ALWAYS RECRUITING!
Thomas Everin, a renowned scientist, has created a new device. Through the study of Hoopa’s rings and the aid of over a hundred Psychic Pokemon and fellow researchers, the Ring Watch has been created. Seeking to test its capabilities, the scientist awarded several professors and other individuals of note to hand the few machines to new people looking to explore the world. Rangers, Trainers, Breeders, Nurses and Doctors, Holon Researchers, even Warlords and Burst Warriors. Pure luck has led you to be the randomly selected participant in the study.
These unique watches allow you to connect to your hometown of origin, instantly transporting there with a simple command. Additionally, when another watch comes online, you are immediately connected with its wearer, learning everything there is to know about them. With but a command you can instantly teleport to their location. Stations have been set up in every city and town in all the regions, allowing you to connect to the as soon as you reach them. One connected in this way, you can transport to them as well.

Each character chooses one Basic Path.
Breeder – Breeders are always looking to care for Pokemon in every way possible, and make up a lot of Pokemon oriented professions. Their main skill, however, is breeding Pokemon. As a Breeder, Pokemon eggs in your care hatch twice as fast, and you will always know which Pokemon will hatch from an egg just by studying it for a few minutes. Additionally, you know how to make Pokemon food from ingredients found in the wilderness, and Pokemon you care for will produce offspring even if not in a Daycare Center.

Using these Bursts and spending time in these forms allows the contained Pokemon to level and evolve like normal, but they never leave the Burst Heart unless it is broken. They are allowed to capture Pokemon in Burst Hearts anywhere, because the Pokemon will live in peace and comfort for as long as it is in the gem.

Playing the Game
This part is actually really simple. It functions just like your normal everyday Pokemon roleplay. You go about your journey as normal, except now you can teleport to any location you have unlocked, or to any other player in the game. The RP is self-paced. That means that the GM does not give you story or plot hooks. That is all on you. You can post as much as you want, without any order, and without waiting on anyone else.
There are a few rules, though. You can only catch one Pokemon per day, and you can never catch a Legendary Pokemon unless it is from an event set up by the GM. I only ask for some realism. For the most part. Some interpretation exists. I mean, a ten year old stopped Team Rocket twice. You won’t be dismantling any Teams in this RP though. That would make them unplayable for other players, and we don’t want that. I will be playing also, with my own character. And occasionally, I will pop in with an event of some sort. I will also answer any questions directed at me. And, for the final bit of information, your Pokemon may never gain more than 1 Level per day. And that’s as simple as it gets, really. (I reserve the right to add or remove rules as needed.)
You can have up to three characters.
Boost Pokemon - A Boost Pokemon has a special affinity for a certain type. Its resistance to this type improves by one step, and each of its attacks benefit from STAB as though the Pokemon were the same type (+50% Damage).
Brawny Pokemon – Brawny Pokemon have a little more HP than other Pokemon of their kind.
Break Pokemon - A Break Pokemon can know up to 6 moves, rather than just 4.
Dark Pokemon - Dark Pokemon have very negative personalities, enjoying suffering and destruction. They learn Physical and Special moves each 1 Level earlier than normal, but learn Other moves 2 Levels later than normal. They usually appear darker in color than normal.
Daring Pokemon – Daring Pokemon have a little more Attack and a little less defense than other Pokemon of their kind.
Delta Species Pokemon - Delta Species Pokemon come from Holon, where their genes have been manipulated so much that they are not the normal type for their species. They can only be found in Holon. (PM me if you gain one of these.)
Dodgy Pokemon – Dodgy Pokemon are just a little more evasive than other Pokemon of their kind.
Giant Pokemon - Giant Pokemon tend to be about twice the size and four times the weight as normal for their species. They have higher HP, Attack, and Defense, but lower Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed.
Hardy Pokemon – Hardy Pokemon have a little more Defense than other Pokemon of their kind.
Healthy Pokemon – Healthy Pokemon regain hit points naturally over time.
Heroic Pokemon – Any move a Heroic Pokemon uses has a little more Power than normal for that move.
Macho Pokemon – A Macho Pokemon is more powerful when it battles with allies.
Mighty Pokemon – A Mighty Pokemon cannot be switched out by its opponents’ attacks.
Light Pokemon - Light Pokemon have very positive emotions, enjoying caring for and protecting others. They learn Physical and Special moves each 1 Level later than normal, but learn Other moves 2 Levels earlier than normal. They usually appear lighter in color than normal.
Pink Pokemon - Pink Pokemon are rare Pokemon that are only on a single island, and they become this color because of the native berry that grows there. The island is restricted to everyone, even trainers.
Punchy Pokemon – Punchy Pokemon have a little more Attack than other Pokemon of their kind.
Rally Pokemon – A Rally Pokemon makes allies more powerful when it battles with them.
Savvy Pokemon – Savvy Pokemon have a little more Special Attack than other Pokemon of their kind.
Shadow Pokemon - Shadow Pokemon have had their hearts closed artificially, and are cold and prone to fits of rage. Many know shadow moves, a type that is super effective against every other type. They can only be found in Orre. (PM me if you gain one of these.)
Shiny Pokemon - Shiny Pokemon are oddly colored Pokemon that are sought after for their rarity, but it offers no benefits or penalties.
Skittish Pokemon – Skittish Pokemon deal half as much damage when not at full HP.
Small Pokemon - Small Pokemon tend to be about half the size and a third the weight as normal for their species. They have higher Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed, but lower HP, Attack, and Defense.
