A list of the characters I have cooking:

Name: Aksu
Age: 24
Race: Zora

Weapon: A spear passed down in her family with a small blade made of the fossilized fin of one of their ancestors. Despite its ancient appearance, it is quite durable and delivers a hefty blow. Though slicing with it can prove to be a challenge, the blunt force of its swing proves useful enough.
Items: A traditional Zora helmet, also a family heirloom. It is nearly impenetrable, but impairs her vision a little. Because of this, she prefers to leave it off unless necessary. She also carries around a kit of small tools for crafting things and making repairs. Before her departure, her mother gave her a couple of health potions, telling her, "It's dangerous beyond the Domain, one can never be too careful." At the same time, her father presented her with an elaborately painted water skin made from a puffer fish. It expands to hold quite a bit of liquid, and is decorated with important scenes from the Zora's history. Aksu's father warned her to make good use of the skin and to stay hydrated.
Magic: Aksu is able to create an electric field that surrounds and protects her body, but only while underwater. This eel-like ability is shared by many Zoras, though Aksu cannot hold her shield of electricity up for as long as some of the others.
Racial Abilities: Like all Zoras, she is an extremely powerful swimmer, even able to scale waterfalls if need be (though this exerts a tremendous amount of energy). She can also breathe using either lungs or gills, glow in dark waters, and withstand intense cold. However, being a Zora means she has to stay as hydrated as possible lest she fall gravely ill. Drinking a lot of water can sustain her for awhile, but she must return to the water from time to time, or else her body begins to dry out.
Skills: She is very crafty and can make tools or small weapons out of almost anything. She can also detect movement within a relatively large radius underwater. Her agility and speed make her nimble both in water and on land.
Fighting Style: Aksu uses her speed to her advantage and tries to disable her opponent as quickly as possible with a strong thrust of her spear. If her first onslaught is unsuccessful, she uses the spear as a shield and tries to wait for her opponent to tire themselves out a bit before striking again. She usually does not aim to kill, but won't shirk the task if need be. Having a deep respect for all life, Aksu would rather avoid conflict. However, she is quick to defend herself, her family, and her clan.
History: Born and raised in Zora's Domain, Aksu hasn't left her home much, except to attend the annual Hyrule Festival. She has trained with her peers since the age of twelve to help guard their underwater city. She is not fearful of the outside world, simply content with her home and lifestyle. This year, she had the honor of being selected to hand the Zoras' offering to King Zora XVII for him to present to Hyrule's royal family.

Name: Experiment #73; Elise
Age: 24
Type of chimera: grizzly bear
Appearance: Her once-lovely features are ghosts of what becoming a chimera has done to Elise's face and body. Though she is able to give herself a nearly-human appearance at will, she cannot restore her original beauty. She has a broad frame now, with a slight hump to her shoulders and long, wide hands. Her ears seem too high on her elongated head, or perhaps it's that her nose is too low. A few patches of silver can already be spotted throughout her shaggy hair, which she grows out in an effort to cover her ears. Her eyes are the same almond shape and amber color as before, but look small on this new face.
Abilities: Having gained the strength of a bear, Elise can do a lot of damage if you let her get too close. She isn't very graceful, but she packs a heavy blow and is surprisingly quick for her size. The tips of her thick nails have been filed into sharp points and her nose is extremely sensitive. She can smell things through walls, under water, and seemingly far away, though her distance limit is hard to test in a prison. What she's gained in smell, she's lost in peripheral vision. The way her eyes are set in her face makes it hard to see things to the side of her without turning, and the way her neck muscles press against the hump of her shoulder when she turns her head greatly reduces its range of motion, meaning she has to turn her whole upper torso to see to the side. This not only adds to her gracelessness, but leaves her vulnerable to attacks from the rear.
Bio: It's a struggle for Elise to remember much from before five years ago, when her body was joined with that beast's. She can vaguely remember the night of her capture, but nothing before that. Her earliest fuzzy recollection is nervously getting ready for a date, fussing over her accessories and primping her makeup in a mirror. Then she gets snippets of memories--sitting across from a handsome man and pretending to listen to him gush about how his work would change the world, him asking her to come back to his lab with him, her shock when they got there and she tried to kiss him, his sadistic laughter, his fist barreling towards the side of her head... The next thing she remembers is being shackled to a research table next to a caged bear. It was massive, eight feet tall and half as wide, its yellow teeth gleaming as it bellowed in agony. The beast was frenzied, swiping at the air and turning about frantically as though it were being attacked. After that Elise remembers a blinding pain coursing throughout her entire being, so much that she was sure she'd spontaneously combusted. When she came to, she was sure she had died, but a quick look at herself and her surroundings told her she was certainly not in heaven. She woke up as a monster, trapped in this Hell with other people-turned-monsters, clinging to life only for the pursuit of escape and revenge.

Name: Kaaiathas (Ka’ia)
Age: 45
Gender: Female
Race: Elf

Personality: Ka’ia is a fierce warrior and a skillful hunter. She doesn’t have much time for nonsense and is easily irritated. She thinks lying and complaining are both wastes of time, and hates both. Anyone guilty of doing either in excess is bound to get the stiffer end of Ka’ia’s shoulder. She likes to keep to herself deep in the forest and fancies herself one of its wardens, eliminating any threats to the balance that is critical for it to thrive. Though she has no problems with anyone in her village, she is not especially close to anyone, either. The trees are her friends and her staff is her husband.
Bio: Born in a small El’Rhean community, the forest has always been a cornerstone of Kaaiathas’ life. Her dearest dream is to come across a ruin unknown to her people and be the first to wander its pristine halls once more, drinking in its beauty and destroying nothing. Looting the ancient fey ruins is a grievous crime in the eyes of El’Rhean communities, and one of the ways she makes a living is to arrest those stupid enough to try.
