So XCOM is becoming reverse compatible on the Xbox one. And I was thinking of starting a game in which the agents were named after RPA members. I'd record and post their missions and keep track of their kills, assists and injuries up to the point in which the game is completed or they are unable to continue.

So I need a vote on three things.

Tutorial: yes or no
Ironman mode: yes or no
And difficulty: 1-4 (4 being hardest)

Only volunteers get to vote as it will be their lives on the line. Also anytime there is an option in the promotion screen I'll pm that person to let them decide.

I say 3 or 4, the higher difficulty means you can have a better/unfortunate chance of a rotating team. Meaning the greater presence of "guest" stars. Haha. I'd really only suggest Iron Man if you're experienced in the game. As for the tutorial, it does give you some early game bonuses.

If it's your first game of XCOM, I'd say don't do Ironman, as the main thing that screws you over is stupid probability.

I'd suggest keep to the lower difficulties if you want an actually fair game. At higher difficulties enemies become just straight up unfair.

So I finally got XCom 2 and so have played it a little. And there are 2 things I instantly notice.

1) If I were to start an RPA roster for it I don't necessarily need to end the current xcom 1 game.

Well according to the opening sequence of XCom 2 we lost and the commander was captured. I fully intended to bring over all the characters from the previous incarnation and allow each of you full range over your appearance and everything else that is customizable including country of origin.
