Any genre really vloggers, animators, lets players, etc

Just interested because I like some of everything but I know a lot of people who never venture outside of the content that a few of their favorites provide. Anyway post as many as you like!

Mine would be (in no particular order):

1. Vlogbrothers (https://www.youtube.com/user/vlogbrothers) - One the first things I ever subscribed and never have regretted it. Generally quality wise I think on of the best good content maker out there all of their channels are great form SciShow to CrashCourse. Also John Greens books are fantastic.

2. sxephil (https://www.youtube.com/user/sxephil) - Along with Sorcefed my main source of news and interesting opinions. Well done content delivered in a traditional manner.

3. JesseCox (https://www.youtube.com/user/OMFGcata) - My favorite lets player by far. Love his personality and opinions. Also one of the pillars of the TGS Podcast and the Cox n' Crendor Show podcast both of which are great.

4. AgentXPQ (https://www.youtube.com/user/AgentXPQ) - Probably better known as Tales of Mere Existences this one is great because it combines fun animation with serious and interesting story lines filled with great dark and self deprecating humor. The guy also has a book out which is also good.

5. PBS Idea Channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/pbsideachannel) - Like things that dissect pop culture and current evens? Like hosts with beards? Like well used gifs and great editing? If you said yes to at least one these questions then definitely check out this one. It produces great content and is always great to watch even if they talk about things you have zero idea about.

6. BarelyPolitical (https://www.youtube.com/user/barelypolitical) - This was the first thing I remember subscribing to back when they made funny political videos. Nowadays however they make good song parodies and general funny content. Some pepole think they have gone down hill since 2012 but I think they are sill great :).

7. TotalHalibut (https://www.youtube.com/user/TotalHalibut) - Better known as TotalBiscuit. Good concise and informative first looks at most PC games. Good gaming news content as well.

8. Geek & Sundry (https://www.youtube.com/user/geekandsundry) - One of the best quality content producers out there from Tabeltop to Unplugged this channel as little bit of everything to suit all kinds of geekery.

9. CardGamesFTW (https://www.youtube.com/user/CardGamesFTW/featured) - The thing that started the abridging craze. The first season is a little dated but otherwise still as good as it ever was. As the channel is constantly being taken down you can always try their official site (http://yugiohabridged.com/).

10. Lindsey Sterling (https://www.youtube.com/user/lindseystomp) - My personal favorite of all the Youtube musicans. She plays the violin and has great choreography both cover and her originals are great so definitely check her out.

11. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOO5S4vxi0o) BlameSocietyfilms (https://www.youtube.com/user/blamesocietyfilms) - Again one the older ones. These guys are great whether it be their comedic Beer and Board Games to their interesting and genuinely thought provoking movie show Welcome to the Basement. Best known for their web series Chad Vader though which is what first got me watching them back in 2007.

Honorable mentions:
GameGrumps, JontronShow, PressHearttoContinue, JeremyJahns and a lot of other great channels I can't right now remember.

- AngryJoe

- TotalBiscuit (also goes by CynicalBrit)

- Rev3Games (Though, it was way better when Adam Sessler was still in the company)

- Destructoid (Staple gaming info channel.)

- NigaHiga

- Tommy Toe Hold (humorous MMA channel)

- RocketJump, FreddieW (IMO, the best VFX group out there.)

That's just some of them, I don't have time to list each one.

Well, I don't subscribe to a whole lot of things on Youtube, but here are my top four

1.) theRadBrad (https://www.youtube.com/user/theRadBrad). He might miss a lot of stuff on his walkthroughs... side-quests, items, secrets, and so on... but he is entertaining, friendly to other people on multiplayer games, and seems like a generally cool guy.

2.) 331Erock (https://www.youtube.com/user/331Erock). This guy is a phenomenal guitarist, friendly guy, has awesome tattoos, and seems to me like an all-around badass. Listening to his metal adaptations of various TV Openings, Video Game music, and even Memes is one of my favorite things to do on Youtube.

3.) AngryJoeShow (https://www.youtube.com/user/AngryJoeShow). Angry Joe is a frigging genius. He takes games that everyone loves, plays them, dissects them, and does NOT sugar coat any of the bad stuff he finds. Anything from turds like the new Rambo game, to supposed unrivaled badassery like Elder Scrolls Online. He measures all the positive things against the crummy stuff he finds, and gives very fair ratings, in a fun and entertaining way.

4.) DEATH BATTLE! (https://www.youtube.com/show/deathbattle) ... while technically part of ScrewAttack, Death Battle is also its own channel. The folks behind these videos are intellectual powerhouses. Want proof? Goku vs Superman (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyl97TG8jbA). While you may not agree with the verdict, and the fudged the numbers a bit (wouldn't have been enough to change the final result according to their math), the amount of effort put into decoding that information is incredible.

NigaHiga is good. I watch both of their channels frequently.

Also, Pewdiepie. I like to watch him play the horror games and scream his head off. :D

And while I may not agree with all their outcomes, Death Battle is definitely one of my favorites as well.

I mostly watch peoples play video games, I guess moreso MP related stuff. I don't really watch too many people.

ChilledChaos (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCO5KTtyzcJK2R4VUhsCVYUQ) is my favourite, I rather like his sense of humour. And I feel he actually puts effort into editing his gameplay (every now and then perhaps too much) as opposed to just uploading unedited stuff which I find rather boring.

Mr Sark (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNPCx6BWK0ID6UKO1QicOmQ) is great. His editing is really great, I imagine he puts a great deal of effort into his videos. Great at little subtle things, and adding others POV in as well.

1.) The Amazing Atheist (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjNxszyFPasDdRoD9J6X-sw) is my favorite youtuber, and he has been for over five years. He means a lot to me because of the time I found out about him. When I was thirteen, I was angry that I couldn't be an atheist openly. TJ (The Amazing Atheist) was the standard angry atheist that was hard to like unless you sympathized with him. As I grew up, I matured a little bit, and so did his arguments. He realized that just ranting angrily wasn't the best marketing strategy and his presentation matured significantly. It feels, to me at least, that his content grew along with me and I'm probably one of the few people that have seen all of his videos, as I started watching them very early in his youtube career.

Anyways, aside from my personal connection with TJ, I find that his approach is very amusing because he is prone to yell and scream quite often, but his reasoning is almost always pretty spot on. I like the way he presents his logical progression and the general atmosphere he creates in a video.

2.) thunderf00t (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmb8hO2ilV9vRa8cilis88A) is an actual scientist who does experiments and debunks things in the media that are hyped up by organizations that didn't do proper research on the subject (like the plastic from air, the thorium powered car and solar roadways). In addition to that, he comments on things like feminism (anti), atheism, and general stupidity wherever he finds it on the internet. Though he uploads somewhat infrequently, his videos are always a treat and I can watch them several times without getting bored. They're well thought out, interesting and very nicely edited.

3.) The Young Turks (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1yBKRuGpC1tSM73A0ZjYjQ) is probably my favorite news channel. I watch it for about an hour a day, when I possibly can work it in, but I do have to admit that they annoy me as much as they please me. Sometimes certain personalities on the show have a failing in their presentation, but usually it's easy to dismiss their bias because its easy to identify, and most people can think for themselves XD

I highly recommend it as an entertaining news source that is at least not as bad as Fox (take everything with a grain of salt though. Especially in the shows about Ferguston, but no one did a good job there)

4.) Harry101UK (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUJXm3LMFLSEe_A2IBf8GwQ) has always impressed me with his portal parody music videos. They're incredibly well edited, his voices are close to the original and the content is rather creative. He's like Weird Al for portal XD

5.) Crash Course (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX6b17PVsYBQ0ip5gyeme-Q) is a great place to go to learn about history or, if you're like me, book recommendations. The host of the show is John Green, author of The Fault in Our Stars and he's very well read. I like going to his channel to see what he has to say about certain books (I fear no spoilers), and he hadn't pointed me towards a bad book yet.

I noticed that his presentations about history, though short, are surprisingly good in terms of depth and entertainment. He's only at the bottom of my list because I watch all the others so much that he kind of gets pushed away because I don't have time XD

I've been watching Smosh for years and years. The good ol' days when Smosh were silly and didn't have people edit their videos and what not. I'm still sticking around even if some of their videos aren't so funny or great.

I recently started to watch Markiplier. I can stand him, unlike PewDiePie. Can someone please explain to me the appeal of PewDiePie? I have yet to subscribe to Markiplier, but I'm definitely considering it. His Five Nights at Freddy's playthrough was awesome.

BRO FIST! (No, not really...)

You're all wrong. I haven't read a single one of your answers, but the things each of you listed are wrong, and you should feel bad for not knowing the four names I'm about to drop.

1. Game Grumps (https://www.youtube.com/user/GameGrumps)
2. penguinz0, aka Cr1TiKaL (https://www.youtube.com/user/penguinz0)
3. Let's Play (https://www.youtube.com/user/LetsPlay)
4. Extra Credits (https://www.youtube.com/user/ExtraCreditz)

Go watch them all. I'm not going to tell you anything about them, because you should already know, and you're stupid for not. You have remedial shit to catch up on, so go. Watch. Learn.

Win.

1. Markiplier: He is an awesome gamer who may miss a few things but tries to get everything. He plays random games, horror games, sometimes full Let's Plays, Happy Wheels, and some indie games. He also is very thankful and supportive of his fanbase. He does a lot of charity Livestreams, in which he sells his merchandise for 100% going to the charity of that particular Livestream. He also donates a lot to charity himself and goes to conventions rather frequently in different parts of the US.

2. BlastphamousHD Gaming: All right not racist but yes he is an African American and yes he screams, talks, and even plays off the stereotypical African American. He jokes about it himself. That being said it is hilarious when he gets scared or uncomfortable. He plays horror games, random games, and tells stories about his life. He also has a few little things like dubbing certain video game scenes, he has his own how to make five night's at Freddy's not scary, and he even has a song about Outlast that is pretty dang catchy. He also sometimes plays games with his friends or has his friends (or girlfriend) play games he knows will scare the pee out of them.

3. JonTronShow: He may not make videos as often as other youtubers but he provides quality entertainment not quantity. That being said youtubers like Mark don't have any less entertainment value for uploading regularly, to me it just means some people have a lot more to deal with and some people need a lot of time and prep to make something funny while others are just naturally funny. He does random games but most of them are obscure. He also does specials where he sometimes does something from his childhood (Halloween Specials).

4. RaedwulfGamer: He is another gamer who typical does horror but is not limited to it.

5. jacksepticeye: An Irishman who is very good at making funny content. He is a gamer that has about as many horror games as other games. He has lately done ridiculous games (meaning buggy, extremely wierd, etc.) He does some Oculus Rift things and Happy Wheels.

6. Chris Caine: Another gamer does a lot of RPGs, more specifically horror. He does obscure as well as well known ones and is entertaining to watch. He typically doesn't cuss and doesn't get scared as easily as some. He also tries not to miss thing in his playthroughs. He has his own unique style.

WELL here we go:
(I won't include previously mentioned youtubers)

1. JustKiddingNews - Pretty much just a bunch of people that react to and discuss news articles that are submitted to them. I really like these guys because they have very liberal belief that coincide with my own. They're also a really great, funny group of interesting individuals and it's great watching them interact.

2. Eat Your Kimchi - Run by a couple from Canada who have lived in Korea for about seven years, they discuss their experiences living in the foreign country and the social norms and culture there. They talk about a wide range of topics, from top K-Pop songs and Korean cuisine to more serious topics such as eating disorders in Korea.

3. Gordon Ramsay - Well. I like food.

4. The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows - A channel dedicated to filling lexical gaps, to give names to emotions we don't have a word for yet. I really recommend viewing some of these videos; they're really beautifully done and convey the meaning and emotion of the words well.
