So I draw things.
It's been a while since I've actually finished anything worth posting, but I'll show you some of my more recent stuff anyway, because, eh, why not?
Constructive criticism is always welcome. Requests are for close friends only, though. Sorry.
Anyway...

I mostly do digital stuff, but I'll occasionally scan in some traditional sketches, too.

Let's see here... June 9th was when I posted Ilya there to deviantART, and I recall working on it for a couple days beforehand.
Elia was posted more recently, but I started that sketch, like, sometime much earlier in the year. I wanna say around February/March. Which is why the style of it might look a bit dated compared to my newer pieces.

Updating this because why not. And oh look, they're both updates of old stuff!

Some of this stuff is like a month old, but hey, it's stuff.
The first is an update of a character I posted in the first post.
The second is something fun I did. It's an update of a really freaking old piece I drew (http://cosmicavelyn.deviantart.com/art/Are-You-Challenging-Me-294703523), in which I just fixed everything that bothered me... but I ended up changing so much that it may as well have been a complete redraw.

I really love YunKun for some reason. Maybe because Yunkun somehow reminds me of Aladdin from Magi, if you know what anime that is. XD

I do know who that is. I've only seen a bit of Magi, though, haha.
YunKun's design - or just Yun's, rather; YunKun is just the name I use to refer to both personalities - is based more on that of Luminous (or, at least my Luminous character) from MapleStory, if you've played the game (if you haven't, don't, it's really boring). I liked his design and concept, but his story was completely butchered, so I decided to salvage it with my own idea.

But yeah I can see where the concept comes from. Really awesome. I'm wondering what the story was behind him. Would really be interested to know. ~~

Well, for the sake of context: Luminous was one of the five heroes who fought the Black Mage. He was the one who attempted to deliver the final blow that ultimately sealed the Mage away, but the Black Mage sent some of his own magic into Luminous, corrupting his own light magic. So now, in the present, Luminous has the ability to use both light and dark magic, but in the story he also fluctuated between being calm and having a nasty attitude... which was unexplained and didn't make sense.

What I did was change it so it made a bit more sense. Basically, he's the type to travel around and stop baddies from using magic to do evil - since in my canon world magic is really scary and the majority believe that magic as a whole is evil, and he wants to change that view. He tried to do just that with a bunch of necromancers using dark magic for evil one day, and after stopping the baddies, he tried to stop the rite they had going... but something went wrong and a bunch of the dark magic channeled into the magic circle surged into Yun's body. It nearly killed him, and also corrupted his magic as well as his mind - his consciousness split into two, thus creating his alternate personality, Kun (hence, YunKun). Yun is the calmer of the two, and Kun is the more aggressive, but they're both good people at heart.

Elia's not really a kitsune, though - rather, he's a creature loosely based on the traditional fox spirits you're thinking of. Not all of them have 9 tails - Elia does because he's a particularly powerful brand of this creature.

Next is a joke sketch I've been working on of my character Ekene... dressed like the Courtesan from Talisman.
Basically the story there is we like to pretend the characters we use are our OCs. So, when I was playing the Courtesan, we decided it was Ekene.
So, uh... yeah.
