The sun is shining, the sky is clear. In an alleyway, in the middle of Duel City, a card game is going on. The game is called Duel Monsters, and its no ordinary game. Hidden in each innocent looking card resides a great power. And thus, the game continues:
A young Duelist named Tsunami is in the middle of a duel with a Dinosaur Duelist. It is Tsunami's turn. "I summon Atlantian Dragoons!" he called out as he placed the card on his custom duel disk, blue, with crashing waves reflecting the sea that he loves so much. As he played the card, the monster appeared before him, only, this was no dream, this was real life. "Now, I attack you directly!" In a swimming like motion, the sea-serpent, along with its rider, charged the Dino Duelist. "Draginic Spear!"
The opponent was struck, and he let out a grunt of pain, after all, the "images" were real, thanks to new technology in holographics. "Not bad kid," the opponent said, "But not good enough. DRAW!" He draws a new card and adds it to his hand. "I activate Dark Hole! Now, clear the field!" To his horror, Tsunami saw his monster get sucked into the vortex and destroyed. He added the card to his graveyard.
"Now," the Dino Duelist continued, "I summon Black Brachios!" Upon placing the card on his duel disk, the monster appeared just as Tsunami's had, only, now Tsunami was facing down an 1800 attack monster with no cards on the field and no hand. "Attack, Dino Trample!" And the beast did just that, trampling over Tsunami, wiping out the remainder of his lifepoints. He fell to the ground, his cards scattering. The other duelist moved owner to where he lay, and, reaching down, took one of Tsunami's cards. "Magic Cylinder, I like it." With that, he left the ally, only, on the way out, he gave Tsunami a hard kick to the stomach.
Through blurry eyes, he watched as the wind scattered his cards, pulling them away from him. In pain, he tried to reach for his favorite card, which was right next to his hand, Posiadra the Atlantian Dragon. Only, as he reached out, the card moved away from his hands. 'So this is it," Tsunami thinks, 'My cards finaly can't stay loyal to a weakling like me.' Watching in horror, he saw his cards love away from him, and Tsunami could do nothing about it.

As the sun was hanging high in the sky, the sky so clear that there was no clouds in the air, a green eyed girl, who looked about 16 years old was walking through the streets of Duel City. She looked up to the sky, her blue hair that was tied up in a high pony tail she took her hand and brushed some stray hairs behind her ear, she had a look of sadness on her face, since those from the Fusion world came and took over the XYZ world, they had also taken those close to her, she placed a hand over her chest, feeling it beating quickly, "Brother...Mother...Father...I will save you...I give you my word, your sacrifice will not be in vain."
She then clutched her fist, what was those Fusion people thinking, trying to unite the worlds...no one would accept being ruled by one person. She then took a deep breath, she then exhaled, and then looked forward, she then took a few steps forward, finding an alleyway and saw that someone was laying on the ground, and there duel monster's cards were scattered all over the ground. "Oh, that's not good..." She then picked up her feet, her white dress threaded with blue ribbon went over to the person, who she thought was unconscious, however picking up the cards along the way, and then approached the young man, "Excuse me...are these yours?" she then picked up the other monsters, spell and trap cards...she smiled..."So you prefer Atlantian cards huh?" she then gathered the remaining cards and then organized his deck, counting the cards, "Hey you are missing a card, did someone take your card?" she then laughed and blushed slightly, "Oh, my apologies, I should introduce myself first, my name is Fuyuko Hatsu..." she then gave him his deck back and placed it in his duel deck.
"You should take caution, Fuyuko this person could be working with those Fusion duelists." Suddenly one of her duel monsters cards, known as the Mistress of Water appeared, "I agree with Watery here, you don't know him from Adam...as you humans say" Then another one of her monsters appeared was the Mistress of Wind.
"Though that is true, Watery and Windy, however I think that there is more to him than meets the eye." Fuyuko responded. She herself wearing her duel deck, it looked like different aspects of a Phoenix, Dragon, Turtle, and Tiger. "Here, let me help you up." She smiled and reached her hand out to the young man.

Tsunami moves his head slightly. He was crying, and through blurry eyesight, he watched as a white form picked up his cards and handed them to him. He smiles up at the form, greatful that his cards were safe, but still sad. After all, his cards had forsaken him. "Yea.." he says in a defeated voice, "They're mine..." When she asked about him likeing Atlanteans, he smiled softly, but it was a smile of someone who had had their heart ripped out of their chest. He leaned against a wall for some support. "Yea, someone took one of my cards..." He wiped the tears from his eyes and took his first look at who was helping him. "Hi, Fuyuko...I'm Tsunami, like the wave..." He took her hand so she could help him up. He then went into an explanation of what happened. "I bumped into this guy, and he knew I play Atlantians, and he started to talk trash about my cards, calling them weak just cause they are mostly under level 4. I challenged him to prove him wrong, but he beat me and stole one of my cards..." More tears came to his eyes. "Its probably for the best, even my best card wants to leave me. Tsunami looked down at his deck, and the first card he saw was his sea-serpent dragon, Poseaidra.

Fuyuko then felt sad for Tsunami, she then took her hand, her slender fingers touched his soft cheek, wiping away the tears. "No duel monster is weak, they all have their own strengths...and just because you only have under level 4, does not mean that your cards in any way weak."
"You shouldn't think that your cards have forsaken you; if you believe in your cards, they will believe in you..." Fuyuko using her sleeve to wipe the remaining tears on his face. She then thought about it, and then smiled, "I guess this must be fate, I have something that help you..." She then brought her deck out, looking through her cards and then when she found the card she was looking for, handing it to Tsunami. "Here, this is for you. I do not have many lower level monsters in my deck, I have not been able to really use this card, you take it...I have a feeling that it will come in handy for you."
She placed the card in Tsunami's hand, it was a XYZ monster, it was a water type XYZ monster, called, "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" It was a rank three monster, with 2000 attack and 0 defense points. The picture depicted Leviathan with a wave crashing in the background.
She could sense that he was hesitant, "Please, it is quite alright." She smiled at him. "If you can tell me where that person went, I will help you get your missing card back. Nothing makes me more angry than those who pick on the weak. I guess you can say that my big brother always taught me to help those that need help."
Fuyuko then placed her deck back into her duel disc and had her cards shuffled. "Well I think this kid is no threat to us, I mean he was attacked, we should give him a chance." Mistress of Light appeared and placed a hand on Fuyuko's shoulder.
Then Mistress of Darkness appeared and nodded in agreement, "Though I try not to agree with Light here, I think she has a right idea, and in some way, it might come closer to maybe figuring out if we can save Fuyuko's parents and her brother..."
Fuyuko then nodded, a few of her own stray tears fell from her green eyes, "Takashin..." She then looked down remembering the day when her family was taken from her.
It was a partly cloudy day, when Fuyuko and her older brother Takashin were practicing dueling, Fuyuko was developing well in her skills as a duelist, but Takashin was always a step ahead.
"Sorry Fuyuko, prepare to lose this duel, I overlay my two level 8 monsters, I fill the overlay network and XYZ summon, Cerberus Keeper of the Underworld!" As he spoke the overlay network was filled, and then Fuyuko was facing one of her brother's strongest monsters, but she smiled and shook her head.
"Not today Taka-san, I use one of my overlay units on my Huang Long, Ruler of the Heavens, and when I do, I am allowed to destroy any XYZ monster on your side of the field and you take the difference of attack points as damage to your life points; now be gone, Cerberus, go Huang Long, remove that creature from our sight, with celestial destruction!" Fuyuko called out, as one of Huang Long's overlay units was absorbed into it, and then brought her hands forward; then the monster brought her hands close to herself, unleashing a bright light, sending the creature to the graveyard, and Takashin's lifepoints dropping to zero.
Takashin laughed, "I'm going to have to get even more treacherous with my strategy."
Suddenly they heard screaming coming from inside their house, "Mom and Dad!" they said at the same time, they went into the house to find out what was going on, when they found them, their bodies were lifeless, and then the people were laughing evilly.
"Mother! Father!" Fuyuko had tears in her eyes, why would these people randomly attack them, her parents were not thugs or even criminals, they were innocent bystanders. She desperately trying to get them to make any kind of reaction to indicate that they were ok.
"Don't worry, soon you'll join them..." one of them said with a evil grin on there face.
"Fuyuko, look out..." Takashin then got in the way of Fuyuko, "Get out of here Fuyuko...or they will get you too..." she heard her brother called out, as his soul was also captured. 'No...brother...' She then took her brother's advice and started running, as tears were falling from her eyes. 'Everyone...I am sorry that I couldn't help you...'
Fuyuko was then dragged from her memories, her eyes a waterfall of tears.

Catously, Tsunami takes the card and looks at it. "Wait, this is an Xyz monster...and you said I could have it?! He looked over the card, he had faced Xyz monsters, but never used one before. "Th..thank you..!" he stutters out, pleased that the stranger had been so kind to him. "Only...I don't know where he went...after his last attack, he kicked me and I blacked out....sorry..." He looked down at his deck again, looking at the newly added Leviathan Dragon. He felt something coming from his cards, some kind of power. Suddenly, he was taken into the girl's memory. He watched as the Fusion Users attacked her parents, and how her brother became a card, and how she fled for her life. Coming back to reality, he saw that she was now crying. Digging into his pocket, he pulled out a tissue for her to use.

Fuyuko then accepted the tissue, "Thanks..." She then wiped her eyes and looked solemnly to Tsunami, "Sorry...just some bad memories..."
She then heard him say that he didn't know where the guy went to, "That is alright, if you do see him, let me know, and I'll get your card back." she smiled at him. She then noticed his expression about the XYZ monster, "So you don't have any XYZ monsters in your deck? I guess then it definitely must be fate that we were to meet."
She then placed a hand over her duel deck, "I promise that I won't let you down Tsunami, I will help you get your card back, and I will make that guy pay for disrespecting your cards."
'Though it may not be easy, I will duel with all of my skills, everything that Takashin taught me, I will use to help others, and maybe we can find a way to stop those Fusion battlers from taken over all of the worlds.' Fuyuko thought to herself.
She then heard the growl from one of her monsters, "Fuyuko-san, you know that you have our support, and we will help you in any way possible."
Fuyuko smiled, "Thank you, Empress White Tiger."
Then she heard her Mistress of Earth speak to her, "Well Fuyuko-chan, what do you think we should do now?"
Fuyuko then answered her monster, "Well Earthy, don't know at this point." She then looked to Tsunami, "Well what should we do now Tsunami?"

The male looked the girl over. She seemed off somehow, like she was hiding something. "Who is it you keep talking to?" he asks, curious. "And, speaking of questions...um...how do I use the card you gave me?" He felt foolish for asking. He never had to use something that came from the extra deck. All the cards he ever owned went into the main deck, his effect monsters, his spells, his traps. Tsunami was still new at the game. He never even won a duel in his life. There was a bang, a roar, then a grunt of pain. Tsunami's ears perked up when he heard that roar. "That sound...it sounded like the guy I dueled. Looks like it came from the park." The park wasn't that far away, he could almost see it from the ally. Anger filled his painful body. Thinking back on what Fuyuko had said, that no card, no matter what its stats were, was weak. "Let's go!" he called out to her. On his face was an expression that said only one thing, I'm going to get revenge.

Fuyuko smiled, but then softly blushes, "Well...you see...the thing is..." she was a little scared to admit to Tsunami about her ability to see duel monsters spirits, when she saw Leviathan Dragon appeared behind Tsunami, the creature nodded his head, "It is alright Fuyuko...I can sense that this fellow has good intentions."
She nodded, "The thing is Tsunami, I am able to see the spirits of duel monsters...and I am able to speak with them." She then tensed up slightly closing her eyes, waiting for him to mock her, call her crazy, or even possibly hit her.
However when it did not come, and when he asked her about the XYZ summoning, she opened her eyes, and smiled. "Well, XYZ monsters are quite different than your normal duel monsters." Fuyuko started to say, "while you have two or more monsters of the same level, you are able to summon your XYZ monster, from your extra deck...the monsters that you use to summon the XYZ monster becomes what are known as its overlay units; however you have to have the same level as the rank of the XYZ monster you are trying to summon. Another unique trait XYZ monsters have, is that these XYZ monsters are not based on levels, but ranks. Along with that, most XYZ monsters have special abilities; however you should take note if it requires the use of the monster's overlay unit or not."
Fuyuko then pointed to Leviathan Dragon, "Like Leviathan Dragon for example, which she pointed to the name, "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon, It is a rank 3 XYZ monster, so that means you need two monsters that are level 3. Now those two Level three monsters, they become Leviathan Dragon's two overlay units," she then pointed at the details of the card, "If you remove an overlay unit and send that overlay unit to the graveyard. then in this case you are able to increase Leviathan Dragon's attack points by 500 points. However it is noted, that if Leviathan Dragon has no overlay units, it cannot attack the opponent's life points directly." She then pointed to Leviathan Dragon's stats, "It has 2000 attack, and 0 Defense points. So I wouldn't put it in Defense Mode."
She then smiled, "I hope that makes sense. It sometimes better to see, the next time we see that duelist that stole your card, you can see my XYZ monsters, and it may just make sense.
When Fuyuko heard the scream, and then said that it sound like the one that stole Tsunami's card. When she heard him say to go, she then thought about it and followed Tsunami. 'Why does his face look like that he wanted revenge?' "Wait, Tsunami, wait for me please." she said as she was trying to stay within a close distance to Tsunami.

Tsumani did not hear her tell him to slow down. Yes, he loved his cards, but there was more to it. These cards, each and every one, was given to him by his father. When he had been given the deck, it was the last time Tsunami had seen his father before the ship he was in dissapeared. It is asumed that it sunk, but no one knows why. All anybody knows is that none of the sailors had returned. In the center of the park, a duel was going on, and one person was clearly in a tight squeeze. "Go! take out the rest if his lifepoints! cred the winning duelist. The loser fell to the ground, clearly in pain.

Fuyuko then tried to keep up with Tsunami, she again tried to reach out to him, "Tsunami, please wait for me!"
Fuyuko then noticed before he ran off, something in his eyes, 'I wonder what drives him so much?'
When she finally caught up with Tsunami, she then gently grabbed his shoulder, "Tsunami, you shouldn't run off like that." She said, taken a few deep breaths, trying to catch her breath.
When she saw the duel and then the opponent fall to the ground. She then asked Tsunami, "Is that the duelist that took your card?" She asked, and then looked to the one that defeated their opponent.
Windy then appeared and then said to Fuyuko, 'Fuyuko-chan, take caution; I sense malice from that other duelist, stay on your guard.'
"I will Windy." Fuyuko spoke softly, she then let go of Tsunami's shoulder and then glared at the two who just finished dueling, waiting to see what the unknown duelist would actually do.

Fire burned in the usually calm Tsunami. In responce to his friend's question, he said, "Yes, that's him." The Dino-Duelist looked at Tsunami and sneared. "Aw, has fish boy come for more punishment?" Anger was all over Tsunami's face, "I'll fight you again, any day!" he shot at the duelist. "Oh yea?" the other said with a laugh, "How? You don't have a full deck." That fact just hit Tsunami, and he hung his head at his own stupidity. How could he have over looked something like that. "Just give me back my card!" In responce, he said, "I will, when you win it from me."

Fuyuko intervened, "Hey You!" pointing at the Dino Duelist and then her green eyes held anger, "How about you duel me instead?"
She could tell that Tsunami wanted to get his revenge, "You don't want to duel while angry." She placed a calming hand on Tsunami's shoulder.
"And you, just because someone likes to play Atlantian cards, does not make him a 'fish boy'. It also sounds like your not familiar with Atlantian cards. Not all are 'fish people'." She couldn't stand the fact that this guy was being so insulting.
She then lifted his head up, "Do not forgot, of what I just gave you..." she then using her other hand, hidden from the Dino Duelist's sight, and gives Tsunami a trap card, which it was called, "Mirror Force".
She then stood in front of Tsunami and then activated her duel disc, "Why not duel me, unless your afraid to lose?" Her eyes held a smirk.
Fiery then appeared besides Fuyuko, 'Fuyuko, we are all here to help you, we will be victorious'
Fuyuko nodded, "What say you?"
'I will get your card back Tsunami. I gave you my word.' Fuyuko then held determination in her eyes.

The duelist looked at her. "Bring it on, princess." he said with a sneer on his face. "What do ya say, if i win, how about you go out with me?" Tsunami, meanwhile, looked at the card that he had been given. Mirror force? That was a great card, and she gave it to him for free? Back to the duel that was about to start, the other duelist activated his fossil like duel disk. "How about I give you the first turn?"

Fuyuko mentally shuddered at that thought, but then nodded, "Fine, I accept your term, but if I win, you give back the card you took from Tsunami." She then had a agitated mark on her forehead, "Don't call me Princess!"
"Alright fine, I will accept your gift of allowing me to go first." She then had her deck shuffled by her duel disc once more and then drew five cards, "I Draw!" she drew her next card, and then looked them over, 'not a bad hand.' she thought to herself.
"First I activate the field spell card, 'Land of Scared Beasts!' She then placed the card in the field spell spot on her duel disk, "this card has many affects, but the one that is most important right now, is it allows me to summon my sacred beasts, without making a sacrifice. So with that I summon to the field, Suzaku, The Sacred Phoenix of the South, in attack mode!" She placed down her monster in the Monster Zone, then a loud roar could be heard, and then a giant phoenix covered in flames flapping its wings staring down Fuyuko's opponent. It was a level 8 Monster with 3500 Attack and 2900 Defense.
"Next I summon, Seiryuu, the Scared Dragon of the North! in Attack Mode as well!" Then a large blue Chinese Dragon appears, the virtual sky unleashing lighting. It was also a Level 8 monster, with 3700 Attack and 3000 Defense.
"Lastly, I place two cards face down, and with that I will end my turn." then two face down cards appear in the Magic/Trap card zone and then Fuyuko looks to her opponent, "Now it is your turn!"
She looked over to Tsunami and smiled.

The dino-duelist looked over the field. He had a plan. In his field spell spot was Jurasic world. On the field was Ultamite Tyrano and a face down. His facedown was his back up plan. He hoped he would not have to use it, but if he had to, he would. Anything to win.

Fuyuko then said, "Now its my turn, I draw!" she then drew a card from her deck and smiled, 'This should assure my victory.' She thought to herself, she then added the card to her hand.
"First I play one of my facedown cards, it is called Sacred Quartet, since I have two of my sacred beasts on my side of the field, I can summon the other two. So, welcome to the field, Genbu, The Sacred Turtle of the East, and Byakko The Sacred Tiger of the West." Which then a giant turtle and White Tiger appear and they roar respectively. Genbu is a level 8 monster with 3600 Attack and 2000 Defense Byakko is a level 8 monster with 3800 attack and 1900 Defense.
"Now, I overlay my Level 8 Suzaku, Seiryuu, Genbu, and Byakko and I fill the overlay network, and I XYZ Summon, Huang Long, Ruler of the Heavens, in attack mode!" She then raised her hand up, and then the monsters turn into orbs of light and then entered what looked like a swirling galaxy and then Fuyuko pulled out from her extra deck, her card and then placed it on her duel disc, and then a a blonde female dressed in celestial robes and had pale skin. Huang Long had four orbs floating around her, which were specific in color. Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow rotate around her in a circular motion.
Huang Long Ruler of the Heavens was a rank 8 XYZ monster, which a base attack of 4000 and defense of 3200; however Huang Long's attack actually goes up, to 8500. "I bet your curious about why Huang Long's attack went up, it is due to one of her effects, which one of them is, when I use specifically Suzaku, Seiryuu, Genbu, and Byakko, her attack goes up all the way to 8500. Also by using one overlay unit, I am allowed to use one of her effects, which one of them is to destroy the cards in my opponents magic/trap card zone, so I choose to destroy your facedown card, So Huang Long, destroy that facedown!"
One of Huang Long's overlay units went into Huang Long, and then she raised her hands up, and then a bright light appeared from her hands, and then destroys the facedown card.
"Now Huang Long, destroy Ultimate Tyrano, with your Celestial Destruction!"
Huang Long then draws forth a blade from the sky, and then grasped it and then charged at Ultimate Tyrano, the blade glowing intensely and then brought up the blade and then slashed at Ultimate Tyrano and then the monster was sent to the graveyard, which dealt the Dino Duelist a difference of 5500 points to his life points, which was more than enough to completely and utterly defeat her opponent. She watched as his life point counter dropped down to zero, and sent him flying across the way. She then returned her cards to her deck and then deactivated her duel disc, and then Mistress of Water appeared, 'That was well fought Fuyuko-chan.' "Thank you Watery." Fuyuko said, and then approached the Dino Duelist, "Well now it is time for you to give me back Tsunami's card."
She turned to Tsunami and asked, "Hey Tsunami, what was your card that he took from you?"

Tsunami smiled as he saw his bully utterly humiliated. It took him a moment to grasp that the duel was over. "The card?" He looked a little confused, then it hit him. "Oh, yea. It was Magic Cylinder." He went over to the Dino-duelist, who was on the ground. It almost looked like he had been knocked out. However, Tsunami was more focused on the duelist's cards, which were scattered from the impact of the final blow. He looked through the cards. Then looked through them again. And then for a third time. "Its not here," he cried out. "I can't find my Dad's card!" Tsunami went over to the duelist and started to shake him, trying to wake him up. "Where's my Dad's card?!" Slowly, the duelist started to wake up. In a groggy voice, he spoke, "Man...my head hurts...what happened?" Tsunami was right in his face. "Where is the card you stole?" The Dino-Duelist looked confused. "Where's my Magic Cylinder?" "Oh," the duelist said, still waking up. "I gave that card to the guy who hired me. I don't have it any more. You see, I'm a Duelist for hire and my job was to collect..." That was as far as he was able to explain before Tsunami gave the duelist a viscous upper cut to the chin, sending the poor male flying back. "You gave away my Dad's card!" he roared, seething in anger.

Fuyuko felt bad that Tsunami couldn't find his card among the Dino Duelist's deck. When she heard him say that he gave to the one that hired him, Fuyuko herself was getting angry, but she tried to stay calm, "Tsunami we will get your card back." She then picked up the Dino Duelist's collar and then her green eyes held anger and then she said with a calm, but clearly anger dripping from her voice, "Who was the one that hired you?"
When she didn't get a response at first she then spoke louder, "Unless you want to not only get beaten at a duel by a girl, but getting your butt kicked, you'll tell me NOW where to find the one that you gave Tsunami's card too."
Empress White Tiger appeared and growled softly, 'Remember Fuyuko-san, you don't want to get too angry, if I could, I'd tear our this throat for you.'

"Hey," the duelist said, raising his hands up defensively. "I am bound by my contract to not reveal who I work for." Tsunami wanted to hear none of that. "Screw your contract, where's my card!?" "I told you," the duelist said, "I can't tell..." And with that,m Tsunami gave him another punch. "Well, if i cant get my card..." Tsunami went through the duelist's cards, looking for something he could use. "I'll just take something to replace it. After all, is it wrong to steal from a thief?" He went through the cards, and found a black framed one. This one was out of place, as it was not a dino card. It was called Nightmare Shark. "I'll just take this one then." Te card felt right at home in his hand. It felt odd, like there was power coming from the paper. Then, the card started to glow, at first dim, but then grew brighter and brighter. Soon, the light was blinding. Tsunami felt himself being lifted off his feet. When the light faded, the others could see that Tsunami was no longer there. He had accidentally opened a portal to the Xyz world, and the other two duelists could feel that that was where he had gone to. Pulling himself back together, the dino duelist saw what happened. "That brat!" he spat out. "He has no idea what he just did." In the Xyz world, Tsunami was seeing nothing but devastation. Clearly a great city stood here once, but now, all that was there was rubble. The sky was dark, getting darker as the sun set. "Hey, you!" a voice called to tsunami. Turning, he saw that it was the people from the Fusion world. The ones that Fuyuko told him about. He ran, as fast as he could, and they gave chase.

"TSUNAMI!" Fuyuko called out, but it would end up being on deaf ears.
Fuyuko was surprised when Tsunami was gone, in the bright light, she felt the presence of XYZ world, it felt familiar, but knew that it was not like it could have been. It was not the home that she remembered.
"Why is someone like you traveling between dimensions anyway?" Fuyuko asked, her anger still prevalent. "If you are not going to tell me where I can find this person that hired you..." she then glared daggers into his eyes, "Then your going to at least point me in the right direction to find him." She was not going to allow him to get away until he gave her some answers, 'Tsunami, I hope that you stay safe, and stay away from the fusion users, if you can.' she thought to herself, but then glared still at the Dino Duelist, "I'm waiting..." she tapped her finger impatiently on her elbow, since her arms were now crossed.

"Look, man, I have no idea where your little mascot is. As for who hired me, he's known as the Professor." And with that cryptic answer, the duelist turns and tries to run. Then, there is a light emanating from Fuyuko's deck, one of her cards was glowing, like the one that transported Tsunami. Speaking of whom, in the Xyz world, Tsunami was quickly growing tired. He wasn't in the best of shape, and his pursuers were right on his tail. Rounding a corner around some ruble, a hand went over his mouth and another pulled at his collar. With a jerk, he was pulled aside. He saw the solders run by, but the hand over his mouth kept him quiet.

Fuyuko then thought to herself, 'Who is that Professor that he spoke of, and more importantly, why would he want a duel monsters card like magic cylinder?'
Huang Long then appeared and then placed a hand on Fuyuko's shoulder, 'I sense something is amiss here Fuyuko-chan, I would go into this with extreme caution. It is hard to say what will happen next.'
Fuyuko nodded, "Thanks Huang Long, I know that I should be careful, but I worry for Tsunami, he's in XYZ world, and it is probably crawling with Fusion users."
She said that then saw the bright light from her deck, It was bright, "What is this light?" She had to cover her eyes, but then her arm raised up and then she became confused as she couldn't see what was in front of her.
When Fuyuko was able to see, she realized that she was no longer where she was. She was back in XYZ dimension, she was home. She then placed a hand on one of the buildings that seemed to slowly crumble under her touch she wanted to start crying; however she knew it was not safe out here. She then hid into another building and then sighed and spoke softly, "Tsunami, where are you?"
Fuyuko then decided that she would start looking, although she didn't know where to start, but she knew that people were still around, although they were hiding.

As the Obilisk Force passed by, the one holding Tsunami waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, a voice whispered into his ear. "Who are you? Your not from around here." The hand left Tsunami's mouth. Tsunami looked at his savior. "A simple 'hello' would be nice." The other person gave Tsunami a look. "I'm Tsunami," he said in response. "What are you doing here?" For that, tsunami didn't have an answer.

Fuyuko slowly hiding in the shadows, 'I hate that I have to hide in the shadows.' She thought to herself.
However before she could move on, someone grabbed Fuyuko's wrist and then she was surprised, and was turned around, her blue hair covering her face, she then was staring down the eyes of someone familiar, she spoke softly, "Is that you, Alexiel?"
The purple eyed girl, named Alexiel she then tucked some stray blonde hairs from her face and nodded, "Fuyuko, where have you been? I've been worried about you. When you disappeared, I was scared. I thought those fusion users got you."
Fuyuko smiled, and patted Alexiel's head, "I'm alright Alexiel, you shouldn't worry your pretty little head over me." She then looked to Alexiel, "Have you seen anyone recently, someone that is unfamiliar?"
Alexiel then shook her head no, "Sorry Fuyuko."
Fuyuko nodded, "I see, I hope that I can find him..."
Alexiel then had a glint in her eye, "O~h it's about a boy, tell me more."
Fuyuko flicked Alexiel on the forehead, "Don't.Say.Anything." She then looked away.
In the Syncro dimension, there was someone riding their D-wheel, riding through the city, she was lost in her thoughts, 'Something is amiss in the air, I don't know what I should do, maybe I should consult someone.'
She then revved up her D-Wheel, and then went deeper into the city, she needed to clear her head.

"My name is Metro. Kid, you need to be careful," Tsunami's savior told him. "This place is a war zone, in case you haven't noticed. Tsunami looked at the shorter male. Metro looked to be younger then himself, and he called Tsunami a kid? "Trust me," Tsunami said in response, "I noticed." Tsunami sat in the ground, his back against a wall. How was he going to get back home? He was not only in a different place, but a different dimension. And he had no idea how he got here. One second he was holding Nightmare Shark, the next, he was in this place. Pulling out his deck, he looked at the bottom card, the one he could see the face off. It was Nightmare Shark. Moving to the next card, Tsunami saw Leviathan Dragon. Under that was Posiadra. His three best cards, all together. "Oooo!" said Metro happily. "You play too?! Won't you Duel me? Please? Tsunami was pulled back from his thoughts. "Wha...yea, sure." After all, this boy had saved him. If he wanted to duel, the least he could do was say yes. They drew their cards and the duel began. A few turns in, Metro had a card called Power Tool Dragon on the field. Its robotic body showing great power. On Tsunami's side was Posiadra. Her serpent like body filling the space around Tsunami. She let out a great roar, which could be heard for miles.

Fuyuko then felt bad slightly for flicking Alexiel's head, "Sorry, but you know how I feel about that." She then blushed slightly.
Alexiel smiled, "It's fine Fuyuko, I know it is not easy, especially when they turned Takashin's soul into a card." she said.
Fuyuko then heard a loud roar, was that a fusion duelist fighting someone, when suddenly Mistress of Earth appeared and then spoke to Fuyuko, 'I think we should investigate from a distance, it could very well be Tsunami-kun dueling a fusion user.'
Fuyuko nodded, "Your right Earthy, we should go check. Alexiel will you come or are you staying?" She asked her friend.
Alexiel smiled, "Totally coming, besides I want to see this boy your talking about. Also it is So not fair that you can talk to duel monster spirits you know."
Fuyuko nodded then giggled slightly, "Well, you can blame fate for giving me that gift." She then headed out, following the sources of the sound, but staying out of sight in case fusion users were lurking about.
After some time, Fuyuko and Alexiel was near where Tsunami was, since the roaring got louder, and then quickly hid into the building, "Tsunami! your alright!" however she saw that he was in a duel, with someone, were they a fusion user? "Who are you?" she asked the unknown duelist.
Alexiel then looked over to Tsunami and then whispered to Fuyuko, "He's kinda cute Fuyuko."
Fuyuko blushed and then flicked her forehead again, "Not the time for that Alexiel."
Alexiel then noticed Posiadra, "O~h, he's a Atlantian card user at least it seems like it."
Back in the Syncro dimension, the girl riding her d-wheel finally stopped and then looked around, "The city is unusually quiet, when suddenly two other people rolled up on their d-wheels and then they removed their helmet and then they smirked, "Look what we have here, what are you doing out here so late, little girl?" they spoke with malice in their voice.
She then removed her helmet, her long silvery hair, and golden eyes, glared daggers at the two, "Get out of my way, you lowly cowards." she said with a sharp tongue.
"Let's get her! time to duel!" they spoke, she quickly got her helmet back on and then the other two did the same and then they revved up their d-wheels and then they activated duel mode on their d-wheels. "Let's Duel!" they said in unison.

Tsunami turned and saw that it was Fuyuko and smiled. "Yea, I'm all right." When asked his name, Metro spoke. "'Name's Metro." He returned to the duel. He then activated a trap card. By sending three equip cards from his graveyard and putting them back in his deck, Metro was able to inflict 1500 points of damage. Now, tsunami only had 200 Life points. "Attack, Power Tool Dragon!" With that attack, Double Rool C and D activated, making the dragon machine stronger, and thus it destroyed Poseadra, along with the remaining Life Points Tsunami had.

Fuyuko thought for a moment, 'I do not know anyone by that name.' She saw that Tsunami lost the duel, but she was solemn about it, "Do not worry about the duel, I believe that you will get better with time."
Alexiel then smiled and then patted Tsunami's back, "Hey it's alright guy, we can't win all of our duels. I'm Alexiel by the way, I'm a good friend of Fuyuko's here." She then whispered into his ear, "I'm also a Atlantian card user as well." She smiled.
Fuyuko then looked to Metro, "Tell me, what brought you to this dimension?" she asked him, curious if he was someone that was working with the fusion users, she had her duel deck ready to fight in case. She wouldn't allow Tsunami to lose his soul.
She then drew a card, "Now it's my turn and I will end this duel! First I summon Junk Anchor and then I give my Dark Magican Girl a Tune up! I syncro summon, Stardust Dragon!" Stardust Dragon appeared, a level 8 syncro monster, with 2500 attack and 2000 defense.
"Next I use my other Junk Anchor, and I give my Ladies of water and wind a tune up , and I syncro summon, "Lady of Ice in attack mode!" This was a water attributed level 8 syncro monster, with 3000 attack and 2000 defense.
"Now, get rid of their remaining life points! Go Stardust and Lady of Ice!" They attacked and destroyed her opponents remaining life points, making their d-wheels hiss steam and then sent them to the sides. "That's what you two get for taking me on! Lowly cowards!" She then sped off disengaging duel mode.
Suddenly her deck started to glow, "What's going on!" the bright light surrounded her and her D-Wheel and then she tried to keep control of her D-Wheel and then she hit the breaks, causing her D-Wheel to skid, but she kept control, and then stopped and then she was staring down two guys and two girls, one in particular looked similar to her, except her hair and eyes. 'What the heck happened to me, and I guess the better question is, where am I?' she thought to herself then spoke, "Who are you all?" she was still wearing her helmet and then got off her D-Wheel, "Where am I?"

Tsunami did a double take upon hearing that this new girl used the same strategy as him. What would a deck like Atlantean be in the hands of someone in the Xyz demention? Metro looked at the others. He tried to play dumb. "This demention? What are you talking about? Did you hit your head too hard?" He walked away from the others, waving his hand to them in good-bye. Tsunami watched him as he left. Was he ever going to be strong enough to win?

Fuyuko then tried to get Metro to stay, "Hey wait!" he then got out of sight and sighed and muttered softly, "I didn't hit my head..." she pouted slightly.
She then noticed that Tsunami was sad, "Don't worry Tsunami, I believe that you can get stronger."
Alexiel nodded, "I was in a similar situation as you, but then I learned from Fuyuko, after all she learned to duel from her brother."
The Syncro Duelist then approached them slowly, "Hey, who are you guys?" she asked. She then took off her helmet, her silvery hair and golden eyes looked forward, besides the hair and eyes, she looked completely similar to Fuyuko.
Alexiel did a double take, and then gasps, "I didn't know that you had a sister Fuyuko?"
Fuyuko then sighed, "I don't, but it is uncanny." She and the Syncro girl stared into each other's eyes, "What's your name?" Fuyuko asked.
The silver haired girl answered, "Name's Fuyu. What's your name?" Fuyu asked.
"Fuyuko. Fuyuko Hatsu." She said.

Tsunami, too, did a double take at seeing Fuyu. Even the girls' names we similar. What was this, some kind of inter-dimensional mirroring? Thinking about it make Tsunami's head hurt, so he stopped. It was at that point that rain started to fall. Instinctively, Tsunami put his cards into an inside pocket of his jacket. HE might like water, but water could damage his precious cards. He looked around and then looked at the others. Before he could say anything, a bolt of lightning strikes right behind him. In fear, he jumped and landed on the ground, in a heap. Mud covered his face. As his vision started to come back, he saw a figure standing where the lighting had struck. A voice spoke, and it was familiar to him. "Fuyu, I challenge you to a duel!" Tsunami then placed the voice. It was Metro! What was he doing here?

Fuyuko sighed, 'The sky can't seem to stop crying, of what those fusion users have done to this world.' She thought to herself. She grabbed Alexiel's hand then, leaped when she heard the lightning strike the ground. She then let go of Alexiel's hand and then extended a hand to Tsunami. "You alright Tsunami?"
When Fuyuko heard Metro's voice again, she turned, "Why did you come back here??" He did just leave them behind, with not as so much as a explanation.
Fuyu then couldn't help but smirk, "Are you sure that you want to challenge me to a duel?"
Fuyuko then saw a duel spirit appear next to Fuyu, "What duel monster is that?"
It looked over to Fuyuko, 'Are you able to see me child? My name is Stardust Dragon.' it spoke with a solemn voice.
'Stardust Dragon?' She thought to herself. Fuyuko then gripped her chest slightly, like their was a foreign pain, but she couldn't understand where it could come from. Fuyu did her best to hide a pain that appeared in her chest as well, she then glanced over to Metro, "So if you wish to back down from your challenge, it won't hurt my feelings any."
Fuyuko then took a step forward, "I don't think you should duel him Fuyu. Allow me to duel in your place."
Fuyu then waved her finger, then turned to Fuyuko, "You shouldn't try to fight others battles, besides, he seems edger to lose."
Fuyuko had a bad feeling about this duel, she couldn't tell what. Then Light put her friendly hand on Fuyuko's shoulder, 'I believe that Fuyu's words are correct Fuyuko-chan; it is not a good idea for us to attempt to intervene in this. As much as Dark wants to fight, it is best to see this duelist's strengths first.' Light spoke softly.
Fuyuko clutched her fist, "Damn it, I know it is true, but..." She then took a deep breath, she tried to stay calm, she also didn't know Fuyu's strengths, she could be just as good or even better than Fuyuko herself.

Tsunami stood up. He glared at Metro. "It is time for you two to come with me to Academia." Academia? What was that? However, Tsunami felt that this was basicly Kidnaping. And that was wrong. He stood in front of the others. He was going to defend his friends. "I will duel in her place. His face said that he would not back down from this decision. Tsunamis duel disk activated. As did Metro's. "I'll go first." He looked at his hand. It was ok, not great, but good. He was nervous. What if he lost? He shoved that thought aside. "I summon Heavy Infantry. Using its effect, I summon Marksman. I set a card and end my turn." Metro looked at Tsunami's field. "How weak." He drew a card. "I summon morphtronic Cellphon and set a card. I end MY turn."

Suddenly then someone appears next to Metro and then they stood next to Metro, "Well if that is the case, then this can be a tag team duel, Myself and Metro, against you two." The voice was female.
Fuyuko then couldn't help but think to herself, 'Why would we need to go to the fusion world?'
Light then looked concerned, 'Fuyuko-chan, we need to be careful of those two.'
Fuyuko then noticed that someone else was standing with Metro. "Alexiel, you be careful!" Fuyuko then told her best friend.
Alexiel winked at Fuyuko, "I've learned from you, so I am confident in my skills."
Alexiel then drew her hand and then, "My turn" and then she smiled, a decent hand, "I Summon Panlong, the Water Dragon, in Attack mode." It was a level 4 sea serpent with 1800 attack and 700 defense. "I then tribute Panlong and summon Leviathan Sea Guardian in attack mode!" it was a level 8 monster, with 3200 attack and 2000 defense. I place two cards face down, and I end my turn." Alexiel said.
The cloaked woman smirked, "Then I will take my turn" then drew a card, "I summon Ancient Sorcerer in attack mode with two cards face down and end my turn." Ancient Sorcerer is a dark spellcaster and had 1000 attack 1300 defense. "Your turn" she spoke to Metro.

It was now many turns into the duel. Tsunami's life was at a mere 1100. It was looking dark for the young boy. He stared at his hand, trying to find a way out, but he could not find one. Tears started to flow down his cheeks. Once again, he was not good enough. He could not protect his friends. Tsunami went to wipe the tears from his eyes, and with his eyes closed, he saw something. Only, he wasn't seeing the Xyz world, were he was, he was somewhere different. Somewhere dark. Then, he felt water lap at his feet, icy cold. The water started to ripple and move. Out of the depths came a giant monster who looked like a Mermaid King. In a deep voice he said, "What is something you can see, but can't see?" The words made no sense to Tsunami. The king now started to reach for the boy, who could feel an evil energy emanating from the form. He turned and ran, but the king was too quick. He caught up to Tsunami and held him close to his own cold body. In the real world, Tsunami stood, frozen in a nightmare that wasn't a nightmare. Then, his cards started to glow blue. All he had on the field were a few face down traps, his hand and deck also started to glow, along with his extra deck. Brighter ad brighter the cards shown, becoming blinding. Then, the light faded and there was Tsunami, only, he looked different. His calm, joyful features were now dark and cold. Tsunami kept a crystal of Aquamarine as a necklace, and it, too, started to glow, only, it wasn't the blue light of his cards, no, the crystal was changing color. From black to white to purple, and back to black, cycling through the colors. Tsunami then spoke, his voice now that of the King's. "I will teach you to bow to the KING!" he yelled to Metro and the woman. "Tsunami" drew his next card, his face holding an evil smirk." My first move is this!" From his hand, he placed a monster card, and the creature materialized before him. "deep sea deva!" A card came out of the middle of his deck. Grabbing it, he summoned the monster as well. This one was the Atlanean Prince. "This creature allows me to dump a card in my grave and add a card to my hand. Two more cards got spat out of the deck, one being Dragoos, the other being a different card. "With Dragoon's ability, I can add another card to my hand." This one was a monster called Heavy Infentry. "From my hand, I discard Infentry and Abyssleed to special summon Abyssgalo!" The large sea serpant also appeared, wearing armor. "When Infentry is sacrificed for a water monster;s effect, I can destroy one face up card my opponent controls. I chose your Morphtronic Bind!." Infentry then appeared, and stabbed the trap card with his trident, destroying it. With Galo's effect, I feed my prince to him!" On the field, The warrior soon cornered the small prince, and started to eat him. "When the prince is sacrificed for a water monster's effect, he summons a monster from the grave. Come back to me, Dragoons!" Dragoons now came to the field, warriors riding them like horses. Now, the crystal was shining white, and only white. "I use my level 1 Deva to tune my level 4 Dragons!" On the field, Deva became a green ring that surrounded Dragoons, who became 4 sparks of light. As the light of the Syncro summon faded, a new monster was on the field, it's name was Catastor. Now the crystal shown purple. "From my hand, I activate a spell card, Instant Fusion." On the field, a small can appeared, looking like a can of soup. Then, the can's lid opened, and in a puff of blue magical smoke flowed out of the can. When the smoke cleared, there was a monster, Elder Enity Norden. "With his effect, I can special summon a monster from my grave, I choose dragoons!" The crystal necklace now stopped on black. "With Norden and Dragoons, I build the Overlay Network!" A black hole appeared in the ground, and the monsters went inside of it. Out of the hole came a new monster, this one called Sillent Honor ARC." The monster had the appearance of a battleship, two orbs orbited around it. "I detach its Overlay Units, activating its effect, I can take one of your monsters, and attach it to my ARC." A beam shot out at Power Tool Dragon, and soon, it was nothing but an Overlay Unit orbiting around the ARC. Metro watched as his field started to fall apart before his eyes, and "Tsunami" wasn't done yet. "With dragoon's effect, I add another Galo to my hand." The deck spat the card out, and he added it to his hand. I discard 2 monsters from my hand to Speacial Summon another Galo to my field. And when Heavy infenrty is send to the grave, I can destroy one card you control." Metro watched as his other monster exploded into pieces. And when Abyssgunde is discarded, I can special summon a monster from my grave. Come forth, Abyssleed!" From a watery hole, the monster appeared, also looking like a warrior. "Now I build the Overlay Network and summon Abbyssgaios!" Now the king himself appeared. That deep voice emanating from both Tsunami and the king. "Bow before the King of the Sea!" The monsters moved towards Metro, their faces showing the intent to kill. They all struck at Metro, the last one was the King. From his trident, blue magic issued forth, surrounding Metro. "Now open your mind to the truth!" Water crashed against the boy from all sides. Faintly, you can hear his mind breaking, his beliefs in Acadamia dissolving. It sounded like breaking glass, only much softer. metro fell into a heap, his face blank. The woman was by his side, trying to wake him up. She looked at Tsunami, "You'll pay for this!" And with that, her dueldisk teleported herself and Metro away from that world. Tsunami's face was now blank as well, as he, too, fell to the ground. His field faced away, his cards subtly returning back to their original forms.

Fuyuko then heard the sound of breaking glass, she gasped in surprise, "Tsunami!" she then went over to him and then found that he was unconscious, picking him up slightly, resting his head against her right arm, she then placed a finger over the vein in his neck, he had a slow pulse, "He's alive, but unconscious."
Fuyu then kneeled down and looked into Fuyuko's green eyes, "We need to find a place for him to rest, here, you all can ride on my Ice Empress." She then motioned to her D-Wheel.
Fuyuko with Alexiel's help and then they sit on the back seats holding Tsunami, Fuyu then got on her D-Wheel and smiled, "Better hang on tight, tell me Fuyuko, where is there a good place to rest."
Fuyuko then thought about it, "We will need to stay out of sight, those fusion users are still about. Go up about a few blocks and then make a right."
Fuyu then nodded and then started up her D-Wheel, speeding off in the direction that Fuyuko pointed out.
Meanwhile the woman then placed Metro on a bed, and sighed, "I was close to capturing those two, after all, getting the Standard's counterpart was without little effort, but those two..." She then growled softly.

Tsunami heard voices, faint, distant. He recognized the voices, from what he could hear. His world was black, he could see nothing. Still those voices spoke. Was that an engine? Soon, the sound stopped. The voices were speaking softly. He could not understand what they were saying, but he kept hearing his name. Along with the voices came that dark, deep voice. He recognized that voice. it was the last thing he heard before his memory faded to nothing in the duel. Did he lose again? Surely, for he was thinking he was going to lose. He felt something soft under him, his vision still nothing but black. Starting to stir, he opened his eyes slightly. Where was he? The world outside his thoughts was too bright, Tsunami put a hand over his eyes to shade them, His arm felt like it was made of lead. "Where am I?" he asked in a groggy, sleep-like voice. "What happened?"

Fuyuko made sure that Tsunami was comfortable while he was still unconscious, when they finally stopped Fuyuko with Alexiel's help were carrying Tsunami's unconscious body while Fuyu followed behind them. She was surprised at this guy's dueling skills.
Fuyuko then placed him on the floor, trying to make it comfortable and then sighed, "What happened Tsunami, are you alright?" she softly spoke, if it was something that she could have stopped, she'd feel responsible completely. Alexiel placed a friendly hand on Fuyuko's shoulder, "He'll be alright Fuyuko-chan. Have faith."
"You know that is easier said than done, especially when it seems like everything against you." Fuyuko said sadly.
Fuyu interjected, "Your friend's right Fuyuko, I think he'll be fine."
When Fuyuko looked to Tsunami's unconscious form, however she had a glimmer of hope when he started to stir awake, "Tsunami!" she then placed a friendly hand over his, "What happened? you apparently have more dueling skills than you give yourself credit for, however I didn't know that you had fusion cards?" Tsunami looked at his friend. Fusion cards? He gave her a puzzled look. "I don't have any fusion cards. I never did." He handed her his deck, which he found in one of his pockets. "You can look for yourself." The boy looked around. "Now, where am I? and why can't I remember what happened in our duel?"
In another world, Metro was starting to wake. As he sat up, he rubbed his aching head. "Man, what happened? I feel like I got ran over by a bus." He pulled out his cards, staring at the bottom card, his precious Power Tool Dragon. Metro replayed that duel in his head, he saw the chain of summons, all leading to that final attack. His fist hit the wall, putting a hole in it. Revenge filled his eyes. "Tsunami," he said to himself, "I will defeat you, I swear it. I SWEAR IT!"

Fuyuko then looked confused as well, but you played a magic card, instant fusion." She then took his deck into her hand and then searched for the cards to prove her point, but looking through it three times, but didn't find it. "That is strange, I saw that magic card."
Alexiel then looked on with confusion as well, "Yea, hey I'll show you." she then went to her duel disk to try to access the previous duel, because Alexiel's duel disk had a feature to record the last duel that she would take part of, it was for Alexiel's teaching, Fuyuko recommended it to learn from her mistakes.
Fuyu then looked around and then asked Fuyuko, "I'm with Tsunami, where exactly are we?"
Fuyuko handed back Tsunami's deck and then looked down slightly, "This...is what is left of my home." She then looked around sadly, as she stood up, though the building was mostly in tact, but almost everything in it was nearly broken to pieces. She then found on the ground, with the glass broken in the middle, making it look like a broken image, was a image of Fuyuko's parents, Takashin, and a younger version of herself.
Fuyu then placed a hand on Fuyuko's shoulder, "Is that your family?" she asked looking at the picture.
"Yes..." Fuyuko then looked down, still hanging on the picture.
Alexiel then was able to bring it up, "Here Tsunami, here's what we are talking about." She then turned to show the video of the last duel.
The black cloaked woman walked in, "thought I heard something getting punched" she said solemnly, and then she stood near Metro with her arms crossed, "You should get a chance to recover your body before you go gallivant around talking about revenge." She said and then smirked, "Besides, it is a interesting turn of events, and apparently the Professor's goals may not seem so far away as he thought."
She then cocked her head to the side, "I think that it will be of interest that we may work together to not only get your revenge, and I will get those two to get the Professor's plans in motion." she spoke with a thick malice in her voice.

Tsunami felt his friend's sadness, the pain of old memories. The memory of what was, what is, and what could have been. He had that same pain. Memories of his father plagued him. Looking to watch the recording, he watched in shock. There was no mistaking that it was him. But, the him that was in the recording was so different. His face contorted with rage and anger. One after another cards got played. A string of summons issuing from the cards. Syncro, Xyz, Fusion, all things he could not do. And then the attack was declared. The ruthlessness of it was unimaginable. "I...I don't believe it. That...can't be me. This has to be a trick of some kind."
Back at the Academy, Metro and the mystery girl were talking. Quietly, a boy watches at the door. His eyes shine in the light. One was red, the other, blue. It was this birth defect that the boy got his nickname, Odd-Eyes, after the name of his favorite card, Odd-Eyes Dragon. Clearing his throat, he entered the room. Metro turned to face the newcomer. "All this talk of revenge is pointless." "What do you want, Odd-Eyes?" The boy smiled, "Its clear that that Tsunami person has skills even he doesn't know about. If you going to beat him, you're going to need help." Metro glared at the boy. "Get out of here, will ya?" With an expression that said, 'How typical?' he turned, but before he left the room, he threw cards at the others, two cards went to each person. Metro caught his gifts, the girl did the same. "If you're going to win, use those." And with that, the young boy left. Metro looked down at his new cards, and he could not believe his eyes. The cards were Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician, two Pendulum cards. He saw that the girl had been given the same gift.

Alexiel looked sadly at Tsunami, but she shook her head, "Sorry Tsunami, but this is not altered or edited, it did happen, Fuyuko and Fuyu here witnessed it as well." She then smiled and placed a friendly hand on his shoulder, "But I think that it shows that you are stronger than you think, Tsunami, and that should make you feel slightly more confident in your skills Tsunami."
Fuyuko felt sad, why did her family have to be taken, her brother as well. She then couldn't hold back anymore, she allowed herself to cry, holding the frame close to her heart, and felt her body shake. She tries to be strong for everyone's sake. Being home, seeing the destruction, their relentless assault on this world that was her home, it was becoming too much. Her head started hurting, but her heart was hurt most of all, she started to lose herself in the chaos, when she felt Fuyu's arms and then allowed Fuyuko to fall back with her support, and was leaning against the back of what used to be the couch, "Girl, you need to relax, I mean you look like a wreck. Have you gotten any rest as of late?"
Fuyuko made the motion to indicate that she has not gotten very much rest. "I can only imagine what all of what happened to this world, has done to someone like you. You don't need to try to carry all of the burden yourself Fuyuko. You should know that you are not alone. You remind me of one of my friends back in my world, and so does Alexiel here." She then took her glove off her hand and wiped the tears from Fuyuko's green eyes.
Alexiel then looked to Fuyuko and felt awful for her friend, in fact because Fuyuko sought her out, her family didn't get turned into cards, Alexiel would be forever in Fuyuko's debt for saving the few that she did. However she turned her attention back to Tsunami, "I think that you have great potential Tsunami, you should believe in yourself more."
Fuyuko then looked to Tsunami, his face was in awe and shock, he couldn't believe what was in front of him. She put the picture down and then got on her knees, she motioned her way over to Tsunami and then took his hands into her own, "Tsunami, I know you are strong, no matter if you believe in your strength or not, we believe in you. You have skills. However, like anything, you will need to use your skills responsibly. Never be afraid to talk to me about something if it bothers you, ok Tsunami?" despite her eyes holding some sadness from earlier, she smiled at Tsunami, Fuyuko could see some of Tsunami's monsters behind him.
She smirked as the young boy, Odd-Eyes came in and then mentioning that revenge was pointless, although she could argue with him about that, and get into a debate about it, she decided against it and then caught the two cards, 'Stargazer magician and Timegazer Magican huh? two Pendulum cards, so he thinks that Pendulum summoning is going to help us?' She shrugged her shoulders, and then placed them into her deck, although she thought pendulum summoning was a little pointless, also considering the fact that the little brat had the audacity to claim that she needed help her win a duel was atrocious. The young woman then felt the aura of her ace monster around her, and then couldn't help but laugh, yes, if she could have summoned her, then things may have turned out different.
"So, Pendulum summoning huh? how do you feel about it Metro?" She asked Metro, with a sense of heavy sarcasm in her voice.

Tsunami looked down at his friend, her words piercing his heart. In his whole life, only is father believed he had any kind of skill, and now, his friends do as well. He was touched, his heart ached, a single tear rolling down his cheek.
Meanwhile:
Metro looked at the female. "I think that that brat likes to think he is a god just because he created Pendulum." He looked back down at the cards that he had been given. Then again, he thought to himself, he could use pendulum to better his deck. Maybe that wasn't such a bad idea. "Tsunami," Metro roared, "when I find you, you will PAY!"
Back in Syncro, Tsunami looked around the room. "Did you feel that? It almost felt like....pure anger...." Just then, there was a knock on the door. Then another. Finally, the door opened and there stood Odd-Eyes, his face brimming with innocence and youth. "Hia," he said to everyone.

Fuyuko couldn't help but smile and then wiped a tear from Tsunami's face, "Just know my words are true." Alexiel then nodded as well.
Fuyu couldn't help but smile slightly, of course she felt slightly like a third wheel but she didn't mind, "So, what do you all want to do, at this point it may not be a good idea to stay here?"
Fuyuko turned her head when she heard the voice of the new young boy that entered the room, "Who are you?"
Fuyu then looked the young child over, "Haven't seen you before, what is your name?" Her golden eyes staring at the child with the odd colored eyes.
Alexiel was surprised, but didn't say anything at first, she was curious about this child.
She nodded, and then laughed, "Just because a new method of summoning someone comes up with, and they have a slight God complex." she then realized that he has not once called her by name, "By the way, I am called Fuyuji, but you may call me Fuji, it is easier for many to say." She then laughed, "Easy their cowboy, you are going to have to be patient, you still need to recover from your injuries."
Her ace monster's aura still clung to her like a second skin. She grinned evily, sure those two looked similar to herself, except that she had dark red hair, and her eyes were black. However she was still wearing a cloak so he couldn't see her facial features.

The boy let out a childishly shy smile. "People call me Odd-Eyes, due to the fact that I have dichromatic eyes." He paused. "Also, I get my name from my best card. Here, I'll show him to you." Odd-Eyes took his deck out of the holder he kept on is waist. After flicking through the cards, he held one out for the others to see. "This is my most precious card, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon." The card seemed to have an energy, an aura about it. It was also a card like none Tsunami had seen before. "That's an odd looking card," he said. The boy smiled a little more widely. "This is what's known as a pendulum card. Its a special summoning method I created." Tsunami did a double take. A method someone invented? That sounded a bit like cheating, but then, he had a lot to learn when it came to Duel Monsters. Now that Odd-Eyes had the desired effect on the conversation he wanted he put the card back into his deck. "So, now that we are friends, what are you all doing here?" That feeling of pure hatred still lingered in Tsunami like an echo. Was this boy the source of the feeling?
In Syncro:
Metro snorted. "The only way to win is to hit someone hard and hit them fast. He got up from the bed, then immediately fell to the floor, curled up in pain.

Fuyuko then seemed surprised at first, she felt a strange presence in the Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. "Fuyuko, you should be wary of this boy. Something is strange about his aura, please, keep careful." It was Huang Long that appeared as a spirit.
Fuyuko nodded and whispered softly, "I understand, thank you Huang Long."
Fuyu couldn't help but come close to the young child, "Well your eyes are definitely different colors. That is true."
Fuyuko then wondered, "I've heard of Pendulum summoning, it is a method of allowing someone to summon multiple monsters in one turn. However there is a limited by the numbers, for example, if you have two cards, one says 1 and the other 8, it allows you to summon any level 2-7 monsters at the same time." Alexiel then wondered how Fuyuko seemed to know about it, "Before Takashin was turned into a card by Fusion users, he spoke of someone that he dueled with that used Pendulum summoning."
Fuyu answered Odd-Eyes' question, "We're here because we are trying to stay out of the sight of the fusion users, although myself I do not know much about them." running her fingers through her silvery hair.
Fuyuji then sighed, and then helped Metro back into his bed, "It will do you no good if you keep falling out of bed, and can't even stand on your two feet." Fuyuji then laughed slightly, "Though, your rage is a welcome sight to see." She stared at Metro through her hood, hiding her black eyes.

The small boy looked around the slightly cramped room. "How about this," he said with a calm, inocent voice. "Why don't we play a game of Duel Monsters? You know, to pass some of the time." Tsunami smiled at the offer. After all, it was through the game that he made the friends he had. It was also how he grew close to his father. He clenched the necklace from his father in one of his hands, his mind thinking of his father. Him at home, with his mother. All of them sitting down to a home cooked dinner. And about those times at sea, the waves crashing against the hull of the boat that his father took him out on. With a nod to himself, he agreed to the game. What was the worst that could happen? He could lose again. That wouldn't matter, seeing as this was a friendly game. Nothing on the line, no lives at stake. Odd-Eyes looked to Fuyu and Fuyuko. "Why don't you join us in our game? The more the marrier." The girls agreed, but Fuyuko did so hesetantly. Something was amiss. The air was sharged with some form of static, or so it felt. The smaller boy cleared a space on the ground for them to play in, then sitting on the ground himself. Tsunami followed his example, as well as the girls. Odd-Eyes spoke. "We can do a 3 on 1 match. That O.K.?" Tsunami could not believe his ears. This boy was so confident in his deck, he was willing to take on three people at once? "To make things fair, I'll take a turn after each of you. First is Tsunami, then me, Fuyu, me, Fuyuko, then me again, then back to Tsunami." It made sense to Tsunami, so he agreed to that condition, with the females following suite. "Since there isn't much space, why don't we just play on the floor, instead of using Duel-Disks?" The group shuffled their cards in preparation for the game. After each deck was cut, everyone drew their first hands. Tsunami was just getting ready to play his first card, his staratagy planned out, when Odd-Eyes stopped him. "Since this is a group duel, you get to draw on your first turn." Tsunami looked at the boy, then drew his card. "Thanks." Once again, he went to play his first card, when Odd-Eyes stopped him once again. "I want to guess what card you are about to play." Tsunami was confused about this. What was the point? He was about to see it in a second. Besides, Odd-Eyes has no way of knowing what kind of deck he was using, let alone what card he was about to play. However, the Water-Duelist looked at the boy, waiting for his guess. "Let me see..." Odd-Eyes stared off into space for a moment, his multi-collored eyes becoming unfocused. When Odd-Eyes pulled himself back to reality, he had a smile on his face. "The card you are about to play is..." He paused for a dramatic affect. "Neptabyss, the Atlantean Prince. Right? Am I right?" Tsunami looked at the card in his hand, he knew what it was, but he wanted to be sure. But there was no mistaking it. There was the young prince, looking back at him. He lowered the card, playing it on his side of the field. The girls each gasped in surprise. Out of all the cards in Duel Monsters, how could this kid know the VERY card in a players hand? Tsunami used his princes effect and continued with his turn, slightly shaken up by the accurate guess. "Relax," he told himself. "He probably caught a glimpse of the card as I was playing it, and wanted to act like he was a psychic." With that reasoning in mind, he played his final card for the turn, and passed it off to Odd-Eyes. The boy drew his card for the turn, smiling widely. "I'm about to play a very...unique card. One none of you have ever seen before." A pause. "The card I choose to play is, The Seal of Oricalchos!" He played the card in its proper spot on the field. Then, the static that you could almost feel in the air started to crack and sizzle. A light started to shine off of the card. An eary, pale green glow. Odd-Eyes watched the trio. Revaling in the shock that was on each of their faces. "This!" the boy said, "Is the ultimate game. A Shadow Game!" Soon, the light faded, but the glow stayed. Slowly, the seal depicted on the card started to grow, encircling the group of duelists. Fully enclosed in the seal, a dark cloud then rose from the edge of the seal, forming a foggy canopy. "How...how is this possible?" Tsunami voiced what he was sure the others were thinking. There was no solid vision system active in this duel. What was making the seal? What was making the smoke? The air become thicker, full of dark energy, and hatred, and hunger, hunger for...their lives. This smoke...it...it wanted them...dead! Tsunami watched at the smoke completed its covering over them. "Its over!" Odd-Eyes let out an evil cackle. One that someone who looked that young should not have been able to produce. Now the darkness was pressing against the duelists. Breathing became hard, and the trio became lightheaded. Tsunami fought to maintain his consciousness, fighting a losing batle to stay awake. "What is this?" one person voiced. Another asked, "What's going on?" Then, the Shadow Game became too much, and one member of the trio dropped one after the other, each becoming unconscious. The smaller boy stood, brushing soot and dust from his clothes. "That," he said to himself, "never gets old." He went to Tsunami first, reaching for his deck and cards.

When Fuyuko saw the card that Odd-Eyes had played, 'Fuyuko-chan, watch yourself!' She then heard Huang Long say, however when the Oricalchos card was played, Fuyuko attempted to try and stay awake, however when she got too lightheaded, she was forced to fall into the realm of unconsciousness.
Fuyu felt similar affects that everyone else was, "What..is this..." she then fell to the realm of unconsciousness.
While unconscious, Fuyuko was exploring the darkness.
