.The Story.
Once a great continent on the planets surface, Aelham was the home to a diverse group of races. It is said that many millenniums ago, the planet was dying, but that the Gods thought to save certain races by lifting up their homes into the sky. By doing so, they split the continent, and its great many cities apart onto different land masses, now the Islands of Aelham. The gods also gifted the people with means of traveling from island to island through a great many creatures that were just as diverse as the people and islands themselves.
It had been many years since the divide and with one war already in their past, another one seemed inevitable.
The first war had not just affected those directly involved in the fight, but just about every other race as well. In an effort to quail the damage, certain races like the Veg'eta, offered their services as peace-keepers or mediators between the sides.
Our story will begin with one of those Arbitrary meetings. With delegates from each island coming to one place (The Senate Hall on the Aelham Capitol Island) there's no telling what the outcome will be.
The Aelham Capitol (http://www.freakygaming.com/gallery/strategy_games/heroes_of_might_and_magic_5/hovering_sky_city.jpg)-The entire island is a giant walled structure. The capitol city of Aelham before and after the great divide.
