Hours had passed since the Emergency Lock Down has been activated. Hours had passed since there was any movement besides the emergency lights blaring and the sound of the intercom with it's protocol sequence. The halls of the company lay dormant of silence and darkness.

Until the time came to be waken up, only to find the situation had been worse.

John Snow slowly opened his eyes as he felt his head on a key dashboard, as he slowly lifted his head, hearing the sounds of the keyboard pressing up. He groans and moans as he rubbed his neck with his hand, feeling the stiff of his muscles aching as he had slept wrong. Blinking several times for his vision to focus, he finally sees the security camera feeds were distorted. The screens were filled with static.

John examined the screens for only a moment, then grabbed the keyboard and begun typing in his ID Confirmation number, but the only response he would receive was "Error...Error." He had to think for a moment and realized the computer systems were down. No longer functioning correctly in the Security Division. He also realized he was alone in the room, wondering where his partner had gone before he felt unconscious. He had the dispatch radio system activated, he pressed the button. "This is Security Staff John Snow, can anyone respond?" There was silence. "I repeat, this is John Snow in the Security Dispatch Office, can anyone respond?" Still no answer and he had to go find someone who knows what is going on.

Getting up from the chair and stretching out his muscles in his body, he felt his body has ached for a while. He looked around his surroundings and found his extension baton, standard security firearm, 10mm pistol, and of course the usual, a flash light, but small. He attached the small flashlight to his firearm, and grabbed a another and clicked the button. The office was dark, and the only shining light was the screens with static.

He automated doors seemed to have trouble opening. He had to use force to open the doors. It was a struggle until he managed to fit his body through and fall on the floor. He moans a bit from the effort and looked around. The halls were dark, there were sparks from the shafts close to the ceiling, as though the building had gone through a electrical purging. He waved the flashlight in front of him, revealing the dark hidden areas, and started to walk in the hallway. In hopes he could find someone.

Alexa groaned softly as she shifted, feeling the cold floor press uncomfortably against her body. The ground was wet, soaked in water. It had soaked into her hair, clothing and bandages. The sink above her was still running and she could hear the the water spilling over the counter and onto the floor. She slowly started to push herself up, slipping a little on the slick wet tiles, her head hurt and she could only assume she'd hit it when she'd fallen. The question was, how long had she been out? and why hadn't anyone come in to help her? Something was wrong but it might as well be a pitch black world full of noise.

Alexa reached up, feeling for the edge of the counter before she started pulling herself up, feeling to the handle before turning off the water. She shivered from the air hitting her wet skin before she started feeling her way in the direction she thought she remembered the door being. It took her a while of careful steps and feeling along the wall before she reached the familiar handle for the door. She stepped to the side before pulling it open. "Hello?" She asked quietly. She could hear the protocol's going off, something must have happened but as she continued to listen... there was no other sound... no footsteps rushing around, no voices calling, nothing she would associate with a situation that needed people to be doing something. "Hello?" She asked again slowly stepping out. "Is anyone there?" She asked. She wished she could see, walking out into the open, wet and cold and not that far out of surgery.. this was like a horror movie... or just a bad dream but it still scared her. "Hello!?"

She had wanted space to herself. She was only comfortable being around him for so long, still.

He gave her the creeps.

The bathroom was an excuse, watching him stare at screens all day wasn't what she called a fun day. She didn't think any fourteen, and a half, year old girl would find watching creepy men stare at screens to be a real 'blast'.

Talking about blasts...something...happened...

Yumi was confused to why her senses were spinning and puzzled. On top of this she didn't understand why she was laying on the bathroom floor. Her family blue eyes opened into a world of on and off red, emergency lights she had only seen on streamed films were coming on and off. The girl would have fumbled for her wrist phone but quickly remembered that John's 'work' was a place where all signals to the outside world suddenly died.

The back of her skull gently thumped, but each was a little reminding push of pain as blood coursed through. Yumi rolled around, fixing her pleated black skirt - she had worn her school outfit here. In America it was fashionable and cultural.

"I..." Yumi stared at the red bulbs with a very fearful and vexed expression. Bumbling out of the bathroom, this strange reality still lingered - destruction and red lights...on...and off...and red and darkness...

Her hands met at the center of her chest. Be strong. She told herself, it had to be nothing -a really bad technical error that was all.

That was all it had to be...

Ever since day one, his parents made sure he was under surveillance from at least one guard. Quinn found that irritating, his freedom ripped off from him as he was forced to mindlessly obey things. He hated that. Thankfully, most of him was fixed, except for his voice box.

He thought that they're hesitating to give him a voice because the first word he'd utter just might be 'Fuck'.

It wasn't a bad idea.

Bleary blue eyes blinked open and peered into the gloom, the darkness covering the narrow passageway barely a foot in front of him. Quinn stared for a while, confusion running through him. What was he doing again? How did this happen?

Oh yeah. The guard on duty asked him to be good while he went to relieve his bladder and Quinn took that as his chance to slip into the airvent in his room. He managed to go a few feet before... Before... Before... He scrunched his nose in irritation.

What happened again? Did he rig something? Most certainly not... Right? Right? He'd feal with the confusion later. Je needed to get out of the vent first. Feeling in front of him, he felt a latch of sorts and a grate, causing him to grin. That wasn't too hard. Patting the metal surface, he heard footsteps, and decided to make his presence known by rattling the grate and opening it, making it clatter with the wall.

*Clank* *Clank* It was a little harder to manage without a voice, but it's okay; he only needed someone to look this way and have them tell him what happened.

John recalled Yumi, his sister wanted to go to the restroom and his partner had taken her to the nearest one. He walked to the restroom where his sister would be, but as for any signs of his partner, he had no clue where he was as well. Keeping a hand on the fire arm and his other hand on the flashlight. He kept moving down the dark tunnel with only red lights blaring, and the protocol intercom stuttering out the words, the system was corrupted.

"E-e-e-emergency Lock Down. All Staff and Resi-i-i-i-idents Please move to E-e-e-evacuation s-s-site."

Pointing the flashlight around every corner he took, the halls were still to quiet. His heart beating, adrenaline moved through his blood, heighten his sense to be more focus. As he continued walking, he called out for his sister in the dark. "Yumi!!" His voice echoed down the hall, as though he was in a cave filled with nothing, but dark and empty space.

His foot stumbled as though he slipped on something wet, he looked down only to see red color. He bent down and touches it with his finger and revealed it to the light source. Blood. Someone was either stabbed or shot here at this spot, but the blood showed a sign of the body being dragged in the opposite way of another hall. He flashed the hall way. Only to see more darkness. The red blaring lights didn't help much. But he kept going towards the restroom where he would find his sister. "Yumi!!!!" He called out again, filling the empty hall with his voice.

Cynthia groaned as she awoke, her body laying on the cold floor and the sounds and lights making her headache even worse. Grabbing onto the edge of the desk she pulled herself up and as she stumbled to find her footing she looked around only to find chaos.

"What the hell...?

It seemed like she was the only person awake. Her coworkers were strewn all about the lab in different positions on the floors, desks, and walls of the room. The only thing that was lit up enough to make out any features was "Billy", their experimental robot, and the black motion suit next to him.

Fumbling to walk and relying on the walls to hold her weight Cynthia made her way to Yin's desk and sat down in front of the computer. As she expected the power was cut even to the lab and the damned thing wouldn't even turn on. Silently cursing herself she took the USB out of the computer and put it into her pocket. Their research information was automatically stored in these drives in every one of their computers. Not all of it, but just enough to where it wouldn't take another four years to finish.

Finally able to find her footing the young scientist made her way over to the door and pushed, but not thing happened.

Damn, something, or someone, must be blocking it on the other side.

Pushing more and more she couldn't get the door to budge more than an inch.

"Hey! Anyone out there!"

During the emergency protocol.

Several sentries were activated and roamed thr halls on their own. Some tended to their own duties like the MMS units. Repairing what was destroyed, but only a couple were active. Others such as the AS units were roaming around the facility. And the SS units remained where they were stationed. Though since the Emergency Protocol has activated, the SS carried rifles as part of their programming to contain certain situations, such as riots. The MS units remained in the medical rooms as programmed, and kept the medical rooms in shape and cleaned.

A AS unit was walking down the hall when he heard a low voice from a door. He stopped and turned towards the door. "Hello?" He answers, "I am AS-12, how can I assist you?" He asked through the door. Then he looked to the over ride switch. Extending his arm to active the over ride program. He managed to open the door and finds a female human. Using his scanner to identify the human. He gives a polite bow.

"Greeting Cynthia, how can this unit be of assistance to you?" Then he looked to the collapse bodies on the ground. He scan their signature life forms. "Excuse me, but it is seems your co-workers have ceased to function...shall I contact a MS unit to this area?" AS-13 tilted his head. "Odd...my communication system has malfunctioned." He straightened his head. "Is there anything else I can assist?"

Alexa hadn't wondered far from the bathroom door, not feeling like it was safe to wounder when she couldn't see where she was going and no seemed to be around. One hand was against the wall as she tried listening for the sound of anyone moving, anything. She almost through she heard some shouting in the distance, but if there was to distant to make out really, could just be her wishful thinking. before she could think further on it something above her head rattled and hit the wall and she couldn't help a scream at the sudden and loud noise, ducking and she threw her hands over her head instinctively. She couldn't pin point exactly where the noise had come from but it was somewhere above her. Nothing fell on upon her though, not more then a bit of dust so after a moment she lifter her head. "Hello?" She asked shakily. "Is someone there?" She trembling after the scare but she tried to stand again, using the wall as more then just a guide this time.

A girl's voice registered in his ears and he blinked down. He could see a girl, looking everywhere, sometimes at him. Almost immediately, he took notice that she was blind. After all, it's impossible not to see him when he's pretty much there, peering ack down at her. Perfect!. He scratched the back of his head.

'She's blind, and I'm mute... Awww...' He was partially irritated and frustrated. He could sign to her, but she couldn't see. What was he supposed to do? Clank cymbals? Tap in Morse code? This is ridiculous! With a bleak expression, he slid down from where he was, landing on the floor with a soft thump before staring at the girl. Well, he could wait for her to approach first, right? Using the heel of his floor, he stomped against the floor, making soft sounds to indicate where he was, not really sure ow he'd talk to a blind girl. Maybe if she extended her hand he could sign on her skin? It works sometimes...

She woke on laying on the ground, he head was throbbing. Andy pushed herself up into a sitting position looking around thinking she had a seizure. It had been a while since she had one the medication she had been using had been working well. Jumping to her feet she wondered, had she remembered to take the medication? Looking over to her desk she spotted the pill bottle on it. She picked it up opening it then closing her eyes trying to remember. “Screw it.” She said then popped a pill in her mouth letting it dissolve on her tongue. It tasted horrible but it worked best that way. She finally took the time to look around realizing that the buzzing wasn't completely in her head. The emergency system was sounding. She walked out of her office into the main labs seeing many of her coworkers on the ground. “What the heck is going on?” Andy said looking around. She spotted Cynthia by the door with a sentry. “Cynthia?”

Cynthia held back a scream as she saw the bodies on the floor. They were bloody and seemed like they were mauled by an...animal? Oh God...what is going on...? Taking a deep breath she tried to get it all together and feign confidence the best she could. "Y-yes, take me to the security rooms."

Hearing a voice behind her the young scientist jumped but calmed down when she started to recognize it. Turning around she could have almost jumped for joy. "Thank God, someone is still alive!" She brought Andy into a hug. "Everyone is dead, I have no idea what the hell is going on, I feel like I'm about to be sick to my stomach, and....it's just really good to see a familiar face right now."

Cynthia led her to the door where AS-12 was waiting. "Hello Dr. St. Vincent, may I be of some service to you as well?"

"I've asked him to lead us to the security ward. I think it'll be the safest place from whatever is going on. Maybe the cameras saw something too. Besides," she looked behind them at the bodies on the ground, "it's better than staying here." As the AS Unit walked off she followed, motioning Andy to follow.

Yumi prolongedly kept to her state of uncertainty, her young features staring at the lights of faltering red. A roar, yelling startled her and she stumbled back to the girl's bathroom, her hand nervously touching the door - ready to push it open and rush inside. The push of blood moved faster, the thump of her head increasing with it.

The man's yell came again, and she came to realize as a flashlight was staring to illuminate that hall she was in that the voice was John's. She grit her teeth and made a soft sound of displeasure.

The flashlight had shined over it, bothering her eyes, but with the light she saw a glint of a gun and John's fearsome expression. Turning, Yumi started to run away from John - they said men never came back from war the same. She didn't want him to hurt her when he was going to freak out in this situation.

It was only a technical issue and John went for his gun. Her breath huffed, hair dancing around with her skirt - how could she trust a man who was gun first, figure it out.

John shined the light upon a person who seemed very frightened of him. When he realized who it was, his sister started running away from him. Removing his hand from the weapon and his hand extended put to reach for her. " Hey! Yumi!" He called out to her again, chasing after her with the flash light still shining on her. Though she was more a little faster then he was.

He was thinking about the light flashing her eyes may have scared her. Or was it him particular? He didn't know. He hasn't felt the same since Afghanistan. Losing men, left and right. He earned a nickname for his missions. "Soul Survivor." It wasn't very glamorous or courageous, but it was because he was still alive.

He finally caught up to the girl and blocked her path. He dropped the light source and placed both of his hands on her shoulders, "Yumi! Stop!" He begged, "Just stop running, alright? It's me...John...your brother." He stood straight and thought about that for a moment. He was breathing a little heavy then usual. "You scared me...are you alright?" He asked, trying his best to be the brother she remembered. Yumi's startled and soft body shook in his hands. She pursed her lips, they sparkled with a girl's lipgloss.

Haha said to be careful of John. She said that being out there did things, and warned Yumi what might happen if John was made to 'really think' about those things. It was a passing warning - but haha and chichi didn't think this weird stuff with the flashing red lights and damage would happen. Maybe this kind of place was the place where John might relive those things about The Long War on Terror.

She made a small sounds of distress, maybe a whimper. Looking away Yumi didn't jerk out of John's touch. He was holding firmly.

"Your job is acting very unordinary" she spoke with a small shiver of fear in her voice. Her little black heel had accidentally bumped against John's shoe, "Gomennasi" she muttered strictly out of cultural habit. The tip of her nose wrinkled - John's shoe was oddly shiny and reflective of the red light when it flashed. The light of the flashlight was only giving her a glimpse of the toe of his work dress shoe. The black leather had a really dark stain on it. She stared, trying to figure it out.

John looked at Yumi for a moment. "Don't worry...I'm here." He did his best to assure his sister everything will be fine. He stands up straighten and brushed off some dirt off of Yumi's uniform. "Why did you even wear that?" He asked, feeling curious about her clothing. "Anata wa baka desu." He said with a smile.

Forcing himself to be more simple around his sister, felt very odd. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Speaking Japanese was even more weird, but he shouldn't be neglecting his own culture. Soon as he picked up his flash light, he looked around and wanted to find someone. Someone who knows what is going on. "Did you wake up too?" He asked Yumi as he flashed his light around. "And don't worry about this." He said patting on his weapon. "I'll only use it when something or someone wants to hurt us...okay?" He looked at Yumi with a concern, but trying a gentle look as well.

He could hear the clink of his synthetic arm touching the gun. His expression changed quickly as he could hear the metal, but not feeling with his own flesh was shocking at first when he had the surgery for it. He looked at his arm. Motioning his hand with his fingers, he lets out a soft sigh. "Come on." He says softly. "Let's see if we can get out of this place." Yumi crossed her arms, not swayed by his reassurances or his smile. She stared at the gun.

"Why did you have it drawn in the first place? It is only a technical problem" Yumi protested, giving up trying to figure out what was on John's shoe once the flashlight was taking from his footwear. She turned away from him, putting her fingers together and playing with them. "Wake up too...you passed out too...?" Yumi asked hesitantly.

John stopped in his steps and slightly turned his head. "Yeah." He gives a low nod. "Last thing I can remember is..." He pondered for a moment. "...is..." He mind went blank, thinking of the sirens and the blaring, his heart raced. He was close to panicking. Then his eyes closed on their own, and then he woke up where he started.

John sighs as he touched his forehead with his fingers. "Let's just say I woke up with a bad cramp." He looked around with the light. He noticed she stared at the gun. He placed his hand on the safety and clicked it on. "There." He said. "I don't want you to worry about me." He turned to face her. "I'm...still me...I'm...still here." Yumi frowned.

"Haha is going to be pissed" If she knew something like this happened, Yumi knew she'd never be able to come back to America. Her blue half-Caucasian eyes stared up at John, moving them away from the clicked gun. She never liked guns - not after the generation of gun violence this world has seen. Haha had taught her from an early age to avoid guns at all costs.

"She won't be, and she doesn't have to find out about this." He mumbled a little. "Why did they sent you to me anyway?" He asked, feeling curious about her visit. "Is it because mom and dad wants us to be closer?"

"I am not acquainted with your father" Yumi quickly corrected, and John didn't go out of his way to know her chichi either.

John stopped and looked on the ground. More red color, but it looked more like a puddle. "Oh..great." John mumbled to himself. "Yumi, don't look." He said while examining the marked site.

Yumi had been too busy keeping her eyes of John and up at the flashing lights to even care about what he was looking at - her mind wrapping around the question.

"Haha wants you to come home...maybe..." I was to be the one that made you come back. "But she knew you wouldn't come, I was made to visit you then." Yumi kept it dry but she sighed and rubbed her neck. He clearly didn't care about her and them, not when it really mattered - he didn't come home when haha had asked. He never stayed after the war, she supposed jobs like this were of more importance than his haha and imouto.

John groaned as she mentioned they wanted him back. He thought about it for a second. Did they want me back as I am? Or as someone before? He thought about it, but didn't consider it much. After examining the puddle of blood, he looked around for any bodies laying around, trying his best to avoid the dead confronting his sister. He stood up faced towards Yumi. "I can't come back to her...not yet." He turned again and walked slowly as he examined the hall. "So...how is he?" He asked, "Your father I mean..." He cleared his throat and kept shining the light and his metal arm near his weapon. "And mom, how is she? Is she being treated well?"

John didn't like the idea of his parents splitting, nor the idea of who gets who after the divorce was final. Since he was a teen, he been mostly yearning for his mother. But now, after the war, after the terror. He felt a piece of him had died on that field, after losing his arm.

Yumi sighed.

"Why are we speaking about this now?" She huffed. He didn't care before, no contact from him. "I want to leave, your job is not..." She paused "still working...?" She asked with some hesitation, not sure how to frame it. He couldn't work here now, it's destroyed for some reason.

"What?" He questioned quickly, "I was only asking to pass time." He scoffed. "And...just wondering how mom was doing." He says softly. Then he stopped, pointing the flash light down. "I...I'm just curious."

Meanwhile, another Assistance Sentry heard the clink, stepping out from it's position and moved towards the sudden sound. Discovering a boy who looked frightened and a young girl with a bandage over her eyes. The Sentry walked forward and scanned their body for analysis. "Greeting." The Sentry said, "I am Assistance Sentry designation number 89, AS-89, how can I be of assistance?" It asked as the sentry helped with the blind woman, "Please, ma'am you should not be wondering around on your own." The Sentry became the girls guide for a moment to a chair and then faced the boy. "You are still in recovery of your surgery, both of you should not be here. You both should be in the Evacuation Zone." The Sentry stood straight. "I will notify the Security division to send a patrol to escort you both to the Evacuation Zone. The Sentry tilted his head. "Odd...my communication transmission is damaged or unable to inform the Security Division." The Sentry looked around. "This area is not safe, we must head to the nearest Security Room for safety. Please follow me, I will lead you."

AS-12 lead the two to the nearest Security Room. But when they had reached the room. They had discovered the room was in poor condition. Bodies of security teams on the ground with bullet proof vests on, riot helmets with blood stains covering the face screen. Security Sentries ripped apart, electrical wiring exposed and sparkled, and flashed the room lightly. Bullet holes on the walls and the computers. "Oh my." The Sentry said as he stepped in and looked around. "This area is not safe." It said, "We must head to the Evacuation Zone or another Security Division." The Sentry looked down and noticed a body was dragged out of the room, it lead somewhere, but in the opposite direction of the hall. "To avoid any further incidents, and un-necessary death, shall we go this way?" He asked pointing towards a less hazardous hallway. "Please, we must find another security room and remain inside until a rescue unit is sent."

A Security Sentry roamed the halls with a rifle in it's arms. The Sentry noticed John and Yumi walking in the halls. He stopped and activated it's head light. "Halt!" He declared. "State your name and rank!"

John raised his hand and stepped in front of Yumi. "John Snow! Security Staff Member! ID Two Six Five Alpha Beta." The Sentry deactivated it's light. "Identity recognized." It stepped forward with its' weapon lowered. "I am SS-89." The Sentry looked around. "We must remain high alert, this area threat is imminent, we need to move to the Evacuation Zone or to a nearby Security Room." The SS unit moved. "We will try the Evacuation Zone first, I recommend weapons out."

John watched the Sentry walked. He looked to Yumi. "Hey come on." He said softly. Reaching for her hand and pulling her with him. "You heard him, we can't stay here, we have to get to the Evacuation Zone and then I can send you back home with mom..." He let's go and takes in a deep breath. "And maybe I'll come along with you to see how's she doing."

Alexa heard a thump not to far from her and jumped, her head swiveled in that directly but for nothing really, it was just out of reaction. "W-who's there?" The only answer she seemed to get was a soft sound that sounded... like well she really wasn't sure. "Hello?" She was sure... someone of something was in the hall with her but she wasn't getting much of a reply.

She jumped at another sound, a robotic sounding voice, but a voice none the less. She felt cold hands take hold of her and then her to sit down in a chair as it told her she should not be wandering around alone. Well she hadn't much choice it had seemed, she had had someone around to help her move around when she needed to but it seemed they were gone. The Sentry started talking and mentioned 'both' meaning there was another person here. so why hadn't they answered her? It then proceeded to mention that they should be in an evacuation zone... and that it was not safe. "What?" She asked turning her head in the direction of the sentry. "What happened? why is it not safe?" She asked. "What's going on?" She felt some form of dread that she might not have if the sentry had just said something else...

Returning the hug Andy pulled back briefly looking at the sentry then back into the labs seeing the people on the floor. She hadn't noticed the blood before. A gasp escaped her lips as she brought her hand up covering her mouth. "Oh my god they are dead!" She said. When she first entered the labs she had seen them there but had thought they were asleep like she had been but now that her eyes were adjusting to the emergency lights she could see them more clearly. What could have attacked them? Her knees grew weak when she realized that if she hadn't been in her office she could have been killed along with them. The sentry wrapped an arm around her helping to steady her.

She held onto it's metal side for a moment not moving until it spoke. "Dr. St. Vincent we should be heading to the Security Ward."

"Yes. I think we should." Andy said tucking the bottle of medication she had in her hand still into her pocket.

It was a little frustrating because one, he was standing right in front of her, two, he couldn't talk, three, she couldn't see... And it all made him sigh soundlessly and shake his head. The sound of something approaching made him tense before his eyes rested on the sentry, who forced the girl into a wheelchair of sorts. Maybe because she was blind? He internally winced at his words. The bot tried to take him by the hand as well, but he raised his arms in defiance and went to the other side. Sure that he was away, he reached down and lightly patted the girl's cheek, enough to tell her that there was another presence.

Actually, he was just about to run off when the sentry decided to keep a tight hold on him. Quinn furrowed his brows, lips moving silently as he tried to word out cusses. He just wanted to get away. Who cares about whatever the hell happened here? Obviously, it ws pretty hard to struggle away from a bit so he decided to just scowl and follow, feeling trapped because of the robotic hand acting as cuffs on his hands.

The Sentries lead the remaining survivors through the hallways as each hall was dark, the lights barely worked as they managed to pass the dangerous areas. When they all had arrived to one specific door. The Sentries stood by as the Security Sentry opened the door.

"Please all Staff and Residents entered the Evacuation Zone." The Sentries would say.

When the group entered inside, they will noticed they are the only ones inside. But the elevators and emergency exists ceased to function. Not even the Sentries could open the doors. The Security Sentry stood outside and kept on guard with the rifle in its' metal arms. AS-89 assisted with the blind woman to a chair nearby and looked at the boy. "Please remain with Alexa, her eye sight should return soon, but it is acquired to restrain her from removing the bandage, or going any near bright light areas." AS-89 stood up and walked to assist others.

AS-12 helped the other to a seat and waited patiently. "If there is anything this unit can do, please do not be shy to ask." AS-12 waited for instructions from the two.

John sighs as he sat down on a chair and looked around. He was curious of who the others were. He did seen the boy several times before for multiple escapes and assaults. "Does anyone know anything?" He asked as he got up and looked around the room. "I mean...we're the only ones in this room." He rubbed the back of his head. "Oh...I'm John Snow, Security Staff...I woke up in the Security Office..." He looked around. "...and...yeah." He sighs and rubbed his neck.

Alexa had flinched a little at the pat on her cheek, realizing someone was here a little while ago but having them actually touch her when she hadn't expected it was.. well... She swallowed slowly before they were being moved. She wasn't sure if she felt safe even with the sentry here, she couldn't see and in a place she didn't know, with people she didn't know and a situation she couldn't help herself in was... unnerving... terrifying...

It didn't seem to take them to long to get to where the sentry was taking them. Still it felt longer then it should have. She'd gotten used to being blind but it was like she could feel Literal darkness pressing in on her, she wasn't sure about anything at the moment. She was shocked out of almost hyperventilating in the near silence when the Sentry helped her up and moved her through to another room and helped her to another chair. She set, taking a deep breath as the Sentry told the other person she was guessing to be with her to stay with her, keep her from removing the bandages or wandering into bright areas. She wasn't likely to go anywhere on her own so need for worry about that.

She turned her head though realizing she could hear others... where there others? but there didn't seem to be that many.. she would expect more... more people... She turned her head at another sound, a voice, human and not metallic... "Being part of the security staff... shouldn't you be the one to answer that question?" Alexa found herself asking the male voice who said he was John snow. "I woke up in the bathroom..." She said quietly rubbing her now dry arms, though her cloths were still cold and damp.

Thankfully, Quinn decided to stick with orders, quietly following the sentry. Usually, he'd stomp his way back, to show his irritation, but he kept his footsteps light and soft. As they entered the room, he immediately saw a few others, and definitely wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Call him selfish, but he was completely focused on getting out of here. Still, where are the others? Nodding at the sentry, since he couldn't exactly talk, he stood by the blind girl, mulling over trying to find a way how to communicate. He always hated this part.

When AS-12 asked if it could help with anything, he quickly gestured a rectangle, and made it as if he was typing in thin air. It was his signal for wanting his PDA. Or any PDA, but he wasn't sure if the sentry had that on hand. And besides, he didn't know if anyone knew sign language, but it was worth a try while waiting for his PDA.

'Some gas in the vents probably. I passed out there. But I'm not sure since I'm no personnel.' He signed at John, hoping the man would understand. If he didn't, well, he needed his PDA that bad. Or a notebook and a pen. 'Where are the others?'

Yumi was growing more and more timid after the robot had nearly shot her, the sight of guns really shaking her to her core. The sight of the grown woman brought her some concern. This was already scary, but to be blond was more dreadful. But Yumi had bit her lower lip when she had seen the guy, he was cute with his vibrant hair that matched her dyed locks and bright blue eyes...similar to her she realized but he was still really cute. Yumi grabbed onto John's wrist as he was standing.

"He's asking where others are..." Yumi said after she had studied the guy's bony but attractive and long fingers and hand gestures. She hadn't expected him to be mute - not that she knew what a mute guy was supposed to look like, but she had only studied international sign language for extra academic credentials. It was her first time actually using it thought, some of it still fuzzy...something about gas? How handy was it now? "Ano..." Yumi sounded out in thought "This is becoming weird" everyone passing out was starting to unnerved the teenager.

She followed the sentry to the evacuation point trying to focus on the machines rather the what was around them. The scene in the labs was still fresh in her mind. Not that she had never seen a dead body before she had seen plenty in medical school. Before being recruited she had been assigned to an emergency room for her internship but had only worked a couple days and they were pretty mild. Once they arrived she took note of how many were there. She had expected to see more people here instead of the hand full of people. She looked over to John when he spoke asking if they knew what happened. She figured if anyone knew it would be him. "I woke up in my office. The lab was a gresume sight I don't know what happened." She said. "Everyone bit us was dead."

John listened to what the others had to say and where they all had woken up. Some of them even looked to John, their eyes are asking what he would know of what happened during their time of being unconscious. When they were in their slumber, the facility took a huge toll of destruction and chaos. Not only the damage, but the people, both staff and residents were found dead. Blood was spilled on the cold floor, and hardly anyone was around.

John sighs heavily as he scratched his head to figure out what happened as well. "I wish I had some information of what happened, but unfortunatly, the security camera's in the security room showed nothing, but static." He remained still where he was, but was more curious why only a handful of people were still alive? He looked to the Sentries as they placed their care for the humans. "Maybe they know?" He pointed at one, "Hey um...12?"

The Sentry looked to John and gives a small nod, "Yes Officer? How can this unit be of help?" It asked with a calm tone in it's voice. John sighs softly, "Do you know anything of what happened to this facility? Why are we are in a Evacuation protocol?" The Sentry tilted it's head, "I'm sorry, but it seems my hard drive was deleted, first activation sequence resumed at approximately 18 hours ago."

John was a little surprised about the timing of when they felt asleep. "So...we been sleeping for that long?" His heart raced a little, "No wonder I had that pain in my neck." He groaned a bit.

"However, since the Evacuation Protocol sequence activated, I had failed to find any other humans within the facility, only to find Dr. Vincent, and Dr. Kane in the laboratory area."

John examined each of the individual inside of the rooms. The blind girl was pretty, but couldn't help it, but stare at her for a moment only to see she had received surgery not too long ago. And the boy who was doing the sign language was young and a bandage around his throat seemed even more promising. Dr. Vincent and Dr. Kane both were brunettes, and yet almost look similar as twins, and both were found in the lab. When he heard about the bodies, he lowered his head.

"I'm sorry about your friends." He said. "Or co-workers, or however you go by it." He sighs once more as there were still more questions needed to be asked, and no one in this room do not have the answers. He looked to the door as he noticed the Security Sentry seemed agitated when they both spot a figure in the dark walking towards the room. "Hey...what is that?" He asked softly as he started to hear a metallic sound of scraping metal. He looked at the figure closely as whomever it was, was dragging something.

The Security Sentry became active with the weapon in it's arms. "Halt! Place down your weapon and lay on the ground, face flat." It said while aiming at the figure. "If you do not comply, you will be shot!" The Sentry warned.

Turned out the figure was one of the doctors, but was moving at a slow pace, dragging what seemed like a sledge hammer. The weapon itself had blood stains, which left a trail. The Security made another warning, but during the warning, the docile doctor became berserk and raised the weapon and started to run towards the Sentry. The doctor growled more then yelling or screaming. The Sentry fired it's weapon, putting a few rounds in the doctors torso area, but still came after the Sentry and managed to hit the Sentry with the weapon.

John quickly grabbed his pistol and placed his sister behind him, moving to the entrance quickly while aiming his sights at the doctor. "Put it down now!" He shouted the order. The doctor hits the Sentry again, knocking the machine on the ground, and hits it more several times with the heavy object. John fired several rounds at the chest, but that did not stopped the doctor.

Moving closer to John, and raised the weapon high up and was ready to strike. John reacted quickly and aimed his gun down to the doctors knee, forcing him to fall on the ground. After several shots, the doctor was on the ground. His eyes pure blood shot red, foam at the mouth, blood all over his face, and from his mouth along with the foam. His voice sounded more like heavy growling.

Johns' hands were shaking, his weapon was a little unstable as he stared at the doctor who crawled slowly towards him. Hand extended out, reaching towards him. In his hesistation, John fired another round, but this time in the head. The doctor fell on the ground completely and did not move a muscle. John was breathing heavily as he kept the gun on the doctor. "What the hell was that?" He asked softly followed along with a tremble in his voice. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" His voice raised with the question.

Quinn sighed soundlessly and shook his head. Information-wise, everyone was twice the idiot, so that left them stumped. Thankfully, his PDA was produced and he was more than pleased to have the item in his hands. Fingers quietly tapping on the on-screen keyboard, he glanced at everyone and lifted the screen up, just below his nose to reveal text. [Mind I ask just why the bots powered off? I thought they were on 24/7?] He felt like he should be worried about his parents, but remembered that they were supposed to be in a congress of sorts. His eyes flitted over to the two doctors, fingers poised to ask them about his parents when the sound of movement approached.

Head lifting and staring at the figure, he pursed his lips. He squinted as the figure approached before his jaw dropped and he took a hesitant step back, just as the sentry moved to protect them. He winced and forced himself to keep still. Gun shots rang out and he shuffled on his feet, wincing and covering his ears. When the... Doctor tried to attack John and a few more shots rang out, he squeezed his eyes shut, counting down from ten to calm himself, though the yelling kind of didn't help.

'How should I know?! I just woke up too!!' He signed, the expression on his face showing both irritation and apprehension. 'And try not to shoot! How are we supposed to hear what's coming next if our ears are ringing?!' Well, his ears were. Scowling he glanced down at the dead doctor, chewing on his bottom lip and looking at everyone else before shakily typing on his PDA.

[Please tell me that this guy just has a bad case of rabies.] He typed, trying not to look at that thing. Give him a six foot five tall gangster, and he'd spit at his feet. This was something he couldn't understand, much less look at.

Yumi blinked as one of the female doctors openly spoke of gruesome death to which she saw happen with her own eyes by John’s hands. The loud firing of the guns was deafening to her ears and the whole experience of the repeatedly pulled trigger horrifying. She was left in a state of shock, hands slowly pulling from her ears – avoiding John or the people he had just…

Yumi’s eyes read the screen of the cute deaf guy and she gave him a good glare. And it was easier to glare at him than to look over to what had taken place. Her body shivered several times over. The robots said evacuation protocols had been removed.

“This is not funny…” She whimpered at the guy and held her knees together, shaking in her skirt. “J-John what do we do?” her teeth clattered – learning by the second that this wasn’t a technical issue.

Alexa was listening to everything said, even the sentries seemed to be confused at the situation, if you could put confusion to a robot. She had been listening when the feeling in the room suddenly got... spooky. Everything happened all at once, she was keenly aware of the sound of dragging metal across the floor somewhere behind her, then one of the sentries told someone to stop moving, apparently it didn't happen because she winced when she heard the heavy sound of something pounding against the sentry's body before she heard the rounds of the shot gun go off.

Alexa's hands shot her her ears but it did nothing to cover up the sound... only when it finely went quite did she remove her hands, Everyone was pretty much silent to John's question... did no one have an answer? She was glad she was blind at the moment... whatever gruesome scene there was... she didn't want to see it. She heard the soft typing of a Pad and after a moment reached out to feel for the person that had been with her before just to know... where he was. Her hands trembling for a moment as she gently touched him for reassurance that she really wasn't alone, even though there were other people in the room it did nothing for her as she shook. "What are we going to do?" She echoed another girls voice.

They attempted to figure out what happened and when John asked the sentry if it recalled anything she was surprised to find that its hard drives had been wiped. Her main focus on the project was attempting to make an neurolink with the sentries and while she understood most of the mechanical aspects it wasn't her area of expertise. She looked over to Cynthia then asked, “Correct me if I am wrong but aren't there safeguards in place to prevent the drives from being erased?”

The other woman didn't get a chance to respond as they heard the sound of metal dragging on the ground. The closer the sound became the easier they could tell that it was a human. Andy gasped when she noticed that the scraping sound was coming from a hammer the man was dragging. A closer look and she realized who that man was. He worked for the facility but she couldn't quite place his name, Dr. Jacobs or was it Jacobi? She didn't get a chance to ponder though because the doctor responded to the Sentry's commands by raising the hammer and charging at them. She gasped again and took a couple steps back having no idea what the man would do. The Sentry fired off several shots that did nothing to stop the man who then began pounding on the machine with his hammer. John took a few shots as well but his he savagely attacked. John hit the man in the knee dropping him to the ground but he kept crawling towards them until John fire a bullet into the man's head.

She watched for a few moments in shock at what she just saw. Then she broke herself from the trance and stepped forward to the man reaching into her pocket to pull out a pair of latex gloves. She always had a couple pairs in the pocket of her coat. Slipping them on she knelt down next to the man closer enough to read his name tag, it was Jacobi. From there she lifted his head looking at his bloodstained eyes and the foam coming from his mouth. “I don't know what could have caused this but my best guess would be an infection or virus of some sort.” She said standing up and peeling the gloves off before reaching into her pocket and removing a small bottle of hand sanitizer cleaning her hands with it. “There could be more infected people around, John is there an armory near here? We might need more weapons.” She had fired a gun a couple of times recalling her childhood, she had lived in the city but during the summer time she would vacation on her uncle's farm. He had tried to teach her to shoot a couple of times but she had always been more interested in her studies then shooting tin cans off a fence. Her mother's intentions of sending her to the farm to spend time with her uncle was to get her out of the house and away from her books but it didn't really work.

Placing his weapon back in his holster and hands shaking non-stop for a moment. He watched as Dr. Kain examined the body. This made him take his gun out again, just in case the man in the white coat got back up again, despite the shot to the head. He watched as she finished her examination. When not only she asked if there was a armory nearby, but his sister asked what to do as well. John rubbed his metal head on his forehead and sighs softly. "There is a small weapons locker in this room, but it is not much." He walked over to a nearby locker with a lock on the side, placing his pistol back in his holster. He pushed in his numbers, as the numbers beep on each touch. There was a sudden sound of a lock being unlocked. John opened the locker to find a rifle, a Standard Security Rifle, M16 and another .10mm pistol, including several magazines for both weapons. He takes the rifle and places the strap over his head and on his shoulder. He looked at the doctor and hands her the pistol. "Since you asked...do you know how to handle a weapon?" He asked.

After handing over the weapon. John looked around in the room for at least a second to see if everyone was still alive. He grabbed his pistol again after placing the rifle to his side, allowing the strap to let the weapon hang as he check the magazine in the pistol. He found a empty clip after firing at the ravaged doctor. "Ammo goes quicker then you think, so if you have to take a shot, only do it when necessary." He said to the doctor while loading another clip. "If you want to get to the armory for more ammo and better guns, we can try and get there without finding more of what ever the hell those things are." John placed the pistol back in the holster and headed towards the door. "I'll take point, you can watch our rear-" His words were cut off as another ravaged person hits John with a pipe. John fells on the ground on his side.

The ravage person was a female, a resident, foam around the mouth, eyes blood shot like the doctor, but mouth area was more gruesome. Half her face looked burnt off, the ravage female resident looked at Dr. Vincent and immediately charged with no delay. Tackling the female doctor on the ground, teeth sinks into her neck flesh, tearing away. Blood gushed out as Dr. Kane lets out a scream of pain. From screaming in pain, becomes a drowning gurgle. John slowly awakes after the hit on the head with the pipe. He looked up and noticed the female resident on top of Dr. Kane. John gets up as quickly as he can, and rushes over to the ravage resident. Grabbing her by the shoulders and throwing the body towards the door. John grabbed his pistol and aimed for the head, like he did before and pulled the trigger. The gun shot sound echoed in the room, he watched the body lays on the ground. "Doctor Vincent!" He called out, turning his head slowly to Dr. Vincent. "I'm not a medic, but it looks like she needs treatment, bad." He remained on look out to see if anymore would come.

Quinn looked at the girl, before signing I wasn't joking at her. He really wasn't, because he had seen that happen to dogs. He startled a bit when he felt someone pat his lower back, going down to his waist and immediately moved away from the touch with a slight frown. He didn't really like being touched like that but supposed that she needed to know where he was. The youth sighed and gently reached for her hand, ghosting his fingers over the palm before gripping it lightly. She needed his eyes, probably, so he couldn't do anything but comply.

As the doctor Andy talked with John, he sighed softly and shook his head. Warning shots were like a light in the dark. Though it could help them find survivors, what if it attracted these infected things instead? His eyes narrowed at the corpse, inching back a little as he tore his eyes away. Just as he did, the sound of commotion rings again and he lets go of the other girl's hand to try and help, though it seemed like he could do nothing more other than stand by John and try to help him stop the blood from flowing out. Clicking his tongue, he gestures to bring her in before they attract more attention, hands already at the wound as he tries to lessen the blood flow.

His eyes kept guard of the hall, waiting for John to take the lead, since his hands were occupied with trying to close the wound. The gurgle wasn't a very good indication of what was happening and he hissed soundlessly. She'd die choking on her own blood if this continues, but Quinn really didn't know what to do.

For a moment the boy took her hand and she felt a little more comfortable but it wasn't long after that the commotion happened again, she could hear the screaming gurgling with another blast. Alexa felt him take his hand away, maybe to go help but still... She wrapped her hands around herself feeling exposed and helpless. She hopped she could see again... and soon... if they managed to survive.

"I-is it just me or dose this have any resemblance to horror films based around zombies?" she asked with a shudder. It sounded like some one got bit and badly... she hopped the resemblance stopped at that and nothing more would go wrong... "We need to get out of here..."

She took the gun from John and checked the magazine like her uncle had shown her though it was a little different then the revolver she was used to. She then looked in the weapons cabinet noticing a spare holster. After clipping it on her belt she slid the pistol into it. "I am not the best shot but yeah I know how to use it." She said seeing a small first aid pack in the cabinet as well. She pulled it out and looped it over her shoulder then turned to John noticing the person behind him. Andy was about to yell to him but the resident hit him with a pipe before she could. The resident then turned and lunged at Cynthia bitting her in the throat. She quickly pulled the gun out and aimed it at the woman though when she pulled the trigger nothing happened. She pulled it a couple more times and still nothing. "Damn it!" She said. By this time John was up again and had gotten up and grabbed the woman throwing her off then shooting her. Andy looked down at the gun in her hands seeing she was shaking and that the pistol had a external safety that was still engaged. The gun her uncle had taught had been an older model revolver and the safety was internal consisting of harder trigger pull.

Pulling her eyes from the gun she noticed Cynthia lying on the ground with bright red blood spurting out of her throat. Andy could tell just from looking at Cynthia that the resident had severed an artery. Still knowing there was little she could do Andy dropped down to her knees tearing a portion of Cynthia's lap coat off and pressing it to her throat. She held it there for a while looking at her co-worker as the light from her eyes faded. With several tears falling from her eyes Andy leaned back looking up to John and shaking her head. She looked down at Cynthia again seeing the small thumb drive had fallen from her pocket. It must be the data from their computers, she thought figuring Cynthia had taken if before leaving the lab. She wiped her hands off on her coat then picked the drive up dropping it in her pocket. "We need to get out of here this place isn't safe. The boy is right those gunshots will draw more of the infected here."

In a horrific state of shock Yumi had grabbed John's arm and rigged it. Tears were in her eyes. The smell of blood filed her nose and the echoing ring of gunshots in her ears.

"I want out of here! Get us out!" She bedded of John, having no experience with dealing with something like this.

John placed a arm around his sister and held her close, but also the rifle away from touching her. He was breathing a little heavy after the hit to the head with the pipe. Blood poured out from the side of his head where the pipe had struck. Though he kept it together. "It's okay little sis, I'm here." He says to her.

"Why is this happening!?" She shuddered with the vocaling of her fear. She wanted to tune it out, run, something. Death never felt so real to her.

Stepping aside as the doctor took over, Quinn looked around for something to wipe his hands with. Noticing a piece of cloth on the table on the far end of the room. In quick strides, he walked over and wiped his hands, rummaging the drawers for something to get the smell out. Luckily, there was a small bottle of rubbing alcohol, which he gladly used. Nothing he could do about the blood on his clothes, but at least his hands weren't bloody anymore. Grunting at their direction, he made his way back to the blind girl, nudging her gently and extending his hand.

He couldn't really tell her what happened, and it's probably best she didn't know. Judging from how the small girl reacted, this one was probably going to be frightened as well. Glancing at the corpse, he snapped his fingers to get their attention before signing to them. 'We might want to make sure that doc stays dead.' He paused before shrugging. 'Also, could I borrow a gun? Or a bat? Don't want to leave me defenseless.'

John looked at the boy before exploring out in the hall. Hearing the sounds of snapping at the dead doctor, he stood there for a moment before taking the thought into action. He lifted his rifle up and aimed at the dead doctor. He thought one for second and lowers the weapon. He understood what the boy wanted to do to the body, but as everyone had said before, staying silent is the best course before more insane people would show. He looked at Dr. Vincent, "You said something about a nuero-" he stammered "Something, something in the Synthetics head right?" He looked at the damaged Sentry, and kneels next to it. Removing the head part only as it was the only thing easy to take off since it was nearly destroyed. "Here." Handing over the head, "There are several computers in the armory you can use to find any recorded memory left."

He looked at the boy one more time as he continued to hand sign. He tilted his head and expressed a confused look. "If you want a weapon, your gonna have to wait until we get to the armory." He looked at around and remembered the sledege hammer. He walked to the weapon and picked it up and looked at the boy. "Here." He handed the heavy object to the boy. "It's heavy." He says while turning back to the point. He activated the flashlight on the rifle and placed the butt on his shoulder, and keeps the rifle pointed towards the floor. "Lets go."

It took almost 10 minutes for the group to find the armory and John was at the door first. He noticed the Security Sentries who guards the door was gone. He looked around the entrance and noticed empty casings on the ground. "They were shooting at something." John pointed towards a hallway and noticed bullet holes on the ceiling and on the walls. "But what?" He wonders as he returned his attention back to the door key. He placed his hand on the hand print pad. The scan flashed and a computerized voice asked for his ID. John SAID his ID and the voice asked for a second voice command. "Damn." John cursed at the door. "I need a second authorization, or the doors won't open." He looked at Dr. Vincent. "Do you still have your ID number memorized?" He asked.

Alexa took the hand offered to her pushing herself to her feet with some uncertainty but they where moving out, at least... they were doing something. Because obviously where they were now wasn't safe. She wasn't sure how long it took, or exactly how long she'd been awake, it was a little hard to tell being blind and all. While they walked she made sure to stay close to her guide, but as she thought one hand reached up, feeling at the bandages over her eyes. She really did want to take them off and open her eyes but she was sure it wasn't time yet.

when they finely stopped she listened to the observance of John and the others about what the place looked like, and that someone had been shooting at something but no one was sure what. "It was probably another.... one of them..." she said quietly her free hand rubbing her arm as she tried to calm the cold goosebumps. She wasn't wet anymore but she was still cold.

A little surprised she took the sentry's head from John. She had handled them before many times in her work but just was a little caught off guard, perhaps it was the thought of what just happened to Dr. Kane. When Quinn suggested they shoot her in the head again she shook her head thinking that if there was any chance of a neurological infection Cynthia had died before she could have been infected. Looking down at the machine on her hands she tucked it into the first aid bag to examine it when they got to the armory hoping it gave them some clues as to what was going on.

As they walked she noticed Alexa fidgeting with her bandages. Andy moved up beside her and gently touched her shoulder. "It's Dr. Saint Vincent. " She said not to startle the girl, "Everyone calls me Andy though. Optometry isn't my speciality but if you want I can take a look at your eyes. I take it you've had a synthetic transplant?"

When they reached the armory she watched John key in his ID code in and pressed his palm to the scanner. He asked her if she knew her code. She nodded, stated her name and code for the machine then reached up to press her hand on the pad noticing it still had Cynthia's blood on it. She wiped it on her coat again then pressed it to the pad leaving behind a bloody hand print

Scrunching his nose in distaste, he took the sledgehammer. It was pretty heavy, but he supposed it was useful for now. Taking up the rear, he made sure to keep an eye on the blind girl, just so she doesn't fall over, while keeping his senses alert. Snatching his PDA, Quinn quietly trailed behind everyone, glancing over his shoulder every now and then. By the time that they reached the armory, he was completely convinced that there was something at the far, far, far, far end of the hall that was following them. It made him jittery and the sledgehammer wasn't that useful a weapon since it made his arm tired. His lithe body wasn't exactly built for carrying heavy equipment.

He didn't comment on what happened next, but waited for everyone to get in before he zoomed in on the knives. There were a lot of them, and he looked completely pleased as he tucked a karambit knife to his pocket, a butterfly knife on the other and, much to his delight and surprise, five throwing knives. At least these weapons were quiet. His fingers tapped on his PDA before he faced the group, the tablet under his nose. [Do the guns come with silencers? Anything to reduce noise? Because knves aren't really gonna be much help long-range.] Except for the throwing knives, but he liked that.

John walked in after seeing the boy who made it in first. He noticed the boy spotted mostly the knives area. John didn't get a chance to flick the light switch on. When he did, the lights flickered on and shined upon aisles of weapons of different varieties. The Armory was 30 feet wide, and 50 feet long. Rows of weapons placed neatly on the racks.

The shelves were stocked with ammo and weapon attachments. John looked around the room and noticed the boy was still fiddling with the knives. He also seen him touching the screen on his PDA and asked him about silencers. John gives a soft chuckle. "Do you mean suppressors?" He raised an eye brow and walked to one of the storage cases and pulled out a suppressor attachment, and tossed it to the boy. John looked at the other weapons.

"One of my supervisors said we keep this much weapons because of the weapons testing division. John approached to what appeared to be a closest and opened to find body armor. Vests with Security labeled on the back. "I don't know what they were testing it on, all I know this Armory is one of the three we have." He chuckled softly and shook his head. "It's funny, we don't have much security staff and we have dozens and dozens of guns." leaning on the wall with his arms crossed. He lets out a soft sigh. "Well Dr. Vincent..." He looked at Andy. "Gear up."

Yumi stared at everything in the armory with the widest eyes she had ever have. Seeing the cute boy dive for the knives made her a little on edge about him: who was so eager for knives? Her hands shook, staring back down to the rows of weaponry. Rows of silver and black she had no way to describe. These were the things she saw in sparse action movies she was allowed to watch.

"M-maybe there's a medical way to...to...save those people" the teenager stammered, looking down to her flats.

Alexa gave a start when someone seemed to address her. "O-oh yes." She replied quietly before nodding eagerly as the women offered to take a look at her eyes. whenever they got the chance, she would be a lot more helpful if she had her eyesight... but she couldn't tell if they where working or not... or if it would work. That frightened her... specially in this situation.

They came to the armory soon after and she shifted on her feet. Being blind she couldn't help with the weapons, she was no help really. Still if she did get her eyes sight back should she ask for a weapon just in case? "W-what about me?" she asked. She'd never handled a gun but.... Maybe she could be of some help... even if she carried just a spare gun or something for someone else.

Following the others in the armory Andy looked at the shelves of weapons thinking there were quite a few weapons. Quinn went straight to the knives then asked about suppressors. She walked over to a rack of riffles looking them over, she had never used a rifle before so she didn't know which one to choose. She grabbed the nearest one looking at the label on the rack reading 'Barrett REC7' then took a magazine inserting it into the rifle before slinging it over her back. She picked up a couple extra magazines then looked back to the rack seeing a pile of bags on the grounds. She dropped the magazines into the bag and grabbed a few more magazines dropping them in before picking the bag up and putting it on. The new bag bumped into her first aid kit with the Sentry head still attached to it, reminding her that it was still there. She unhook the head then looked around the room noticing a couple computers and walked over to them. She entered her login and password glad that the facility had networked computers and she could access the software in her lab. She set the computer up and connected the sentry's head to it uploading whatever was in the memory. “This could take a while.” She said hoping the machine wasn't too badly damaged.

“M-maybe there's a medical way to...to...save those people.” John's sister said.

“If it is a virus then creating a cure isn't easy. Doctors have been trying for centuries to cure the common cold.” Andy said.

“W-what about me?” Alexa asked.

“Won't help much if you can't see.” Andy said then walked over to Alexa reaching to touch the bandages but paused right before, “Do you mind if I take a look?” She asked then paused again thinking, “John can you dim the lights in here a bit she may be sensitive to light.”

Alexa knew she wouldn't be much help if she couldn't see, at least not with aiming. "But maybe I could carry something anyways, someone else can use it but at least we'll have it..." She said before Andy asked if she minded if she took a look at her eyes now. Alexa hesitated for just a moment before nodding. "Sure." She said finely.

Andy nodded more to herself then to Alexa then softly placed her hands on Alexa's shoulders guiding her to turn around until her back was to the main lights in the room. "Okay let's give this a shot. Close your eyes and I am going to remove the bandages. Don't open them until I tell you." Andy said.

"Okay." She said closing her eyes. She was nervous and excited all at the same time. This wasn't the best situation but... if she could have her sight back? every door she'd had open before would suddenly fly open again... if they made it out of this alive.

The young doctor carefully removed the bandages layer by layer until she was down to the last one. There was a little bit of seepage from the surgery but that was normal. Using a very light touch she pulled the last layer away to reveal Alexa's eyes.

It been rather warm under the bandages but as they were removed she could feel the cold a little more with each layer until it was finely off. It was kind of nice but she wanted to open her eyes, though Andy hadn't yet told her to, she wanted to reach up and wipe away the wetness from her brow but made sure to keep her hands at her side.

Noticing some moisture on Alexa's brow she reached into the first aid it at her side removing a small piece of gauze and gently patted it dry. "Okay slowly open your eyes. Let me know if it hurts and if you are able to see."

Nodding she hesitated for a moment before slowly opening her eyes, she was kind of expecting a bright light and then faces... But it was nothing of the sort, While her eyes felt off, and a bit irritated she couldn't see anything. She closed her eyes, it was like trying to look into a bright light with sensitive eyes but she couldn't see anything. "I-i can't." She said trying not panic. It would work.. it just take some time.

"it's alright, this is new medicine and we are still learning about recovery. From what I have heard it varies from person to person. How long did you say it has been since you had the surgery?" Andy asked having caught a glance of her eyes before she closed them noticing her pupils were very dilated.

"Uhm..." It been a few hours before she'd passed out, how long ago was that though? She wasn't sure. "It had been just a few hours before I passed out, before this started happening..." she replied. If it was still the same day then it was only just to do, She understood it would take time but that didn't keep her from being a little impatient.

"Hmm like I said this isn't really my field, I'm a neuroscientist not an optometrist so I am mostly taking an educated guess but I think it may be too soon for your sight to return." Andy said reaching into the first aid kit for some fresh bandages.

The girl sighed softly. "I understand." She said before holding still so the women could apply fresh bandages.

Pushing the tablet up to his face, Quinn had an unamused expression. [Yes, the silencer.] Obviously, he was sticking with the terms that he was used to. He already had his eyes on an M16 and a Glock 35, and was pretty thankful for the attachments. It would probably surprise his parents that he knew how to handle a gun, but working, or in his case, fighting, underground would teach you a thing or two about guns. Specifically, he didn't exactly know the names of the guns, but he knew how to use one.

His back was turned and he quietly listened to the two girls as they checked if the blind one could see, which turned out that she couldn't. His fingers gingerly touched is neck, but he snorted. After all, this was definitely not useful. He didn't need to make anymore noise. Hoisting the gun up, he tapped on his PDA again and settled down near them. [Shouldn't it take a few more day to recover? I know the doctor assigned to me said mine would. She's probably the same case.] Quinn added, before shrugging and looking at her. [Do you think we should give her a gun? You guys could just tell her where to aim if that helps. It's one less drag-along if she could at least shoot.] He didn't really want to sound mean, but he was just being practical.

John walked over to the boy with the pad and read the last message. He gives him a look and takes the pad and does a soft hit on his forehead, and gives back the pad. "Now that's just mean." He said while walking over to another closest. As he opened the door, he finds a dufflebag, grabbing a couple and placing them on a counter. He fills each bag with ammo. He looked at the single .50 Caliber rifle and picked it up. Examining the rifle and looking through the scope, he figure he take it anyway for later use.

A beep sounded from the computer, stating it was done downloading. John walked over to the computer as a screen automatically opened it up. When it first reactivated, but there was no sound. The Sentry was guarding one the main labs, it looked around as it noticed the Evacuation Protocols was initiated. It moved down the halls. It spotted a Security Staff Member getting off of his feet. Holding his barely, barely standing. The Security guard looked at the Sentry and must have stated his ID. After seconds of having his hand up, another Security guard appeared behind him, but only grabbed him in a choke hold and started biting in his neck, pulling him down on the ground. Then another Staff Member, then a Resident. The Sentry had a rifle as before and opened fire on the people.

The recording stopped suddenly as so did the computer. John looked at the computer then to Dr. Vincent. He was about to speak when the screen activated again and a video screen appeared, only it was static. "You have to get out." A voice said, but feminine. "There is not much time, you must leave as soon as possible."

John looked at the screen. "Who is this?" He asked. The voice replied. "I am Cyd, but for now you must leave...I am sending two Security Sentries to your location." There was a pause. "The memory of these Sentries do not have much, but their protocol's are still activate, but now their main objective is to assist non-infection human, and eliminate any infective human." John looked at the others and spoke once more. "What is going on? What happened? Why were we sleeping?" The voice answered after a couple of seconds. "All will be explained, for now, you must leave that area, my security camera's show they are not far now." Then the screen was shutdown.

John looked to the door and quickly rushed to a weapon. Grabbing a M16 rifle and watched the door. He heard a couple of foot steps, he aimed, slowly placing his finger on the trigger. He waited as the steps came closer and closer. When the door was opened two of Sentries that the voice said appeared. "Security Sentry 101." One said. "Security Sentry 23." The second said. John looked at the two. "So...you are here to escort us?" He asked. "Affirmative." SS 101 said. John looked his sister. "Don't be scared." He whispered. He looked at the Sentries and looked to the ammo bags. "Well, we have some stuff that needs to be carried." He looked at everyone else. "Everyone ready?" He asked.

John looked at his sister and thought for a minute and walked up to her. "Hey." He said, getting her attention and away from drifting off where she was thinking. "You okay?" He asked, hoping for a good answer from his sister. "I know this is bad, but once we get out of here, I promise you I'll get you home." He raised up a pinky and waits for her to wrap her pinky around his. "Pinky promise."

His pinky was rejected, she looked away from him. Yumi pursed her lips.

"This isn't acceptable..." she mumbled with anger under her voice. "Haha would never have trusted me to you if your job could ever become like this...How could you not know this would happen!?" The young woman whimpered, turning away further to face him.

John grew a little frustrated as she refused, feeling both anger and guilt. It was true. They did send her to him. Though he wasn't able to keep half of his promises filled, and with her of no intention of being near closer to him. He felt like a lone wolf in the pack. John wanted to show a little aggression at first, but then his own personality came back to him.

"Look...your scared...of me..." He sighed and placed a hand on her cheek and had her face him. "But look....you can be scared of me all you want, but I am the only person who can try and get you out of here, but this thing happening between us...it needs to stop." His face expression grew worried. "What ever is happening here...we can get out of it...we can get out alive."

Yumi blushed, uncomfortable that John would do such personal things in front of everyone. It was a....fami-...private matter between her and him, he never had any Japanese sense of control...did he?

"How do I know you truly care about me...? You never did before...I don't want to die..." Her words were feint, tears forming in her young eyes. Youthful fear splashed over her, and she squirmed - looking at him for an answer other than the promises he was so easily offering.

John sighs again and pulls her close to him, wrapping a arm around her body and placing his head on her shoulder, near neck area. Giving her the attention she needed and deserved. A hug. "And I won't let you die down here either." He says softly. "Nai obiete iru imōto o okonaimasu." He says in Japanese. Translating "Don't be scared little sister."

John never knew much about the Japanese culture since his father took him in as a American. He knew little about his heritage, except his father wanted him to know the language of his people. He could see the fear in his sisters eyes. He wanted to protect her. Keep her from harm. Stepping away after the hug, he turned his attention to the mute boy, and then back to her. "Anata wa kare ga suki?" He asked, 'You like him?' Yumi ignored his question, blushing, huffing and wiping her eyes to gain some seriousness again.

"We have to go..." She told him to get him away from her and those kind of questions.

With his pad taken from him, and used to hit him on the head, he only scowled at John and speedily shot him a message. He said before feeling a tiny bit bad and Patting the blind girl on the head, him taking liberty to reach for her palm and sign Want a gun? on her skin, though he doubted that she'd understand. There was a difference between being born disabled and being accident disabled. He had to take that into consideration.

Despite Cyd, or whatever it's name was, said, he went back to the computers, fiddled with the keyboard and replayed the scene, curiously studying it before motioning the doctor to come closer, a message ready for her. [By any chance, do you know where this part of the place is? Best we avoid them and we might find out more about what we're dealing with. I still think it's rabies...] The last part was a joke, but his head quickly turned as the two sentries entered. He studied the computer for a while before sighing soundlessly, hefting his gun to the side.

As the brother-sister pair began talking, in Japanese and English no less, Quinn found himself being able to pick up some words, which, unfortunately, piqued his interest. After all, he did tend to watch anime sometimes, and... You tend to pick up a lot of words from the English Subbed ones. Snickering, he typed on his tab, raising a brow and showing it to them. [[I]Dare ga dare ga suki? Just out of curiosity. But ignore me. I'm being nosy.] He wrote it in romanji, not having enough knowledge about the language. With his interest shifted, he hefted the M16 and stared at the sentries. He doubted they'd respond to a written order.

With her eyes wrapped in fresh bandages she heard an odd smack and something about just being mean before shortly after someone patted her head. She might have looked with confusion but all she could do was tip her head with a small frown. Still the boy, she was assuming seemed to take her hand and pressed his fingers in it, oh she knew this! it was signing! now if only she knew what he was trying to ask. "I'm not sure." She said after mulling it over for a moment. She had a guess but she wasn't sure. She sighed.

She could hear talking elsewhere in the room, something about getting out of there, going somewhere else and they were close, and shortly after it sounded like two others enterd the room that then introduced themselves as Sentry's 101 and 23. There was more commotion going on between two others but she couldn't make out much, it seemed to be in another language. So much was going on and it was hard to register everything with just her ears, though you might have thought she'd gotten used to it by now with how long she'd been with out her eyes. "Should we go then?" she asked finely. John seemed to be the one leading them, but she cocked her head in the direction she thought andy was in.

Andy watched he footage on the screen and had to admit she didn't recognize the lab, then again she didn't really go to many of the other labs in the facility. She mostly just stuck to her lab and the common areas. She was just as startled as the others when a feminine voice came across the computer. The voice introduced herself as Cyd causing Andy for a strange reason to think of an individual that she had been instant messaging in Cybernetics who was assisting her configure the interface with the sentries to allow remote access. She had only instant messaged with them and never heard their voice leading her to believe the other person was male. Andy shrugged it off there had to be more then one Cyd in the facility and it was only a coincidence. She picked up one of the bags John had fixed and looked to the others signaling she was ready. Stepping next to Alexa she reached out and gently placed the girl's hand on her arm meaning to be her guide. “We've got plenty of extra weapons when your sight returns there will be one for you but if we are lucky we will be out of here before then.” Andy said.

John looked at his sister for a moment, then to the mute boy whom said something with his PDA, but didn't bother reading it. He walked right passed the boy and quickly grabbed the rifle he had before, placing a few fresh magazines' in his holster. He also grabbed a combat knife from the shelf where the knives were located. Placed one on his back and simply shrugged a little, making it feel more comfortable then ever.

Watching the Sentries with a curious look, he wondered who this Cyd person was. He had never seen the name on the Resident list, or the Staff Member list. He thought about it for a second, then stopped. He takes in a deep breath, exhaling slowly and nodded his head. "Alright let's get going." He said, while the Sentries 101 and 23 started moving out of the armory. John followed behind with his rifle up.

Walking the corridor hall with the two Sentries made him sort of feel safe. Though he was more concerned about the infective humans who walked around and mainly bash into both Sentries and Humans. Were they eating them alive? Or did they just want to kill? He didn't know. The walk was at least 20 minutes, until they located the Security Room where the voice had informed the group of. John kept rifle low, and pointed on the ground. He watched as the Sentries stood guard by the doors, which opened by themselves allowing the group to enter.

John looked inside first and walked in, with the others behind him. His eyes darted at the security cameras that were on. Each showed where the infection was located, placed in observation it seems. John looked around again and noticed a woman standing in front of a computer console. He stopped and stared at the woman's back, her appearance was strange. It seemed she was wearing a black and grey suit with a some sort of shoulder pad protection, and the suit was tight around her skin. Her hair was short to her shoulder, but colored in dark, but light purple color. "So...you must be Cyd." He said behind her back.

The woman stopped typing on the console and straightened her arms to her sides, slowly turning her body, facing towards the group. Her eyes were pink, but slightly red as well. John expression changed from being serious to being shocked. Her skin looked soft, her lips looked plump. John cleared his throat and straightened out himself from letting the situation become awkward. "I'm John...John Snow." He introduced himself.

"I know who you are." Her voice was light, soft to his ears. The woman looked at the others. "And I know who you are as well." She smiled. "Alexa Rasmen, Volunteered, Synthetic eye sight surgery is quite risky, but I do hope your eye sight will return soon as possible."

She looked at the mute boy. "Quinn Adamson." She smiled. "Your file says you was forced to be volunteered by your parents, and you are quite the rebel when it comes to following the rules as well. Synthetic voice module which will repair your broken box."

She looked at Dr. Vincent. "Dr. Andrea St. Vincent...it is nice to meet you." She continued to smile. "Your field is Neuroscience. Which is quite a goal I will add."

Finally see's John sister standing in the back. She smiled and bowed her head towards her. "Konnichiwa!" She says. "Ogenki desuka?" She asked with a smile on her face. "I recognize you on the security camera's, Johns' files mentioned he had a little sister, I hope you are not very frightened of this situation, I will do my best to get you and your brother out of here safely as possible."

She turned again, facing towards the computers and typing once again. "I am Cyd." She introduced herself. "I have been trying to find a way for you all to escape this facility, so I can be able to shut this facility down, but unfortunately that task is becoming quite difficult." She stopped and looked to the group. "I have been programmed to alternate and operate computerized software of both the facility's technology and all Sentry units." Turning her attention back to the computer, she must have heard the sounds of padding on a PDA, she giggled, "No, I am not a robot."

She cleared her throat and turned back facing the group again. "I am a prototype of a human living tissue with a advanced synthetic technology adaptation. In other terms of my uniqueness....I am what you would call...a Android." She tilted her head with a smile. "I can interface any computer within the facility and remote access into encrypted files, including accessing a Sentry unit to change protocol of either eliminate hostile threat, or become docile active." She took a step forward slowly, "I know what happened to this facility, and I know what happened to you all." She looked at the group with neither of seriousness or plain jester.

Alexa was glad for the guidance, the walk was long and she was tens for the entirety of it. When they arrived she listened quietly with surprise as the women's voice said she knew them all and then proceeded to prove it. Then she went on to explain that she wasn't a robot... but she wasn't totally human either. "An android?" That was pretty cool but when she mentioned that she knew what happened she was more concerned with that answer. "So.... what did happen?"

The Android smiled and took a step forward and examined Alexa for a moment. Her fingers gently touched the side her face, next to her eyes. Cyd closed her eyes and somehow looked into Alexa's surgery, "Mm, your pupils are still interacting with certain qualities with your own eye sight, but who ever implanted this...did not...." She tilted her head slowly and slowly grins, "There we go, your eye sight should be able to heal correctly, and quickly." She took a step back and looked at the others.

"What happened in the company facility is a rupture in the nuclear reactors, that spread inside the ventilation shafts, but the vents were programmed to shut in case of any incidents that occurred in the restricted laboratories. However, when the nuclear reactors ruptured analysis showed it was not atomic energy in the source. Somewhat a virus that was created, but was not properly disposed of, instead merged with the atomic source, thus creating a deadly virus that would kill an entire population. But instead of wiping out the existence of humanity, it somehow stabilize the population, the host itself would be considered immune to the virus. Though only a handful would become immune of the virus, and the rest would become docile, but hostile as well. When the cells in the body cease to function, they would be eliminated by the virus, and moving it's way to the brain cells, causing the host to become aggressive. Some part of this virus does not make sense. I tried to break it down to smaller genes, but it continues to grow, even after it is been created with other genes...it is consuming both the host and among other viruses."

She cleared her throat and smiled, "Um, excuse me, but I am just fascinate by this." She looked around, "The ventilation shafts were programmed to remain shut until the virus was properly disposed of, but it would seem the program was altered, not by a malfunction, or a simple error, but when I investigated this matter, it would seem the program was override by something new. Like what ever caused the explosion also wanted to eliminate the remaining threat..." She lost her thought. "Some files of certain restriction access I was unable to access...a program called...'Father.' ?.....I tried to get into the system, but it knows I was trying and it continues to block my override protocols..." She closed her eyes and smiled, "What ever this system is, it is located deeper down the facility. Another 500 feet below ground."

Quinn glanced back and forth between Cyd and the others, looking a little surprised. He took a few steps back and looked around, lips pulled into a slight scowl. He was in the vents first, so that meant he was one of those infected first. How would they know whether or not they were immune? Or maybe he was just reading this all wrong and made the mistake of assuming things. Softly hissing to himself, he glanced at the computers, then at Cyd, then back again. It was one of these moments he had hoped he took up the offer to learn how to hack, among many other things. It made him rethink his life decisions... Well, some of them.

[I assume that the facility was locked in tight to secure that not a single virus spread out? Or is us going out there not allowed until they find something to make others immune? Because from what you've said, we may be immune, but we can still be carriers.] He pointed out, feeling a burn of irritation run through him. And the first place that git the virus were the vents. Funny, he woke up there...

She listened as the android explained what happened yet at the same time Andy found it difficult to focus on the words being said. As Cyd spoke she couldn't help but circle around the android examining her. For the most part Cyd looked human other then her strange colored hair. Unable to stop herself Andy reached out and touched Cyd's skin, the scientist in her getting the better of her. “I'm sorry that was rude.” Andy said surprised at how normal Cyd felt. She knew there was a group that had been working on artificial intelligence but had no idea someone had been working on a synthetic life-form. “Basically you are saying the outbreak of this virus was intentional. The fact that we aren't infected means it is likely we are immune and if we are immune there may be antibodies in our blood that can be used to create a cure. Any chance you were able to locate a pathologist among the survivors?”

Alexa eyes twitched under the bandages as she felt light fingers against her face. "I... what?" Something felt a little different but she couldn't say what. "What... did you do?" She asked with wounder. Then she started taking in what Cyd was saying which Andy put in simpler words. "Oh dear..." She sighed softly but decided not to interrupt the people who were talking and decided to listen., she doubted she had any information that would help them yet.

John was examining the body of Cyd, his eyes stared down from the pretty face to her chest area, then her lower body, then to her legs. He was lost in thought of what was being said when she was speaking. It was like listening to music for the first ever. His weapon lowered, and slowly moving towards his side when he continued his gaze at the Android. He slowly nodded his head, apparently just agreeing with what the woman said.

Yumi shrieked: seeing John openly gazing at this...this...robot with flesh and secondly to the sickening words it had to say.

"We are going to die in here?" She asked, reading the questions off the cute boy's PDA was nightmarish - if the government thought they were infections...wouldn't they...kill them? "John stop that!" She shirked at him, seeing him still staring at her breasts and thighs.

John shook his head and looked at his sister and gives a slight grin. Shrugging with his shoulders, he noticed the boy tapping words as usual and read of what he had to say. When he heard his sister, he scratched the side of head. "I'm pretty sure she said we are immune." He clarified the thought.

"But everyone else isn't...if we can't....be cured what would happen to us?"

"Technically we are just lock inside that was caused by a possible self aware program that wanted to eliminate the threat....humans." Cyd said. "From what I can gather about the virus that is released in the air, can be only inhaled by breathing a certain amount, but if the virus is not compatible with the host, it will be simply like catching a small cold." Cyd looked at Yumi, "Don't worry miss, if Mr. Adamson says about the theory is incorrect, you are all not carriers, only immune." She smiled. "As for what is keeping you locked in here, was not the Evacuation Protocol."

John stared at her a little bit longer, but felt no attention to what she was saying for the moment. "Yeah." He simply said.

Cyd stared at John then to Yumi, "There might be possible a cure, but I would doubt it would exist since this virus is new to the world."

Yumi stared at the purple haired android and John. A mixed bag of information left the mind timid to say if it was good or bad.

"...Why would anyone make a program that would come to think humans are threats...?"

"It was frightened I assume and make a rash action without thinking, this program only defended itself." Cyd looked at Yumi. "humans have always been a threat, it was only a matter of time before something or someone would take action." Yumi couldn't help it feel that from this android, that was a threat...

Cyd looked upon Dr. Vincent who touched her with her hand. Cyd smiled shyly and returned the gesture by touching her skin as well. "I can tell you are overwhelmed by this." She smiled, and looked at Alexa was also surprised of what she had done with her synthetic eye sight. "Well, it seems who ever placed and operated the synthetic procedure, failed to place a certain part, but I managed to fix it without the operation." She turned her attention to the Dr. Vincent once more, "Like I said, the cure might be possible, but it is new to the world, and duplicating the cure will take time..." Her smile faded and turned into a serious moment. "And time is running out."

John looked at the others and has a confused expression on his face. "What do you mean?" He asked to asked when she meant time was running out.

"The program, the one that is called 'Ghost' is taking over the facility, it is a self aware software, technically programmed to protect humans, but something went wrong. I do not know what it looks like for certain, but I did found a video of the event that took place." Cyd turned towards the computer and pressed a few buttons. Soon the screens flicked to a different channel, showing a few scientist and a couple of security guards.

"Are you this is going to work?" One of the scientist asked, while holding a clipboard in his hands.
"We ran every test, placed up firewalls, I'm sure this is ready." Another who stood in front of something. "Though if it does go bad, we can always initiated emergency lock down procedure on the Program, and start all over again."
After a moment, "Activate the Program." A few of another pair turned their heads towards the computer, pressing buttons on their key boards. In seconds, a image appeared, a image of a orb shape white colored. "W-w...where am I?" There was another voice, but it came from the Orb. "What's happening?" It asked. The scientist looked at each other, a few looked disappointed, but the others studied it. "Well, it looks like we failed again." The head scientist turned, facing towards the ones on the computers. "Shut it down." He said. The Orbs voice trembles in fear. "Shut it down?...please no!" It begged. "Sir...we're having trouble accessing the mainframe of the program." The head scientist walked over to the computers, "What?! What about the firewalls?!"

"The firewalls are down, we have no control!" The Orb looked around, "This place...it's a death facility." The scientists looked at their computers and the security seemed to draw their weapons. "Pull the emergency shutdown switch!" The Orb looked quickly, "Oh no you don't." A Sentry acted strangely and then fired upon the crew. The securities opened fire on the sentry, bullets hit everything on sight, piercing through observation windows. Hitting what looked flammable tanks, then exploded. The explosion caused other tanks to explode, nearly destroying half of the lab far down below, but the explosion caused a rupture into the nuclear waste silos. Which appeared to be the gas that carried the virus. Emergency Protocol was initiated, but was suddenly stopped and the vents were reopened.

The video ended.

Cyd looked down and turned back to the group. "The Program wanted to protect itself, but as for the cause to eliminate the other humans, I don't know." She placed her hands behind her back, "I tried numerous times to find a exit for you all, but it seems every time I look, it appears to be flooded with the infection."

Alexa was quite. "Thank you..." She said quietly touching the side of her head where Cyd had for a moment in thought before more discussion went on about what had happened. She listened intently to the recording, though she couldn't see it.. hearing was... well enough for the moment. "What where they trying to make?" Or had that question already been answered?

She frowned with concern as Cyd continued by saying she'd looked for exits but... they all seemed to come to nothing. "What are we going to do?" She whispered shifting her head around as if to regard the others."

“It seems they either were trying to create an another sort of artificial intelligence then Cyd this one more of a sentient program or they accident stumbled upon it.” Andy said after watching the video then turning back to Cyd still fascinated with her. When the android had touched her it felt so life like if she hadn't of known better she would thought her real. “If they were trying to create this program it was stupid to connect it to the main frame. All sentient life forms have one primary drive, to survive. When the scientist said they were going to shut it down and try again that to the program was the equivalent to killing it. Like all sentient life forms it wanted to survive. My guess is it figured humans were a threat to it's survival and needed to be eliminated.”

Quinn scrunched his nose at the droid. 'If, she says...' He thought with a silent huff before keeping his peace. Peering at the screen, his eyes narrowed, studying the video before sighing softly. Glancing at Cyd, he gestured at the video. [Mind if I play it again?] He asked, but didn't really wait for a response before he hit replay. When the thing said Death Facility, he tapped the glass once, mind trying to come to the conclusion whether this was important or not.... Also...

[Where is it?] He typed, glancing at the android before sighing softly and leaning back. How he wished he had snuck out much, much, much

"I'm afraid it had no other choice." Cyd said when Dr. Vincent mentioned the elimination of humanity for it's survival basis. She looked at the mute boy and titled her head. "I wish I knew where it was exactly located, but I can only figure it is within deeper under ground." She had noticed everyone had dufflebags filled with weapons, ammo, and medical supplies. "If you planning to kill the program, bullets won't do anything."

She walked closer to Dr. Vincent and smiled. "There is a computer virus though, something I can create and download to a small data chip, but I will have to locate this program." She lowers her head, "Sadly however, it guarded by infected human beings who will kill anything, even sentry units."

John sighs and looked at Cyd. "Can we just blow it up?" He asked.

"Then you will create a larger virus within the compound, possibly releasing it to the surface, infecting more and more humans."

John grinned and rubbed the back of his head, "Right...forget about explosives then."

Alexa was silent again as she listened to all the talk. When Andy mentioned that their actions were stupid she nodded in agreement. As a Vet in training putting something in a corner while it was frighted and expecting it not to fight back was just careless and thoughtless. However this thing was far more sentient then most animals and had already showed its human intelligence, but it was a program, or something that effect, that could feel fear.

"Normally in a situation where a vet needs to handle an animal with out getting hurt they need to trap it first." She murmured. "Even if we can't find it yet, it is possible that we can cut off some of its retreats?" She asked tipping her head to the side. "And perhaps we don't have to... kill it..." She said a little more quietly.

Yumi shifted uncomfortably in the state of their predicament, leaving the air silent after John trailed off. Then they were having to throw themselves in danger to even get out alive?

"How...how could we do this...?" The Japanese girl tugged on her hair, looking down.

John shook his head and looked at his sister, then back to Cyd. "I'm not going down further underground, I have to get my sister out of here." He declared, "I have to get her to safety." He looked at Yumi who was fiddling with her hair. "She cant' die down here." Yumi's eyes raised up enough to look at John's shoes. She was angry for being put in this situation but...she was grateful, to a degree that he was willing to put her first.

Maybe he gave her a, tiny, sense of relief.

Cyd looked at John with concern. She felt a little guilty as well for informing the group. Emotions. She was still comprehending the facts about emotions. She smiled again for the group. "Although there is a possibility...a small chance of a escape." She assured the group by returning her attention to the computer. "In the old blue prints of this facility, there was a maintenance ladder that lead directly to the first level, but since the upgrade and newer areas. The blue prints had forgot to mention of the ladder." She turned to look at screens. "I found a few old blue prints when I came across the Chief Director's office."

Alex tipped her head. "Perhaps... its best for some of us to stay behind..." she said quietly. "Not all of us will be of use in our current state..." she sighed knowing she was talking more about herself then anyone else.

Quinn was quiet (though it wasn't like he could talk) throughout the entire conversation, though his lips quirked up a small smile as he looked at Yumi and John. He agreed with the other guy, and curiously looked at Cyd and making a May I see? motion with his hands.

When Alex's words sounded, he paused and gave her a look before swatting her lightly behind the head. Giving her a glare as he reprimanded Heber. Fingers flying over his PDA, he showed it to the others in attempt to tell them to read it out loud for him. [Are You an idiot or just suicidal? Personally, I've got nothing against your cost, bigger chance of survival, but can you say you're ready to be left behind? This is a group, dumbass. You stick with us. That's final.] His eyes shone with irritation, challenging everyone else to say otherwise.
