So, you've heard this story before. A old friend returns to their little country town from the big city. They find that their old friend has changed and doesn't even understand them anymore. They make a desperate shot at becoming friends again. Yeah, this one of those stories.

History: Henry was born from a young Japanese man and a Texas farmer. He was raised to take on the family farm. He in recent years has had to take on more and more jobs at the farm. He is taken back when his childhood friend returns from New York. He is both unsure how to react to the return of his old friend and is a bit distant.

Personality: Henry, is by all means a cluster fuck of emotions. He is rough and blunt, he often comes off as a rude and mean person. That's only because he doesn't know how to show his feelings to people. He's blunt but people know he cares about them. He's loved by the farm hands for his kindness and known in school for it as well. His odd mixture of harsh kindness has made him a favorite at school.

History: Caroline was born in the town near Henry's ranch. After being invalided home from Afghanistan, her father Jack moved out to his brother's ranch and took over management. His wife, Regina, moved with him but clearly didn't like their rural new home. She moved back to New York after a few months, returning to the CEO position of a big-name cosmetics company. Carey stayed on the ranch. She quickly developed equestrian skills and a deep love of nature that prompted her to take off for days at a time on riding/camping trips into the mountains around her home.

Personality: Caroline is generally known as Carey to her friends - she used to joke that 'Caroline' had too many syllables. She often kept to herself until she actually got to know somebody, and even some of her closest friends didn't really know everything about her. Whenever there was trouble, Carey always seemed to jump right in without stopping to think things through. She has plenty of friends, which of course meant she had several enemies, but she never seemed to have the time to care what those who didn't like her thought of her.
