Warriors of a Lost Clan [PG-13] IC

In a time far before the ancient cats that lived by a lake, lived another clan, one of the first clans to form. Before the four clans and before the ancient tribes. This clan was called Omega Clan. Once upon a time, a select number of cats disappeared and were never seen again... That is until they reappear back on the island, the night before a full moon, during the time of the four clans. How will they react to being in a new time? Will they decide to try and integrate into the modern clans? Or will they try to find out what happened to them and try to find a way back to their loved ones?

Frozengrass moved through the tall grass silently and carefully, he was with a few of his other hunters as they were together hunting a mammoth, among the other hunters was his apprentice Shallowfern, however they had split up to try and force the mammoth to move toward the main party. As Frozengrass moved quietly he noticed a strange wall of ferns that he had never seen before in their territory. As he moved through them, he came to a clearing with a great tree and huge amount of strange smells. At the base of the great tree he could see what only looked like a much, much smaller cat that appeared to have a starry looking pelt. When the strange cat looked at him he lost all of his vision and fell to the ground knocked out.

When he awoke he was in the same clearing with the same smells, however as he looked up the sky was dark and filled with stars. Disturbingly though the stars did not look the same as they usually did. As he looked around the clearing, he could see his clan mates, starting to wake up as he just did.

Pointedfang had been following Frozengrass and the rest of the hunters trying to corner the mammoth. She was the farthest behind in this party as she didn't like to be up close and personal unless there was something she could help with. She poked her head through the strange ferns taking in the strange smells after watching Frozengrass fall, she too fell.

She awoke trying to see which way to go, though everything seemed different and new. She was frightened and she stepped closer to Frozengrass hoping to find some comfort in his leadership.

FernShadow had been out and about in the wide open plains and rocky out crops, hunting for herbs to treat one of the sick and wounded cats back at the camp. there was bound to be something when the hunters returned, it was best to always be prepared after a mammoth hunt after all. She nipped off some stems of a plant and picked them up before padding further on. It was a quite day and even as she perked up to look around to make sure no unwanted attention or Predators were near by, it was peaceful and calm. Almost unusually so... She came to some ferns that she'd never seen before, the scent was so... odd and yet inviting. It made her back away and study it for a long moment. Was this a new plant? but from where? and how had it gotten here with out her knowing? she knew all the plants in this area... Slowly she started to shoulder her way in peering into the clearing beyond it with wounder until her eyes fell on cat sitting beneath a tall tree it was almost the size of... of a very young cat... Fernshadows eyes closed without her consent... When they opened again she was in the same clearing, dark but lit by the moon and stars and just like others she could tell that it was not the sky she knew. "Where are we?" She asked looking around to see some of her clan mates she knew well, but not her mate, not her kits. "Where are they!?" Frantically she looked around for a moment as if she'd find them in this strange place.

Evershade had been patrolling, mostly around the hunting party, a ways off so as not to get in their way, but close enough that she could keep an eye out for any unwanted guests for the hunt. And if something went amiss... well she could charge in to. Many animals ran along these plains and wooded areas, many of them could fight and hunt themselves, many where dangerous. She stopped and rubbed her nose before sniffing the air, her green eyes roaming over the plains before spotting something... she'd never seen before. Bright green ferns, standing out starkly against the yellow grass. What was this? Picking up the pace Evershade trotted to the strange thing and began to investigate. If any of her comrades noticed no one seemed to say anything. She eventually nosed her large head through and peered in at the small cat that greeted her before everything went black.

Evershades elderly form remained just a black splotch in the darkness under the glow of the moon. Despite all the others waking, The elderly warrior remained asleep.

IceShadow:
He was following his leader, Frozengrass, he helps to track down the mammoth they had been hunting down for quite some time now. They were closing in on the mammoth and his stomach growls in anticipation. He couldn't wait to sink his fangs into the mammoth, to eat the juicy beast. And he couldn't wait to haul his catch back to StormCloud, his mate. He wanted something to impress her, to show her his love, and by taking down this beast, perhaps it could get him there, even though he wasn't doing so alone. IceShadow's ears twitch when Frozengrass heads off one way and he goes the opposite way, to cut off the mammoth. IceShadow trips on a root, which wasn't there before, and he falls with a loud thump, blacking out. When he wakes up, IceShadow has no idea where is he and where the rest of his Clanmates are.

BlackFrost:
She slips through the forest, away from where she knew the hunting patrols were. She didn't want to disturb them or risk interfering with them, so she goes the opposite way that they had went. BlackFrost needed to stock up on herbs, especially before leaf-bare, and it was the perfect time to collect some thyme. It grew best during this time of year, before the cold frost, and BlackFrost knows just where to find it too. BlackFrost has been keeping an eye on her Clan, and knew some she-cats were expecting kits. Currently, there were none in the Clan, and kits were always good before the cold frost, to keep the Clan growing strong. BlackFrost doesn't realize how far she goes out when she hears a loud crack. BlackFrost straightens and jumps up, but only to fall back down again. There were ferns in the way and tripping up her paws. BlackFrost tries to slowly back out of them, not ever recalling the thorns, but it was too late. She was being dragged down, down into the thorns, blacking out instantly.

Spottedfang wasn't hunting with the other hunters because, mammoths wasn't really her forte. Sometimes she would be up for it but today was not one of those days. So she was hopping through the trees, keeping an eye on an ancient bird ( https://mimifee.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/prehistoric-birds-1.jpg ) that was trying to find some food itself. She just finnaly found a good moment to go. When she saw a flash, that made her hesitate. The cat looked around, when she didn't see anything. She shrugged and turned back to where her prey would have been, only to find her muzzle to muzzle with another cat about her size. Spottedfang opened her mouth to say something only to black out on the branch before such a thing happened.

When she awoke, she found that she was still in a tree. She yawned and was trying to figure out what was going out in it. When she heard a noise from the within the branches nearby, she smiled as she recognized the ruffling. It was of feathers and as soon as there was a blur out of the corner of her eye, she without hesitation jumped out of the tree. Not even concerned with the fact that she didn't recognize the bird, but as it turned when it realized she was there. She grabbed its' wing in her fangs biting down hard, pulling it back under her as it began to struggle. She managed to dig her claws into its' back, they both landed and the bird cried out. She bit at its neck as hard as she could breaking its' neck. Once that was done she looked around to her clanmates then back to the bird trying to figure out why she had never seen this one before.

Shallowfern was doing everything he could to stay by his mentors' side. It was his first ever mammoth hunt and he wanted to do well, but his paws were itching for action. Even so he did his best to restrain himself, though he found himself biting his lip at one point. Which hurt but he remained silent and by Frozen grass even when he went into the strange plant. He blacked out without realizing what was going on. When he awoke he was with his clanmates, what confused him though was why more then just the cats from the hunt were there and jumping when Spotted fang with an odd looking bird. The young apprentices' curiousity got the better of him, "what is that?" He asked softly, getting up and headed over to the odd looking bird.

Frozengrass looked around at his clan mates and when he tasted the air for scents it was enough to make the hair on his back rise. However he kept calm for he knew that wherever they were, it was not home. He walked over to Fernshadow and put his tail to her shoulder to calm her. "Fernshadow, calm yourself. Your kits are not here, frankly that is because here is not home. There is something strange about this place. I can taste the scents of a great many cats, all of it stale though. I need you to make sure everyone here is awake and calm as well."

With that he then walked over to his apprentice Shallowfern who was by Spottedfang. "I do not know of what animal that is and I have been hunting for a long time. What I do know is that this place is different, it is not home nor any place among our territory. This place is strange and most of the plants here I have never seen, though they look slightly like what we have at home. Spottedfang, I want you to keep hunting among these spots here, take Pointedfang with you. Shallowfern, me and you are going to take a look around to see whats on the other side of these plants."

He then walked over to where Iceshadow was, who was in a more slightly secluded spot. "Iceshadow, just a few tail lengths away is a clearing where some of us are waking up, I want you to find Blackfrost and see if she can't help Fernshadow wake up the rest of the clan and make sure that they're calm. Once that is done, I want you to stay close to them and keep them safe. Based on the scents of the area, we're somewhere unknown and I don't want any surprises." Frozengrass looked up to the night sky and saw an almost full moon, probably only a night away from being a full moon.

Spottedfang looked at her catch and sniffed it, "it is covered in feathers like birds but I have never seen one like this." She stated before listening to her leader and bowed her head, "of course." She said and walked over to Pointedfang, "ready to see what new prey we can get?" She mewed up to her clanmate.

shallowfern nodded sticking close to his mentor, both excited and nervous about what maybe to come. His ears down as he thought aboyt everyone, he looked up. "Frozengrass, I wonder if my sister is going to worry?" He mummbled

Pointedfang looked back at Spottedfang and nodded, "very ready." She said and looked around for a moment. Her nose caught the scent of a fairly good sized food source and she pointed her head in the direction it was coming from. "Lead the way." She said looking back down at Spottedfang.

Frozengrass looked to his apprentice for a second. "Do not worry, we will be home before they have time to worry. The clan knows how to work without their leader. Not to mention there are still some medicine cats back at the clan. They'll survive till we get back and we will get back soon. Now come, lets see if we can't figure out where we are." With that Frozengrass led him forward through some more of the plant life.

As they walked for about a minute or two, they came to a log that from their side to another side over a small water source. As Frozengrass looked side to side, he could see what appeared to be more water and made him think of what they might be on. "I think we may be on a small island next to the coast line of a lake. We'll have to follow this coast line though and see if it simply goes in a circle. However I have a feeling that, the clearing we woke up in, is simply the center and that the island it's self isn't very big."

As he opened his mouth he could smell the slightly fresh scent of cats, they smelled kind of like the big fish that they hunt back in their territory, however slightly different at the same time. He figured that maybe their scent was being carried by the wind and that they weren't in any immediate danger to possible hostile strangers.

Fernshadow looked to Frozengrass before looking at her paws. Her kits where not hear, however even with his comfort it did not make her worry any less. "Yes, frozengrass." she said quietly before watching him walk off with his Apprentice sticking close to his side. She watched as others of her clan mates that had somehow ended up here to, going off to investigate as well. She finely sighed before peering down at the few herbs she'd gathered before coming here, Picking them up she stored them near to the tree before padding over to Evershade and gently nudged her. "Evershade, Evershade you need to wake up." She said quietly checking the elder over encase she had any injuries as she roused. "hum? what? where am I?" The elder yawned showing off her elongated fangs to the moonlight before blinking her bright green eyes around. "We... are not sure." Fernshadow answered truthfully. "Frozengrass has gone to look around, It seems that only a few of our clan mates are here with us, in this strange place." Evershadow stretched before taking in her surroundings.

"So it seems." She said calmly before looking to Fernshadow and sensing her distress, nosing her gently. "Be calm young one, your kits and Mate are strong they will know you are alive and well somewhere and wish for a triumphant return." She said with an affectionate growl. The healer only nodded again to the elder before the warrior yawned once more. "Now, where did Frozengrass go? you said to look around? who else is with us?" She asked looking around.

[Arcus]

Spottedfang purred and nodded, her tail twitching in anticipation. She may not have been in the mode for a mammoth hunt, but she was excited to see what this strangeland would offer up for them. So took a deep whiff and headed off in the direction of the new scent.

shallowfern nodded, sighing still a little worried about his sister. Even so looked over listen to his mentor, "what is a lake? Is it like a big pool of water?" He said, so far pools of water were all that he had known. Then smelled the other cats, "why do those cats smell kinda like fish? It is odd," he mewed his thoughts.

Pointedfang followed Spottedfang closely, keeping watch to make sure that nothing was watching them. She sniffed the air cautiously, smelling her clanmate and the prey that they were after. "Spottedfang," she half whispered, "do you smell anything following us?"

Frozengrass purred with amusement at his apprentice. "I forget that you have not seen as much as I have. Anyway you would be correct, a lake is basically a really large pool of water. As for why they smell like fish, well I would stand to guess that maybe they eat a lot of fish. Just like we probably smell more like mammoths since that is what are hunting parties usually bring in with the occasional bird and fish. Anyway come, come. We should see more of this island as soon as we can so that we can get back to the others and discuss a plan."

With that Frozen grass then led his apprentice along the coast line slowly working along it.

IceShadow:
Though he was still confused and had no idea what was going on or where he was, he was glad that the rest that were on the hunt and Frozengrass was with them. It would keep them all together in this strange place. IceShadow starts sniffing around, treading lightly and carefully, unsure of where to put his paws and not wanting to misstep again and land somewhere new all over again. IceShadow wasn't sure where the clearing was that Frozengrass was talking about though and he tries to sniff out where the clearing was at, and he couldn't tell where it was. There were too many wild and unfamiliar scents in this land, and it was all very confusing. IceShadow starts making a path though and he eventually finds BlackFrost laying on the grass. IceShadow picks up speed, racing over to her, his heart pounding, afraid that she was dead. When IceShadow reaches her, he relaxes, seeing that she was breathing, and he nudges her slightly. "Blackfrost..wake up.." he nudges her again and she stirs awake, blinking her eyes in confusion. "What..what happened? Did I fall asleep collecting herbs?" Blackfrost gets to her paws and IceShadow gives her a grim look. "No one is sure what happened..but we're not home. Come on though, Frozengrass and the rest of our hunting trip is at least here. Let's get back to them and try to find the others." Blackfrost eye's grow wide with fear, though says nothing, but picks up the thyme that she luckily salvaged before she passed out and follows IceShadow back the way he came.

[Arcus]

Spottedfang stopped for a moment and sniffed the air again, "I don't know. Everything here smells kinda odd, she looked around. Before adding, "I can check up in the tree if you want. You'd be surprised if you what can see from up there." She mewed knowing a lot of her clan was to big and heavy to climb very far up trees.

Shallowfern looked out on the lake for a moment, trying to imagine how they could catch enough fish to smell like that. He imagine a clan like his, only this one had fins and stuff to make them move faster. This made him want to laugh at how silly they must look, but he didn't want to suddenly want to be attacked out of no where by cats like that either. So after his mentor, "huh... we aren't going to get attacked right?" He mewed softly.

Pointedfang sniffed the air again and looked to the tree that Spottedfang was talking about. "It would be helpful if you could see anything but if I get attacked then it would be hard for you to get down quickly enough." She sniffed the air once more to find that they prey they had been following seemed to be on the move. "Let's just get going, I'm hoping we'll hear them coming, or at least smell them." She pushed her head forward motioning for Spottedfang to just keep moving and find the scent again.

[NnightStalker]

"I wish I knew, trust me I really do. However we are Omega Clan, we are the strongest and if they make the mistake of attacking us, well we won't go down with a fight. However do not worry, I'm leader for a reason, I've brokered both peace and war in my time and I will continue to do so. Plus you're my apprentice, I wouldn't let anything happen to you." Frozengrass continued to have his apprentice follow him.

Fernshadow shook her head at the old cat, about to answer before hearing some rustling elsewhere. Was it more of their clan mates? Evershade caught it to and faced that way in which she could hear the sound. "Hello?" she asked padding foreword boldly to peer into the darkness her nose wasn't what it had been but she was sure that two of their clan mates where close by, making their way to them. "Hello?" Frenshadow called quietly. "Who's there? Anyone else form omega clan?" she paused both she cats perking their ears foreword to listen for a reply.

IceShadow:
He leads the way back to where they were holding up camp, or at least, where Frozengrass and some of the rest had appeared and woken up. IceShadow perks up his ears when he hears two cats calling out. Because of the new place, there were a ton of foreign smells that he couldn't pinpoint exactly who was there and who wasn't, but he recognized the voices as Omega Clan. IceShadow lifts up his tail and picks up some speed to clear away the trees and sees Evershade and Fernshadow. "Evershade! Fernshadow! We're here!" He goes up to them, Blackfrost behind him and staying silent this entire time, but dashes over to them with him. The sight of Evershade and Fernshadow made Blackfrost perk up as well.

[Arcus]

Spottedfang chuckled, "clearly you don't know how I hunt birds. But you have a point, lets continue." Then continued to sniff out some prey, her small body disappearing as they made their way into some tall grasses. Then she took off, coming back a few moments later with a small mammal in her mouth. "No clue what this is, but it is better then nothing." She mewed through the fuzzy tailed mammal, continuing to sniff out what Pointedfang may have been smelling.

Shallowfern always felt special, when his mentor brought up how he was the leader and he would protect him. He still didn't understand why the leader chose a kit like him as his apprentice but would try his hardest to make Frozengrass proud. So stayed close to his mentor and tried to not looked scared, was wondering what they would find and hoped that Frozengrass was right, that they would be able to find their way back home soon.

Pointedfang smiled at her small hunting partner when she came back with the fuzzy mammal. "Well it smells like food," she said tilting her head at the thing. "I smell something else, seems to be food as well." She rose her head a bit and sniffed some more claws digging into the ground. She crouched low to the ground, hearing it coming closer and getting ready to pounce. Her tail twitched anxiously, as she readied herself another smell caught her nose and she looked curiously over at Spotted to see if she smelled it too.

Frozengrass had led him and his apprentice around in a circle. "Well this is indeed an island, I suggest we get back to others, let them know what we found out." With that Frozengrass led both him and his apprentice back into the center clearing where it appeared that besides the two he sent out to go hunting, the others were here and awake. "I'm guessing that this is all of us, besides the two I sent out hunting. Anyways it appears to be we are on a very, very small island. There is a small log like bridge that connects to more land, and we detected the scents of possibly more cats off in the distance. I should add that these are not Omega cat's though. Which means we need to be very careful and we need to always have a partner."

The elderly Saber grinned as two more companions raced into sight. "A good sigh for old eyes, is there anyone else?" she asked while Fernshadow set beside the larger cat. "Yes, is there anyone else out there? I'm not sure we know who else is here." She said quietly looking at the other three. "Frozzengrass and Shallowfern have gone off to explore some of the area around us spottedfang and Pointedfang have gone off hunting under FrozzenGrass's orders." she said frowning. "So far us 8 are the only ones I know of." She couldn't help her own worry, her kits and mate back home! whereever that was.

Evershade gently rubbed her head against the younger cats side to comfort her. "I suggest we have a look around ourselves and make sure there is no one else here..." she suggested quietly as her black flank twitched and glanced up at the stars. She looked back down as FrozzenGrass back back thought. Her ears twitched as he explained that they appeared to be on a small island and there were scents of other cats. "Humm..."

BlackFrost:
She had a worried expression when Fernshadow told who was all here, it didn't seem like many of their Clan members where here and by this time, the ones that they left behind, must be worrying for the ones that were here. They must know something was wrong, especially if their leader never came back. She shakes her head to clear away her thoughts, they are wise and strong, and would know what to do. Besides, they would find out where they were and get back to them. "I think you might be right. As of right now, we are the only ones here, that I know of. In fact, I had been asleep until IceShadow was sent to fetch me." She turns around when Frozengrass comes to them and listens to what he has to say, Iceshadow next to her.

[Arcus]

Shallowfern spotted Evershade and started running, he jumped up on her or tried to at least. Clearly excited to see her, purring and rubbing his head against her. "EVERSHADE!" He exclaimed excitedly, he continued rubbing his head happily against her for a few more moments. Before he stopped and looked up at her with big eyes, "wait does that mean my sister is alone?" He asked softly, clearly upset at that thought.

Spottedfang nodded and moved to where she could catch the second scent. She crouched and licked her lips, only to be shocked when another small mammal with a fuzzy tail came out. Despite this, she forced herself to not hesitate and pounced. Taking it out in a quick swoop, then looked up and mewed. "Are there alot of small prey here? Or did we just happen to find the spot filled with them?"

Pointedfang chuckled deep in her belly after Spottedfang caught the small flying bird in her mouth. "There does seem to be a lot of small things," she said as she nodded. She crawled over to the tree slowly as she had seen another fuzzy tailed creature scurry up it and she caught one of her own. Though it wasn't nearly as gracefully as Spottedfang.

"For now we wait until we know more about this place. We'll stay here for a few days to make sure we have prey to eat. After a few days will start to send out two scouts for the day. As well, we must constantly have two guards at the part of land that connected to the main land. I don't want any surprises. Do we all understand?" Frozen grass asked, looking at the others making sure that they understand. After this he would send two out to the bridge, and he would have another go fetch the pair that were hunting. Him and his apprentice would take the first night.

Evershade chuckled as the young saber she rolled onto her side with the young one and licked his ears before he gave her that worried expression. She nosed him gently. "She'll never be alone." The older saber growled softly. "She's got the Clan and of coarse her brother will find his way back to her." She said with a smile before licking his ears again and listening to the leader give instructions. She nodded seriously before looking at Shallowfern and smiled once more. "Be strong little one, we'll get to the bottom of this strange happenstance." She said before getting up and stretching.

Fernshadow sighed and nodded before looking at the other medical cat with her. "Perhaps we should see if there are any more herbs here that... we recognize." she said looking around the clearing with doubt as she did not recognize anything here.

BlackFrost:
She listens to what Frozengrass has to say, her whiskers twitching in contemplation, but nods her head in agreement. It may not be the ideal set-up, but it was the safest and easiest to do until they knew more about where they were and what was on the island on them. They could never be too certain of what the dangers were on this island, even if they didn't find anything yet. She turns to Fernshadow and nods her head. "That's a good idea. We don't know what dangers we might face here and we must be prepared. I haven't spotted anything yet besides the tansy that I already had from our home. But there must be herbs with similar effects from back home. If this resting place ends up being our temporary camp, we are going to need a temporary storage," she stands up, anxious to explore the island while looking for herbs.

IceShadow:
His tail twitches back and forth, feeling a bit agitated and impatient. He didn't like being here and he works his paws furiously into the ground. He had no idea how long they had been gone, it was impossible to tell how long all of them have been asleep and the island was so weird and so strange, it was impossible to tell how many days it has been, considering the sun is roughly in the same position as it was when he fell asleep. He had to get back to his mate, she would be worried sick without him being there. IceShadow goes up to Frozengrass, wanting to do something. "This seems to be a good place for a temporary camp, until we find a better one on the island, or we get back home. We should start building dens and shelter. I can start to set it up and try to find a few more cats to start gathering bedding."

[Arcus]

Shallowfern looked up at Evershade for a moment and nodded, "thank you Evershade." He mewed, rubbing his head against the old sabers' leg purring gratefully. Before going back over to his mentor, he looked up at him. "While we stand guard tonight, could you teach me some more?" He mewed excitedly.

Spottedfang tried to bury it and said, "now we need to get something bigger. I maybe able to live off these small kills, but out clan no matter how small can't live off of prey this small for very long.

"Well for now let's just take these back," Pointedfang said placing the fuzzy animal down before talking. "We can at least tell the clan that there are only small things here, and figure out what to do from there." Pointedfang picked the fuzzy animal up again and started back the way her and Spottedfang had come from.

[NnightStalker]

Frozengrass looked at those who looked to him. "Good idea Fernshadow, you and Blackfrost go and look for some herbs here on the island Evershade, please help them. Just to warn you though, this place isn't very big at all. Tinier than our camp back home." He then looked over to Iceshadow. "I agree, we should get some shelter set up to protect us from the wind, and we will need bedding. For all of us laying together may or may not be enough to keep us warm. Before you do that though, I want you to find Spottedfang and Pointedfang. Inform them of what we have talked about here, and tell them that once they drop off the prey here in the clearing, that I want them to help you. Before we all head out, I want you all to remember one thing. We are Omega Clan, the first and only clan to roam and hunt. Nothing will stop us from being Omega Clan. Now you are all excused for your duties." With that he put the tip of his tail on the apprentice. "Come let's head to the log and guard. Depending on what you're wanting to learn I may teach you more." With that he started heading to the log, reaching it quickly.

Fernshadow nodded again before looking back at the small pile of herbs she'd gathered at home as well. "I brought a little as well but I do not think it will last if anything where to happen." She replied. Fernshadow had never been so troubled before and she found it hard to ignore the fact that over half their clan was not here... including her mate and kits. what had happened? to bring them here so far away from their own... She shook her head before looking back at blackfrost and nodded before looking at frozengrass as he instructed evershade to help them. The old saber saber nodded before facing the two medical cats, Now evershade knew tidbits about herbs, but not enough to gather them. She'd stick close by and carry anything or help find and dig things up, whatever the two needed of her. "Lets go then." The elder said before looking around and waiting for the other two to lead the way.

Fernshadow looked around, but nowhere seemed like the best place to go. She just started walking. "Do you think we'll have to test out some of these plants ourselves?" she asked Blackfrost worriedly.

BlackFrost:
Her whiskers twitch in anticipation and worry, she hadn't really thought about it until Fershadow had asked. Yet the question made sense and someone somewhere at some point in time had to have tested the herbs to know of their effects. "Well, hopefully, it won't come to that. There is bound to be a way around that, we will figure something out. And hopefully we won't come upon too many new herbs. Perhaps all of the scents are just masking them and we just have to find the ones that we know is all. We shouldn't touch any unfamiliar herbs and just be careful to double check the ones we do know." BlackFrost wasn't sure where she was going, but did have some sense of direction, and decided to go back where she woke up, to see if there might be any slight traces of some herbs there.

IceShadow:
He nods his head in consent, glad that Frozengrass agreed to let him go. IceShadow starts sniffing around the camp to pick up Spottedfang and Pointedfang's scent and even with all the confusing and new smells, he was glad to know all of his clanmate's scents well enough to pick them and he starts to follow their trail. IceShadow was hoping that he wouldn't get lost and yet Frozengrass said the island was small, which was a good thing, though he still worried a bit. This place was so foreign and unlike his home. He was counting on the fact that hopefully they didn't go far though.

Spottedfang nodded and grabbed her the two she had caught near there. Then headed back toward camp, until they ran into Iceshadow. "Hey, Iceshadow we have good news and bad news." She mewed through her catches, knowing they would be happy for food but not such small foods.

Shallowfern smiled and ran after his mentor, "anything!" He mewed excitedly, wanting to learn anything and everything that he could. Even his fear and uncertainty of what was going on couldn't control that fact. He jumped onto the log and looked around, to make sure nothing around them was moving outside of their clan.

Pointedfang set the fuzzy animal down in front of Iceshadow and purred softly glad to see her clan mate. "The good news is that we found food," she said as her tail twitched. "The bad news is, there seems to be only small prey here and it probably wont be enough to feed the clan." Pointedfang pushed the fuzzy animal with her nose towards Iceshadow to show him how small the prey was and then picked it back up again ready to follow him back to where the rest of the clan was.

Frozengrass:

Frozengrass looked to his apprentice. "You should be careful about being on top of that log. We do not know how stable it is, nor do we know who is watching." As he looked at the log, he thought about how tall he was to the log. "Ehhh... Never mind. Now that I think about it, even with you on the log, I'm still taller than you. Probably doesn't help with the color of my fur totally being noticeable in the darkness. Anyway would you like to learn more about fighting, hunting, of the history of our clan."

Fernshadow nodded, glancing back at the elderly saber who was keeping pace with them. Evershade always did make her marvel she seemed so old and yet she still help so much energy. She turned back to look at blackfrost as she lead the way. As much as she wanted to believe the other cat, that the scents were just masking anything familiar... she doubted it. She could tell that there were trees and under growth and grass but she couldn't name any of them. "Perhaps." she agreed but still found herself doubting, She knew the herbs they had managed to bring with them wouldn't sustain them at all if anything where to happen. If anything though maybe they could find good leaves to bind wounds with.

"Hum... has anyone noticed that things seem... smaller here?" Evershade asked suddenly. "Even the trees seem shorter... or maybe they are just younger..." she said as she looked around, sniffing the air from time to time as she followed the two younger felines.

IceShadow:
He was glad that he didn't go far before Pointedfang and Spottedfang ran into him, though he was disheartened for their news of how small the prey was here. "Well, maybe we will have to look further or higher up among the island to find bigger prey. There's barely a morsel here to feed one cat, at least for us larger cats." IceShadow bends down his head to sniff at the prey before Pointedfang picked up. "We will have to try again later though. For now, Frozengrass set me out to find you, and he wants us three to start collecting bedding and some sort of barrier, to set up a temporary camp. We're staying at a clearing for now." He turns around, beginning to lead the way back to their "camp," hoping the work would keep his mind cleared of their situation for the moment.

BlackFrost:
She feels a shiver go through her spine when Evershade voices her thoughts and fears from her, but doesn't comment about it, not wanting it to be true. Though as she looked up and searched through the skies, she knew that Evershade was right. However, it did give her an idea, and a hopeful thought. "This island does seem strange, surely not all of these trees can be younger, you might be right..the island could simply be small..but..maybe that's the key. Maybe the herbs back home are larger than the plants here, so maybe we just need to look lower to the ground for the herbs." BlackFrost wasn't sure if it was a reasonable explanation or not, and it probably wasn't rational, but she didn't want to face her fears, not yet at least. "However, we are probably safe to split up slightly, though as long as we stay in sight of each other, we should be fine..." As she says this, she starts to veer slightly off the trail they were going and parts her mouth open, to try to make more sense of all the smells.

Pointedfang
She nodded to Iceshadow and put her catches down on top of the bird she had first caught when she woke up. So that they would have the start of a very small freshkill pile. Before turning to Ice shadow, "after we make beds and some sort of barrier. I will travel through the trees and see if I can catch more of these odd birds. As well as see if I can spot anything larger then what we caught without being seen." She mewed, before waiting for him to lead the way to where he thought the bedding would be. Though she looked around, "if we find any downed trees. Considering the size of these trees, there branches would make a decent barrier for now. What do you guys think?" She mewed.

Shallowfern
He was about to jump down from the log, when his mentor said it was actually ok for him to be on it. He smiled and ears perked at the mention of a possible story. He purred happily, "I would love to learn about all of that!" Before he mewed a little hesitantly, "but could I have the story first." Knowing that he probably shouldn't be so happy about possibly getting a chance to hear a story straight from his mentor.

Pointedfang followed Iceshadow and Spottedfang with the fuzzy animal still in her mouth. She was quiet as she kept watch around them, but nothing but prey and the clan scent caught her nose. "Are there any other cats beside our clan here?" She asked softly. "I'm not sure what other birds and things are here but we should be able to make due with catching small prey, at least for a little bit." She hoped that they would be able to, but she didn't voice that. She simply padded along behind the two cats in front of her hoping that they would be back soon.

Frozengrass watched his apprentice with amusement. "Well... many, many moons ago. Like before I was even born, there were many groups of cats like us. Some big, some small. Some lean, and some thick. It used to be that the only ones you could trust were your family. However when the great ice came it was decided we would all have to band together if we would want to survive. From then on, Omega Clan was born. However, we were still without a home, so as a clan we traveled, far and wide. Slowly over time we picked up more followers and more clan mates."

Frozengrass looked around as the wind picked up, as if even the wind knew of the stories. "Eventually, we found our home, among the ice. There was a thick forest among the land of ice. A place that had little life, so little that even the snow beasts stayed away. Naturally this would come off as a bad place to live, however as the clan came to find out, the place was full of prey, that only we would be able to get. Eventually the ice went away after many life times. By then Omega clan was strong and plenty full. Large prey and small prey were everywhere. However with the disappearance of the ice we had to learn to adapt."

Frozengrass looked at the water and could see what looked like a smaller version of the fish they would catch. He moved his paw in, catching the small fish and throwing it onto the ground in front of him. From there he leaned down and bit into the fish, killing it. "Omega clan is Omega clan though. We will adapt, and we will survive, against all odds. Even in a new place like this, if we can't find our way home, then we will survive here. We will adapt, and show whatever comes our way, that we will not falter."

Fernshadow glanced at blackfrost before looking to Evershade worriedly and finely back to the other medical cat. "I.. Suppose." she agreed slowly before watching her veer off a little before looking at Evershade who simply nodded and set down to look over the two as Fernshadow slowly went the other direction, crouching down and looking under bushes, smelling at the air to get a wiff of even something that was familiar. She really did doubt that they would though and her worry for her Mate and Kits only made her gut knot up more making it her for her to focus, as much as she shook it out of her head it kept creeping back in. What if something terrible had happened and the clan was dead? what if they where the only one's who survived? The thought made the fur along her spine rise involuntarily as she tried her hardest to focus and search for something they could use.

Evershade set between the two medical cats as they started their search, always swiveling her head to one of the other to keep an eye on them while her ears remained perked. Fernshadow did not seem to be faring well but the old cat was at a loss as to what to say to the young mother... What if something really had happened? Evershade couldn't just push it away and make it better with words. since they didn't know she could even prove that nothing had happened and that everything would be alright...

IceShadow:
He shakes his head to Pointedfang's question. "I have no idea, there seems to be some scents of cats around here, but how recent it is, it seems impossible to tell. I believe Frozengrass has a theory that there might be other cats here, but I haven't seen anything yet. Perhaps if there is, they could help us, tell us where the bigger prey is and whatnot." IceShadow brightens up when Spottedfang points out the log though and nods his head in agreement. "Perfect! That should work. Let's start looking around for some more, shall we?" With that, he bounded into the woods, still keeping his Clanmates in sight though, and starts searching for bedding and shelter.

BlackFrost:
Though she did not smell or see anything so far, her ears twitch when she hears a familiar buzzing sound and she looks up to see a bee nearby. She was a bit startled to see it though since even the bug was smaller than usual. She doesn't give up hope and pricks her ears to follow the buzzing sound as it gets louder and more frantic. Soon she was able to find the hive and a sinking feeling could be felt. This was a full grown hives and full grown bees. That meant that the trees had to full grown too. Yet everything was smaller and that scared her. How could the world that they knew suddenly just shrink? BlackFrost stretches up her paws and begins climbing the tree, shaking the branches a bit from her weight. The bees started noticing her and some were stinging her but she didn't care. At least with the bees being smaller, their stingers were too, and surprisingly it caused less pain as well. She holds onto the trunk until she was a bit above the bee hive before ripping off a smaller branch with her teeth before taking the branch and sticking it into the hive, disturbing more bees as they stung her. She swirls the branch into the honey with her mouth until she couldn't take the bee stings any longer and she drops down from the tree before dashing off, being chased down by the bees.

Shallowfern
He was on the edge of the log during the story, until he actually slipped off of the log and tumbled onto his back. Where he smiled brightly up at his mentor, "we will never waver!" He repeated happily and proudly, though he knew that he looked less than formidable. Especially on his belly, though he knew what was going on. Even so that would stop his pride of where he was from and the clan he would always protect.

Spottedfang
She yelped slightly as Iceshadow started running off, Spottedfang quickly took off trying to not get very far behind. Her legs were not as long as most of her other clanmates and she rarely forgot that but worked all the harder to keep up. As she ran, she attempted to find some bedding that they could use and saw that the fallen trees that were there, seemed to have alot of small balls of moss. "We have an apprentice right? I could gather these small bits of moss to make bed for me and him." She mewed

Pointedfang froze when Shallowfang and Iceshadow bolted off and she quickly ran after them catching up with them quickly. "Yes we have an apprentice," she said panting from the sudden burst of running. "I think that would be a good idea, what else could we use for bedding though? There are many leaves and things but nothing seems substantial enough to make bedding out of. Maybe we're just not looking in the right place yet." Pointedfang had never really made bedding for anyone before so she wasn't sure what to use, it was something she'd never even thought about before now.

[NnightStalker]

Frozengrass laid down on the ground and tucked his paws underneath his belly keeping them warm. He threw the fish that was in his mouth over to his apprentice. "Eat, you will need to keep your strength up, especially in a possibly hostile environment such as this. We have no idea who these other cats may be, especially since they do not have the scent of any other cat or animal we have met. I only wish our clan had stories to help guide us through this. However I fear none of the stories that we do have, were meant for anything like this. As far as we know, this is the first and only time, that this has ever happened to our clan." He lowered his head down and rested it on his paws.

He wasn't falling asleep however he was keeping track of the time. He was watching the stars, as they moved across the night sky. Continually hoping that maybe he would recognize something, however he never did. Wherever they were, they were truly alone, with only each others reliance to keep them surviving.

Fernshadow and Evershade where quick to take off after the other cat as she ran from the bees but they were much much smaller then what they were used to. "Quick! into the water and duck under." Evershade called it should warn the bee's away and hopefully make them stop giving chase. Even though they were smaller she didn't want to risk bringing them back to the rest of the camp.

BlackFrost:
The bees were buzzing, a lot louder now, and she can start to feel the sharp thorns of their stings. She barely hears what Evershade says about the water, before she drops her stick of honey, before diving into the water. It was icy and cool and was actually rather refreshing. She holds her breathe under water, the bees buzzing away from her, and the ones that clung to her pelt left as soon as she hit the water. They swarmed above her head for a moment before abandoning her and the honey that she stole from them. BlackFrost lets out a gasp as she rises above the water, she only had to really wade into the water and she shakes her pelt out of the water. "Thank you, I had forgotten about the lake until you said something. Saved my life from tiny swarming bee. I suppose we should get back to camp though now." BlackFrost was panting slightly but she remembers to pick up her well-earned prize of honey off the ground and leads the way back to the camp.

Fernshadow nodded when the other suggested they get back to camp, now that all the bee's were gone it was safe to do so. "I'll look over you once we get back to make sure none of them left their singers in." She said while Evershade padded along behind the two quite mostly as she kept her ears perked encase she heard buzzing again. "The honey was a good find... it looks the same as back home even if the bee's are much smaller." she thought thoughtfully..

BlackFrost:
She doesn't say anything since she was carrying the stick of honey again and didn't want to risk dropping it. It was a decent amount and she had gotten a large stick to carry all of the honey. It was a bit dirty since she dropped it on the ground, but that didn't matter. She managed to hold onto most of it until they got to camp. When they arrived back to camp, IcesShadow, Pointedfang, and Spottedfang had gathered a decent amount of bedding and stuff to build a shelter. She nods her head approvingly. Even though they didn't get much herbs, the honey was better than nothing, and now they had an idea of where to look. "I need somewhere safe to put this," her words were a bit garbled from the stick, but she wanted to drop this off safely before giving Fernshadow a chance to pick out the bee stings.

Fernshadow looked around with something of a frown. Normally she would have just picked a big leaf from some foliage or some such thing but all the leaves here where... far to small. This was not going to be easy. "We might have to make a bed of small leaves for it..." She said finely with a frown I haven't seen one big enough to properly wrap it up. She clawed at a few of the fallen leaves here before gathering them near where she'd dropped off the herbs she'd managed to bring with her and laid them out, over lapping them and making the bed thick but frowning as she looked over the work which didn't satisfy her in the least. "This will have to do I suppose until we find a better way to store it..."

Evershade settled down near where they were making the shelter. Not that she'd ever admit it but her age did seem to catch up to her once and a while.

Blackfrost nods her head and sets the honey down before settling down. With Fernshadow's help, they scoured through her fur for bee stingers and when they were done she lets out a yawn. The light was beginning to fade away and the rest of her Clanmates were beginning to settle down as well. She rests her head on her paws and begin to drift off to sleep. Tomorrow was going to be another long day before their camp was ready to go.

Fernshadow settled down next to Blackfrost and curled up with her back against the other, worrying about her family back and home and if she would ever see them again before she closed her eyes and fell into a restless sleep.

Iceshadow: Once he sees Fernshadow, Evershade, and Blackfrost return from their herb trip, he decides to call it quits for the day. The sun was going down and his group managed to collect a hefty amount of bracken, moss, branches, and the like. "Thanks for your help. I think this is good for now. We can start building it in the morning." Iceshadow stretches and moves away from the trees, his muscles slightly aching, before stretching out on the ground and going to sleep.

Shallowfern
He nodded and eat the fish, it was different from any other kind of prey that he remembered tasting. He wasn't going to complain though. Even he knew that here, he couldn't be picky; food was food after all. Even so the fish wasn't bad and licked his muzzle, after he finished. Before moving over to his mentor, laying down close to him. Before the apprentice groomed himself and soon fell asleep, despite himself trying to stay awake.

Spottedfang
She secretly wished they could have done more but knew that in this place, that only so much was going to get done at a time. So nodded and went over to the two small nests, pawing and messing with both of them. Until they both looked like it was as good as it was going to be, instead of falling asleep though. She bounded up one of the trees quick as a whip, soon a dead bird fell into the small freshkill pile. She wouldn't leave the borders of their temporary camp, but if she could help feed her clanmates with her skill. No matter how slight, she would do her best to keep their strengths up. It helped that it seemed like these creatures, weren't used to having something following them up into the try for long periods of time.

Pointedfang decided to lay away from the group a bit with her ears perked in case she heard anything. This was normal for her, and she was tired since most of the time she was on her own instead of with the ball of energy Shallowfang was. It was going to be a long night as she missed the safety of her old nest and the sounds of mother's putting their kits to bed. She let out a sigh as her head fell softly into the grass and she closed her eyes, it wasn't long before she had fallen asleep.

The starry cat who would know doubt be confused as a starclan cat began his search for the windclan leader, and finds them in their usual dream. "I bring you an important message leader of windclan. Who I am is not of importance. In the past we have always chosen you to aid thunderclan directly in the prophecies. This has always been due to the speed of windclan, you are able to travel the four territories in less than a day and still be able to find the will to help your comrades fight off threats, even when helping another clan. However your speed alone will not be enough for now a new threat has come to the four clans. One you have yet to ever see. Alone the threat may choose to roll over any clan it wishes. However if all four clans decide to stand together it may decide to leave you all alone. The time for peace between the four clans is at it's up most importance. Unite and survive, or stand alone and fall." With that the starry cat disappeared.

Greenstar watched and listened to the starclan cat, once the cat faded away. She woke up, with fur on ends and ready to fight whatever would threaten them. Then started grooming herself to smooth her fur, wondering what could be so mighty. All she knew was that, she would stand by her fellow leaders and hoped their clans understood as well.

Next was the Shadowclan leader. "I bring you an important message leader of shadowclan. Who I am is not of importance. In the past evil has always been attracted to you and has used you for it's own personal gain. With that you have learned how to move through the shadows, to scout ahead and find out whats coming before it gets there. However no amount of preparation can save you now, for now a new threat has come to the four clans. One you have yet to ever see. Alone the threat may choose to roll over any clan it wishes. However if all four clans decide to stand together it may decide to leave you all alone. The time for peace between the four clans is at it's up most importance. Unite and survive, or stand alone and fall." With that the starry cat disappeared.

Silentstar jolted awake with ears and tail twitching in confusion. He pawed softly at the cat next to him before walking off into the distance, it would be their watch until he got back from his venture. Silentstar walked for a long time before coming to a small river and taking a drink, "it seems to be the time for anything but war," he purred softly contemplating everything as he padded slowly back to his clan. He had no idea what he would tell them, other than the strange cat that had come to him in his dream spoke wise words.

He then went to the Riverclan leader. "I bring you an important message leader of riverclan. Who I am is not of importance. In the past we have always been proud to see you hold some of the most intelligent plans to ever enter the history of the four clans. However now a new threat has come to the four clans. One you have yet to ever been seen. Even with your exceptional plans, you will not be able to stand alone. Alone the threat may choose to roll over any clan it wishes. However if all four clans decide to stand together it may decide to leave you all alone. The time for peace between the four clans is at it's up most importance. Unite and survive, or stand alone and fall." He then left for the final leader.

Silverstar bolted up from her resting place. "W-wait come back!" But it was to late she was awake and the starry cat was gone. What was this? Why couldn't starclan just tell her what was wrong? She sighed as she licked at her shoulder fur to make it lay flat. There was no way she was going back to sleep now. Silverstar stretchered slowly before padding out of her den into the clearing of her camp and looked around to see that some where already starting to wake like she had. Perhaps she should told to their medicine cat....

When he found the last leader, the thunderclan leader. He was ready. "I bring you an important message leader of thunderclan. Who I am is not of importance. In the we have often chosen for your clan to hold those of prophecy due to your extreme honor. However now a new threat has come to the four clans. One you have yet to ever see. Alone the threat may choose to roll over any clan it wishes. However if all four clans decide to stand together it may decide to leave you all alone. The time for peace between the four clans is at it's up most importance. Unite and survive, or stand alone and fall." With that the starry cat disappeared, for a while that is.

Rowanstar wakes up with a start, his breathing heavy. The dream came to him in a rush and he realizes that he moved away from his mate, Cloudheart. His heart was pounding from the dream and fear was creeping up on him. He waits until his heart slows down before curling up to his mate, letting her presence comfort him. He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep after the dream and his paws were itching over it, but it was too early for him to talk to anybody about it, which was the first thing he wanted to do. Rowanstar would mull over the dream until the break of dawn and as soon as it was light, he would talk to his medicine cat about it and if need be, he would address the other clan leaders in the next full moon about this danger to come.

Frozengrass was sitting, licking his paw in order to clean himself better. Him and the rest who were not on watch were just relaxing in the clearing under the tree. They had spent all day today hunting, and making better nests with a slightly okay shelter. Making the shelter was pretty hard though considering how big everything was. His apprentice fell asleep during the watch, which was fine with Frozengrass since he knew that he still was not used to all of this. However by about high sun, he was awake and filled with energy as he helped everyone with building and hunting.

Frozengrass used that moment to take his own rest and only woke up at sun fall. Now though it was almost high moon. Soon he would choose two to go take the watch from the others. Currently those on watch are Spottedfang and Iceshadow. He was thinking of maybe having Blackfrost and Pointedfang go next. Currently, Blackfrost, Pointedfang, Fernshadow, Evershade, Shallowfern, and himself were in the clearing just resting after the tiring day.

He was just about to send them to take care of the new patrol guard when he heard a yowl coming in the direction of the guard. He instantly jumped up. "Omega clan, move to our brothers and sisters. Something has approached them in they have called for our attention. However wait until I say so to attack. We have no idea who or what has spooked them out and I would like to keep the peace if we can."

Silverstar had been contemplating the whole starry cat visiting her in her dreams with grave news all day. Her deputy had no doubt noticed and she wouldn't put it past her medican cat to have done the same. She sighed flicking her tail at the cats behind her as they neared the tree bridge, She planned on asking the other three leaders if they had had any similar warnings, the starclan cat had said all four clans must stand together. But what was this great danger?

Silverstar had leaped up to the edge of the Tree bridge, The first clan to arrive but shortly after setting paw on the bridge she Immediately sensed that something was off. The fur between her shoulders and down her spine began to rise, something wasn't right she could taste it, there was a scent here she'd never tasted, it wasn't Fox or Badger or... or anything at all it was like cat but not cat... She raised her tail to signal her clan that something was amiss before padding foreword Cautiously. "Who's there?!" She called when she was half way over the bridge Her silver pelt shining under the moonlight.

Shadowfern had been looking back at the measly herbs she and the other had gathered. Things were not looking good here, she'd found cobwebs but they didn't seem to be enough for any of her larger clanmates. She'd sighed heavily and laid back down to groom herself in silence when she perked at the yowl.

Evershade raised her head and perked her ears foreword before listening to Frozzengrass and picking herself up to dash to the aid of her clansmates.

Blackfrost jumps up since she just fell asleep and looks around. Her head was groggy and her legs were tired. Everything felt drained and she is annoyed that she yet got to sleep. She stretches and sighs before shaking her pelt to wake herself up. Frozengrass had called for help and she would answer it.

Iceshadow is on the bridge, watching and listening, and he perks and tenses when he hears the yowl before alerting his leader about the noise. He sprang to his paws to Frozengrass, alert and ready. "What is going on?" He asks Frozengrass, worry in his eyes, but ready to fight and protect his Clanmates and what he loves. He was ready to fight for his mate back at home, even though she wasn't with him, he would fight for her, until they were reunited again.

Shallowfern

the apprentice was trying to get comfortable on the nest of moss. More than a little tempted to go sleep with evershade. Knowing that her scent would make him more comfortable in such a strange place. When he heard his mentors' call, he got up and trotted over to him. Nodding at what he said.

she couldn't help but roll her eyes as her good natured clan mate ran off after a call from their leader. Though in some ways she figured might be a good thing. That meant all would be there soon, in the mean time as the least intimating member of her clam. She would try to see if they could come to some sort of peaceful agreement with the residents of this land until they can find a way home.

So headed toward the yowl, since she had heard the question. Figured that they would be able to hear her, so called back as shecontinued closer. "I am Spottedfang of the omega clan, me and a couple of my clan mates have gotten lost. I promise we mean no harm, but we would appreciate if you would help us figure out where we are and how to go home." When the other cats came into sight, her tail poofed a little in surprise.

She had never seen so many cats about her size before. Though she supposed it sort of made since with all of the supplies that they had seen. The only thing that it made her worry was would there be any prey that the rest of her clan mates would be able to eat and it actually be like a meal?

Pointedfang's eyes shot open and she moved quickly to the rest of her clan mates. She wasn't entirely sure what was going on but she was definitely going to be ready for whatever was to come. When she saw spottedfang wandering off towards where the sound came from she followed her a bit farther behind in case something was to happen and when she too saw the cats her tail paused mid motion with confusion.

Silentstar and the rest of his clan came up behind Silverstar's clan, his ears were perked high in case anything tried to sneak attack and he greeted the other clan leader warmly. "I heard you and I smell it too," he said after a bit. Upon hearing the reply from an unknown cat he pulled his clan closer to him in case a fight was to be had.

Silverstar perked foreword as she heard another voice answer her back. She then looked over her shoulder as silentstar padded up to her and nodded. She wondered if she should believe such a thing but if the cat was telling the truth and there were more of them... how did they get lost? She remembered hearing a story about the four clans crossing over the lands to get here, a new home but that was so long ago she wasn't even sure if it was true... could that be the same thing though? "If you really mean no harm then show yourself intruder! as well as all of your companions!" She called back glancing back over her shoulder at silentstar and to see if anymore of the clans would arrive.

Another thought passed her making her fur stand on end slowly. A great danger... She flicked her tail signaling her clan to be ready to make quick to better positions to fight, her body tens as she waited.

She hesitated before slowly walking into view of the other cats, trying not to look scared. Figuring that despite how much thicker her body seemed to be, that at the moment she didn't look very threatening. That didn't change the fact that if something did happen, that she would fight for her clan. "I am Spottedfang and i was on guard the other ran to our leader at his call. Not realizing it was probably to check you guys out. We don't want to fight, that is why we stayed here. Where the scent of other cats are faint compared to everywhere else. I am sorry that we are intruding, but is there anyway we can handle this? All my clan wants is to go home, we have a young apprentice with us. We don't want any injuries, only peace and help." She spoke honestly, knowing saying such things were not her place. But if there was pretty big enough for her clanmates.

The knowledge of where to find it, would surely lay with these cats. "I am sure, my leader is on his way. You would probably prefer to speak with him, then me." She said and started back in, looking over her shoulder briefly and said. "I just hope that you kept my words in mind, no matter what happens. For they are the truth," wondering what frozen grass would make of these small cats.

Frozengrass reached the bridge as spottedfang came down from it. He was able to hear what she said. "Thank you. Stay here on this side and watch for my signal. Everyone do the same." With that he then got on top of the log and as he did so the log creaked and groaned under his weight and size. "I am Frozengrass, leader of Omega clan. We will allow you on the island to talk with us, only if you come in peace though. If you come to fight though, you will find more than your match. Those I have with me, are the best in my clan and won't go down without a fight."

Rowanstar listens and watches the other cats talk to these strangers and when the giant cat came out. He could feel his Clanmates that he took with him puff up in fear, even his own fur was sticking up everywhere. Rowanstar raises his tail and steps forward to talk to the big cat. "I am Rowanstar, leader of ThunderClan, one of four Clans that live on this island. I agree to peace but your Clan has no claim on us. To be fair, this is our home, and your Clan are the intruders onto our home. I believe the other Clans can agree to talk with your's though. Perhaps only the leaders, deputies, and medicine cats of all five Clans can talk. Somewhere more privately."

Spottedfang stayed just inside the trees, ears turned listening to what was being talked about. Hoping everything went well, but her tail still abit fluffed in nervousness. Even if her clan had the size, their clans had the numbers, history, and information.


Greenstar was one of the last clans there, because the apprentice she chose to come along somehow got trapped in a patch of bramble on the way here. So they had to work the apprentice out of it without hurting the young cat. Whom still had some burs in his fur, but they were finally at the log and were racing. To the point that the younger of the apprentices that were coming along was being carried. So that her clan didn't miss the meeting, the last thing they wanted was to anger starclan by being late. As soon as her paws hit the log, she knew that something was off. The log seemed to be farther in water than normal, though all the more reason to cross quickly.

It wasn't long before Greenstar and her clan, saw the other clans. As well as the large cat that had to be at least as big as a deer, on the other end of the log. As her cats spotted them, there were gasps and cries, a few hisses, but Greenstar mostly sensed fear. Just barely catching what Rowanstar said, she squeezed by the other clans to stand by the leader. Mewing in the calmest most confident voice that she could muster, even so the fur down her spine was standing on end.

Silentstar stood tall to try and calm those in his clan as the large cat spoke, after Rowenstar agreed to peace with the large cat and his clan Silentstar's fur was still on edge. "I Silentstar leader of the shadow clan agree to peace with you as well. I would quite like to know how you got here as well as what you plan to gain from being here, you claim to want to go home but there were none here but us before." Silentstar felt his clans uneasiness but they stayed tall and continued to hold nonthreatening body positions.

Pointedfang watched and listened carefully to the conversations that were going on, it was less than ideal that there were so many cats in front of them and even though they were smaller than most of her clanmates they out numbered Omega clan greatly. It was a while before she realized she had been barely breathing so she inhaled the scents around her and shuddered, it made her fur stand on end to know that there was the possibility that they would never make it back home.

Frozengrass, looked among all the cats, they were indeed very small. There was a great number of them, however despite this fact, he had more then enough confidence that his small amount of clan members would easily be able to fight them off, if it came to that. He looked back to his own clan mates. Their safety was of the up most importance. "We plan to gain nothing if we can. All we want is to go home. For we have no idea how we got here. As for who got here first, I get the feeling that my clan is much older than any of yours. Or at least more powerful."

He then looked to the one who identified himself as Rowanstar. "That deal is acceptable. You, your deputy's and all of your medicine cats, may come onto the Island to talk with us. However my clan will stay on the island during this talk. The island will be private enough to talk. As well be warned, if you try to betray us, you'll learn not to." With that he let out a loud roar, showing that his mouth was easily the size of some of these cats. "Fernshadow, and Shallowfern, I want you to continue the guarding of this bridge. The rest, head back to the beds." He then looked to the leaders of the smaller clans. "Those who accept the peace may come, those who do not may not cross." With that he turned back around and got off the log, which seemed to go a bit back up now that the weight was gone.

Silverstar could only listen as the other leaders found their voice but she found her's after the last leader. "I'm silverstar of Riverclan and I agree with these terms." She said before glancing over her shoulder at her deputy and and medicine cat and the apprentice medicine cat nodding to them that they should come along. "The rest of you stay here... And be calm." She told her clan though she was trying to be herself, though the cats words made her fur stand on end, threatening her on her own terf! Gulping she padded after the cat with the others.

Evershade watched her leader come back before sitting up. This should prove interesting... all these cats where so little, like shallowfern. Just like kits but then there were cats among them even smaller! like new borns! She shook herself before getting to her feet but looked to Fernshadow who was making her way to the bridge like Frozzengrass had told her. Evershadow nosed her shoulder. "Your a medicine cat dear, you should be back there." "But frozengrass.." She started. "Go on, I'll stay with Shallowfern, I want to make sure he's coping okay." Fernshadow hesitated for a moment before nodding again while Evershade growled affectionately at the medicine cat as she turned to follow her leader back to the center of the island.

Evershade then found her adopted grandson and nosed him with a smile. "How are you doing little one?" she asked.

Fernshadow made her way back to the center of the island to find a seat next to the herbs she and blackfrost had gathered watching the leaders and their deputies and medicine cats file in to speak together.

Shallowfern was trembling, he had never seen so many cats gathered before and even through they were all his size. He didn't know what he would do if they decided to attack. Why was he told to stand guard?! He was just an apprentice! He wouldn't be much use i-thankfully his thoughts were cut off by Evershades' nudge and he rubbered his head against her leg. Always glad to be with her, she made him feel better. Probably why he didn't question why it seemed like she was going to stand guard with him. He simply mewed back, "better now that you are here Evershade." Continuing to rub his head against her leg, ready to follow his grandmas' move.

Greenstar called her deputy and medicine cat forward, wondering what if the old medicine cat had decided on taking an apprentice. As they joined Silverstar and headed over to where they would be meeting.

Rowanstar twitches his ears in slight annoyance when the huge cat insisted for his entire Clan to listen in but perhaps his clan was smaller anyway and he had no advantage to really challenge him. He stands up and holds up his tail for the rest of his Clanmates to wait there, besides his deputy and medicine cat. He follows the giant cat, Frozengrass to the area. He could smell the fear from his comrades and waits for Frozengrass to sit down. Though he would feel more comfortable standing up, since he was on edge, he sits down with Frozengrass a few feet away to signify he would treat Frozengrass as his equal. His deputy and medicine cat exchanged a look before joining Rowanstar. "Greetings. This is my deputy, Silvertail," the male cat twitched his whiskers as Rowanstar introduced him "and this is--" The she-cat next to Silvertail gets up and bows her head politely at Frozengrass, "My name is Petalstorm, I am Thunderclan's medicine cat and capable of speaking for myself," she gives Rowanstar a cheeky look before sitting back down, waiting for the other leaders to speak next.

Pointedfang went and sat by Shallowfern and Evershade so that she wasn't all alone as it seemed to be one of the worst possible idea's right now. "I wonder what they are going to negotiate," she whispered softly as her ears twitched with anticipation. She hoped that nothing would happen between all of the leaders and that everyone would stay safe, though she never doubted Frozengrass for a second on how he would be able to get peace out of the other cats.

Silentstar crossed the bridge carefully with his second in command and his loyal medicine cat right by his side. When they sat down he could feel the tension in the air, you could practically cut through it with a claw or two. He looked fearless, though he was uneasy himself and he could feel the fur all over start to stand up because he was away from his whole clan. He didn't like leaving them alone, it wasn't how he worked, but in order to maintain the calmness they had among them, and avoid a fight he wasn't sure they would win, he left his clanmates back on the other side in hopes that they too would remain calm.

When the leaders and their second in command as well as medicine cats came with them and sat down in the middle of their temporary camp he looked to all of them. They were much smaller than him, like very much smaller. Granted some of his own cats were about their size only being a little bigger than them. However he treated all his members like they were his kits, and these leaders were definitely the size of what his kits would have been if he had any.

"I must admit it is a little strange to see so many small cats forming clans. Sure some of my own are about your size, but as you see, none of them are the leader of Omega Clan. As well I am surprised to only see one medicine cat per leader with you. Did you leave your others at home? Or do you only have the one. Two of mine are here with me, and I have about another three back at where we came from. As for my second in command it is unfortunate that he is not here with me and the others. As well as most of my current clan mates are to small to take the second in command. Anyway enough about my clan. The reason you are here in front of me is to discuss the future of mine, and your clans. This island is not big enough to support us for another day. The prey here is too small and too few. We can deal with small prey, we just need more then what this island has to give. As well as the island is too small. We had plans to start looking for a more suitable land off this island tomorrow, however it is now obvious that you guys have probably taken the land around this lake. Thus begins one of the main problems. We need more land to survive, at least until we find out if there is a way to get home, you guys currently hold the land. We would prefer, that this land come to us peacefully. I'm sure you would prefer that too."

Evershade chuckled and set down next to Shallowfern glancing up at the waiting cats with interest for a moment before turning back to her grandson. "Good good." She said before licking his forehead. "Its funny seeing cats all your size, but appear to be older then you." She said quietly with a rumbling chuckle. "What do you think?"

Silverstar's fur rippled as the large cat spoke. She glanced to her medican cats before looking back slightly bewildered. more then one madican cat? "In fact we each only have one... one and one apprentice at anyone time..." She mewed in response looking at the rest of his cats that where gathered there before glancing to her second in command. "Pardon but its just as strange seeing cats of... your size..." she said... though a little more softly. She listened to what he had to say about how they needed more land to survive, they wanted land peacefully and for only as long until they could find their home. Where was their home? Their scent was odd, it was wild and smelled of the outside but... of a different outside... She decided to listen to what the other clans had to say, thinking herself. Riverclan was plentiful at the moment, the streams and lake were providing well for them but she was unsure if they had enough to spare for... such large cats. She looked to the other leaders and tried to remain calm, though inwardly she wanted to challenge his right to say anything about their land. But still... as one leader to another she could understand his obligation to make sure they where safe and fed....

Shallowfern definitely smiled abit as Evershade licked between his ears. He then rubbed his head against her, before looking up at her. "Thought they all were like Spottedfang, do you think they are the same type of cat?" He mewed up at his grandma. Rubbing his head against her leg, glad to be with her. She was already making him feel a lot less scared.

Greenstar felt her fur rise, she wasn't sure what to make at all what the cat was talking about and was trying to think of a response. When she remembered the large prey that none of their cats could hunt, maybe this new clan could hunt that instead of their food? Because even if all four of the clan let the large group, hunt in their lands but the large cats hunt the same prey as the four clans. Who knows if any of their normal prey would be left. So once she managed to get most of her fur to lay flat, so took a step forward. "What about the deer?" She offered, hoping that the other knew what she meant. Anything to keep their prey safe, knowing that any fight would be bad.

Rowanstar: He found it a bit strange that this Clan had more than one medicine cat, of course, at most any of their clans had two medicine cats, but the one was usually an apprentice. His fur automatically started to rise when the big cat mentioned them handling their prey and land over to the Giant Clan over peacefully. They couldn't just give up their homes, sure their cats were smaller too, but they had more numbers. A war would be devastating to them, so hopefully they could make arrangements around it. His ears twitch when Greenstar spoke up and he nods his head in agreement. "Yes, the deer. As well as, there are a few spots that all Clans tend to avoid, including the mountains, mostly because the prey is too big for us. We can not give up our hunting grounds to you, as we have many mouths to feed, which I hope you can understand since we are all now trying to survive. We can show you the hunting grounds that I mentioned though."

Silentstar listened carefully to the large cat carefully knowing that he wouldn't give any of his land to the large cats that had arrived. "My clan has little food and land as it is, therefor it is impossible for me to give any of my land and or food to you without starving and condensing my clan into a ridiculously small space." Silentstar's ears twitched as he spoke, he didn't want to start a war but he felt he had been cheated out of enough land, and it was the other clan's turn to give up some of theirs. "The mountains are the only place that you wouldn't be taking land from any of us, and yet still have enough prey to survive on. I personally don't know what is in the mountains as I don't like my clan to venture that far," Silentstar looked over to his medicine cat and his second in command who silently agreed with him though he felt it was forced because they didn't want to go to war with such large cats.

Frozengrass:

"Mountains, we would have to adjust for we have not lived in the mountains for a very long time, since before my father's father, and his father before him. How do I know that you won't be sending me into a death trap? I do not, we know nothing of each other therefor your promises mean nothing to me as well. I will demand a warrior from each of your clans to escort us to the mountains, that way if you send us into a death trap, you send your own into the deathtrap as well." As he adjusted his stance, he made sure it was into a more threatening form, which in turn made his muscles roll over his bones, showing the true extent of the size of not only himself but his bones. Some of his bones were the size of the small cats. He was truly a beast to behold to those who are not used to seeing cats like him.

Silverstar's fur bristled and she wanted to burst out with her protest. They end up on their lands? and he makes demands of them? She bite back her reply, biting down so hard on her own tongue she jumped from the pain. Her medicine cat looked to her startled but she quickly waved him away as she tasted of her own blood. She sucked on it for a moment before deciding that it wasn't serous.

"You realize that we have our own clans to look after?" she said as calmly as she could once she had composed herself. "And you making demands of us, on our territory no less, Dose not make being friendly any easier." She said levelly flicking her tail as she tried to remain calm despite his imposing size and demeanor. She was a clan leader, she could be just as imposing if she chose! She would not be bullied. "We have already established that we do not wish to have a battle, But bullying us will not be tolerated." She said looking up at the great big cat with her best level gaze. Starclan help them if this went sour!

Evershade thought for a moment. "No... I don't think they are..." She said finely after studying the small cats and turning her attention back to Shallowfern. "Perhaps if we find out where we are and how we got here we'll find the answer."

Shallowfern nodded an stood up on his grandmother' leg, changing the topic. "Can I have a story?" Looking a little story, normally him and his sister would crawling over each other as soon as the question was spoken. Not now though, that didn't change the slightly hopeful look on the apprentices' face. Only glancing at the smaller cats now and then.

Green star bristled from the aggression of the much larger cat. Glancing at her deputy and medical cat, both bristled as well. She flicked tail to both, everyone needed to stay calm. "Silverstar is right, we are just trying to help. So threatening us is unacceptable, even if you did kill us. All of our land has food small enough to food feed us, do you think you can find the prey large enough to feed your massive clan without help?" The annoyed clan leader said, her tail twitching in annoyance. Aware of the worried look from her medicine cat, but ignored it. As she took a breathe, "in a way that you wouldn't understand. I suppose having one from each clan is fair." Glancing at the other leaders, betting none of them wanted any single clan having time to sway the large cats' opinions of the other clans. Remaining quiet for a few moments, before she continued with a sigh. "And since we need to get this done as fast as we can, I suppose I should go with you." Her medcat gasped but the leader remained calm.

While her deputy all but yowled, "Greenstar!" She silenced him with a flick of her tail and looked over her shoulder, "Hawkwing since Quickclaw is injured. Can you think of any other cat that is as fast, as they are agile, that they are surefooted?" Deputy looked ready to speak up, but after a moment faltered and his gaze fell to the ground with no response. So Greenstar turned her attention back to the large leader cat.

Rowanstar: He could feel the tension and fear from the rest of the Clan leaders and his own fur starts to bristle up in fear and anger as well. The big cat could take a swing of his paw and knock them all down in one blow. He didn't want to fight, but he would defend his Clan if he had too. He would not risk their lives to be shoved around by the bigger cats. Before he could speak and voice in his opinion, Petalstorm rose up to her paws.

Petalstorm faces the big cat, her fur flat, and she twitches her whiskers in slight amusement. "I have an idea, if you're willing to hear it. I know that you said you have medicine cats. I know what you're doing, you want the best survival for your Clan. But I'm sure you have other needs besides food. Maybe none of your cats are sick or injured, but once leaf-bare comes and the harsh cold, it won't protect you from everything. Perhaps if I could talk to one of your medicine cats and instead could teach your medicine cats about what herbs to use, which ones are dangerous, and where to generally find them."

"Well if the three of you are going to send someone, I guess I better send one of my warriors, just to make sure none of you try to turn them against my clan." He looked to his deputy. "Razorleaf, will you make sure these fools don't do anything to trouble us." Razorleaf bowed his head as a response in yes.

"If you have chosen your volunteers then the meeting is over. That is unless any of you have any more questions to ask me. My clan would like to leave as soon as the sun in the sky is up. As for you taking a medicine cat with us, we will accept that too. If you would like to stay I would request that you stay so that you can meet our own medicine cats. Maybe you and them can learn all kinds of different things from each other."

She wasn't sure about letting her medicine cat stay, but when she looked to her medicine cat. Dewdrop nodded and Greenstar sighed, "very well but Dewdrop. You need to be back before we leave to show the large cats to some place with larger prey." The small cat with clear blue eyes nodded and hopped over toward the larger cats.

Her deputy shot her a nervous look, which Greenstar shared. Dewdrop was a good medicine cat, but she was small even amongst their clans. When she first became a medicine cat, many cats thought she was an apprentice and even thought that was many moons ago. The tiny cat still had the energy and friendliness that morning dew always seemed to have. The two were worried, that her friendliness might lead her into some kind of trouble.

Even so they knew they had to leave, not without several looks back to the medicine cat.

Silverstar frowned upon the cat. "I will return to my clan and chose a cat to accompany you." She looked to her medical cat who frowned as well. "I will stay but take my paw with you." he mowed calmly. "But!" "None of that." He said to his fluffy little apprentice. After a little more coxing she left her medican cat though like greenstar she took many glances back.

When she reached her clan she silently told them to follow, she would descuse more with her deputy before letting the clan know the full circumstances. Still... perhaps she should also go herself... and leave the clan in her deputies capable paws.
