile and his free hand he set his hand on the crown of her flaming hair, "So how is it said...'hakuna matata'?"

Misiya looked at her brother from behind the fake glasses before giving him a warm and practiced smile. One that she called her split second smile. It was generally only used for family photographs. However, this seemed like a good enough occasion. She felt slightly moronic that Corbin was the one having to still her nerves when he was just as terrified. Well that and she was the older sibling.
"Hakuna Matada," she said and reached into her hoodie pocket and pulled out a second MP3 player with earphones holding it out to him carefully.

Her smile was still plastered to her face as her aqua eyes scanned around them catching the strange glances and whispers. She took the hand that was holding out the MP3 and pulled her hair over her shoulder before looking down at it. "Hey Corbin, should I dye it to a more natural color? Maybe then I wouldn't stand out so much. I mean, we both have a bit more *cough* fey *Cough* in our blood than the other two so we stand out a lot as it is, but my hair will bring more attention to you since it is such a bright color." She said lifting her aqua eyes to look up at her brother apologetically.

After a moment she took a deep breath closing her eyes and just listening to the music finding it rather relaxing. She adjusted her backpack on her shoulder to where it rested better before opening her eyes and looking at him before she blinked 'oh! MP3' she thought and held it out to him again and flashed her award winning smile as she gave his hand another tight squeeze.

"It's just the first day, they shouldn't harass us too much, so if we stick together we should be good, and the MP3 has some music so you can tune out anyone who is bothering you." She explained and tilted her head and closed her eyes giving him the first honest smile since she had started smiling. After a second she opened her eyes again and looked at him and giggled softly.

He was right, as long as they were together as a family they would be alright. But she already lost one family member to this female he was fawning over, and the other to the flowershop. The only one she could rely on Corbin right now, after all he hadn't abandoned her yet, and they were both a bit more magical than their siblings so they probably had a better connection to one another. They knew how they stood out and they knew the other needed support.

"Hrm," Corbin muttered as his sister corrected his pronunciation, smiling slightly at her warmer response. The mp3 player Misiya had offered him going unnoticed as she questioned her hair. "No, you shouldn't dye it. So what if we stand out?" He threw his eyes up at the student body a few feet in front of them and somewhat around them, eyes razor sharp. "No one should make any of us hide."

After stroking her hair slightly Corbin dropped his hand from her head and slid it into his pocket, a defiant tilt to his chin and an arrogant gleam in his eyes. Corbin was prepared for the strangers waiting for them, the question was if he was prepared to be strong enough for more than just himself. A squeeze of his hand drew his attention back to Misiya however, leaving the thought unanswered. She was holding out an mp3 player and offered a sarcastic word to lift his mood.

"Thanks," Corbin said as he took the music device. Holding it tight in one hand and his sister's in the other he threw his punk face back at the school. "We should, as much as I'd rather turn back, go or we will be late." The words were grumbled and for a moment he considered dropping his big sis's hand but decided it smarter to just lead the way. No one knew them after all and it didn't even matter what they thought or said anyway. "Common," Corbin muttered, embarrassment that only his family could identify on his face, and started off with Misiya in tow.

Alice arrived at the school in about 20 minutes. She would have normally beaten her dad's time - 20 minutes - because she drove a lot faster than him, but she'd made a wrong turn on the way. Fortunately, she'd realized her mistake quickly and backtracked her steps. There had been no other problems getting to the school.

The female parked the car in the first spot available, because she was itching to get inside and check everything out. After turning off the engine, grabbing her bag, and locking the car with the mini-remote, Alice made her way through the parking lot towards the school. She held the car keys in her hand, spinning the little chain on her forefinger out of habit.
Woooaaahh.., was her first reaction to the building. It was more than huge, with an awesome design - and, basically it looked amazing. Maybe a recent renovation? The girl wasn't sure. They'd just moved in, there hadn't been that much time to look into things in this town.

When she got to the main entrance, her gaze swept over the crowd gathered there. Average students, some good-looking guys -- until her eyes locked onto two people. First Alice thought they were a couple, then she noticed the resemblances between 'em. Family, she thought as she realized that they must be siblings. The female had red - literally red, flowing hair with aqua eyes and the male had stunning ...something eyes. Alice couldn't tell what color they exactly were from the distance, but she was certain they were some special color.

Alice approached them with a little spring in her steps and slowed down when she reached the two. "'Ello," she spoke with a smile.

Misiya looked at Corbin before she carefully let go of his hand and patted his head. She couldn't have him worrying about her when he had his own problems. Although the issue was the same it would probably be handled a bit differently between them.

"I'll be fine, I put up with it before Corbin, you don't have to treat me like something fragile. You may have it worse." She said and got on her tip toes to kiss his cheek lightly before she laced her hands together behind her back with a quick smile before her face instantly hardened her aqua eyes narrowing giving off the most unfriendly look. A frown set on her face before she pulled her other earphone out of his ear and put it back in her own. Slowly a look of pure hatred filled her face. Her game face.

Misiya couldn't remember if her brother had ever seen her "game face" but it had helped her the last few years at the other school and she bet it would probably still do the same. She knew her expression said 'fuck off or i'll kill you' since she had been told she had a killer blick at the last school. As long as people left her alone, and maybe she could keep people away from Corbin that way to.

Just as the thought ran through her mind she heard a voice and turned looking at the female her eyes narrowing a fraction more. "Hello." She said her voice like ice as she spoke and looked the girl up and down. Could she trust her? Highly unlikely, but what she could do was see what she wanted. Out of instinct she moved to where she stood between the girl and Corbin. No way was she taking the chance of anyone hurting her family. That just wasn't going to happen.

Her aqua eyes continued to glare at the girl though they did soften a fraction since she was hoping the girl wouldn't say anything stupid. Yet, her posture remained still and on guard in case she was really up to something. She should have just walked faster with Corbin, maybe then they would have made it inside the building without someone noticing them. Or at least without someone approaching them.

Misiya was a bit more protective of Corbin and Margaret than her other brother. Mainly because Corbin was more like herself, and Margaret needed someone there if people ever figured out about making wishes. It would be bad since she couldn't cry. She carefully folded her arms over her chest, both to look a bit meaner and ease her discomfort. "What do you want if I may ask." She said her voice sweet now as she plastered her award winning smile on her face. Hopefully this would get rid of the girl faster so she could get on with her life.

Freya sighed as she approached the large school. “Another year, huh?” she quietly said to herself. On the side of the building, a huge picture of a timber wolf. Hmph, a school clique isn't that much different from a wolf pack, physical features aside. The bite would still be a part of the cliques though. When she reached the main entrance, her eyes unconsciously glanced up and again, like the first day of last year, thought the school was much too big. It was three stories and, by eye, like 200-ish yards long, give or take.

The school's colors being gray and blue, they had used gray bricks with a few blue sections that stood out amongst its drab surroundings. But she liked it. It was like a dull canvas to brighten up and liven, in some ways; though, she would probably not be the painter due to her lack of talent. In fact some kids probably had the same idea as, in this little, dainty place where the sun usually shined most of the school day, there was paintings of a lot of things. She didn't know if it was an art project because it hadn't been taken down yet or because the school hadn't got to it yet or what, but it was peaceful just to sit against a tree during lunch and look at the art, which always expanded after awhile.

Because Freya was a sigher, she sighed again, just out of habit. Though the classes weren't that bad-she liked most of them-almost everything else was. It was nearing time for the first bell and more people were slowly walking in, following the crowd. When someone ran past her, pushing her to the side, she just had to roll her eyes. Was it so hard to be a little more orderly?

Freya scanned the crowd, looking for the Thompsons. The picture that had leaked was in black and white and a bit blurry, showing the mother and father, two girls with slightly lighter shades of hair than their kin, and two boys, one with slightly darker hair shade. After a minute or two of looking, and looking quite stupid for just standing there, she concluded that it would be much easier just to wait till class started and listen to the attendance call.

The only thing even a bit out of place was this girl with the strangest hair color -did she dye it like that?- and a boy that had stood there while the girl patted his head and kissed him on the cheek. Not that she cared so much about public displays of affection, but it seemed less like a little school girl crush or ones with intentions in mind and more like something...realer, maybe. Few seconds later the girl turns to face front and then, another few seconds later another girl comes by. Not that she was a gossiper or anything, but she liked listening in on people. So she set her face to casual and started walking toward them in a fashion she hope wasn't very noticeable, or stalkerish.

The other's female reaction to Alice's presence astonished her. Her 'ello' was greeted by the most iciest, cutting 'Hello', along with the other female taking a protective stance in front of the male. Alice just stood there, dumbfounded for half a second, when the girl asked what she wanted - now in a too-sweet voice with a fake smile. Only a few out of a million people could probably tell that the smile was not sincere, and Alice was lucky to be one of those few. She had amazing skills when it came to figuring out what kind of person she was dealing with. Her eyes flitted back to the guy and she took in his appearance. Good-looking, was what she thought. Her thoughts went back to the other female's reaction again.

Her first thought was that she had problems. Like, mental problems that needed to be solved by a psychologist. But when Alice gazed at her eyes and features, she lacked the twitching and constant uncomfortable-ness of the mental people. She just looked mean and protective, so everything was okay in her brain, decided Alice. Then what would be the explanation for such a reaction?

Her second thought was that she simply disliked human beings. But that seemed a bit silly, so that option was erased from her mind. All of this went through Alice's mind in a mere few seconds, when she just decided that she should speak and find out. And of course, Alice being Alice, she just couldn't say something serious and normal, like 'Hi. I'm new here. Wanna be friends?' But instead what went out of her mouth was, "Really sorry to bother you, but.. do you happen to know the way to the South Pole? Santa kinda got me the present of my dreams, and I didn't even get to say thanks..." Her expression was dead-serious, her back straight, and the only thing that gave away the fact that she was kidding was the twinkling and lively-ness of her eyes. The car keys were spun on her finger while she awaited the female's reaction.

Misiya looked at her nd just flat out scowled at her 'joke'. Any nicities that had been on her face just seconds before were gone replaced by a look that said 'Go die' with dark intentions. She then took a deep breath and let out a light giggle; fake. Not like it made a difference.

"Sorry, but no I don't. I am more a woodland person. Why don't you try finding your way there, maybe if you're lucky you won't freeze to death." She said her tone holding a joke inside of it. Although she couldn't have cared if the girl froze to death, she rather not start an all out war just yet.

Misiya raised her right hand and pushed up the unneeded glasses and gave the girl a smile. It wasn't sincere, or fake, it was just plain there for her to see, to let her know to tread carefully. Misiya wasn't the type of person to trust upon just meeting someone. She had learned that the hard way and she wasn't going to make the same mistake twice. She had seen her examine Corbin and she didn't much like it. However, who was she to say anything if he wanted to talk to her he was free to. She just wasn't going to give this girl the chance to hurt him.

Glancing over her shoulder she looked at her brother before she let out a soft sigh and turned back to the girl her hair flying around her like a fire burning everything in its path while her aqua eyes seemed to drown out the flames of her hair. This girl was just too strange. Why walk over to them? Why not anyone else in this horrid place? She didn't like it. She couldn't judge her just yet, she hadn't observed her long enough, and that was the exact problem. Misiya didn't want to instantly make enemies, but she wanted to be able to observe the people and see their intentions first.

Slowly she dropped her game face and placed her hands on her hips looking down laughing softly as her eyes looked at the boots she was wearing. Her laugh grew slightly louder before she reached up and pulled her hair out of the ponytail and let the long flaming hair free and let the wind blow it into her face making her look unrealistic. "Why talk to us first? I am sure others here would be more suitable. She stated her aqua eyes watching the female. "I hope you recieved the reaction you wanted. My name is Misiya, you are?" She questioned

She would find out what this girl wanted even if it meant dropping some of her guard. After all, she knew better than to say too much.

The dark scowl she gave Alice cut right through her, her body language and expression literally giving off the message that she wanted none of this. As if telling Alice to go murder herself or just disappear. This made Alice laugh. Her laugh was cheery, affectionate, and very contagious. Though she doubted it'd be very contagious this time. And the fake giggles didn't count.

"Ah, I see. Well, guess I'll just have to wait 'till next year," she said. Alice could tell that the other female wanted to tell her off. Really bad. But something was keeping her from doing that. Maybe the last bit of kindness she had left at the bottom of her soul? Of course, Alice was just kidding when she thought this, but it seemed like it so far. Ah-ha. She got it. The other girl couldn't figure her out. She didn't wanna tell her off just yet, surely later.

When she reached out and let her hair flow free, Alice had to raise her eyebrows. Just like fire. The hair seemed very, very appropriate. You just had to think of the right type of fire. Not the light, cozy hearth that warmed a family and kept them alive during a winter, but the fire that burned the house down and made children cry. Alice put a smirk on her face. This was just too good.

"Oh, yeah. I definitely received the reaction I preferred," she smiled a genuine smile and continued, "Why talk to you first? Well, let's see. It might be your gorgeous blazing hair, or your brother's good looks, or, better yet, your aqua eyes that seem so unrealistic but real." She placed the hand that wasn't holding the keys on her hip, saying, "Naah, I'm just kidding. It was random. I kinda just.. do things. And... I kinda wanted to touch your hair." She scrunched her nose and tilted her head, smiling. "Alice," she said, and decided to take a chance and held her hand out.

Misiya watched the female her epression still distustful. When she saw the girl stick her hand out after saying her name was Alice. She carefully took the girls hand shaking it lightly. Her aqua eyes watched her as the wing sent her hair flying. She assumed it had gotten the correct impression that it was supposed to.

"Nice to meet you Alice." She said and took a deep breath pulling her hand back and away from Alice to rub the back of her neck before she let the breath out and pulled her hair back into its ponytail lower this time so that it would rest along her left shoulder. She then pushed her glasses back up a fraction glancing through them. She had bought fake glasses since it seemed to create a barrier between her and others. Unlike Margaret and Corbin she could see quite well, sometimes she could even see things others couldn't. What? Small creatures and the magic that her family emited.

Misiya considered the glasses like a blocker, considering that nothing magical showed when she had them on. Her mother had said it was just from her having granting many wishes once they had been found out. She had told Misiya that her tears had triggered something and that was why she could see things like that didn't exist. One reason for her to never take off the glasses that made her TV like world. It was pretty amazing actually. She could pretend that the frame was the outside frame of the TV while the clear plastic was the screen that showed the movie or show, or in her case life.

She rubbed the back of her neck again and then turned to Corbin and looked over his shoulder at the large clock that was hanging above the entrance. It said they still had about fifteen minutes. Dear lord, fifteen minutes may be a bit too much time for socializing.

Misiya, after Corbin's reassurance, was now pulling the big sister act to a kind of extreme. It wasn't wrong of her to do but still Corbin wasn't a little kid anymore and it pissed him off to be treated like one. Unfortunately the chance to voice that opinion disappeared when Misiya gave the school a dreadfully fierce glare and a strangers voice piped up.

Turning his eyes to find the source Corbin found, on first impression a very pretty young woman. That thought was shot out of the water though as, in response to Misiya going all "Mother Lioness" in her face, the new girl threw out some random-ass story about Santa. She didn't even get where he lived right! If it hadn't been for the fact that Corbin was totally despising anyone associated with this school besides his own family he would have just laughed. Instead he just snorted, his entire being radiating uncaring to an extreme.

Running a hand through his hair Corbin stepped out of his sister's shadow casually. With his hands in his pockets and eyes starring off absently, but his ears listening to every word, the brunette lounged while standing near Misiya but clearly out from her "protection." He loved that she wanted to protect him and he would never stop her but he was perfectly capable of handling himself, especially at school. Even besides all that he was male and to have his little sister protecting him was a blow to macho pride.

((XD yay~no speaking, lol))

It didn't take a mind reader for her to see Corbin's pride being hurt with her actions. She bit her bottom lip lightly a sad expression coming over her face slightly as she turned away from the clock and back to the girl, Alice. Her aqua eyes had returned to their icy mask. "Sorry to cut this short, but I would like to get to class." She said her voice a bit weaker as she looked at the girl.

She then turned to Corbin giving him an apologetic expression, even though she was older, she looked younger, and she should have known better. Yet, she still had the urge to take care of him. "Sorry Corbin." Was all she said before she readjusted her bag and carefully moved past him feeling like a complete and total idiot. How could she have been that stupid? As she walked by she never raised her gaze from the ground watching her own feet as she walked.

Misiya let out a soft sigh as she pushed open the glass door and was greeted by a large area where students were hanging out. She just ignored the people and moved around them grabbing her schedule and reading the number to her classroom before she went there and set her stuff down. She then carefully sat down in her seat and stared at the desk.

Poor Corbin, I couldn't have done a stupider thing. She thought before she bit her bottom lip losing herself in her thoughts. She felt terrible, but it had been instinct. Then again, that didn't make it any better. Maybe her and Corbin didn't have so much in common? Whatever, not like that would seperate their family bond. Or at least she hoped. She took a deep breath and folded her arms on the desk before resting her head upon them. She then proceeded to bite her tongue until it bled.

What was a little pain to her when she had just made a fool of her own brother. She should probably avoid him for the rest of the day so it wouldn't happen again. She reached into her hoodie pocket and turned up her music a bit to where it drowned out any other sound trying to reach her ears. In the pit of her stomach she could feel a knot forming and she bit it down as well.

Note to self, don't talk to siblings at school. She thought as a sense of dread washed over her like a tidal wave. She knew how to handle things on her own. She couldn't be nervous and she couldn't risk anything that could potentially embarass her brothers. The potential embarassment was more her than anyone else so she would have to keep a distance between them. That meant making breakfast sooner and leaving before they ate, and possibly even forgetting about her party.

Oh well. What was a party when no one would show anyway. It was just another year that she had survived. No biggie. Sometimes she just wished she wasn't such a humiliating factor, or at least had the common sense to know when something would bother her family. She took a deep breath. Yes, she would definately have to avoid them at school, and it wouldn't hurt to cancel her party. From the reaction she had seen this morning Corbin had forgotten anyway, and she bet her other brother was the same. Her sister might be working, so it would just be simpler to forget it. Yes, definately simpler, and would take a lot less time.
