The Battle Begins

Ares flew quickly trying to gather information of the Goliaths that were walking towards the very place he called home. He landed about 300 meters from the preparation zone of the Democratic Syndicate's army. He breathed out seeing Ayesha fly over head knowing the plan was simple.

Protect the Democratic Syndicate.

This task was going to be difficult since Ares' new armor wasn't really fitting his style of combat, but it will have to do since there wasn't much time to think of such a thing. Ares stepped forward before leaping forward with the speed of a cheetah and ran forward to meet one of the smaller Goliaths that seemed to have charged at first sight. Ares unsheathed his twin swords and leaped into the air summoning fire to both blades, one blue, one red. These flames collided with Goliath skin and with this Ares had taken down large amounts of grunt Goliaths in mere minutes. He tried his best not to let any sort of Goliath get pass him while waiting on Ayesha to take care of the much large ones as they start to close in on him.

Suddenly behind Soldiers from the Front-Lines charge the oncoming grunt Goliaths and with this Ares was suprised they survived knowing the front-lines were destroyed hence seeing these Goliaths here. He looked forward seeing his faction collide with the other and with this he lead the Human Empire into battle thus starting the Battle at the Democratic Syndicate. From the distance catapualts with flaming balls were launched into the oncoming grunt Goliaths causing explosions that were scattered amongst the battlefield.

"Come Ayesha do something!", Ares thought in the midst of his combat with him glancing to the sky every chance he got.

The MCS landed off to the side of combat and set down Ayesha.

“Change back!” the field medic commanded the metal woman. With the flash of purple light the woman turned back to the huge machine that she was once before. The rope was lowered and Ayesha got inside. Soldiers looked at the machine with fear and confusion but had to remain on the Goliaths.

Sadly, Ayesha didn’t have time to strip. Pushing forward this was only her second time moving the MCS about.

“Jump!” With a running start the machine leaped into the air as commanded. With a push of a petal and a pull of a trigger the robot’s foot collided with the chest of a giant Goliath and a wristblade extended to stab the rock creature through the skull.

Standing on the fall corpse, Ayesha was preparing herself to attack another when her poor piloting skills led her to trip on the dead on and fall face first on the ground with a giant thud.

Ares cringed at the sight of Ayesha's MCS falling to the ground, by which caused the ground to shake slightly.

"Get up!!", he called to this clumsy woman, before confronting more grunt Goliaths.

"Ug!" the shaking in the cockpit wasn't pleasant. Working the machine on a knee a Goliath approached. With large, molten arm, it swung it like a club to hit across the MCS' shielding arms. Ayesha guided the machine to jump from kneeled position and tackle the next one. Pulling out a gun that appeared from the back of the machine, it put the business end at the temple of the Goliath and pulled the trigger. The molten fusion holding the rock man broke apart into a searing goo.

Ares and mutliple men cheered as the moral was suddenly boosted. Ares smirked and pointed one of his blades, "Charge!!!!!"

With this the human soldiers surge forward causing another clash in sides.

Two more giant Goliaths approached her, her UI scanned both of them.

Aiming her gun at the left one, her wristblade aimed at the right one. With a shot the left one fell and also broke down to its core components. The right one was impaled with the huge projectile. It stood still with shock before it tried to jerk the MCS forward by pulling on the rope. The MCS in response reeled in the blade and actually tripped the Goliath on its face. Another shake rippled though the ground for the much smaller men below.

The Elemental Battle Begins

As Ares finished up his perspective of the fight he settled his swords down into the latest Goliath Grunt that had been slained by his swords. He looked around seeing humanity go against the Goliath Grunts. This was a battle of the century. Ares wondered how he was able to defeat some many of them and yet still stand up right. Ares saw Ayesha take down Goliaths left and right, and she was becoming rather good at it. He smiled softly, but that smile disappeared when suddenly two figures approached him through a dust cloud that was formed by a dying Goliath. Ares pulled out his sword with Goliath Grunt blood splattered amongst the blades. He didn't mind that, but the battle was only beginning.

"Hey Earth.. There's our target. Looks like we came to the right place.", said the one on the left who seemed to call the other Earth. Ares thought about this for a moment knowing that the man on the right was Earth. That must mean, judging by the style [of dress] of the man on left, this man must be Fire. Ares narrowed his eyes slightly knowing that this was going to be a tough battle. He stepped forward but Fire smirked knowing full well of what's about to happen, "Woah. Calm down there tiger, we just want you to come with us slowly and peacefully or else.."

Ares gestured in defiance, "Like Hell I would leave with you beings!"

Earth sighed and summoned rock that molded onto his arms and seconds later Ares was hit in the chin by this being and was sent flying 50 feet before stopping. Ares stood to his feet wipping off the blood from his mouth knowing that punch hurt. He lunged forward at Earth hoping to take him down and with this Ares eye's became demonic. Ares leaped into the air doing a aerial spin attack towards Earth, but before Ares knew it Fire had stepped in and summoned a Heat Sword from his hand and blocked the move. Ares leaped away and backed off knowing that this battle was going to be more tougher than he thought. Ares prepared himself in a offensive stance before leaping forward doing a sweep kick towards Fire who took the kick but didn't go flying. Fire then grabbed Ares by the ankle and slammed him into the ground before throwing Ares away from him about 30 feet. Ares swords stabbed the ground a few seconds later and Ares stood to his feet coughing up blood. He looked towards Fire and unsheathed his Great Sword. He growled as his anger began to rise. Ares' eyes had small flames leak out the sides before being engulfed in flames.

Fire stepped back with a digusted look, before laughing. Suddenly Ares had appeared before Fire and did a side-ways slash, but was blocked by Fire's Heat Sword and with this the two went at it. Their swords clashed mutiple times before coming to stop with them looking each other in the eye. Suddenly Ares gripped the man on the wrist and smirked as he lifted Fire by the wrist and slammed him into ground five times before throwing him into a tree about half Kilometer away. Fire lit the forest on fire and leaped back to the battle landing with an explosion. His temper had now flared and now the two were standing neck and neck. Seconds later they leaped at each other slamming their swords causing a heat wave as well as a shock wave that shook the trees as well as set them ablaze.

With a constant supply of Goliaths, it helped give Ayesha a fair amount more training with the MCS controls. And she could now slay large Goliath time and time again.

But then the fight changed, the targets altered greatly.

Ayesha looked at them confused, the cameras of the MCS zoomed in on them, their faces clear in holo UI.

A delicate man and a very youthful woman were her opponents? She remembered a glimpse of them when trying to save the soldier while Ares fended them off...but was that really them?

They didn't give much time for her to ponder their innocence. With the combined effect of their powers, a water based hurricane was coming straight to her, wind shaped the water and pushed it at her with such speed that she couldn't react and was now spinning about, disoriented in it, and slapping against hard surfaces as it continued to travel on. It began to swallow soldiers and drown them in the watery monster.

The Battle Continues

Ares had been battling with Fire this entire time had not made a signal scratch upon the beings face. Ares roared as his power increased and with this Ares swung his foot with full strength behind it. Fire couldn't handle this attack and with this was sent flying towards the ground. The ground exploded as Fire made contact with the ground. Ares landed and found that his wings were open, but something about his wings caught his attention. They were on fire!? His wings had become pure forces of flame and with this could feel his inner anger become a reality. He stomped his foot down as Fire rose from the debris.

"You are really starting to piss me off!", said Fire as his eyes carried hatred and anger. This caused Ares to step back a few feet before suddenly being kneed in the stomach. Ares tumbled dangerous into a tree with him grunting. He pulled himself to his feet using his Great Sword as a means of leverage, before kicked once again sending Ares flying into multiple trees. Ares coughed up blood at this point. He looked over his shoulder at the battle with Ayesha and saw that she and other soldiers were engulfed by a large watery hurricane. He widen his eyes before being picked up by the throat and slammed into the Earth. Ares grunted as each slam got harder and harder. Once it subsided Ares was on the verge of passing out, but suddenly Ares gripped Fires arm looking up at him. Ares smirked before he lifted the being into the air and slammed him on the ground before getting ontop of him and slammed the sword into his chest. Ares sat there as blue blood leaked out of the man's chest. Ares breathed heavily as he stood to his feet as blue blood spirtted onto his face. He looked towards Earth with his eyes narrowed.

"Like I said.. I'm never going with you beings if its the last thing on my bucket list!", said Ares as he leaped towards Earth and swung his blade.

The violent hurricane ended suddenly, the water falling in each direction and the MCS crashed to the ground.

Air skipped closer while Water noticed that Fire had been killed.

Using his power, he raised a hand at Ares and created a large globe of water over the man's head, staring to drown him. With a whip of his long hair, he looked over to his Earthen brother to take advantage of the killer's vulnerability.

With an upbeat smile, Air waved her hands and with her powers threw the MCS and Ayesha a hundred feet in the air, the MCS struggled to gain center. With gun in had she struggled to aim, everything kept shaking and turning. The AI helped adjust to the constant variables and with a pull of the trigger she shot the girl just enough to scrape her side, not wanting to kill her.

In pain Air held her side and fell to the ground, the large bullet left a painful burn that pulled her focus.

In the midst of Ares' strike, he was suddenly gripped by a watery prison. He struggled to breath, but something had to be done about this. Ares stopped struggling and ignited his eyes and mouth to heat up the water to steam and seconds later Ares dropped to his knees coughing. Ares looked over to his left seeing the man who had done this to him. Judging from his power, that was Water. He narrowed his eyes before suddenly getting kicked in the chest by Earth.

Ares was sent flying through the air when suddenly Earth slammed his right elbow into Ares' stomach causing him to cough out blood and with this Ares came into contact with the ground seconds later. Ares laid there for a moment before suddenly standing to his feet, but Earth was already there and so Earth had threw earth like punches every-where on Ares body before ending the barrage with a right hook to the left cheek sending Ares flying into a group of trees. Once Ares came to a stop, he had a hard time trying to stand as he looked towards Earth as he leaped towards him.

With a flip, the large machine landed on bent legs. With Ayesha directing, she aimed her gun at Earth. Water conjured water below the MCS and pulled it powerfully, the Robot fired the shot, but it landed far from the Earth Goliath humanoid and fell on its back.

The constant shaking was disorienting to Ayesha and she had to clutch her head for a moment. Water moved next to Air who was bleeding a bit. She could actually die from blood loss if this battle wasn't ended quickly. They already lost a sibling.

Seeing Ares' attack Earth, Water now conjured a large gush of water to push the horned man away while he was still leaping mid air.

"Earth, Air is in danger to die. Either finish this now or I leave with her."

Ares was sent flying by a large amount of water and landed amongst some trees.

Earth looked over his shoulder, "We will retreat for now." Seconds later Earth leaped away as he grunted with displeasure.

Ares slowly stood to his feet as he saw the Earth man retreat with the other two knowing that the battle was far from over. He fell to one knee as blood dripped from several places. He was on the verge of collapsing and with this he fell over onto the ground with a thud knowing that he had been defeated.

Earth looked at Ares as he saw him fall, and with this he smirked as landed next to Water, "Let us go!" Earth turned his back to the Human Race and leaped onto his Goliath and with this the two turned and walked back to their origination. All the Goliaths and Goliath Grunts that weren't dead retreated. Earth waited for Air and Water to follow in behind.

Water picked up Air and she was shivering now in his hold. With her cradled he glared at Ares and with one more will of his power, sent a large wave of water to send him crashing against tress in the forest repeatedly as the ares was pushed down forest.

Ares weak body was slammed from trunk to trunk, carried off in the wave.

He used water waves to carry himself away with speed.

Ayesha got out of the cockpit as the MCS was still on its back. Running as fast as she could she began to rush through the now wet forest lands.

"ARES!"

Ares had suffered constant blows this battle and with this he hadn't realized that he was carried away and slammed against multiple tree trunks before coming to stop upon some rocks. His armor teared and destroyed, with blood leaking from his body.

He reached for the sky as he tried his best to call for Ayesha. He couldn't due to his loss of blood as well as strength. He couldn't help but lay there and hope she could find him. 'Are these my last moments..?', Ares thought as he lossed consciousness once more.

Ayesha kept running, each step of her boots squishing the moss, mud and grass below her. She had to leap over fallen tress, and crush branches. The Field Medic was accelerated at her quickest pace, eyes scanning. The MCS, in human form, was soon following but needed to catch up.

When she found Ares she instantly opened her backpack, the MCS caught up and with instruction began to strip Ares. She was quickly bandaging the Demon...there was so much blood. She had to keep focus.

"Don't focus on that now...Ares" she was sweating while wrapping the wraps up his chest. The MCS looked down at him without much.

Ten minutes passed and the Field Medic was able to wrap up most of Ares body. The MCS carried Ares out of the forest, the wraps were spotted with blood. His broken armor was left in the forest, it could be retrieved later.

With her greater speed, the MCS charged back into the castle and set the Ares on a bed in the medical room, on his side due to his horns.. People looked at the robot woman with great confusion.

After about ten minutes Ares felt himself being set down upon a comfortable bed.

Ares looked around as he felt his body ach in pain and with this he coughed out blood. He looked towards the MCS with a smile, "Thank... You...." Ares slipped into coma and was unable to awaken from this coma.

The MCS had to run back and gather Ayesha to catch her up. Again shouting out everyone from the room, she began to put fluids in Ares' system laced with herbs to help healing. She also burned incense to help stimulate his body for an even better recovery.

Ayesha took the best care of him she could the following hours till he would wake up. She was exhausted.

Second Death

Ares silently floated through darkness unaware of where he truely was. Unable to understand that there was nothing going on around him. Like time and space had never existed. Until Ares suddenly landed upon a field that had nice green grass swaying as the wind blows gently across Ares' skin. He wasn't sure where he was until suddenly he was greeted by some being that was calling his name from the far. He looked over his shoulder and saw that there was a butterfly floating amongst the grass. It was large in scale, but none the matter. This being spoke to him softly enough, but load enough for him to hear, "You my boy are needed not of this realm, but another that is far beyond your own self bringings. There is a female waiting for you there beyond these clouds.."

Ares looked rather confused, "What do you mean?"

The butterfly had not answered him, but instead continued to speak, "You are the chosen Aeorien. The one who shall save this world from a much greater evil.."

Ares stepped forward, but before he could speak he was suddenly lifted in the air and flung into the sky. With him looking down at the world that he came to know of was suddenly becoming further and further away until suddenly light blared into his eyes. He looked towards the light and reached for it..

Suddenly Ares' eyes snatched open with him looking up upon the ceiling. He had suffered major damage to his body, and he himself was suprised that he had lived this long. He looked around to find Ayesha sitting upon his bed side. "A-Ayesha... Is the castle.... Alright?", said Ares as he tried to reach for the nearest window, but didn't have the strength or will to do this motion. He laid there hoping the castle wasn't damaged.

"Thank lord.. But what are we to do next? I'm bed-ridden and i'm not sure if i'll be ready for when they come next time.."

Ares thought back to the butterfly and what it said. Ares couldn't help but wonder what an Aeorien was. Ares looked back towards Ayesha coming to a realization, "You... didn't call me 'Sir', but instead you called me by my first name.."

“I’ll have to think of something…Just try to rest” Ayesha tried to reassure Ares. She pulled herself off the side of the bed and looked at the ruined armor in a corner of the room. Ares was going to have to get a new set of equipment as well. The Demo spoke to her again and she turned her head to listen.

“My mistake...” she didn’t give him eye contact.

Ares looked as he was shot down by Ayesha.

"My mistake..."

Those two words rang within his head, and so he couldn't help but feel anguish that she had begun to accept him not as a leader, but as an equal individual. Ares closed his eyes and tried to rest, but he couldn't help but feel even more emotionally depressed as he laid there staring at the ceiling.

Ayesha instructed the MCS to watch Ares. She needed to get goods to take care of the Demon.

Walking through syndicate grounds, with an hour's time she was able to buy raw ingredients and have help carrying them back. But she kept the assistants outside, not wanting them to see Ares as he was. His crippled state would ruin his reputation and the people needed someone strong to look up to.

Ayesha brought them inside, setting them by the door.

Slowly, she approached Ares.

"I am going to be feeding you till you recover. Is there anything you're allergic to?" The Field Medic asked clinically.

Ayesha nodded.

"I'll be back soon then" Without adding more she left with the ingredients, leaving the detached company of the MCS.

An hour passed and she returned with a large pot of steaming food. Ares could smell the meat, it was quite delicious. Upon closer inspection he could see it was beef stew.

"I do not know how much you can eat, especially as wounded as you are..." she trailed softy. "I hope this will be enough, sir" she sat now beside Ares and looked him in the eyes while she raised some of the contents to Ares' lips tenderly.

"In the morning, for now MCS can protect us..." she stood up and turned to the machine woman. "Keep an eye out for any Goliathas. Scout within a mile radius hourly" The machine woman nodded and walked out the medical room.

Ayesha sighed and walked away from Ares' bed and to another one next to him. She began taking off her outer armor, gently setting it on the ground.

"I have to keep an eye on you, I don't know how your body will behave during the night" the Field Medic was saying this more to herself than the Rogue Leader. The sounds of unbuckling and shuffling could be heard.

Ares looked away unsure of what to say any more.. Ares could have known that something wasn't right with the Syndicate ever since the Goliaths appeared and those four appearing as well. Ares tried to wrap his head around that fact and began to draw conclusions. He was going to make himself useful by using his head.

"Ayesha.. Something was off about those four elemental beings appearing before the Syndicate in a full on bull rush.. It feels as if they were looking for something or studying something. Though the death of the fire one had set them on edge leaving them with only three. However, due to this, they retreated even though they could of easily defeated us without a single drop of sweat.. That has to mean something.."

Ares tried to wonder what sort of intentions were meant for those beings to appear on such short notice. Ares looked towards Ayesha noticing that she was mounting a medical bed, and with this he sighed knowing something was certainly wrong with them appearing..

"I see.. But that doesn't really pertain to what i'm talking about.. They just appeared out of nowhere without warning and started to attack without any sort of moral. It's strange.. Could there be a great force at work? The Goliaths have perfected humanoid transformation, and with that if they are able to create humanoid elemental beings that means that there is something bigger going on.."

Minkasha
04-08-2014, 02:16 PM
Ayesha was quiet for a long time.

"What if...I can't believe the thought crossed my mind but...If there are Human Goliaths now, maybe they could have a society or city or soon develop one..." The Field Medic shifted in her bed to look at Ares.

"Such...people...you wouldn't have to try and fit in, pretend to be something you're not."

Dire Hoef
04-12-2014, 06:09 PM
Ares remained still hearing her words. These felt like pillows being smacked brutally hard in his face.

"Have a society? A city? Impossible. They are primitive beings who only thrive on the natural resources of this world.. Hence the fact that they resemble three of the four elements we have on this Earth. Trying to be who I am not? It is not like I have a choice in the matter.. I was born here for a reason Ayesha, and nothing is going to change that fact.."

Minkasha
04-12-2014, 06:59 PM
"But how do we know for certain? If these Huminoid versions are new...how do we really know if they have culture or not? Their clothing seemed rather exotic. If they were so basic as we see them, wouldn't they have been nude?" Ayesha sighed. "While I can't over look the larger Goliathas...there could be a future with the Humanoid ones" she knew she sounded crazy, but at this point, anything was possible.

Dire Hoef
04-12-2014, 07:02 PM
Ares finally looked towards Ayesha starting to consider that fact.

"Right.. Though it is hard to imagine that these creatures would have been able to produce humanoid beings of their blood. That would mean that they would have to find some way to get a human....."

Suddenly something it Ares' mind and with this widened his eyes, "We didn't see anybody within the sea-side villages right? If not then they might have taken them and used them for biological research.."

Minkasha
04-13-2014, 03:26 AM
Ayesha sighed again.

"We really don't know" She paused. "I worry that if they continue to attack the Syndicate like they have, we'll lose. If a peace could be made between Humanoid Goliaths and us...I could live with this. It doesn't have to lead to genocide for either group"

Ayesha finally broke away eye contact by shifting in her own bed. Looking up at the ceiling she was experiencing a mixture of irritation and worry.

"So you just happen to know of these people that didn't exist before? If you have anything else you know-" she turned her head, glaring at him. "Share it now, I don't want to see you almost die again when you clearly know more about what's going on and who they are than the rest of us" Ayesha finally rolled over to face away from Ares.

They were brought here by a dimensional machine that was supposedly able to tear holes in the fabric and reality and travel across planes into the next. However, a malfunction came to this machine causing it to melt down and sink the lab that it was to the bottom of the ocean. A shift was created at the bottom of the sea, that glow we saw before. That was the shifting opening up.."

Ares took a minute to let that sink in before speaking forward once more, "I have these dreams of another world.. A world in which my mother.. My father.. Are both there laughing and having a joyus time, though beyond that scene is a world filled with elemental creatures.. These are assumed were the Goliaths, and so that is all I got from the dream.."

Seeing the still feeble Ares, she began to focus on her morning tasks while getting dressed. Having more stew made, she cherished its protein, the meat would help him heal. But first she waited for him to wake on his own before she fed him healing and pain killing herbs before she started to feed him.

Leaving his side, she had to discover what she could do on her own until Ares was back on his feet. What was most important to know was if the syndicate was going to be attacked again soon. Speaking with the mayor may be advisable, perhaps others could find the MCSs and use them like she had? That would turn the tide of battle quickly...

Deciding to speak with the mayor first, she approached his office.

The Mayor sat quietly within his office taking into account of the things that had happened yesterday. The war has become worst than he realized. He narrowed his eyes knowing that something was needed to be done, but the President would have to abided by his notion [in which he wasn't proud]. He stood to his feet as he overlooked few documents detailing the reports of the damage that the ranks took during the entire confrontation. He couldn't help but feel frustrated that his own army had been nothing but futile ants to those hulking creatures. He stepped around his desk and paced back and forth wondering what sort of action he was willing to take. Could it mean sending the demon child back into harms way? He heard that he had been mortally wounded in battle and was unable to proceed with any further operations up until he was back on his feet. He wondered this development as he turned back to his desk and lifted up a document detailing such event to occur.

"The Rosemary Document," The Mayor said as he eyed the folder intently knowing this was going to mean life or death. He shook his head and threw the folder onto the desk before moving back and sitting down in his chair leaning back going over several different notions and ideas that might work out for his city in the long run..

"Do something that a Human can't do..." she commanded the robot woman. The MCS looked over to Ayesha before she continued to turn her head and did a complete 360 turn of her neck. It was unsightly, the MCS stood still waiting for another command, the folds of the skin around her neck fell back with her head facing forward again. "No... can you display your robotic appearance without becoming the large shape?"

The MCS closed an eye and from the other came a projectile image of her robotic schematics. It was detailed, of Human height and three dimensional so it could be approached from any angle to look at.

He held his neck knowing that pained him too knowing it was hard to watch, but suddenly that moment ended with the machine woman showing him the schematic of what this mechanical woman was really made up. He stepped forward as he stared at the schematic unaware of what reality this machine hold.

The Mayor drew his attention away from the schematic and looked towards the Tiller Family Member with a serious look before speaking;

"Where on earth did you find such a machine? I thought these machines were destroyed long ego. Though I have heard only stories about these machine still existing amongst this realm of reality. The Mayor stepped behind his desk, sitting down upon his chair. He looked towards the Tiller Family member and sighed before speaking;

"Do what you must to obtain these machines. I wreckon that the demon is not joining you for this operation. For now take about 15 other men with you as well as other field-medics. The sun was high in the sky as different men and women stand around a strange woman. Most of the men look at each other knowing that this was the woman that had went with the demon on the mission behind enemy lines. They heard that her and the demon were the only ones that made it back alive. Suddenly the female commander spoke returning most of the men to reality and with this, the one with the most skill stepped forward from the group. His name was to be Avion Kalypso. Avion had some confrontations with the Tiller Family in recent years, but he had never expected such a family to rise to commander status. Avion thought of this before speaking;

"There are several more just like this machine, capable fighting the Goliaths and saving our people" She nodded to the MCS and the projection vanished, eyes blinking to readjust visual sensors. Return to the Front Lines

The travel had begun for our faithful heroes that dare venture out to save their own kind. It was made quite clear that their enemy has become more powerful and with this as disable our prime hero in this endeavor, but with this disablement light has been shined down upon the other hero who seems to take the position of captain now. She and her soldiers venture off to the front-lines where her and the other hero had first encountered the powerful enemy. They have traveled the front-lines to take the same route her and the other hero had taken to get the machine known as MCS. Now we return to their arrival at the front-lines in which is littered with death and destruction. Explosions combust within the distance. A Centurion, who seemed fixated on the battle before him, rushed over towards the arriving group wondering if they were reinforcement.

The Centurion rushed towards the group that just arrived cringing at the sound of men and women yelling amongst each other orders and such that would be pinned against the Goliaths that were endlessly arriving. The Centurion wasn't sure if this the reinforcements he was looking for, but he could use any help that was really necessary to aid in this war against an impossible enemy. The Centurion arrived at the group as they were pulling and talked towards the moca woman that was leading hte group;

"Are you the leader of this group? If so, are your reinforcements sent by the state?"

But the mission was to get them first, and she could not spare a man or woman to help before this key objective was done. "For now we pass through" she looked at her subordinates "Dismount! Surely we are low on projectiles and our turrets will not hold the Goliaths off for very long. We are down 500 men and women at this moment in time and it will be a miracle if we get out of this alive!"

As the Centurion spoke the men and women of Ayesha's group dismounted and packed up their gear that was upon the carts they had carried to the Front Lines and with this waited further orders from their moca colored leader.

The pressures of leadership were weighing on Ayesha. As a Field Medic she didn’t want to leave any soldier to their death. But she clearly understood that was what she’d be doing if she didn’t offer any aid.

With hesitation, she looked over to the MCS and waved her over. She whispered into the MCS’ ear and this became a small dialogue of inaudible words and nods from the light skinned woman. Finally the MCS stepped away from Ayesha and the Field Medic looked at the Centurion.

“She will help you” The MCS jumped into the air, dozens of feet in the air, and in purple flash, turned into her true machine form before shape shifting into her jet form and flying straight to the Goliaths at the front lines.

Ignoring the man’s shocked reaction she looked to the men and women under her control. They were now much more defenseless without the MCS at their side. She hoped they could make it to the other machines, then they would be at the safest spot in the entire world no doubt.

“Move out!” she gestured to the direction of the machines, past the great forest and began walking ahead.

The jet MCS had dove straight to the conflict with the Goliaths. Before all the Human combatants, this large machine started to destroy Goliath after Goliath: a mechanical godsend.

Ayesha had guided her people through the forests. Days passed without much interest other than the focus of their goal. There was no interested in chit chat or getting to know each other, too much was in danger for them to not give anything less then 110% on this journey.

When they got to the MCS's however, that caused quite the reaction. By the broken castle again, Ayesha remembered when she began to pilot hers for the first time.

"All of you! Pick one and get in it!" They were surprised that she even expected the Field Medics to also do so. The leading Medic watched as they all approached a MCS and got into the cockpits. The back of her mind couldn't help but wonder what her own MCS was doing, she still hadn't returned....

MCS Deployment

Once arrived at the broken down castle the men and women take in the majesty that is this place. They were shocked as well stunned to fine these machines lieing all over the place. The men and women broke up into singular persons and chose their own MCS. Each person stepped into their machine at separate times and with this they were filled with fear at the start of each machine. The machines stood at different heights with them being differen weight classes. The male that was speaking before was the first to develop the sensible abilities to control the machanical beast. Though it had took him awhile, and with the help of the machine voice automated guide, to get the beast under his control.

After awhile the other soldiers fell in making a "V" shape formation knowing each and every single one was off a different class and type. They waited further information upon their leader.

Ayesha waited and watched, knowing what each of them were going through. Even in their awkwardness, seeing the machines move about and become piloted was amazing. She wondered if each of their MCSs would form a bond with their pilot just like hers did. The memory of her MCS not listening to any order Ares gave her ammunition for this theory.

In their humanoid form, the MCS seemed so...detached...but could they eventually become their own group of people if they united? Suddenly in here life there were so many alien versions of mankind, the Goliaths and the MCSs. Should they be respected as races of people?

Looking at the formation she eyed how they all differed from her MCSs...she was too dazzled to realize this last time she was here. A smirk crept across her face, her mind playing Ares' irritated voice while she learned how to control her machine.

"You are now the heroes of humanity. This is the simple truth, only you have the ability to save us. So listen closely, in my experience, these machines came with voice activated tutorials that will greatly help you hone your skills. They also respond to voice commands...the trick is finding out what key words to use to get the response you want. You MUST continue to learn the controls and their capabilities" Ayesha's heart was swelling with pride, fear...hope...

"Each of the machines can take Human form, I do not know if it is something personal to them or by random choice. But I warn you: respect them. I do not know the scope of their personalities...but regardless...they are in part saving us, and that makes them heroes as well."

A clenched fist went to her mouth and she cleared her throat, keeping her stance authoritative. "Now that each of you have piloted a MCS, the individual machines will only listen to your commands...so my experience has shown me. That means each of you has the personal responsibility of following a moral conduct with the MCSs under your individual commands."

A brow was raised. "Any questions?"

Her heart grew more worried for her own MCS...still missing...

Fear, hope, pride and righteous flowed through each and every single one of those hearts as Ayesha's voice rang amongst the squadron of MCSs. It had become apparent that they were the force that mankind had been looking for, and with this every single pilot became tense at this thought. Though the one that had been leading this endeavor seemed to take in his own pride and give a hearty roar knowing that they were the only ones that could save mankind. Slowly after the others joined in with hearty roars as well knowing they would lead the final strike against the Goliaths.

After all the roaring ceased, the male stepped forward and found a way to turn on the microphone using voice command which too him was difficult enough to do all on its own;

Each person nodded in response knowing that they were given the weapon to destroy the one race they were destine to be killed from. Each person cautiously switched to flight mode, and suddenly the entire squadron of MCS transformed into different forms of fighters before suddenly sky-rocketing into the air leaving a smoke trail in their wake. Each person exprienced a different set of fear, knowing that the speed of the machines caught them off guard. All of them adjusted their speed to a minimal level before appearing in a sqaudron once more with Avion Kalypso, who had been scared shitless, carried everyone forward.

All of them looked at each MCS with shock knowing these things were beautiful in nature though each kept a suitable speed to make another "V" shape flight pattern. Avion Kalypso breathed out and tried to learn more out of this machine then he could possibly could. He sighed as one of the men learned radio control amongst the machines.

"Check this out!", said the male with surprise and joy.

Avion gestured with worry and amazement.

They had flown off towards their destination.

The sounds of the MCSs breaking the sound barrier roared in her ears while they zipped away. It was amazing how slow Ayesha felt at her walking pace to the shrinking dots in the sky.

Alone, she kept herself focused. It helped combat the sense of vulnerability she secretly held. She couldn't stop wondering what became of the MCS.

(Here would be a time skip of several days - you can post what happens in the Syndicate during this time but I wasn't going to post more unless I know for sure someone isn't heading to Ayesha)

Syndicate's Upheaval

It has been several days since the return of the MCS squad as well as their leader, Ayesha Tiller. Ever since these machines became public, Humanity has seemed to become more at peace with themselves than they normally would. Having such weapons of mass destruction would result in political confrontation with other kingdoms across the globe. Though with such weapons mankind has become a even player in this war for survival.

Now, we tune in to Ayesha and Ares who has seemed to witness a rather interesting political uprising within Syndicate. Ares's fears that this may be the fall of Syndicate if this uprising is allowed to roam free, and Ayesha seems to think the same as well. Though the president will abide by such things, and in time will come with a decision to deal with this matter..

Ares, who seemed to be healed [greatly] to cruch position, sat at a large table with other officers and officials knowing he was to attend such a meeting. Each face that Ares witnessed seemed to have some sort of seriousness to them and this meant that something important has come to mind for each male or female within this room. Ares's father, the President, stood at one end of the table with his fingers tied and was thinking intently on what say to his officers and officials. Ares quietly sat there wondering what his father would say in this situation, but his thoughts were interupted by his father who seemed to know what he was saying:

"Something important has come to my attention. There has been a significant rise in doubt within our city and the Mayor is tied up with those doubts. Though the doubt itself is of those machines that Captian Ayesha Tiller has brought several days ago. Thirty-five percent of citizens fear that these machines are going to become a major problem for us in the long run and that percentage is increasing rapidly at a unparalleled pace. It is warned that, if these machines are continously shown to the Human eye, then humanity itself will revolt violently against such machines in order to return natural order within reality itself."

Ares eye's widen knowing such information was damaging to his ears. Though the President himself continued to speak;

"With citizens beginning to doubt their safety, more and more are starting to become more violently and [previously] began attacking government officials without a lick of concent for the others around them. This means we have an uprising on our hands.. With this uprising now aimed at us, we can not hold them back for very long.. I rely on you to make sure that the citizens of Syndicate do not make their way here.. Now that this order will abide by the Act of Civil War... You need to be prepared for when such an event will occur."

No-one within the room spoke, but instead kept their eyes trained on the president knowing these were specific orders given to them.. Ares on the other hand was shocked to hear, that he would be a part of upcoming Civil War. The President spoke even further;

"Information regarding those humanoid Goliaths have been disclosed to the public through a temporary source of transfering.. This was not our content, and with this someone on the inside leaked this information to public and with this increased the uprising's precentage vote. This will most likely won't allow me to be relected. Now. You have your orders.. Proceed with Code 35265.. Dismissed.."

Ares and other people stood to their feet but his father stopped Ares before he could leave.

Ayesha could only shake her head at her people. They were swatting away they very thing that was going to keep them alive. Ayesh wondered if her new empathy for the MCSs came through her own unit. The men and the women of the front lines had much to be grateful for...the MCS had cleared away the Goliath population attacking them.

It wasn't going to be permanent...but a moment of no combat had not occurred since the fight brought to the front lines began. Hopefully that would give them a great deal of time to recover.

Regardless, she stood and was starting to leave the President's office when she heard for Ares to remain. Looking back she pondered what she was to do. By orders she was supposed to stay by his side, but the President looked as if he wished to have one on one conversation with her son.

Unsure, she remained by the door, listening in on the conversation.

Fatherly Conversation

Ares's father looked at him with a serious look. Ares stared at his father from over his shoulder before turning towards him and speaking towards him;

"What is it father?"

His father sighed as he stood from his seat and stepped towards Ares, "It is about Ayesha.. I'm sure she would be surprise to find that her family doesn't have to take part in this event.."

Ares pondered this question before thinking back to what Ayesha said to Ares during the trip to the Eastern Ocean, "She wouldn't allow countless people to get hurt over some sort of rebellion that does have a cause to begin with.."

His father seemed hurt by his words, but nonetheless kept a firm stance, "I know. But the Tiller Family has been a large asset to the Syndicate for generations, but I feel that they may be targeted by the same people that chose to take their help.. Ayesha is the captain of the MCS team after all, and I fear that she may be targeted as well.."

Ares sighed as he adjusted his crouches, "So what? What would that mean for Ayesha and her family? Would they be killed during this Civil War?"

His father looked away, "It is is unsure if they may survive such a war, but that is besides the point. What I ask of you is to make sure Ayesha stays safe.. Even though, by orders, she is to stay at your side always just... Look out for her alright?"

Ares knew something was strange about his father, but he couldn't quiet put it together. Ares nodded before limping out of the room to see that Ayesha was standing in the doorway waiting on him. Ares stared at Ayesha before moving pass her and limping down the cooridor to the courtyard. Within the courtyard he settled on a bench and began to stare into the sky wondering when such a thing will occur.

Ayesha had walked beside Ares despite his slow pace. The pale skinned MCS followed a little behind. Now that people were understanding her to be an extremely powerful machine, the fearful expressions and angry glares were heavily pointed at her.

Ayesha had seen the other MCS human forms. They all took random forms: their ethnicties, gender and levels of attractiveness all varied. She hadn't seen them talk among each other...she had to also keep secret their forms. Paranoia was spreading, who was a machine and who wasn't? With Ayesha's MCS being the only publicly known one was bringing a lot of tension.

Ares sat at the bench and Ayesha moved more though the small courtyard. Truthfully, she was still tired from her journey, but there seemed to be no time to rest. Guards were openly glaring at the MCS and free civilians enjoying the courtyard looked greatly off put by Ayesha's presence.

Ares noticed all the uncomfortable stares that Ayesha was receiving. It was indeed a Mad World they lived in. Everyone turning their backs on machines that one day will save their lives from a great evil. Ares sighed as he gestured for Ayesha who seem to venture further into the courtyard;

"Uh.. Ayesha..! Come here for a moment..!"

Ares didn't want to get up due to his condition, but since this was his time to be lazy he decided to call her over. He wasn't the one for this sort of thing, but he was willing to make up for it..

Stepping away from Ares, she looked at him a bit baffled.

Still bound by orders, Ayesha had no choice but to wait in the courtyard till Ares woke up.

Sitting by the bench, she eventually noticed passing civilians eyeing her as they passed. She didn't understand how they saw her as a monster supporter, how she sided with both the demon AND the large machines. How much humanity was left in her?

Without realizing it she too fell asleep, her head leaned against a pillar next to the bench.

Ares woke up, after hours of sleeping, and saw that the sky was darkening to night. Ares looked around as people started to crowd the sleeping Ayesha and her machine asking and poking both beings. Ares yelled out at the crowd shoohing them away. The crowd scattered as Ares stood to his feet knowing they were fearful of the demon. Ares limped over to Ayesha and shook her awake;

"Ayesha..! Come on. Let us move areas.."

Ares wasn't the one for fame or attention, but in this case him and Ayesha were receiving unwanted stares.

Once Ayesha was awake and ready to leave Ares would turn his back to those that were giving him bone-chilling stares and move down the connected cooridor coming to the West Wing of the kingdom. He sighed knowing he would have to calm stairs to get to his favorite area and with summoned some strength to his legs knowing he could do so little with his power. He took small steps up the vast number of stairs, but during this ordeal Ares had fallen several times before actually reaching the top. Ares hadn't thought this through and with this came to the top of the tower and looked out at the city below and the sky beyond. Ares was breathing rather hard, but the sight was breath taking.

Ayesha wanted to help Ares up the stairs, but he seemed to proud to take any help. Watching him fumble made her bite her lower lip. She did try to hide it out of respect for rank and his capabilities but the Demon was not taking injury humbly.

At the top of the tower Ayesha looked at the sight of the city and beautiful sky and enjoyed it...quiet for a moment before she had to ask "Why are we here, sir?"

Without speaking of the future, you won't know the past or the present.. I know i'm the President's son, and even he questions the health of this nation.. Holding onto arrogance will get you killed.."

Ares turned towards Ayesha with a serious look, "You can't keep living in the past Ayesha.. Look ahead.. Actually think of it.. But i'm sure you can't because of your family's long line of arrogance and pride.."

Ares turned away and leaned on the edge once more.

“How dare you. My family has sacrificed for generations for the Syndicate! Our women have ensured the men and women of the Syndicate can continue their duties!” She stomped closer to the Demon. “You will NOT insult my family!”

Ares sighed staying calm, "Fine live in your damn pride and glory.. But until you see what is happening before you, you and all the others who are ignorant to such a cause will not know what to do.."

Ares, seeing her anger and related to such anger if his family was being insulted, sighed even further becoming even more angered with himself for letting such a soul go. Ares turned towards Ayesha with his demonic eyes dead-locked in hers;

"Think woman. Just think for a moment. If you really care for the people of Syndicate then you must take into account of what may happen if these people become doubtful of yours and others MCSs. If you are too blind to see that they are beginning to hate the Tiller Family for one of them carries a machine that people think is a burden to their society.

I hate to say it, but just take a moment and think! Value several thousand lives. Value what may happen if those several thousand people attack your family over what you did. Value the safety of your family. Once you think of others and not yourself, then come and talk to me about real pride.. "

Ares took the slap and was slightly phased by it. He held his cheek that had struck deep pain in his face. Ares looked away looking down knowing he was to absorb the shock of the slap. Ares threw his crouches off to the side in frustration and leaned against the edge. He sighed knowing she was right to some degree. If he hadn't been injured in that fight he wouldn't have been sulking in this injured state and would go off to do what Ayesha was going to do.

Ares looked out at Syndicate before getting the feeling that he just needed to get away from here.. From all of this.. Ares stood onto the edge with what strength he had, but wasn't enough and slipped over the edge and fell towards the ground. Ares quickly flexed his wings and swooped into the air and flew off into the sky banking left into the forest below. Within this time he had landed hard since his legs were still injured and crashed into a tree and laid there knowing he didn't want to get up nor did he want to move.

"You are the one lacking pride! You're sulking and brooding because you are not at your combative best!"

Those words echoed in his mind and with this his eyes began to tear up. He didn't want to believe it, but he was weak and he knew it. He burst into tears feeling overwhelming sadness and fear. His tears fell to the ground as he curled up in the dirt. He didn't want to believe it or anything that woman said, but it was too late to go back and with this he just wanted to die and leave this world be.

After awhile Ares wiped the tears from his eyes and cheeks. He stood to his feet using his own strength knowing he needed to be brave and brace his weaknesses. He looked over his shoulder towards Syndicate as he said one final goodbye;

"I'm never coming back.. You people are better off without me anyways.."

Ares looked forward and picked up the longest and stongest stick he could find and with this limpped his way deeper into the forest area heading east for the Eastern Sea to get back at the humanoid Goliaths for what they had done to him.

Ayesha left the tower, her journey down the steps was fast and furious. The Field Medic was still fuming, her body moving down each step rapidly. Of course the MCS followed behind in a calm state, detached from what just happened. The machine woman's tench-coat flowed elegantly with each step.

How could the Demon be such a damned fool? How high did the man's arrogance and self pity fly? Ayesha was craving action to push away the anger. Walking away from the tower it was time she looked for Avion Kalypso and the other MCS pilots.

So Cold

Avion, and the other MCS Pilots, stood before a great alter that seemed to have resonated itself amongst the Citadel. Avion crossed his arms as he turned away towards the other MCS pilots that seemed to have been worried by the recent news and information coming out of the office. Was the president really straining on the fact that Civil War could be in order all because of something that could save their lives one day? No. Avion couldn't believe that. Avion needed to give these people some sort of courage for they were going to be needed on the front lines. Avion was indeed the captain of the MCS Squad, but no commander like Ayesha Tiller. She was the founder and original pilot of them, and so it was hard speaking towards that woman without having a soldier's attitude. Avion stepped forward closer to the alter as he stared closely at the statue until suddenly a young woman with a large male [muscle toned] stepped forward from the group;

"Captain. Don't do that.. We have a bad reputation already. We don't need any more bad reputation than we already have..."

Avion stopped mid-step and turned towards the woman, "What good does it make if we are being criticize for something that could save someone's life?"

The woman, Helaria Gahol, narrowed her eyes, "Avion. You know full well of the situation. Do not escalate it any further than it already is.. Syndicate is in a very delicate situation.. They don't need loose-cannons like you making irrational decisions that could change the already unanimous statements against us."

Avion grunted with displeasure at Helaria's statement, but she was right after all and with this looked towards his MCS who symbolized a samurai of sorts. Avion knew full-well what he was getting into, but he couldn't risk the fate of Syndicate on something so foolish. They needed the guidance of their commander. Avion turned towards the others who seem to be moping about the Citadel as if it were the apocalypse. Avion sighed as he settled on the top step on the alter with his MCS standing waiting for orders. At this point he needed to do something to alter the course of failure for this kingdom.

At the great alter, Ayesha glanced over all the pilots. Her eyes then fell Avion. How had the man managed himself and the others in her absence?

For now she kept herself silent. If she was not noticed she was not going to draw attention to herself. She wanted to see what Avion was going to do.

Water continued to conjured a tiny rush of water to move down Air's throat. She coughed a few times but smiled.

"She is getting better" Water held her face tenderly, thinking of their murdered brother, Fire. The exotic grace turned to Earth, his eyes a leering gaze. "Air will be strong enough soon..." Goliaths of all sizes were walking around them. "I want vengeance"

Avion silently gestured as if he wanted to say something, but couldn't find the thoughts to bring together what he wanted to say. Then Avion, with his will being tested, stood before the other pilots with his head held high. With this, he spoke with promise and clarity knowing there would come a time when Ayesha wouldn't be around to help them;

"You may say I'm a loose-cannon, but you may not realize how much pride I have for Syndicate. Yet I am not a fool to what is going on around us, but certainly I, myself, want this nation to continue standing as it once was.. If we are to accept defeat, then it would mean our destruction.. Keep your heads high and backs straight for we need everyone on board.. Each one of you has these machines and with this it makes you a part of the problem! Do not target me for you have the same burden!"

The others fell quiet and decided not to speak further. Avion sighed as sat there knowing it came time to show the public what they were made of.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Earth stared towards Water hearing of his tone for vengeance. Earth shook his head knowing that it was a stupid idea to assume vengeance would be the answer at this point in time. Earth crossed his arms and spoke towards Water making sure he didn't step out of line;

"You must wait until the Zodiacs are finished.. Remember they take our personal powers.. Fire's death was not expected I know, but attacking them now would result in some sort of death sentence before the Zodiacs are even finished.. Wait brother.. The time will come when we destroy the Humans and the pesky Demon of theirs.. Father isn't going to like his son destroying our plans.. Even though he is our brother, we must ensure that he does destroy the Zodiacs."

"I am going to show myself to the public and speak on this issue" she looked around at the men and women. "If you choose to stand with me, that is up to you. But I will NOT allow people to see us they way they do. They need to know the truth. If there is infighting, we lose"

Avion, on the other hand become proud of their commander and with this spoke [out of turn, but to prove a point];

"Commander. Don't you think the people are taking too much thought into this? Surely you must be one of those that still have hope that Syndicate will not fall to something as foolish as this?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Earth nodded in agreement with Water, "Of course Water. But you must understand... He is family and will always continue to be no matter the cause.. Water... Fire did not die in vein, but it had shed new light on what we are to do with the Humans and that demon.. We are the perfect forms of the world, and the world shall come to know that eventually. Though we must focus on that demon and how he relates to us.. After all he is the son of our Father, and the barer of the Destroyer Stone... He is the chosen, that may destroy us or help us.. It all rides on him.. For now we must ensure that he does not know of our origins and plans.. Do you understand Water?"

"Hope is not something I am going to rely on" Ayesha now stood in front of others, next to Avion. "Action ensures results" She held her gaze on the pilots. Knowing who the Humans were, her eyes fell more on the MCSs and their humanoid forms they took. It still shocked her.

However, her own MCS seemed just as equally detached, remaining still and by Ayesha's side without emotion.

"So, I'm taking action. I'm speaking to the public"

"How fortunate for him to have such power" His slanted eyes looked over to Earth, white hair moved in airy wisps. "We must remain passive..." Water conjured his element to his hand and looked at the liquid pouring from his palm onto the earth below. "We now lack elemental unity...do you feel it brother? Avion needed this answer for he wanted to speak his mind so badly, but as the female had said he was a loose-cannon and could go off at any moment. He needed to restrain himself during such an important event. Avion waited for some sort of answer from his commander as the others watch in slight shock.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Earth looked at his hand slightly before looking up towards Water, "That weakness could be our greatest strength, but I do feel that there is a piece of us that has been taken. I'm pretty sure that there is more to that than I could even process.." Earth wanted no part in Water's endeavors to enact revenge on their brother, but there will come a time when that will happen. But for now, they need to keep themselves here for when the Zodiacs arise from their slumber and conquer that world. Earth sighed heavily as he wondered what sort of problems they will face with that demon.

"It would seem that pressuring Father into speeding up the process would result in us getting killed. On the off-chance that the demon comes to this realm. He would soon come face-to-face with the truth. What a sight that will be.."

The Mayor sighed slightly, "Do you understand the situation that you and your subordinates put me in? I have over a thousand persons filing compliants against you Ayesha Tiller. Then the same person that is facing prosecution from the masses arrives in my office requesting a hearing.." The Mayor stood there with his hands behind his back as he stepped towards the window overlooking the town of Syndicate, "Syndicate is facing turmoil and upheavel.. I request a reason as to why you want this hearing.. The public may not like what your going to say, but at least explain to me what you're going to do about this.."

"I am going to present the truth, show them my face, and the face of my MCS. The more they resist the very things that will save their lives. The more we are ALL in danger if a upheaval occurs."

Dire Hoef
06-22-2014, 01:26 AM
The Mayor thought about this seriously. Knowing the populace, the more they do resist the stronger the possibility of upheavel. The Mayor could not allow his life to be put on the line by some unwilling participants. The Mayor sighed and with this nodded, "I will allow this hearing under one circumstance.. If the populace becomes too rattled up by your performance.. I will have to send in guards to pull you out before more distrust and distress become apparent.. That is my ultimatum.. Do you understand?"

Ayesha kept her eyes held on the Mayor's. Her jaw was clenched and, her temples bulged a little with the contracting muscles. It was an ultimatum, by the time she reached the stage would probably be the moment she's yanked off.

"Yes, sir" there was an aggression slipping between her cracks of control and her teeth.

The Mayor nodded as he sat down at his desk and with this gestured, "Now leave my presence.. I have too much work to do.. I cannot have the commander of these machines hauled off to jail now would we?" The Mayor then made a shooh type of gestured and with this returned to this work.

Ayesha nodded and made sure Avion and her MCS were behind her.

Outside, and away from the Mayor's subordinates, Ayesha looked at Avion with frustration.

"He gives me the impossible. How am I supposed to confront our population on this issue if I can't cause 'a problem?' Those people will be angry from the start. How am I to keep them calm?"

Dire Hoef
06-27-2014, 11:18 PM
Avion narrowed his eyes in serious and thought about this situation truthfully, "I could do something that would keep them from charging the stage.. I perhaps we could show them the power that is an MCS?"

Avion thought about that for a moment before rubbing the back of his head, "On second thought that would be a bad idea.."

Minkasha
06-28-2014, 09:31 AM
Ayesha stared at the man, thinking to herself if having him in the leadership role was really such a good idea. The question was clearly written on her face while Avion's voice trailed off. But then her eyes went over to her MCS before looking for Avion's.

"Where is your MCS?" She had not memorized what form his had taken.

Dire Hoef
06-28-2014, 10:50 PM
Avion pointed over his shoulder, "He's standing right behind me.. What is the reason of asking me that question?" Avion asked, in which seemed rather strange to question where his MCS was when actually it was standing right behind him since he didn't give any further orders to him.

Minkasha
06-29-2014, 12:32 AM
Ayesha looked at the MCS (I'm asking you to provide a description of appearance) to study it.

"Having a MCS to scout the surrounding region for any Goliaths would be advisable"

Dire Hoef
06-29-2014, 12:44 AM
Avion turned towards his MCS with a rather interesting look. He then turned back and wondered what sort of recon his MCS could do concerning his was at the top of list, "Well that is correct, but concerning the Goliaths aren't smart enough to attack us again after what happened last time.. I was aware there were other forms of Goliath attacking the Syndicate.. Though it could be the rumor going around that there were four Humans working along side the Goliaths.."

The MCS itself, stood at about equal height with Avion [Avion is roughly 5'11 and with this the MCS is about the same at 5'10] and takes the form of a white male. The MCS's body structure was rather slim, but still kept its imposing figure strong and hear-felt. The clothing that this MCS would wear is that of a suit and tie, a rather odd choice of clothing... Something that has not been seen before..

Though its transformed appearance stands as the tallest amongst all the MCS's, and having a slimmer body structure than all the others. Thus allows this MCS to move more than the others, but the color of it takes the form of green or some where in the shade of green. [That's the best I could do without any reference to what a MCS actually is..]

Minkasha
06-29-2014, 02:30 AM
"Four Humans..." Ayesha's mind trailed off to Ares killing one, a male, and her shooting one, a young female.

"They weren't Human. They had...abilities that I've never seen a Human have" she looked away, back around to look at the many pillars that made up Syndicate architecture. "We cannot talk about it more here...we may be overheard" Ayesha started to lead Avion back to the group of other MCS pilots where it was more secluded. Hopefully, the squad would still be there.

Dire Hoef
06-29-2014, 02:59 AM
Avion followed his commander with a raise brow, "You mean they are not Human!? You were there weren't you? Explain to me why they are not Human, because as far I know there is not any piece of Humanity that could control such abilities.. The only one who could do that is Ares.. We have seen what is capable of.."

Minkasha
06-29-2014, 08:31 AM
"Ares is not Human" Ayesha boldly corrected Avion. "I do not know what they are, but each of them had incredible powers over nature itself." A saddened look came to her face. "Like agents of nature herself, trying to purge us..."

Dire Hoef
06-29-2014, 05:48 PM
Avion nodded, "Of course I know Ares is not Human.. However concerning these humanoids forms of nature; what are to do against them in this case.. What do we have to depend on in order to survive this mess of a situation..?"

Minkasha

Ayesha's mind returned back to her fight with the humanoid Goliaths, the shot that went through the young woman's side.

"They are just as fragile as us. A shot from our MCSs weaponry seems capable of doing the job" her voice had hardened.

Dire Hoef
07-04-2014, 07:44 PM
Avion narrowed his eyes becoming serious, "Well if thats the case.. They may be weak at this point in time.. I highly doubt that those three would be the only ones going against mankind.. I can't help but feel that Ares is going to have one hell of a brawl with something much greater than those three humanoids.."

Ayesha now stepped back from Avion with suspicion.

"Why are you so certain?" Already she knew him to be wrong, remembering Ares wallowing. He wasn't going to be fighting anyone.

Avion smirked devilishly, "Well.. Because he would have no choice, but to fight.."

Avion stepped towards the woman as hisbody structure began to change to something more fitting. (http://dreamworlds.ru/uploads/posts/2008-12/1229015390_gaiaonline__raven_heartwilling_by_ninja tic.jpg)

Avion was now some-one else. Some-one who infiltrated behind enemy lines and gained momentum. Avion was now, Bifrons. Bifrons stared towards the woman with no expression but utter hatred as he spoke towards her, "Ares's fate will have a multitude effect. All those closes to him will be effected by this shockwave.. Ares is the key to your destruction, and the gate-way to our future.. Ares will in fact join us.. It is prophesied by our Father that Ares, his son, will join him by his side and destroy this world.. Don't you see? You let the only thing keeping you alive go, and now you're fated to die.."

Bifrons crossed his arms and waited for the Human to speak knowing it was going to be an interesting reaction.

07-10-2014, 06:43 PM
Ayesha glared as Avion revealed to be someone...something else. Her military mind began to run with lightning speeds, what had happened to the real Avion? Where was the breach in security?

By the time the thing finished speaking she stood still, tense, seeing how he crossed his arms.

"ATTACK THE OTHER ONE!" Ayesha lunged forward, pulling out her knife. Her MCS dived around the red haired being to strike at the supposed MCS that followed this shape shifter.

Bifrons smirked, "Feeble Human."

Bifrons leaned closely towards the Human before dodging the knife and gripping the woman's arm before planting his feet and swing the woman down the hall. Bifrons smirked as he snapped his fingers towards his MCS that glanced towards the other MCS and with this dodged the attack and gripped the MCS by the back of the neck and slammed it into a wall and then into a pillar on the other side of the wall launching it into the court-yard below.

Bifrons smirked slowly, "You are nothing against us!"

Ayesha had screamed as she launched with inhuman strength down the hall. She crashed and landed with a thud and heavy cough. The MCS woman landed without a sound, her body still quite in tack. With great speed the MCS woman lunged from the ground and hit the other MCS, slamming him into more pillars.

The sounds of rubble and violence was starting to draw more attention. Ayesha gritted her teeth while she worked to push herself up. Charging the red headed foe, she tried a firm kick to the side of the man's ribs.

Dire Hoef
07-13-2014, 10:21 PM
Bifrons was slightly surprised at the aggressiveness of the woman and her MCS, and before he could react he noticed his MCS was being thrown around. He also noticed that this skirmish was causing attention, and so it wouldn't be long before he would be caught and killed. Bifrons narrowed his eyes as he saw the woman come forth and lift her leg towards his left side in an attempt at kicking him in the target area. Bifrons, easily stronger than a Human, blocked the kick with swiftness and with this gripped the leg. Bifrons smirked underneath his mask and with this Bifrons swung the woman around in a circle before throwing her once more down the hall as if she was a rag-doll..

Seeing the MCS fly through several pillers Bifrons was concerned that he wasn't going to make it out of here. So with this Bifrons snapped his fingers and the MCS transformed into its machine landing within the court-yard. Bifrons leaped out over the edge and landed ontop of the MCS before slipping into the cock-pit. Bifrons called for the machine to leap into the air and transform into its fighter form and with this it did so without fault. Bifrons smirked as the machine, now a fighter, flew into the sky. And just like that Bifrons had gotten away..

Ayesha's small mortal body could only handle being tossed around so much. At this crash she coughed up a small amount of blood and her ribs hurt. She tried to stand but was unable, collapsed back to the ground.

The MCS walked over and looked down at Ayesha, unmoved.

"Follow...them..." she coughed again. The MCS woman ran out into the courtyard and leaped into the air. Transformed she turned into her jet form and flew after.

Bifrons smirked as he leaned back in his pilot seat, but his fun wasn't over just yet. The MCS from before had appeared on radar was gaining on him. Bifrons knew that the fun wasn't done yet and so Bifrons took control and made a sharp bank to the left trying to see if the MCS would follow. Bifrons smirked as he would pull the control stick backwards in order to pull the fighter jet upward into a loop. Bifrons smirked as he reached for a switch to arm the weapons as the jet came up and around flipping upwards to aim properly. Bifrons smirked as he pressed a button on the stick that controlled the Machine Guns on the jet and with this bullets rained down upon the other MCS.

The MCS couldn't function without her pilot. She was at a disadvantage. Barrel rolling to dodged, her jet form only had no weaponry. Without Ayesha, she could only be evasive. Falling back, she had to stop her pursuit.

Dire Hoef

Bifrons smirked as the MCS began its retreat and with this Bifrons made way towards the Eastern Sea knowing the portal was that way, "The three are going to love this.."

Meanwhile, Ares was slowly trudging through miles of Forest trying to reach the Eastern Sea in order to go to their world knowing the portal was under the waters of the Eastern Ocean. Suddenly from the corner of his left eye, he spotted a fighter far off in the distance heading in the same direction his was going. Could that have been Ayesha? He didn't know since it looked sort of different from Ayesha's. Ares extend his wings knowing it has been a while since he flew and with this launched into the air and with this flew off for the Eastern Sea.

The MCS sqaudron came rushing down the hall towards Ayesha, with their MCSs following in pursuit. One of the squadron members came to Ayesha's side, "Are you alright Commander!?"

Ayesha's MCS kept distance in the air, studying where the other MCS went before it was nothing more than a spec in the sky.

Ayesha herself rolled to her side. She was a bit wounded now as she felt pain breathing.

"We...were attacked! Someone needs to find the real Avion" she coughed "He could be in danger! There was an impostor!" She didn't have the strength to lift herself.

The Lullabies

Many hours passed since Ayesha, the MCS Squadron Commander, was taken into immediate care. Those that searched for Avion only found a corpse hanging from a bedroom window. It was a surprise that no seemed to notice a dead body hanging before their heads. The group mourned the death of their captain, but the one who had taken Ayesha to medical authorities had not received word of this happening. Neither did Ayesha herself for she had lost consciousness and didn’t seem to be waking up any time soon. The sun was long gone and the night’s air was slightly humid giving it a rather unjust taste of paranoia amongst Syndicate. The man who waited by Ayesha’s side was to be the new captain for Avion had long perished. The man’s name was Theridan Omwara, and his MCS was standing by at the door of the room. Theridan sat there knowing the warm air of the night would slowly creep its way onto his skin. Theridan looked up and heard foot-steps behind him, and with this he looked over his shoulder. He saw the rest of the squadron, but from the looks of their faces there was bad news awaiting him. Theridan stood to his feet slowly and looked towards the group with a serious look, “Did you find him…?” He spoke softly knowing not to wake Ayesha. One of the females nodded and stepped forward, “We found Avion, but he was hung from his bedroom window… We were surprised nobody found him…” Theridan stared at her in horror as he covered his mouth and slowly sat back down, “My God… What do we tell our commander?” The woman wasn’t sure what to think or even say for that matter. She fell quiet until one of the men spoke up, “We tell her the truth and appoint a new captain.” Theridan thought about this and with this looked up towards them, “Who should be captain then?” The others look at each other before someone pointed towards Theridan. Theridan sighed, “Fine… I’ll do it… However I’ll break the news to her… You guys go enjoy yourselves tonight… Alright?” They were hesitant at first, but soon enough left without further discussion.

Theridan sat there staring down at Ayesha, and thought about this for a moment. He didn’t know what he was going to say to her when she waked up. But he needed to say something or else it would have been for nothing that he became the new captain. He silently waited, knowing that it was going to be rough…

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ares, once situated on the ground, slowly walked out of the tree line into line of sight of the Eastern Ocean. He looked around unsure of what his purpose was being here. It was a task getting here, but nonetheless he got here. However something had been bugging him ever since he arrived here. He sighed slightly as he walked upon the extending and retracting tides. Ares couldn’t shake a feeling that was creeping down his back. He wanted to do something about this feeling, but it didn’t seem likely. Suddenly the feeling strikes him like a boxer striking his opponent. Ares falters slightly before returning to his senses. He turns around only to be greeted with a swift kick to the right cheek. Ares felt the strength of the kick and was sent flying down the beach causing slightly-massive sand explosions as he bounces across the sand. Ares slowly gets up extremely hurt and not fully recovered from the battle against those humanoids. Ares hold his right cheek with his left hand and with this eyed whoever kicked him. It was Bifrons who had laid harm to Ares, however Ares did not know who Bifrons was and assumed that it was just another elemental humanoid. Bifrons smirked and pointed towards Ares, “So you must be our Father’s prized son? Such a weakling… You would have been able to sense I was coming and easily dodge that… Or wait… You’re still healing aren’t you?” Ares breathed out slightly knowing that kick did some damage to his already injured body. He stood there in silence as Bifrons spoke further, “Well if that’s the case I guess I’ll have to take you with me then… Father has been looking for you, but it seems you are playing hard to get… It’ll be quick and painless…” Suddenly Bifrons defied the laws of physics and suddenly leaped forward at unparalleled speeds and punched Ares straight in the gut. A shockwave came out Ares back as he widened his eyes at the sheer power of this creature. Ares coughed up blue blood and with this fell to his back losing consciousness. Bifrons smirked behind his mask, “Too easy… They are going to love this…”

Bifrons picks up Ares and carries him into the ocean. However the ocean splits up to create a small corridor that leads to a portal and just like that both Bifrons and Ares disappeared.

The President slammed his fist down upon the table as the Mayor quietly stared towards him. “We are facing a crisis that is beyond our control sir. If we don’t increase the castle’s defenses we are sure to succumb to the rampaging horde of civilians,” said the Mayor as he tied his hands behind his back. The President sighed knowing it was going to be a rough one, “Haven’t I already ordered everyone to stay on guard?” The Mayor nodded, but wasn’t sure if that would have been the smartest of ideas, “Yes, but I feel that wouldn’t be enough to keep them away…” The President nodded, “Fine. Increase our defenses. Also pertaining to the incident with Ayesha, it would seem as though they have infiltrated our kingdom. There could be more… Scour the entire kingdom in search of anyone acting strangely…” The Mayor nodded and left without another word. The President stood to his seat and looked out the window over the city, “Where are you my son? Why did you have to leave us so soon?”

Bifrons smirked and threw Ares onto the floor of the room and Earth looked down to notice who it was and then looked towards Bifrons with a frustrated look, "Why have you done this without our permission?"

Bifrons put his hands up with a small smile upon his face, "Lighten up will ya.. He was standing outside the entrance and he wasn't willing to go quietly.. You have been talking about him ever-since that assault.. Now I believe we can move forward with Father's plan."

Earth breathed in before sighing heavily, "Fine.. Air.. Take this boy to Father.. He would love to see his new-found son again.. In the instance that he wakes up by the time you arive at his door-step."

Ayesha's wounds were nothing that required surgical intervention. However, she needed the work of herbology and ultimately the power of sleep. Forced to lay down again it took the work of a sedative herb mixed into her remedies to finally get her docile.

The Field Medic had a lot of fight in her, not accepting herself to fall asleep. Continuously she kept waving a weak hand at medical staff but the arm would get too heavy and was dropped. Her yelling turned into whispers and her eyelids felt heavy.

She was the MCS commander, this she knew. Her MCS was sent to retrieve Theridan but it would be useless as Ayesha was already unconscious.

After awhile of staring south-ward towards the smoke and fire that blurs across the sky, Theridan was greeted by his commanders MCS. Theridan wasn't sure of the point of this, but his own MCS seemed to be infacuated with knowing certain things he didn't. Since Theridan ordered his MCS to have free-will, but apparently it didn't have the necessary requirements of free-will. Theridan didn't take this idea seriously, but knowing this fact wasn't going to help him in a time of need.

Theridan eyed the commander's MCS silently before returning his gaze towards the once great city of Syndicate. "It has fallen now thanks to the doubts of its citizens.. Those who come here wish for a better reasoning upon the world that has yet to reveal itself to us," said Theridan as he slipped his hands into his pockets.

Suddenly the second in command, to Theridan, came from behind with his MCS. The man was lean and slightly fit, but still retained his commoner look. His name was to Dante, and that's pretty much what everyone calls him. People don't really know his true name nor does anyone ask. Some say he was the son of the legendary demon from long ago others say that he is a demon, but not of the same origins as Ares. Dante crossed his arms as he came up to Theridan with a serious look up his face, "What do you purpose we do Captain?"

Theridan sighed softly, "We wait. The Goliath Humanoids are sure to strike in this time frame. The Divine Monarchy's Cleric is requesting immediate assistance to the President. We wait until the Cleric requests a conference for both the Mayor, the President, and our commander. However our commander is under medical attention so I shall be leaving for the conference."

Dante widened his eyes slightly, "Do you believe that is wise for you to go in our commander's place?"

Theridan shook his head, "Doubt it to be so.. If our commander is to recover by then she shall go instead of me."

Dante wondered about this, "Then what about the Goliath Humanoids? Won't the strike in this time frame?"

Theridan nodded, "We are vulnerable at this point time. They are able to swoop in and destroy us before we even knew what hit us."

Dante, "What of Ares.. Syndicate's only warrior..?"

Theridan glanced at Dante for second before turning to the blazing horizon, "Reports show that he left Syndicate before the upheveal began. For all we know he could have fallen into enemy hands.."

Dante looked towards Theridan; expressionless, "The Goliath Humanoids might have him.."

Theridan looked over at Dante shocked, "What does this mean..?"

Dante gave a serious glare towards Theridan, "It means that if the enemy has Ares, then we've already lost this war.. We need to get him back no matter what.."

Theridan looked forward with a shocked, as well as scared, expression upon his face, "Gods help us all.."

Dante turned away from the blazing horizon and returned to the withered castle, but stopped mid-strided, "You have to something about this Captain or we'll all die..." And just like that he and his MCS were gone.

Theridan's eyes were widened, and with this he fell to his knees. He looked down upon his hands before looking forward towards the blazing horizon, "Why does everything always have to happen to me.."

"Wake up, skum" Darkness surrounded them in Ares' chamber. For now, they were alone.

He looked towards the man that stood before him, "What do you want with me.."

Earth narrowed his eyes at both males knowing it was high time to end this bitterness, "Our sister is upon the verge of waking. Do be at our sister's side for that given event. I shall deal with the transportation of our... Guest.."

Ares coughed violently as he was released from his watery prison, "Damn you," he muttered under his breath.

Earth narrowed his eyes towards Ares as he picked up the Demon boy and hauled him off to the throne room. Ares looked over his shoulder towards Earth, but Earth himself made no move to utter a single word.

Once in the throne room Earth kicked Ares through the large double doors. Ares stumbled forward before falling forward onto his face. Ares slowly stood to his feet, and looked around slowly. The room itself was massive with blue dim-lit torches lining the walls of the room. Ares then proceeded to step forward, but a deep and slightly old voice called for Ares to stop his advancement further into the room. Ares shot towards the opposite end of the room to find that a hooded individual (http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2011/086/e/a/hooded_warrior_by_sic_side_fx-d3106vc.jpg) was sitting upon a throne.

Ares silently stared towards this hooded figure as he spoke towards Ares, "Oh have I waited to see you again my boy."

Ares stepped forward holding his side, "F-Father?"

The oldish-looking male stepped down from his throne and slowly walked towards Ares, "Yes. It has indeed been a long time since your mother gave birth to you.."

Ares stared towards the old man in utter shock, "It can't be... My father is suppose to be a legendary Demon.."

The oldish-looking male cackled, "Indeed that was light of my days, but now I've nothing more than old man who wishes Humanity's destruction.."

Ares stood there for a moment before speaking, "What do you mean? You want to take revenge upon Humanity!? And for what?"

The oldish-looking male smiled softly, "To enact the destructive power that the opening of the rift failed to do.."

Ares widened his eyes, "That's maddening!"

The oldish-looking male shook his head, "If only you knew my son.."

Ares fell to his right knee grunting slightly, "You... Can't do this! If you destroy mankind then there will be nothing left on this planet!"

The olidsh-looking male, now called Holm, cackled and turned his back to his own son, "You wouldn't understand my situation.. I have been working on reviving the twelve zodiacal constellations, by using the DNA of the four elements of nature. I am near completion... Do not stride into my plans boy..."

Ares eyes widened until they narrowed in anger. Ares stood to his feet gaining the strength to attack his father. Ares rushed across the throne room summoning a new type of blade. Ares then leaped into the air and tried to slash down upon his own father. However Holm was already a step ahead of Ares and with this Holm turned towards the attacking Ares and lifted his right hand into the air. The gravity slowly shifted and Ares was stuck in place. Ares looked around, unable to move, before suddenly Holm extended his fingers in which case gravity pulled Ares back launching him back across the throne room into a wall a few feet from the right door. Ares grunted as he slid down the wall slowly.

Holm narrowed his eyes, "You delay my plan boy and I will ensure you death to be slow and painful... Just because you were born under me doesn't mean you are not treated with extra care.. The events leading up to this might have changed if you were willing to go quietly with the elementals."

Ares looked towards his own father with pain in his eyes and with this he slowly stood to his feet but fell to one knee, "I won't allow you to destroy this world."

Holm shook his head, "The Humans have corrupted you... I think its time to clense your mind of those corruptions.." Suddenly Holm lifted up the same hand he used for the previous attack and with this Holm's eyes whitened.

Ares gasped holding his chest. The veins within Ares' body began to glow with a lavaish hue, as heat and steam began to erupt from his skin. Ares screamed in pain, as the transformation had begun.

Holm then proceeded to close his hand into a fist.

Ares suddenly dropped to the ground unconscious, but seconds later lifted himself up to his feet. Ares had become something that he'd wished to forget. (http://wallpapersus.com/wallpapers/2012/04/fire-disturbed-smiles-the-darkness-indestructible-flaming-demon-1024x1280.jpg)

Holm smirked and cackled, "Go.. And finished what we started.."

Ares nodded slowly before disappearing in a firey pillar.

Holm turned away from Ares' last known position and returned to his throne, "The destruction of mankind is upon us.."

Ares appeared on the surface causing a massive explosion of fire and magma.

Ares smirked as he caught sight of the olden castle in the distance. Ares walked towards the olden castle to finish what the rift started. As Ares walked he left a trail of fire and magma, and intense heat surrounded his body.

Theridan looked around only to hear an explosion, mixed in with the others, off in another direction. Theridan spotted the explosion and noticed a small trail appearing into Theridan's peripheral vision. Theridan began distressed by this sight and looked towards his MCS and ordered it to send a message to all other MCS that something is coming and it is extremely dangerous. Theridan's MCS changed into its mech mode and with this Theridan leaped up into the cockpit knowing it was time to protect this castle from anything dangerous. Theridan thrusted the joy-sticks forward ordering the massive machine to rush the enemy.

Ares saw a massive machine rush towards him and with this he smirked as he summon Fire and Earth Goliaths to his aid. Three dozen of the two types appear beside, behind and in front of Ares only to rush the oncoming machine.

Left as she was, Ayesha looked for her MCS to find 'her' standing in a corner unnervingly staring straight back at Ayesha with no pause. Shaking it off, Ayesha waved the MCS over and quickly she came.

Following instruction, the MCS had picked her up out of bed and rushed from the wing of the castle.

"We need to fight." Ayesha affirmed to herself. The machine woman did not seem to mind one way or another. Out in open space she turned into her robotic form and helped placed Ayesha in her core.

In nothing but undergarments and bandages around her chest, Ayesh was slow too get herself situated in the controls. Pushing buttons and having the cockpit closed, the MCS leaped into the air and flew to where the danger was. The former commander grit her teeth.

Theridan saw the Goliath's appear from the Earth that he walks on, and with this he didn't waste a single second. He engaged the first Goliath with head on right hook to the face, then came to the second with a left hook. After the first two Goliath's drop to the ground, dead in their tracks, Theridan noticed something that made him freeze in place. "It's... It's Ares," exclaimed Theridan seeing Ares slowly walk towards the castle without pause or room to ponder other things. Theridan shook off the shock when suddenly he was knocked backwards by an Earth Goliath. Theridan narrowed his eyes and bit down upon his teeth, "Come and get some..!"

Ares smirked devilishly seeing the machine engage his... Pets... Ares looked pass the machine to see another charging towards this destination. Ares cackled with pleasure as he realized that this would be fun, and with this decided to intervene with the little fight going between the Goliaths and the first machine. Ares leaped into the air and turned in to a beast (http://demonimages.net/images/gallery/demon-images-by-unknown-18.jpg) that was about the size of a MCS. Ares roared as he swung his arm towards the machine setting the surrounding area ablaze.

Theridan looked off to his left to see a massive demonic hand come and slam him from the left side. Theridan's MCS was sent tumbling over a distance of a few hundred meters before coming to a screeching stop. Theridan ordered the machine to stand to its feet, and it did, reluctantly. Though, due to the heavy hit, it sustained minor to slightly major damage to the machine's outer shell. Theridan was breathing heavily knowing that it was time to end this, but he was ambushed by a trio of Goliaths. Theridan turned his attention from said firey beast and onto these Goliaths. Theridan thought, in the heat of battle, "Is that really what Ares looks like?"

Ayesha wanted to scream when she saw the monster in the air. Her teeth were clenched so tightly her jaw was in pain.

She took a moment to hold her breath, her MCS still heading straight for it.

"BLADES!" She yelled, her MCS projecting her voice through loud speakers. Pushing the right buttons on the controllers the blades popped out from the wrists of the machine and she charged full speed with one in lead. The target was the monster's chest. If that one landed, she would throw her impact force into the other blade that was held back and shove it straight into its head.

Theridan, without really thinking, rushed in scooped up Ares and rushed back to the castle, "I'll deal with our fallen friend," Theridan exclaimed as he called back to his commander.

Once at the castle Theridan settled Ares' near-death body down upon the grass and with this Theridan leaped out of his MCS only to crash to the ground. Theridan crossed his arms as he walked away knowing he couldn't see anymore. He was the only one to have noticed Ares before hand, and was the only to have faced him in battle, before his commander had appeared. Theridan was followed by the others and with this they started to have a conversation of what happened during the battle.

Ares was holding to very life-force that was slowly moving away from his reaching distance. Ares returned to reality to find that medics were working on his wound. The pain had snapped Ares back into his original-self, but the pain was too much to bare. Ares lost consciousness and with this the race to save Ares' life rages on.
