Xavier was in front of the school building wearing a long sleeve black shirt, black pants and black shoes that matched with his black and blue hair style. Though he stayed underneath a tree while the moon shined over the building. He noticed the new students arrived and was checking the place out. Learning their way around the school premises and finding where they're classes would be.

Xavier watched as the students were in awe and shock. He sighs as he laid his head on the tree bark. He raised his hand up and started poking and touching his fang. He was still learning of how to be a vampire since he was converted by his adopted parents. He was told he could live an immortal life, but there were still dangers of being a vampire. Silver, the sunlight, and even UV light. He played with his fang for a moment and looked around. He noticed someone was staring at him and couldn't help it and noticed it was his rival. He smirked and stood up from the ground and combed his hair through with his hand.

"Always keeping an eye on me huh?" He said softly. "Always somehow perverted."

As soon as he stepped into campus, his nose scrunched up in distaste. His steps were sound less as ever but the moment the new blood talked, his green eyes blazed with irritation. Shailoh huffed and crossed his arms, ignoring the looks they were receiving as he approached.

"You wish." He spat, already looking quite hostile. "You're the creeper who always waits for me here. Stalker much?" He questioned, giving him another glare before striding forward towards class, and expecting the other vampire to move.

"Well, it's not really my fault if you're late for class. Nor do I care." He huffed again, knowing that his day was already ruined. Unfortunately, they weren't allowed to attack each other physically or it would mean trouble.

Xavier smirked as he started to head to class, but didn't realize he was following his rival. "If I'm late for class...so are you." He said softly once again, following his foot steps. He didn't bother wondering where he was going. But as soon they reached the main building, he finally noticed. "It would seem you are going the wrong way, aren't the idiot classes that way?" He pointed at another direction.

When he reached his classroom, he groans as did his rival entered with him. "Don't tell me your in this class?" He asked when he turned around. "So who is the stalker now?" He asked with a smirked.

"Oh no, I'm going the right way, but I'm sure you aren't." He said haughtily, picking up his pace. The two of them entered the room at the same time, earning long stares from the entire class. Shailoh's brow twitched and he forced his snarl into a sweet smile, fangs glinting. "Last time I checked, you were the one stalking me."

It was obvious that they have the same classes for the entire year. The brunette bit his tongue in irritation when he noticed that the only free seats were the ones by the window, one at the second and the other at the third row. "As flattering as it is for you to want my attention, I don't have time for you Xavier." He said, trudging to the second row seat by the window.

"Who wants your time anyway?" He said back rudely and followed him behind to the seat. He sighs and groans as he took his seat at the third row. "If I had a box of silver maybe that will make you go away?" He smiled as he started tapping on his desk. He looked up to the clock and wondered when class will end? He thought it was going to take forever and he would be way old by then.

"Unlike you, I only stalk my prey...not my heart." He joked. He scoffed as he looked at his hair. "Maybe I ought to switch seats with someone, I'm sure they won't mind a dangy hair style such as yours...so curly." He gives a disgusted look. "Blah." He looked around the class room and placed his chin on the palm of his hand as he leans forward on his desk. He tore a piece of paper from his sketch book and rolled it into a small paper ball and flicked it at Shailoh's back head.

He tried his best to ignore the idiot, really. However once that wad of paper hit the back of his head. He snapped. Shailoh wasn't known for his patience. With a hiss, he stood up and glared at Xavier, an irritated snarl on his lips. "Are you trying to puss me off?" He asked, everything quieting down save for the sharp tone of his voice. His whisper was quiet, but it resounded in painful volumes, making a few female vampires burst into tears while others covered their bleeding ears.

"If ya wanna start a fight, I'll be more that willing to oblige showing wannabe scum such as yourself where you belong." Shailoh warned, getting into his space, hackles rising. At the corner of the room, red eyes stared at them, eyebrow raising delicately. It would be irritating if the two started a fight right now. It was too early.

Xavier snarled back as he stood from his seat and grew closer to Shailoh. With no teacher present at the time and it would seem the two was indeed ready for a fight. Xavier felt his fist ready to form as he felt the sound of his ear drum ringing. "How about I just throw you on the scorching sun so you can get a tan?!" Xavier replied back to his aggressive comment. He snarled and growled at Shailoh.

Vladimir sighs as he hears the two snapping at each others neck and the sound irritated him even more. He looked over at the two and waved a hand towards them. Freezing their feet first then their fists. Standing up from his chair with his glasses tipped down, he folded a book in his hand in half and walked over to the two while placing his glasses in his other hand. Placing the frame tip on his mouth and he stood in front of the two. "Behave." He said.

His feet refused to move and in response, he leaned forward to Xavier's space. "Oh yeah? I bet you'd end up flying out the streets!" He growled, the enhanced sound ringing throughout the classroom in painful volumes. Some of the vampires started to pass out and Emmett decided it was time to move. However, Shailoh was already glaring at Vladimir. "Vlad, stay out of this." He hissed before attempting to launch himself at his rival. Unfortunately, his body froze as the redhead approached, hands on his hips as he glowered at them both, keeping them both restrained against their will.

"Dontget me started." He warned calmly, earning a glare from Shailoh as he released them, except, the brunette was already on the move, cracking the ice with sound waves and throwing a kick to Xavier's face.

Vladimir sighs and waved his hand again. This time however, he used the ice to cover most of his body including his mouth to prevent him from using his power again. "Please stop with that noise." Vladimir said again. He managed to stop Shailoh from kicking Xavier. "You know the rules Shai, the moment you struck another student, you are expelled." Vladimir sighs and looks at the Emmett. "Maybe these two need a little...quality time." Vladimir smiled to Emmett.

Xavier moved his head back and watched as the ice took over Shailoh's leg. He looked to Vladimir and Emmett. "Oh you two just love to watch a fight." He sarcastically said. He looked at Shailoh and gives another sigh. "I bet you feel very cool for trying." He snickered.

Shailoh was visibly struggling, and would obviously try to throw in a punch or two, regardless of the rules. Actually, Emmett and Vladimir were the only ones keeping them from tearing each other's throats out. He glared, the ice cracking as he kept assaulting the cold with sound waves. Emmett nodded at Vladimir and sighed, waving a hand as he controlled Xavier.

"Yes, yes, let's go with that." He chastised, controlling Xavier so he was hugging a mortified Shailoh. "Now, both of you kiss, hug and play nice until we get out of school and then you can go ahead and continue your little kinky dominance play." He said with a smirk, watching as Shailoh's eyes screamed murder, and another sharp ringing sounded in the air. "Right Vlad?"

Vladimir looked to Emmett with a smile on his face and gives a slight nod. Though he kept his eyes on Emmett for a moment longer before returning his gaze back to the other two. "Perhaps we should have popcorn and watch the show as well?" He joked with the smile still on his face. Returning his attention back to the two. He could see the fire burning in Xaviers eyes.

"Oh please...hug and play nice I'll do with this caveman, but kissing...I rather kiss a penguin then this brute." Xavier replied to Emmetts comment. "And let me go, you know better I don't like...being controlled." He moaned with a pouting expression, and started to feel worried.

Shailoh looked downright murderous and Emmett looked amused. Turning to Vlad, the redhead nodded. "Mhmm... a bucket of popcorn and a show. Sounds more appealing than letting these two loose." He said, giving Shailoh enough leeway to move his mouth. Once more, there was painful ringing in the air and no one was spared. Emmett even winced slightly.

"Tempting offer, but I'd rather make out with a werewolf than give this bastard a peck." The brunette growled, causing Emmett's eyes to narrow at him. The redhead hummed.

"You're not helping either of your case right now, you know. Maybe I'll be a prick and keep you both on your seats? Unless you both behave, and maybe we can make do with you two trying to maiam each other later during gym?" He offered, forcing them even closer together.

Xavier closed his eyes and gives a painful expression as he felt his body drawing closer to Shailoh. He groans for a moment, then started wiggling his fingers around. He looked around and noticed Vladimir had a book in his hand and pointed at the book with his finger and moved it towards Emmett's direction. Pushing the book out of Vladimir's hand and aimed it towards Emmett. "I said I don't like to be controlled!" He whined.

Vladimir watched as the book was sent flying out of his hand and stared at Xavier. "Hey." He said. He heard the ringing of his ears being punished by Shailoh and used his hands to cover both his ears and used his ice power to create a ear muffle glass, but was shattered in seconds and then the sound of a ringing stopped. He looked around as he heard a sudden sound come from the door. It was one of the teachers who walked in with a concerned expression.

This teacher was no ordinary teacher. He had the ability to disable other vampires' powers. He noticed two of his students were in a middle of a fight and apparently was forced to hug each other by another. While the fourth froze their bodies with ice. "Enough." He said aloud and clear voice. "All of you to your seats now, or I'll drag you both to the Principles office and we will see what kind of punishment you four should really be in for." He threatened.

Vladimir quickly grabbed Emmett by his arm and pulled away from the other two. "Come on." He said, grabbing his book off the ground and guided Emmett back to his seat next to his. "Let's not get involved." Vladimir said.

Xavier pushed Shailoh away from his body and started dusting himself off from the melted ice and the numbness his body took a toll from Emmett's power. He shuddered for a moment like he was cold. "Dammit Vladimir." He said softly as he took his seat and covered his body with his arms.

Emmett snickered, ignoring the painful ringing in his ears. He was far too used to Shailoh's tantrums anyway, though his ears were slightly bleeding. Nothing too serious, but enough to hurt. Narrowly dodging the book, he narrowed his eyes at the two. "Don't make me force you two to do something you'd regret." He warned. The teacher stepped in just in time and Shailoh felt the ice melting and his body returning its functions back to him.

"You stupid Emmett puppeteer." Shailoh growled, shoving Xavier with too much force as he glared at the retreating Emmett and Vlad. "Stupid glasses pair." He grumbled before plopping on his seat. Turning his glare at the teacher, he gave a dejected snort. "Yes sir." He ground out, loud enough to be heard before letting out a breath.

The relaxed posture told Emmett that Shailoh was getting ready to study, and he hoped that having Xavier nearby wouldn't disrupt Shailoh's concentration. It was bad enough that their break times would be quite eventful. He hoped class would go smoothly.

The teacher glared at the other students were seemed to be unconscious due to Shailoh's power. The teacher sighs as he stood at his podium in front of the class. He realized some were still conscious, despite wiping blood from their ears. "Don't lick the blood that is coming out of your ears...it is unsanitary and unhealthy to lick your own blood, and also can cause to deform some parts of your body." The teacher warned. He looked at Shailoh for a moment. "And please control your powers from now on. Otherwise you will be dismissed and be sent to the isolated chambers." He looked at the others as well.

Xavier sighs and looks at the other students as they started to awake. He took a pencil from his backpack and twirled it around his fingers continuously. He looked at the clock again while rubbing his ears. "I can't imagine when you have sex with that kind of power." Xavier mumbled behind Shailoh. He smirked as he made the comment.

Shailoh cringed at the Teacher's warning before deservedly nodding. "Yes sir." He grumbled through clenched teeth. He kept his breathing even and was more than ready to ignore Xavier when the stupid vampire decided to run his mouth. Shailoh'cheeks flared red but he looked over his shoulder with a snicker.

"Heh." He purred, feeling irritation well up inside him. "Only a stupid pervert like you would think about me and sex in one sentence. Your curiosity isn't welcome." He sneered before facing front once more, cheeks burning. He had to deal with this for the whole year and the day isn't even halfway through yet. "Ugh..." He groaned before pulling out his notebook.

"The only thing that will have sex with you is probably a frog who can handle such a volume." Xavier said back to him after he turned around. "And besides, I think your the stalker pervert." He mumbled, putting his attention back to his sketch book before tearing another piece. He looked around and was ready to flick another piece behind Shailoh's head. Then he saw it.

The one glare from the teacher who was watching him. Since they can't have their powers, Xavier stared back for a moment. He thought for a moment and then decided to take action. He flicked the piece of paper behind Shailoh's head.

Xavier would accept the fact he was going to get yelled at again by Shailoh and then probably accept the punch as well. But that didn't happen since the teacher stood up higher from his position and looked at the two.

"That's it, both you to the isolated chambers now." He pointed to the door. "Emmett, take over for a while I take these two to the isolated dormant." The teacher grabbed the two and started to escort them.

When the teacher arrived to the sector of the school with the two boys who were ready to fight. The teacher talked to the one who was in charge of the area. Unfortunately he gave the bad news all other rooms were occupied by bad eggs as well. The teacher laughed. "Fine...place them in one since they can't behave properly, might as well let them take it out on each other." The teacher placed the two in a room, but the room was specially designed to detain their powers. Only their physical bodies remain.

Xavier watched as Shailoh was eyeing him like a piece of candy and a pinata at the same time. Once the door was shut and locked. Xavier sits on the floor with his legs crossed and his eyes closed. "See what you did?" He said clearly.

He growled at Xavier but made no other remark. He didn't want to get thrown in the isolation chamber again. Unfortunately, the idiot had other ideas. Then he felt the wad of paper at the back of his head. The entire room could probably hear the snapping sound of his patience but before he could launch himself for a physical attack, the teacher beat him to it. "Why me? He started it!!" Shailoh complained.

"We warned you both." Emmett said with a sigh before waving at them as they were dragged out. Shailoh was obviously protesting the entire way, though he quieted down at some point.

It was unpleasant, but the elder vampire teacher was physically stronger than him so the brunette didn't stand a chance. His scowl deepened when they were forced to share one room. Shailoh glared at Xavier, hoping that he didn't open his mouth. Of course, luck wasn't on his side.

"My fault?! You started it!" He snarled, lunging at Xavier and aiming to punch him in the face. They were Locked in here with no supervision. Might as well make the best of it and punch the living lights out of the new blood.

Xavier felt the body of his opponent on top of him and sees the punch coming his way. He managed to block it with his palm and looked at the other vampire. "Why are you so pissed at me for?" Xavier asked as he maneuvered his body around his and flipped him over, getting on top of the raged boy. "Is it because I got a better physical body or flexibility" He asked with a joke of course. He smirked as he stayed on top and pinned his arms down and stares at the boy. "I'll let you go...if you promise me one thing." He said calmly.

Vladimir watched as Emmett took control of the class for a while until the teacher had returned and relieved him of duty. Vladimir watched as Emmett returned to his seat next to him, at the time. There was note on his desk, and on the note said. "Do you think they'll be alright? -V"

His guard was down when he was securely pinned to the floor. Trying in vain to buck him off, Shailoh let out a loud growl, making the sound rise to painful volumes. "You piss me off on purpose. That's why!" He snarled, flashing his teeth at Xavier. Again, he wasn't known for his patience, or his ability to keep calm when provoked.

Emmett sat down with a sigh. The note was obviously from Vlad. Shooting their teacher a quick glanced, he neatly scrawled his reply and discreetly passed it back. [Not too sure. Have a bad feeling about it but I hope no one gets sent to the hospital this time. -Em]

Xavier looked at his fangs and smiled. "Aw how cute, your still new." He joked as he kept the boy pinned down. He watched as he snarled and hissed at him for a moment. He lets out a soft sigh and stared at the boy. "I'll let you go on one condition...if you calm down and we don't fight and I won't say anything else...unless." He shifted his eyes when he noticed his neck was revealed and couldn't help it, but blush for a moment.

Vladimir looked at the note and read the words. He smirked and wrote another note. "Maybe WE should get a bucket of popcorn and watch the show." He even drew a little happy smile on the side and discreetly gives it back.

"New?" He spat incredulously before thrashing once more. Shiloh tried to pry his hands away when he noticed that Xavier was staring at him. More specifically, his neck. The brunette let out a warning growl. "Or else what? And don't even think about biting me." He warned, baring his own sharp teeth despite the growing blush on his face.

The paper flew back to him and Emmett made quick work of opening it while their teacher droned on. Chuckling loudly, he pushed his glasses up and responded. [Maybe we should. Either way, it'd be a fun show... :3]

Xavier blushed more red when Shailoh said to not bite his neck. He scoffed. "Who wants to bite your neck?" He said with his eyes shifted away from Shailoh. Xavier revealed his own neck when he faced away from Shailoh though still pinning him down. He blushed more red when he noticed Shailoh turned red himself even though he was throwing a baby tantrum.

Despite his blush, Shailoh managed to look defiant. "You, because you're a pervert. Now get off me!" He complained, before using his entire strength to push the other vampire off. Huffing loudly, he shot him a glare and crossed his arms. "You're the one baring your neck, weirdo." Shailoh was full of insults as he tried to hide his growing embarrassment.

"You wished I let you look at my neck." Xavier pulled on his uniform collar up and kept his neck hidden. "And put away your baby teeth." He said then blinked several times. "I didn't realize I still had a few in the chamber." He sighs as he pulled his knees to his chest and held them together. Keeping his head on his knees and watched the door. "I can't believe I'm stuck in here with for a couple of hours." He mumbled.

Shailoh hissed at him but kept his distance. "Just because I was younger than you when I was turned doesn't mean I have baby teeth." He flashed his fangs. "Want me to try them on you?" Shailoh sneered before harrumping and turning away. "I can't believe I'm stuck in here because of you." He corrected before standing up and inspecting the walls. He'd try to break out if he sees a crack.

Xavier looked at the teeth Shailoh had shown him. He scoffed when he said they are not baby teeth and blushed when he asked if he wanted to try them on his neck. "I don't like baby teeth on my neck." He said, shifting his eyes again. He watched him as he started to look on the walls.

"If your trying to get out, you can't." Xavier looked up to him, "There is a reason why these rooms are isolated, its because there is a spell that prevents us from using our powers and keep us detained in these rooms. We can't break free until lunch hour." He looked at his watch on his wrist. "Which is 2 hours from now." He sighs and leans back on the wall. He smirked as he looked at Shailoh.

He quickly stood up and pushed Shailoh against the wall, pinning him again the wall and smiled. "Let's make time go by fast." He said revealing his teeth, "I'll show you what real fangs are like." He grinned, "Come on, I'll let you bite my neck." Xavier was only joking, just to get on Shailohs nerves once more for fun.

"Ugh... Do me a favor and shut up." He hissed, tapping his nails against the wall, listening to how far the sound waves travelled. "I'm not dumb enough to not know that, but who knows? If this room is sound proof, it means no one would hear anything if I were to get out and leave you here." Tiny cracks were all he was looking for. Pressing his ear against the wall, Shailoh stiffened when he felt weight pressing him against the wall.

His breath hitched and for a brief moment, he remembered that he hasn't had breakfast yet. "Tempting, but you'd probably end up bawling your eyes out if I bite you." He said haughtily, pushing back against the other vampire before turning in place, so they were facing each other. His pupils had shrunk to slits and his fangs grew longer. Running his tongue over the sharp tip of his teeth, the brunette snickered.

"I didn't know you were that desperate, but really, get off me." The younger vampire warned, growling lowly. He tilted his head to the side. "Get off."

"Baby teeth aching for blood now?" Xavier teased as he noticed Shailoh didn't put up a fight against him. Although he noticed he didn't resist much either about the bites. Threats were his way. He laughed when Shailoh thought he would be desperate and his fangs grew larger.

"Awe look at that, your baby teeth grew into children's teeth." He teased, "But for someone who is threatening, you seem like YOU want this." He moved his neck sideways, revealing the soft skin of his neck. "I bet your hungry." He smirked, "Too bad I'm not human though, or you would have had fun." He snickered.

"You know what? You're a jerk, Xavier." He finished after a while, shoving the older vampire away. "And if I wanted blood, I'd rather drink from a werewolf than you. Don't think so highly of yourself." Shailoh said. It was almost like the other was tempting him to bite. Retracting the sharp length of his teeth he glared at Xavier and flipped him his middle finger. It was official; he would never be able to finish school at this point.

Crossing his arms, he leaned back. "And before it gets up to that big head of yours, I'm not interested in your blood, even if I shrivel up from hunger, your blood is something I Don't Want to have the displeasure of drinking. Give it to some idiot who cares."

Xavier laughed as he stepped away after a little shove from Shailoh. He smiled and stared at him for a moment. "You know, you have to control your hunger and eat properly, other wise you'll end up like a deformed beast. I'd say you got an hour before you go hungry, and I can tell your getting hungry. And these Isolation Guards won't peek through these doors until our time is up."

Xavier took a step forward and revealed his neck. "So have some blood, and don't worry about my blood. I had a tasty deer this morning, so you should be able to absorb some of the blood in me." He closed his eyes and sighs. "I may be a jerk, but believe I'm a caring jerk." He looked at Shailoh. "Now stop acting such a baby and eat already."

He raised his brow at the offer. "I am hungry, but I can still hold on for two hours." Okay, he had plans of sneaking in food during class, after all, drinking blood isn't exactly prohibited during class hours. But still, constant reminder of his hunger was causing his stomach to growl and his mouth to salivate. Shaking his head, he frowned. "You're a jerk. Period." Shailoh said stubbornly. "Plus, my mouth's watering right now. You don't want to risk it."

A little saliva in the bloodstream is alright, but too much of Iit and they'd start to smell like each other. It would be a slap to both their reputations. Although, he really was getting hungry. He sighed. "Fine, but I'm not owing you anything." He complained. Shailoh shyly stepped into his personal space, nosing the juncture of his neck and shoulder, sniffing the the UK of blood. Teeth sharpened and elongated and within the next second, the brunette had his eyes closed, mouth over his neck as slick slurping sounds filled the chamber. He definitely was hungry and the whimper of appreciation was proof of that. Stomach sated, Shailoh retracted his fangs, licking the wound close before letting out a soft sigh and pulling away, licking the blood off the corners of his mouth. "Not the best I've had."

Xavier closed his eyes as he felt the fangs piercing through the flesh of his neck. He flinched a little and including gripping on Shailohs shirt. He moaned a little as he felt the pressure pain. He had forgotten what it was like to be bitten, Shailoh was the second person to bite his neck. He leans forward a little to relieve some pain, but his nose caught his scent. His nose was filled with his, but for an unknown reason. It was exotic.

"And your not the roughest I ever had." Xavier said and held onto his neck, running where Shailoh had bit into his flesh. He could feel the ooze of saliva and blood mixed together. "And certainly not the cleanest." He added.

Xavier kept his head down, staring at the floor while touching the holes where Shailoh penetrated. He could feel his flesh already healing. "You were very hungry, wasnt you?" He asked while checking his hand for both saliva and blood. He leans towards his hand and takes a small sniff. He could tell he didn't eat anything, and the scent of deer blood still lingered in his own. He looked to Shailoh as he cleaned himself off. Wiping the blood from the sides of his mouth, he grew disgusted.

"Don't use your hands you idiot." Xavier said as he takes a handkerchief from his pocket. He walked up to Shailoh and started dabbing on his mouth, cleaning him properly.

Obviously, Shailoh didn't seem too comfortable with the handkerchief dabbling at the corners of his mouth. "Since when did you start caring about how I lick myself clean?" The brunette asked grumpily. Before he could comment more, his nose caught the scent of something and his mouth snapped shut. It smelled heavenly, whatever it was. He took a whiff of his surroundings once more, trying to find the source as he batted Xavier's hand from his face.

"I smell mint... and rain." He said, green eyes looking around curiously for the source of the smell before sighing and shaking his head. Fortunately that action cleared the unconscious haze his mind pulled at him and he could only stare incredulously at the other. "Oh no. Wipe your neck! You're starting to have my scent all over you!" It translated to Shailoh being all over the other vampire and he did not appreciate that.

Hissing in distaste, he rubbed the back of his hand over his nose, as if trying to rub the scent off. "I shouldn't have sealed the wound." He grumbled to himself, eyeing the other vampire once more.

Xavier sighs as he finished cleaning his neck, but the scent he caught didn't enter his mind. But after he mentioned it, he started to smell as well. "Why is your scent mint and rain?" He asked in shock as he covered his wound. Wiping the saliva that covered it. He used his handkerchief to wipe it off, but he kept smelling for a while. He groans in disgust. "Great...you and fresh air breath is all over me." He sighs and leans back against the wall.

"Well...since your scent is all over me...it's my turn." He revealed his fangs and tackled the other to ground, practically pinning him while he was on top. But then he stopped.

"Wait...this would be worse." He groans again and gets off the boy and sits on the floor in the opposite room. Touching his neck and sniffing his hand. "Did you lick a car freshener before you came to this school?" He asked while still smelling the scent. He couldnt help himself, but to enjoy it.

Xavier sighs as he finished cleaning his neck, but the scent he caught didn't enter his mind. But after he mentioned it, he started to smell as well. "Why is your scent mint and rain?" He asked in shock as he covered his wound. Wiping the saliva that covered it. He used his handkerchief to wipe it off, but he kept smelling for a while. He groans in disgust. "Great...you and fresh air breath is all over me." He sighs and leans back against the wall.

"Well...since your scent is all over me...it's my turn." He revealed his fangs and tackled the other to ground, practically pinning him while he was on top. But then he stopped.

"Wait...this would be worse." He groans again and gets off the boy and sits on the floor in the opposite room. Touching his neck and sniffing his hand. "Did you lick a car freshener before you came to this school?" He asked while still smelling the scent. He couldnt help himself, but to enjoy it.

Before he could actually protest, Shailoh was on his back, blinking owlishly at Xavier before realization hit him. "Idiot! Of course it'd make everything worse! You already smell like I was all over you and it's creepy!" The brunette protested. The scent of his own mixed with the other vampire's tickled his nose and he took a deep breath.

But it smelled good. That's why Shailoh didn't like it. He noticed that Xavier was casually sipping the kerchief and his lips pulled up in a half snarl. Crawling forward, because he can't be bothered to stand right now, he snatched the handkerchief and tucked it into his pocket, giving the other vampire a cold glare.

"No I didn't. That's my natural smell and you're acting like a creepy with alk your sniffing." Shailoh complained with a scowl before his lips whirled upward in a smile. "Unless, you actually like my scent, unlike your own creepy weirdo scent." He huffed, looking quite smug.

"And what is wrong with midnight lavender?!" He growled back with a anger expression. "You smell like you went through a run in the forest." Xavier sighs and closed his eyes while folding his arms. "And yes I like the smell." He smirked, "It reminds me of a fresh clean car after taking it to the washers." He snickered a little after the joke.

"And who is the more weirdo?!" Xavier looked up and stared at the other. "Taking my lucky hanky for ones own use?" He didnt protest much when Shailoh took his handkerchief and stuffed it in his pocket. With a annoying sigh, he moves his hand through his hair as the blue and black hair shined from the light. Partial of his hair moved across his face and the rest waved down around his head.

"If your gonna give my lucky hanky back later, I like it clean please."

Shailoh flushed slightly, then glared. "You smell like a girl. That's what." Not that Shailoh wanted to say it was a good scent. "I'm stealing this and giving it back to you, clean, after I drench it in hydrochloric acid." The brunette countered with a snicker. "And besides, it was your fault for sniffing it like that. Ultimately, this was probably going to end in a mouthy argument or the two of them butting heads. Shailoh's scowl deepened and he glared at Xavier. "But it's your fault we're here though. I can't believe I got roped into this." He growled, before g out a loud sigh and plopping down on his back with a soft exhale.

Xavier groaned and moaned for a bit as he started rubbing the bite mark area on his neck. He looked at Shailoh with drowsy eyes and growls softly. "So...your just gonna burn my hanky?" He smirked. "Just buy me a new then." His head slowly goes down as so did his movement. Barely moving around and his eyes mostly trying to shut. He looked at Shailoh for a moment and when he mentioned of sleep. "Well don't try and do anything to me..." His words trailed off as his body just drops suddenly to the ground, laying on his side. It was obvious he became unconscious, but why?

"How about no?" He snapped, still on his back before the soft sound of someone falling on the ground registered in his ears. Glancing at Xavier, he raised a brow. "Ha ha. You're not fooling me." Silence. "Oi. It's not funny."

Still getting no response, he sat up and glared at the other vampire before approaching him. Apparently, slapping someone awake was not appropriate, according to Emmett at least. The slap stopped in mid-air, hovering above Xavier's cheek. "Oi, wake up."

A School Security Officer just happened to walk by the room and looked through the glass window and noticed the two, only one was on the ground unconscious. He took his key card and opened the door and looked at the brunette."What happened?" He asked clearly as he kneeled next to Xavier, he placed his hand on his back and leans down to hear if Xavier was breathing or not. He could hear Xavier slightly breathing, but with a hint of harsh labor.

The Security Officer grabbed his radio. "This is Tim, I got one male on the ground... possibility low blood." He picked up Xavier and looked at Shailoh. "Kid your coming with me." He nodded his head to tag along.

After minutes of waking, the three arrived to the infirmary and meet with 3 different nurses. 1 human and 2 vampire. The Security Officer placed Xavier on one of the beds and took a step back while the nurses started treating Xavier.

Tim looked at Shailoh and took out his notepad and pen. "What happened in there?" He asked, "What is your name and what is his?" He pointed at Xavier with a pen before returning it to his notepad.

Scowling slightly, Shailoh looked away. He was just as confused as the others, but low blood? The possibility that he drank too much from the other made guilt gnaw at his gt. It wasn't a welcome feeling. Shaking his head, he shrugged. "Not sure. One minute, we were... talking, and ten he suddenly falls down like that." He couldn't really say that they've been arguing, right? "No, we were arguing, as usual." He huffed.

"I'm Shailoh von Karma. That guy over there is Xavier Desmarais." He refrained from calling Xavier an idiot in front of the people of authority because it wasn't a good thing to see. Although the two of them were notorious for always trying to compete in grades and trying to piss each other off, it was still a little embarrassing at times, especially when they get scolded.

Tapping in on his curiosity, he peeked at the other vampire and looked back at Tim. "What happened to him? Low blood? Fainting? Hunger spasm?" He tried to convince himself that he really couldn't care less but Shailoh wasn't that much of a stuck-up despite what he wants others to believe.

"It looked like blood transfusion, another vampire bit him and took a little bit too much blood. Though he had a little fill of his own, we're guessing this boy drank some blood, but not enough to fill his hunger. We have him stabilize for now with a blood pack and should be back on his feet soon." The Vampire Nurse said as she walked over to the Security Officer and Shailoh.

"So it's just another low blood victim?" Tim asked and the nurse nodded. "We had a similar case, a young boy did the same and well...he deformed shortly after only for eating so little. Consider yourself lucky when the Security Officer found you." The Vampire Nurse smiled towards Shailoh. "I assume you will be wanting to go to lunch hour. You are excused for today young lad, and we will be watching Xavier from now on, but if you wish to visit him. Please return in a few hours." The Nurse turned around and headed back to the boy on the bed and the three stood and watched his progress while taking notes.

During lunch hour, Vladimir and another vampire were on a large table, sitting on opposite sides while drinking a pouch with blood inside. The two were with Emmett as they were eating their fill.

"So do you think the two will finally be out? Or do you think they'll be out after school?" Vladimir asked.

The other vampire with shirt and black and silver hair which was style sighs and takes a sip from his blood pouch. "Well from what you two told me, it does sound they'll be in Isolation for quite a while. I mean if Xavier pushed Shailoh on the edge like that, no doubt we'll see them by the end of detention...which is after school."

He bit the inside of his cheek guiltily. Okay, maybe he did drink a bit more, but that was because he hasn't had breakfast yet. And it was offered!! Then again, he couldn't just feed off a fellow vampire when his stomach was empty. He doubted a single deer could feed them both. With a small nod he took the slip and glanced at Xavier before quietly stepping out.

Emmett shrugged and began to finish of the Apple he was eating, having finished drinking his fill of lunch. He always did like the taste of other food, despite getting little to no nutrients from them. "I'd actually bet that one of them got sent to the hospital." The redhead hummed before taking another bite. "Those two love butting heads all the time, even during detention."

His eyes flitted to the entrance before a smile graced his lips. "Speaking of which, it looks like Shailoh's back." Emmett said, waving slightly to get the brunette's attention. As soon as he approached, the read head noticed two things: One, he could heavily smell Xander on the brunette and two, It looks like Shailoh went for a quick. A delicate brow raised when the brunette stormed over, with enough blood bags to feed three. "I know you didn't eat breakfast, but isn't that too much?" He asked, only to be ignored. "And why do you smell like Xander?"

Shailoh's pupils had dilated and he glared at Emmett and the try story far sweeter than fiction. "None of your business." He hissed, downing his fifty bag. Shailoh continued his grumpy parade and paraded his irritation. However, the hostility and the amount of drinking was starting to worry Emmett.

The black and silver hair vampire sighs as he watched the brunette eats through fifty bags of blood. "You going to pay for all that?" He asked, Eskel watched him for a little longer and then gives a small laugh. "That's alright, I'll have it on my tab for now, and besides those were the cheap blood." He looked to the till worker and waved a hand and the till worker understood.

Eskel, a long friend of Vladimir since childhood. Vladimir shifted his body towards Emmett, placing a arm around him and his chin on his shoulder and looked up to Shailoh. "If you ask me, I think you two must have." Then he smooched his lips together for a second and stopped. "And by the way...where is Xavier?" He asked, looking around with curiosity.

Eskel looked at the two hugged each other for a moment and then turned his attention to Shailoh. He gets up and walks up to the boy. He leans down and takes a long sniff of his scent. "You smell like Midnight Lavender...Xavier uses that scent...and hint of mix..." He sniffs again. "Morning Breeze?" He pondered a moment. Eskel was a big character, he was mostly about increasing his muscle mass, he was bulky and tall compared to Shailoh who was like a tiny dog to his master.

He knew he was going to get interrogated at one point, but it didn't make the experience any less of a bother. Instead, he settled a glare at Emmett and Vladimir. "No. You're being disturbing." He said, angrily biting down on the blood bag and making a bit of a mess on himself.

"He smells like Damn girl." He replied, huffing and scooting away before Eskel could get another wiff. "And don't smell me, damnnit!" He growled. Despite being a Chihuahua in size, he sure possessed a big bark.

Emmett wasn't fooled though. "Ah... does this gave anything to do with you not eating breakfast?" He asked, leaning close to Vladimir. The scowl and the small hint of surprise confirmed his suspicions. "You fed from him, didn't you?" By now, Shailoh looked like he was going to explode with all the heat in his cheeks.

"So what? He offered." He growled through gritted teeth. His stomach was starting to ache from all the blood and his body felt like it was high on caffeine. "And both of you should stop playing my parents. You're starting to act like them." He sscoffed before giving Eskel a look. "I owe to one. Thanks." And with that, he dashed off to the direction of the clinic. Emmett sighed.

"You know what? I'm willing to bet a ten that those two would've kissed by the end of the day." He mumbled, relaxing in Vlad's hold as he cleaned his glasses.

It was weird to see Shailoh rushing to the infirmary with pink cheeks. It got a few stares and a lot of whispers, until those whispering whimpered at the sharp sound slicing through the air. Thankfully, the clinic was barren, the nurses probably on break. Taking a deep breath, he stormed over to Xavier, kicking the foot of his bed. "Get up." He commanded, undying the top buttons of his uniform. His cheeks grew redder as cold air tickled his exposed collarbone but it didn't deter him from flopping down on the soft mattress and exposing his neck. "Get your damn fill. I drank enough for three and I don't like debts."

Xavier opened his eyes slowly and looked at the exposed neck of the brunette boy and raised an eyebrow. "What now?" He asked softly as he raised his head a little. Then his eyes widen and cheeks burned red. He blinked several times when he looked at his neck and then to his face which was red as well. He was breathing slowly, but also excited as well.

He felt his teeth grow and his tongue wet. He looked at the boy first, then to the blood pouch that was hooked to an IV line that was attached to his arm. The bag was 2/3rd done and yet he still felt the need to hunger.

He sighs and closes his eyes and smiled. "And here I thought I get to use that debt to pay for a amount of outstanding homework." He chuckled softly and sighs again. "Fine."

He reaches up to the boys neck and pulls him closer, his mouth opened and his tongue reached out and licked the skin of his neck. After a moment of tease, his fangs pierced through his skin and started to moan softly as he felt the blood going down smoothly in his throat. The taste was fantastic and his other hand grabbed on his shirt and pulled his closer, his hand on the neck gripped into his neck and kept him close as he feasted.

Sounds of slurping and moans echoed in the room as he pulled away and lays back on the bed and sighs in relief, but also breathing heavily after a taste of sweet blood that dripped on the sids of his mouth. He looked at Shailoh and smiled. "Now you smell like me." He teased.

Vladimir watched as Shailoh left the group and looked at the empty bags of blood left behind. "I don't know if you consider head hurting...kissing." He said while leaning on Emmett's shoulder and held him in a hug. His breathing was on his neck and he takes a small sniff. "You smell like chocolate spice though...I like it." Vladimir smiled behind the red head.

Eskel watched as the boy left and looked at the other two. "Why don't you two love birds go back to your dormitories?" He asked while folding his arms.

The brunette flinched when Xavier licked his neck before gasping softly at the sensation of teeth breaking into skin. Huffing loudly, his fingers squeezed the covers of the bed, eyes screwed shut. Bit by bit, he felt the blood drain from his body. At least now, he didn't feel overstuffed.

"Ugh. Yeah. I smell like you. Might need a bath after this." He grumbled before fishing the handkerchief he stole earlier. Dabbing it at the blood on his neck, he then threw it at the other vampire. "Clean your mouth. You look gross." He grumbled, but didn't move from his position. "Now we're even." He wanted to leave, but instead, he just stared at Xavier. The smell in the room was a sweet mix of lavender and mint, something that was oddly good to the nose. It kept him from leaving, so he just crossed his arms and glared at the other.

Emmett just laughed lightly in response to Eskel, making show of snuggling closer to the white haired vampire. "Maybe later? We can't really leave you alone, since Aster is far from going back to school. I heard he's still up north and you'd probably be lonely without either of us keeping you company." He teased before smiling at Vlad.

"Well? Do you want to go back to the dorms? I won't mind?" He purred, though it was mostly in jest and teasing.

Vladimir wrapped his arms around the chest of the red headed and gives a soft sigh. "If it must please you, but I rather stay here and keep Eskel company since he is all alone, and yet somehow, we are his only friends." He smiled at Eskel who only gives a blank expression. Eskel closed his eyes as he took the blood pack and finished drinking the blood. "Tempting, but I know Aster is probably trying to sneak his way back since he can't very well still." He looked at his book back and pulled out a book called Master Armor Guide. He looked at the book and opened and examined the pages. "Damn...Arts and Crafts class wants me to make something extraordinary, so I can pass...do you two know where I can find a armory?" He showed the book of a design for chest armor.

Xavier wipes the blood from his lips and then looked at the handkerchief and smelled it. He remained where he was and continued to sniff for a moment. "I wonder if I throw this in the dryer and all my clothes would smell like this?" He joked and looked at handkerchief.

He looked the boy who was still on top of him. He releases a small sigh and placed the handkerchief back in his pocket. "But sadly, you said you would only give it back when it is clean so it can be odorless...of our scent." Xavier checked his lips one more time for blood. "So...you saved me huh?....why?"

Sighing dramatically, Emmett made show of nuzzling Vlad. "A shame, yes. We can amend that later... In the privacy of our room." He joked before raising a brow at Eskel. "He's due back tomorrow, you know?" Which was true. Last time he heard from their blonde delinquent, he was pretty much chained up north because he kept trying to escape.

"Hmmm... Actually, I do." Emmett shifted more comfortably in his position, lying his head on the other vampire's shoulder. "Oreshire Tavern, somewhere in town." He said, gesturing out. "Aster's family runs it though the only one who have been there are Xavier, Shailoh and Aster himself." The redhead grinned. "So you can either wait for Aster tomorrow or go fetch one of our friends in the infirmary, if I'm guessing it right." Of course he is. There's never a week where one of them didn't get confined in some place or another.

Shailoh's green eyes narrowed. "Don't even think about it." He said, baring his fangs in a threatening manner. Unfortunately, he wouldn't stoop so low as to attack an injured person. "You're lucky you're hurt, or else I would've punched you." He complained with a growl.

But his irritation was still ticking. Hoisting himself up so he could sit down on the other's stomach, he brought his weight down painfully. "Fine! Give it back and I'll return it to you tomorrow." He spat, shoving one hand inside his pocket in order to retrieve the kerchief. Unfortunately, it meant that he had to lean forward and tilt his head so he could look at his hand, the action once more exposing his neck as he grumbled about not feeling the kerchief and bottomless pockets.

Xavier's cheeks turned red as he stared at the bare neck that was exposed. He blinked with a blank expression and something in his mind took over. His hand reached to his arm, gripping on the sleeve and his other hand gripped the chest of his shirt, pulling him close and his teeth bit into his neck, but he didn't drink anymore blood. Instead, he nibble on the neck like though he was sucking with saliva. He had his eyes closed and his mouth attached to the neck for only a couple of seconds before releasing. He lays back on the bed and sigh heavily. He opened his eyes and looked at the boy's neck. "And now you're marked." He joked of the hickey mark.

Shiloh was feeling pretty lenient, grumbling as he groped around for the kerchief. However, the moment he felt breath on his neck, he froze before letting out a sound crossed between a squeal and a yelp of pure indignation as he was tugged downward. What happened next, however, made his mind cloud over. Usually bright green eyes lowered to half mast and a soft whine escaped his lips as he weakly struggled. "D-Damn you." Shailoh hissed, clenching his hands before he was released.

"You!! Why would you do that?!" He snarled, covering his neck with one hand. The furious blush on his cheeks and the scent now embedded onto his skin made him snarl. "I regret not punching you." He hissed, though he didn't exactly move out of his personal space. He did, however, punch him on the stomach, hard.

Xavier sees the punch coming towards his stomach, luckily using his power to slow the punch and he felt a gentle punch then a hard one. He moaned as he felt his fist touching his stomach and opens his eyes slowly. His purple eyes stared at the brunette with a calm, and yet blank expression. He smirked as he noticed the boy was still on top of him. "You know you could get off and then hit me." He snickered. "But...I'm still kind of tired." He moved his head around in the pillow he laid on, with his eyes closing. At that moment, he too revealed his neck and left it exposed.

Shailoh sneered. "Nah. I actually like the view from up here. Makes you look lower." He paused before his eyes trailed over at the expanse of neck. He could hear the blood calling out and his teeth elongated slightly. Swallowing, he forced himself to focus before growling. He grabbed Xavier by tge front of his shirt and forced him to look at the brunette. "You're trying to seduce me, aren't you?" He hissed, feelings his cheeks grow warm. "Why?"

He scoffed as he rolled his eyes and laid his head back on the pillow and closed his eyes. "If someone is seducing someone here...it's you." He said reminding him about laying on top of him. "A Knight in shiny armor rescuing someone in need of help...and I happen to be that someone." He sighs as he opened his eyes slowly. "So your the Shiny Knight and yet your the one seducing me..." He slowly moved his head, "So I should be the one asking...why?" He leans his body up with his elbows dug into the bed and his head out of the pillow.

"I repeated a debt, not rescue you. You're not that special." He hissed, gripping the shirt tighter. "You're the one flashing your neck, marking me and seemingly amused with the entire situation." Shailoh challenged, green eyes narrowed. "So what excuse are ya gonna give me? That I'm the one flaunting myself for you? You wish!" They were almost nose to nose now, with the brunette in an almost blind rage as he snapped his teeth in aggression.

Xavier opened his eyes once more and noticed how close the Brunette was. He lets out a soft sigh. "I'm amused because I'm supposed to be your rival...not your..." He gritted his teeth, "Prince to be or whatever." He looked at Shailoh and smiled. "You came to the rescue and saved me, and in return I handed my handkerchief for you to clean, but you may keep it as a prize..." He chuckled, "And surprisingly you were not very aggressive with the hickey bite mark." He placed his hands on Shailoh's arms. "So...what excuse would I give you?" He smirked, "That your a prince." He joked.

"Stop with the rescue excuse! I did no such thing, dammnit!!" He was growling loudly now, looking completely livid before his eyes flickered down when he felt something brushing against his skin. "... what are you trying to do? You're up to something bad again. What do you want, Xavier? What are you planning?" He hissed. "First, you get us both isolated, knowing that I haven't eaten yet, then you offer me your blood, then give me your kerchief, then you get thrown in here. You expected me to drop by somehow, didn't you?" They were rivals, and it was pissing him off. They were rivals, not mates. They weren't courting. His eyes narrowed at the thought. "What are you up to?"

"Fine...you want to know what I'm up to?" He glared at the angry brunette. His hands gripped on his shirt and his head leans forward with his eyes closed and kisses the boy on the lips. After the kiss, he pulls away and looks the other way and glares at the window, staring at the cold night. "There." He said with red in his cheeks. "Now...can you please get off so I can try and walk around?" He asked.

Shailoh was expecting something. However, when lips pressed against his own, Shailoh's eyes fluttered close. When they parted, he blinked at the other vampire. His brain pieced it all together before he opened his mouth in surprise. "Are you... what? Why me?" He squeaked indignantly, seemingly rooted on the spot. He stayed in his place before narrowing his eyes. "You don't even like me!" He hissed before blinking.

"Yeah well..." He stopped for a moment while staring at the window. "You..." He growls for a moment. "Coming back and giving me blood...you could have just left me here you know?" He glared at the window with red cheeks and didn't move from the bed, instead, he remained on the bed and didn't move, despite he just kissed another vampire.

Shailoh frowned. "I drained you. It's only polite I come back here." A sudden thought crossed his mind and a playful grin pressed on his face. "Awww... could it be that I'm starting to smell like mate to you?" He joked, not really serious about the jab. Helping himself off the other vampire and off the bed, he grinned. "Is that it? Didn't know I smelled good toy be considered." He said with a shrug.

Xavier faced expression from calm to shock with a blush on his face. He looked at Shailoh with a frown and quickly got up from the bed. "No!" He shouted. "It's not that!" He said again with a red face and quickly got off the bed. The IV Blood pack was still attached to him, and it followed him as he stormed towards the bathroom. Closing the door behind him, the IV Stand hits the door and stopped. Xavier felt the IV cord reached it's limit and pulled him backwards, forcing Xavier to fall backwards and land on the ground. The loud thud could be heard from outside.

Shailoh was still snickering when Xavier stormed to the bathroom. When the door slammed shut, he let out a guffaw of laughter. "Aww, you didn't have to be so embarrassed sweetie." The brunette said, egging the other vampire on. Hearing the crash from the other side, he raised a brow. "Are you trying to kill yourself or something? Because I don't wanna be accused of murder." His brows furrowed at the thought as he stood in front of the door, wondering whether he should knock or not. After all, Xavier was probably still hungry. Unlike Shailoh, he hasn't eaten yet.

Xaviers moans as he felt the tug of the tube still attached to his arm and slowly gets up and looked at himself in the mirror. "Ow." He softly says. He heard the knock of the door and quickly recovers himself. "Hey...still occupied." He spoke softly as he still felt the pain urging the back of his head where he landed. "And why are you calling me sweetie now?" He asked towards the door. He turns on the water faucet and waits for the water to run cold, "Pervert." He softly says.

"Don't let it get to your head." He draw led sarcastically, crossing his arms as he narrowed his eyes at the door. "And I definitely know it was occupied. Wanted to see if you were dead so I could get away without being accused of murder." Shailoh scoffed, nose in the air before walking away. The beds of the clinic were always soft, so it didn't take much thought on his part. It was logical that he plop down and immediately curl in the cool sheets. If only his sheets at home were this cold.

"If you wanted to get away with murder, all you have to do is burn the handkerchief." Xavier says back to the door. Splashing cold water in his face, and quickly takes a small gulp to wash his mouth as he could still taste the thick blood in his mouth. Rinsing and swallowing what was left of the remains. Xavier sighs as he stared at himself in the mirror, or if he could. Seeing only the image of the back wall of the restroom, but no sign of a boy standing in front of it. Xavier had to only depend on himself to style his hair or have someone make sure he uses the right dye color for his hair. He brushed his hair and flicks the water from his fingers in the sink.

Opening the restroom door, he finds Shailoh on the bed. "..." He was silent for a moment, "So...is this a trap?" He asked, joking of course. "Because your heavy rear was too much for my stomach to handle."

His eyes had closed, only to flash open when the other vampire spoke. "No, it's not. You're just too weak to handle me, that's what." The brunette grunted, sitting up to glare at him. Why was he even still here? Snorting in disdain, Shailoh rolled over and sat up. "Need anything else? If not, I'm leaving."

"No, it just means you have a fat butt." Xavier joked as he combed his black and purple hair with his hand. He walked to the bed and sits on the bed next to the brunette. "You know you could have just walked away?" He looked at the brunette and gives a blank face. "I mean...I would have just been fine, since the hospital wing gave me the blood I needed, and you could have just went to class or something." Xavier explained as he looked at the IV line hooked to his arm, he picked at it for a while, like an itch wanted to be scratched.

"My butt is wonderful, people want to reach out just to touch it." He responded sarcastically. Glaring angrily at Xavier, Shailoh crossed his arms, crossing one leg over the other as he stuck his nose in the air. "I hate you. That's why." He huffed, glaring at him again. "I don't like it that I owe you one because I was hungry, so I'm just repaying the favor. I'd hate to owe you anything." He said, which was true. Having a debt was bad. Having a debt to Xavier? The absolute worst. "Now, you're done and happy, I can leave, right? Good riddance." He said, standing up and dusting himself.

Xavier sighs as he pulled the IV off from his arm and rubbed the mark where it left. He looked at the open wound as it started to close slowly. "Of course you can leave, idiot...it's a free school." Xavier smirked as he stood up from the bed and walked past the brunette. "Shame...I could have used that debt...well...guess I'm in your debt now." He stared at the boy for a moment as he walked by and headed towards the door.

Shailoh scrunched his nose and stalked past him. "Your talking gross things, weirdo." The brunette said, ducking his head as he walked past. "I'm leaving. Hope you're late for next class." He called, walking swiftly out of the hospital wing. The brunette was scowling slightly as he walked, footsteps louder than how they normally would be if he wasn't using his abilities.

Xavier sighs and quickly walk past the brunette and slightly brushes again'st his shoulder. "Idiot, we both have the same classes." At that moment, he quickly gave a shove on the boy's chest and run through the door. "I just hope your there on time!" Xavier laughed as he ran through the halls and head straight to his next class. During his little marathon run, he started to move slowly and his hand reached up to the wall and his other hand touched his stomach. He groaned as he leans again'st the wall, holding with both hands on his stomach. "Ow." He muttered out softly and groaned in pain. "I think I must have took too much for my fill of the day."

When he was shoved, Shailoh didn't hesitate to let out a snarl before running off. Glaring at Xavier he dashed off, expecting a race before stopping when the other did. He raised a delicate brow. "That's what you get for being a glutton, you tardy prick." He complained, glaring at him, before turning back and stomping his way back to class, making sure he doesn't turn back to help, though he discreetly looked over his shoulder to check on him.

Xavier sneered as the boy walked past him, but kept it hidden. He held on to his stomach and moaned as he tried to stand on his own two feet. His hand felt the wall as it kept him balance, his head lowered, his hair hiding his eyes which were expression pain. He couldn't help it, but grit his teeth and walked slowly to the classroom. He took in a deep breath and managed to walk on his feet again, but with the assistance of the wall. He could hear the sounds of feet stomping to class and he smiled. "Figured you would act like a baby when I pushed you on the bed..." He chuckled as he followed the sounds of feet stomping.

"I heard that." He snarled, eyes narrowed down as he huffed. Shailoh's tantrum dragged on until he reached his classroom. Thankfully, the teacher wasn't there yet. Still, it didn't stop the entire class from gawking as soon as his scent hit their noses. Making his way to his seat, the brunette scowled and glared out the window, ignoring the odd looks he was getting.

Xavier finally stood up straight and took in a deep breath, exhaling slowly. He managed to get to the classroom and noticed the other students were staring at him. They could smell his scent as he entered and then started to whisper to each other. Unfortunately, Xavier's seat was next to Shailoh. He sighs as he sits down and places a arm over his stomach. "Thanks for the help." He whispered to Shailoh. "Over eager butt head." He mumbled as he looked around and noticed the teacher had finally arrived. A tall and slim woman by the looks of her, brown hair, yellow eyes and fair skin.

Xavier leans back in his seat and looks up at the ceiling and slowly turns his head and notices Shailoh's desk. He takes a piece of paper and bites a small piece and moves it around in his mouth. He had a straw and places it on his lips and shot a spit wad at Shailoh's desk.

"Fuck off." He growled, leaning back. Shailoh shifted in his seat, staying still as the teacher walked in. Bringing his notes out, the brunette sat straight ready to take notes when a wet wad of spit-coated paper landed on his desk. The brunette blinked before turning to Xavier with a growl.

Emmet was taking notes, but raised his head at the sound of the soft growl. Shailoh was about to hit Xavier again it seemed. With a sigh, he glared at the brunette, forcing him to stay still against his will. It wouldn't do to have the teacher notice them again.

Xavier looked at the brunette and at his desk as he twittled with the straw in his mouth. He sighs as he places his arms on the table and reached for his pen and wrote on a blank white paper. He looked up for a moment, pretending to understand what the teacher was saying and back to his writing. He chuckled and looked to the brunette and places the drawing on Shailoh's desk. It was a picture of Shailoh and Xavier only Xavier was biting on Shailoh's neck with love heart shapes above his head.

Emmet felt himself getting distracted once more when Shailoh struggled against his powers. One look showed that the brunette was flushed, green eyes narrowed in anger as he snarled quietly. Glancing between both of them, the redhead winced when the teacher turned to stare at the brunette.

"Oh my. Dear, do you need to go to the infirmary? Your... face is red." She said with a small frown and Emmet was starting to really struggle keeping Shailoh in place. "Hmmm... someone should take you there. It wouldn't work having you sick and unable to concentrate in class."

Xavier smirked as he looked at the frozen brunette, he could tell Emmett was using his powers on him to keep him in control. But then he also felt a sharp pain which tapped on his rear, he flinched and rubbed his side as he turned to look and see Vladimir waving a finger, telling him no. He looked up to the teacher and cleared his throat, "I think he is just a little flustered ma'am." He said.

Hours went by after the class was finally dismissed.

Xavier was walking back to the door as he looked at his watch, 06:30 AM. He sighs as he looked up to the sky and noticed the skies were starting to shine red. The sun was close to rising. He seen some of the other students rushing by as though they were in a hurry before the sun would take it's place.

He finally arrived back to his dorm and entered his room, but he had forgot he was bunked with the Brunette.

As soon as class ended, Shailoh was out, pushing through the crows. Emmet sighed softly and gave both Vlad and Xavier a glance before following after the fuming brunette. "Shailoh! Stop. Where are you going?" He asked, voice a little worried when the brunette tensed. Shailoh's pupils had narrowed to slits and the glare he was shooting the redhead made the older vampire take a cautious step back.

"Dorm. I want to take a bath." He snarled, voice far softer than it should. Before the redhead could respond, he was storming off, leaving Emmet staring at him in worry. This kind of thing never meant well for either anyone. He sighed softly. Perhaps he should consult Vlad about what best to do. Maybe keep those two away for a while.

Thankfully, Shailoh arrived in the dorm first, and proceeded to strip as soon as he was in the bathroom. Taking a quick shower, he drew himself a freezing bath, enough to see the surface coat with thin ice before dumping himself in the cold water and fuming. It helped cool the head, and besides, he wasn't really going to get sick. He just needed a meal after. The brunette sighed softly and closed his eyes, willing himself to sleep. Emmet would kill him if he knew, but screw that.

Xavier laid on the bed and pulled a book from his drawer and opened to the last page he had read. He found the mark, a ribbon colored in red. It was a gift from his adopted father whom took him in and before he departed from the school, he was given a simple red ribbon. There were words on it, scribbled in an old language only higher vampires can read. Unfortunately he was not one. He looked at the black letters written on the ribbon and touches the smooth surface of it and flipped it up and begun to read a page. A book of mystical creatures and myths.


Vladimir, the silver hair boy walked over to a table and sits on the top of it while placing his feet on the bench. He looked at Emmett and sighs softly. "Those two are gonna kill each other soon." He softly says. "But good thing that will not happen." He reached into his book bag and grabbed a brown leather book and opened a page. "According to this, it is actually normal for the mates to fight and bicker." He chuckled and looked up to Emmett with a odd expression.

"It says how biting another vampire can cause affection...would you like to read it yourself?" He asked showing the book.

Eskel quickly takes the book from Vladimir and examines it. "It is crap." He says, "But it is also true." He sighs.

He had fallen asleep in the bath, the cool water lulling him into slumber. Without him knowing, Shailoh's body slid under the cool water completely concealing him from view. While he didn't really drown in a sense, the water sliding into his lungs was something that would definitely be a hazard to his health. It was one of the reasons Emmet tells him not to fall asleep in the water, not that he ever listens.

Meanwhile, Emmet stared up, eyes glazing over slightly before he was jolted from his thoughts as Vladimir approached. Chuckling slightly, he fixed his glasses before noticing the odd look. "What? I'm sure it doesn't apply to all couples. Shailoh and Xavier take it to a while 'nother level though." His voice was laced with worry once more and he sighed softly, before smiling slightly at Eskel and unconsciously leaning towards Vlad.

"Why? Have you bitten Aster before?" He asks, talking about their little rebel of a friend who was probably still serving his punishment from His family up north. Taking the book, he hummed softly and read it. "I know... But it also looks like they'll be susceptible to stupid decisions." He grunted, eyes roving the page with focus.

Xavier read a few pages from the wood and sighs softly. After a moment of silence, he felt an urge in his throat as though he was being drowned. He was hardly breathing and held on his neck as he got up from his bed, tossing the book on the side and quickly walked towards the bathroom. He grabbed the door knob and noticed it was lock. He started banging on the door as loud as he could. 'Shailoh, what are you doing?' He was thinking in his head. He banged louder and harder as his breathing was becoming quite harder to grasp.

Vladimir places his chin on Emmett's head and placed a arm around his shoulder and looked at Eskel after getting the book back. "Yeah, speaking of which, have you heard from him yet?" Vladimir asked as he looked at the book.

Eskel sighs and folded his arms. "Ask Emmett." He says.

The serenity of the bath waters were untouched, Shailoh sleeping on as if the water filling his lungs didn't bother him, which it didn't. Except, he still might accidentally kill his undead self if he stayed under there for too long. Small bubbles of air broke past the surface before settling once more, the brunette completely unaware of what was going on around him as he drifted closer to slumber. His usually pale pink nails started to turn purple, water almost completely filling his lungs as he unconsciously slept to his death.

"When have I become the go-to when one of them is missing?" Emmet asked with a quirk of his brow. "Aster should be back here by..." He glanced up, as if checking the time. "I heard he was supposed to be here tomorrow, but knowing him, he's probably in your room already. Or maybe on his way here. Who knows?" The redhead said with a slight shrug, seemingly leaning closer to Vlad. "And you didn't answer my question. Did you bite Aster?" He asked with a sly hum, unaware of the blonde sneaking up behind them.

"I don't ask you if you've been bitten before." There was an irritated drawl at the end of the sentence as Aster appeared behind them, arms crossed and gray eyes narrowed. He kept the cross look on for a while before breaking into a wide grin. "Hi. Missed me?"

Xavier could not breath, he long for air as his fist pounded on the bathroom door. He pounded for help, but no one came. He finally used his power to push the door open, forcing the lock to break as the handle flew off and landed on the ground. Xavier runs inside, barely reaching for the mirror aid kit box.

His eyes quickly catch the young vampire in the tub filled with water. He moves to the tub and his arm reached in the water towards the naked body. His hand touched his shoulder, moving his shoulder slightly to wake up. He felt his lungs ready to burst and his throat crushed. He growled as his hand grabbed the boy's neck and lifted him up from the water and in the open air. Xavier couldn't use muscle alone, he had to use his power to lift the boy up.

Vladimir turned his head slightly to see the boy behind them with a smirk on his face. He didn't smile or changed his expression when he had seen him. "Oh...your back." He said softly.

Eskel was surprised to see the boy had arrived back. He didn't sense him, which was odd for him. "I knew that place couldn't hold you for long." Eskel said with a smile on his face as he leans again'st a tree with his arms crossed.

Something wrapping around his neck seemed to wake him up and all of a sudden, he was drowning. Or at least his body realized it. Out of reflex, he hauled himself up, coughing water from his mouth as it poured from his body. His lungs ached as they squeezed out every drop, causing him to gasp and whimper for a few good moments before glanci g up at Xavier, the one vampire he didn't want to see regardless of the situation.

"What are you do-" his words were cut of as he let out a watery cough, water spilling from his nose and causing pain to shoot up to his body. He needed to hang upside down for a while. He tried reaching for his towel as he wheezed, feet unsteady as his body took matters into its own hands by forcing his lungs to squeeze out the liquid inside.

Emmet shook his head and chuckled at the blonde, who proudly puffed out his chest and shot them all (though he will argue that it was aimed more at Eskel) a big grin. "Of course! Breaking out took me a day easy!" He said, bounding over to Eskel's side. "Why? Didja miss me that much?" He teased, earning another chuckle from Emmet.

"You fried the security system again, didn't you?" The redhead asked, causing the blonde to flinch. He meant it as a joke but with that being said, hus eyes narrowed and he stood straight, giving the blonde 'the look' that said he was in trouble. "Aster..." His change in tone prompted the vampire to bow his head and kneel down.

"Don't tell mom and dad." He said, knowing that they'd send him back up there to fix it. Again. Emmet sighed.

"They probably know already." He grunted, watching hus friend flinch at the words.

In the Dorm Room...

Xavier coughed finally as he started to breath air through his lungs and collapsed on the side of the tub and held his throat. Gasping for air and breathing hard, he felt his face turning red after a long time of no breathing. He felt his eyes filling with water and for no reason, doesn't understand why. He finally gets up from the floor after catching his breath and looked at the boy in the tub. "I couldn't breath." He finally said.

In the yard...

Eskel placed a arm around the small boy at his side and smiled. "No one cannot keep this tiny mouse in a cage, not even in the pits." He said with a laugh. He looked up to the skies and notice the sun was getting closer to shine. "Time to go to sleep." He said to the group, "Come on you." He said as he picked up the small boy and places him over his shoulder, making his shoulder like a chair and carried the boy to the dorms.

Vladimir looked up and sighs softly as well. Placing the book back in his bag and soon followed the two. "I had be researching on the love level...it is said if the connection is strong, they can start feeling each others pain, or feelings....sometimes it also can help sense their presence." He said to Emmett. "But...more on that later." He yawns as he places a hand over his mouth. "Gotta study on my other classes."

Choking on his breath, Shailoh leaned off the tub and tried to clear his head. When it did clear, he paused and gave Xavier a look of complete and utter surprise. "What?" He rasped, when the last of the water has left his lungs. Then, he realized that he wasn't wearing anything and promptly sunk lower in the tub. "Who the hell cares?! Get out!! I'm in the bat!!" He yelled, cheeks burning with his lack of modesty.

Already quite used to his antics, Aster let out a bark of laughter and balanced himself on the other vampire's shoulder. "Off to bed!! First to the room gets to use the bath first! Go!!" He said enthusiastically, , resting on Eskel's shoulder in a relaxed manner as they walked back to their room. He seemed plenty content at the moment.

Emmet, on the other hand, sighed softly and crossed his arms, brows pulled together in worry before sighing again. "Everyone's such a handful." He murmured, shaking his head in defeat before chuckling softly at Vlad's expression. "I can help you study if you want." He offered, walking in step with the other vampire.

Once after catching his breath, Xavier gets back on his feet while holding his throat as he was catching his breath. "Shut up." He says while he was standing at the sink. "Who the hell sleeps in the tub filled with cold water anyways?" He asked, looking over his should. But his cheeks turned red when he noticed the other boy was nude. "Um." He says softly after rubbing his neck. "Just..stop falling asleep in the tub, or I'll drown you myself." He says then walks out of the bathroom. He was about to close it, but realized the door was smashed in, and broken off of the hinges.

As he drew closer to his bed, he could feel his throat feeling sore and his lungs hurting. He groaned as he laid on his bed and took the pillow to his face and breathes slowly. He slowly moves his head and noticed the book on the floor. He slowly reaches for it and brought it close to his body and did not move an inch on the bed. He closed his eyes as he felt his eyes drifting him off to sleep.


Evening...

Xavier woke up as he felt his body feeling warm and his body soon became restless. He slowly sits up and sighs heavily while rubbing his eye. He looked around the room and sees the other boy sleeping as well. He sits on his bed and his feet touched the cold floor. He moved his neck around the sounds of popping could be heard, and he stretched with his hands in the air. Standing on his feet and slowly looked in his drawer and finds the clothes he wanted to wear. A black shirt, black pants and black shoes.

He straightened his hair out before he left the room. Leaving the other boy to either keep sleeping or do his own business.

Xavier walked on the side walk as the cool breeze flow around him. But that was when he heard a sound. Grunts and punches. He looked around and noticed the gym's light was on. He went to investigate.

Once inside, he sees Eskel. The tall and yet muscled vampire punching a punching bag. The sounds of his punches were heard loud and clear as he throws a strike. Eskel sees Xavier and stopped for a moment to wipe the sweat off of his brow. "Xavier, glad to see you are still alive." He says. Xavier smiled as he sat down on the bench while keeping his hands in his white sweater he put on before leaving the room.

"Am I always?" He asked. "Are you here alone?"

The night was young, so it was much too early for Shailoh to be awake. The minute he stepped out of the bathroom, fully clothed and cheeks still burning, he had stopped to glare at his roommate. The moment he did, his throat dried up, and his body shook. It hit him with such force that the brunette physically stumbled back, clutching at his throat as he used his abilities to keep his voice down, as well as the sound of him crashing to the floor. It took a while for him to calm himself.

Green eyes dilated as he slumped towards the sleeping figure. He leaned down, staring at the vulnerable figure on the bed before gritting his teeth and looking away. Fortunately, there was a marker on the bedside table. Feeling anger well up on him, he grabbed the pen and with a muted clatter, glared down at the vampire. As gently as he could, he doodled on his face, giving him a panda eye and curly moustaches with a goatee. Leaning back to admire his handiwork, he added an 'x' to the other eye before nodding to himself in satisfaction.

As evening came, he easily woke with the shuffling from the other bed, but kept on pretending to be asleep, bidding his time until he heard the door open and close. Green eyes flashed in the dark and he jumped out of bed, and counted before bolting out of the room. His destination was simple and he immediately barged into the room he knew all too well. "Emmet!!! Emmet!!" He yelled, loud enough to wake the redhead while he used his abilities to direct the sound towards the said vampire's bed. Without a second thought, he launched himself on the bed, cackling softly as Emmet woke with a soft 'oomph!!', looking a bit disoriented at the unusually happy brunette.

"Shai?" He murmured, glancing at the clock at his bedside table with squinted eyes. Turning back to look at the other vampire, he realized that the other was in his sleepclothes, namely, his boxers and a really thin sweatshirt that hung so loosely around his body the redhead swore it could slip off any minute. He yawned. "What are you doing here?" He murmured, sitting up as the shorter vampire adjusted to sit on his lap. An unusually happy Shailoh meant something bad happened. He frowned.

The brunette grinned and shrugged. "Nothing. Just wanted to hide out here for a while." He said with a small grin. Emmet didn't look the least bit convinced but raised a brow when he heard Shailoh's stomach growl loudly.

"You could've woken Vlad, you know?" He chastised, knowing that there's no way he would be getting any more sleep with the way Shailoh was asking. The brunette raised a brow.

"Sure I would. If he was sleeping in your bed." He responded in a clipped, but smug tone that was easily countered by a look from the redhaired vampire. "Where is he sleeping by the way?"



"Does he look like he's alone?" The voice came from above, where Aster was hanging upside down from the ceiling, eyes closed and looking like he just woke up. The shorter blonde was rubbing his eyes blearily and blinking at them before breaking off into loud laughter. "Bwahaha!! Nice Face!! Ha ha ha! Shailoh got ya goo-Kyaaah!" The taunt was immediately caught off when he laughed too hard and slipped from the beam, plummeting him headfirst to the floor.

Eskel watched as the small boy fell on the ground. He shook his head as the giant stood over him. He picked up the body and patted his head. "No need to laugh at him for being a idiot." Eskel says as he tossed a dry towel towards Xavier, and a water bottle as well.

Xavier touched his face and finds a smear black ink on his finger. He closed his eyes and gives an angered expression. "Shailoh." He muttered under his breath. When he felt the towel and water bottle in his hands, he squeezed the bottle over one hand and splashed the cold water on his face and started rubbing the ink off and scrubbed it with the towel. After a minute or two of washing his face, he looked at the two with a blank expression. "So.." He spoke softly. "How long have you two been together?" He asked with a clear tone.

Eskel looked at Xavier with a raised eye brow and looked at the small boy. "You can answer that one." He says as he placed his hand behind his head, giving him a gentle push.

Vladimir awoke to the sounds of another entering their room. As he felt the skin of his friend laying next to him and the bed moving quite erratic. He takes in a deep breath as he could be heard and face the other way, his body facing the wall as he leans closer to it, feeling the nice cool wall touching his arm and legs. "Shailoh, please don't be too loud." He said softly as he hid his face under the covers, and burying his face in his pillow. He gives a soft yawn and his hand met his face, rubbing his eyes and cheeks as he finally leans up and looked at the two. "Why so early?" He asked softly as he moans.

His hair was fuzzy, his body lazy, and his voice was chill. When he would breath through his mouth, the cold air could be seen. "I hate mornings." He finally gets up from Emmetts' bed and walked slowly towards the bathroom. "Shailoh...get dressed." He says softly to the boy. "Your nakedness is showing." He joked, but didn't laugh or scoffed.

Aster let out a soft whine of protest, but was obviously a lot better now and actually nuzzled into the touch, not that he hasn't been doing that as of late. "Yeah. Shailoh got you good. What'd you do to get him angry?" The blonde asked, standing on his own legs and stretching, bending over backwards and doing some sort of acrobatic backflip and landing on a sitting position with his legs crossed.

Glancing up at Xavier, he looked a little shocked, almost a bit insulted by the question before sighing softly. "You were always too busy in that game of cat and mouse so I'm gonna forgive you for not noticing that we've been together since, well, you know, a month before school started this year?" Aster said with a nonchalant shrug. "I thought everyone knew." He looked up at Eskel and frowned slightly.

"Maybe it's because you haven't bitten me in me in a while?" He asked, sniffing himself slightly. He did smell a bit like him, but not that thorough. Then again, he guessed that the smell always lingered there so it wasn't that noticeable. "Hmph...."



It was a little amusing to see Shailoh startle at the sight of the other vampire in Emmet's bed. His green eyes widened and he had the decency to blush at the words, though he didn't get off Emmet and his stomach kept growling softly. Both of them watched him get up and stalk off towards the bathroom. Shailoh shifted slightly on the redhead's stomach before exhaling. "He sure is grumpy when he wakes up." Shailoh muttered.

"He prefers waking up in a more comfortable manner, and not by your rude entrance." He chastised, not feeling the least bit guilty since Shailoh definitely deserves a scolding. "What if my mate and i were doing something and you barged in like that?" He added, watching the boy's ears turn just as pink as his cheeks.

"We-well, you should lock the door and--" Shailoh paused, blinked, stared down at Emmet with wide eyes and promptly gasped. "You're mates? What?" He asked, looking quite confused, despite Emmet's pointed look. "But, but... but.. the smell." He whined, immediately pouncing on the redhead and pressing his nose against Emmet's neck.

Unfortunately, that was a sensitive spot that had the redhead flailing and yelping at the same time. "Shailoh! Stop it! Off! Off! OFF!" He scolded, trying to get the other off him and to stop sniffing him.

"That is because I do not want to see you fall unconscious like last time." Eskel replied to the boy as he looked at the punching bag. "You fainted and haven't woke up in two days." He raised up his hands and formed a fist, punching the bag hard and grunted as he does so. "And beside, you smell like cinnamon when you bit me." He smirked over his shoulder. He stopped and walked back to the two and sits next to Aster. Taking towel not too far away and started wiping the towel on his head, removing the sweat and took a steady breather.

Xavier looked at the two as he finished wiping his face and tosses the water bottle back to Eskel. "Wow, I mean...wow." Xavier says softly. "Eskel you are a very big guy and well...we all seen what you eat at the cafeteria. So drinking or biting someone and taking more then your fill could kill someone." Xavier explained for a moment. "Wow.." He blinked a couple times, "I sounded just like Vladimir.

Eskel laughed and places a arm around Aster as he places the bottle on the ground. "Eh, maybe next time I'll take little bites."

Vladimir reached for his tooth brush and pour a little bit of tooth paste and started to brush his fangs and teeth. He continued brushing until he heard the yelping sounds from his mate and slowly walked out of the bathroom only to see Shailoh sniffing the other. He watched as he slowly brushed and brushed, allowing his mate get sniffed. He lets out a soft sigh as he raised up his hand and used his power to cause a cold chill around Emmett's neck. Once he stopped he looked at Shailoh while still brushing his teeth.

"My power keeps the smell off of him." He explains with a soft voice. "Since the cold flows in my blood, it kills almost anything that has an odor." He stopped brushing and left the stick in his mouth and looked at both of his hands. A white glow shined on his palms and reached for his neck, covering the bite marks where Emmett had bitten him. "And I keep the scent off of me as well, though normally the scent would not be on me, but still. Better safe then ever." The glow disappeared and his hand reached for his brush, his other hand reached up as well using his power to cover around Shailoh's neck. "There." He said, "Now you don't smell like Lavender." He yawns as he walks back in the bathroom.

Aster scrunched his nose, seemingly a bit offended. "Oh don't worry, Xav. I can handle this big guy just fine. Plus," HE grinned. "I've been trying to drink more so he could drink more. Though... Well..." The blonde eyed Eskel for a while, before leaning against him with a hum. "Little bites should work. You need to maintain your diet after all." He joked, patting his mate on the back.

"But enough about that. I heard you bit Shai. Finally making a move?" The blonde teased, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. "Are we going to have to soundproof our walls anytime soon?"



There was a surprised sound from Shailoh and Emmet stilled, feeling the familiar coldness seep into his skin. Shooting his mate a thankful look, he pushed Shailoh off him, rubbing at the bitemarks hidden underneath his clothes that the brunette was previously checking. "Exactly. Now, will you stop sniffing me?" He asked, voice stern as he yawned and stood up. Obviously, he wasn't going to get anymore sleep.

"But since when?" He asked after a while, expression akin to a kicked puppy. "Why didn't I know?" He asked, giving both of them an accusing look. Glancing over at Vlad, he decided to pass that question to his mate as it was his turn to use the bathrooxm.

Xavier eyes widened when he heard Aster asking him about making a move on Shailoh. His cheeks blushed and he got caught tongue tied, his words stammered. He takes in a deep breath and exhales slowly. "Well...no." He finally says, "I um, donated him flood since he didn't had his fill of the day and we were both locked in the detention rooms. I ended up fainting and was in the hospital wing and he came around offered the same thing I did for him."

Eskel rubbed his chin as he listened to the two. "If you didn't study on the vampire history..." His brain somehow spoke his mind. "Wait...I had forgotten you are still new to the Vampire Order, are you not?" He asked calmly.

"Yes?" Xavier replied in a questionable statement.

"I see." He looked at his mate before staring at Xavier once more. "Then you ought to know, if one chose to live as mates, the proper way is to bite one another." He explained, "First there is the smell...then there is the feeling each other's pain, example." He gets up and walks over to Xavier and kneels in front of him. He stared for a moment before his hand suddenly moved quick across his face. The sound of the slap echoed in the room.

"AH!!" Xavier screamed as he felt the sudden slap and looked at the man, "What the hell was that for?!?!?!" He shouted.

"Relax." Eskel raised another hand, but showed his palm. "Ask Shailoh if he had been felt pain today." He walked back over to Aster and kneels down next to him, "I am going to take a shower, don't be late for class...okay?" He leans forward and kisses his mate on the forehead and stood back up. "I will see you at lunch time." He smiled and then took his leave.

Xavier watched as the big man leave and looked to Aster. "He does know you can't go back to class right?"

Vladimir yawns as he walked out of the bathroom after finishing brushing his teeth. He looked at Emmett when Shailoh asked the question of how long they had been together. Vladimir scratched his cheek and looked at the two. "Um." He thought for a moment, "We will be celebrating our first anniversary soon." He admitted and looked at Shailoh with a blank expression. "And like I said...my powers kept our scents hidden, but his goes away quickly once he bites me." He releases another yawn and goes to a dresser and looks for clean clothes. "It's the ice in my blood, which reminds me. Are you feeling better from the brain freeze?" Vladimir asked Emmett looking over his shoulder.

Aster looked completely amused by everything, even laughed loudly at Xavier's expense before leaning back and watching everything unfold with amusement. When his mate came close and pressed a kiss on his forehead, the blonde blushed slightly and beamed up at him.

"Okay. I'll see you later." He responded, smiling softly as he watched the larger vampire leave. Humming at Xavier's question, he raised a brow before shrugging. "No. But I'm not going to class later, even if I'm not supposed to show up until tomorrow." He responded, with a grin. "I am dropping by for lunch though. My parents are probably going to pull me out at some point of the day to scold me though." He added with a sad sigh, knowing he was in trouble. Standing up and stretching, the blonde vampire grinned.

"Well, I'll see you around. And you should probably take a bath." He advised. "You smell just like Shai. Unless, well..." He hummed teasingly. "You took a bath with him last night and had fun? I didn't see you two earlier, but meh. See ya!" And with that, he walked out of the gym, probably planning on hiding out in his dorm room.



Emmet glanced over his shoulder, toothbrush hanging from his mouth as he looked at his mate with a raised brow. The look was almost teasing and Shailoh felt himself blush as he watched his friend flirt with his other friend, leaving him in an awkward position. Finishing up with brushing his teeth, Emmet strolled towards Vlad and lightly pressed a kiss to his lips.

"I could use one right now though. Might wake me up a bit." He purred, pressing another kiss to his mate's mouth before stepping aside and walking towards the dresser to look for some clothes and his towel. "But it's better now. Thanks. Sorry for drinking too much last night." He added.

"Ow!"

Red eyes glanced at Shailoh, who was holding his face in his hands and in that second, Emmet's switch flipped and the redhead glanced at the smaller vampire with worry. "What's wrong?" He asked, watching, the brunette rub his cheek.

Shailoh whined. "Did you use your powers to slap me or something?" He asked, pouting slightly while the redhead raised a brow at the accusation.

"You know, if I wanted to slap you with my powers I would've done it when you barged in." He said, watching the brunette whine slightly. "But I think you should get back to your room though." He said, furrowing his brows as the brunette nodded, heeding his words and exiting the room. "Do you think it had something to do with Xavier?" Emmet asked his mate once he was sure Shailoh was out of hearing range.

Xavier watches as the other leave and he finds himself alone once more. He looked around the fitness room and looked at most of the heavy objects. Things humans normally lift to look bigger and increase their muscle span. He smelled his arm once to see if the other was telling the truth. Mint Lavender, he thought in his head. He liked the smell and smelled it once more, taking in a deep breath and exhales slowly.

He stood up and left the gym as he heard the showers in the back and the big guy humming to himself. After he left, he was walking again around the recreational area. He looked up to the sky and sees the bright stars shining down upon him. He rubbed his cheek where Eskel had slapped him earlier, he groans as he continued to walk though class was just an hour away. And his stomach growled, so he walked to the cafeteria to eat.

Vladimir returned the kisses his mate had given him and gives a small smile. When asked about Xavier's involvement, Vladimir gives a soft chuckle, but barely a smile. "You remember that first time you felt pain from me, I was just reading a book and you were playing tennis. You let the ball hit my face and you held your cheek and we both laughed." Vladimir looked at his clothes and looked for accessories to wear.

Folding his arms together and looked at some of his jewelry, rings, necklaces, and even earrings. "If Shailoh felt pain with no one here to touch him physically, we have to assume Xavier was hit."

Humming in thought, Emmet nodded, lips quirking up at the memory. "Hey, I made it up to you before bed." He said with a laugh, winking at his mate suggestively before letting out a soft sigh and drawing close to his mate, resting his chin on Vlad's shoulders. "You should wear that one." He murmured, tilting his head at the direction of the necklace with a light blue stone.

"But I'm a little worried... Those two have always been stubborn, and knowing Shailoh and Xavier, one or both of them would deny being mates." He said softly, trying to cuddle close to his white haired mate, rubbing his nose in his mate's neck, playfully nibbling at his skin before pulling away. "Should I really worry though?" He asked uneasily.



Returning to his room and getting ready for school was easy enough since he didn't see Xavier hanging around in the room. Already wearing his uniform, he walked out, making sure to have his things with him when he bumped into a certain blonde vampire, who raised a brow at the bruise forming on his cheek. "What?"

"You got decked?" Aster asked, walking beside him as the brunette snorted. "i can't go to school yet though, so spill, while I'm still here. My mate's probably a little hungry this morning so I've gotta go check on him." The blonde added, making Shailoh blush at the insinuation.

"A-ah... Well, Em slapped me but denied slapping me." He murmured, giving Aster a curious look before the blonde let out a lough. He noticed the subtle scent lingering on the shorter blonde. "Hey... You smell like--"

"Nah. He hasn't fed yet, though I'm hoping he will.' Aster seemed to tilt his head for a moment before grinning. "Well, now that I'm satisfied seeing your sorry mug, you better get something to eat. Oh, and try to not share baths with your mate in case ou want to stay in the river of denial. Ciao!" He said, bounding off before Shailoh could respond, leaving the brunette blushing slightly before hufing indignantly as he went to get himself some breakfast.

Vladimir heard the concern in his voice. The sound of being worried for his friends. Looking at the necklace he pointed at earlier, he touched the surface of the necklace with his finger and then to his mate. His eyes faced up to the ceiling and pondered. "It can't be denied." He said to him. He returned the gaze back to the necklace and picked it up. Placing the accessory on himself. "If any two vampires bit each other, then it is life pair." He looked at a long sleeve white shirt and a pair of black skinny pants. "They have to accept it, otherwise moments like these will last for a long time."

He turned around to face his mate. "I wouldn't worry about them." He admitted, "The connection is strong between the two, even if they hate each other." Vladimir placed his arms over his mate's shoulder and clasped his hands together. "Don't worry, they'll over come this obstacle." He smiled and placed a kiss on his mate's lips.

Eskel had Aster pinned on the wall as he had his fangs dug deep in his neck. The sounds of slurping and sucking echoed in the room followed with moans from Eskel as he savored the taste of his mate's blood on his tongue. Eskel had to lift up the little vampire with his arms and held him in a hug. But Eskel was hungry that morning.

Eskel was wrapped with a towel on his lower waist, his skin dripped with water and hair drenched, but left a shampoo odor lingering. His moved his head away from the boy's neck and sighs in relief. Teeth bloodied and tongue covered in red.

He carried Aster to his bed and laid him down. "Thanks love, I needed that." He says and takes off the towel and wiped his mouth with it. He looked in his drawer and found clothes ready for him to wear. A tight gray shirt and blue jeans and white socks. The smell of Aster would become a part of him and Eskel would know that. "Now. I have to see Vladimir about covering your scent, I know you like it. But one whiff while in class, I doubt the teachers will ignore it." He looked at the tiny vampire on the bed and smiled. "I love the smell too." Then he winked.

Xavier was in the diner hall. He had a trey and a pouch of blood with him. He sat on the seat and looked at his food. His mind was empty as he stared at the delicious meal, but his stomach was not feeling the hunger, except for the blood pack. He puts the straw in his mouth and takes a small sip and sits quietly.

Emmet sighed and leaned closer to his mate, lips chasing after his before he snorted. "I know. I'll just have to hope they can get over their pigheadedness before this gets destructive." His expression sours for a moment. "If that does happen, I am definitely going to use my powers on the,. Just saying." He threatened, despite neither of the boys being there in the room.

"C'mon... As much as I'd love to eat you right now, I just drank from you last night and I don't want to have a brainfreeze first thing in the morning." He joked lightly, gathering his clothes and making sure he was presentable as he waited for his mate.



Aster wasn't surprised when he was pinned to the wall as soon as he entered the room. The blonde let out a soft whimper at the immediate sensation of teeth piercing his skin as a loud moan reverberated from his mouth. His hands automatically gripped Eskel's hair, tugging lightly at the strands in attempt to pull the larger vampire closer to him. He forgot how voracious his mate could get.

The soft whimper that escaped him when he was set down on the bed was of obvious disappointment, and he whined at the loss. Immediately, he felt sleepy, eyes droopy and glazed. "Mhmmm... They probably won't let you go if they smell me on you." He teased, but his tone was very sleepy. It was normal though, and he should be fine by the afternoon. The small blonde whined softly at his mate's statement.

"I know you do, but can't you stay here? For just a while longer?" He whined, pouting up at his mate as he curled on the bed. It was annoying that he wasn't supposed to show his face in class until tomorrow, which meant hiding out in the dorm and that didn't sit well with him. "Please?"



The cafeteria was lively as usual and Shailoh found himself chuckling softly at his own sarcasm. There were a few students milling about, most half-asleep and others, not looking vaguely interested in what they were doing. His cheek throb and he sighed, trying to ignore the pain as the most delectable smell washed over his nose, causing his stomach to growl.

"Food. ASAP." He muttered to himself, pointedly looking anywhere but at Xavier, obviously ignoring him. It was a little weird though, since there were still people looking at him weirdly. Maybe it was because he looked like he got punched? Not that I care. He thought, biting down into the bloodpack that strangely tasted like ash and grime in his mouth. Yuck.

Xavier rubbed his cheek where Eskel had laid his slap upon. He rubbed it gently to dull it's pain he could still feel. Though there was another disturbance he felt. He looked around and noticed the brunette was sitting on the other side of the room. Ignoring his presence of course, which didn't bother him as much.

He takes a drink from the blood pouch and his tongue wiggled in delight. He looked at some of the food that was on his trey and sighs in a small relief. He takes a fork and poked at some of the fresh cooked delights. He could smell the food, but more importantly, he could smell his scent, including Shailoh. He growled as he dropped the fork and rubbed his neck where the brunette had bitten him. He thought about a shower after finishing his meal and before going to class. His eyes was surprised to see a silver hair boy sit in front of him. Vladimir.

During their little walk after changing into proper clothing. Vladimir guided his mate to the cafeteria. His satchel filled with books and notes, including some items he randomly carries. As he walked in, he noticed Shailoh was sitting on one side and Xavier sitting on the other. He exchanged glances before looking at his mate and gives a blank expression. He nodded towards Xavier first. He was quiet most of time as he walked towards the serving area and got his meal for the day. Taking his trey and walked casually towards the dark hair boy. He dropped his bag on the side of the table and placed his trey down and sits in front of him. His silence acknowledged his presence as his blank expression and dull eyes stared at the young vampire. "You still stink." He said, his nose filled with the scent. He looked at his mate and gives a slight nod.

His hand reaches up towards the boy's neck. A white glow shined towards his neck and a cold grasp clenches on his skin. The cold made Xavier shiver for a moment and lets go. Xavier touches his neck and looked at Vladimir. "What the hell?" He asked in shock. But the smell was gone, he no longer smell the scent. He was surprised as he continued touching where the bite was.

Noticing the look on his mate's face, Emmet sighed softly and went the other way, not exactly startling Shailoh who glanced up at him with a look of disdain on his face. The redhead noticed that the brunette looked hungry, though the meal in fron of him was relatively untouched, save for the bloodbag that he guessed didn't taste as good as it usually did. He sighed softly. "Come on, get up. I want to eat with Vlad and I don't want to see you sulking there." He said, gently urging the younger vampire who grumbled but followed after him.

As Emmet sat down beside his mate, Shailoh realized that the only other available seat was beside Xavier. Before he could say anything else though, the brunette snorted. "What happened to your face?" He distinctly remembered drawing on him, but he didn't remember slapping him. Sitting as far as possible as he could, he lowered his head into his arms, exhaling softly as his stomach growled.

Xavier eyes looked, but his face remained still. He noticed the red spot on his cheek. "What happened to yours?" He replied back.

Vladimir reached inside of his bag and pulled a book out and opened where the book mark was placed. He held the book neatly with his hand while his other hand was poking and picking up some of the food. He took a bite now and then while he read the book. He pretended to not listen to the two bicker again. As he read the book continuously, he released a soft sigh and picked up the blood bag and dug his fangs in and started sucking out the red liquid ooze.

The bag emptied pretty quickly and left not one drip behind. His tongue licked his teeth and lips, covered in red. He looked at his mate for a second and smirked slightly. "You took more then you intended." He said softly.

Xavier blinked several times and looked at the two. "What?" He asked plainly.

Eskel was on the phone and was talking to some of the teachers he had for class. "Thank you for understanding." And hangs up the phone.

"Well good news." He said to the boy on his bed. "I can take take the day as a sick day, though it was quite hard to explain the teachers what a bad blood bag was like." He chuckled as he sat next to the vampire laying on his bed. "But they believed it." He smiled as he started grooming his hair and stroke it gently. "Plus my father will understand as well." He smiled, his fang revealed. "Not everyday you get to date a Vampire Lord's son."

Eskel history was hidden from the others. He never really talked about it much. Being a friend or mate with a Vampire Lord's children was quite dangerous. Especially Eskel's father. Whom was so easily swayed by anyone. Even Eskel had a tough time trying to persuade his father to allow him to date anyone. In exchange, Eskel would take have to wait for a thousand of years to be the next Lord of the house.

"Emmet happened." Shailoh responded, before noticing the look Emmet was giving him. "What? It's the truth." He complained, noticing how his friend's eyes were studying the similar marks on their cheeks. The redhead looked a mix between amused and irritated as he stared at them both.

"I've told you over and over again, I didn't hit you. You'd know because I never hit you hard enough to leave a mark." Which was quite true. Shailoh snorted and glared back at Xavier, though he still wasn't touching his food, obviously wondering why they were even sitting together.

The brunette sighed. "You didn't answer my question though. Was it too hard for you?" He sneered, ignoring the way Emmet rolled his eyes in favor of lightly leaning against Vladimir. He never used to notice how touchy those two were before, mostly because Emmet wasn't shy of giving hugs when needed, and Vlad may be a bit strict, but he was one Shailoh was sure they could rely on. However, the comment had him blinking curiously up at them. "Is that why you're limping?" He asked Emmet, who whipped on him with a look, a faint trace of red on his cheeks.

"Shai, do yourself a favor and shut up." The redhead said with a level voice, enough to make the brunette awkwardly look away to the side. Sighing at the response, he turned to his mate and shook his head. "Sorry 'bout hat. I might've gotten carried away." He murmured, gently bumping knees with his mate under the table as an apology.



"I'm just glad I could get you all to myself for today." Aster agreed. He knew his mate's circumstances, and was more than willing to keep it a secret. Personally, he's only met Eskel's father once, and it was one of the most awkward events he ever attended. Sitting up, he stretched, tilting his head just right so the larger vampire could see the expanse of his neck. It was probably a good thing that Aster was the kind of vampire who quickly replenishes lost blood.

"So, what does bad blood taste like? Not like mine I hope?" He joked, tugging his mate down to the bed and curling up beside him, snuggling close. It was nice. He wasn't very small, but he was small enough for most to tower above him. Not to mention, he wasn't as fragile as his body suggested, which was why he was more than willing to go at it with his mate, who was far larger than he was.

Leaning up to press a kiss to Eskel's lips, he lt out a hum and playfully bit his mate, before returning back to snuggling. "Do you think the others are going to storm in here if they hear you've got blood poisoning?" He asked with a chuckle. It happened once. He still couldn't forget the look of horror on Emmet's face when he walked in on them, though the poor guy was probably just worried for Eskel's well-being.

Xavier suddenly felt like eating. As though a great deal of anger or depression entered his mind. He looked around and back to his friends. He noticed the two were always sitting next to each other during lunch, class, dinner. Even when going out for fun. Finally he realized there was more going on with the two. "Um." He muttered quietly.

Vladimir smiled when he felt his knee touched under the table and looked at Emmett with what seemed like a happy expression as he continued to read the book with one hand and take bites of food with the other. Then looked up to Xavier who seemed confused. "He um." He cleared his throat, and finally closes the book and placed it on the edge. "Emmett here took some of my blood packets last time and I got a little hungry afterwards." He smiled at Xavier. "So I had only one blood pack." He placed his hands under his chin and looked at the other two. "So...both of you stopped smelling like lavender....and fresh spring?" He looked oddly at the brunette.

Xavier scoffed and touched his neck. "I still can't believe his mark is still there." He felt the holes where Shailoh had pierced with his fangs. But also be could feel the cold numbing his skin. "Hey....why is my skin cold and numb?" He asked Vladimir.

"Don't worry, you'll get use to it." He reaches for his book again and begin to read where he had left off. He looked up again and noticed the mark on Xavier's face. "So...what really happened to you?" He asked as his eyes was staring at the dark mark on his face.

"Yeah...." Xavier said softly. "I guess Eskel had a mean hand when he slaps people around." He chuckled nervously and rubbed his cheek.

Eskel smiled at the other and enjoyed the comfort he was giving. "Last time they came in unannounced, they couldn't look at us normal for days." He laughed as he gets up from the bed and takes off his shirt. His body was tuned from going to the gym and excercise for hours. His abdomen was sharp and hard. He looked in the drawer and finds a grey tank top. Once he had it on, he jumped on the bed and placed his hands behind the back of his head. He smiled at the other vampire. "Your blood taste sweet.....have you been going through my sweet jar again?" He looked for a jar and smiled. "I believe you have." He returns the gaze back to his mate. "Bad blood would taste like something sour and you would gag on it. It's poisonous to us and would kill us." He started grooming his mates hair and stroked it slowly.

He remembered when he first met the boy. During their gym class. He smiled and looked at the other, "Tell me." He spoke gently. "What was your first thought when you first saw me?" He asked as his eyes examined his.

"Ah... no surprise there. I'd slap you if I could." Shailoh said with a smile that was poisonously sweet. Emmet frowned at this and gently nudged his friend in warning. The brunette just rolled his eyes and looked away, knowing that he couldn't start a fight so early in the morning. His stomach rumbled loudly, and his mouth was dry, but it seemed as if he didn't notice this as he instead rested his chin on his palm, humming a song that sounded like...

Emmet smiled. "Is that Bella Ciao? He asked, trying to change the topic and keep Shailoh from brooding. Shailoh only nodded, humming the song softly under his breath. Emmet had heard the song before. It was fast, but the other versions were slow, like this one. Ah... Now he was worried. He glanced at Vlad again and sighed. "So... How was your evening?" He asked.

"Fine. Nearly drowned in the tub as usual. The good stuff." Was the immediate answer before the brunette cringed, risking to glance over at Emmet who stared at him with wide, horrified eyes. "Oh fuck, spare me the lecture." He said, as soon as Emmet's mouth opened. Standing up abruptly he stalked off, leaving the three of them while Emmet steeled his emotions. Just because they have been friends the longest never meant Shailoh was any less rude at times. He sighed softly.



Aster gave a low rumble of appreciation at the base of his throat, chuckling softly as he leaned closer to his mate. "And so? I needed the energy refill." He murmured under his breath, relaxing under his mate's touch. At the question, he tilted his head and let out a boisterous laugh. Of course.

"I wondered how it would be like to be as tall as you." He said with a grin. It was true. Eskel was probably the tallest of their little group, while Aster was barely beating Shailoh in the height department. He had been small, frail, all his life. So when e was turned, it was a pleasant surprise to find out how limber and flexible his body was, not to mention how light. But it would be fun to be the big guy once in a while though. "I thought you were tall, that's why I asked you if I could ride on your shoulders." It was the first thing he said, he remembered, being his determined self before scrambling up the other boy and triumphantly enjoying the view. "I wasn't too heavy that time I hope."

Xavier shook his head slightly and looked at his meal. He felt his stomach urge for a moment and sighs. He pushed the trey gently away from him, eyes closed and sighs heavily. He looked at the trio and stood up from his seat and straightened his shirt. "I..um...I'll be back." He said softly and held his hand to his lips as though he felt an urge to vomit. He walked to the nearest restroom with the male icon.

As he walked in, pushing the door open and walked in as fast as possible. He sees many of the stalls open in the room. He rushed to one of them, closing the door behind him. Kneeling down with his face aimed, he shivered as he felt his stomach started to churn. He groaned with a moan, breathing heavily.

Vladimir sighs as he watched his friend leave the table and to the restroom. His eyes switched to Emmett with a curious look. "You....should check on him." He said with a gentle tone. "I think his blood bag is bad."

Eskel smiled as his arm wrapped behind the boys' neck. His hand touching his gentle skin, his nose filled with an interesting aroma. "Your not that heavy." He chuckled.

Emmet blinked, giving his mate a curious look. "Are you sure?" He asked, knowing that Xavier wasn't that dense. Still, he stood up, slowly making his way to the bathroom when a brown blur dashed past him. The redhead blinked is surprise when Shailoh barged into the washroom. Retracing his steps, he sat beside his mate with a rather perplexed look. "We should tell the guidance about the two of them being mates." He said.

Meanwhile Xavier found himself rushing to the bathroom, a little disoriented and confused by the sense of urgency in his system. Knocking on the lone, closed stall, he cleared his throat. "Open up, or I'll break in." He warned.



Aster grinned, before letting out a loud yawn. "Or maybe you're just really, really strong." He murmured, rolling himself so he was on top of his mate. "I'm sleepy. Play with me a bit so I can wake up?" He mumbled.

Xavier looked over his shoulder as he heard the strange voice demanding his opened the door. He was breathing a little heavy for a moment as he still held his hand near his mouth. He slowly stood up from his knees and faced the door. He lifted the latch and opened the stall. His eyes had met with Shailoh's as he stood there in front of the other vampire. His eyes tensed as he stared at the other. His breathing stopped, his stomach stopped, and his thoughts had stopped.

He felt an uncontrollable urge that forced him to push the other male again'st the wall. Pinning his arms on the wall, his body pushed again'st his. His fangs revealed and rushed into Shailoh's neck and pierced his flesh. Xavier's eyes closed as he sucked on the neck of his foe. He moaned gently as he felt the blood rushing in his mouth and wet his tongue. His hands kept a tight grip on Shailoh's arms. The bite lasted for only a minute, and Xavier finally pulled himself away. Stepping backwards until his back met with the stall. He was breathing in exhaustion and sits on the ground. He wiped the blood on his lips and looked at Shailoh, then looked away. Silence filled the room.

Eskel looked at the young male and smiled. "You should rest then, and you'll be fine afterwards." He said while getting out of the bed. He turned around, and leans down to kiss the young vampire on the head. "I'll be later with some blood bags. I know you like the one with sweets, so it'll take a while to find them." He walked to his dresser and find his shirts. He placed one on. The shirt he worn was white, it was tight around his body and it was perfect as it flexed with his own body. "If anything else, you have my number right?" He asked as he reached for his cell phone.

Shailoh didn't expect to be roughly manhandled against the wall, and he had half the mind to shove the stupid vampire off but all thoughts vanished when he felt teeth sink into his neck. For one, his eyes rolled back and his knees buckled, a loud, needy moan escaping his lips as his hands weakly gripped Xavier's shirt. He gasped softly at the sensation, feeling heat pool in his gut and down his chest.

Then, it was over.

Stumbling to keep upright, the vampire blinked, still disoriented at the sensational overload that may or may not have affected him. His feelings were everywhere; he could feel the smug satisfaction and giddiness running through his veins. He blinked.

"What the fuck Xavier?" He asked, getting on shaky feet before halting when he realized that there was this sweet, lingering smell in the air. Blinking at the other vampire, he scrunched his nose, ignoring how his fangs sharpened and how his mouth watered.

Aster giggled softly and nodded. "And milk please!" he called out, stiffling a yawn in the process. His eyes drooped and before he knew it, the blonde was out cold, a small satisfied smile on his face as he curled against the pillows that smelled strongly of his mate.

Xavier felt a sensation burn on his neck. He touched the collar of his shirt and sigh softly as he pulled. He felt odd and begun to rub his neck. "I..." Xavier stuttered. "..I...can't help it." He eyes moved to only met with his. He noticed the other looked him with a hunger on his face. Xavier eyes widened. "W-wait!" He pleaded for a moment.

Vladimir continued to read his book while poking some of his food. He hums softly and places the book down and looked at Emmet. He sigh softly and smiled. "I think they'll be alright for now." He could smell the hint of lavender and another fragrance leaving from the restroom area. "I don't think they feed on each other since they been in the detention room." His knee touched, and his eyes didn't leave his.

Shailoh stopped in mid-snarl, retracting his fangs rather painfully. Realizing what he was about to do, he stared fearfully at Xavier. Hand over his mouth, he bolted, rushing past the crowds with practiced ease.



Emmet nodded, but his eyes were still on the restroom door. Faintly, he thought he saw Shailoh dunning out, but the vampire was too fast for him to do anything but blink. "Are you sure?" He asked nervously. Shailoh was never one to run away from things. What had caused such a reaction from him? Emmet bit his lip slightly. This didn't bode well.

Xavier walked out of the room as he rubbed his neck and sigh softly. He slowly made his way to the table with the others and looked around. He felt a cold chill on his neck and looked up to see Vladimir had used his powers again to isolate the smell on him. The scent was gone in a few seconds. Xavier looked away as he continued rubbing his neck, and licked his fangs. Wiping the blood on his lips. Then finally, his eyes only met with a glare from Vladimir.

Vladimir never glares so much, it was very rare for the vampire. His glares are usually a hard stern stare with no blinking expression. "You were suppose to let him feed on you." He gently says. He sighs and his knee gently touches Emmetts. "Otherwise both of you are going to continue to feel disgusted...after all...you two are mates from now on."

Xavier's eyes widened as he heard what Vladimir had said. He slowly looked at Emmett as though he was looking towards to confirm Vladimir's claim. "Is it true?" He asked softly.

Emmet looked helplessly at his mate. He really wanted to make sure his childhood friend was okay, and he had a sinking feeling the poor boy was busy vomiting all that blood he drank from the cafeteria. After all, the blood he should drink was from his mate.

Focusing on Xavier, he sighed softly. "What do you think, Xav? Are you mates?" He wanted to be clear with this. Shailoh was starving, but the boy ran off in fear of losing more blood and complete and utter confusion towards the situation.

"Go after him. He's probably starving, even more than you are." He said softly, seeking solace in his mate when he lightly brushes their hands together.

Xavier sighs and looked at the two briefly and stood up from his seat and tugged on his uniform. "Fine." He muttered. He followed the trail or the scent as he could smell Shailoh. He felt it was odd to smell another vampire. He continued following the scent for a while until he started climbing stairs which went up.

A exist door had a sign said 'Roof Access' and it seemed it was opened recently. He gently pushed the door. A glimpse of the other vampire was near the edge. Once he opened the door completely, he stood there quietly. Xavier sighs while walking to sit next to Shailoh.

Once he sat down, he could see Shailoh's face in pain as though his stomach was urging. Xavier blinked several times before saying a word. "Your hungy." He said. "And...I remember you feeding on me first...so I screwed up the feeding moment." He rubbed his neck as he felt another burn. "I need you to feed...alright?" He looked at Shailoh while pulling on his collar. "I hate you....but you need to feed."

Emmet watched the other vampire leave. With a soft sigh, he dropped his head on Vlad's shoulder, a small look of worry etched on his face. "Do you think they'll be fine?" He asked softly, shifting so the position would be nicer on his neck.



Shailoh's throat ran dry as the sweet smell of blood wafted from the door. He covered his nose, growling under his breath as he swore to the skies above. When Xavier approached, the vampire flinched, scooting away from him.

"Which part of me trying to get away from you do you not understand?" He hissed, but his effort of trying to leave was visible. His stomach growled and he looked away weakly. "Just leave me alone, Xavier. I'm not in the mood to talk to you." He said in a small voice.

Vladimir placed the book gently on the table. "As long Shailoh feeds on him, he should be." He spoke softly. "That's why I let you feed on me first, because you bit me first...remember?" He asked, his nose dugged into his hair and inhales slowly with a smile.

Xavier sighs again and this time, gets back on his feet and kneels in front of Shailoh. Pulling his collar again and reveal his neck. "Just feed...alright?" He said again and closed his eyes.

Emmet exhaled, chuckling softly as he relaxed into his mate's familiar touch. "Mhmm. It was your fault you got bitten though." He said, idly picking up the book his mate and flipping it open to a page. "Those two are stubborn though."



"No!" He snarled, having a hard time keeping his composure. Standing up, he walked backwards, a little wary and very nervous as he covered his mouth. His fangs had grown out of his mouth, glinting under the light. His pupils had dilated and Shailoh staggered back. He was famished. But he didn't want this. No, he knew what this was. He could only guess, but he didn't want this. Not like this. Eyes longingly glanced at the other vampire's neck, and he gulped. "Stop trying to tempt me."

Vladimir chuckled and nuzzled his nose with his mates hair. His eyes opened to see his mate opening his book. Staring at the words of each page, he chuckled again as he read. "You just couldn't handle it." He spoke softly.

Xavier sighs again as he sees Shailoh's hunger. He stands up and walks slowly towards him. "I told you before back in the isolation detention center, you could turn into something bad if you don't feed." He revealed his neck again. "You need to feed....I hate to admit it and tell you....but....you and I have no choice to feed on each other now."

Emmet glanced at his mate from the corner of his eyes before shrugging, not denying the accusation. "Don't even bother. You enjoyed it." He snapped the book shut, and with confidence he only reserved in the bedroom, he tugged Vlad's face down, playfully sucking his lower lip and coaxing his tongue out to play. Pulling away with a small smirk, he pressed two more chaste kisses on his mate's jaw before assuming his reading as if nothing happened. "Well, with the way I was limping the next day, I was positive you enjoyed it." He said happily.



"I... Why? Do you get what this means?" he said after a while, flashing his fangs angrily. "I'll be mated to you. I hate you. You hate me. I don't want a mate who loathes me and vice versa." He hissed, but the obvious way his eyes kept glancing the area of his pulse. His throat felt dry. "You're testing me. Stop it. You know you don't want me as a mate. Run while you still can." He hissed feeling himself grow weak. He blinked the haze out of his eyes, tongue trailing out of his mouth.

Xavier only looked and listened to the other as he complained about the situation they were in. "Yes...I know." He admitted. "It's already too late anways." He said again as he stepped closer and closer to the other. As he was inches away from the other. Xavier pushed the weak vampire on the ground and laid on top of him. "You need to feed you idiot!" He said aggresivly as he pinned Shailoh's arms down. "Just feed right now and we'll talk about this later." Xavier looked the other way and tilted his head.

Vladimir chuckled as he looked at his mate. "If you was limping, that mean't you had a good time. I was still laying in the bed and had to rest for a few days." He released a sigh. "I just remembered something." He looked at his mate with a concern. "Xavier's adopted father once bit him." He looked at his book and touched the cover. "I remember seeing that happened once, and that was the only time as well." His eyes returned to Emmett, "It's always common for those who were bitten by their masters...but for Xavier's father?....I never heard or seen that before." He sighs again.

Shailoh let out a weak yelp before gritting his teeth. In a surprising burst of strength, he rolled them over and pinned Xavier down, licking his lips hungrily. "You asked for this." He warned, though there was obvious pain in his eyes. With slow movements, giving the other enough time to push him away, he brushed his nose against Xavier's neck. Shailoh breathed in,before baring his fangs and biting down harshly.



Emmet hummed in response. "You're the one who fucked me against the wall." He said, Matter-of-factly. "I don't really know much about Xavier's history, he didn't seem too comfortable sharing it with me." Emmet admitted with a sigh.

Vladimir chuckled, "That is because you never asked about everyone's history before " he smiled. "I met Xavier when he and Shailoh first head butt's." He reaches for his mates hand and held it firmly, "Technically, Xavier said it was his adopted mother who converted him. But the bloodline still remained shared with the original host, which would be his adopted father." He sighs as he leans his head down on the table. "I seen where he lived before we came back to the school, met his adopted parents...they are really nice."

Xavier was shocked and surprised when he saw what strength he had left. He watched as the vampire licked his fangs and licked his lips. He was breathing, both thrill and fear. When he felt Shailoh bit his neck. Xavier moan and gripped on the vampire's head. His eyes shut tight and expression created with pain. Xavier had his hand on Shailoh's back and gripped on his shirt. Pulling him closer as he feed.

"I just don't want to intrude." Emmet hummed softly, before chuckling. "You did mention that before, about how nice his parents are. They'll probably be happy about this development, given that Shailoh's a bit of a blueblood. Not purely though."



Groaning softly as the sweet taste of blood filled his senses, the brunette began to him, before pulling away. He didn't drink much, just enough to have someone his stomach. It didn't stop him from running his tongue over the healing bite marks and pressing light kisses on them. The blonde then pulled away, forcing Xavier to release him as he sat on the other vampire's stomach. "I'm good now. Thanks."He said softly, feeling something slide down his throat as he looked at his new mate.

Xavier sighs in relief as she looked up and observed the other male. His eyes wondered around on his body. His hands reached up and touched the male's thigh's and slowly moved up. His fingers touched his chest and soon his palm. He slowly and gently pushed the male off as he pulled his own legs.

He sat there for a moment in silence. He finally leans forward and kisses the other on the cheek and stood back on his feet. He walked away as fast as he could. He returned back to the others in the kitchen and remained silent.

Vladimir smelled the familiar scent as he noticed Xavier returned holding on to his neck. He looked at his mate and smiled. "Well...he fed." He said softly. His hand reached up and used his power. A cold chill went around Xavier's neck as he stopped and looked at Vladimir, then to Emmett. He only looked as he grabbed his bag and walked away quietly.

Vladimir looked worried as he watched his friend leave quietly without saying a word. Tapping on his book, he firmly grips on his mate's arm. "Maybe it's time for a small vacation?" He asked casually. "It seems we all need a break from here...I wonder if the Dark Forest is a good place?" He wondered.

As the other vampire left, Shailoh sat there, looking completely dumbfounded as he pressed a hand over his cheek. Blinking slightly, he shook his head and shakily stood up. He needed a breather. With a sigh, he dusted himself and straightened, looking as dignified as possible as he walked out of the school. Maybe he needed to give his parents a visit.



Emmet watched Xavier with a small sigh before sliding closer to his mate. "I agree. This weekend sounds good, though, we may have to hunt for Shailoh first. You know how he is when he's visibly upset." The redhaired vampire said, before exhaling once more. He pushed his glasses up on his nose before looking at his mate. "Do you need to give Xav a talk?"

Xavier was sitting alone on a bench outside, looking up at the stars above him. He heard foot steps shuffling towards his way. He didn't bother to look or see who it was, but he know who it would be. Vladimir sat down next to the young vampire and looked up at the stars as well. Watching the sky twinkling brightly. The two remain in silent for some time.

Vladimir finally breaks the silence with a question. "Want to go camping?" The young vampire was surpsied by the question. "Camping?" He replied, "During day light hours?" He looked at his friend with a concern.

Vladimir only smiled and looked up at the stars again. "Not when you're in the Dark Forest. The sun never shines there." Then his eyes rolled down to his friend while facing the sky. "Myself, Emmett, maybe Eskel and Aster...and Shailoh."

Xavier growled when he heard the last name. "Why bring him along?" He asked distastefully. Vladimir sighs softly. "Do you hate him now?"

Shrugging the question and remained silent for a moment. "Come on buddy, you can talk to me." Vladimir placed a arm around Xavier's shoulders. Xavier pulls away slowly. "Hey, don't do this now. Come on, we been friends for a good long while now...tell me what's bugging you."

With a heavy sigh, Xavier finally gets up and moves away from Vladimir. "He just..." He growls in frustration. "He reminds me of my adopted father...after he fed on me, I felt hated after that." He turned his head, facing Vladimir. "Shailoh reminds me of that." Then he looked away again.

Vladimir stood up and hugged his friend from behind. "Hey...Shailoh ain't bad, only if you two stop head butting each other, maybe he will start liking you." Xavier glomps after that. "Yeah well...he still an idiot." Xavier takes in a deep breath and exhales shaprly. "Okay fine...I'll go camping with you two."

The next night, Vladimir was bringing out large bags of clothes and other items he wanted to bring along for the trip. He noticed Xavier was there as well with a big bag. "What about tents?" Xavier asked his friend. "Don't worry about it, we have the tents...Emmett and I have been prepared for this." He smiled as he placed his bag in a black dodge, with black tinted windows. On the license plates was one simple word. "Vladdy" The silver hair vampire sighs, "Damn my sister for buying this car as a gift." He smiled at his mate.

Eskel was not far behind as he dropped several bags. One was really heavy, and the other felt very light to him. But he didn't question his mate of what he brought for the trip. "We're here too." He said aloud for everyone to hear. "And don't worry, we'll follow you in my truck." He looked over his shoulder of a brand new Ford, four doors with tinted windows. Midnight purple color. And a big guard grill with cable wiring.

On his plates, was one word as well, but with a number. "Z3RO" He liked how it read and thought it was funny.

When Emmet tried to look for Shailoh an hour later, he wasn't exactly surprised to find the dorm room empty. With a soft sigh, he made his way out of campus and took a short ride to Shailoh's mansion. Or their family mansion at least. He wasn't surprised to see neither of his friend's parents, given that they were probably out of the country, but he did know that Shailoh was in his room. The door creaked open and he peered in, not bothering to raise a brow at the lump on the bed.

"Shai?" He asked softly, padding in and sitting beside his friend. He could see Shailoh's eyes were red-rimmed, and his brown hair messy. "Have you been crying?"

"No."

The answer was Curt, and a little broken, but Emmet understood. He just patted Shailoh's head. A few minutes later, the brunette shifted and the redhead snuggled with the smaller male in his arms. "What's Wrong?"

"Everything. I don't want him." Shailoh sniffed sadly. "I don't want a mate that hates me. I started all this because I didn't eat once. And then this happens." Emmet pressed his lips at the response. "I'm not fit to be a mate." He whimpered softly and Emmet sighed, pressing his lips against Shailoh's temple.

"You know, you should... Give him a chance. Get him to love you then." He said, lifting the smaller's face so he could wipe the tears with the pads of his thumb. "Come on. You'll be fine. He'll be fine. You two are food for each other." A pause. "I think." Shailoh laughed at that, before hugging Emmet tightly. Emmet smiled. "We're going camping. Pack a bag." He said, but didn't make a move to stand up.



Emmet stepped out of the building with some bags of his own. He also had a few papers that pretty much excused their group for their excursion. As he handed his mate a bag, he looked up, looking around curiously for Shailoh before chuckling when a sleek, black '67 Chevrolet Impala drove into the space beside Eskel. "Well, I'm surprised his father allowed him to bring the car." He remarked.

Aster jumped out from the passenger's, no doubt he just waited by the school gate and hopped in before Shailoh could even stop. "Don't worry, I brought food." Well, mostly. Aster intended to steal his mate's nightclothes after all, so he only brought two changes of clothes.

Emmet, on the other hand, tried not to snort when he saw Shailoh step out if the Impala. He had a mask covering his nose and shades covering his eyes, no doubt trying to hide the evidence that he was crying all night. Instead, he sighed softly. "I brought the drinks, just like you asked." He murmured.

When everyone had arrived, Xavier looked at all the vehicles, he notices everyone brought their own. Except him. He did not mind though however, he preferred to leave his brand new Ferrari back at his family house. Figured the vehicle was not a road vehicle. He looked at Shailoh's car, a 67 Impala.

His eyes were on the car before turning his gaze to the brunette. "Nice car." He said softly, picking up his bags and walked towards Vladimir and Emmett. He gives his bag to Vladimir, whom took the bag and placed it in the back.

The white hair vampire looked at Xavier for a moment and nodded towards Shailoh. Xavier felt frustrated at first, but then sighs softly.

Eskel walked up to the Impala and quickly grabbed the little vampire. "There you are!" He laughed as he helped pulled the little one out.

Xavier walked up to Shailoh and looked at his bag. He quickly grabbed the strap and pulled it up. "I'll take it." He said soflty, but his eyes barely gazing up to the brunette. "You...you alright?" He asked as he noticed the mask and the shades.

"It's my dad's Shailoh said, voice muffled by the mask." He gazed at the Impala and smiled softly. It was probably considered vintage already, but his father liked this car. Even though he had to modify the insides so it actually used audio jacks and USB ports instead of cassette tapes. Shaking his head, he watched as Aster squealed in delight, jumping on his mate and forcing Eskel to look up at him before engaging in what he hoped was a greeting kiss and not something they used in the bedroom.

Emmet saw the uncomfortable shift between the two as he shook his head and cleared his throat to get their attention. "Alright. Just follow us." He said, taking note of how stiffly Shailoh slid in, though he unlocked the door for Xavier.

"I'm fine." He wanted to snap and tell him that it was none of his business but Shailoh knew that it wouldn't bode well for either of them. He snorted softly under his breath as they pulled out.

Eskel pulled the little vampire down a litte as he looked up. His lips met his and smiled afterwards. He carried the little vampire mostly to his truck while picking up the bags.

Xavier looked at Shailoh before jumping in the Impala. He looked around inside and noticed how digital it was. He looked for seat belts.

Once all three vehicles started to leave, it took several hours to arrive at their location. It was the dark forest, though it was a comfort place for vampires. Vladimir pulled up to a old lodge building, but the size was almost like a mansion. There was already someone waiting for them by the door. A servant, a young male vampire.

Before he opened his door to step out, Vladimir looked at his mate. He leans to his side and kissed his lips. He smiled slightly and opened his door. Stepping outside to get his bags, including the others.

Xavier was sleeping mostly on the way up, once or twice he accidently leaned towards Shailoh's, but woke up only to move back to the door. Once he woke when the vehicle stopped. He looked at the building and yawns. He stretched and rubbed his eyes. "Well..." He said as he opened his door, "Um...." He looked at Shailoh. "...let's have fun..."

Eskel pulled up next to the Impala and got out right away. He walked to the back of the truck and reached for his bags. He looked around the forest and smiled. "This place would be a great for a jog." He placed one bag behind his back and the other at his side.

Shailoh glanced at Xavier and nodded uncomfortably. The butlers had already started unpacking their things, but what caught Shailoh's attention was when Emmet rounded on Vlad and pinned the taller vampire on the door, practically attacking Vlad's mouth with his own. He blinked uncomfortably and looked away, the action unnoticed behind his sunglasses.

"We're sharing a room this time," Ememt murmured against his mate's lips as a warning. The last time they went outing, the two were forced to get separate bedrooms, and obviously, Emmet wasn't happy about that. Finally releasing his mate, the redhead composes himself and fixes the butlers a smile, following his mate inside.

Once more, Shailoh grimaced. It could only mean that he's still sharing a room with Xavier. Hefting the only bag he insisted he carry, he nudged the other vampire to follow behind Aster and Eskel.

"I'll join you. I could go through the trees. Those places are always best." Aster said with a hum. The blonde did enjoy moving around, and it didn't surprise anyone that he would want to join his mate for a jog. They could already guess that he'd ride on the larger vampire's shoulders the entire time instead though.

Vladimir was caught surprised by the sudden move, and only smiled at his mate. Vladimir looked at the old lodge and walked beside Emmett. "Well, it is a good thing my parent's finally approved." He stopped and spoke to the young servant. "Claud, it is good to see you again."

The servant smiled and bowed to Vladimir. "It is good to see you as well Lord Devon." The servant spoke clear and formally.

"Claud, thought I ask you to speak to me normally like a person?" Vladimir chuckled with his hand covered his mouth.

"Sorry sir, it is a habit of ours." The servant bowed again.

"Emmett, you remember Claud here. The Head Servant of the family." He reintroduced the two, then he looked back. "Also, Claud. This is---"

"Damion Ramses Eskel." The Servant said interrupted. "First born and next in line of the Royal Famiy of the East Empire." Claud quickly bowed to the vampire. "It is an honor to be in your presence sir."

Eskel only laughed, "Please, just treat me like the others here." He dropped one of the bags and held out his hand. "And just call me Eskel." He smiled, waiting for the gesture.

Claud looked up, smiling and shaking his hand. "Very well sir."

Xavier stood behind the others with his head down. Staring at the ground with his mind occupied. He quickly walked past the others while introductions were being made.

"And this is Aster Milkovich, Eskels' mate." Vladimir added.

"Ah, it is an honor to meet you as well, Aster." Claud bowed once again.

"This is Shailoh Von Karma." Vladimir walked behind the short vampire with his hands on his shoulders. "He will be bunking with Xavier..." He looked around and noticed the vampire had already walked in the lounge and continued walking. With a soft sigh, he leans down and whispered in Shailoh's ear. "Can you see what is bugging him? He's been rather pale for a while now."

Vladimir took a step back and looked at his mate with an expression of worry.

"Pleasure's mine." Aster returned with a grin, though the delicate bow he returned showed his high class upbringing. Snuggling up to his mate, the small blonde let out a yawn. "Maybe we should take a nap first before scourging the forest?" He asked Eskel, watching Shailoh return the greeting with a stiff nod.

Emmet, on the other hand, grinned at Claud, having been acquainted with the other quite some time ago. "How's it been? Last I heard you scared off three newbies." He said conversationally, falling in step with his mate and the servant. He had reached over to grab his mate's hand and was giving him reassuring squeezes as Shailoh disappeared from view.

Following his mate —the word was bitter on Shailoh's tongue— into the lounge, he breathed in, using his powers to sneak up to the other male. When he was within reach, he grabbed Xavier and dragged him inside the nearest room, Swift and quiet. Once inside, he shoved the other up the wall.

Shailoh felt his face burn as he tugged at the buttons on his shirt, revealing his neck. "We'll talk once you get some blood in you. Don't make this any harder for both of us." He warned quietly, knowing that they'd get nothing said and done if this continues. He pressed himself closer to the other boy, trying not to meet his eyes even under the safety of the glasses.

Xavier's eyes widen when the brunette dragged him into a room and pinned him on a wall with his bare neck exposed. Blinking several times, he looked at the neck, seeing his vein flowing with his blood. With a slow gulp, he placed his hand on his mate's neck. Gently caressing his skin as he sniffed deeply on the skin. Xavier felt his tongue wet and fangs ready to pierce. His other hand gripped on his shirt as he pulled him closer, holding rather tight.

His mouth opened, his fangs barely touching the neck. He stopped suddenly and pulled away. "I can't." He said softly.

He pushed the other away and remained still on the wall. His eyes on the floor. "We do need to talk." He admitted. His hand reached out for his and guided the vampire to the fireplace nearby. Sitting on one chair, he waited for the other to do the same.

"I..." He stopped with a shudder. "Once, when we always fight each other. I took a break from school and went to see my adopted family. One night, I was in my room and was studying for finals. I guess my adopted father was hungry for blood and....well." The dark headed vampire shifted his body and revealed his neck. There was another mark of a bite.

"I was feed on....now I can't be mate's with anyone. I've read somewhere in a old book, once you been bitten by the original carrier while already a vampire....your just cannon fodder." The dark held his arms close to his chest. "That's why I let you feed on me."

"So that's it?" Shailoh asked, looking completely unamused. "For someone so smart, you sure surprise me at times." He said, crossing his arms and scowling. "Tell me one thing, your body recognizes me as your mate, right? Because it's common knowledge, mating bites are never one sided." He said, green eyes narrowed at the vampire in front of him.

His eyes narrowed slightly. "So if you need me to override that claim mark and replace it with my own, tell me. You're my mate, even if you don't want me, and I'll still do all I can to make you happy." Shailoh sounded a little aggressive, but when didn't he? He always sounded aggressive when he was trying to make a point.

Tugging his collar again, he swallowed. "So I don't really care. Just feed before you pass out and get sick out of hunger." He said with a scowl, voice growing rather soft.

The dark head vampire blined in confusion several times, even opend his mouth, but no words came out. He stuttered a few words, though still felt surprised about Shailoh's acceptance. Xavier ponded for a moment and stood up, walking over to Shailoh as he remained sitting while revealing his neck. Xavier doesn't lean, he doesn't kneel. He placed his body on Shailoh's laps. Staring at the eyes of his new mate, Xavier leans down and kissed his lips as a lover. Pulling a inch away with his eyes closed and his breath shuddered. "I want to make you happy too." He whispered.

An hour passed as Vladimir started placing his pack on a bed and looked through his items. Checking to make sure he had brought everything. If not, he could always ask Claud to bring him something. Speaking of the devil, there was a knock and Claud entered, not waiting for a word.

"Sir, you are needed at the front entrance. Pack Leader Vincent would like to speak with you. Normally he would speak with your father, but since he is absent, the duty has fallen to you." Claud placed his hands behind his back and waited.

"Pack Leader Vincent?" Vladimir surprised about the news. "Oh yeah, he is in charge of the Werewolves in this area." Then he chuckled. "Okay, I'll go talk to him." He looked at his mate and kissed his lips before taking his leave, caressing his cheek before pulling away. "I won't be long." He said softly.

At the front entrance, a young man, short brown hair in a messy style. Wearing long blue jeans, a white shirt, and brown boots. Masculine due to his nature being. A Werewolf.

Vladimir walked steadily as he approached the man. He smiled as he appeared. "Vincent, it's been too long!" He shouted across the way. Vincent smirked as he had his arms folded. "Too long." He replied.

The two hugged and shared a few joys. "What brings you here." Vladimir asked as he placed his hands behind his back.

"Came to let you know. Don't let anyone wonder in the forest." He warned. "We brought in a new born, but apparently he freaked out and went feral. Now he can't change back and is killing almost anything in the woods. We found several humans and vampires ripped to shreds. Also..." His eyes gazed at the ground. "....a fellow Wolf was killed as well."

Vladimir sighs and shook his head. "This is not good. I'll ask Claude to lockdown the area and double up the guards." He gives a slight bow. "You have my sympathy for your loss."

"Thank you." Vincent said with sorrow. "We'll let you know if we find the Feral. Until then, stay in doors. I know you biters got powers, but fighting a Feral is really tough. Last I heard, it took 20 Biters to destroy One Feral. But with us, it's easy. Because we know how to fight our own kind."

Vladimir nodded in agreement. "I'll make sure everyone stay's in then. Hope you find him soon, we have plans." Then he smiled.

"No worries." Vincent gives a salute with two fingers before walking away.

Vladimir was at the front door where Claud had waited. "Lockdown the area, and double up the guards. There is a Feral on the loose, and we can't take any chances. Is everyone accounted for here?" He asked with a worried expression.

"Uh....I think the dark hair boy left earlier. I saw him walk out after spending time with...Shailoh is it?" He touched his chin trying to remember. "I think it was Xavier who took a walk through the forest."

"We better find him." Vladimir quickly rushed past him and hurried to his room. Opening the door quickly, he opens his bag again and searches for a book. A specific book which was more like a guide about Ferals. "We have to find Xavier." He said in a urgent matter. "There is a Feral on a loose, a Werewolf Feral." He looked up to Emmett with a worried expression.

At some point, Shailoh had to remember that he was in the forest floor. He didn't remember how he got there because the last of his memories said he was standing up. Now though, he had his eyes closed, lips chasing after his mate's softly, and stealing another peck before he blinked hazily at Xavier. Shailoh swallowed, as if he couldn't comprehend what was happening before his face burned bright red. He clicked his tongue and looked away, green eyes burning.

"I'd be happier if you fed." He muttered, though his words held no bite at he tried to softly guide his mate to the area where neck met shoulder. "Go on, you need to eat and we need to get back soon." He added.



Emmet had gravitated towards the bookshelves after he had unpacked, mostly. He always gravitated towards the books here and it was no surprise that an hour in, he had a thick book on his lap, a historical journal of ruins this time, and a small smile on his lips. He did look up at his mate though and gave him a small nod, watching Vlad leave the room.

Not a minute in, Aster bounced inside, looking quite happy as he strolled in. Emmet peered up at him curiously before trying to stifle a chuckle. "What are you wearing?" He asked their small friend. The blonde beamed.

"Stargazing gear of course!" He said with a large grin. The oversized shirt over his underwear was understandable, though Emmet had half the mid to scold him about stealing Eskel's shirts again, but the hiking boots and the thick blanket around his neck just made him look slightly ridiculous, in an adorable way. Emmet shook his head. Aster pouted. "It looks weird, doesn't it."

Emmet nodded. "A little." He wasn't able to add anymore when his mate ran back into the room, beelining for the bookshelves with his lips set into a grin line. At the explanation, Emmet was up, and Aster was removing the blanket off his shoulders. "Where did Xavier go? Is Shailoh with him?" He asked.



Despite his mate's protest, Shailoh had pretty much manhandled Xavier into feeding from him. He had relaxed under the treatment before a low growl forced him to sit upright. Green eyes scanned the trees before they fixed on a pair of mismatched eyes. A pair of blue and green stared at him as he made the form out. "It's feral." He said, getting ready to use his powers against it to defend them.

The Feral stepped into view, maw bloody and foaming. It's ears were pinned back and it's fur bristled on end. Shailoh swallowed slightly. The Feral was slight, which meant it was fast, though it was rather on the smaller side, so he was guessing that it was still a pro. It's midnight colored fur glistened under the Fading light as it growled lowly again, eyeing it's prey.

Xavier looked at the Feral creature with eyes widen. He stepped back slowly close to Shailoh. "Just run." He spoke softly as he looked around and found a large heavy stone nearby. He used his powers to pick up the stone and toss it at the monster. The Feral growled as it charged, but was quickly hit by the stone. Flying away 20 feet or so. The Werewolf yelped as it was struck.

Xavier grabbed Shailoh by his arm and quickly ran in the opposite direction of the Feral. Running as fast as he could. The air suddenly became sulky. The Feral was on their trail and was catching up. "Come on!" He shouted as he kept running.

While they were running, Xavier was suddenly ambushed by the Feral. Being grabbed as the Feral came out of nowhere. Falling on the ground downhill into bushes and twigs. The forest echoed in snaps of twigs breaking.

Xavier hits the bottom hard, his head lands on a stone and knocked him unconscious.

Vladimir and Eskel ran side by side as they entered the forest. "Just to let you know." Vladimir looked at his Eskel then his eyes gazed to his mate. "Feral's are quite stronger than us." His warning was concern, but stopped when he heard a sudden noise of twigs breaking. "They're close!" He said as he looked around, but he tried sniffing. His power kept him from smelling anything, so he looked to the others to see if they have caught their scent.

Aster was running alongside Eskel when he gasped and began veering right. "This way!! This way!!" He said, spurring Emmet to swear softly and pick up pace. By now, they could hear low swears and the sound of footsteps.

"They better be alright." Emmet mumbled softly.



While they were running, Shailoh was shoved to the side, causing him to fly against a nearby tree. His eyesight watered and he shakily stood up before running after the pair. As he reached the bottom, his chest burned. His mate lay unconscious while the Feral circled Xavier. Growling loudly, his green eyes blazed.

The sound of his snapping fingers was so sharp, you could see the physical soundwaves whipping the air. The Feral yelped and stopped back, turning it's eyes on Shailoh. The vampire growled back.

Then he whistled. The sharp sound grew louder and louder, higher and higher until the regular humans would be unable to hear it. The Feral, on the other hand, was a different matter. It wailed loudly, whining and rolling in pain as it tried to cover its ears. The sound was in the aid, only raising in intensity until the Feral slumped, mouth foaming and ears bleeding. He didn't give it any attention, despite the Feral shifting back. His only concern was his mate.

The others crashed into the scene just then, Emmet raising a brow before hurrying over to Shailoh and Xavier. "Are you two alright?" He asked softly, seeing as Shailoh was still a little tense. The brunette nodded and he sighed. Aster, on the other hand, glanced at the Feral, who seems out cold and very much human.

"Wow. I forgot that your parents teach you how to take shifters down." The blonde commented in awe. He forgot how strong Shailoh could actually be when provoked.

Vladimir quickly kneeled next to Xavier. Watching over him while Eskel. Eskel watched the human body as he started to move again, regaining conscious. "Uuuuh....guys?" He alerted the others.

The male groaned as his body arched upwards, gritting his teeth in pain and soon screamed in pain. His body transformed once more back to being a Werewolf. Snarling and growls as it clawed the ground. Fur sprouted from his skin and his ears and mouth grew into a muzzle. Sharp fangs snarled at the group with it's unmatched eyes.

"Crap." Eskel stood in a certain stance with his fists formed.

The Werewolf howled in the air and then glared at the group. His extended his arm out and sharp claws revealed. Pushing his long fingers deep into his ears, the Werewolf yelped at first, but still growled as it destroyed it's own ears, becoming deaf.

Eskel was about to charge, though he heard more branches and twigs breaking from a different direction.

Another Werewolf jumped out of the bushes, his fur color grey and black with white eyes. Lunging at the Feral, the two interlocked with each other. Clawing at one another and exchanged bites. The second Werewolf pushed the Feral away from the group of vampires as blood dripped on the ground and splattered around.

"It's Vincent!" Vladimir watched as the battle took place.

The two Werewolves kept moving away from the group and soon fell down another hills. The growls and yelps faded as the two put distance from the Vampires.

"Eskel! We need to get Xavier back to the Lodge!" Vladimir stood up and looked at Shailoh. "You alright?" He asked.

Emmet exhaled the breath he had been holding before rushing to Xavier's side. He was alive, just knocked out. "I'll flank the back, make sure the Feral doesn't come back for us." He said.

Sparks danced in the air as Aster gently shocked Xavier, just enough to wake him up. The blonde sighed softly and dusted his hands, before the two of them looked at Shailoh. At once, Emmet and Aster were by his side.

"I'm alright." The said vampire complained, completely unaware of his bleeding nose and eyes. Emmet clicked his tongue slightly before covering his nose. "Oh."

"Oh is right. To in probably overworked your powers." the redhead winced when he saw that even his ears were bleeding. "Let's get back. Aster, supoo—Oomph!!"

His words cut off when Shailoh lurched forward, probably out cold from all the excitement and the exhaustion of pushing his powers far beyond his limits.

Eskel carried the unconscious Shailoh as Vladimir carried Xavier. Returning back to their lodge and away from the where the Feral was killed. Xavier and Shailoh were placed in the bedroom where they were would rest.

Eskel walked out first with Aster by him to find some blood bags in the kitchen.

Vladimir looked at Emmett and tugged on his shirt as he walked out of the room.

Xavier slowly opened his eyes and leans up to hold his head. He felt where his head landed, but no bruise. He looked around the room. Red walls with candle lanters burning brightly. His eyes wondered around and examined the paintings of old family members of Vladimir's.

He sighs as he looked over to see Shailoh laying next to him. He pushed his hair out of his eye sight and examined him. It looked as if he was winded from doing something drastic.

Xavier lifted his hand up and looked at his wrist. He pierced the vein with his fang and watched as blood flowed. He moved his wrist over his mate's lips and watched as the blood dripped on his lips. Waiting for him to awake.

Emmet was pacing to and from again, worriedly nibbling on his bottom lip as he waited. Aster, for once, was seated down, not moving at he watched the redhead burn a hole into the rug. Of course, he went out of his way to get out of Emmet's way. He didn't want the nervous vampire on his case.

Inside the room, Shailoh felt something warm nudging his mouth. The sweet smell attacked his senses and he let out a soft whimper, mouth parting slightly. The few drops of blood began to drip into his mouth, and his throat moved as he swallowed, slowly regaining consciousness.

Xavier noticed the lips had moved and sees a opening in the mouth. He placed his wrist above the opening and squeezes his hand and watched as the blood continued flowing out and landing inside of Shailoh's mouth. Xavier groomed his hair with the other hand as he still bled. Humming a tune to himself as he waited.

Vladimir watched as his mate paced back and forth. Waiting for the results of the next step. He sighs as Vladimir finally steps forward and wrapped his arms around the vampire. Holding him close and placed his head on his chest. "It'll be okay." Vladimir said.

Eskel looked at the other vampire, and placed his hand on the top of his head and brushed his hair. And sits next to him, with his arm extended out and leans his head back.

Finally, Shailoh blinked, eyes sleepily slipping open. Gently removing Xavier's wrist, he ran his tongue over the wound, before pressing his lips over the cut. Green eyes glinted as he pulled his mate down, pressing their lips together in a demanding kiss. After a while, he pulled away, licking his lips and looking at his mate. "You okay?"

Aster watched as Vlad tried to calm the Anxious Emmet, and he leaned closer to Eskel, before sliding so he was sitting on the other Vampire's lap. "Think they're awake?" He asked.

"Oh, they better be. Those two idiots. Running out like that and then getting attacked THEN overusing his powers... " Emmet grunted, turning over to face Vladimir with a snort before sagging in his arms. Those two really knew how to get into trouble.

Xavier was surprised when his head was pulled down to kiss the other vampire. Closing his eyes and kissing the brunette, he moaned softly as he kissed. He smiled as he looked at the other, staring at his eyes. "I was more concerned about you." He replied softly, then leans down and kisses him once more. Xavier sits on top of the other and continued kissing him for some time.



Vladimir heard the doors opened and sees Xavier and Shailoh entered the main living room. Vladimir had a smile on his face and looked to his mate. "See?" He said softly. "They're alright."

Eskel clapped his hands together as he sees the two together. "Good to see you two made it!" He said with a laugh. "And look at that, you two are finally getting along." He rubbed Aster's head in celebration.

Shailoh snickered. "Idiot." He murmured, sitting up and giving Xavier one last affectionate nuzzle before tugging him out of the bed. He could almost hear Emmet pacing outside, and true enough, his red eyes glared sharply as Shailoh, he believed he had a cut.

"Obviously." He said before using his powers to freeze them into place. "What were you two idiots thinking?!" He growled, before turning on Shailoh, who would've looked away if he could. "And you!! You overstepped your limits! AGAIN!" He scolded, releasing his hold on them before sniffing and giving them a glare. "Explain yourselves." He said.

Aster, on the other hand, purred and smothered himself on his mate. "Looks like Em was really worried, Right Eskel?" He stated, watching the fuming redheaded vampire wait for his answers.

"You guys said we should be getting along." Xavier explained as he looked at Emmett, then to Vladimir. "So we decided to walk in the woods and take a nice little breather." He sighs softly. "Isn't that what you guys wanted?" He asked with a curious face.

Vladimir blinked a couple times before folding his arms. "Still, you two should have told us that you were going out." He shifted his body towards Emmett, his hand reached to his. "I think they had a point." He spoke softly. "We do wanted them to get along and now..." He looked at the two, they seemed closer then ever. "...now they seem to care about each other." Vladimir looked to Eskel for another approval.

Eskel watched as the show had begun. But when Vladimir had his saying, but looked to his direction for another. "Emmett has the right to be angry. But Vladimir and Xavier are right about their...previous history." His eyes moved towards the frozen couple. His hand still combing through his mates hair.

Eskel stood up from the chair and felt his mate climbing on him. "But still, Shailoh." He looked at the small vampire. "You ought to know your limits again'st those who are stronger then you. Otherwise you would have been food for that Feral." Then his mind changed. "Speaking of Feral, what happened to that thing anyways?" He asked looking at Vladimir.

"Ferals are usually torn apart by normal beings, or those who know how to handle Ferals." His placed his finger to his lip, figuring out how that works. "Vincent was the one who took on that Feral, and by the look of it. The Feral put up a fight again'st Vincent." He hummed a bit, "Vincent usually can destroy them in seconds." Then folded his arms. "I have no clue if Vincent destroyed it or now." Now he grew worried.

Shailoh looked away before shrugging carelessly, realizing that Emmet had released them. "I didn't realize I went past my limit by a mile. Didn't notice it until I was out cold." He said, flinching when Emmet glared at him once more. He understood the worry, of course, and it wasn't unfounded given the many times he has overdone himself in the past.

"It was probably rendered deaf, should be easier to kill." Emmet offered, with Aster nodding along as they stared at Shailoh. It was obvious that the brunette was very uncomfortable about his lack of knowing his upper limit all the time. With another sigh the redhead shook his head.

"Does this mean we'd have to stay indoors for the next twenty-four hours?" Aster piped in, seemingly unhappy about not being allowed outside, if the sad pout was anything to go by.

Vladimir shook his head towards Aster's question about the outdoor activities. "No, it was just one Feral." He looked towards Xavier and Shailoh and sighs softly. "Next time. just let someone know before you take off again."

Xavier nodded as she tugged Shailoh's elbow and reached for his hand, clenching with his fingers and lead him to another room.

Eskel looked up with a eyebrow raised up. "Well, guess they really getting along." He said as the two left the room. He looked at Aster and poked the side of his body. "Come on, if we wanna go for a run. Best we do it now." He smiled. Standing up from the seat and looked at Emmett, "I vote we put a tracking device on him." He joked, patting the male on the shoulder before heading to his room to find his jogging clothing.



After the vacation, the group returned to the Trinity High School as anew. Xavier and Shailoh had learned to work their differences, though Shailoh is the more dominance of the two. Xavier finally accepted Shailoh as his new mate, and did his best to keep his mate happy for as long as he can. The two even attended the same college after Trinity High School and soon lived together.

Vladimir and Emmett are still together after their days of High School and College, Vladimir still keeps getting hit on by other vampires due to his ability to hide his scent. But Emmett however kept the wolves at bay, showing who is with who.
