LIMBO.

an uncertain period of awaiting a decision or resolution;
an intermediate state or condition.
You don't remember much. In fact, you hardly remember anything. How you got here is a mystery. After a while you were able to recall your name. Soon, the memory of your mother's kiss on your cheek will fade. You'll forget what it was like to be warm, and dry, and safe.
You may even forget who your enemy is.
But, until you remember, you're stuck in Limbo, like us. At least, that's the name we gave it. We're your friends, don't worry. We don't remember anything either. Numbers make us strong, though. Strong against Limbo. Strong against the enemy. And believe me, we need that strength.
We know there's a way out of Limbo. Please.. help us find it.

There WILL be deaths. I have planned the deaths to be once per chapter. The deaths are chosen randomly. It's sort of like mafia, except a random name picker will pick instead of murderous killers.
This roleplay is giving up a certain element of reality because of nicknames / usernames / etc. However, please keep in mind. This is a roleplay. There's already a bunch of reality getting thrown out here. So don't go ragging on people.
The roleplay ends when everyone is dead, or we escape from Limbo.

Alright, so here's a few fun facts.
Your character will not be able to see colors. Only black and white.
Basically, Limbo is a giant obstacle course maze made out of specific memories of every person inside. Let's say I have a bad memory of a nightmare regarding a video game. One chapter of Limbo would revolve around that video game. This game is based of the video / iOS game LIMBO. I suggest watching a walkthrough or two to get the general feel for the aesthetic and all.
This roleplay will cycle in chapters. Basically, a series of time jumps / place jumps, without the awkwardness. Each chapter will be aimed at one particular person / theme. Chapters will be a natural progression of storylines, no time limits / post limits or anything of the sort.
There are other people in Limbo, but they like to hang trespassers, so I'd advise caution.
The ambiance of Limbo is very dark. Plus, everyone's eyes glow. Yes, yours do too.

A wonderful memory: When I told my class about how I suffered from severe depression and that I attempted suicide, some people cried - even people who I thought didn't care that much about me. Everyone showed me so much kindness and love, I got so many kind words (even on paper) and so many hugs and just love, love, LOVE. Love I desperately needed during that time, especially since I thought no one in my class or in my life even cared the slightest bit about me. All that love and kindness is a memory I deeply cherish.

I have lots of bad memories, but the first one that comes to mind is the day my first dog, Pepper, died. We had her for five long years, we had adopted her from the local animal shelter and given her a good home in return for her love. Pepper was a pitbull lab mix and she was the sweetest little angel ever. I have expected her to live at least two more years or so, she was only six the day we lost her. It was a Friday in October. After school, my siblings found her out in the yard, her body frozen. Everyone was devastated, me included. My father said she must have had a heart attack or a stroke during the night. I called my best friend and she came over and comforted me. After she left, we buried Pepper in the backyard. It started raining while we did so. Cliché but fitting. I still miss her, but I'm happy she left me with lots of good memories.

I can't really think of any amazing memories off the top of my head, but I suppose my middle school graduation is one of my better memories, back before highschool turned everything to crap hahahaha. The school was buzzing, all my peers excited for the summer. Some 8th graders were excited for highschool, but I was more nervous than anything. But 9th grade was a whole summer away, so I wasn't quiet that worried about it. I enjoyed the relaxed school day, having friends and classmates sign my yearbook, saying goodbye to all my favorite teachers. At the ending ceremony I even received a certificate for getting good grades! (Won't be getting one of those ever again bahaha!) Afterwards, a couple of my close friends came over and we just messed around outside, enjoying the freedom that summer vacation brought.
