This means I should be able to make it to the next ledge near the ceiling because I've equipped the high jump ring and taken the alchemist feat which increases the effect of the high jump ring so long as my character understands its composition which I have in fact proven in the last dungeon.

(For those who don't know, Whump is the name of angst that normally involves injury or illness. For example, Character A being badly wounded and Character B holding them until help arrives, begging them not to die on them.)

Er yeah hey but maybe don't though? I mean we're glad to accept new people (Still jazzed about Amber *thumbs up and winks to Markov*) but with a choice like bloodstone...Just...be careful to make it fit the setting?

Not to say you can't, just saying with a name like Bloodstone, first impressions are rough. Maybe give a concept first before you write a long CS?

I know this sounds harsh, but Kouki, and by co-gm extension I, is/are kinda particular about the characters fitting the setting. I just don't want you to get discouraged if your CS isn't accepted. Yet again just a short summary might be best before you fill everything in.

Oh geez, uh...Definitely first page but I dunno how far from there. I mean, if you skim through and read Kouki's posts you can get most of the setting changes and events and whatnot. I think the most important ones are 1, 3, and DE-FIN-ITE-LY 4. I think the others can be skimmed. 4 is the focal shift into the battle though, so probably a good place to start.

And read mine too while you're at it. Not for any real plot developments, I just want to brag.

On plotlines I want to see: I'd really like to see Amber slowly become unhappy with her status as an experimental Gem. That she wasn't created for a real purpose and falls outside of what her society would deem acceptable. And then I want her to become okay with that. Name: Laura Robin Jane

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Species: Human

Appearance: Laura is a somewhat thin woman with wide shoulders. Her hair is dark red as she dies it and it is down to her shoulders in length. She has green eyes and is somewhat pale, often dark circles are under her eyes that she covers with makeup. Normally she keeps her hair back in a very short ponytail with two large tufts of hair hanging down from her temples. Laura's go to outfit choice is a blouse and knee length skirt with short high heels. She has brown rimmed glasses but also owns contact lenses for when she isn't teaching. When dressed in her dancing clothes she wears an all black outfit with tall high heels, gloves, shoulder pads, and a jet black wig that is styled usually to be straight. Rhinestones decorate her belt, with a large one over her heart. When dancing she wears a lot of dark yet glittery makeup to hide who she is. An alternative outfit she wears for dancing is a glitzy black suit with a bow tie and top hat when the dancing number calls for it.

History: Laura was born in Empire City. Growing up she had a younger brother and two older sisters. The often squabbled when they were together. Her father owned a store while her mother was a nurse. At a young age she was interested in dance and would compete with her eldest sister for attention in dance. There was a great deal of animosity between the two. During one dance she accidentally fell on stage and broke down crying in embarrassment. Rather than rebound from that she ran off stage and didn't return to dancing for many years.

In high school she discovered she got along really well with her teachers and was often accused of being a teacher's pet. She was timid and often considered a nerd. Laura started helping tutor other students and began working at her dad's store. It was then that her parents got divorced and she stayed living with her father and visited her mother often. The divorce really tore her up inside and made her more cut off from others and quiet.

During college early on she didn't know what she wanted to be. After reconnecting with her teachers from earlier grades she decided she wanted to become a teacher. She somewhat became more outgoing in college and moved out and into her own apartment. To help pay her way through college she took to an old hobby and began dancing in shows in Empire City at night. She was still very embarrassed about dancing and worried it would make her appear unprofessional to the parents of students, so she always wore a mask or hid her face under layers of makeup in combination with a wig. When in her alter ego she put on the persona of a glamorous entertainer who was bold, flirty, and strong. She had her first girlfriend in college and things seemed great but slowly they drifted apart and stopped dating just before Laura graduated.

After graduating she immediately started teaching and quit dancing. Everything went fine for a while but she always felt the limelight calling to her. Again in secret she returned to working as a dancer. This was very difficult for her, as she still had to spend most of her time either working, planning for school, or grading papers. It took its toll on her and her colleagues noticed that she was really stressed. To help her she was recommended therapy which she started very recently. Through therapy Laura learned that she felt she was missing something in life and began to try and figure out just what that missing thing was.

I do not know what “chill out” means but I undergo heavy meditation every day to focus my energy and continue functioning.

Hmmm, that's kinda hard. I stress out a lot, haha. But the most stressful would have to be when I decided to abandon the Homeworld gems and stay on Earth. It took be a while to actually make that decision.

That's an easy one. I like to doodle, or paint. Anything, really. Calm music helps too, like jazz or something.

My life has been pretty short.... It would have to be when Jade and the other Gems found me. I didn't know who they were or where I was. It was really scary.

2)It’s so hard sometimes, describe a relaxing day for me, how do you chill out when you’re stressed?
Relaxation. That's been a little hard to come by. Jade's been keeping me busy with lessons. Though, sometimes, I find her voice rather soothing, like when she's telling me about Homeworld's history.

3)What’s your guilty pleasure? Anything you don’t like to tell others?
Guilty pleasure? Something that I like that I'm not supposed to.... I kind of like it when the other Gems verbally fight. They're so fast and clever sometimes. I'd never be able to think up half the things they say.

When I think of home I think of what it was like right before I formed the first time. I remember something warm on my gem. I found out later that it was light from the sun. It was nice. I think home would feel like that.

Well...My emergence day was pretty rough. Citrine's are born to fight immediately, so being born in an enclosed space made me go wild for a while. I...I don't know what would have happened if Jade hadn't calmed me down.

Hanging out with Tiger, mostly. She's a quartz too, but she's such a softie. It makes me feel like I don't have to accept the job I was designed for as the only thing I can do, y'know? Though I do enjoy a good fight every once in a while.

Hmm...I'm not sure what you mean. I have skipped daily training to play gem hunt with Tiger before and got punished by Jade, does that count? (Citrine has no concept of guilt when it comes to things she enjoys)

Likely cutting communication with Homeworld. A foolish tactic for most, however I could not allow my studies to be halted so soon. The lack of supplies and assistant gems has hindered progress, though perhaps some of these rebel gems could be of use.

An illogical inquiry. I am an Azurite, relaxation is not a part of my function. Nevertheless, my work keeps me satisfied.
