Still recruiting; we have room for 2 more characters!

Synopsis
March 1949 - Scotland

Just off the north coast of Scotland lies the small isle of Brłn. Covered by a dense forest and split in half by a creek, the isle's only village - Brłnswick - populates a whopping 15 people. Three miles further, past the creek and in the heart of the forest, lies an old, nearly abandoned manor: Black Creek Manor. After centuries of noblemen, only the eccentric old groundkeeper remains in the estate. Nobody ever really pays attention to the old decaying manor.

Until a mysterious ad shows up in a couple of local newspapers on the mainland of Scotland:

30.000 POUND REWARD FOR BRAVE SOULS
Sir William McChonnigh offers a prize pool of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds)
to be distributed among contestants who manage to inhabit
Black Creek Manor situated on Brłn Isle for 7 days without leaving the premises.
Please contact your local post office to receive a registration form.

A group of curious Scots flock to the isle, hungry for a portion of the hefty reward - how hard could it be, anyway? But upon arriving at the manor, they may receive more of a challenge than they bargained for...

Room descriptions
Guest room (2nd floor)
"There was a large four-poster bed at the far end, pushed against pale grey walls. They were covered by patterned quilts, almost like embroidery.
It was nothing superbly fancy, but it looked enticing anyway, with its deep purple rug and a dark chestnut wardrobe to one side. There was a mirror on a small dresser on the other side of the room, as she trailed her finger across the deep engravings, dust sprinkled lazily to the ground. It obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time." - Namine_600

North-western bedroom with curved walls and on-suite bathroom and closet (2nd floor)
Clickity click (http://s577.photobucket.com/user/Beki_Beaulieu/media/image_zpsrsypd0ee.jpeg.html) - The Texan Queen
"The old-fashioned four-poster was the centerpiece. [...] The chintsy chairs, ornate mirrors and hangings were, he calculated, worth a small fortune." - Sy23

Sitting room (2nd floor)
"velvet sofas" - Cassiopeia

Parlor (2nd floor)
"dark wallpaper" - Cassiopeia

Play room (2nd floor)
"The next room's door they tried opened with an eerie creek; as a soft breeze blew through the room from a crack in the window to the door, a small wooden children's horse rocked back and forth." - Cassiopeia

Servants' room (2nd floor)
"It was small and barely decorated; it was clear no passion had gone into the design of this room and was only suited for mere servants. [...] the beds in this room were just steel frames" - Cassiopeia

Love good Horror RP's and this one already looks awesome!

Such a unique RP should have no problems finding roleplayers, however if you want more advertising or feel like having it be advertised well there are plenty of ways you can do that!

One of the best ways to have more people see your roleplay it to submit your roleplay for Roleplay of the Week (http://role-player.net/forum/showthread.php?t=59571)! If chosen your RP will be put on our home page for everyone to see and read about as well as having a custom banner with it! If you need a custom banner made, well no worries because RPA has it's very own Roleplay of the Week, banner shop (http://role-player.net/forum/showthread.php?t=79546), where you can request a banner to be made for your submission. From there one of the many beautiful artists we have in the banner shop will then make you something epic and beautiful!

I know you've already requested the staff to put it in our signature, which we will do shortly! Thank you for posting about it and letting us know that you did. Signatures do help find more players (http://role-player.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3975).

We also have one more way to help gather more interest. Please make a post in the Roleplay Games Directory (http://role-player.net/forum/showthread.php?t=40645), that has a brief summary about your RP. All kinds of people go through there and see things that they never thought they would be interested in! It's a great way to get a more diverse group of role-players, especially new people.

As well If you ever have any questions, don't be afraid to ask me or another staff member as we will be happy to answer them. Good luck on your horror adventure!

I had a few questions. Do our characters have to be Scottish? How often do you plan for people to post, and how long of posts would be expected. Do characters have to fall in a male/female binary? I'm going to assume everything is following the real history of our world or is there any alternate history or information about the world we'd need to know?

They have to be in the area at the time the ad appears in local newspapers, but they don't have to be Scottish; they can be immigrants or just passing through. Just make sure they have a good reason to be in Scotland at that time =)

I'm not yet very familiar with the frequency with which people generally post here, so I'm not completely sure of the answer. I don't expect to set a maximum frequency though unless it gets really crazy and people post every 5 minutes (lol as if). Sorry, I really don't know the answer :P

As for post-length, I'd like to encourage posts of about 2 or 3 paragraphs. I'm fine with longer (happy even), not really down for shorter (unless the situation in the plot calls for a quick and short response).

No, characters aren't required per se to fall in the gender binary, but we do follow a semi-realistic history (semi-realistic because there will be supernatural forces involved). According to my quick Google search the first awarenessgroups for transgenders started emerging in the 1950s, so at the point of the RP (1949) they are still fairly unknown/unaccepted but at the point of being accepted. Sir McChonnigh wouldn't mind though - I can imagine the character will have to have hidden his/her genderfluidity from society and might feel more comfortable in the manor, but might raise a few eyebrows of the other residents.

Further info is that Brłn and Brłnswick are fictional, but similar to every other real existing isle in Scotland. So no extraordinarily different landscapes or climate on the Isle of Brłn. The exact history of the island, village and manor will be explained more in detail in the RP itself, but for all the contestants know Brłn is just another isle like the others.

Hope this answers some of your questions =)

If i made a trans character I was expecting they wouldn't really be accepted or have the modern terminology, as well on a form they'd not mention they are trans but I guess in general I should have just asked if the sheet has to contain information a character would like to keep secret or if they could keep such details off the sheet. Or is the sheet just out of character and not something that would essentially be "Turned in" ?

Yep it answers my questions. I might start to work on a character soon.

It's OOC; I just made it IC to try and be edgy and original lol ;P Thanks though for the questions, I wouldn't have thought about it that way haha. I'll edit some clarification into the OP! Very excited to see your character!

EDIT: let me just quickly correct myself, I think it'd be best to keep the form IC but put OOC comments (like secrets) in the comment section, because there will most likely be some feedback on the registration form IC. Sorry for my lack of thinking that through hahaha. Once again, good questions raised! ;P

Alright, and thanks for the clarification. Also it's ok I can't even count how many clarifications I've had to put in my RP's or things I missed in how they come off. I think that happens with basically every RP that gets posted.

Comments: (please provide any and all OOC information you would like to inform the GM and not Sir McChonnigh of in this section)
Kateryna is bisexual, and feels attraction to both women and men, only with more of a preference for women. She also comes across as cold hearted and at times harsh due to her inability to trust many people.

She arrived in Scotland during her travels, and heard from the locals about the Black Creek Manor. She became interested

The contestant is expected to arrive at Brłnswick Port where they will be provided with transportation to Black Creek Manor.

By signing this form, the contestant agrees that Black Creek Manor and the family of McChonnigh is not liable in the incident of injuries or fatalities.

@Namine thank yoouu ^_^ Love the character so far, her coldness should yield some interesting interactions.

My own character:

This form is to certify that Alan Byrne will inhabit Black Creek Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex: M
Age: 24
Occupation: worker at a medical equipment factory

Personality: a hard-working young chap with a sharp mind and eager to prove his worth to the world. Socially not very skilled, but intelligent enough to compensate for it.
Bio: Served in the Military Training Act in 1945 for 6 months as part of the military conscription. Never sent to the battlefront, for the war had ended by the time training had ended. Unwed. Loyal worker at a medical equipment company for 3 years now.
Appearance: 5'11 height. Caucasian, dark blonde hair. Blue eyes. Wears round glasses and mostly suits, apart from worker's uniform.

http://i.imgur.com/ZDzQwoG.jpg

Comments: During his time at the medical company, Alan has picked up on a fascination for the afterlife. In his sparetime he works on his own inventions and machinery to either prove or disprove the existence of ghosts. Alan is an enthusiastic sceptic: his head says there is no life after death, but his heart wishes it so. The ad interested him because not only would he have a chance of winning money to fund his own company, he also heard Black Creek Manor is heavily haunted - and he intends to put his instruments to the test.

The contestant is expected to arrive at Brłnswick Port where they will be provided with transportation to Black Creek Manor.

By signing this form, the contestant agrees that Black Creek Manor and the family of McChonnigh is not liable in the incident of injuries or fatalities.

Signed,

This form is to certify that Robert Phillip Croft will inhabit Black Creek Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex:
m
Age:
over 21! Will say no more.
Occupation:
Adventurer (Uses the euphemism "Consultant")

Personality: (please provide a short description of your character traits)
Wise cracking, cynical, smartassed, flirtacious. More than a touch of the larcenous. Selfish, but with a strange hidden core of chivalry. Polite, unless offended.

Bio: (please provide a short description of your history)
Born somewhere in the slums of London. Has worked as at many professions, but as a habitual liar it is hard to know which one of his claimed qualifications are invented. He certainly can display many abilities usually associated with the criminal classes, but a trawl of international police files will find them curiosuoly devoid of information.

Appearance:

Comments: (please provide any and all OOC information you would like to inform the GM and not Sir McChonnigh of in this section) The name given isn't his real one. He will cheat, in fact do anything to win out in this enterprise. Surprisingly, he is NOT a sceptic as far as occult phenomenon goes, though he will loudly proclaim the reverse publicly.

I have a quick question (presuming my character is accepted) - do we have to regard Kateryna the way mainstream people would have done in the late 40s, ie with some suspicion and distaste in varying degree, or can we break period enough to treat her with a reasonable amount of acceptance and respect. It's just I feel kind of uncomfortable being homophobic even IC...

Tolvo
03-09-2016, 03:40 PM
Well is your character of mainstream opinions? Or would you rather they were more progressive for the time? I'd say go more progressive if you are uncomfortable with trying to play a homophobic character, and in either case avoid slurs(I'd appreciate if slurs were avoided, as a queer person myself).

Yeah, this actually. I'd appreciate historical correctness but value companionship (even if the initial homophobia is IC and not the same as your own opinions) moreso within the RP and here in the topic :) I'm fine with hesitation at first, but if it's possible for characters to be more progressive that would be best.

EDIT: sorry lol forgot to even respond to your character sheet. Definitely accepted! Curious to see the photo :)

This form is to certify that Edgar III Brunworth will inhabit Black Creek Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex: (M)
Age: 21
Occupation: Philanthropist

Personality: Let me tell you all about myself. I'm a hard worker, strapping lad, and rather chivalrous man. As well I have a great head on my shoulders. I'll have you know that I've put myself in harm's way to help others countless times. I practically breath generosity and care for my fellow people. Some people say I'm a pompous greedy jerk who is only around to take advantage of others. This isn't the case! I'm a true red white and blue capitalist! There is no one more trustworthy than I. On top of it I don't have any vices, I'm quite a virtuous man!
Bio: As a young boy I was raised on the Brunworth estate by my parents and many servants. Life was not always easy on the estate and as such my parents were rigorous in disciplining me and teaching me. I was home schooled but my father is a well established jeweler and a man of science. Unfortunately during the war I was too young to participate but I'll have you know we did support the war efforts financially to send the krauts packing. I personally hosted a charity drive for just such an occasion which turned out to be a rousing success. As an adult I've become a philanthropist where I use my generosity to improve the lives of others. In fact one enterprise I'm currently linked with is Hadacol, maybe you've heard of it. As well I'm thinking of investing in another surefire gem called Paregoric. A medicine that'll cure so many problems! Currently I'm spending my vacation in Scotland taking in the sights and deciding if there is any land I wish to purchase.
Appearance: Tall, broad shouldered, handsome, with adorable dimples. Short straight blond hair, blue eyes, a deep tan, respectably large muscles. Long nice legs that go on till the end of days. Typically I wear a double breasted blue suit pants, light teal suit jacket, beneath that a white sweater vest over a dress shirt and tucked polka dot red bow tie. Two tone white and brown leather shoes. And to top it off a gray fedora I tend to wear when the heat's not too bad. While you may not see them I always wear a pair of dark blue and navy blue diamond pattern argyle socks held up by sock garters.

Comments: Edgar likes to brandish being an American but this is because of his paranoia about how people will react about his German heritage. Being born in the USA he doesn't have an accent but over compensates. He is addicted to opium and regularly drinks, on top of having a habit of gambling.

The contestant is expected to arrive at Brłnswick Port where they will be provided with transportation to Black Creek Manor.

By signing this form, the contestant agrees that Black Creek Manor and the family of McChonnigh is not liable in the incident of injuries or fatalities.

Signed,

Tolvo, thinking it over, I am of the opinion that a guy who has mixed with the underworld as much as Robert, and been around so much would probably not have the typical mid-20th century feelings. I could probably have him able to accept gay and lesbian people without breaking realism. So yeah, all's good.

EDIT: Here she is!

This form is to certify that Amelia Renee Gilbert will inhabit Black Creek Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex: Female

Age: 24

Occupation: News Reporter

Personality: Amelia has always been a curious girl, she can still hear her mother saying ‘curiosity killed the cat’ in her head whenever she begins to dig into something. She tends to flirt and play around a little too much, she doesn’t really know where the line has been drawn with some people. Her smile never seems to fade and she always minds her manners, but she can get a little spicy at times if you get enough whiskey in her or poke at her too much.

Bio: Amelia grew up in a wealthy family. Her father a retired officer and now a well-known business man he kept the money coming in and food on the plate. Her mother was a dancer in her younger years and then turned to modeling, but that didn’t last long when she met her now husband. Amelia’s family is a pillar in their community and looked upon by many for guidance, especially now that her mother is running for Mayor. She went to a private school all her life, went to church every Sunday and did everything her parents expected of her. The only thing she didn’t do that her parents so wished she would was to marry young and settle with children. That’s not the life she wanted so she went off to school to study journalism and came out the top of her class with a job offer the da she graduated. Amelia has been working as a News Reporter for quite some time now and her face is being recognized in the city she reports on.

If it isn't too late, I'd like to join. :D

This form is to certify that Bonnie Ceallach will inhabit Black Creek Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex: Female
Age: 25
Occupation: Starving artist

Personality: I am what others have called eccentric. I have, admittedly, peculiar interests and tend to enjoy privacy. I am also known to scribble and sketch while talking to people. It isn't to be rude, I just don't want leave any ideas that might pop into my head unexplored.
Bio: I have lived in small fishing towns up and down the coast of Scotland since I moved out of my parents' home at 18, usually moving because I've run out of funds or worn out my welcome. I have, on occasion, fished to supplement my income as well as tried my hand at baking. I'm not too bad at it. However, I hope that this opportunity may grant me more permanent lodgings and allow me to do what I love best.
Appearance:

Comments: Bonnie, although odd, is a kind spirit. Her anxieties and assortment of OCD rituals make it hard for her to fit in, but she dearly wants to.

The contestant is expected to arrive at Brłnswick Port where they will be provided with transportation to Black Creek Manor.

This form is to certify that Hope Evans will inhabit Black Creek Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex: F
Age: 22
Occupation: nurse

Personality: I'm a naturally caring soul. I am usually very calm and hard to anger. I despise liars and cheats.
Bio: I've been a nurse since I was 16 at the Glasgow hospital, and have tended to many wounded soldiers. I have now moved back to Elgin to care for my disabled father next to my nursing work at the local hospital.
Appearance: 5'3", fair haired, blue eyes.

http://images.fineartamerica.com/images-medium-large/1-carole-landis-ca-early-mid-1940s-everett.jpg

Comments: the war has scarred the young Hope. Her fiancée was killed in battle when she was 17 - he was only 23 - and her father was left disabled, for whom she is now caring, since her mother died when she was younger. Her little sister Erin will care for her father while Hope goes to Black Creek Manor. She's in it for the prizemoney - she hopes to muster up enough money to offer herself and her father a better life. Hope was raised Catholic, but since she saw the monstrosity of men during the war, she's lost her faith.

The contestant is expected to arrive at Brłnswick Port where they will be provided with transportation to Black Creek Manor.

By signing this form, the contestant agrees that Black Creek Manor and the family of McChonnigh is not liable in the incident of injuries or fatalities.

I'm sorry to say but I think I'll have to drop out of the RP. I'm not as used to RP'ing during stories set in this time period and my lack of knowledge is really hindering me. This form is to certify that Willa Roxbury will inhabit Black Creek Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex: M / ( F )
Age: 23
Occupation: None

Personality: Confident, competitive, loving and nurturing, protective of friends, independent and outspoken.
Bio: The only daughter of Lord Rexford Roxbury, my two older brothers are bound for law school and the House of Lords in parliament, it is my priviledge to follow in my mother’s footsteps as a philanthropist and socialite. My family and several of my friends with their families were in Glasgow in the interest of business and politics when this advertisement was published, and our interest was piqued.
Appearance: See attatched

http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk132/HimitsuDesu_/willa2_zpshciji0ou.jpg

Comments: Ruled by insecurities, often haughty and confident to compensate; reguarded as knowledgeable and intelligent, but seldom leaves success to chance, or her own talents, and has been known to sabotage her competition. Willa has entered this competition as a dare from her socialite friends and is here quite begrudgingly, apparently with something to prove - though she won't admit it even to herself. “Well, they may have the title, but Roxbury will have to win a sum like that to pad her dowry,” she’d overheard. Later was when the wager was made. Also, she's English.

Only Robert and Willa (who has yet to arrive) will need to pick a room! :) I'll update as soon as they've settled in ;)

Room descriptions so far:

Don't worry about being too strict about it all, I just like having an overview :)

Yep, the ladies currently outnumber the guys, so I'd prefer a man, to keep it a bit balanced :) And the year is indeed 1949. For reference, all the relevant info can be found in the OP of both the OOC topic and the IC topic. You can find all the contestants and the links to their forms there; you can read up a bit on the different types and perhaps conjure up a personality that might suit the group - or terribly conflict, of course, for drama purposes.

@rabbit a wrapping room is just and silly as it sounds; it's a room entirely dedicated to wrapping gifts. Apparently they had so many gifts to give in the olden days it needed its own room. I thought it would be a fun additiom to the manor ;p I remember the wrapping room im Chateau Versailles wast just some chairs, sofas and a table, but it's now of course a museum and no actual wrapping tools were visible. I can imagine there being some scissord around and vintage paper on rolls or racks; otherwise its just similar to a lounge of some sort.

Hi all, here I am again. Sorry for the bit of radiosilence on my part; on top of the deadlines I was already facing, I'm currently facing a divorce, so my mind's in a bit of a different place right now. I just wanted to let you all know that please DO continue posting, because I really enjoy reading up on the RP and can definitely use a bit of distraction!

I myself am unsure when I'll be able to post again though, mainly because of the silly practical reason I won't be able to use my computer after I walk out and stay at with my family for the time being. It might be I have access to a computer in a couple of days, it might be longer. I just really don't know right now.

With that said, I wanted to just let you know how to continue on without me for now, without me disrupting the flow; Alan's inside his room nice and quiet on his own, fiddling with his machinery, so he's good to wait out the night until I return. Hope's now standing in the hallway, planning to cook some dinner with Bonnie; it's fine if you control Hope a little bit like an NPC for the time being; just have her passively cook up something or send her to bed with a headache, or I don't know. Don't do anything weird or out of character, of course, but she's fine to be a passive character for now ;P

For the rest it's free game, there's no need to wait around on GM posts; the ONLY thing to keep in mind, is that the basement is ABSOLUTELY off limits; rest assured that no character will be physically able to break down the doors for now.

That's all for now... please rest assured that I will be back ASAP and have no intentions whatsoever of quitting or blowing the whole thing off, so please just carry on like nothing happened <3

(Hello everyone! I'm new here but hopefully my experiences with writing and roleplaying with my friend will help me catch on quick)

This form is to certify that Johnathon Mark will inhabit*Black*Creek*Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex:*(M)/F
Age: 20
Occupation: None

Personality:*Obsessive, sadistic, gambler, uses his velvety voice and good looks to his advantage, a surprisingly good singer (may bellow out a tune at random), his few weaknesses are his love for chocolate and crippling fear of owls.
Bio:*Johnathon lived in an abusive household until he ran away at the age of 16. He spent the rest of his days begging and singing for his supper. However, one day he was so hungry, he killed and ate a lamb from a rich man. The rich man, being so greedy and not caring about poor Johnathon, he chased him down then threw him into the sea. Everyone thought him dead, but Johnathon stowed away on a ship to Scotland. What’s a poor, supposedly dead, man supposed to do? Mayhap’s Johnathon’s luck will turn around with this contest.
Appearance:*http://images-cdn.moviepilot.com/image/upload/c_limit,h_432,t_mp_quality,w_768/macabre-mementos-8-insanely-creepy-souvenirs-serial-killers-kept-to-remember-their-victims-311155.jpg
Comments:*Real name: Thomas Taggert. (currently using the alias of a deadman, and is four years older than he says, perhaps a newspaper with a picture might blow his cover?)
Real bio: Johnathon was raised in a poor, but caring household in the US. Due to him being sick for most of his childhood, he rarely worked a day in his life, focusing on getting others to do his bidding rather than doing it himself. Unfortunately, this made him become very entitled, enough for his eldest brother to eventually kick him out at the age of 16. Since then, he sang, gambled and stole his way through life, until getting caught in an affair with an affluent and prominent woman. In order to escape the vengeful husband, Richard Black, he set fire to the house, killing the man’s wife and children. Johnathon soon stowed away on a ship to Scotland. However, Richard is using his money for all it’s worth to track down Johnathon, and bring him back—dead or alive. Johnathon figures that this is only shot to get enough money to escape from the man he wronged. He will do anything to win the contest—even if he has to kill again. Will Johnathon make it out of the manor alive, or will karma get to him first?
(If there is anything that I need to change or any suggestions for a newcomer I would be very grateful)

The contestant is expected to arrive at Brłnswick Port where they will be provided with transportation to*Black*Creek*Manor.

Coming here to Scotland? Visiting old family. Old friends. When I saw this ad in the paper I knew there was a catch. Just seven days in a house? Had to be a catch. Even I can stay in one place for a week. But you know what? It sounds risky. Sounds like a gamble. And I like taking chances.

Appearance: Generally I just wear a collared shirt, a jacket, and slacks. When I go out I don a trench coat. For more important occasions I break out the suit. I have six ties. All striped. Brown hair, brown eyes. Comb my hair every morning.

Comments: Jack is currently running from debt collectors. He keeps a Colt handy in his jacket in case they catch up.

The contestant is expected to arrive at Brłnswick Port where they will be provided with transportation to Black Creek Manor.

By signing this form, the contestant agrees that Black Creek Manor and the family of McChonnigh is not liable in the incident of injuries or fatalities.

Hey y'all!!

I am so sorry for disappearing for awhile!! I had two friends that were moving last week and I am the only one with a truck, so of course I was roped into helping! Life has settled back down, I'm no longer sick or helping people move lol. I have a few RP's to catch up on but I WILL have a post soon. I'm making my way through posting and reading tonight but the latest I'll have a post up will be Wednesday :)

I should have a post up soon, but it'll probably be short. I'm exhausted lately and wouldn't mind holding out for a GM post for this game, either.

I'm still around though!

That's actually a good idea. I don't want to post anything too far out of what Cass has in mind for the movement of the RP.

This form is to certify that Jason Vorhes will inhabit Black Creek Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex: (M)/F (please circle the relevant option)
Age: 23
Occupation: Law Student

Personality: A studious young man, who finds great joy in observing the details of any work of art he sees, any novel he reads, any piece of music he hears, and every characteristic of the people he meets. Is very much glad to be taking a break from law school, and hopes that winning this little competition will help finance his schooling. Often tries to mediate between others even when he has not been asked to.
Bio: Jason Vorhes was the son of poor carpenter from Bavaria and a middle-class woman in London who met by chance on a train through Eastern Europe. They were assigned to the same car and began talking. By the end of the week long trip they had fallen madly in love, and immediately rushed back to Bavaria to inform his family. They were ecstatic that their son had finally found love after years of bachelorhood, and gave their blessing though they could not afford a proper dowry. The Anglo-Saxon woman found her own family less than appreciative of the union they proposed, but respected their daughter's decision as she was an adult. It also helped that they could appreciate that Mr. Vorhes was a hard worker, with a dedicated profession that would never run out of work. Instead of a dowry, they purchased a shop for them which included an upstairs bedroom, and encouraged Mr. Vorhes to take up his profession there. The couple accepted, and were married a week later. Their son was born less than a year after the wedding, but was plagued for the first five years of his life with many illnesses. His parents were both devout, and prayed night and day for their son to be cured of his afflictions. Fate seemed to twist their wish and desire for the bitter, as the night that Jason was miraculously declared cured of his ailments, that his parents were killed in a freak carriage accident. Jason was raised by his grandparents, who worked hard to make up the tragedies of the boy's young life as best they could. He was found with an admirable talent for schoolwork, particularly in writing and reading, and was noted as a prodigious peacemaker amongst his class mates. When he reached 18 years, his grandparents enrolled him in college, which he graduated from four years later. In the past year he has worked hard in a Scottish law school, but student loans have kept him from enjoying the experience even as he enjoyed and thrived on the material. With his bar exam on the line, he enrolled in the advertised contest of wills immediately at Black Creek Manor in Brunswick.

This form is to certify that Tsuno Tasukashi will inhabit Black Creek Manor, Brłn, for 7 days. The contestant will share the prize of £30.000 (thirty-thousand pounds) among any and all contestants who remain on the premises for 7 days.

Sex: (M)/F (please circle the relevant option)
Age:18
Occupation:College Student

Personality: I never had been the strong one nor the attractive one. Being a smartass and all, yet I’m pursuing for more knowledge. I only dear my older sister whom we became separated due to some “psychopathic” occurrence. Aside from that, I use people in different ways, resulting a win-win situation, but more win to me. My curiousness may be my one and only weakness yet satisfaction brought it back.

Bio: Tsuno lived with his family when he was 8. His family formed a father, a mother, and her precious older sister named Hana Tasukashi. Unfortunately, his parents were massacred by someone. They were separated by adoption, while Tsuno spend 8 years with his non-biological parents only to die by accident. The wealth transferred to him and spent his day alone in his deceased parents house.

2 more years later, Tsuno read in a local newspaper regarding 30,000 pounds reward for inhabiting Black Creek Manor. He decided to research it in boredom, but soon it interest him for a while so he decided to join.

Though it wasn’t for the money. It may be related to him, to both of his parents death, and his long-lost dearest older sister.

Appearance: 5 inches black haired man who wore his usual clothes of silky white shirt. He also wore a thin leather coat and black pants that keeps him warm at night. He had a two different eye colors: black on the left, and yellow on the right. Not a muscular nor a wimpy one, but he had a well-nutritious body that keeps him healthy.

Comments: He only loves his older sister. He believed that she is somehow connected to the Manor and doesn’t care at other people surrounding him. He would just pretend to care and be a kind one. One thing he didn’t know that his sister will also be one of the applicants, maybe during his stay or maybe after his death? Who knows?
