Description: Rye stands at 5' 5", just below the male average height. While not being a giant by male standards he is fit and has a sturdy build to make up for his lack of height. This likely stems from his long days spent working in the fields of his district. His prominent facial features include his hazel eyes and head of dark shaven hair. Like most people in his district, he is of African-American descent. He is also most often seen wearing his work clothes, which consist of a pair of heavy boots, a simple pair of jeans, and depending on weather, either a simple t-shirt or a jacket. Personality: Rye tends to be the quite type and spends most of his free time(which there's little of) on self-enhancing activities such as weight-training. This may also suggest that he has both a perfectionist and competitive streak as well, even if he doesn't always show them(especially the latter). Despite rarely showing it publicly, Rye is also very loyal to those close to him and would be willing to put his life on the line for any of them. This has also made him stubborn to the point of flaw, always putting his friends and family above himself regardless of the situation.
Skills and weaknesses: Rye is known to be an excellent improvisor in almost all situations; place him in a sticky spot and chances are he'll be able to find his way out. From his time in the fields he is also quite competent with all sorts of farm tools such as sickles and plows. His sturdy build is also more than just for show; due to his weight-training and physical labour Rye is also very strong and possesses a lot in the way of stamina. However, he is slow and lacks much in the way of agility. He is built as a tank essentially: He is able to deliver heavy blows and take a lot of damage, but really doesn't have much else going for him.
Background: Rye was born into a family of farmworkers. Due to the conditions of his district and having a lack of siblings, Rye spent much of his childhood helping out his parents with their work. As a result, he had little time for social interaction with many of his school friends. Just to see them outside of the work day became a rare luxury, likely molding Rye into the loyal young man he is today.
Working hard and playing little had its advantages for Rye and his family, however. By the districts standards, they were usually relatively well-fed and never had to take tessarae. This removed a huge burden from Rye's shoulders, him realizing that every year he had a relatively small chance of being reaped compared to his peers.
When Rye was sixteen he witnessed one of his close friends get reaped. Being one of his harder off friends, he knew the boy stood little chance in the arena. This stood true as he witnessed his friend be brutally slaughtered just moments after the bloodbath, something that was so moving for him that he promised himself that if a vulnerable child got reaped that he'd volunteer in their place.

Role: Tribute and victor(45th Annual Hunger Games)
Description: Kiva stands at 5' 6", just slightly shorter than her male counterpart. She is also rather slender, perhaps due to prolonged drug use. Her most distinct features, however, are her gingered hair which is usually worn up and her hazel eyes. She is also well known in the Capitol for being fairly attractive, particularly her rear end. Although not as heavy as a user as her district partner Dezna was, Kiva does enjoy injecting various types of drugs from time to time. This has only increased since returning from the games as a process of healing.
Personality: Prolonged drug use has made Kiva into a rather relaxed and laid-back individual. She was well-known for having a rather apathetic outlook on life, especially once becoming close to Dezna. This is a trait she gradually came to lose after returning from the games, however, switching to fear due to various events in the arena(she has also since then developed a rather extreme phobia of fire). Despite this, her fondness for anything shiny, or rainbow, wasn't lost. Even if it was costly in the arena she also tends to often act on the spot.
Background: Even by District 6 standards, Kiva had a relatively easy childhood. Even to this day her family remains intact, a rarity in Panem. Previous to the games she shared close bonds with them, her older sister especially who she tended to get a little mischievous with. This mischievous side of Kiva was only further cemented when she met Dezna Meraxa. Almost instantly the two became acquainted.
This acquaintance with Dezna was one that Kiva shared for a couple years, but it was truly not until both got reaped for the 45th Annual Hunger Games that it developed into anything further. While both shared a similar apathetic attitude towards most hardships, both were also driven by a will to survive for their own reasons. Naturally, both were also hormonal teenagers who quickly developed physical attraction for each other. This was only further escalated by their games stylists' outfit choices(both took their tributes down the sexy route). Arguably one of Kiva's most well-kept secrets and happiest moments of her life was her evening spent on the Capitol apartment balcony in the nude with Dezna.
Once in the arena, this physical attraction between Kiva and Dezna only grew although both knew they couldn't act on it. However, both managed to share other genuinely pleasurable times in the arena such as the infamous "Tracker Jacker" incident which is widely considered one of the highlights of the 45th games. The alliance which consisted of Kiva, Dezna, Daisy, Leon, and Hazel was being pursued by Tracker Jackers. In a last ditch attempt to stop them, Kiva set alight one of the geysers of gas that were present in the arena. This immediately began frying most of them, weakening the venom. Dezna suggested eating them, which Kiva soon complied to. Naturally, this led to a night full of hallucinations that were shared among all in the alliance at the time.
All good things come to an end, however, as Kiva soon found out the next morning after the Tracker Jacker incident. Being affected negatively by the venom, Daisy had blown up the previous night before fleeing while the others were asleep. This had the others worried and upon finding her they also ran into the career pack who easily killed the innocent girl. This inevitably led to a vicious showdown soon afterwards, where Kiva arguably became responsible for the two most gruesome deaths in Hunger Games history, having set a ruined house on fire while the tributes Blaze and Leon struggled within it.
Kiva lived out the rest of her time in the arena both disturbed and holding heavy regrets about the fire, which also resulted in severe pyrophobia which still persists to this day. This is a fear she does try to hide publically, however, with only a few of the other victors truly knowing about it. This likely stems from the fact that upon winning the games she grew distant from her family, only being able to confide in those who truly understood loss. Of course, Dezna's loss at the hands of the District 3 pair's lightning machines managed to hit her hardest. This is something she has in common with his sister, even going as far as adopting her into the Rivnay household upon returning to District 6. The two managed to bond over their shared fondness of Dezna and now share a relationship typical of that of siblings.

Role: Tribute in 46th Annual Hunger Games
Description: Paige is most well-known for her bitter no-nonsense sort of attitude. This also tends to give many people the impression she's often too serious for her own good. However, this is an attitude very much ingrained in the girl, likely stemming from her own awareness of Capitol repression. Physically, she stands at 5' 7", just a bit above the average female height. She is also a healthy average weight for her size, but is not notably physically fit as District 8 doesn't have much manual labour. It's rarely visible, but her back is also fully covered in countless scars and lacerations from her many floggings she had received. She possesses a rather unusual hairstyle, wearing much of her wavy dark hair in the front while the back is much shorter. This paired with her rather cold glare makes her into a rather striking individual. She is also a lesbian and in a relationship with a 22 year old woman, something she doesn't exactly flaunt openly about around her district.
Personality: Upon first glance, Paige tends to be bitter and unwelcoming; almost like the type you would not want to meet in a back ally at night. She also has an incredibly serious outlook on life and is very rarely found cracking any sort of joke. Naturally, this and her harsh past leads to her having a very pessimistic perspective on life as well, even despising nearly everything. Ironically, however, this attitude can sometimes lead to her greatly sympathizing with others who find themselves in unfortunate situations. Lastly, she is well-known for being quite foul mouthed, regularly making usage of rather "colourful" vocabulary.

However, despite their own focus on bringing revolution to Panem Paige's parents were caring in more ways than one. They loved their daughter and also strove to protect her, teaching her all sorts of fighting techniques for when revolution finally engulfed Panem(something her parents genuinely believed would happen in their lifetime). However, all this was short-lived when President Snow finally caught up with her parents, realizing they knew all sorts of dangerous secrets regarding both him and his regime(Many of these they had planned to pass onto Paige). One day during Paige's 14th year she returned home to an empty house. Her parents were taken by the Capitol, never to return.
Realizing this, Paige had to begin fending for herself. It was difficult, leaving her having to balance both school and work. It was this that only further had her despising Capitol control, truly beginning the transformation into an outspoken rebel. Naturally, this got her into trouble regularly with the district's Peacekeepers who didn't hesitate to carry out the designated punishment of flogging. Little did they know their efforts were futile, simply angering the girl further and having her speak up louder. This was something Snow caught onto also knowing full well who her parents had been.
Snow continued closely monitoring Paige for several years without incident, although in her 18th year the ruthless man rigged the Hunger Games Reaping against her. This was something the girl caught onto almost immediately, then striving to protect her randomly chosen district partner, Alice DeSiete, even at the cost of her own life. Naturally, the two quickly bonded over their shared hatred of the Capitol. This was something that continued even in the arena, leaving the two to essentially fend for themselves against ruthless attacks from the Gamemakers.
Despite all the Gamemakers efforts to kill her, Paige managed to defy them for two weeks. In the final days of the games while hiding out in the Cornucopia Paige soon realized what would happen if she stepped out, that the Gamemakers would only send even deadlier traps her way. This prediction proved correct with hoards of fireballs raining down on all the remaining tributes as they duked it out. Knowing she was doomed, Paige managed to use this to her advantage, tricking the last career tribute, Zakura of District 2, into confronting her. Soon the two began brawling and then at a crucial moment Paige managed to swerve both herself and the other girl directly into the path of a particularly large fireball. Using Zakura as a human shield of sorts, Paige was mortally wounded while the other girl was killed instantly. This paved the way for Alice to mercy kill her so the Capitol couldn't finish her off, fulfilling her last wish.

Personality: Valour is a very outgoing young man, displaying it through both his friendliness, and more notably, his flirtatious nature. Staying true to his origins, this stems from his deep appreciation of beauty of everything from fashion to desire of the flesh. Also having a rather egotistical and arrogant side, he does enjoy bragging about each of his achievements, although after winning the games this side of him largely dissipated. Lust and love, however, remain things he craves and stops at nothing to fulfill. WIP.

Role: Career Tribute in 48th Annual Hunger Games
Description: Ryker is a smaller boy, standing at only 5' 2". This is just one of his notable traits along with his green eyes that resemble those of his father, and his slightly messed black hair that stands out with his otherwise sharp sense of style. He is also physically fit due to his training, although not so much that he's beefy. This is perhaps explained in part by the fact that he specializes in lighter weaponry, specifically spears and lances.
Personality: Like most career tributes, Ryker is passionate about the Hunger Games. This shows in his extreme ambition to volunteer(and come back the victor) and his fierce competitiveness. Naturally, this made him appear somewhat emotionally disconnected at times, particularly as his time in the games progressed(he knew that in order to survive he couldn't allow emotion to control him). The boy is not without his soft side, however, caring deeply for his parents and friends, and actually having admiration for his father's achievements.
Background: Ryker is the son of the victor of the 22nd Annual Hunger Games, Luca Szasz. Due to this he has always known a life of luxury, having been raised within the Victor's Village with all privileges that victors and their families enjoy. However, this didn't stop him from aspiring to one day volunteer for the Hunger Games like so many children in his district do. That prompted him, with some extra aid from his father, to begin training for many years.
Over time the young Ryker grew more and more ambitious, partially out of wanting to shadow his own father. This prompted him to volunteer a few years early, hoping to make history by becoming the first direct descendant of another victor to win the games. WIP
