Personality : Helenas' excitable nature is teamed with a keen passion for uncovering the truth, and a definite knack for rooting it out of wherever it's been buried. Her bubbly, somewhat erratic personality is disarming, but beneath the silly surface there lies a surprisingly sharp mind.
Virtues/Strengths: Honest, Compassionate, Intelligent, Determined.
Flaws/Weaknesses: Absent-minded, Over-excitable, A little naive. Can get very caught up in a theory or idea, regardless of actual physical evidence.
History: Helena had an unremarkable childhood - apart from the whole Witch thing, of course. Her father was the editor of a London paper; her mother, the owner of an 'Oddities & Antiques' store on Diagon Alley. Helena inherited both her fathers' passion for finding the truth, and reporting it; and her mothers' playful and peculiar nature.
She was an average student, tending to spend more time on gossip and rumoured mysteries about the castle. Though easily distracted, Helena was bright enough to get through with decent marks and got an internship at the Daily Prophet.
Though she isn't yet getting to cover the hard-hitting, serious stories she craves, she does get to see her name in print from time to time - when she's not getting coffee, or chasing candid shots for other people's articles. If only she could stop making silly screw-ups, she might be able to get ahead! All she needs is one seriously amazing story...
