Okay so we discussed this on MSN one night after telling each other how good we both where at stroy writing. This will be a boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love but they can't be together because they are from seperate ends of society. So now to start.

A young man of about 20 was working in a furnature making factory. Being a small town they relied on this place, as well as tourism, to survive. It was also a seaside town, so there was many retired couples and small families. The mans name was Luke. He had been good at furnature making since high school. Little did he know but they would be getting a new general manager from the main factory in New York. While everyone sat around talking about the new manager and what they think he would be like Luke kept working. He had to finish this table, if he did this would be the second piece he made a head of schedual. His workmates speculated that the new manager would either be some old guy who would change everything or a woman who would freak out the moment she got the tinyest bit of dust on her suit. Luke never joined in, he knew they would be wrong, after all they thought he would be lazy and not work, but instead he worked after everyone had knocked off.

His bright blue eyes watched the sand paper glide over the top of the table. He lifted his hand and whiped the sweat from under his jet black hair, which he always kept short. He was wearing his uniform, a simple dark blue shirt and jeans. His shirt was neatly tucked into his jeans. It was hot as usual today, being the middle of summer. He wanted to get home and have a nice cold shower when he got home.

She lived in New York her entire life. Always been a busy body. Nothing to that extent ever changed what she thought on life. She wanted to be happy, she wanted to get married, have kids, and live happily ever after like they do in the fairy tales. Of course though, that would be too easy for life. It was a lot that she had asked, just for someone to look after her, so she wouldn't have to work; let her enjoy her life, and enjoy the person she was to be with. Although, for Amanda, her life wasn't that easy. It was more complicated than anything. Much more complicated.

When Amanda got hired on as the general manager of the furniture factory she was estatic. She couldn't believe it, that she actually got a good decent paying job, and someone that realized her work ethics. Even though she knew it wouldn't last long, Amanda smiled to herself knowing that she wouldn't have to look for someone to cover her free time, when she wasn't working. The thing was, with being the new general manager of a store, she knew that she would be shipped off to run another store-- once she had gotten comfortable with the pieces that were spread out and set up for a viewing of customers, so they know what they're buying.

Little did Amanda know, is that she would be moving sooner than she though. Being always a city girl, she needed a chance of scenery somehow. And this was probably going to be the best change of scenery. When her boss came into work that morning, he announced that she would be moving to another location to run the store that was falling apart. One that needed more employees, and people doing their share of work. He thought that Amanda would be the best for that position so he shook her hand and congratulated her on the move, and in taking over a new store that could be her own in the new future.

On that bright early morning, Amanda sipped her coffee and sat at her desk slouching back, and reading the morning paper. Of course she was killing some time, and trying not to be so happy about her transfer. Though, you could tell she couldn't get rid of the smile-- and tomorrow would be a brand new day, where she would head to the new factory, to introduce herself to the workers.

The next day, after Luke had gotten to work he went to finish the chairs he had started the day before. He listened to his workmates excited talking, today was when the new mamager would start. "Great, more reason for them not to work" Luke said, after hearing it would be a female manager. He knew they would most likely check her out non-stop and not get any work done. It had happened before when they had a female worker a few months ago.

Luke stopped working as the PA system announced the arrival of the new manager. He sighed and went to the meeting room to hear what the new manager had to say fro herself. He sat near the back as usual, close to the door.
