Personality: Throughout her whole life, Kiri had always been shy and insecure. Maybe perhaps her mother was a model forced out of the industry from fictional scandals and false tabloids, and always pushed her worries onto Kiri. However, when she really sets her mind on something she has a fierce, unwavering determination and a heart full of hope. That being said, she is rather naive as well and tries to think optimistically whenever she can. The only time she shines is in front of the camera, but off her sparking stage, Kiri’s clumsy, cries often and unintentionally causes problems wherever she goes.

Bio: One of the earliest memories she had of her mother was when she was a mere toddler - perhaps three or four years old. Her mother was a mess at the time - her makeup was a mess, and her hair was a tumble of knots that draped over her face. She remembered the tight grip of her hands and the sharp nails that dug into her forearm. Despite her cries, her mother would not let go, and ignored her tears as she spoke. She kneeled in front of little Kiri, frantically warning her never, ever to become like mommy, and dreadfully listed the horrors of the modeling world.

It seemed like her mother never really left her room much after that - bedridden with depression among her sea of tissues and broken ceramic and glass. Kiri still lived under the same roof with her father and grandmother, but a few years down the road, her father left and placed Kiri in her grandmother’s care. Kiri was never told the exact reason of why her father fled, but she could guess that it had something to do with her mother’s hysterical fits in the night that were infamous for causing headaches and mental stress to those around her.

When Kiri was 13, she was scouted by a modeling agency, much to her surprise. At first, she refused, remembering her mother’s constant warnings about not becoming a model, but the agency persisted and she ended up going home with their business card to think about the offer some more. She knew the career was something that ruined her family, but at the same time, she was always curious about the glittering, glamorous world of modeling. Her best friend and grandmother supported her and even urged her to give it try. That was all the reason she needed. She called the agency the next day and accepted the job.

The next three years for Kiri were busy, and she slowly gained publicity and fame day by day. She realized her love for modeling, but always kept in mind never to walk down the same path as her mother despite all her insecurities. She continued to climb up the fashion ladder, and soon, even her mother who stayed away from the world, safe in her cocoon, found out about her career.

She simply snapped. Kiri came come to find most of the furniture in the house smashed and damaged, with ripped photographs of Kiri from magazines sprawled across the floor. Her mother glared at her with overwhelming anger and rage that almost brought Kiri to tears. Ignoring the shards of glass under her bare feet, her mother dashed towards Kiri upon noticing her return. ‘Why, why, why’ - the word almost lost meaning with her constant chanting of it. A mixture of mascara and tears rolled down Kiri’s cheeks as she apologized non-stop. She tried to explain but she could barely overpower the rage-filled, hoarse voice of her mother, or escape the death grip she had on her shoulders.

“Fine! I see how it is. If you aren’t going to listen to your mother anyway I guess you don’t need one!” Before Kiri could react, her mother took a box-cutter and stabbed her wrists without a slither of hesitation. She laughed, looking at Kiri who stood frozen at the front door, watching as her own mother killed herself. She continued to stab her wrists some more, and then her other wrist, until she collapsed on the floor. Blood stained the picture of Kiri that her mother was lying on top of, and that was the last thing she saw until she fainted.

When Kiri awoke in the hospital, she seemed to have lost all memory of the event. Instead, a fabricated memory replaced the one that would otherwise damage her mental state. According to her memory, as she just returned home, the chandelier near the entrance fell and crushed her mother, who held a picture of Kiri in her hands. Not a picture of the model Kiri, but one of the only photographs she took as a child with her mother, smiling. Even her mother was a terrible mother, and though her death was merely an accident in her head, Kiri wanted her back. Her real mother, the one who was smiling in the picture. And that was when Jonah appeared before her, offering her a wish. Amidst her flood of sorrowful, painful emotions, she didn’t care whatever she had to do.

Specific wish: “So you can grant miracles? Resurrect my mother and replace her pain with a smile!”

Personality
Rozaria is truly mischievous; devious, sly, cunning, in a graceful sort of way. Because of her past(explained below in the bio), she knows etiquette and grace, raised to be a refined lady. One problem; Rozaria didn't want it, even though by now, it's pretty much came out naturally. She was, and is rebellious, refusing to do anything anyone told her, "Be good! On your best behaviour! Don't do anything naughty!" And so, she did the opposite. Almost everyday, she'd come home with bumps scrapes and bruises since she would beat up anyone who annoyed her. Now, she rarely shows up looking deformed and flawed anymore; she got good at fighting.

Bio
Rozaria was the first-born of a wealthy family, the owner of a very successful trading company and an accountant who used to be a model. Being the first born, she had heavy responsibilities and duties placed on her; she was to become the heir to the business. From the moment she could walk and talk, her parents hired tutors to teach her things, from academics to art, to etiquette. So her childhood was much different from a regular child's, she stayed inside the house for lessons, while other kids were kicking a ball or something outside.

After awhile, when her sister was born, Rozaria thought that it would be the perfect chance to rebel, and place the responsibilities on her sister. And it worked. Her parents gave her up after a few years, and started teaching Elizabeth. They didn't pay much attention to Rozaria at all, leaving her an allowance, a few servants to serve her. And so, she did whatever she liked. Skipped school, threw away 'curfew', and got herself a title in the darker parts of town.

As time built up even more, her parents decided to finally do something about it, seeing that releasing the title of heir from her just made her happier. They shipped her off to boarding school and made sure she stayed. But the fact of the school being split in two just made Rozaria interested, but she really did hate the idea of stupid uniforms and boarding schools.

Age: Apparent age is 19. Scarlett stays forever young with a very long life; practically immortal but can have momentary deaths or deep slumbers sometimes as she does not have a soul like most demons. Her actual age is 400+.

Appearance Description: Scarlett is tall, standing at exactly 6 feet. She's slim with noticeable curves, since being a demon - and a pure one for that, gives you the privilege of a seducing beauty. She has a even, pale, milky complexion free of any blemishes, and her plump, frosty-pink lips surround razor-sharp teeth. Her large red eyes are devious and cunning, with a glint of hatred swirling about. Her outfits usually consist of dark-hue, sophisticated gowns and stiletto shoes, with a thin, silk wrap. Time to time, Scarlett slips on pairs of heeled, black boots that make moving a lot easier compared to stilettos, along with a camisole and very short shorts.

Abilities:

Flight- Scarlett is a demon from hell. While angels have white wings, the demon has black. Scarlett can release her wings on will.

Shadow- Scarlett can bend and shape shadows to her will(but they are only limited to be whips/ropes/sharp shards) as well as travelling through them by turning into shadow herself. Travelling is easy, bending the shadow is more difficult, and takes more energy.

Soul Steal- Being a demon, it is quite easy to take a soul from anyone, as it is almost like a source of food. It is much easier on humans than other species. This technique requires the user to be at a distance away at a maximum of 2 feet. Any distance further will not work. Taking half the soul is also possible too, or any other amount which won't kill. Taking a soul of a magical or supernatural person has a 10% chance of also taking in some of their powers temporarily and it comes in a weaker form.

Blood Dance- As well as shadows, Scarlett can manipulate blood and transform it to sharp weapons and needles or whips and etc. The quantity and quality depends on whose blood it is and how much they have. To use this ability blood must be spilled in any way or there must be a cut or wound where the blood can get through.

Necromancer- Can summon and control any quantity human souls from Hell, as it is her home town and she is of high authority there.

Detector- One of Scarlett's best abilities. She can sense any hidden presence or invisible person pretty well for a distance of a 10 mile radius. This ability is usually always working, even when Scarlett is sleeping.

Nightmare- Basically inflicts a hallucination on the foe making them see and feel their most darkest fears with a touch anywhere on or near the head.

Black blood- Pure dark mass, one of Scarlett's abilities of dark arts. The mass can change to golems that take on a human form, and controlled by Scarlett. However, being made into a golem is not what 'black blood' is limited to do. The mass can change to any form and is highly toxic. If enough of this dark mass is plagued into a victim, Scarlett can very much control that person physically and half of him/her mentally. However, the more Scarlett uses it, the less she is able to step out into the sun without feeling pain. It makes her weak against attacks made from light, unless her dark arts are more powerful and can envelop the light.

Basic magic- Moving things without touch, spacial composition(making thinks appear with magic, such as a pencil, box, pen, etc.), teleportation, and magic enhancements(usually used on Scarlett's golems).

Enhanced Attributes- Scarlett, like most of the Nobility, has enhanced speed and strength; far greater than that of a humans by at least ten fold. She can control her speed and strength so she won't crush someone to death is she hugs them.

Skills: Extremely skilled, Master in the art of silent killing. She had many, many years to complete and further lengthen her skills. As of now, Scarlett can blend with the night have no presence at all. This is one of the skills that Scarlett is known for, even a detector of the highest ability can't sense her. She is also a master in most physical combat methods, being flexible and strong, and trained at a very young age. Scarlett is also a master of dark arts(some examples being Necromancer and Nightmare Hallucination), being trained by the Devil himself and is probably closest to his level than anyone else.

Personality: Scarlett is cold, ruthless, but most of all, devious. She is incredibly self-centered, and all of this is most likely caused by her childhood. However, her self-centered-ness would usually cause others' demise, for example, leaving a comrade behind to protect herself. According to Scarlett, you're weak if you can't even protect yourself. As a demon, causing others pain - besides the people you know and love, is pure enjoyment, so if they get killed or injured, who cares!

Brief History: Scarlett was a spoiled Heiress, even in the old times in Hell. Surrounded by riches and servants that bowed before her. Her parents were famed in the supernatural world, killing too many to count in battles. Scarlett would follow after her parents and was trained harshly everyday. First was self-defence, then was firearms, and after that would be many different ways to kill. Because of this exposure to such gruesome things at a young age, Scarlett did not think of killing as anything but normal. Her skills definitely increased everyday and showed power; and at the mere age of ten, she was stronger than most adult demons of high ranks.

The Devil himself soon became aware of the young Pure Demon's ability. He took the girl into his own hands and filled the girl with knowledge and power. Scarlett was taught all kinds of dark arts and magic, so much that it pained her a little to step out into the sun or to be in contact with bright lights.

For an unknown reason, Scarlett has lost all memory of her life before the age of 10, before she met the devil and left her parents. Because of this, her mind was fashioned into a blank canvas, open for anyone to paint on. And so, the Devil did so and dyed it in dark hues. Scarlett never regained her memory and never bothered to find out who her family was. After training in Hades, Scarlett left to the upper world and became like a hermit, travelling to wherever she wanted.

Upon joining the Nobility, Scarlett moved up the ranks with ease. She became the demon of the nobility, and was in charge of most of the industries that the Nobility/government had taken over or managed. Some of these industries include oil, plasma(for our newly upgraded weapons that shoot laser-beam particles), nuclear, and etc.

Personality:
Very insecure and shy, Elle is an introvert that normally runs away from big spotlights and social events. It’s not that she dislikes the event itself, but she’s simply uncomfortable around crowds of people and their critical, analyzing stares. She hides under a rocky shell; at a glance, she seems cold and uninviting with her apparent lack of emotions, but she’s actually rather sensitive and affectionate. She’s not much of a talker though; Elle is normally the student at the back of the room that rather doodle in a notebook than raise a hand to answer a question.

Brief History:
Elle’s mother had a substance abuse problem that started when her father left the family; Elle was in third grade. Her mother wasn’t a very strong person and turned to drugs and alcohol to bury her sorrows, often too high or drunk to attend to Elle’s needs. When Elle attempted to toss her pills and booze in the trash, her mother, intoxicated, lashed out and attacked her. The abundance of bruises and cuts on her body were duly noticed by her teachers and peers the next day, and it didn’t take long for authorities to show up and relocate Elle to her grandparents’ house.

Elle’s grandparents were shrewd business people. The achievements they had made in their lives had made them rich, and they lived comfortably surrounded by their money. They had disapproved of her mother’s marriage so Elle never met them until now. At first, they seemed to have gentle dispositions; kind, caring and sweet. But Elle came to realize that they didn’t truly care for her; whenever she asked for something, they’d toss a few wads of cash her way with superficial smiles and left her alone.

During middle school and high school, Elle made a few close friends, but she was usually too busy in the art room to spend time with them. Almost every lunch break, she’d quickly eat her lunch with her friends and return to her unfinished painting or drawing. She often spent a few hours after school there as well, and she became well acquainted with the art teacher, who had a few of his works displayed in the city’s art museum. He was impressed by Elle’s skill and passion in the arts, and recommended her to an art program in the neighbouring city. Her grandparents seemed more than supportive to fund her studies and send her off.

Clarice is generally a private person, and seldom shares anything about herself with others, even with family and close friends. Although she puts up a friendly and polite demeanor, this causes her to feel rather cold and distant to those who’ve exchanged a few conversations with her. At first glance, Clarice’s personality seems shallow, in the sense that she lacks depth. It’s normal for her to be nice to everyone, to have no one in particular that she likes or dislikes in any extreme fashion, to stay calm and collected in usually stressing situations. This is all simply a product of her habit of keeping to herself, whether it be her thoughts, memories or emotions. While she keeps all her feelings in, at the same time, external feelings don’t reach her either. As a result, she finds it difficult to empathize with others and notice when someone is feeling down or if someone likes her.

Relationship with the twins: A classmate; not exactly a friend, but more like an acquaintance with whom the twins have shared a few words with. She’s a bit closer to Damon than Angel, for the sole reason that she can relate more with his introverted personality.

Brief History

Clarice’s family had humble beginnings. Her father was a minor employee working at a well known brokerage firm, and her mother was an aesthetician. They were still rather busy in her childhood, but less so than in the present. As time passed and seasons changed, her family’s luck changed for the better as her father continued to get promoted and bring in more money. However, at the same time, he was rarely home, and her mother would spend a lot of her free time out of the house. Her family also moved quite often as they continued to upgrade to larger homes. Although Clarice didn't exactly think much about the lack of time they spent together as a family, she had always wondered whether it might have caused her tendency to be withdrawn.

At school, Clarice was the person with a lot of friends in various friend circles, but no one who was close enough to be considered a best friend. Among those friend circles were Damon and Angel; they were in the same class but never really talked to each other until a mutual friend introduced them to each other.

Victoria has feminine features; a slim face, slight nose and large eyes, framed by a more bold, tom-boyish haircut with wisps of hair that occasionally brush the top of her eyes. Her build is rather petite, despite her enhanced strength and speed as a vampire, with a slim figure and faint curves. She stands at about 5’2”, shorter and smaller than most, but with hidden fangs and claws, it would be a mistake to underestimate her.

Occupation: Attends a nearby art college; the courses were relatively affordable, and she saved up enough over the years to finance her education, though her means of obtaining the money remain ambiguous.

Length of time in the hideaway: Four years

Brief bio

It was by some unfortunate coincidence that drove Victoria’s parents to their untimely deaths. As a family of vampires, moving from one town to the next every few years was common practice. Victoria was merely a child at the time, no more than six years old, when she and her parents moved to her third home in a city near Providence. It seemed peaceful there at first, but unknown to her parents until it was too late, there was another larger vampire family who had been living in the town for generations and played a large role in the community. They didn’t appreciate the newcomers who they thought would uncover their identities and bring about chaos, so they decided to take matters in their own hands. They attacked one night, and although her parents were able to kill a good number of them, they eventually died from their wounds. Victoria didn’t discover what had happened until the next morning, when she emerged from a hiding place behind a closet.

Victoria was never really the same after the incident, and managed to blend in decently with humans in foster homes. However, she was constantly moved from one home to the next, after repeated incidents of hurting the other children. Eventually, she started to live on her own when she was ten. It was much easier that way without the need to disguise as a human. Finding food wasn’t very hard for a vampire, and stealing goods like clothes and other luxuries wasn’t too much of a chore either after a bit of practice. After a few years, Victoria arrived at Providence and heard about the safe haven for people like her, and has stayed there ever since.

Personality: Elle can be described as introverted and quiet, although not necessarily shy. She enjoys solitude, rarely speaking to others unless spoken too, and believes that she can think clearest alone. She also has a tendency to be quite emotionless and bottles every little feeling inside of her. It’s not rare to suddenly see her room in shambles or multiple holes and rips in her colorful canvases after her ‘bottle’ overflows, despite the regret she feels afterwards cleaning the mess up. Her way of speech it rather blunt, almost mono-toned by the lack of expression she puts in it.
Artistry: Elle is a university student with an art major. From childhood she had always enjoyed tapping into her creative side and expressing herself through any means (besides verbally), whether it were drawing, painting, sculpting or crafting. She had won many awards and earned money for her unique, abstract paintings and accurate still life drawings with surreal twists.
Knowledge: Elle is a complete newbie in terms of inception. However, things like dreams and psychology had always interested her.

Appearance: As an Empyrean, Alchemy’s skin is extremely pale and tinted blue, like her hair, which is regularly tied up in two large braids extending from the crown of her head. It fades from an icy hue to a darker, deeper blue tone around the fringe and ends, framing large eyes of a rose-gold color. Personality:
Growing up as a princess with a doting father, Alchemy is spoiled, selfish and overly pampered, and frequently becomes short-tempered when she isn’t given what she wants. Her upbringing has made her feel entitled to everything in the reaches of her family’s kingdom, and her father’s enabling parenting has only cultivated rebellion in the girl. Although Alchemy is given rules to follow as a princess, she constantly disobeys a good number of them when they conflict with the activities that she wants to do. This sort of behaviour tends to anger her servants and ladies-in-waiting, and drive them away in frustration. However, a rare few are loyal to her and can see through her perceived headstrong exterior and sense kindness, curiosity and an adventurous streak through her actions.

As she is given more political duties in her adolescence, Alchemy began looking towards her father for guidance, and followed his approach to his responsibilities. Though her father is carefree and loving in personal matters, he’s a well-respected and virtuous King who takes his position very seriously, and instructs Alchemy to do the same. She’s able to put aside her childish and selfish desires when it comes to her duties as princess, and manages to act in a polite and courteous manner fitting for a proper lady around the public and officials, though it is not to her liking. While she has shown kindness in her political decisions and genuine affection for her subjects, she’s not yet completely fit to rule.

Phobias/Fears:
Solitude - Alchemy was rarely left alone in her life, so it makes her uneasy to be alone and left to do things herself.

Aliens - A large number of extra-planetary creatures also scare her simply due to the fact that she and her planet haven't had much interaction with foreign entities.

Claustrophobia - The first years of her life took place locked in an underground cavern, and being confined to a space reminds her of her unhappier past.

Goals/Desires:
1- Make friends: Having grown up in a palace, she hasn't had many opportunities to befriend people her age. Her closest companions include a handful of older maids and servants, and a lady-in-waiting about three years older than her. Thus, it's one of Alchemy's greatest wishes to find someone she can talk to and rely on.

2- Recognition: As the heir to her kingdom, Alchemy always had the expectation to become a great ruler. She wants her people and father to recognize her as a worthy Queen of her nation, and hopes to succeed the throne someday and lead a peaceful, constructive reign.

Skills:
Frigid touch - The air closest to her tends to drop to around zero degrees, due to her inherently cold body temperature. Areas of objects she touches may frost over sometimes and turn cold. She is also able to bring the temperature of her hands and feet to a few degrees above zero, but compared to common warm-blooded species, it is still rather cold.

Powers/Abilities:
Blessing
Alchemy’s powers are based on helping, or ‘blessing’ those around her. This includes Enhancement, Protection, Healing, and Disables.

1- Enhancement: This part of Alchemy’s abilities focuses on enhancing the abilities of others, like speed, strength, and even magical output. For example, if she were to increase the strength of someone, they would be able to lift more weight or attack physically with more force. With magical output, it would increase the damage or range of another magi’s abilities. She is also able to use this on herself, giving her body enhanced capabilities.

2- Protection: Alchemy is able to form a shield that protects against tangible and some intangible (mental) attacks. The strength of the shield depends on the will of the caster, and how strong the desire is to protect.

3- Healing: Sometimes coupled with her enhancement ability, Alchemy is able to heal the wounds of others. This can be achieved in two ways; the first method is by enhancing the natural regeneration rate of the injured, though this requires a significant amount of magical energy, and doesn’t have as large of an effect. The second method is by transferring Alchemy’s energy to another person, however, this leaves her quite drained and will need rest before she is able to perform another spell.

4- Disables: This is Alchemy’s only offensive ability, which is purposed to disable foes. This allows Alchemy to stun or slow enemies, and sometimes, with more magical energy, disable their abilities temporarily, normally as a last resort to prevent attacks for a mere few seconds. Slows are much easier to perform than stuns, and depending on how much magical energy is used for it, the larger the effect of the slow. Stuns work in a similar fashion, however, Alchemy has to continuously hold it to contain the enemy in the stun. Both of these disables can be broken with sheer brute force, if it overcomes the amount of mana Alchemy uses in the spell. In order to disable an enemy’s abilities completely for a few seconds, Alchemy forms a barrier or field of sorts that negates powers by cutting off the magi’s connection to mana. Since this is extremely difficult to do, it only lasts for at most a few seconds and often negates her own powers, leaving Alchemy tired and unable to perform another spell for an extended amount of time.

Weapon(s): Alchemy uses a long rod slightly taller than herself, made of a mixture of materials. It is mainly composed of Glacite, a metal with mana absorbing and storing abilities.

(Not so)Brief History:
Alchemy was originally born as an illegitimate heir to the Kingdom of Isytheria. Just months before her birth, her mother was dethroned and exiled. She had faced strong opposition from the courts since her marriage with the king, due to the fact that she belonged to rather strong family with an old lineage who had opposed the monarch several decades ago. They had staged a coup in order to seize the throne for themselves, but ended in failure. The officials were afraid that with the position of a Queen, her family would slowly build upon their political influence once more and try to stage another revolt. Despite knowing her background, the King had married her out of love and ignored the complaints in the beginning. However, he was eventually unable to further fend off the demands of his officials, the King eventually banished the Queen to an underground villa on the outskirts of the country, until she could be called back, at least.

For the first years of her life, Alchemy lived in the ice chamber that the Empyrean people had built specifically for detaining those of upper class. Though the queen was banished there and lived in solitary, it was still extravagant enough to suit a member of the nobility. The establishment was periodically visited by Empyreans in order to provide living necessities, but aside from the rare pictures she saw, Alchemy knew nothing but the icy walls of her underground castle. Her mother would tell her stories about the outside as part of her education, and that she was to be a princess and given everything in the world when she grew up.

When Alchemy was six years old, the sickly state of the queen’s health allowed her to be finally released from her cage and was reinstated as princess. The King argued that the queen’s ill health would make the possibility of a coup very unlikely, and furthermore, she didn’t have a lot of time left. On the other hand, the King didn’t have any other heirs besides Alchemy, and as a child without any connection to the Queen’s family, she was innocent.

Alchemy quickly adjusted to her new life, finding it rather amusing how servants and adults would willingly answer her every call and demand. She often loved exploring the outside world and was generally a very active girl. Her father doted on her, and Alchemy grew to respect the man greatly. While she was enjoying her life as a princess, the queen’s health grew weaker and weaker, and as years passed, she eventually passed away. Despite dying with the status of a queen, many in the palace still held her with contempt. Alchemy was prone to throw temper tantrums following her death, finding it hard to adjust to the political duties she was given at first. However, she grew more mature and happy as she aged, and followed after her father who was strict when it came to national responsibilities.

Class: Enchantress

Skill/Talent Specialty: Astraea, in addition to being a manipulator of wills, can sense the presence and strength of minds of others over a large distance in the form of something akin to a heartbeat. This allows her to gauge the target’s mental defenses and project her powers over distances, but the effect and magnitude of her craftings are slightly lessened as the distance grows. Astraea also takes great pride in her magical prowess and spends much of her time honing her craft, and learning new skills to supplement it for. Though she is adept in many aspects of an Enchantress’ powers, Astraea specializes in creating vivid hallucinations and warped realities in the mind, whether they be dreamlike or nightmarish. Since her powers are not directly offensive, Astraea also decided to train her body, and thus she is rather athletic and quite adept in hand-to-hand combat and gymnastics.

Character details: The most noticeable feature about Astraea, like what seems to be the case with many other Enchantresses, are her eyes, which are pigmented in a blue hue as deep and captivating as the night sky itself. However, unlike most of her kind, Astraea was born with such eyes and the fusion with the succubus did little to change them. The boldness of her gaze is further emphasized by her pale, rosy complexion and platinum locks that fall to her waist.

Astraea is described by her allies and foes to be prideful and mischievous. She’s a playful character who generally keeps to herself, but carries a callous attitude underneath her amiable expressions. She finds joy in using her abilities for personal gain or entertainment, occasionally disregarding any loss or grief she may cause to others. Her behaviour has caused several conflicts with rather righteous magi in the past, but Astraea has since learned to be a bit more discreet - though she has found some within the community who find no wrong in her activities.

Brief Origin Story: Astraea never had a ‘human’ name. Although she was only about three or four at the time, the memories of her life before meeting her Mother Enchantress still resurfaced from time to time as a fading, yet sharp tingle. Her father, a nasty pig of a man, was a traveling merchant who had conceived Astraea with a peasant girl from the neighbouring village, out of temporary passions and a bout of lust. The peasant, though beautiful, was young and not mature nor wealthy enough to raise a child, and traveled to the man’s home to leave Astraea on the doorstep one night.

The arrival of the baby came as a surprise to the merchant’s wife, who he had already been married to for several years and bore two children with. After much conflict and deliberation, the despicable merchant and the equally as despicable wife reluctantly took the child in, in hopes of raising her to be a servant of sorts. However, as the by-product of an affair, Astraea would be the target of much resentment from the woman. She would often neglect the infant, refusing to feed or bathe the child for days, and punished it out of spite. Miraculously, Astraea managed to endure and live for a couple of years with what seemed to be either an innate, fierce tenacity or simply pure luck. As time passed, the children of the merchant also followed their mother and joined in the abusing of Astraea when they were old enough to do such things. Astraea endured unspeakable torment until she was saved by the Mother Enchantress, who took her away and gave her a better life. She was finally given a name - Astraea, meaning “star,” for her eyes of night gifted to her by her birth mother.

The hopelessness and weakness Astraea had felt as an infant would then fuel her greed for power as she trained with the Mother Enchantress. She focused all her energy in her studies, and sought excellence in everything the Mother taught her in order to please her saviour and strengthen herself in the process. As she continued to learn more and more, Astraea’s thirst for power became an absurd obsession, spending most hours of her days crafting elaborate fantasies and warping the minds of human test subjects without rest, in order to refine and expand her abilities. The succubus she was fused with towards the end of her training was much like her in personality and ideals - a demon shrouded in a chilling aura, with a savage greed for power that challenged Astraea’s.
