The Black Dragon Fortress. Abandoned and Decripid but deep beneath it lies the mysterious Dragon Order [ in the Meenal Deadlands ] , training assassins and rogues. There numbers are thin, and few but that does not make them a force to be underestimated. For sometime a certain type of plant has gained interest and the head of the order Vailem wanted it to continue his studies of the dart arts. He wanted to ascend to the plain achieved by the original Dragon Leader. What plain is? not even he knows. But it would give him more influence over the assassins who are already considering revolting. Only one person, a mage knows of this plant.

Cailek was silently walking down the path, his contract was considerably different to normal, it involved finding a mage. Why? he didn't know, but it was what Vail wanted so it must be important. However, tensions were high with in the order. Old Vs New. He sided with the old, but the new certainly proved to be more powerful. He had heard there betrayl with in the order, assassins killing assassins. He knew if he found the mage keeping him or her life was one thing, keeping himself alive would be tricky. No doubt he was not the only one on this contract, and what if someone tried to intervene. Until the situation arises, he would simply have to wait. Fate would bring him this mage. He was sure of it.

He checked his arsenal of weaponry, satisfied, he continued walking, looking behind him in case he was being followed.

Melanie sat high up out of sight, watching with interest on Cailek's actions. Picking up any flaws in movements, body language. She didnt want the mage, she didn't even care. The assassins of the Old were her new target. Wipe them out, and a new dragon order could be estabilished.

Lola was on her way to the Grooma forest since the path to the Sundas village was going through it. It was almost noon but the forest still seemed miles away from her so she took a small break , sitting on the near rock and conjuring herself a bottle of water. Taking a small sip and leting out a happy sigh she looked around before noticing a herb and runing to it , kneeling down and quietly inspected it

" Amazing ! Such a nice Violana , what a beautiful golden color ! If i can find few more it would sell good !"

She smiled and gently picked the herb , putting it in her small herb pouch wich she always carried with her on her belt . Walking back to the rock she sat down again and looked up at the sun pouting

' Must be noon already..."

"Well, where do you think this mage is?" Ryan asked, hand resting on his katana. He had his work coat on, the thick belt sitting on top of the warm, water-proof material. His hood sat over his head, pulled back a bit so that he could see better. He and his brother were walking somewhere near Amou, a small village near a lake.

"I'm not too sure." Noah replied. "I don't really care either way. Its a dumb job that multiple people are on." The elder brother shrugged, obviously not caring. He also had his hand resting on his sword and his hood was completely off. His demeanor was serious, yet relaxed at the same time. "Why did we sign up for this?"

"Dunno. It was your idea." Ryan replied, he stumbled over a rock, but quickly caught himself. He frowned, then glared at the rock. "Retarted rock." He muttered. He waved it off and focused back on his brother's and his conversation. "Well then..." He said when the village came into sight.

Deep within the mountains, Jareth strode out of a cave, having completed a small job to eliminate a pack of canine related beasts who had tasted human blood. The Alpha Male was known as Moon scar had a hefty bounty placed on its head.

"...Well...Moon Scar, you'll make some nice equipment..." spoke Jareth as he knelt down and examined the corpse of the giant carnivore, before he hefted the carcass onto a nearby cart.

You could call him a mercenary, or monster hunter. It was all the same, he was a merchant of death, and business was good. But he was growing tired, of the mountains. He slowly reached into his pack and pulled out a book containing bounties posted for different beasts. He examined each slowly before finding one that was in coastal regions, his next destination was set. He would divide the materials from his recent hunt, with the village that posted the bounty and depart.

Pazi was headed to the Mirro lake area. She knew about the legends, but didn't really hold that they were true. She was bound and determined to collect some of that water as a gift for her teacher. It was said to have magical properties, and having raided through her teachers cabinets often enough in search of items for spells, she was certain he didn't possess any of it. She was soon reaching the stage of a full mage, and would have nothing left to learn. It was a gift that she could give him, that would make him happy to have in his collection, when she left out on her own.

Adjusting her pack on her back, she reached for her short sword on the off chance that there was some truth to the legends, and something did actually live in the lake. Making sure it was easily accessible. She didn't want to be caught off guard over a simple over sight. Legends were usually created out of some base knowledge of truth. Perhaps there actually was something dangerous that lived by the lake, she would not be caught unawares.

Walking through the woods was soothing to her, listening to the birds and the small animals was comforting. The bright sunlight glinting through the darkness of the trees. The forest was dense and cool. It reminded her of when she was a small girl, growing up near the woods of her home. Sighing slightly, at thoughts of home she pressed on a little quicker, as if to leave those thoughts behind.

It was a warm day, and just as the sweat began to bead on the edge of her forehead, she pushed through the brush to see the lake. The lake of Mirro stretched out wide in both directions as far as she could see. Smooth and glistening in the bright sunshine. She just had to make her way down a small hill and she would be on the shore. Shading her eyes from the blinding brightness of the sun, she looked around to see if anything was amiss. Noticing that the birds had become awfully quiet, meant something wasn't quite right. She waited, to see what would reveal itself out there before leaving the safety at the edge of the forest. Slowly reaching for her sword, out of sheer habit, her legs in a warrior stance almost without thought.

Luna wandered down a road, still muttering about her last job offer.
"I am a mage, not a witch. I don't make love potions. How could he even ask for one?" she muttered darkly, kicking a pebble.
She passed by a lovely red rose bush, which caused her to smile for a second before reminding her of her irritation.
"If you want a girl to notice you, give her flowers or something beautiful. It ensures that any potential romance will be honest and not false, magic-induced feelings. Love potions are so false." she said.
Up ahead, she saw what appeared to be a town gate. Keeping her pace, she strode toward the town.

Faren walked along the road, leading his steed behind him. While he would normally be on top of the eternal flame horse, the ground was rocky here, and unsuited for his steed to be carryin a load in case it tripped.

As he continued walking Faren noticed a mage approaching from the oppisite drection. He went to the side of the path and waited for the man to pass him.

Iskandur nudged his mount forward, a cold one named Tyr'golth. The velociraptor-like creature snorted, trudging through the dark woods. Up ahead, Iskandur could make out the shape of the fortress, tall spires stabbing at the heavens.

"It's not far, Tyr'golth. We shall arrive shortly." The cold one produced a guttural sound, as if to say, "About time!" Iskandur scanned the surroundings, jagged trees bent like bony, gnarled fingers. What a dark place! It reminded him of home.

Trixie's tiny clawed feet scratched against the ground as she scurried through the Grooma Forest. Being a shape shifter wasn't uncommon, but Trixie counted her blessings in times such as this for having such a small animal form. While most shape shifters prided themselves on their massive fighting animal forms such as a wolf or basilisk, Trixie could escape from sight in an instant. Which came in handy after being caught on her last job. She'd been on the run since she left the Tower of Sight.

Naturally, she remained in animal form during the day. It was too risky to change shape until she was far away from the Tower of Sight. The next village was a preferable distance...

A woman's voice stopped Trixie in her tiny tracks, and her large mouse ears pushed forward to catch all sounds. Her nose twitched as she smelled the air. The woman smelled nice. Trixie crossed under the bushes separating them and peered out at the reclining woman from her hiding place.

Luna quickly reached the town and strode through the gates, hoping that she could find a place to stay. As she walked down a street, saw saw at least two young men staring at her.
"If they think I'm attractive, hopefully they'd be able to work up the nerve to give me flowers of something nice." she muttered, still irrritated about the earlier incident. Her stomach growled and she decided to find some food. She quickly found a man selling apples and bought one. She took a bite as she looked for a place to sit.
Luna found a flat rock and sat down on it, eating her apple and watching the people.

As silent as a ghost a large creature moves through the shadows of the forest. His sense are alive with the hunt this was Dirge and he was on the hunt for a Vagrant that managed to irk one of the Village Elders by sleeping with his daughter, getting her pregnant, then running away back to his cave. Leaping onto a small ridge over looking Lake Mirro he spots his target asleep in the bushes near the road. With a low snarl he begins creeping up to the man, he was fairly average by human standards not that tall or big long brown hair and beard and was dressed in raggedy white robes.
"Damn humans they smell bad enough in their hovels when they bathe why would one go in the middle of nowhere with no hovel just to stink more?" He slipped along on his claws and feet barely shifting the bushes and brush as he went slowly to the Vagrant's sleeping form. Soon he could hear the man's breathing the Assassin snarls quietly as he readies the attack. Much like a big cat he sets his legs apart lowering his torso a little in a burst of muscle and scales Dirge leaps over the bushes and lands on top of the man driving his claws into the man's heart there was only a surprised gasp and a little spurt of blood as the lifeforce left another being by the claws of the Fearstalker the birds in the tree above them erupted out of their rousts sending a panicked chorus of cries into the air above the kill site.
"No you'll blow my cover you idiots!" He growls slipping into the water diving deep below the surface waiting for the birds to calm down.

Melanie heard the cries of birds, and pondered for a second, it was nearby. She jumped down from her hiding place, and landed softly. Cailek had passed her now, she considered whether to pursue him or the noise. Another assassin. From the order, it seemed likely, but with tension in the order so high. Trust was fickle.
Cailek ignored the fearstalkers, the village wasn't far away but then he sensed others nearby. He looked around, and swallowed nervously, his confidence ebbed away, or did it, his face remained calm, but beneath the surface he seemed to calculate his options. He ventured into the village, he walked calmly, and like an adventurer.

Faren watched as the mage passed. He coulf feel something odd about the man, and Faren wondered as to its nature. Soon enough however, the stranger disappeared down the forest road, and Faren was alone once again. He continued on his way.

It was then that his heightened senses picked up something he didn't like. Looking back down the trail, he raised his staff. From around a nearby bend emerged the most enormous bear Faren had ever seen. The bear and Faren stood still, looking at each other with surprise. The bear then gave a mighty roar that shook the trees, and charged.

Faren smacked his horse on its arse, sending it far away till it was summoned again. As the horse ran, Faren raised his staff and conjured a funnel of flame in the bear's direction. The bear simply charged through and ran straight into Faren.

Faren wrestled for his life. He had managed to keep the bears snapping jaws away from his own simply by forcing his staff between its jaws. Now the two rolled, and Faren fought desperately in hopes of escaping.

"Alright." Ryan said. He looked over the edge of the small mound of dirt they stood on and slid his foot down the side, but quickly pulled it back up. "We should be able to slide down it." He said, grabbing a random plank of wood. He punched it, checking to see that it wouldn't break and smirked when it didn't.

"You are really childish for someone that is only one year younger than me." Noah said, raising an eyebrow and frowing. "Can't we just walk around?" He crossed his arms and stared at Ryan.

"Nope." Ryan said, grinning. He jumped off the edge and landed on the piece of wood. He quickly sped down the rocky hill, bits of dirt and pebbles flying everywhere. But things quickly turned serious when an arrow was shot at Ryan, hitting his arm. He crouched down, somehow keeping his balance. He went even faster down the hill and ducked behind a tree.

Noah saw that something had been shot at Ryan, but not by who or what was shot. He quickly grabbed a piece of wood and sped down the hill, watching for anymore flying projectiles. Once at the bottom of the hill he also ducked behind a tree.

They stood for a while, to see if anymore arrows would come by, but nothing did and they quietly walked out from behind the trees. A young boy ran up to them, holding a bow. He looked at the wound on Ryan's arm and his eyes widened. "Ohmigosh! I'm really sorry sir! I was practicing my archery! I didn't know anyone else was around!" The boy yelped.

Ryan heaved out a sigh of relief. Atleast it was just an innocent young boy and not another assassin. "It's okay kid." He smiled. "Just don't kill someone." He ruffled the kid's hair and told him to go back to what he was doing.

"C'mon. We better go flush that out and get some bandages on it." Noah said, heading towards the village of Earthorn.

As Luna ate her apple, she looked around the town, wondering what its name was. When she finished her apple, she stood up and tossed it behind her, then started looking at the various stalls where people were selling things. As she wandered around, she found a stall that was run by a woman who was selling various pieces of jewelry. Luna loved jewelry, so she immediately walked towards the stall, where she was greeted by the woman.
"Good afternoon, miss." The woman said kindly.
"Good afternoon to you too, ma'am." Luna replied respectfully before she spoke again.
"Such lovely jewelry." She added, forcing herself not to pick anything up and hold it in her hand.
"Thank you very much. I made everything myself." The woman answered.
"Wow." Luna said, impressed.
"If you want to try anything on, go ahead, just take it off when you're done or are ready to pay." The woman said.

Luna nodded and began to look at the various pieces. She tried on a large diamond ring that ended up being to small for her fingers. She tried on the remaining five rings, but only one actually fit. After trying the ring on again, Luna decided that she would buy it, along with whatever else she would end up buying. She tried on two bracelets, but both of them were too small. She then moved on to the various and beautiful necklaces. After trying on several of the necklaces, some of which were suggested by the woman, she eventually decided on one that had been suggested by the woman. She took it off and told the woman that she wanted to buy it along with the ring.
"That will be ten gold coins." The woman told her.
Luna gladly paid the woman the ten coins and thanked her before remembering to ask what town she was in.
"One question, ma'am."
"Yes?" The woman replied.
"What is this town called?" Luna asked as she slipped the gold and emerald ring on her left ring finger.
"Agister." The woman responded.
Luna knew the name, she had heard stories of the lake that it was near, though she couldn't remember its name.
"Would you please be so kind as to help me put this on?" She asked, holding up the gold neclace with multiple gems.
"Gladly." The woman replied, taking the necklace and holding it up as Luna turned around.
When the necklace was on, Luna turned to the woman.
"Thank you again." She said.
"You're welcome. Come back again soon!" The woman replied.

As Luna walked away, she remembered the stories that she had been told about the nearby lake and decided to go take a look. As she walked, she touched each gem of the necklace as she thought about the fact that the color of each gem was the color of each element and sub-element that she could control.
There's a ruby for fire, a sapphire for water, an emerald for earth, a diamond for air, aquamarine for ice, and citrine for lightning.

Before she knew it, Luna was at the lake, which was apparently being visited by three other people. Luna walked closer to the lake and the people, planning to sit in the grass somewhere. She found a spot of grass near the people, and sat down, staring at the water.

As he stood in the village he spotted a female move past him. Possibly the mage. Hard to tell they all looked the same. He noticed she was heading for a lake, and that a large group was gathering. a meeting. He paused, and decided to have a look, he kept at a safe distance. He wondered if these people knew anything about the Dragon Rose, after all that was what his leader was after. A stupid rose. He sighed.

Vailem studied the paper in front of him, the spell which would allow him to reacher the higher plane, all he need was a rose. He looked at it, on paper it looked beautiful. But in reality it held power beyond the comprehension of any human being.

Swimming slowly through the water using his tail as a propeller and keeping his arm close to his body and legs straight. Surprisingly feeling the cold water flow over his scaly body was quite soothing now he knew why his cousins the Alligators and Crocodiles chose the amphibious way over the land way though he still didn't know why his other cousins the Dragons liked flying so damn much maybe he'll find out some day.
He did a lap around the Lake while the damn birds calmed down, as he neared the opposite side of the lake that he was on he came up for a breath of air and saw some people on the bank as he drew slowly closer he saw that they were human females the one seemed fairly normal aside from the power around her which marked her as a mage but something about the other female wasn't normal he sensed something different about her. He sniffed the air a little and smelt Fae. A slight growl emitted from his throat as he dived back under the water, his people generally distrusted Fae but then again anything with a lot of magical power was always distrusted. He swam a little closer to the woman something had alerted her and she was in a fighting stance.
Interesting a Fae with a sword, usually they'd be slinging fireballs everywhere. They Mage would then start throwing more fireballs in defense from the Fae. He thought swimming past keeping his eyes on the females just in case the fireballs do start flying.

Semira ran up top in the trees jumping from branch to branch with ease. She wore black leather, her hair in a single plait down her back a few wisps of snow white hair occasionally getting in her face but with a huff it was out of her face. She stopped suddenly standing on top of a thick oak branch, before sitting in a crouch. Her dark red eyes looked over the lake and the inhabitants on the bank. For no other reason then to make sure it was still there her hand went to the handle of her Kopis that was strapped to her back with a inch thick leather band that went across her chest diagonally. She also hand a pistol strapped to her thigh, leaving her kataras back at the fortress.

Always been somewhat like a cat the slightest of movements caught her attention so her head jerked to the right looking at the surface of the water as something swam across the lake before diving under. As long as it didnt bother her she didnt care if the Fearstalker was there or not. Looking down she saw a Fae in a defensive stance she then smiled wondering if she had been spotted or at least sensed. Semira was never heard one of her talents at being fast, she was light on her feet. Then again the Fae could have been startled by the birds that noisily squawked lucky for them she didnt have the time or bullets to shoot them all down one by one. She looked around taking in all those who were at the lake two girls who seemed magical, a fae, a Fearstalker perhaps in the water. Then she looked to her left where one of the girls had emerged and saw a man, a possible assassin? she wondered to herself.

After having her small rest she stood up and dusted off her robe , it was past noon now and if she wanted to get to the village before night she had to hurry unless she wanted to spend a "nice" night in the forest.

" Better get going !" she mumbled to herself and picked up her bag , it wouldve been easyer for her to use a port spell but in the past she had few bad memories from that and since then she rather walk

Pazi stood silently, waiting. She could feel eyes watching her, still not sure where they were coming from. I am getting rusty she mused to herself. Then deciding that anything of a large threat would have already made itself known, she put away her sword and moved slowly toward the water. Her nerves singing in her arms, itching to pull her sword back out. It was habit really. Too many years of relying on a blade. She had other skills now, and should remember those first. She had almost cleared the brush and heard a small splash sound from the waters of the lake, she looked quickly, but only caught the ripple of the water a few feet out from shore probably some fish quickly moving on.

Shaking herself mentally, she reached the edge of the shore and stepped on a good flat rock on the edge of the water. Peering down, seeing small minnows racing away from the shadow her reflection cast into the sunlight of the water.

Stooping down low, she pulled a small bottle with a cork from her pack, and filled it with water. Pushing the cork tightly back in, she stood up and looked around once more looking around, only to see a girl sitting a small distance away, eating an apple. She slipped the bottle into her pack, quickly. She seemed harmless enough, sitting in the grass.

Warily she waved in greeting, and moved toward her direction to see what she was here about, and to ask if the legend of the lake was true.

Rika shook her head, looking around. She looked down at her wrist watch. "Ahh, oh no!" She whispered fiercely. It was half past two, she had never slept this late. She got up, tripping over her shoes, and quickly dressed. "Oh man, oh man, why today of all days?"

She ran down the road, turning here, then there, until she bumped into a stranger. "Watch where yer going, lad!"

"Ahh, s-sorry!" She bowed, then took off again. No time to apologize.. She thought fiercely, noticing her legs were burning from all the running. "Excuse me? Miss! I need some directions."

She asked the kind woman where was the nearest shop, quietly thanking her when she suggested downtown. She sighed, her eyes half-lidded, "Waking up late and not knowing where you're going..." she shrugged, clueless.

Semira was getting bored sitting in the oak tree nothing was happening, of interest to her. The Fae walked over to a girl eating an apple. She sighed standing back up.

"I wonder if there is anything fun going on" she muttered to herself. She then was again racing through the forests tree tops, humming a light but sad melody, that she made up one night at the fortress. She then came to a stop jumping down from the trees landing and rolling into a crouch. She had stopped since she had heard a ruckus, which sounded like a fight of sorts.

Getting to the scene she watched as a man with a staff wrestled with an at least fifteen hundred pound bear. She smirked, before making her presence known "Need help stranger?" she asked raising an eyebrow, arms crossed. Her plait swaying in the breeze and her blood red eyes watching the bear just in case it decided to attack her instead. Semira didnt like helping people only for them to say they didnt need help even though she went through the trouble of saving there life, so recently she has just asked before getting involved. And if they said no they didnt need help she would most likely sit down where she stood and waited for whatever problem to be solved or until they admitted they needed her help.

Faren looked away towards the girl when he heard her voice. It saved his life. The bar had been swiping down with a paw, and it hit where Faren's head used to be. "That would be much appreciated." He gasped out before returnoing to the wrestling match.

Semira was surprised at first when he said to help him, since many said no only seeing her as a small girl since she was so short for her age. She then snapped out her daze stepping forward, catching the bears attention. Looking into it's eyes she saw confusion and rage. She raised a hand out ward toward the bear.

"See my illusion and no truth" the words loud and strong rolled off her tongue. The bear then froze, Semira's gaze locked onto the bear. The bears eyes glazed over before it backed up. The bear saw a bigger bear instead of Semira, and it also saw a more dominant bear. Semira growled deeply and the bear backed away before turning slowly and leaving. She was an illusionist it was her talent.

Semira didnt like him coming closer to her but she stayed in one place not wanting to seem more odd then she already did. She nodded when he thanked her. "No problem" she muttered. She couldnt help but smirked when he said he didnt know what she did and he had called her madam. "Im Semira" she said always had been weird about what people called her since when she was little she really wasnt called much but 'white haired girl' or 'demon'.

Trixie's ears poked forward when the stranger stood and she hid back into the bushes. Once the girl started talking to herself, Trixie moved forward again to watch. It didn't dawn on her before, but she really had no idea where she was going.

Trixie gave a small squeak, and hurried after the stranger, hoping to find herself on the right way to the next village. The stranger girl looked nice to Trixie, and the shapeshifting rogue had no interest in assassination bounties so she had no idea about who this woman was. She did seem to know where she was going though.

Walking into the forest Lola didnt notice that she was being followed by the lil "mouse" , looking around to make sure no animals were following her or watching her she quikly walked up the small path. The walk was going to be long but she really did hope to get to the village before the night falls since most dangerous animals were coming out for a hunt at night and a fresh mage flesh sounded pretty nice.

Faren smiled while stepping back a bit. He could see the girl's discomfort and sort of understood. He would be uncomfortable if some random person that he didn't know suddenly got close to him. In retrosect this was somewhat contradictory to what he had just done, and he knew it. "My name is Faren," he said with another smile.

Dirge watched the Fae relax and put her sword away then take some water from the lake. He was almost certain she'd seen him or at least sensed his presence but she seemed barely cautious not fully alert must be his lack of magic powers maybe without his dark magic nothing registered on her Fae radar as it was. Just a surprising upside to being banish and stripped of his birth right the Fearstalker thought swimming deeper into the lake but like most things it has more bad then good attached to it. The lack of magic made him unhindered by the need to hunt and feed on fears, but the easily satiated hunger for fear was replaced by the ravenous hunger for meat of any and all kinds. He first went looking for some clams or mussels but had little success then he decided to maybe take one from his cousin the Crocodile's book and swam into the shallows to cruise the bank and plan an ambush. Closer to the road he saw a deer grazing on the grass letting out another growl he swims ever so slowly up to the shore.

Buying his time he waits for the deer to dip it's head to nibble on some more grass. The time seems to pass at a snail's pace but soon the deer does lower it's eyes and begin to eat and quicker than some of his cousin he darts from the water and grabs the deer around it's neck and snaps it silently. With a toothy smile he drops the carcass to the ground and rips off pieces of meat and begins munching happily.
"I'll hand one thing to this place, it does know how to feed a hungry predator." The lizard says with a mouth full of meat. He was almost done with the rear quarters of the deer when the loud snapping of a stick and the rustling of the bushes makes him spin around bringing him face to face with a bear and a large one too.
"A dinner crasher huh?" He growls staring square in the bear's eyes who roared in the Stalker's face and swung it's long arm taking the lizard off his feet and out of the way of the deer so it can eat. This blow stunned the Fearstalker but hardly anything aside from that.
"Oh good never had bear meat before." He snarls and leaps onto the bear's back digging his claws deep into the animal's sides ripping up leaving long gashes that begin seeping blood.

The bear rears up and tries to throw Dirge who clings to the massive beast like leech his claws dig further in the more the bear struggles. The forest is filled with the anguished roars of the bear and Dirge vicious snarls and growls. The bear takes off in a run and to Dirge's dismay right under a long hanging branch that takes him in the throat yanking him off the bear's back the bear roars again but all Dirge can do is grunt as he lands hard on his back. This gives the bear enough time to turn on the Stalker and charge him. He roars and dives on Dirge sinking it's teeth into his upraised arm. The Stalker bellows feeling the teeth sink in almost to the bone. He rolls using his arm as leverage and pins the bear down letting out another deep roar before pulling the bear head up so he can sink his teeth in the monster's throat crushing the windpipe. He soon feels the bear's jaws slacking and it's claws stop raking and tearing at his body. With a pant and a groan the Stalker rolls off the bear and into a hallow under a tree, the sun was beginning to shine through the clouds and he wasn't going to let the sun kill him after fight a damn bear. He only manages to roll to his back before passing out under the tree.

Semira smiled slightly he had noticed her discomfort, and moved back. She then looked up into his eyes since she had been looking down at the floor since it was like a unwritten law to her not to look someone directly in their eyes unless you were introducing yourself or ordering someone to do something. "Semira" she answered. She then heard the roars from the bear in the distance her hand instinctively coming to her Kopis unsheathing the curved blade as she half crouched in a defensive pose, ready to take on the bear if or when it came back.

Her being a assassin she was trained to be fast and silent when killing which in turn taught her grace and stealth. When nothing came rampaging through the bushes she stood back up and spun the blade twice using her wrist before sheathing it back in the tanned leather strapped to her back. "Semira Leigh" she finished being interrupted by the bear who seemed to not be coming any longer.

"Well Semira, its nice to meet you," Faren said, smiling and cocking his head slighty. "By the way, we're pretty far out. Would you like a ride into town?" Semira looked behind her back where the lake was, the girls back there could be the girls she was looking for to bring back to the Dragon Force but, it was SO boring just sitting in a tree til they split up and she could get one of the girls to come with her somehow or any way she could. Or at least that was what her order was from her superior knowing she was going to be in a lot of trouble she still considered to think this over. This man was quite interesting in a way unknown to Semira

She decided "Sure" she said taking him up to the offer, maybe she could in turn meet someone that wasnt a blood thirsty killer nor a cold hearted richy who looked down upon others. That was her life being looked down upon being the way she looked in her village, and then entering the Dragon Force wasnt much better when everyone was being trained to kill and your only ten, being pushed to your absolute limit in energy and strength every day.

Semira held back her surprise when he helped her get on the horse and then got on behind her. She then made sure her braid was over her shoulder so she didnt sit on it and it didnt hit Faren in the face, her hair being so long. "So where you from?" she asked not liking awkward silences. As they continued to ride he noticed that he was bumping against her a little with each horse step. He shifted a little to give her the space that was respectful. Semira cursed the uneven ground of the forest in her head. She felt the embarrassment rise from her stomach to her face with each time Faren accidentally bumped into her because of the horse. But her face showed nothing, since after the couple years she was an assassin she has learned some emotions if shown could be seen as weakness and use that weakness to your destruction. That is why he instructor kept her arms length never letting her to actually get to know him since, he knew that anyone close to her would some day be used as a weapon against her. Her instructor foreseeing her potential.

Semira smirked "That is a gift i have had since i was a baby" she said she paused "People cal me an illusionist, i can make people see things that arent there" she clarified. "I made the bear see me as more dominant and seeing me as a threat it couldnt see winning aganist it left". "I grew up in a small village before. . . . ." she paused not wanting to say out right she was an assassin "A new family took me in" she said finding a loop hole, that was still the truth.

Faren considered this for a second before speaking again. To him, she might as well have said that she was an assassin right there and then. He didn't care to mention it though. She had saved himn, and he owed her much for that. Honestly though, the thought of seeing things that weren't there terrified him, as thye only had malicious uses in his eyes.

Semira nodded "It does come in hand for those kind of situations since i can almost make it so you me as something else then me" she said, she knew she must be scaring him she didnt mean to but telling him this was like a warning him what she could do and just to be aware of it. She looked to her right away from the horse and man behind her "But dont worry i wont hurt you without meaning like others like me would" she said quietly, almost as if she was talking to herself. She was telling the truth, she didnt hurt others unless she had purpose the bear was an example. She didnt have to kill it so she didnt.

"But i dont need it. . . . since i know how to defend myself without lying" To Semira illusory was like lying it wasnt the truth, a trick in other words. So she often called it lying; and she was the liar. Semira then decided to tel him everything since he must have put the pieces together already her outfit and powers giving it away. "I also can run faster then most" she said never considering it a really gift since she had seen many who had the same gift.

Pazi had almost reached the girl with the apple in the clearing when she heard the sounds of a large beast attacking something close to the waters edge. Without hesitation she pulled her sword and quickly turn toward the sounds, instinctively putting herself between the sounds of the battle and the girl. The long blade glinting in the sunlight she slowly slipped forward to see what the noise was from, forgetting about the girl for the moment.

To her surprise she saw a Fearstalker, feeding on a fresh deer carcass. It shocked her at first, as she had never seen one so close up, and alone. They usually traveled in groups. She quickly scanned the area, incase there were more in the immediate area. It would be very dangerous to come upon a group of them, alone.

Sensing only the one she started to slowly back away so as to not attract its attention. She had no intention of disturbing its meal. She had heard they were fierce predators, and with the way it was stripping the deer of its flesh, that fact was obviously true. The long claws rapidly tearing meat could do serious damage to anything in it’s path.

She had just stepped back a few feet when the bear came rushing through on the other side of the wood, deliberately attacking, no doubt drawn by the blood of the deer. She froze, and watched the battle ensue. Not surprised the Stalker was quickly able to overtake the bear. The noise throughout the forest of their battle was deafening.

Seeing that he was hurt during the battle, and she watched him crawl to the tree line and collapse. Knowing she should turn away, going back the way she had come only spurred her to investigate even more. She never did what she was supposed to do anyway. “Why start now” she muttered, moving toward the tree line.

Creeping closer, she reached his slumbering bulk, and poked at him gently with the edge of her sword against his foot. Seeing that he was indeed still breathing, and other than the wound in his arm, he appeared to be unharmed, just exhausted.

“Interesting. I wonder if you’re what everyone’s so afraid of in the lake. Now what to do with you?” she said quietly. She did have some small healing abilities, due to her magic. Hearing the birds again returning to their normal chattering, she relaxed her grip on her sword, still holding it out as a precaution, and contemplated helping him.

Faren smiled as she continued to talk. 'At least she's being truthful about it,' he thought. 'She could be pulling an illusion on me, but it seems that she isn't.' As they continued on, the road smoothed and the bumping stopped, resulting in the horse going faster. Faren moved forward in the sattle so that her back was touching his chest. This might have made it uncomfortable emotionally for the girl, but her safety was more important. A good horseman always kept a passenger close in-case they slipped.

Semira then stopped talking since it would kind of awkward if she started to babble about random nonsense. She then felt as the forest floor became less dense and rocky, the horse going faster. She was grateful she had decided to put her hair in a plait for once cause if she didnt her hair being as loong and thick as it was would be flying every which way behind her. She let it slide when she felt Farens chest on her back although she felt her instinct to tell her to tense up and be alert. But instead she did her best keeping calm acting completely normal telling herself that he needed to lean forward or both her and Faren would fall out of the saddle.

She remembered the horse riding lessons she took when she was little. It had been a year or two since she had shown up at the doors of Dragon Force. They had began to train her in fighting with a small knife or hidden knives she could conceal in her sleeves and boots. Semira had ridden a black stallion she named Kokurai, since like a lot of people and animals there they often didnt have names or at least werent called by them.

Trixie hurried under the bushes, until it finally seemed safe to follow the stranger girl without having to hide. One couldn't give Trixie much praise for being cautious. She squeaked as loudly as she could, trying to get the girl's attention. Her metabolism was burning through her energy stores and she needed food or she would change back into her human form.

As Luna stared at the lake, she noticed woman walking towards her. From where she sat, Luna was unable to see the expression on the woman's face. Her eyes moved in the direction of the lake at a strange sound. Her eyes greew wide when she saw the form of a Fearstalker, and she stood up, taking a slightly defensive pose. She jumped at the arrival of the bear and watched the battle that went on for a few moments.

When she saw him collapse, she slowly approached, wondering if she could help him. She followed the woman towards the Fearstalker and heard her wonder if she should help the man. She looked at the woman next to her and spoke.

Faren eventually slowed down the horse a tad. They were approaching the outside of the forest. Soon, Faren slowed the horse from a gallop to a canter, then the canter to a trot, and finally stopped all together. He then disjointed and helped the girl off the horse.the reason for this became apparent when he spoke. "I know the road here. There is a great crack up ahead. Semira wanted to question when they slowed but her question was answered once he had gotten her off the horse. Semira was short for her age looking as if she was maybe seventeen. So to look Faren in the face she would have look up. She nodded to assure Faren she had been listening. A question then came to mind although it was way off subject she would often ask people this question after meeting them, she even asked her instructor a few times but as intelligent as he was he found ways to not answer directly. She then walked to the front of the horse grabbing the reigns and petting the sides of the horses face, as it looked at her blankly.

"Do i scare you?" she asked without looking towards Faren hoping he would know she was talking to him and not the horse. She was making the horse see her as Faren just in case it was one of those horses who would only let one person touch him/her or just in case her true appearance scared the horse for whatever reason. "Be honest" she already knew that when she asked this question most people tried to say they werent but she could see in their eyes they were, and that bugged her that they would lie to her about something so trivial. She didnt mind weather she was feared or not, she just wanted to know the truth.

Faren considered the option of lying or telling the truth. He decided on a course of action, though to him it seemed a little off the end, it seemed fitting. Faren then proceeded to walk over to Semira.

The horse was confused when he saw two of his master. He then proceeded to blink, somehow or another lifting the illusion from his eyes. He then saw that the one hugging hugging him was not in fact his master. Flamestep decided that he didn;t care and held still.

Faren meanwhile got with an armslength of Semira. He leaned over so that they were face to face, and very close. With a certain caution, he spoke. "I am in fact afraid Semira. But that does not stop me from liking you." He then leaned just an inch close and kissed her on the cheek before withdrawing. Taking the reins, he led the horse around the crag, hoping she woulf follow.

Under normal circumstances upon feeling his foot poked by something sharp he would've jumped to his feet and killed the poker by feeding them the sword but in his present state of a wounded arm and various slashes and gashes on his face and chest he didn't feel like grabbing the sword he'd just kill them with his claws he quickly rolled out from under the tree and jumped to his feet taking a fighting stance but the quickness of his movement and blood loss floored him as soon as he landed on his feet luckily the sun was behind another bunch of clouds so he'd at least live to face his death. Groaning lightly he lifts his scaly and spiked head up waiting for his vision to focus as it did he saw the two women he saw on the bank and the Fae had her sword out.
"So you're the one poking my foot? Plan to kill me and steal my teeth for charms or whatever it is you Magic Humans do? Can I get some food first?" He growls moving to a sitting position staring at the women licking at the black blood as it drips steadily down his face.

Unwilling to die on his ass and with an empty stomach the Stalker slowly gets to his feet and even more slowly makes his way to the bear carcass. Another growl rumbles from his throat before kneeling beside the bear but doesn't get a chance to dig into his foe before another heady rush knocks him back on his tail.
"By the Abyss, I wish I still had my magic." He groans panting a little waiting for the spinning and pain to stop.
