***Disclaimer*** I like people saying they like my pictures, but I LOVE people giving criticism (constructive or otherwise). Seriously, I know what the SOP is in this place, but please don't hold back for my sake.

So, if you happened to read the intro I made recently, you might have seen that I call myself a professional-amateur photographer. Like I said there, I'm still not confident enough in my abilities to come close to considering my shots to be of professional caliber, but I'm still proud enough of my shots to consider myself more than just an amateur. That said, I'm always looking for opinions on my work. I've made a thread like this a few times, on various forums, and while it never seems to take off, I figure it's always worth a shot. So, what I would like, in exchange for sharing this personal little view of my world, are your frank and honest opinions. If you're a photographer and can give a proper critique, I welcome any and all advice and will be more than happy to defend/explain my style if you ask. But even if you're not, for all you painters/sketchers out there, many of the rules of composition are common across all artistic disciplines. And, if you don't fit any of the above types, I'm sure you still know what you like and what you don't, so just share if there's something you like or don't like about a shot. Believe it or not, I sometimes find the opinions of Joe Generic and Sally Statistic to be more helpful than any professional review.

So, all that said, here's a taste of things to come. Below are a handful of some of my older shots. If it looks like people here want to see more, I'll be more than happy to comply and add as many more rounds as you all want to see, with some of my newer shots sprinkled in.

[EDIT]: So, fyi, no I don't edit my shots. Yes, I could make them look so much better with a bit of photoshop, I prefer to put my efforts toward taking a 'perfect' picture to begin with, instead of thinking about how I can mess with it later.
