RWBY Characters

RWBY Character

Name: Harper Benson

Age: 17

Appearance: Harper is fair skinned with freckles and permed, strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. She's tall for a girl, standing at 5'10", much to her chagrin. Most of the time, Harper likes to wear teal, green and brown. Her favorite and most often worn outfit consists of a teal tank top with green trim and brown shorts along with calf high brown combat boots. Color variations that are normal for her include white, pink and black, with infrequent additions of other colors.

She's well suited for close combat and has the muscle to prove it, and the scars to show off. She's got a very athletic, quick body that she's trained to be capable of hitting hard and dodging.

Personality: Harper has been accused of being shallow for a few of her quirks. She often complains of her height, because she doesn't want to date anyone shorter than her. In addition to that, she dislikes certain hair colors and stylistic choices, but besides these mannerisms she's fairly down to earth and reasonable. Most times, she's rather kind and exceedingly patient, though she will lose her temper when she's directly insulted. Her anger only leads to making her reserved rather than loud.

Brief Bio: Harper Benson was a remarkably unremarkable kind of person in the greatest part of her schooling. She is only exceptional in that she is very determined, and no matter how long it takes her to master something that's important to her, she can persevere. Her parents encouraged her throughout the entire process, though they weren't particularly wealthy. Because of the grades she achieved through her determination, and her combat scores, she was just barely admitted Beacon. Now admitted, she's more than excited; she's elated, and can't wait to prove herself.

Weapon: Harper uses a chain scythe (http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120617055958/tmnt/images/2/25/2190900-kusarigama.jpg) to drag enemies into close combat with her and often combines the weighted end as a beating tool along with her brass knuckles. The scythe can use some magic dust to cause explosions and set fire to things, while her brass knuckles use power to create more force behind her punches.

Name: Adrian Dantes

Age: 17

Appearance: Adrian has black hair that's rather fine. His hair hangs midway down his back that's kept in three thin braids that are kept in a ponytail at the base of his neck. His skin is rather pale for his race, as he appears to be of oriental descent. He's moderately tall, standing at 5'11". Usually his garb reflects his heritage, wearing a traditional black linen Mao suit and wide legged pants with thin, black shoes and support bandages for socks which go half way up his calf. He has a small nose, thin, smallish lips, and almond shaped brown eyes.

He wears a jade [url=http://www.dhresource.com/albu_463754702_00-1.200x200/2013-new-products-in-europe-and-the-exaggerated.jpg]earring[url] on his right ear that looks like a reposed snake. (Imagine the silver/steel/pewter/whatever metal that is as jade, please.) His nails are painted black.

Adrian has a rather thin frame and obviously is concerned, in combat, with striking quick to avoid being hit, as it doesn't look like he could withstand much damage.

Personality: Adrian is usually quiet, but likes to think he's big with the ladies. He actually does attract a good amount by playing the classic bad ass and showing off a lot. His free time is usually spent either on a date or training, though the latter is much more frequent than the former because of motivation rather than lack of opportunity. Many of his teachers consider him a bit of a prodigy, though he's in good company at Beacon. He's certainly let the praise go to his head, and he can come off as arrogant and full of himself easily.

Brief Bio: Both sides of Adrian's family are filled with hunters and huntresses as far back as one could care to trace the genealogy. It was no mystery to Adrian what he would do with his life when he grew up. Much of his childhood was spent with his mother and father taking him on missions to destroy creatures of Grimm and teaching him techniques. When he wasn't training his body to become faster and stronger, he was reading whatever he could to learn about the weaknesses and strength of documented creatures of Grimm.

Much to his family's chagrin, Adrian always was more interested in a date than being a hunter, but luckily for his the sake of his family's reputation, he learned that a successful hunter had no trouble impressing a girl. That caused his motivation to be a little misplaced, but he out shined all of of the people in his village (which isn't saying much compared to Beacon or a big city), which led to his superiority complex. It was expected of him to attend Beacon and he joined, making the top five of the initiates. (Which I guess there are only like twenty to thirty initiates at a time, right?)

Weapon: Two bladed fans that uses Dust to activate a huge wind, though he only implements that technique rarely. He usually utilizes his fans to slash his opponents and deflect attacks. The Dust ability is useful for deflection and escape.

Pokemon Characters

Name: Aiden

Age: (Human years to keep it simple) 17

Species: Roserade

Level: 11

Appearance: Aiden looks very much like a normal shiny Roserade in most regards, but he has human ornamentation. He wears a dark purple cape when the weather is bad and has a pewter bracelet with a blue stone in it that is usually obscured by his flowers.

Bio: Aiden was abandoned by his parents because of his abnormal color, but he was able to subsist by receiving protection by the nearby Floraroma town who saw him as a blessing. Though the town squabbled considerably over this, everyone promised not to capture Aiden and rather share him among everyone. He became especially close to a local musician and would go on to actually learn to play the piano. When alongside the musician, Aiden evolved into a Roselia.

His sister, Desdemona, later discovered him and she began to live alongside him in Floraroma town. Her passion was to battle, though, and she became very strong and attracted outside trainers to meet her once she became famous for her talents. This influx of new trainers caused endless problems for Aiden, and though she wanted to, his sister could do nothing about it.

Because it was dangerous for him in his hometown, the musician advised Aiden to run away and avoid capture. He gave Aiden the dawn stone to use at his own discretion and then Aiden fled, never returning.

Personality: Aiden is a considerably kind person who, though not strong, would like to somehow accommodate everyone. He doesn't put up a fight unless his life is legitimately in danger, and even then he does so reluctantly. One of his favorite sayings is "Whatever will be, will be" or "Que sera sera" (the French translation). Being a shiny has made him into a considerable recluse because he fears their prejudice.

Name: Demitrius, or Dim for short

Age (in human years): 16

Gender: Male

Species: Drifblim

Appearance: (if different from normal shiny) No difference

Bio: As it is normal for Drifloon, Dim was left to fend for himself after hatching. As most ghost Pokemon are left alone by predetors, Dim was by and large left alone. The only threat to his existence was other Drifloon. They picked on him and ridiculed him for being so different in color. Because of this, Dim became a social recluse and tried very hard to hide from others, mainly members of his own species who have proved themselves to be so malicious.

Personality: Dim is quiet and ditzy, as well as a bit socially awkward. Contrary to what his nickname might suggest, Dim is rather bright. He's quick to pick up on new information and store it, but doesn't always use the information in the most appropriate of ways, if at all. He never had a prolonged friend, but isn't entirely jaded to the idea of making new acquaintance, though he's slow to approach others and afraid of rejection.

AU Characters

Name: Neculai, addressed as King Neculai of Romania, belonging to the house of Basrab

Race: Romanian

Age: 26

Height: 6’1”

Weight: 160

Hair: Neculai has dark brown, almost black hair that is very thick and somewhat long, nearly reaching his shoulders. It’s well kempt by the standards of the time, and he takes time to brush and powder it each day to keep it looking nice. He also maintains a thin, well-trimmed goatee that is just long enough to gradually slant to a point.

Eyes: Icy blue

Skin: Somewhat pale compared to the peasantry, but slightly olive because of his heritage. Also, he’s somewhat of a sportsman and gets a bit of sun during his outdoor excursions.

Build: Neculai is muscular, though he’s never himself partaken in any war. He plays sports with some of the attendants in his castle and likes hunting for sport, as well as horseback riding. He’s in shape, though not impressively athletic.

Clothes: Neculai wears the garb typical of nobles, but instead of building his outfits around stereotypical regal colors, he’s done away with some of the conventions. Mainly to spite his father, whom he harbors a dislike of. Therefore, forgoing the typical reds and purples, Neculai wears a lot of green, black, silver and, because he is still the king, gold. Though his outfits often change, he usually wears a velvet green robe/cape with golden embroidery and trim. His tunic is black and his undershirt a dull gray, though it rarely shows because of his cape. His tunic goes just past his thighs, and then green tights appear down to his black and gold shoes.

Accessories: Neculai has an ornate golden pocket watch with his name engraved on it and a crown with his usual colors on it, though he’s not fond of wearing the crown.

Powers/Skills(If Applicable): Erm, I don’t think so.

General Personality: Neculai is considered by the vast majority to be a great improvement to his father’s reign. The first order of business under his leadership was to tone down the spending inside the castle, including the restrictions on the royal wardrobe budget and cut on castle guards/military. He reallocated this spending to infrastructure for his country, creating new roads and better trade networks. He also begun incremental steps to abolish serfdom, though he’s not too ambitious on that goal for fear of revolution.

Neculai wants to be able to put his subjects first in his considerations, and himself second. Of course, he does fall prey to the multitudinous royal’s folly before him by being occasionally blinded by his vanity without realizing it, but he does do his best (in his own mind) for his people. His temper is slow to escalate and he’s even handed in most of his dealings. Even by those who don’t approve of him, per say, it is widely admitted as fact that he is more kind than his father.

Along with his progressive attitude, Neculai is interested in philosophy and discourse. He will listen to any proposition, nearly, except for conversation about his father. Whether positive or negative, Neculai’s biggest pet peeve is any mention of his father or anything under his reign. Most people in the castle have learned through trial and error or hearsay the greatest mistake to bring up around Neculai and have adjusted accordingly.

Background: Neculai, like many up and coming Romanian royalty of the time period was traded away to the Mongols for the largest part of his childhood and reared by them. (The practice was a practice to keep the peace) He was cared for well while Romania remained at peace, but his father thought his son’s safety was negligible and launched an attack on the Mongol capital that held his son.

By luck or a miracle, Neculai escaped and returned home. Though it was troublesome for his father to explain his actions, the incident was excused and Neculai, now sixteen, spent the remainder of his time in wait for the throne in Romania. He managed to sneak out of the palace regularly and visit the people he would one day reign over. His father’s negligence towards his people inspired Neculai to focus on fixing what his father ignored.

Biggest Influences: His time spent among his subjects as a child, the Mongolian system that put more emphasis on philosophy and the well-being of its citizens (though confusing with their warmongering nature, that’s true in some ways xD), ignoring the affinity for fighting. He also has made it a point to prove himself a better leader than his father.

Positive Attributes: He genuinely cares about his subjects, is fairly intelligent, and is competent.

Negative Attributes: Neculai is not immune to the egomaniacal nature that is the vice of many members of the royal house who came before him. He also sometimes ignores the complaints of his subjects/servants, convinced that he’s the one who knows what’s best for them, ultimately.

Pokemon Trainers
Name: Zane Lexer

Age: 23

Height: 5'8", and somewhat insecure about it to boot.

Weight: 140lbs

Hair: Zane has longish black hair that goes just down to the small of his neck. It's thick and makes a general nuisance of itself whenever possible. He brushes it infrequently and seems to all eyes not to care at all how wild it is.

Eyes: He has prominent eyes which are light, icy blue with thick lashes.

Skin: Zane, being a creature of the night, is rather pale. He despises working by daylight, and he's bound to a desk half the time anyways.

Build: Zane enjoys working out with his Pokemon when training and hiking to isolated grounds, so he's fairly muscular.

Clothes: In most circumstances, Zane can be seen with a black ankle length duster, a white button up shirt and black dress pants and mid-calf combat boots. He believes that he should always look his best, and isn't bothered by the somewhat restricting gear.

When appropriate, Zane will wear his Team Rocket outfit with some modifications. He keeps his boots and his duster, wears the standard pants and changes the black top with the red "R" to a white sleeveless shirt with the same insignia.

Accessories: He sometimes wears the standard black Rocket hat, but says he doesn't like to because "it messes up his hair." In addition to that, he has a watch with video chatting capabilities and direct access to Giovanni whenever he needs it.

He has a black belt with his Pokeballs attached to it and a wallet chain hanging off of it and going into his back pocket.

General Personality: Zane's easy going for the most part, and his only retaliation is a lazy sarcastic remark if he has any retaliation at all. If it weren't for his competence when he's given orders, he would have never raised in the ranks. By himself, he has zero motivation or initiative, making everyone think of him as the laziest officer in Team Rocket. They're all right, in one light. He loves to go off on little adventures and explore, but as far as getting work done . . . Unless supervised and micromanaged, forget it.

He joined Team Rocket because he thought it would be an interesting change of pace, and he even contemplated helping the authorities in his early days. Those do-good notions soon left him in exchange for the thrill of the criminal life. Even in Team Rocket, he isn't the typical selfish member. Granted, he doesn't have the strictest morals of anyone, but he's determined not to step on innocent people no matter what.

Background: Zane was a very popular person in his home town, liked by quite a few for his easy going and forgiving nature. He had a very hard time making friends he was interested in, though he had no enemies, mainly because everyone had a very easy time staying on his good side. In fact, most people never learned he had a bad side until Zane began to hang out with Mark.

They fought and competed with each other ever since the first day that they met, and Mark was the only person Zane wanted to be his friend after they began to hang out. He didn't necessarily force any of the others away, but they just didn't show up because they had no desire to be around Zane while he was with Mark. Those two were just an explosive combination.

Everything Zane did he did to show Mark that he was just as good, if not better than him. Sometimes the lines between friendship and rivalry were blurred, but Zane and Mark always understood each other on some level. When they set off on their journey, it was a given that they would travel together. They had a lot of fun, but one of their arguments led to either Zane or Mark, Zane couldn't remember which, to swear to become better than the other and storm off. Since then, that promise has been in the back of Zane's mind, and he's determined to fulfill it.

Name: Desdemona, Des for short

Age: 15

Appearance: Desdemona has short platinum blonde hair with lavender eyes and usually wears and icy pink lip gloss. Her skin is somewhat fair, but she tries to tan as much as she can. Her frame is thin and she dresses in the most modern fashions, leaning towards pastel colors. Though she admires the fashion models and actresses wear because of her affinity towards the arts, particularly dance and theater, her wardrobe has an practical, athletic tenancy.

Her nails are always painted, usually some kind of pastel, and she's always wearing shoes that are appropriate for dancing.

Brief Bio: Desdemona's mother was an actress in her glory days, and though a Pokemon trainer at heart, Desdemona has a soft spot for any kind of theatrical pursuit. Her father, a rich business man, has always funded Desdemona's whims. She's taken karate and yoga, but stuck with neither. She tried every sport the local school had to offer, but never excelled. Her love revealed itself in dancing and acting, and she specializes in ballerina styled dance. Despite her flighty nature, she's honest to a fault and kind at heart. Her tendency to cry at the least provocation gave her a reputation for being a cry baby at school, but her nature won her a few good friends.

Personality: Desdemona is a kind and generous person, the latter being much to her father's chagrin. She's rather materialistic and is known for being naive and gullible, but ultimately a kind person. If she was met out of context, people would scarcely guess her family's wealth or prestige.

Starter: Treecko

Favorite type: Normal

Team so far: Treecko, Clefairy (a gift from her father)

Dream team (optional): Roserade, Clefable, Milotic, Sableye, Gardevoir, Gorebyss.

Career (trainer, breeder, coordinator): Coordinator, with an interest still in making her Pokemon strong.

Name: Lucien

Age: 17

Appearance: Lucien is the older brother of Desdemona, and shares many features with her. His eyes are the same lavender, his hair the same light blonde, nearly white. His fashion choices are slightly different, however. He usually sports a black leather trench coat in cold weather or a light black duster in warm weather. He wears white gloves that almost match his pale complexion, and his attire speaks of intimidating functionality.

All his Pokeballs are luxury balls, which he wears on his belt to showcase his wealth. His allowance from his parents is not sparse by any means.

Brief Bio: Though raised with the same affection as Desdemona, Lucien took more after his father. His friends were only those who he didn't dislike too much from school. The only ones who spent their time with him were those who wanted to somehow siphon his wealth just by being in his company. He never entertained at his house and focused his time in school studying history or business to the fullest extent of the school's ability to teach. He made a reputation for himself as being ruthless, and any of his peers would agree that he and his sister are as different as any two people could be. However, he has a soft spot for his little sister and her friends.

Personality: Lucien is a ruthless, no nonsense type of person who thinks that he has no need for companionship. He chiefly wants to convince everyone else that he doesn't want any friends, and hopes that they'll believe him. As a rule, he's a quiet person and is given to spending his spare time to training or reading, mostly reading.

Starter: Treecko

Favorite type: Steel

Team so far: Treecko, Magnemite (a gift from his father)

Dream team (optional): Aggron, Metagross, Bisharp, Magnezone, Sceptile, Skarmory

Career (trainer, breeder, coordinator): Trainer

Personality: He's very quiet and slow to speak, mainly because he has social anxiety. The fear of ridicule is enhanced by his self-awareness that he's a rather awkward person. His scores in the academy prove that he's very intelligent as a tactician, but he's yet to prove himself around his friends.
