The Fate Twister
11-24-2014, 01:08 PM
General Information:

Name: Kor Mignig
Age: 51
Gender: Male
Race: Human

Appearance:
He is very fat for a professional hunter, looking more like a sumo fighter. That being said, he is chinese by origin. He has several deep scars running around his right arm, and a big tattoo of a bowl of rice on his chest. ((Imagine this, but with the tattoo and all the other things that are not drawn: http://darkartist3.deviantart.com/art/Oni-Sumo-167836137))

Build: He is very tall, and even more fat. It would seem impossible for a warrior this big to be able to even move, but he apparently is able to walk. His left arm is very muscular.

Hair: He's bald.

Eyes: His left eye is plain white, while the right one is brown.

Distinctive Features: His right arm is missing, just a stump on it's place. He uses this to his advantage, having attached a big morningstar on the stump instead. He has a big tattoo of rice on his chest, and his left eye has a deep scar running through it.

Clothes / Armour: He wears a pair of big steel platelegs, and a small leather skirt on top of them, but doesn't wear any chest armor or clothing. The platelegs are very rusty, and broken in some places, but still very strong. He has a small shield attached to his left arm, bound by leather straps. On the leather skirt, he has a toolbelt, where he stores his bottle of alcohol, and container of rice.

Fighting Style:
He fights very fiercely, and will do anything to win. He's very slow, but makes up for that with his incredible strenght. He has a big morningstar attached to his right arm's armless stump. So while he only has one arm, he makes up for it with a very hard morningstar, with spikes on it's sides. His slowness is usually easy to exploit. He also does not like fighting with women and children.

Weapons:
"The Morning-Arm"
He has a flail-based morningstar attached to his arm, making it impossible to disarm.

"Turtle-Shell-Shield"
He also has a small shield made from several small turtle shells.

"He always carries a small bottle of strong alcohol with him, using it to access a "Drunken Master" style of Kung Fu."

Rice: He always carries a small container of rice and healing herbs with him, using it to access the "Eat Up!" ability.

Abilities:

The Drunken Master: Kor Mignig takes a sip from the bottle of mysterious alcohol, and becomes instantly drunk, flailing his morningstar around like a madman with increased strength, feeling way less pain, and randomly falling on his enemies. This ability stops pain. The attacks have a chance of crushing the target's bones. While the effect lasts, accuracy is reduced greatly.
(Charges for 1 post, ability starting on the next post after the original ability being mentioned. Once charged, Drunken Master lasts for 3 posts, preventing the feel of pain during it's duration, and once used, cannot be accessed for the rest of the fight. After the 3 post, Mignig is stunned for 1 post.)

Eat Up!: Mignig takes out a small container of rice with healing herbs, and eats some of it. This gives him a small amount of energy, and heals minor wounds. (Instant cast ability, can be used only twice per fight, and cooldown is 2 posts.)

Mad Charge: Mignig takes hold of his Morning-Arm, and charges towards the target like a madman. If successful, he hits the target repeatedly with it, causing heavy damage. (Charges for 2 posts, cooldown 3 posts, or "Eat Up!" ability.

Too Much Alcohol: Mignig keeps his bottle of alcohol slightly open, and an unbearable stench comes from it, and anybody who stands in 5 feet of it, will begin feeling uncomfortable. If one smells it for a long time (2 posts near it), he will feel heavy nausea. If one smells it for even longer, (3 posts near it) he will start to vomit, and if one smells it for any longer than that, he will start to vomit profusely, and possibly faint, if of weak heart.

Attributes:

The Way of the Belly: Because of his natural fatness, Mignig takes less damage from ranged and melee weapons, his fat blocking the weapon from reaching vital organs. This attribute also causes him to be very slow.

Gentleman's Rule: When Mignig is forced to fight against a woman or a child, he becomes more hesitant to fight, reducing his strength and speed. He will also not kill a woman or a child, even if he wins the battle.

Yīgè yǔ shípǐn: If presented with food, he will immediately attempt to take it, becoming more fast, and ceasing his attacks. If he gets the food, he will add it to his rice bowl, adding one use to the ability "Eat Up!". However, this allows him to be easily manipulated with food, and while he attempts to take the food, his defence will be greatly reduced.

The Great Morning-Arm: As the Morning-Arm is attached to his arm, he can only use his left arm even with the most basic things. This might be uncomfortable in some situations, reducing his strength slightly. This means, however, that the Morning-Arm cannot be disarmed.

May Death Take us Part: As he is loyal to his wife and family, he cannot be seduced by anybody. He is also hard to charm, but this becomes considerably easier if you're a woman or a child.

Biography:

Personality: Often misjudged by others because of his appearance, Mignig is actually a very sweet person. He would help anyone who is in need, and will not hurt a child or woman at all, if not in self-defence. Even so, he will not kill them. He loves food, especially the herbal rice his wife makes him. He also loves to drink, but does not do this near friends or family, as he does not want to hurt anybody by accident. To his enemies, (mainly males) he is a ruthless killer, who will not stop at anything to defeat them and preserve his honor. He also takes his honor very seriously, and will want to prove you wrong in combat if you decide to disrespect him. He doesn't condone fighting at his home, or in places where he thinks should be peace, and will plainly refuse to fight in peaceful places. He will not shed blood on such a place, and will only disarm you and knock you out instead. When he is not fighting, he removes the Morning-Arm, and wears a small wooden stump with a few ornamental red strings, instead.

Background: In a Chinese village of Chénshuì de Tāng Wǎn, a small boy was born to a rich and respected family. He was named Kor Mignig, after his warrior grandpa. When he grew up, he was known for his massive size for a child, and was planned to become a warrior. Once he became 16 of age, he was taken into training. The training conditions were horrible, and he was forced to kill a small weak old man by his trainer, by disrespecting the academy's leader. He then escaped to an another city, and lived there for the rest of his life as a trainer in a school of peaceful meditation. He met his wife, Ming de Yang there, and lived a happy life with her, getting two children. Unfortunately, his village got attacked by a nearby village, and his arm was severed in the process. When his youngest child got captured, he flew into a rage for the first time in his life, and attached an ornamental Morning-Star to his right arm stump. He then attacked the enemy village, and retrieved his son back. When he returned, he realized that he was a true warrior at heart, and helped his own village in defeating the battle between villages. He now earns a living as Master Mignig, teaching aspiring warriors to fight, and sometimes proving his worth at the Battle Arena. He rarely visits there, and mostly fights if his honor is challenged.
