Rules & Procedure for House Points
What would Hogwarts be without the fierce friendly competition for House Cup?? Here you can see which House is winning, and which students are top ranked for gains and losses of points! But how do you earn them? Here's how it works:
House Points can be gained in two ways: the first is simple. Just rp! For every completed thread that your character participates in, they will earn 5 points for their House! Super simple!
The second way to earn points is for your character to earn them IC! If your chara earns or loses points in character, they will be added/subtracted here!
Quidditch Points
As in the canon series, points can be earned for Quidditch matches won. The winning team earns the same amount of points they beat the opposing team by. For example, if Gryffindor beats Slytherin 120 to 90, Gryffindor will earn 30 points. ( 120 - 90 = 30 )
Characters who can give or take House Points:
-Headmaster/Mistress
-Professors
-Head Boy/Girl
-Prefects
If you play one of these characters, you are allowed to have your character give and take House Points from others! However, the GM's will be monitoring to ensure this is done fairly. If you abuse this by giving your own characters, or your friends loads of points for no reason, you will lose the privilege of giving them - and that character will lose their points!
If you feel points are being given/taken unfairly, please let one of the GM's, Juni or G know and we will investigate.
