A ringing in your ears alerts you to your consciousness as your vision slowly blurs into view. It takes you a moment to regain your senses, your whole body protests your every move, but you manage to stagger to your feet and take in your surroundings. The ringing in your ears slowly fades, and you're left standing alone in the middle of a street, cracked and overgrown with small patches of grass and weeds, but still discernable as paved.
Looking around yourself, you notice a thick fog beginning to roll in, obscuring most of your vision. While the ringing fades, you become aware to the fact that your head is pounding and you can feel a small trickle of something warm behind your ear. Touching it reveals your suspicion; you're bleeding. A slight shiver crawls up your spine as the air suddenly becomes colder, the fog gently lapping at your skin. You tuck your hands into your pockets and shrink into yourself, trying to contain your body-heat, and find a crumpled piece of paper.
You pull the paper out and open it, your breath starting to show itself on the chilled air, and read the words "Welcome Home".
This is a heavily Silent Hill influenced RP that I have had in the works for almost 3 years. The elements of horror that will be featured in it are highly mature rated, featuring blood, gore, strong language, strong violence, sexual themes, and strong psychological imagery, so please, if you are not 18 years or older, this RP is not for you.

Characters in this RP are to be realistic. No one is perfect in everything, we have weaknesses and flaws as well as our strengths and skills. Please do your best to reflect this in your character.
Killing another player for any reason is not allowed unless both players consent to it and let me know.
Death is possible through the gameplay, meaning that I can kill a character through a natural event, or a monster. This will not happen often, as it defeats the purpose of having players if they all die off, however, I want it to be known that it can happen, so please, keep that in mind when you post actions.
In the event of a situation that can result in a Character death, I will notify everyone on the post by adding ****WARNING**** at the bottom, as well as message the player who is in immediate danger, so as to give everyone a fighting chance.
