Long long ago, in a galaxy where co-existence of technology and magic is possible. there was a war. a war so ancient that it's has been lost in the texts of known galactic history. however, there were only few scrolls and relics left to tell the tale of this war. all that is know is this.....
An army of Magic-wielders known as the Mokai, fought a civil war against the Dark Mokai. a dark army that once were part of this ancient order, but were corrupted by the influences of a mysterious evil force, and it's followers. the remaining scrolls tell of the fall of empires, and destruction of entire worlds. many ferice battles were waged across the galaxy. however....the last scrolls tell of a massive battle on the relic world of Ormagoden, and it stops there.
Many have tried to find the remaining scrolls.. but were unsuccessful. all was then lost in the pursuit to complete the history of this war. however.....the past may return to haunt the galaxy.....
Somewhere in the Tai Sector, in the a star system called Helina, a war between it's regional powers, the Sometaaw Republic, and the Xagari Empire, has sparked. from the galactic viewpoint, this war was insignificant and was of now concern. however....amidst this war, an ancient evil will reawaken, and the Mokai will come out of hiding before it is too late.

Humans are the galaxy's most numerous and politically dominant races with millions of major and minor colonies galaxywide. however, the original homeworld of the humans is a mystery. they were among the first races to make use of magic. humans make up the majority of the Sometaaw Republic in the Helina System.
Jaldari

Jaldari are an ape-like race from the world of Datrakan in the Helina system. one of the much stronger and hardier than most humanoid races in the galaxy. Despite their size and strength, the Jaldari live in small settlements, and are not a very violent race. they are a proud, independent people. Their culture is a spiritual and largely peaceful one.

Haling from the capital planet of Sometaaw. the sometaar are an aggressive race, they emphasize a lot on power and love combat. they are very similar to humans in biology except for their wolf/fox ears, sharp canines and tail. male sometaar look ferocious, while females have a more seductive appearance.
The Sometaar are fierce and excellent warriors, they are therefore very suitable for front line combat. the majority of them serve in the republic military.

Hailing from the technological planet Dorin. the Delorians are one of the oldest of the member races of the somtaaw republic. due to Dorin having a unique atmosphere composed of helium and a gas unique to their world. they require masks to protect themselves when they leave to oxygen-rich atmospheres.
The Delorians were aware of, and used magic and other arcane arts long before they joined with the Mokai Order. This proud Arcane tradition are known as the Baran Do Sages. one of the few groups of Mokai Master Sages who train and prepare for the return of the Dark Mokai.
